A Magical Place for All Ages – Sazova Park is a Must-Visit! Our visit to Sazova Science, Culture, and Art Park (Sazofa) was absolutely unforgettable! The park is incredibly well-designed, offering a perfect blend of nature, education, and entertainment. Whether you're with kids, friends, or just exploring on your own, there’s something special for everyone. We loved walking around the peaceful green spaces and were amazed by the beautiful Fairy Tale Castle, which looked like it came straight out of a storybook. The pirate ship, mini zoo, aquarium, and planetarium were big hits with the kids, while we enjoyed the calm and beauty of the Japanese Garden. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were polite and helpful. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this park a place of joy and learning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Eskişehir — it’s a place where imagination and culture come together beautifully!

It was a nice park to take pictures in and had several cafes for people to rest, I could not get in the castle but I don't think they have a lot of fun in there anyways, it did not allow picnicing of any kind which made the experience less fun because what's the point in sitting by the pond if I am not going to be eating some homemade sandwiches by it, right. Other than that, it was free and the weather was good, so I liked the place but can't say I loved it. You can go there just to see the castle and get some pictures.

A nice place to take young kids to enjoy. It is more like a miniature version of Disneyland, but nothing like Disneyland. The surrounding and outside of the building is beautifully designed but nothing much to see inside the castle. The mannequins inside the castle are a disaster, i wonder how they even got approved to be kept there. The 5 star is for just the view and park outside

Nice to visit but during the summer it’s very hot to stay outdoor , I advise them to close late during the summer season to give more time for who come late .

Wide, beautiful, green place with multiple coffee shops on the site, I was expecting more things to do and more places to visit other than the castle that was mostly restriced which was a bummer, and the pirate ship which was very nice and well made

You can reach to Sazova park by bus or tram. If you go by bus then take bus 11 from Odunpazari which goes to Sazova park directly. There is a bus stop in front of the park. If you travel by Tram, the last station is Osmangazi University. From there, you have to walk for 20 minutes to reach the park. The park is just right side of the university. The park is free for everyone. The park has following amenities- Sazova Castle, Lake, Ship Museum, Natural views, Water Aquarium and Science Museum.

This park is open for public with free of charge. Only on certain place such as ship and castle access for adult requires charges with very low cost. The open park was beautiful and well maintained. Some area has provided with small shop to provide water and ice-cream. Or you can bring some foods and drinks from shops outside enternce. Good job Turkiye!!

This makes it hard to fully appreciate the collection. The museum could greatly benefit from adding more detailed labels and explanations. Entry is 60 TL accessible with a museum card..

Nicely curated, very informative, has interactive pieces which captures the kids imaginations. We had already toured some sites physically which added to our enjoyment.

This museum has a lot of potential and really needs someone to pick up their socks and make it into something amazing. When you walk in through the garden, there are old ruins. Something interactive or engaging that would help people visitors experience those ruins in a more meaningful way is currently lacking. But it is beautiful and nice to walk through the modern and ancient together in an open space. . The ground floor has little Information alongside the exhibits and little in English. The upstairs exhibits are well documented and exhibited and there are reading materials next to the exhibits. Eskişehir is actually an archaeologically rich place with many dig sites nearby. It is just waiting for someone to wake up and put it on the tourist map in an interesting way.

For an art lover, this is quite a place to savor lots of old antiques. For students in Turkey, you can enter with the museum card.

This museum is part of the national museum pass, without pass it is currently 20 lira for entrance. It is small, but the museum is high quality and beautiful. They even have a few interactive displays.

Good bite sized museum. Very basic, nothing special. Cool to go to if you have time but don’t go out of your way to go.

This place runs by municipality however they charge extra for taking a photography (by professional photographer) with the sculptures in some of the area. This extra charge uses for education and scholarship of the girl students. It doesn’t bother you, it uses for good will. The sculptures are looking good and also, some of them exactly the same as its model (looking very real) If you visiting Eskişehir, you should see this place.

The eskiseher version of wax museum, alot of local heros followed by the statues of past heros and ottomans too. Very little amount of international personalities are there and in that section no photos are allowed. Do visit if your fan of favourite personalities of the country otherwise don’t be misled to find international artists or individuals’s waxes.

I had better experience when it was first opened. Still good place to visit on your way to Kursunlu Mosque or Odunpazari Houses. Wax sculptures of celebrities and historic people. Worth seeing 👍

It's a must see if you're visiting Eskişehir. Consists of a lot of famous figures of Turkey and all wax statutes are made by the city's mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen. It's a bit crowded at the weekends. Entrance is also inexpensive, an ordinary ticket is 10 liras and students and older people 5 liras.

Based mostly on Turkish leading figures, the wax museum boasts small but handy collection. The Museum has longer queues owing to safety parameters regarding Covid19.

Such a nice place if you like modern art. It’s not very big , if you want to read everything it will take probably around an hour. We went there by walking so I have no idea about parking. There is odunpazari historical and old themed places around which is nice to walk around after museum.

The best museum in Eskişehir. Some items are really great and creative. The building has a nice and modern design surrounded in a traditional area. It has a nice cafe to enjoy too.

Let me start by saying the building looks amazing, the architects deserve a round of applause; inside and out it’s amazing work. Ot only is the building amazing, but so is the art work inside. The museum itself costs 100 Lira to enter ($3). The art work inside the museum is incredible and really creative. I wouldn’t say I go out of my way to go to art museums but this one is definitely worth it if you’re in the city, value for money too.

There were modern art glass, some very creative. Three main rooms, a central courtyard with the Chihuly style glass chandelier. That piece could use a cleaning. On the hot day we visited the central area had some appreciated nice cool air blowing and benches to sit and rest.

A heaven for glass artist. A picturesque place. Multiple glass varied arts followed by a spacious and two story building. Some history of the category is also there. A good outdoor space in the middle for a round view and direct sunlight is evident for some pictures too.

Beautiful pieces, it was a great experience. When I visited there was another exhibition on olive trees. The price was 13 liras for adults which is very good.

A great place of craftmanship pieces to take home as gifts for one's loved ones. It is located within the Kursun Cami and kulliyesi complex, in the beautiful area of historic Odunpazari houses.

It is one of the must-see places in Eskisehir, but when it comes to museum, I was expecting a bigger and more complicated place, but it was a more minimal place. There are many masks in it and you can shop from the shops in it.

It is not really a museum, it is more a shop. But is is free to visit and there Are some Amazing art pieces with Meerschaum.

They had a great selection of stores and places to eat, Levi’s, U.S Polo, Starbucks, etc.

Secure and well organised shopping mall. Onus on shopping for clothing items. There are many outlets. It is generally expensive but many bargains are to be found. Friendly people. Recommended.

Convenient, not so cheap, quality clothes but no good design(I personally, hate ugly design of nf jackets). Weather just got cold, l only brought windbreaker for fall not for this 2+ month trip. just bought winter jacket for under $100, fabric felt ok, design soso but it feels warm.

Atmosphere is calm. A lot of trees. Patlıcanlı çorba (soup) was good, bread with this çorba was Amazing. Creamy pasta with pea (bezelye) was 4 out 5. In September 2022 çorba price was 65 tl, pasta with pea 125 tl. Portions are big enough in my opinion

A restaurant with enjoyable atmosphere, good location, and great food. A resturant with amazingly great potential that they just fail to use. As mentioned, the food is delicious, professionally made and absolutely heavenly. The staff is friendly and and hospitable. Unfortunately, they lack the necessary communication skills and go against the basic rules of restaurant service and hospitality business in general. During my first visit, I had an entrée and a main course and these were all fabulous. I did have to wait for the wine that I ordered with the main course but it was brought eventually. When I was ready for a dessert and my final drink, they turned off the lights and just gave me the bill, hinting that it was time to leave. It was more than half an hour before the official closing time. Although I was surprised about the previous experience, I did go back to enjoy the food again and to give the place another chance. That time, I never got the wine I ordered with my main course. I even told the waiter that I also wanted a dessert at the end. I went in earlier not to stay until last minute. And the same thing happened. Once I got to the dessert time, it was an hour before closing and the staff was nowhere to be found. So I sat for 20 minutes, then someone passed by. I asked if the kitchen was still open for dessert for, the waiter simply cleaned my table and disappeared again. I paid on my way out. Such a shame, once again, how you can ruin an experience with the lack of basic service standards. One day, maybe, who knows, I might even get to try one the desserts.

I have ordered dry aged stake medium. It came on lava plate, making all my clothes and my phones screen oil. This is not my first time in this restaurant, place acting like meat restaurants eager to get likes online, serving medium steak on lava plate making it well done till I eat. I don’t even mention the chef who sliced my steak from middle and make it thin. This kind of serving is far from Mediterranean elegance, it is Arab style. Chef hear me out, your direction is wrong. Also waitresses keeping table dirty for far too long.

Very nice park for people of all ages interested in nature. It is one of the beautiful recreational parks along the porsuk river.

It places near the porsuk river, you may make sports, jogging here or near the river as well. It is a popular place who like nature and sport. This park is not a big one ! Don't expect like a big european standart park :) Inside the park there is two small restaurants which you can order a delicious crepe with meat with cheese and basil sauce. I do not recomend you the "Bilge Cafe&Bistro" It is a small smoking place ! Even it is forbidden but they let people to smoke !

Loud Music Shopping Center. My recent visit to Vega Outlet was overall pleasant, but there were a few drawbacks that affected my experience. One of the main issues was the loud music coming from the games section, which made it difficult to focus on shopping or even holding a conversation with my companions. While I appreciate that the center offers a range of entertainment options, it would be better if the sound levels were more balanced and not as overwhelming. Aside from this issue, I found the center to be clean and well-maintained, with a good selection of stores and restaurants to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of amenities available such as restrooms and seating areas. Overall, I would recommend it as a place to shop and hang out, but I would caution visitors to be prepared for the noise levels in the games section.

It is a nice shopping mall. We were in the neighborhood, so it was very practical to do a quick shopping trip and have lunch there. It was not busy, and we could find everything we were looking for from books, clothing to personal care stuff. I could not see an area for small children. I hope they have a safe area for children as well.

Not too congested with the crowd. Has decent size balcony to get air without having to pass through security to get back in. Convenient, clean and has all the basic perks a mall should offer.

They shouldn’t call it a shopping mall, a very limited restaurants in the food court, Migros and few shops inside, a very crowded amusement area with nonsense arcade games, half of it broken and not working. Bowling space is extremely crowded and noisy you can hear the screaming 2 floors away. The toilets are very dirty and filthy smell.

Odunpazarı was a vibe – colourful houses, cute little streets, felt like walking through history. Proper photogenic, locals were super chill, and the tea hits different there. 100% worth a visit if you’re in Eskişehir.

I couldnt find anything historical at this place even though i walked for 45 mnts and about 2.5km to reach it just to find old houses demolished and restored for the way they are now, public restrooms are a total mess with very stinky urine smell all over the place, you could take cool beautiful pictures of the streets and houses sure but thats it honestly absolutly nothing hostorical to see or do, not worth the hype if you ask me

An amazing place. It should be one of your first destinations when you visit Eskişehir. I fell in love with the streets, old and colorful houses, shops, cafés...etc. everything is stunning.

When the sun sets over the Odunpazari, the place becomes more sexy. As you see in the photo above, Odunpazari is full of colorful houses. It has Museum, cafes, restaurants and markets in its premises. To go to Odunpazari, take bus from any station and get down at Odunpazari station. You can also travel by tram. By tram, get down at Ataturk Lisesi then walk towards right side for 100 meters. Then you will see Odunpazari colorful old houses. In Odunpazar you can buy popular Meerschaum Pipe with cheap price. If you can bargain, you can win over prices.

Really interesting mini museum of different architectural buildings mostly from Ottomans. Unfortunately it is not friendly for non-Turkish speakers, because there is no English translation available for the monuments description, but it's worth a small walk.

It's very curious and cute, amazing what Turks were able to make in the past! Just one mistake. The Mostar Bridge was not destroyed by the Serbs in the last Bosnian war, but by the Croats.

Odunpazarı is arguably the flagship area of Eskişehir. Sitting on a hillside, overlooking the city, its colourful 19th century Ottoman houses. There are handcrafted meerschaum works on the lower floors and dining venues on the upper floors.

You can find many beautiful accessories and souvenirs! I bought a lot of bracelets and necklaces with meerschaum.

This is a wonderful place, especially I recommend to visit there glass shop on second floor. Jewelry from glass looks stunning. I love this place, was there for few times. Better to come on Friday:)

The castle lies in a military zone and you will not be allowed to enter it by the soldiers - at least if you are a foreigner, not sure if this goes also for Turkish citizens. There are no signs that it is a forbidden area if you approach form the Karacasehir town (eastern route). The soldiers took photos of my passport and called the Genarmerie to escort me away. A team of archeologists from the Anadolu University is doing excavations in the castle, so maybe it will be open for the public in the future?

I visited this in 2019 this very beautiful architecture structure and their wall so strong but due to not proper care this fort know endangered conditions

History Remarks here itself ! It's the first Castle 🏰 concord by Ertughral Ghazi in twelfth Century. There isn't much remaining now but for history lovers it would be charm and recall the memories:)
