Once again Bulgaria does it right. A beautiful park along the beach. With restaurants, amusement attractions for children, beautiful flowers everywhere overlooking the beautiful beach. Burgas is a nice little Balkan sea city. Great place for children to run around and play. Great for adults to go for walks or just chill. 🇧🇬 👌🏽 🎶 “I’m lovin it” 🎶
Looks well maintained. Well lit during the night. Nice place for a walk or circling. About 40mins in each direction. You can take a walk on the beach side and on the way back check out the center of the garden. All of the cats are a bonus.
Beautiful park & garden near next to the beach. Lots of interesting artwork and benches to explore and relax. Well visited by locals and tourists. Few events happening. There was running event, independent market and musical event in the open air theatre when we visited. Nice place to unwind and get some fresh air.
Amazing huge park near the beach. A lot of stuff to explore! Definitely must visit and walk through all the interesting locations ❤️
Amazing park with loads to see, shops and stalls to buy food and drinks. Highly recommend to take the train all the way out to the salt bath.
The Sea Garden in Burgas is more than just a city park — it’s the soul of the city’s seaside experience. With its impressive mix of nature, culture, sea views, and recreational features, it’s a highly recommended stop when in Burgas. Whether you want to stroll among trees, relax by the sea, catch a concert, or enjoy a festival atmosphere, this garden has plenty to offer.
Beautiful park with an impressive array of sculptures. Peaceful and wonderfully maintained. And excellent access to the seafront which runs adjacent.
Lovely huge space for a walk. We even saw traditional dancers there.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Contemporary, upscale mall offering international brands & open-air eateries, plus a cinema.
Slide 1 of 8
This is a great place to visit if you enjoy shopping. I was staying in Sunny Beach and took a taxi to the Mall Galleria for a few hours of retail therapy, for reference the taxi costs 200lv return (about €100 or £87). The centre has a good choice of shops from H&M, Zara and New Yorkers for Fashion to Lidl and IKEA for the home. There is a cinema and a good choice of restaurants in the food court on the top floor, these included KFC and McDonald's. Overall if you are looking for a shopping trip from Sunny Beach then I recommend this shopping centre.
Lovely mall. Clean and nicely air conditioned. Great variety of shops over three floors. Ample underground parking which is free. Always a winner 🏆 Food court not great though. KFC always jammed and very slow. Hessburger busy and slow too. McDonald’s always get the order wrong. Aladdin just cold, badly cooked crap. 💩
Nice modern mall with good balance of international and local / regional brands. Also wide possibilities for refreshments, drinks, coffee and food. I would definitely come back. Surprisingly fast access with public transport bus Б2 so even from the city center it is 15 mins away.
Horrible shopping centre. Every shop I went to the customer service was a negative experience. No-one seems to want to work here with a smile. The only positive is the parking is free. They must have issues with shoplifting etc. as the security are very keen to keep a close eye on shoppers. I would have bought items from a number of outlets but was totally put off by the experience. Particularly in Nike, Zara and worst of the lot Starbucks. In contrast to shops in the centre of Burgas where everyone seemed lovely. I won't be revisiting if I'm ever back in Burgas
During my visit I encountered significant issues with both your staff and facilities. When I approached the information desk for assistance, the staff member was engaged in a personal phone conversation and showed no willingness to help. This is unacceptable behavior for someone whose role is to provide support and information to visitors. Furthermore, upon leaving the mall, the car park was completely blocked. Vehicles were stuck for an extended period of time, and no communication or explanation was provided as to why the delay was occurring or how long it would take. This lack of organization and information caused unnecessary frustration and inconvenience.
We didn’t even manage to enter. Horrible traffic until we reach the mall, there were no free parking lots above so the security guided everybody to the underground parking… which was also full! So we were stuck underground for more than hour with two children-no free parking lots and too much traffic to exit fast! Horrible experience-will never repeat this spot!
Hello I come here With a probem from your store locating in Burgas ( Mall Galleria Burgas ) The iqos island located in mall I was there and I have ask to buy 4 boxes of Terea Turquoise The Young lady sayd is 260 Bgn /leva I payd With card and I have received 4 boxes one bag and a bon / recipe that says 260 leva After I leave and I have seen that in my bank App The sume 360 leva have been taken I Will report this further with The proper authorities
A good place for families especially kids. It has an indoor play area, arcade with Playstation area, bowling and cinema. Very busy in season though. Shops are ok and it has a food court with a fairly good choice. Including Hesburger, McDonald's, KFC, Subway, Pizza, Sushi and traditional Bulgarian food. There is also a gym. The outside car park gets mega busy though so use the inside one 😉

"St. Anastasia Island (Bulgarian: остров св. Анастасия, ostrov Sv. Anastasiya, formerly called Bolshevik Island, остров Болшевик) is a small Bulgarian island in the Black Sea. It is located in the Gulf of Burgas, 1.5 km off the coast near Chernomorets, at 12 metres above sea level, and covers a territory of one hectare. The island is built of volcanic rocks. It is the only inhabited island off the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. "
Great place for half-day sightseeing. Museum and church are must visit. The island is small, however, full with history and charm. Beautiful views. The restaurant offers very good fresh sea food! Was lucky to be there during herbs festival on Jun 24th, as there was small local business bazaar.
Really relaxing time we spent there. However, there are not much places to visit - it is small island. But beautiful! The cold tea is really refreshing!
The boat takes 30 minutes to get to the island. You have two hours to explore it, which us perfectly fine because the island is very small. There is a museum, a church and a restaurant. Neither is worth visiting, unfortunately. Still the views are great and its a relaxing place. If you travel with kids, ask them to find the well with the hidden pirate treasure. It will make an entertaining, albeit short quest.
Very beautiful place. Unique, worth visiting. Rich history and legends.
Beautiful place to spend some time. Small but if you are planning to have lunch and coffee there perfect. Highly recommended!
Great place to visit, nice interactive museum and old church. Tarama havier is must have!
This is perfect place for children. Have a museum, an ancient church, tea and coffe bar, restaurant...

Muzeum is very small, but collection is a gem. I didn't even know the area had so much history here, from the stone age through the middle ages. Artifacts are absolutely astonishing. Also, the muzeum workers are very nice and friendly. I totally recommend for a short visit for anyone who loves ancient history.
As someone accustomed with ancient history the contents of this exhibition are very interesting. However the way these contents are presented really could be more attractive. It lacks character or interactive elements. The exhibition is not big. If you read all of the text, which gets really weary to be honest, you can take in all of it in about 20 minutes. I would recommend this to people with intrinsic interest in ancient (European) history who don't mind reading a lot of text.
Worth 5 stars. It’s small but an excellent archaeological museum. They have one room dedicated to anthropomorphic clay bone and stone carved statues
Interesting, little and good place You should go.
I saw this museum for 10 leva which included a tour of four museums in Burgas. The gold collection itself is wonderful enough to deserve that price!! This is one of the best museums in Bulgaria: has a new look, very unlike the typical communist ones, allows photos of items, it tells a story and it has detailed descriptions of the artefacts in English, doesn't get better than that. Congratulations to the curators and to the city of Burgas for hosting such a gem!
It's a small but significant museum. The additional exhibition of prehistoric deities was especially rich and interesting.
A small but nice museum. The artefacts are displayed in a traditional style behind the windows and following a chronological line from prehistory to modern time.
Very nice museum, small and very well arranged. We spent there one hour reading and day dreaming about the past ages. The exposition of gold treasures is also a must to see.

Very beautiful and nice place. Not the best I've seen in Bulgaria, but it's ok for a light trip
Excellent description of the area and profound explanation of the reason of plant development.
One of the last wild places in Europe, must see!!!
A very small part of Strandzha mountain is in Bulgaria, the bigger part is in Turkey. It is a pleasure to walk here because there are not too many people like in Rila and Put in and in the same time it is much easier. The combination of sea and forest gives something unique to the place

First of all, now it called Grand Plaza. They changed name. We visited a new store " BulMag supermarket ". Everything was great!
There are barely any interesting shops, just regular shops that are everywhere else and prices are same as in Western Europe. Just one paid attraction for kids. Not worthy to spend time. The parking has a sign saying there are thieves active in that area, so I guess it is not safe to park there for a longer period of time. There is Costa Coffee with wonderful baristas, I guess the only positive thing about the shopping mall.
Not that much to do in there at the moment. Has a respectable number of shops , coffee and a few places to eat. Recently opened a new playground and a nice supermarket. It was said that there will be a cinema there soon so definitely curious to see the development.
“Just spent the day at Burgas Plaza Mall! Super chill vibe, tons of shops like H&M and Sport Vision, and grabbed a latte at Starbucks ☕. Kids had a blast at Capella Play. Easy parking, not too crowded, just perfect for a laid-back shopping trip. Def coming back! #BurgasPlaza #LocalVibes”
Unfortunately not a good experience. 1) charged 2 times 1 coffee in the Starbucks 2) Most shops where closed or 'coming soon'... 3) Compass shop: my wife got kicked out around 11:00 because the lady was cleaning the floor (they open at 10:00) she got yelled at after setting 1 foot inside the shop that was open... Service in Bulgaria can be challenging but this one was the queen of the 'I don't want to sell don't bother me attitude' 4) Taxi burgas plaza: avoid if you are not familiar with Burgas, (we live in Sofia) they rip you off with a big smile even when you tell them they are ripping you off... I always use Yellow taxi up so I knew the trip was 8 leva max, but no taxi available... he did not put his meter on and said it was 15 leva, even when we confronted him with the fact we knew he was ripping us off... No need to get violent over 15 leva but it was tempting :-) :-)
Very nice place for shopping. Free parking.
* Open every day from ⏲ 09.00 till 21.00 * Toilets 🚻 are clean * They have a Starbucks&Costa café☕ * They have a MC Donald * Many stores in the mall are closed * A wide big 🚗parking place * They have massage chairs(2.floor) * Security at the entrance asks for a Covid/QR code💉 #Burhaz #ShoppingMall #Bulgaria

Such a sweet little church which has been beautifully preserved. Look to the back of church for the painting of St Stephen being stoned to death, note that on the far right of the scene the young man not holding a stone only watching was Saul who later became St Paul.

A historical and large church in the city center. It has become a symbol for the city of Burgas.
Good looking place on the square
Church built by a Italian arhitect, looking much more like some western style churches, perfect for this city.
A gorgeous church named after the brothers they created the Cyrillic alphabet. They had to close down the church for a couple of years before redoing the foundation due to a company building a car park underneath it- but now it’s open!
Very nice church, one of the main sites of the city actually. They just finished repairing it, and it looks very good. Close to a lot of other landmarks and transport nodes. Worth coming here!
It should be beautiful after restoration.
Not able to see inside. Interesting clean tidy lines from outside
It's the largest and oldest Eastern Orthodox Cathedral in Burgas. It was built just over 100 years ago. The outside looks very impressive. The inside is decorated in a typical style. The frescos, done by the same artist who did the ones in Alexander Nevski in Sofia, are a bit faded and need to be restored. The inside is not nearly as opulent as others I have seen. The entire building looks like it needs some TLC but it is a wonderful place to visit.

If I'd go back to Burgas it would be just to visit this place. Highly recommend visiting if you're an animal lover like me. You can also buy a pin with your favorite bird!
This is a wonderful place with professional people, passionate about their work. It is a place where you can observe different species of birds depending on the season. I recommend visiting this place.
One of the most important tours “Via Pontica” for all the birds to route from Europe to Africa pass through this exact place. So close to highly urbanised seaside city, it’s miracle to have it so close and so well reserved. If you want to feel the wiled and enjoy the birds - must visit.
Excellent place to watch birds and have a coffee. Privately managed. Pins and t-shirts for sale. Telescope needed, birds are far away.
Absolutely amazing place! Possibility to see a lot of species of birds, get fascinating walk between sea side and lakes. Highly recommended for a people who are exited by a wild nature. It's NGO with really important mission so live donation if you can afford!
Gates open at 9am, was a bit early but we'll worth the wait. Had a good variety of birds to get photos, wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back .👍😁
B eautiful place. Friendly staff. Low affordable prices . For nature and animal lovers, you must visit this place.
We only went here to watch birds. They provide binoculars (10 × 50) which is super nice, but still not enough to identify all birds around there. There was a colony of Sandwich Terns and a few Little Terns, which was very nice. And a few waders (plovers, dunlin, little egret, pied acovet, and so on)

Cute museum with a bit of info of Burgas. Takes about 30 min to go through the museum.
We really enjoyed the museum. It is not a super large one. It is one that one can see and learn and consider about the world that is around us. There are 4 museum in Burgas that are close. I recommend getting a day pass for all of them. The information of icons was great. Displays are in Bulgarian and English.
Small museum. We were the only ones in there and its a quick tour of history at that. Worth a visit, nice collection
Very small collection of period after the Russian-Turkish war. Mainly about liberation and uprising against the Ottomans. The hats for selfies are cool, and the different alphabets in the courtyard. The entrance fee is 6 lev for adults.
Had some interesting details about the local history of Burgas. Unfortunately skimmed over Bulgaria's involvement in the world wars, and generally painted Bulgarian history in a slightly biased way.
It is what it is. A history of Burgas. All, or most, descriptions are in English. Costs 5 Lev. I learnt something, but I have no prior knowledge
Not much to see there compared to other history museums.

In this way, the first rays of the sun of each day and the last glow of the sunset shine on the face of the saint. The relief itself is an artistic recreation of an icon, the original of which is kept in the Bari Cathedral in Italy; also the precious relics of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker are located here. It is believed that if you pass under the arc, you will be Healed from your illnesses and recharged with new energy and strength given by the saint. Something to see, just a little out of the way. Tour guide speaks English also. The bath house was the most interesting and greatest excavated. Museum had some very interesting pieces. The ear ring recently found and reported in internationally was great. Cheap too, only 5 Bulgarian, or 2.50€.
A completed underrated place. Still carrying on with the archeological excavations (just around 10% of the city visible now) but a must if interested on Roman sites in the Black Sea Bulgarian region. Pretty interesting museum (not a very large collection but with some surprising items). Good accesibility from Burgas.
Amazing museum! An adult ticket costs 5 L, and a guided tour is 10 L for the entire group. The guided tour was in English and very informative. The guide was super friendly. You can also visit the museum and nearby excavations, which are freely accessible.
A unique and quite place! You get an good impression of how life was during roman times. A nice walk around the buildings is also included and the Museum shows excelent items found in Deultum!
History is in the air. Nice way to show history to children as well - acient games, dig out treasure from the sand box, make your one pottery or jewls. Amazing artifacts in the museum.
Great museum with locally excavated exhibits to show the evolution and involution of settlements here : thracian, roman and even later on. The guide was great, he provided lots of interesting explanations in a good English, especially as the panels are only in Bulgarian. You can visit the ruins outside as well, I think that is free, but the explanations on rich and big colonia of Deultum are valuable.
Top point- very very good organized exposition and excellent staff

Wonderfully welcoming church. We came for the Saturday evening mass and arrived during the Rosary. Despite our responses being in English, they asked us to lead a decade, with us leading in English and the locals responding in Bulgarian. So kind and a true example of the universal Catholic church. Mass was also lovely and we were able to follow with our mass book despite the language difference.
A nice little church, set on the busy main road, but tranquil and peaceful inside. Not the most attractive place of worship, and probably only holds about 100 people, but a quiet location for searching and questioning your beliefs.
Nice church opens at 11 not 10 am.door locked treated as hobo.
