We had a lovely stay in Bonifacio, Federica is a lovely host, giving us a warm welcome and lots of tips! Very helpful, the space is comfortable and has everything one needs. There's also an amazing view of the cliffs and Sardinia! Bonifacio is a beautiful town and there are several unspoiled beaches that can be reached by private car.
Bonifacio and also the whole south of Corsica are to be seen and experienced in every way. We chose the right place to do it because our holiday in the apartment "Faro di Capo Testa" in the fantastic Bonifacio was just as we wished. The apartment is a tastefully decorated jewel in an extraordinary location in the old downtown of Bonifacio and very well located to reach the key points, restaurants and shops of the town. Although the streets are always full of days and nights, the apartment is very quiet and we really got a good rest each day. A small balcony, overlooking a small square, invites you to have an aperitif in the open air watching the people passing by and admiring the white cliffs located exactly in front of the apartment. The landscape from this point is simply breathtaking and one the best of the town. The cleanliness of the apartment deserves a good 10. Meticulous in every detail detail, Federica has managed to make our stay in Bonifacio a really pleasant and unforgettable experience. She was always very professional and helpful in her advices both before and during our stay. We were warmly welcomed by the host Federica, who gave us all the useful information regarding the available facilities: wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, air conditioning, etc. The apartment, located in the most beautiful town in Corsica for us, is equipped with everything. We visited in the end of August. It wasn't too crowded and the views are great. 5€ per person was worth it in my opinion.
When you visit Bonifacio, it's worth to take the tour of the stairs. Nice to see, but not spectacular. It's a steep descent, followed of course by an equally steep ascent. Good workout!
Classic Christine 5/5 A workout, paired with history, and amazing views sign me up 😗 Added bonus, a cute helmet accessory. These 189 steps were built in the 1400s so Corsicans could escape if any funny business arose back then because frankly that’s all there was to do, was try to conquer your neighbors island so why not build 189 staircase insurance policy. If my screen time were 0 hours I would do the same. My only advice, go as early as possible to avoid people panting behind you to go faster. Like hello, what happened to living in the moment as we role play fleeing the island? Anyway, it’s amazing and only €5, plus a great way to justify a Spritz afterwards. Don’t wear a fishnet shirt like I did, I was schvitzing although I did look cutesy (see attached photos) so maybe it was worth it… Follow Classic Christine for more tips ;)
Very steep 189 steps dug by hand into the cliff face. We went in August. It was very crowded and very hot. We saw a few people really struggling so take care , go early on the morning
A good workout. the panoramic views are the best. You need to be in shape since they are tough
Cool thing to do- slightly touristic but still worth it! Amazing views.
20 min walk in total and the views are worth it. Do it close to sunset time. The colors as magical.

Beautiful view, it’s a must see!
Simply 'heaven on Earth ' , and I won't say more so that you go and see it with your own eyes.
An absolutely gorgeous place, memorable walks through the beautiful granite rocks and wild Mediterranean vegetation with views to crystalline waters and access to cozy deserted beaches. A MUST if in south Corsica!
Awesome place, archutetures are something that u cant explain with words, for me it was amazing experiance and i suggest you all who didnt visit Bonafacio to visit it. Only problem we had is with parking place for car, hard to find, there are some private parking place 10€ for 1 day is parking.
A unique natural reserve Unspoiled wild beauty A must visit
Amazing unique habour haven for sailors. Old fortress overlooking harbour and sea with great views. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. Boat day trips are available if you arrive by land. Very busy in Summer.
Very short visit. Absolutely fantastic scenery. Very expensive prices in restaurants. But if you walk by the little streets you'll find this fantastic scenery.

This beautiful little beach is reached by passing through the larger, smelly Piantarella beach. To get there, we had to scramble over some rocks, where the width of the path changes depending on the water level, which can be a bit tricky but shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Once you arrive, the view is really great, although the limited space can make it feel a bit crowded. On this beach, there’s a wooden fence where you can hang your things. From here, you can also take some steps up and walk along the golf course to reach Grand Sperone Beach, which, in our opinion, is an even better version of this smaller one, though it’s a bit further to get to. You might want to check out the reviews for that beach too. But honestly, I highly recommend spending time here as well—the place looks amazing. Despite questioning whether it was worth it on the way over, it turned out to be totally worth it, and we had a fantastic time.
it's okay, but not amazing, the beach and water is clear but it's small so you need to arrive early. You also need to walk 10 mins or so from the carpark along the first beach and the only cafe is by the carpark Also Google.maps hasn't been updated here
Absolutely stunning best beach ever wow waters very turquoise sand completely divine a little bit of rocks and trees blocking some paths but apart from that completely perfect beach 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩I would rate it higher if I could Review from Cameron Age 9 but also every one else loves it too (mum/dad). :) :)🥰😍
Clean and family friendly small beach. Refreshing, quite and relaxing with a view to Sardinia's northeast islands. Simply amazing!
Beautiful beach near Bonifacio. The way there, however, requires rather sturdy shoes, or long clothes, because you either have to climb over some rocks, or walk through very narrow bushes. But you will be rewarded in any case and can either take this beautiful beach or walk another 10 minutes and go to Grande Sperone, which is also very beautiful.
Amazing secret beach! Great walk there across the rocks! Amazing weather even on 31st October
Good sandy beach close with amazing water. Is surrounded by some cliffs so is really green too. However the way here is not easy, you need to park first, then walk good 20 minutes,we came from the beach of piantarella. On the way you will find a roman villa, that you can see but no indication or history whatsoever (a shame). It gets a bit too crowded too easy so we left after a couple of hours.
Lovely beach with white sand! Google maps directions are wrong! Go to the end of Rte de Piantarella, then walk down the Piantarella beach and climb over the rocks, then 5 min walk and you are at the beach.

Amazing places, you might also bump into cows and bulls. We stayed there one day more just to enjoy the beach more! Highly recommended
In general, the beach is just a short distance from Porto Vecchio – about a 30-minute drive from the town center. Parking during the high season, or even shortly after, can be more difficult. We parked around 10 AM without any issues (early September). There are only a few sunbeds available for rent, so we definitely recommend bringing your own umbrella. There's also a bar and a restaurant, and for those interested, there's a volleyball court as well. We enjoyed our time here and we recommend this place 😊
The most beautiful beach here around with an excellent parking price and location. Just be careful for cows around the pine trees :)
Long round beach. Parking is reasonable (£6 per day) and well organised. Walk past the first rocks to avoid the crowded portion. Clear clean water. Restraunts can be busy - queue they open
The parking lot costs 6€ a day, and its totally worth it: the beach amazing and family friendly. On the day of the video there were way too much algs, hence the greenish water color. Still, great to swimming, dive and enjoy.
Beautiful beach, our personal favourite in Corsica. Great for snorkelling and swimming.
Gorgeous sandy beach with clear blue water. Great for swimming and a bit of snorkeling. Parking near by, currently 6 euros for the day with plenty of spaces. Gets really busy in the summer, less so off season. Has a decent place to eat next to it.
Most beautiful beach I have seen on Corsica. It has almost no waves and the water is quite shallow so you can walk quite some time until it gets deep 😁 perfect for children 😊

Wonderful place to visit in Bonifacio not just for its historical significance but also for the wonderful views from it.
Impressive views you can see from most places around Bonifacio but interesting to learn about the history, a few things for the kids to interact with to keep them interested. Rude girl eating her lunch on reception particularly unhelpful.
ww bought combined ticket for bastion and aragon staircase. The bastion is not really worth it, nothing interesting to see, only the view from the top. But the view is available also from outside the bastion.
Best view to whole Bonifacio from the other side! (uphill)
Outstanding... To be visited at least once in the life...
We had a glorious day, so the sun always makes somewhere better. Interesting tour and well worth the visit. Historical interest.

Beautiful peacful beach at the end of a long dirt track. Plenty of free parking. I don't know why but the sea seemed a bit warmer here compared to other Corsica beaches (maybe because it was so calm). Super clear water.
Beautiful beach with little to no algae and very nice sand, the water was one of the bluest I've ever seen. The beach is pretty windy so beware stinging sand particles. The road is very rugged, zig zaggy and up and down, so beware small cars and weak tires.
Beautiful beach clear water, the good think is that people are not on top of each other. There is also a restaurant. The access is a bit rocky but worthy going
Most beautiful and peaceful beach in the area with plenty of parking (free). It os at the end of a 10 min dirt road but ok to reach.
Great beach. Not easy to reach, street is partly in very bad condition. We did not liked the beach bar, quite simple but quite high food prices, no toilets for guests.
Very beautiful beach with crystal clear water. No shade. Very windy. Almost no people at the end of june. The road isn't paved, but it's good enough.
Very nice beach without the masses. Little bit more difficult to get to.
Stunning beach with free parking right there and not crowded even in end July. 10/10 recommend to go there. You can also take your dog. There is some food, water sport school and toilet as well. Street to go there is not paved and a bit bumpy but if you drive slow any car should be able to make it.

Great place to visit and fun hike down to the beach. It’s doable on flipflops. Bring something to drink and eat.
Beautiful old lighthouse. It is not possible to go inside, but you can walk around and enjoy the beautiful views. It is possible to go there from Bonifacio - 4 km walk or from nearby parking place - minutes walk.
Great light house with views and walk down to a beach ~20 minutes
great walk with gorgeous panoramic view

Lovely church but clearly there is no money for maintenance - not kept up like all the amazing Spanish churches - a bit sad
