Goated beautiful waterfalls, very nice good walking track by the stream. Not too long and good for families and little kids. Easy parking next to the entrance but costs some money, overall crazy good waterfall would come again surely
So much beauty in one place. In a magnificent green forest lies a beautiful waterfall. Recommended for a visit. The road from the parking lot to the waterfall takes about fifteen minutes but goes along a well-maintained path through the forest and is very pleasant. There are various hiking trails in the area. There are several cafes to stop and refresh yourself.
It is beautiful there and the way to the waterfall is pretty chill. On the weekend were there a few people, but we did go again on a Monday and there was nobody ^^
It's not the biggest waterfall i have seen but it's one of the prettiest and it's easy to find places where the kids can jump around on the rocks and in the water, we are for sure going to come back to this area again. You have to pay for parking but it's not that expensive.
This waterfall is truly the most breathtaking natural wonder I have ever seen. It is the tallest, most powerful, and most mesmerizing sight nature could possibly create. The cascading water sparkles in the sunlight, creating the most magical rainbow views imaginable.
Simple short walk from Central Parking (paid). Charming view of waterfalls. You might be lucky to spot common kingfisher. Please do not litter around.
Beautiful easy hike to the waterfalls that starts just near the parking lot.
Great place to visit airy kids. Suitable for all ages. We had kids 4-8 yo and it was great. Nice views. Recommend to come early because after 11 am there are too many people

Very cool, atmospheric place! Today we just walked. Tomorrow we plan to go skiing through the forest. The beginning of the year is simply magical and I hope the whole of 2025 will be like this! Happy New Year!
We were there in August and the weather was pleasant. There is an open cable car with room for six people, it leaves every half hour. When you get to the top with the cable car, there is the option of doing an experiential walking trail for children called the Fox Trail. There is a restaurant from where the cable car leaves, both below and above.
Well organized and reasonably priced. Limited for beginners but great for the intermediate crowd. A thriving town nearby (5 minute walk) for accommodation and apres ski activities. Considered the top ski resort in the Czech Republic expect crowds at the lift lines during holiday periods.
Nice place in the heart of Czechia. Driving to the location is not easy - it take a long time due the Czech streets are not the best sometimes and of course it’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s a tourist spot you roughly see residents. The town snd villages around only have 1000 citizens. The people are nice and they are prepared to serve tourists. In summer it’s a good place for hiking and enjoying the nature. You can hike the hills around use the cable car to go on the top of the mountains and much more. Nature is good and breath taking. I can imagine that during winter seasons it’s crowed and full with people. It’s a common skiing spot. Hotel prices are upper end - especially in the winter seasons.
Lots of places to visit in the summer some nice walking trails ranging from 13k upto 33k. Don't forget to stop off for goulash and a beer
Very nice ski resort, lovely to go on a hike in the summer, overall a very nice place to go to. The prices are nowhere near what Austria charges. For people who love skiing it is a very good place. Honorable mention to people who love hiking for which it is also a very good place.
Nice ski resort - even during the summer. Absolutely beautiful countryside. Very well maintained mountain pathways with informative signposts about the area and fun activities for the kids jotted along the way. Good public transport around the resort and up the mountains. Good parking within the resort (paid).
The best place for ski in Czechia. I know this place since 1997 and I was there nearly every year. Nice modern resort which is developing every year. They upgrading slopes, lift and all shops bars, generally all infrastructure every year. Town is very nice and cosy. Lots to do there no matter winter or summer. Highly recommend this place

First thing this restaurant has an English speaker which helped us a lot . The food is self is real Czech food, everything that we ordered came from a kitchen who is very familiar with the Czech kitchen. The ribs needs some hot spice but in the end everyone finished the plate, the kid’s of course took schnitzel 😏, the light beer was very tasty and I took a non-alcoholic beer which is matched to the food
Interesting tour, very friendly guide. Not available in our language (Dutch) so we choose German. Guide really made sure to talk slowly so we could understand. On other days they have English guides too, and they have printed out papers with translation to other languages. Very cool to see the craftsman and women work the glass!
Fabulous place to visit. Well organized so easy to find all the featured sites. Glass factory tour very interesting, in Czech and in English. Glass museum beautiful items. Nice restaurant to sit back and enjoy your meal.
Very interesting to see a real life glass blowing workshop, the food is good, beer is very good and the shop is dangerously awesome. The guide should speak a bit slower and try to articulate in English when kids are in the group (it was a little hard to follow her even for adults). They could improve the museum a bit (add some videos of different glass blowing techniques, put up more info in English as well, add years to the exhibits). I got the wrong order at the restaurant and there wasn't even an apology. The ladies toilet was run down an rather dirty...
Worth to visit to experience the living glassworks, followed by locally brewed, very solid beer and tasty classic local food to accompany it. I need to come back for the beer baths some day, the last time unfortunately we had no time for it!
Cool place. Definitely to visit and eat in the restaurant here. It's possible to eat and drink on the balcony inside the active, still working glass factory!
The brewery and a restaurant are fine, delicious food and excellent beer, proffesional staff. Highly recommended
Very tasty craftsman's beer especially light to drink Hutne 8 and tasty Frantisek 12. Same place there's possible to check an exhibition of local glass manufacturing. Recommend to visit this kind place.

While initially skeptical of the price, the attraction turned out to be a fair bit more than just going up a wooden tower. There's a little walk which contains a fun few little challenges. The walk features a lot of little facts and information throughout, with the base of the tower acting as a mini museum about soil and tree biodiversity and whatnot. The gift shop was actually quite alright, better than the conventional one at least. The slide is sold separately from the entry, but it isn't too much. A fun little thing, definitely if with family.
It was a great experience, the more fun part is they also have netted cage where you get in and enjoy, felt like kid again. The ramp is not so step so easy to access with stroller as well. Pros: - Stroller and wheelchair can be taken up easily. - Lot of fun and play items along the way. - Amazing view point. May be during snowfall would be even beautiful. Cons: - no washroom inside you’ve to come out and exit.
Beautiful and very unique place!! There is short trial that guides you through with some educational facts in how they build it. The tower is VERY impressive and has a trampoline and a long slide in it. The restaurant and the playground is super cute as well!
A nice hike that opens up a view of spectacular views of the area. Paid parking on site. There are many other attractions in the area such as cycling, hiking trails, a cable car ride to the top of the mountain, and more.
Such a beautiful place with amazing scenery of the Krkonoše Mountains.🥇♥️ A trip with the whole family👨‍👩‍👦 I highly recommend it and I give 100%👍. We will be happy to come back, thank you❤️
I love the Timber trail - went with a friend and it was very scenic and enjoyable. A good value for money, and not too many people around, despite it being the height of summer.
Such wonderful tower, we were really amazing. One of must see places in Chech republic.
Absolutely fantastic, I was there with my daughters and we enjoyed it. You have to walk to the top, the kids can learn something about nature, on the top you‘ll have an amazing 360 degree view. For 50 Kč you can use a slide, especially for smaller kids an attraction. Afterwards you can visit the restaurant, buy some souvenir and the kids can use a great playground. Fantastic for everybody :)

This is my first time skiing and the team of Bara, Lynka and Veronica made it excellent amidst the delays and last minute change in places for us. The coach Petr was excellent and went an extra mile to cover the time we lost and also with patience trained our children well.
Very good place to be. Over all it is very clean and nice, it was mostly empty (probably because it's July). I recommend buying tickets in advance as it is quite a bit cheaper rather than in place.
Generally, ski pass is not the cheapest, and you have to spend a lot of time queuing. Good for 2- 4 days max. Views depend on the weather, if no snow, your experience will be terrible.
Great views, well organized. In summer, get bike on top, its 8 km of fun on way down! Or you can go for mountain tops trek, about 40 km of breathtaking views and nature. In winter, it's skiers and snowboarding paradise
Skiing at SkiResort Cerna Hora was an absolute blast! It started off a bit rocky, as parking at the bottom was completely full, so we had to park a bit farther away. But the good news was that it was cheaper, and there was a free bus that took us around the slopes. We also had the chance to borrow a sleigh, which was a ton of fun. The highlight of the day was taking the cable car up the mountain. It cost us 170 CZK for the kids and 225 CZK for adults, but it was worth every penny! The ride was surprisingly long, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. The landscapes and scenery were truly breathtaking. The powder snow was an added bonus, and the restaurants up and down the slopes were also great. Although, there were many people lining up at the cable car, which made it a bit crowded inside. We went twice and there were people sneezing, which was a bit concerning. The sledding was also a great experience, but we had to cross the slopes a few times where skiers and snowboarders were crossing. There were a few pits that made the sleigh fly high and hurt our backs, legs, and butts, but it was all part of the fun! In conclusion, skiing at SkiResort Cerna Hora was an absolute blast and we would definitely do it again next year!
Whoever is responsible for the price structure shall be sent back to the elementary school. The prices are high, no surprise, but the price structure is not supporting groups, families, interest/ professional groups - so it is aiming at the absent minded richies who do not require or mind the service. The idea of parking overnight being 2x more expensive than a daily rate certainly encourages long stays. The only plus is the functional Ski bus service.
For this part of Central Europe, very good ski resort for a reasonable price (ca. 30-35€ per day). There are plenty of food stations. If just there is enough snow, mostly well prepared for skiing. Unfortunately, after 9am all parking slots are taken. Then parking is still possible as there are some other parkings a bit further.
One of the best ski resort in Czech. Close to Polish border. Ca.17 km several km of well-prepared ski trails. The best is about 3 km under the lift (pod Lanovką). The Angel lift opens the fastest at the turn of November and December. Very nice route with an even slope of about 1500 m. 4 restaurants .

The 🐒 traill was very good (not The best one we did but very very nice) The bulb slide is a bobsled, Nothing more, nothing less.
A nice attraction in the area for children and not only. Children enjoyed it very much. Paid parking. One round takes about five minutes. There is an adventure park nearby.
Great and compared to other similar rides very long and worth the money
The slides are really fun, there are even 2 small tunnels that go through them. And the track is relatively long compared to other slides we've been on. It's possible for an adult to sit together with a child up to 140 cm tall on the slide. It's possible to control the speed with a stick.
Pretty long ride, can be fast, if you are not scared ☺️ Bit pricy - 120Czk per ride.

Amazing view. You can walk and lie on the grass for a mini picnic. Swimming is also allowed. You can also ride a zip line right there.
The Elbe Dam provides a quick visit point with stunning vistas from several angles. Sadly, when we visited the pathway down the dam was closed but still the bridge and side path views were very pleasant. The parking here is free.
A very impressive point of interest in the area. A dam structure with interesting architecture. The view of the river is simply perfect, relaxing and mesmerizing. There are many attractions in the area such as Omega, cycling trails and more. Free parking on site!
Elbe Dam was built between 1910 and 1914 mainly to protect from floods. It is the highest level of the system of water works on the Elbe. It captures the majority of snow water in the central part of the Krkonoše Mountains . A small hydroelectric power station has been operating in the dam since 1994. Dam is 41.5 m high, 153,5 m long, 55 m width. Water reservoir - 40 ha area, 1. 2 km length. Water seems to be rather very clean. It is a wonderful hiking area, around 3,5 km from the center of the Spindleruv Mlyn. Views are absolutely beautiful. Be careful when crossing the main road. There is not much pavement with cars speeding up. Parking close to the dam is small but free.
A nice piece of nature. A quite, clean river, near the river (lake even, the water flow is extremely slow), there are many picnic spots. The dam has a great view point, and parking was free and accessible. There is a nice zip line activity for children near the bridge. Would definitely recommend to come there with some food and sit near the water on the soft grass.
There was no water in the Dam so it’s ended up like a regular walk. Since we went there on a public holiday there were no shops too. If you are visiting by car there’s a probability that car parking might be full.
Amazing view of the dam. The water is green and full of carp they splash around when you walk across the bridge. On the other side of the dam there is a zipline and abseiling guy. Carparking is easy directly off the road
Good for chill walk around the water reservoir. You have even opportunity to use slide to the other side for reasonable price.

This place is very popular in town during late evening hours. Very nice set up inside. There are a couple of cages up on top for people to dance in. The best thing about this place is the DJ. His playlist was great, did not miss a beat. However, be aware of this place! We were there two nights in a row and the waitress and the bartender tried to rip us off charging us an insane amount of money for beer and their watered-down drinks. They take advantage of the situation when people don’t pay much attention to the bill.
The bar was ok but we were drinking beers at the table and suddenly the staff told us to to leave with no reason! apparently there was someone important locally who wanted our table and that was enough to kick us away! no such thing could happen in a civilized world!
Way too expensive and the people that come here are only drunk eastern European man older than 50. They have a wide range of drinks for an extremely high price. The bar staff is very rude and will not speak any English. There was one very pretty lady working behind the bar though so we had something to look at.
This place is a rip-off! Watch out for the bartenders as they are tricking tourists into double prices for drinks with a cheaty smile on their face. They are doing it on a massive scale!!! Beware or better avoid this space - it’s a disgrace for Spindleruv Mlyn! Don’t feed the thieves.
OK with a group of friends....service could have been a little nicer and courteous....definitely the much smaller ZuZu bar down the street made us feel like our money is appreciated and we are very welcomed guests....a huge difference for people to have fun yet feeling like special guests vs. feeling of being robbed...not cool.
Drinks and beers are quite expensive. Waitress didn't tell us about 10% of mandatory tip for waitresses and asked for more tip. Beside that, bar was almost empty and they didn't allow to sit at more comfortable table. That's not cool.
Children and early birds can 't sleep if you stay in the surrounded hotels. Music is too loud. Maybe better if they turn down the volume after dinner time at 8pm.
I don't recommend Silver Rock music bar at all. We were there yesterday and bartender give us a bill but put on card terminal different cost ( 25% higher then real cost). Place was seems to be ok, but they are simply cheating...

Fun activity for both kids and adults! The route is not easy - my younger child is 1.40 m tall and still struggled to complete some of the challenges along the way. The instructors were available to help kids who didn’t want to continue all the way (using ladders), but generally, you’re expected to complete it on your own. Apart from the initial briefing and at the very end, we didn’t see much of the team. We didn’t need their help, but whenever someone did, they arrived right away. Overall, we had a great time!
Really disappointing experience!! In the past years we've done this type of climbing in several other parcs, in several countries, without any problems. Son (10y) got stuck around the 5th obstacle. The only option was to get down. It was not possible to skip the obstacle or get help from an instructor to cross. Staff only wanted to help him exit, it was not possible to resume somewhere else. This not only happened to our son, but we saw it happen to several others, of different ages, even adult. Staff doesn't do anything to still make it a pleasant experience for climbers who get stuck. Would definitely not recommend this parc, since there are plenty others in the area.
Why only for kids >1.40m ?!? 🤬 It's for kids. So design & build it for kids!

A great place for children who are just starting to ski, with all the necessary services available, including ski rental and refreshments. However, one issue that stood out was the frequent queue jumping by children, which went unnoticed by the staff and other people in the queue. While this may not seem like a major concern, I believe it is important to teach children proper etiquette, such as waiting their turn, from a young age. At the same time, this behaviour is also unfair to others, as the tickets are time-based. They do not based on the number of times the lift can be used. We raised this issue with one of the ski coaches, but instead of understanding our concerns, he insisted that such behavior was acceptable. He even suggested that if a child was persistent enough to push to the front of the queue, it was their right to do so. This attitude was both surprising and disappointing, as it sends the wrong message about fairness and respect for others. It would be helpful if the management could implement measures to promote orderly behavior, such as staff supervision or clear signage near busy areas. While the facilities are excellent, addressing this issue could significantly improve the experience for families.
Beware to those who would dare snowboarding on this learning spot. You're not welcome here.

About the only gig in town . Once you've walked around it thats about it . But I can't fault it's architecture and upkeep . Nice .
Nice chateau with large park. There is a municipal office in the chateau, therefore there is no exhibition inside except few historical trophies in the foyer. Nevertheless, the walk in the park worth it and the views of the chateau are very nice. When you are in the area, spare some time and visit the park. Paid parking is right next to the chateau (10 Czech crowns per hour, i.e. aprox. 0.25E).
Absolutely beautiful park and chatue. The duck pond is peaceful calm and walker’s delight. The park is maintained and good for dog walk too. Nearby city square offers small refreshment and grocery. Nearby church is elegant and to not forget to check the poetic fountain near church. Recommended day trip from Prague.
This castle is inhabiting the city hall/authorities. You can see the inside, but don't expect a museum. Still the whole town is lovely and worth a visit!

Lovely rental place with staff members! Speak perfect english, and very helpful. We rented snowboards, helmets and boots (they offer clothings too). Cost was 700kc/person and its cash only! Thank you!
Huge thanks to instructor Marina for the lessons! In just two sessions, she taught me how to ski confidently – now I can comfortably ride blue slopes, even though I had never skied before. Marina explains everything clearly, gives helpful tips, and makes the learning process really enjoyable. She also gave a snowboarding lesson to my friend, and he was very happy with it too. Also, big thanks to the rental – very customer-oriented and friendly service. They helped pick the right equipment, quickly replaced boots when needed, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely recommend!
Snow Monkey exceeded all expectations both as a school and ski rental. I brought my 5-years old son to the school and we were lucky to get Marina as our teacher. My son didn't ski before and we booked 3 lessons of one hour each just to get him familiar with skiing. The result exceeded all hopes: on the third day my son was able to do 2.7 km blue slope with Marina! The next day we made 4 more blue lines and even one red by ourselves! Marina somehow managed to establish the great base and keep the excitement for 5 years old in just 4 hours. Safety, control and focus are also there! Many thanks for years of skiing ahead of us! P.S. everyone at shop was also friendly, easy going and flexible. Special thanks for the transfer at first day.
I had booked a ski instructor and ski equipment for my three-year-old for three days. They also recommended the duration, which is better for a three-year-old and it was perfect. The instructor was super friendly with my son and he had a lot of fun. We had booked this place since they were the few ones which seemed flexible as per their terms and conditions. I could also book spontaneously a session for myself for snowboarding and even that was amazing. Regarding the service, they also had a bus that took us to the slopes and later even back to Parking, where we had parked our car. All the staff were very, very friendly and always willing to help. I can highly recommend it.
Great staff and great equipment. Everything was excellent we’ve rent ski and snowboard equipment and everything was in great condition. We also had 3 ski lessons with Ruda the instructor which was very patient and professional. Super recommended!
Had a great skiing experience! High-quality and comfortable equipment, a great guide named Philip, who explained very well and was very fun with him. Within a day, I already went down the whole mountain by myself 3 times and went down half of it dozens of times 10/10 thank you so much
We had an amazing time learning snowboarding from Jitka and Vojta in March 2023. They were both patient and knowledgeable instructors who made the learning process safe and enjoyable. For me, it was crucial to hand over my son in responsible hands while learning snowboarding separately! Jitka taught my son personally and Vojta did same for me. After 6 hours of lessons, we feel quite comfortable on the slopes of Krkonoše (Giant Mountains)! Thanks a lot, school Snow Monkey, for providing good equipment, fair prices for rent and lessons, and fast responses to E-mails!
Excellent service. Rent all the equipment to ski for three days. Good price, they pick you up when you want from the tracks in the parking lot and leave you there. They are always waiting if you need anything, especially Tomás, patient, kind and smiling all the time. If you are in Spindleruv, do not hesitate to rent the equipment with them. In addition to having qualified teachers if you want to take classes by the hour.

Good and affordable parking, but only available as a full-day rate - no hourly options.
Parking automat does not accept Visa card, on the lower prking only coins accepted and was broken... but is cheep - 70 czk all day. No any sign where is exit, I had to ask people how to leave parking. After exit there is a hill where was ice on the road so i couldn't ride on. I have only front wheel drve and I had to ask people to push my car to get this hill. Is it too expensive to put somw sand or salt on this hill??? I would not recomend this parking for cars without 4 wheel drive when the snow is on the road.
Nice place for winter sports ski, boards, etc Surely again, thanks

(Translated by Google) A very spacious parking lot, with parking spaces on 3 levels (there are 2 entrances, the upper one has 2 entry lanes). During the winter season, the parking lot fills up quite quickly. After hours 10 you may have trouble finding a free place. Simple ticket system, but note - payment only by card! Price: CZK 130 for each started day. The photo shows the parking lot at 8 a.m. - the upper level is full, the middle level is a few cars, and the lower level (not visible in the photo) is practically empty.

Monopoly on parking because you can't park anywhere else in the village. City tax, spending on accommodation, local restaurants and shops is not enough, come by bus that runs once a day ✌️ (Original) Ziskuchtivý majitelé rejžují co to jde. Chceš si jet nakoupit do vedlejší vesnice? Zaplať znovu 130kč. Monopol na parkování protože jinde v obci nezaparkujete. Městská daň, útrata v ubytování, místních restauracích a obchodech nestačí, přijeď si třeba autobusem co jede jednou za den ✌️
