Top 50 things to do and attractions in Krkonose National Park

A must in terms of hike in the Czech Republic, very well signaled and prepared routes on both sides, recommend to do it in warmer season. I did it in winter and it was very tough compared to summer. The village (Pec pod Sněžkou) under the mountain it's the perfect place to stay for 1-2 nights, as the hiking routes basically starts from it

The highest peak in Czech- Bohemia, Sněžka 1603m s/l where it borders Poland. Nice hike from the Polish side of the Silesian Hut ⛰️ 😉👍

We visited on a foggy day, the cablecar was even closed half way to the mountain top due to strong winds, so we hiked there. The path is not very long, some 6km in total. Expect lots of steep stairs and some hard ice, even in the Spring time. Even though, we couldn't see much, view wise, we still enjoyed the short adventure. Make sure to bring warm clothing... It felt like - 10 at the top due to the strong winds. The nearby parking is paid and around 1km away from the cable car station but there is a nice side trail following the water stream.

Beautiful views, quite hard climb but suitable for begginners, you can see everywhere around either polish and chech side. From Czech side you can take lift car from Pec pod sniezkou which takes you directly to the top. Small restaurant on the top which is usually crowded so better be prepare having own food and drinks.

This trip was unplanned, so the weather conditions were not in my favor, and it was difficult to enjoy the scenery. However, this trip was a great risky adventure that will remain in my memory for a long time. An incredible place for a winter vacation.

Hey everyone...Is the highest mountain of the Czech Republic (1603 meters 5260 feet) the ascent is possible from the Czech or Polish side....I crossed the Polish side...in the city of Karpaz at the municipal parking lot no. 7... .it's two and a half hours from the parking lot (or you can use the cable car that takes you under the hut and then it's only about an hour's journey) the level of difficulty is easy to medium... in winter, be careful at the top, it can be minus 20 and a strong wind that I experienced firsthand....

The hike to the top of Medwiedin takes about an hour. At the summit, there is a small playground and a restaurant making it a great spot to relax after the climb.

Basically a very okay lift and mountain area with a big playground for children. But once you are on top, you cannot take the lift down to Spindler Mühle whenever you want. Sometimes you need to wait for up to one hour before you are allowed to take the lift. Take care if you go there with little children!!!

Must see in Spindleruv Mlyn. Plan at least 7-8 hours hiking time once you hit on Medvedin

I am amazed that this tiny water hole will become a big river crossing czechia and germany to the north sea. But I was hoping there is a drinking fountain , to try the fresh water from the spring but there is none, and the water in the hole is not that clean.

Very busy but amazing place. Easily accessible (around 2 km) by taking a bus to Zlate Navrsi. We took a bus from Harrachov but there were other buses, e.g. from Rokytnice. On the was to Pramen Labe you can stop for a light food at Labska Bouda.

Nice walk from Vrbatova bouda to the Labe spring. Lots of people. Worth a visit, it's a must see in Krkonoše. Reserve all day to walk the whole track.

It was a must for us as we are riding along Elbe and this is the start. But the hike around is just great. However, you cannot ride directly to the spring. You need to walk approximately 1.5 km on foot. On the other hand, you can leave your bike locked and hidden at Labská cottage - just ask for the keys in the restaurant.

Symbolic spring of Labe near the real 300 m far away one. There are even erbs of the important cities Labe flows through on its almost 1,200 km long journey to the Northern Sea.

Not much to see, unless you are crazy about river sources. There is an artificial little pond, which is officially the source, and a stone wall with coats of arms of towns and cities that Elbe goes through...

Great area to start hikes. Several paths take you to Snezka and other local mountains. Good service although it is price and can be busy during summer peak season. Worth to check trekking maps on mapy.cz - follow organised and well marked path. Various sets of difficulty.

Cute town. Make sure you visit the monkey park. Your arms will be sore. Takes about 30 to 45 minutes.

A beautiful place for hiking or skiing. If you want to explore the mountains, install the map.cz application. Add the time you have to walk using the slider and the possible routes will be displayed. The car can be left in the nearby parking P1, where the whole day costs 150CZK.

So much beauty in one place. In a magnificent green forest lies a beautiful waterfall. Recommended for a visit. The road from the parking lot to the waterfall takes about fifteen minutes but goes along a well-maintained path through the forest and is very pleasant. There are various hiking trails in the area. There are several cafes to stop and refresh yourself.

It is beautiful there and the way to the waterfall is pretty chill. On the weekend were there a few people, but we did go again on a Monday and there was nobody ^^

It's not the biggest waterfall i have seen but it's one of the prettiest and it's easy to find places where the kids can jump around on the rocks and in the water, we are for sure going to come back to this area again. You have to pay for parking but it's not that expensive.

This waterfall is truly the most breathtaking natural wonder I have ever seen. It is the tallest, most powerful, and most mesmerizing sight nature could possibly create. The cascading water sparkles in the sunlight, creating the most magical rainbow views imaginable.

Simple short walk from Central Parking (paid). Charming view of waterfalls. You might be lucky to spot common kingfisher. Please do not litter around.

Great place to visit airy kids. Suitable for all ages. We had kids 4-8 yo and it was great. Nice views. Recommend to come early because after 11 am there are too many people

Lovely place very easily accessible from downhill locations and not so easily from uphill ones.

Very nice experience in the nature. There is a pub around with some homemade products. You can stay there and have a good time. Highly recommended.

Great waterfall, with very easy access. Must pay for access, but not much. Strongly advise to try the cheese on the grill by the car park

Great place and it is not too hard to get to. The way to the waterfall is along a mountain river. Very pleasant walk. As soon as you enter the forest you call feel and smell the air is different - good place to go to in the summer to rest when it's hot. Please do remember to take good strong shoes with you and some cash / debit card to pay for the entrance to the National Park (9zl per person as of 2023). We were surprised that in the middle of the forest there is even a "hidden" small shop/restaurant close to the waterfall so if you want to have something to drink or eat - it is there for you.

Stunning place. Very easy access from the road so it's perfect place for the families with the small children and for the old people. The waterfall is beautiful. Behind the waterfall is the forest with the public footpath and you can walk straight to Szklarska Poręba. I can highly recommend.

Very nice (and easy) walk to the waterfall. You can keep going if you want. You can make it with the stroller which is great for family with little kids. It wasn’t that busy but we visited during the weekday.

It was a nice easy walk to the waterfall. And really easy to pay the park entrance fee. There is a QR code that you can scan at the beginning of the trail. The waterfall is beautiful and the sounds of the water are so peaceful.

It was a great experience, the more fun part is they also have netted cage where you get in and enjoy, felt like kid again. The ramp is not so step so easy to access with stroller as well. Pros: - Stroller and wheelchair can be taken up easily. - Lot of fun and play items along the way. - Amazing view point. May be during snowfall would be even beautiful. Cons: - no washroom inside you’ve to come out and exit.

Beautiful and very unique place!! There is short trial that guides you through with some educational facts in how they build it. The tower is VERY impressive and has a trampoline and a long slide in it. The restaurant and the playground is super cute as well!

A nice hike that opens up a view of spectacular views of the area. Paid parking on site. There are many other attractions in the area such as cycling, hiking trails, a cable car ride to the top of the mountain, and more.

I love the Timber trail - went with a friend and it was very scenic and enjoyable. A good value for money, and not too many people around, despite it being the height of summer.

Such wonderful tower, we were really amazing. One of must see places in Chech republic.

Absolutely fantastic, I was there with my daughters and we enjoyed it. You have to walk to the top, the kids can learn something about nature, on the top you‘ll have an amazing 360 degree view. For 50 Kč you can use a slide, especially for smaller kids an attraction. Afterwards you can visit the restaurant, buy some souvenir and the kids can use a great playground. Fantastic for everybody :)

I was very surprised to find this kind of museum in this kind of place, and it was pretty nice! I felt myself as a kid again and the exhibition is made by people who are in love with their job, thank you guys attaching happy Lego husbando Jpeg x)

Very impressive exhibition of interactive lego scenes that are setup with lighting, music and sound effects. These are like the scenes you see in Lego advertisements that almost no one builds in real life. It is interactive in the in most of the exhibits you can press a button or joystick that you’d typically see in a model train museum. There are frames on the wall showcasing how legos have changed over the years and they also have many of the massive legos like the Titanic, Millenium Falcon and others. I didn’t see the Star Wars ATAT robot. There’s a small play area which didn’t gave many legos to play with and only had space for about 5 kids to play. Important to note - all the exhibits are behind glass like an art museum but you can get close to everything. This multi floor exhibit has many rooms on each floor. The kids will love it. Mine spent 1 hour on the exhibits and 1 hour playing. They’d stay longer but it was the afternoon already and lunch had yet to be had, so to avoid the, you know, disaster, we left to eat. There were a few groups in there but there was no wait and we didn’t have to wait to see any exhibits. Warning - legos are for sale at the entry. And you know your kids will want to buy EVERYTHING.

This is an incredible place. It’s a must-visit for every Lego fan and everyone who kept the child within. You can spend hours here and find some new lovingly detail. I found so many memories to my childhood. Highly recommended!

This place was lit. The Lego museum was good to see how Lego has evolved from the 70's to now. Kids would definitely love this place. And then there was the video games museum. I can't explain the feeling I had when I was walking in between all those old games and consoles. Super Mario, tanks, tekken, road rash and price of Persia and lots of other games you could play just like you did 20 years ago. Takes you back

Excellent. I was not expecting such a good little museum! Great displays, a lot of attention and small details, and the adjoining Video Console museum was excellent as well with a brilliant collection and lots of classic playable games. I suggest a visit to anyone!

Great hike to Szrenica after the waterfall! After visiting the waterfall, you can continue the trail toward Szrenica mountain. Along the way, there’s a hut where you can rest—but keep in mind they accept cash only. The hike is beautiful, and reaching the top is totally rewarding with amazing views!

The walk up the mountain was alright, not very tiring. Based on the path you take (from the city) the forest path might be under construction

Pretty cool place. Cool hike from szklarska poreba. Nice views but nothing special in comparison to tatra mountains. Food at the hostel is really good. You can take ropeway either roundtrip or one way.

Easy trail, can fit anybody. Nice view of the river. Parking cost 50kr per 12h.

We've had a great tour through these caves under the guidance of a very friendly girl. She immediately noticed that we were foreign and brought us a tour guide device so that we could follow the tour in our mother-language. The temperature inside was lovely, if you ask me. But then, I like a low temperature in general. For people that are cold easily it's advisable to take a vest and perhaps wear long jeans. If you're in the region, this is a nice place to visit.

It's worth visiting if you're in the area. But otherwise there are better tourist spots. Bring a hoodie or jacket since it's around 7-9 celsius inside.

Nice caves but not extremely impressive. Automated guide so not very personal. Book in advance as gets very busy.

Great visit. The caves are very accessible because of the good pathways. You dont have to be scared, however bring a sweater or coat because it's 8 degrees Celsius in there. The tour lasts 40 minutes and we'll guided.

The caves are amazing and the surrounding area is very nice and quiet as well. Suitable for bigger groups too, as an outdoor/hiking activity. Tickets can easily be bought at the location, tours are scheduled beforehand, you will need to wait if you missed your window. There are no tours in English which might be a downside. Upon request they can provide an audio device in English, but at times it doesn't match and it is a bit difficult to follow. They instruct that there numbers to press as you advance, but not really. The Czech tour guy seemed pretty nice, he was joking and had a good story to tell (I assume O_o).

For us, it was a 4 hours trip to get there, to see some big rocks on each other with nice view. The view was the best part, rest was nothing special.

Great boulder, very great and majestic. If you know what you are doing or you are crazy or both, you can climb on top of it and enjoy slightly better views. The rock is very good quality, very sturdy, don't bang your head at it!

Great place to visit on the way to the highest peak!

Well... You get expensive food and drinks for which you pay only by cash and it may still happen your order will be forgotten. After reminder, you will get a bad look and your order. This was not enough, so because the place was closing in 30 minutes, they turned off the lights and started vacuuming so that you could not hear anything - the place was still full of guests. Can not recommend at all.

Top meals for very good prices, restaurant is selfservice. Kind staff:)

After a nice walk we arrived at the restaurant. We had a quite traditional meal which was lovely. We paired the meals with some beers and paid 700kr for 4 people which we, coming from Western Europe, seemed pretty cheap. The view is breathtaking although sitting outside can be a bit frisky when there is not a lot of sun and a decent wind.

They are open, they have a nice selection of drinks and normal Czech meals that you can expect in a place like this, we had a nice birrell and pancakes that were delicious, bring a windbreaker through as the outdoor seating did get a bit chilly. Overall the staff were nice and the food was good.

Good beer, nice outdoor sitting. We haven't tried food though, because we wanted to go to Labská bouda - what a terrible mistake! We should have stayed here instead. One star down due to missing card payments.

Good blue slopes for kids and learners. Didn't enjoy any level of slopes on snowboard, possibly it's going to be better on skies. It may be because of poor weather conditions, but no snowblowers were running to improve the slopes...on Saturday. Decent dining places, pretty packed tho. Parking spots are filled by about 10am. Upside is the skipas is cheaper of all the resorts in the area.

Our favourite ski resort in Krkonose for weekend skiing. Nice wide slope for small kids and beginners in upper part of Bubakov and red trail for advanced skiers from Zaly hill. Free parking and wide choice of reastaurants and bistros.

Several great slopes, red and blue. Black is pretty short and runs into a rather sharp red. Connects with Bubakov and ski passes are usable at both. Ski school for kids are great at both Herlikovice and Bubakov.

I really enjoyed this ski region. Good, well-kept tracks, nice pubs and rest areas.

Disappointing coloring system of the slopes. You might start with a blue and on the way it gets red quite often. Which of course is not nice experience for people that are trying to learn. On top of that the worst part is that regardless what color you are gonna pick. In the end it gets quite challenging. Don't know how Czech mountains are but I have never experienced such approach for novice skiers.

Herlikovice Bubákov, Žalý

Medium sized friendly ski resort. There is about 5 different slopes you can go on in winter. In the summer this is a good starting point for many walk in Krkonoše. The ski lift operates in summer as well (every hour) so you can save yourself a treck up the hill and get straight to the tops to carry on with your walks in direction of Špindlerův Mlýn or Benecko just to name the most obvious options. In August you can find bilberies in the woodlands and the mushroom season is also starting around now (depending on the weather!). The resort is also very near the lovely town of Vrchlabi which has beautiful historic centre with a small chateau and a park. There is many B'n'B s around - be sure to make a booking in winter, summer is a lot less busy. I can personally recommend Penzion 444 in Herlikovice where I have stayed many times! They also have a Penzion 222 nearer the town centre if that is your thing!

A unique place combining a museum, shop and a production facility in one place. Definitely agree for the workshop and do your ornament! Definitely worth visiting with children and adults who love Christmas. However it’s also about the glass ornaments industry in general. Will take up to 3 hours

I would certainly recommend it to nearly anyone. The shop, products and workshop are lovely and the tour is very eye opening. I understand that they want and need to keep the traditional procedures handmade. However, some of the procedures like inside silvering and outside coloring are still being done in workshops full of possibly toxic fumes with gloves being the only visible health protection - Maybe in the 21st century the company should invest in a fume extraction/box with a fume extraction or any other health protection technique..

Booking the tour online was assesible and possible on very short notice. The tour guide was very nice and even provided additional information in english just for us, even though we joined a mostly chezch tour group. So she switched between chezch and english. One felt very welcomed and cozy. The possibility to assemble your own ornament (comes for a cost) was charming. Very near was a little kiosk with good coffee, candy/ sweets and some cute chezch products. Great place to unwind after the tour.

The only place in the world where these glass decorations are made. Still using the original techniques. Visit the manufacture, visit the shop, build your own decoration.

Cozy shop with traditional Christmas decorations. There is a wide range, different shapes, colours and sizes, gift packages, payment by card, staff speaks English. Pay a visit if you want a good souvenir for friends or yourself from Czech Republic!

Definitely worth a visit. Interesting to learn about the history and to see it preserved to 21st century. It's also interesting to see how beautiful objects can be made in unhealthy dirty conditions for the workers. That's what real handmade really means.

View point on top of Zaly. Entrance fee is small and view is wonderful. There is a restaurant near the building. I suggest to come observe the picturesque landscape of Krkonose.

Great look out. Also, not so pricey (40CZK/adult in July 2020). There is a restaurant just below the tower. The only downside is the number of people there - it usually gets quite crowded, including the hikes in the tower neighborhood.

It's huge, many areas have lights for darker evenings . Always go by 1 pm to make the most of your time as everything closes by 4 pm in winters

Harrachov as whole offers very poor choice for entertainment at too high of the price - been there twice and I still cannot recommend this place to anyone !

Extremely long lines for the lift

The good experience was easily disrupt by a sequence of important mistakes from one staff (11h20, pay booth 2, 2018-01-14, elevator from city centre). My card had 15 points and I wanted to charge with 30 points. The employee changed the card and after I asked for my 15 points she said they were transferred (wish did not happen). Plus she was trying to give me change 50CZK shorter. Not cool and won't be able to enjoy the rest of ski rental time. :(

No idea what the skiing is like here but the french fries/chips were 150czk!? Although they would have to drive everything up the hill to make it so this is kind of expected, i guess....but even in australia, i have never paid this price for basic fries. Maybe just cut your losses, stay away from the fries and order something more substantial. The playground and view is great. Many walking tracks here. Worth seeing it in the off season when there is not 1,000,000 people there

A bit pricy But the location is wow

Tickets are way to expensive for 3 slopes. Also no maintenance during the day and after 15:00 it's a pain to get down. They only offer day tickets so they probably don't care if you're still going after 15:00. Also you need an online account that needs way to much personal information and a creditcard to get a normal price pass. Or pay 400kc more.... There is even a guy standing at the machines to prevent people from going to the cashier's. They also send you 3 barcodes that doesn't work, to pick up your skipas. People where continues scanning the wrong barcode, the machine didn't tell you it was the wrong code so people just kept trying and trying. Worst thing people had to do for a skipas ever. Also skipas in France is just as expensive. +45€ but you get 100+ more km of piste.

Good spot

A lot of Lego sets both new and older ones collected by a passionate. Some sets are older than me (>37y) so it is also very interesting to see state of art from that time. Playground for children where they can build up some constructions from loose bricks is another advantage. Only temperature inside the room should be a bit lower to grant some more comfort.

A really small museum and definitely not worth the entrance fee, not cheap at all. We finished seeing everything in barely 15 minutes. We went here because my daughter really loves Lego but she was really disappointed. Compensation was the Lego Museum in Prague which we visited a week later.

It doesn’t worth the price , very small collection here on Spyndl just cheating ! Written 1 km of the space it is t. Even 100 meters !

The small shop attached to the museum has an excellent selection of LEGO sets for sale, including a few collectables that are no longer being produced, and collectable minifigs out of their packaging (so no more guessing). Prices seemed to be only 5-10% above list, not surprising given the location. Staff were friendly.

Kids really like it. It surprised me because there is only an exhibition and separate room with bricks to build. After all they have Lego at home but it looks like better fun is after hiking.

This does not really deserve the name „Museum“. It’s basically a Lego store with a corner with building blocks and has some models on display, but nothing that you cannot also buy in the shops. I’ll give it 2 stars just because my kids did have fun playing there.

Quite big ski resort. Ski pass isn't that cheap in the winter season. There are plenty of people close to the weekends. Good option for ski/snowboarding for a 3- 4 days maximum. In the summer, you can go for a hike and see much more in the Karkonosze National Park.

Great for kids! Lift was quite expensive but view was amazing and it had a lot of children’s play stuff at the top and a child-friendly restroom

A beautiful mountain peek with a lovely view, a great place to hike or take the cable car for the lazier ones ;). You can borrow a scooter to get down, take the cable car or just hike down on foot. Overall a very nice mountain.

The worst experience i have ever been through. We went on the scooter ride the 4 of us expecting an amazing experience. First of all when we paid for the scooter they never told us that we also need to pay the exact amount of money for the lift to get to the top, but whatever that wasn’t even the big issue. When we got to the top the people their screamed at us for not understanding their language and what they wanted to say. We went on to start the ride and had no clue which way to go because 1. The instructor barely knew any english 2. we didn’t think it would be that hard to figure out if they have instructors that only speak in whatever their language is called. We finally found someone that knew some english and she was really nice (she wasn’t from the park) and pointed us to the right direction. Finally!! We get going the view when we were able to see it was beautiful, but and thats a huge a$$ but, the map was so old and confusing the pictures didn’t match the actual roads and we got lost so many times we ended up on the high way at the absolute wrong place in a foreign country. When we got back finally after climbing our way down from the main road with the scooter into their town we were so upset not one from the staff asked us how it went how are we feeling if it was any good. They got their money and made their bank which seems is the whole point here. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND I WILL NEVER SEND ANYONE I KNOW AND LOVE HERE!!!!!!!!! I promise im not being dramatic (maybe a tiny bit but still)

We went there with small kids. It was fine, but i was a little bit disappointed with diligence of the staff. the slide was wet and trampoline too. Unfortunately the lady did not tell us and it is not that easy to buy immediately new socks.

Kids park ski school looks nice, unfortunately quality of lectors is very low. They do not take much effort to teach your kid something new.

It’s a tourist spot you roughly see residents. The town snd villages around only have 1000 citizens. The people are nice and they are prepared to serve tourists. In summer it’s a good place for hiking and enjoying the nature. You can hike the hills around use the cable car to go on the top of the mountains and much more. Nature is good and breath taking. I can imagine that during winter seasons it’s crowed and full with people. It’s a common skiing spot. Hotel prices are upper end - especially in the winter seasons.

Lots of places to visit in the summer some nice walking trails ranging from 13k upto 33k. Don't forget to stop off for goulash and a beer

Skiing at SkiResort Cerna Hora was an absolute blast! It started off a bit rocky, as parking at the bottom was completely full, so we had to park a bit farther away. But the good news was that it was cheaper, and there was a free bus that took us around the slopes. We also had the chance to borrow a sleigh, which was a ton of fun. The highlight of the day was taking the cable car up the mountain. It cost us 170 CZK for the kids and 225 CZK for adults, but it was worth every penny! The ride was surprisingly long, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. The landscapes and scenery were truly breathtaking. The powder snow was an added bonus, and the restaurants up and down the slopes were also great. Although, there were many people lining up at the cable car, which made it a bit crowded inside. We went twice and there were people sneezing, which was a bit concerning. The sledding was also a great experience, but we had to cross the slopes a few times where skiers and snowboarders were crossing. There were a few pits that made the sleigh fly high and hurt our backs, legs, and butts, but it was all part of the fun! In conclusion, skiing at SkiResort Cerna Hora was an absolute blast and we would definitely do it again next year!

Whoever is responsible for the price structure shall be sent back to the elementary school. The prices are high, no surprise, but the price structure is not supporting groups, families, interest/ professional groups - so it is aiming at the absent minded richies who do not require or mind the service. The idea of parking overnight being 2x more expensive than a daily rate certainly encourages long stays. The only plus is the functional Ski bus service.

For this part of Central Europe, very good ski resort for a reasonable price (ca. 30-35€ per day). There are plenty of food stations. If just there is enough snow, mostly well prepared for skiing. Unfortunately, after 9am all parking slots are taken. Then parking is still possible as there are some other parkings a bit further.

The Angel lift opens the fastest at the turn of November and December. Very nice route with an even slope of about 1500 m. 4 restaurants .

The Elbe Dam provides a quick visit point with stunning vistas from several angles. Sadly, when we visited the pathway down the dam was closed but still the bridge and side path views were very pleasant. The parking here is free.

Elbe Dam was built between 1910 and 1914 mainly to protect from floods. It is the highest level of the system of water works on the Elbe. It captures the majority of snow water in the central part of the Krkonoše Mountains . A small hydroelectric power station has been operating in the dam since 1994. Dam is 41.5 m high, 153,5 m long, 55 m width. Water reservoir - 40 ha area, 1. 2 km length. Water seems to be rather very clean. It is a wonderful hiking area, around 3,5 km from the center of the Spindleruv Mlyn. Views are absolutely beautiful. Be careful when crossing the main road. There is not much pavement with cars speeding up. Parking close to the dam is small but free.

A nice piece of nature. A quite, clean river, near the river (lake even, the water flow is extremely slow), there are many picnic spots. The dam has a great view point, and parking was free and accessible. There is a nice zip line activity for children near the bridge. Would definitely recommend to come there with some food and sit near the water on the soft grass.

There was no water in the Dam so it’s ended up like a regular walk. Since we went there on a public holiday there were no shops too. If you are visiting by car there’s a probability that car parking might be full.

Really disappointing experience!! In the past years we've done this type of climbing in several other parcs, in several countries, without any problems. Son (10y) got stuck around the 5th obstacle. The only option was to get down. It was not possible to skip the obstacle or get help from an instructor to cross. Staff only wanted to help him exit, it was not possible to resume somewhere else. This not only happened to our son, but we saw it happen to several others, of different ages, even adult. Staff doesn't do anything to still make it a pleasant experience for climbers who get stuck. However, one issue that stood out was the frequent queue jumping by children, which went unnoticed by the staff and other people in the queue. While this may not seem like a major concern, I believe it is important to teach children proper etiquette, such as waiting their turn, from a young age. At the same time, this behaviour is also unfair to others, as the tickets are time-based. They do not based on the number of times the lift can be used. We raised this issue with one of the ski coaches, but instead of understanding our concerns, he insisted that such behavior was acceptable. He even suggested that if a child was persistent enough to push to the front of the queue, it was their right to do so. This attitude was both surprising and disappointing, as it sends the wrong message about fairness and respect for others. It would be helpful if the management could implement measures to promote orderly behavior, such as staff supervision or clear signage near busy areas. While the facilities are excellent, addressing this issue could significantly improve the experience for families.

Absolutely beautiful park and chatue. The duck pond is peaceful calm and walker’s delight. The park is maintained and good for dog walk too. Nearby city square offers small refreshment and grocery. Nearby church is elegant and to not forget to check the poetic fountain near church. Recommended day trip from Prague.

If you are going to visit this museum you have to do the tour in the mine. They have an audio tour (NL/BE, DE, PL) for people who dont speak czech. We had to wait 2 hours before they started. In the mean time we walked to the nearby waterfall. The friendly girl at the reception spoke English wich was very helpful. Great visit!
