It’s actually the best ski resort in the world. Over 1200km of excellent slopes, totally no queues to the lifts. I love this place!!!

Easy hike to the waterfall. I would recommend starting at one of the lifts (you can reach the waterfall from both directions). We started at the cafeteria by the road but had to walk via busy MTB track where hikers are not allowed. The path leads directly to the waterfall. There is an area with picnic tables, fresh water and wc at the base. To reach the top you will have to cross water. I just took off my shoes and carried my child on hands, did not walk on rocks but in pebbles in water. If scared, take a stick for balance. Nice, very easy climb, a small adventure for kids :)

Piz Boe offers a fantastic trekking experience 🏔 I climbed it in August during a weather breakdown 🌡, after an intensive snowfall ❄️ that lasted a full day. We started our trekking from Terrazza delle Dolomiti ⭐️, a wonderful viewpoint accessible via cable car 🚡 from Passo Pordoi, even in strong gusts of wind. From the top station, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the Rifugio Forcella Pordoi 🏠, where one can bolster their forces with a cup of very aromatic coffee ☕️ or something to eat. Continuing from the Rifugio, it should take you at most 1,5 hours 🕜 to reach the top of Piz Boe 🚩. The trail isn't always visible under the snow, so I recommend using a sport watch ⌚️ or a map on your phone 📱 for navigation. At some places, one can sink into the snow up to their waist! Choose your path carefully 👣. The climb to the top is quite easy 👌. There are even some metal chains for extra security, but they are also doing well as trail marks 👍 The whole round-trip should take around 3,5 hours (2 hours up, 1,5 down) in winter conditions 🌨. We made stops in Rifugio Forcella and at the top of Piz Boe, which added an extra hour ⏳️ to the trip. We managed to get to the cable car around 16:30, which was perfect. It's absolutely doable if you start at midday 💪

Great skischool. We are dutch and our 9-year old loved skiing with her international group of 6 kids in total and teacher Aaron who is very friendly and calm. Our daughter told us he is also very funny and we saw he really cared about the kids. If we needed some info, about the race for example, Aaron provided us with the right info immediately. We loved the fact that the group was small and that they went skiing throughout all Alta Badia, they went to fun parks and they even went somewhere to see animals. They had a great lunch everyday for €13. They skied all kinds of slopes and on the last day of our holiday, when we skied together with our daughter on Saturday, we saw a big improvement of skiing skills and courage. The race was organized perfectly, the kids did a test run and the run itself in the morning on Thursday, after that there was a prize ceremony for the group immediately. This was the best we experienced; no waiting inside a room or restaurant that’s too crowded with loud noise; just a great and fast open air ceremony so we as parents could still ski the rest of the day. They all got a real competition cup, they could keep their race vest and got a lovely diploma at Friday. 👌 Our daughter loved it so much, we will probably will be back next year while we normally are skiing nomads, we saw a lot of different ski resorts. But Alta Badia, Corvara and the ski school are too great not to go back to. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

I really enjoyed my ski lessons with Daniel. He helped me improve my technique and has a great sense of humour. Also, the school has a small bistro, ideal for a quick meal or drink while skiing. Nice views.

Fantastic stay at Residence Rottonara, amazing views from the balcony. Very clean apartment, with a well equipped kitchen. Staff were lovely and friendly.
