Where to eat: the 30 best restaurants in Corvara in Badia

The food was very disappointing for a Michelin recommendation. Most dishes we ordered (pasta, risotto) were mild and tasteless. The scenery is beautiful and service was very good, but we came there for great dining experience.

In a stunning location, this refuge should be on everyone's to-do list. Upstairs is a cafe serving snacks and drinks. A row of deckchairs provides somewhere to enjoy the sun. Downstairs is a wonderful restaurant with many Michelin recognitions. It is very popular, and advisable to book especially if you want to sit outside. We arrived by chance and did not have a booking but were lucky enough to be given a table outside. The service was excellent, and very friendly. Menu was great and although more expensive than some other refuges, you can see why when the food is delivered. We enjoyed it so much we have reserved a table for tomorrow lunch. I highly recommend and will definitely look forward to more visits.

What a stunning place. Absolutely superb views across the Dolomites. The food was excellent really enjoyed the dumplings. World class wine list and we went local with two stunning wines from alto Adige. The staff were all friendly and clearly proud of their produce. Looking forward to our next visit very soon.

The beef tartare, polenta, lobster paccheri, col alt salad, T-bone and the desserts were all amazing, we will be back!

Very nice cottage Col Alt located at an altitude of 2000 meters right next to the cable car number 1 leading from the village of Corvara to the resort of Alta Badia. The cottage provides everything what tourists need - drinks and food. There is a bar, restaurant, toilets, huge terrace with a lot of seats. There is also a wonderful view from this place to the whole resort Alta Badia and the neerby villages of Campolongo, Colfosco and La Villa.

What an incredible place to take your lunch. The views, the food and most of all the staff and the people... There are NO negatives!!!

Great atmosphere and had one of the best old fashioned of my life here with a negroni reduction as their own take on the classic. Also epic bao bun. Cocktails here are not to be missed! Had two cocktails and a bao bun for a little over €40 euro, worth the price.

Best Place in Alta Badia. Don’t even try not to have a drink here. Andrea and his team are the best.

Wine is good, but we have been here 2 times and both times they charged 15 instead of 7 euro per glass. I suspect it's on purpose.

Love it!! Every year when we are enjoying our holiday in Badia, we visit this lovely cozy cocktailbar. The staff is very friendly and make the most delicious cocktails. They serve these always together with some Italian snacks. Also, the alcohol free cocktails are very amazing. I'd really recommend this place if you visit the area.

The service was impressively fast; we got our order very quickly. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a wonderful balance of flavors, and the pasta was just as delightful. We also tried the tiramisu dessert, which was amazing and the perfect end to our meal. Everyone goes here, no reservations, it is worth coming and waiting a bit. Great pizza at good prices, and the South Tyrolean food was terrific. A mix of alpine Austro-German and Italian (butter instead of olive oil, often). Get one of the buffalina pizzas for sure. We also had an appetizer of potato “leaves” (a sort of puff pastry) stuffed, served with tangy sauerkraut and lingonberries, then for the main we had polenta with braised mushrooms in a rich liquor and a freshly made, unprocessed sausage patty.

Big pizza menu of which are handmade but also great Pasta dishes of which are avaliable in small or large which is amazing. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area

Very nice place, the staff is professional as the the service. They pour the drink, change the bread bad let without asking and the portion are generous. They explain every dish, the butter and the bread is homemade, the quality of the food is excellent as the presentation! You can book easily online the table. My photo doesn’t represent enough the quality of the food but I 100% recommend! Price a bit high but overall I think in line with the place.

Quite possibly the best restaurant we ate in our Dolomites holiday. This restaurant is underground and built with beams and wood. The space is warm, intimate, and cozy. The starter cheese plate was fantastic with a varied selection. The risotto was just perfect and fresh. Fabulous wine selection and they pour at the table so you have a chance to taste before buying. Very friendly and helpful staff.

One of the best rib eye steaks I’ve had in a very long time. Also, get the apple fritters!

I'll be coming back here every time I'm in the area. I advise booking a day or two ahead as we couldn't get a table the first time we tried. Came with family and everyone LOVED their meals. Desserts were great too, especially the chocolate cake. The strudel was good but not the best I've had in the area (I'd give it a 4 out of 5) but this does not take anything away from this restaurant being a must visit for everyone. All staff were really friendly and polite. There's parking outside.

Wonderful experience - we liked it so much we went back the next evening. Staff were professional and attentive. We tried Italian and Ladina food and all were good.

Very comfortable hotel. Fantastic food. Friendly staff. Easy walk or bus to slopes. Good value for money. They could offer breakfast earlier so its not so rushed to get to slopes for opening.

Absolutely lovely staff and breakfast. Unfortunately in the room some lightbulbs were missing, there was some writings on the walls from previous guests and it is a bit from the ski slopes/mountains. The beds were really nice and wifi and breakfast was all-inclusive. I would definitely come here again and recommend to any others.

The apartment itself was great. Got a room for 3 people. Very cozy and it was nice having two bathrooms. The breakfast was also great as well as the lady who ran the breakfast. However, the check-in process was a pain. We had to ring the buzzer/call a few times to be let into the building while it was raining. There weren’t any precious instructions as to where to park. The person who checked us in didn’t speak great English which is fine, but we had to wait until the next day to ask any questions and have our “orientation”. Also, the parking is a bit of a pain. They have a steakhouse attached to the apartments and their parking lot is not suited for apartment guests and restaurant guests as well. It was a deterrent to leave at night because we would come back to our rented apartment and have nowhere to park

Disappointed in the rooms and the general public areas, they are tired. Room furniture was very basic and tired. No glasses provided so you could a drink on the balcony, had to use a plastic bathroom cup. The staff were very good and helpful. The food was overall ok but one main meal was poor - a bit of meat with a dollop of mash potato. No sauce, seasoning or accompaniments, very bland. Lovely views from the garden area.

Every year we love this restaurant. Food always of a high standard. This year we discovered the Stube and we visited many times. It is cosy, warm and welcoming. So relaxing that we didn’t want our meal to finish. Thank you Rita, charming and warm hostess

Had the tasting menu, everything was great. Not five stars because it took too long between different dishes. (I know I was on holiday, but even so it could have been a little faster.) Other tables having regular menu dishes went in and out while we had our meal, so I'm planning on going back, because the food was very tasty. Changing from 4 to 5 stars: went back, had a mixed grill, very tasty, and a lot faster, even with appetisers and dessert. Very good.

Our third visit in 14 years and only wish we could have come more. La Tambra is run by the very welcoming and hospitable Dalponte family. Wide choice for breakfast and excellent four course dinners based on local Ladin recipes and locally sourced ingredients. Very attentive service. La Tambra has a large Wellness centre. Comfortable rooms. My photo is the view from our bathroom A 5 minute walk from the ski lifts, La Tambra is also served by the skibus. A fourth visit in March 2024. This year we chose a premium room with great views in two directions. Quality of food and service exemplary as ever and the Dalponte family are wonderful hosts.

So tasty pizza , pasta and risotto with fresh mushrooms. And the pistachio tiramisu was the best I've ever had. The service was incredibly friendly, fast, and competent. Especially the waiter with the mustache.

Very nice and comfortable place with authentic atmosphere. Tasty fishes and kind personal, Risotto with mushrooms is perfect. You should definitely try the local soup and salad with Camembert cheese.

In a cold Sunday evening, lots of restaurants and markets were closed, then we meet la tor by accident with its warm light! When you go to inside you would be appreaciate to its lovely decoration. The space is enough, the service is nice, and most important that the food is really good! Especially the risotto (apple & chestnut)! The gentleman who had selfies with me is really friendly, so nice to explain the menu and give some good recommendations!! Plz everyone come to try their magic food!

We were delighted to find and dine here while in the Dolomites. We hadn't booked but arrived at 6pm and got a table (lucky?). Food and service were excellent. Relaxed, friendly, unpretentious we felt at home and loved it.

You'll likely need to make a reservation for this place as it books out in the high season. They food was overall good. We were especially surprised with how good their beef noodle soup was. I also recommend the steak and potatoes. I wouldn't recommend the mushroom tagliatelle. The bread that comes in the beginning was all stale, which was disappointing. That said the size of the dishes are on the SMALLER side compared to other restaurants we've tried. They also forgot an order and forget to bring us extra plates as requested. Small things, but when you're paying more for a nicer place, you'd expect these kinds of mistakes not to happen.

Beautiful menu that features both classical Tyrollean and dishes with a twist. Probably one of the tastiest places in Selva. Service was a disappointment. We had booking and came in time, but had to wait for 15 mins, which would’ve been ok if someone met us. Starters were severed relatively quickly, but mains took 1.5 hours. The rest of the company enjoyed the drinks, especially everyone enjoyed local gin&tonic, which was served with a small performance. My Aperol was made poorly, it was transparent and I could barely feel any Aperol in it. Goulash with speck dough potato balls is a must - the goulash is average, but the speck balls were fantastic. Cheese board was brilliant, and beef tartar was well done.

Top notch cuisine in an intimate atmosphere (so, make reservations for a 6:30 or 8:30 seating). Highly attentive and friendly service. The interior design is really cool - Alpine sophistication. One of Selva's oldest institutions. We stayed at the attached boutique luxury hotel and ate here 3 times - the food was THAT good! Friday was a popular night for their weekly Iberian style ribs - book early seating is limited.

Although we did not have a reservation, they quickly managed to accommodate us at the bar. Staff members were extremely polite, taking care of service, food presentation and keeping the good mood. Food is absolutely astonishing, I would recommend the place.

Excellent restaurant in Corvara! We arrived quite late and there were not so many restaurants open, and we were so lucky to end up here! The pizza is just perfect! A wow Italian pizza, especially the Mexican one! We also loved the tiramisu! The host speaks perfect English and they were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you to visit this place if you’re in the area! A+

This is one of the best restaurants in corvara Dolomites , all the staff are amazing and the food are excellent 10/10 .

My pizza was tasty and pretty much met my expectations, meat, cheese and vegetables. My wife had the Primavera and was disappointed. Salad was nice but I feel it should be amazing for 18 euro. Dessert was pretty good, tiramisu and fried apples with ice cream. Restaurant allows dogs, which is cool if you like dogs. Service was intermittent, which is to say that our waiter kind of disappeared to eat his own meal and nobody filled in for him for a while.

We were looking for good pizza in the region of polenta. Pizzeria Salvan happened to be one of the few restaurants with a kitchen that served straight through the mid-afternoon hour in Corvara and it did not disappoint! The wait staff was kind and the pizza better than average.

Food looked great on google, but they must have changed something since last year. Our pizzas looked nothing like that. We were quite disappointed. Pizza was mediocre at best. Pasta was bland. Bolognese didn’t really taste like bolognese at all. Quite the disappointment. But the biggest disappointment was desert. We were excited to see crème brûlée on the menu. Unfortunately it was really lumpy. Anyway, if you mess up, you should re-do it, don’t serve it if it’s not perfect. Gf didn’t even finish it, and she LOVES crème brûlée. Service also mediocre at best. Location and general atmosphere is nice. It’s nice inside as well. Also a big plus, and why we went here was that they don’t do the whole siesta thing, so you can actually get something to eat when you are hungry, unlike in the other restaurant’s in the area - I will always hate that about Italy. Overall, I was expecting more given the previous reviews, seems like they made some changes recently for the worse, definitely not a 4,3* right now.

Although it’s aesthetically pleasing the food isn’t too good. The lasagna is yucky, schnitzel quite average and the egg & onion pasta not too good (if you’re starving and HAVE TO eat try the fries). Very expensive considering the quality of the food. I’d give it one star but the panoramic view and modern interior persuaded me into giving 2. Wouldn’t recommend 👎🏼🤢2/5 ⭐️

One of the finest restaurants in the area. There is a canteen, as well as a “fine dine” option. This is a review of the canteen. Positive: Stunning, panoramic view. Access by cable car lift from Corvara or by path. Dishes prepared in front of the customers. Many gluten-free dishes available. World-class dishes. Classy, refined atmosphere. Clean environment (dining area, bathrooms). Very professional, pleasant staff. To be improved: There are no bins in the vicinity.

Very modernist, a little austere but we liked the ambition! And the views on the valley side are just wonderful. But maybe not a place to pop in for a quick lunch at the self-service as we did. The staff seemed pleasant enough but unsure of what they should be doing and that confusion slowed things down. Our lunches were OK but at these prices you need better than OK. But a few tweaks and it could be a destination, providing an interesting alternative to the traditional alpine style.

One of the most unbelievable alpine dining, if not dining, experiences I have ever had! I do not need antlers and Tyrollean chic every meal and this was exceptional modern cuisine with a world class view & service! Make this a 1:30/2 late lunch and forget the amateur reviews saying the food was terrible. This is the best restaurant in Alta Badia!

The best gourmet experience in an Alpine Lounge, food and drinks at the best high level with a touch of unmissable tradition ⛰ vegetarian and vegan choices. Eat, drink, rest, read, admire the majestic view. Don’t forget to taste an illy espresso coffee ☕️ before leaving.

I’ve been here two moths ago, it is a very nice place to go during a break from the ski session. Very kind, friendly and attentive waiters. Beautiful location facing the mountains and very tasty food.

Peaceful and scenic alpine hut. We hiked here with the family and our little one and had drinks & food. Everything was great and the owner was super friendly and recommended hiking routes nearby.

A very nice Refugio with fantastic food.Had potato ravioli filled with goat cheese and great tomato sauce. Probably better than the Michelin starred restaurant we eat in the other night. Definitely worth the hike.

I stopped here and ate last year, and did the same this year. Simply amazing, enjoying great food with a wonderful view of Marmolada, Piz Boè, green pastures, people who work here are very kind, they make you feel like home. After the meal you can enjoy the view, resting, it is really dolce far niente. Must visit.

Piz Arlara is not just an Alpine Restaurant in the heart of Dolomites, but one of the most cozy places I have ever been. Combined with extraordinary food-magnificent mix of typical cuisine with pinch of secret ingredients and obviously- love, great services, nice music and incredible atmosphere it makes it a spot to remember and to dream to come back. I like the friendly attitude of the owners, tasty food and convenient location and hope I will have the chance to explore a bit more from the menu, the wines and the communication with these kind people there :-) A piece of my <3 is still browsing around :-)

270° magnificent view. As it was fine weather the tables and benches were spread on the grass so that I could really enjoy this splendid view. And at the same time I had one of the best carpaccio’s ever !!! (carne salad something)

We started the night with a fun behind-the-scenes tour of the 30,000 bottle wine cellar (yes, we were even giggling at the team using the the emergency wine pole through the night!) and touring and meeting the chef team. The service throughout was impeccable, and Nicoleta’s storytelling brought each dish to life with history, passion, and personality! Thank you. Erika’s expertise took us on a journey through Italy with her wine pairings, guiding us through the regions with warmth and insight. Thank you! The bar team generously shared their knowledge, especially when it came to the grappas! Thank you! The dishes were imaginative and beautifully prepared: the “walk through the woods” with mushrooms, the vibrant vegetable plate, and the 26-hour turbot were standout highlights. Every course had a story, a soul, and a little surprise. Even the playlist added joy! We made a game of guessing which movies the songs came from! Thank you to the entire team for such a thoughtful and exceptional evening. It was a true highlight of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region!

Really nice 1 Michelin star restaurant inside the La Perla hotel. The room we sat in was very intimate and authentically South Tyrolean - lovely. The food was outstanding - we had a pasta with caviar course that was excellent and a tataki course that was also very good. Service was outstanding and we loved seeing the kitchen and meeting the chef. Only slight criticisms would be that my wife was served a glass of champagne that was flat and a little too much emphasis on “presentation” for presentation sake. Still, our second favorite restaurant in the Dolomites (after Tivoli in Coftina which is one of our favorite restaurants in the world - see my review) but well worth a visit if you are in Badia - a very enjoyable meal!

One of my favorite dining experiences of all time. The pre-fixe menu, with about 10 courses included the small bites, is well orchestrated like a performance — the waiters manage each course transition seamlessly. The whole experience is 3 hours. We had a group meal here on the last night of ski safari and felt incredibly pampered. The highlight for me was sea bass and the pastry for desert. The vibe of the restaurant is a cozy farmhouse with private rooms/spaces for each party. Each dish has Italian and Korean influence.

A place where silence becomes flavor. Dining at La Stüa de Michil is not just a meal — it’s a poetic experience. Chef Simone Cantafio invites you into a world where every dish is a dialogue between nature, memory, and emotion. The “Symphony of the Undergrowth” tasting menu was a journey through forest, smoke, and soul. Perfectly balanced, deeply thoughtful, and at times almost spiritual. Monteverro Chardonnay 2018 was a stunning pairing — structured, mineral, and creamy. A unique touch: a handwritten note inviting us to listen to silence, reminding us of John Cage’s 4’33” — a bold and elegant metaphor for how this place treats food: with reverence, not noise. Service is warm, intuitive, and discreet. No excess, no rush — just care. Grazie to the team. I’ll carry this experience with me.

This was outstanding even by Michelin standards - a very exceptional experience of taste, presentation, decoration, and service!!! We loved every detail of the tasting menu and had a wonderful time. Don't miss the risotto! The restaurant is also great at accommodating food preferences such as omitting fish or even keeping the menu vegetarian. The alcohol free aperitivo "Martini zero" was likewise fabulous.

We went there because we heard they have the best Bombardino. I can not drink yet but i tried it. I had Hot Chocolate and that was not Hot Chocolate but it was just milk and cocoa. Bombardino was okay. Location is a little bit bad because of that you need to go up hill because the slope and lift is high. It looked okay and waitress was good and it was fast.

The restaurant is located at the slopes, very near to a couple of lifts which makes it very suitable for to grab a lunch or a coffee. Both the interior and exterior are cozy and welcoming More importantly, literally everything we ordered was extremely tasty. I would absolutely recommend the goulash soup and desserts.

Professional good mountain service. Athough I usually prefer places with a lower amount of guests because of comfort, even so this restaurant can improve my wishes. Personal is very quick and can various of languages. Fine level of gastronomy in the strategical mountain space.

Service was very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and the portions sufficiently large. The best ski water we have drunk so far. Cozy atmosphere and directly at the lift and the ski slope. Seating is sometimes a little scarce.

Our appetizer course was served very efficiently and was delicious. Main course was a mess. Brought out only 1 of 3 orders and waited 10 minutes for the next and the third never came. One entree was great the other, a margarita pizza was tasty but incomplete. It only has 4 ingredients; pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and basil. There was no basil so they brought me 3 basil leaves. Totally disappointing.

So the taverna is the restaurant affiliated with the hotel but not the hotel itself. The food was very good - we came close to closing time so pizzas were not available but had a nice salad, fries and a couple of drinks. The waitstaff was a little harried, maybe even a little brusk, which was different from our experience at the Posta Zion hotel restaurant where they were great. Lovely location - we sat outside and looked at the mountains.

Small and friendly local bar/restaurant ideally situated on a lovely walk or ski from the slopes. Serves the main menu until 3pm in the summer (not sure about ski season) which comprises of great looking pasta dishes, after 3pm meat and cheese selections are available as well as lasagna, which I had and it was a decent meal, homely and comforting. Good place to kick back and have a beer for sure.

Great pub by the slopes. Nice stopping point to end the day especially if staying near Arlara. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Quick service. Friendly staff. Clean toilets. Kitchen closes at 15:00 so if you want some of their amazing pasta you need to make sure you head there early.

I know this place from a long time, it is sad to recognize the quality and service drop to a so low level. The internal place was full of flies, you have to constantly protect the bread and food from them. Out of 6 plates, we left 3 quite intact because two of them "gnocchi di patate" were literally flowing into the oil, the other "pappardelle con porcini" was so salty that to have four fork of it I had to drink 4 full grass of water, then I stopped to eat being full of water. The only good dish was the meat, well served and of good quality, being quite pricey. We had no discount on the final bill. I don't recommend this place anymore, my guests and I, in total 6 prople felt kind of scammed. Lastly the service was quite rude, commenting and responding to us on the orders like she was in an hurry and we were wasting her time. It is not acceptable for a restaurant in which you pay 50 euro per person.

Came here for a quick lunch. We had the goulash and carbonara- both were excellent and good portion size for a reasonable price! Staff is nice and perfect seating in the sun. Will be coming coming back! ⛷️🌞🫶🏼

We recently spent seven wonderful days at Ütia Crëp de Munt, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. Everything was top-notch from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The rooms were very cozy and sunny, with modern renovations and stunning views from the windows — each day started with breathtaking mountain views from early morning until late at night. We must also mention the excellent restaurant at the hotel, where we were treated to incredibly delicious food. Every meal was a true culinary delight, and even the simplest dishes were prepared with great skill. The hotel owners were incredibly hospitable, creating an atmosphere that made us feel not like hotel guests, but like we were visiting good friends. This place truly offers a sense of warmth and tranquility. If you're looking to escape the daily grind and relax in the mountains, enjoying scenic walks and delicious food, Ütia Crëp de Munt is one of the best places you can find in the area. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crep de Munt! The place is recently renovated but has managed to kept the original vibe and style. The rooms (and the entire place) have the most wonderful views over the mountains. Food is also amazing, but the best part must have been how friendly and service-minded Mara and Tommy were (and the rest of the staff). We hope to come back!

So happy to find this little gem in the middle of the mountain! We got caught in the rain and fog and something warm to eat and drink was exactly what we needed while enjoying the view. Everything was great and the service fantastic! Toilet outside is super clean.

Beautiful location, welcoming, helpful staff. Food was some of the best I’ve eaten in Italy. Great for vegetarians too. Characterful building and staff very dedicated to philosophy of the place, including sustainability and hospitality. Quite possibly the perfect refugio!

Be careful, 7e extra shower is a scam. It is not extra you have to pay it even if you dont use a single drop of water in the hut.

Three nights in this Rifugio on a trip doing some hiking and climbing. Utterly spectacular setting. Beautiful clean, simple, traditional mountain hut, but with wonderful food, service, coffee etc. And with a strong sustainable approach. We’ve stayed in mountain huts across the alps and this is the best so far.

Impeccable service compared to what we have experience in the Dolomites so far...not to mention friendly welcoming staff and very hearty food. We dined both days here and the pasta dishes were incredible (quite reasonable too), I also tried the Venison medallions and the weinerschnitzel which was delicious. Hands down the best fries and a senstional apple strudel (Best we have had so far). Worth going just for the strudel alone.

Food was fine, maybe carbonara was a bit too oily but good nonetheless. Nothing equals that view though, absolutely magical. Service was great!

The hut used to be one of the best on the entire ski resort, offering very good food, friendly, and fast service. It was a traditional stop for us. Over the years, we noticed that the number of benches around the hut increased significantly, while the hut itself remained unchanged. This means the kitchen capacity hasn’t changed either. The result, as expected, is brutally long waiting times and lukewarm main courses that should be served hot. A really bad experience—just because of the waiting, practically a sixth of the skiing day is wasted. Such a shame... It used to be such a great hut. Capitalism at its finest.

Really good little bar/restaurant in the large blue/red run area above La Villa. Interesting outdoor seating arrangement with smallish private areas and more open heated areas. Really good value. We bought two cappuccinos, one mocha and an expresso coffee all for 6 euros. Lovely place. A great find.

Cozy setting with fantastic food. You must order the carbonara. This carbonara holds a #1 spot in my heart! Divine!! The egg cheese foam was interesting and surprisingly light! Something that really stood out to me: the sommelier and the selection of wines. I had the opportunity to try a few wines I’d never expect! Really appreciated this experience. One of my fav restaurants in corvara, & globally!

This place was insanely good and not super expensive. Felt like a 2 star Michelin experience for less than $100! We got the carbonara and rabbit plin(?) and it was sooo good. Would def recommend if you’re in town for a post-Sellaronda meal. Only problems were: we didn’t come hungry enough because we ate too many peanuts at a bar beforehand and the bread was just like ok, not warm and no butter. Love me some butter.

This place tucked under a parking pad was one of our favorite restaurants in Europe to date. We ate here three times in the 5 days we were in Corvara it was so great! We did the tasting menu and ordered off menu as well, everything was wonderful. The whole staff worked so well as a team, from the wine, to service, presentation, and quality of food. They really wanted us to have a phenomenal dinner. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, service, and ambiance. They also welcomed our small dog.

The best meal ive had in my whole Italy 21' trip. Fine display of contemporary Italian cuisine that both intrigues and satisfies. Service is top top with great wine recommendations. Highly highly highly recommend and a must go if you are in the dolomites. Just amazing through and through.

An absolute must in Corvara! Yes, it’s a bit pricey but every mouthful was worth it! Everything was superb - food, wine list and service but for us the star of the evening was the dessert- a humble Bunet done to perfection. Superb!

Unassuming little spot to grab a quick bite. Based on prior reviews I went with the Col Alt pizza. It was an interesting one. Potatoes and rosemary herb seasoning on top of a pizza made me think more of American Thanksgiving than Italy. Not bad, but not computing clearly in the tastebud registry. We also got the delizia, which was another white pizza. Overall both dishes were good with good construction. This is a nice local option for straightforward food and service.

This is the busiest restaurant in town and for good reason. Their pizzas are amazing! I dined there 4 nights in a row. Also delicious Apple Strudel and Gelatos. The staff are friendly and attentive.

We went there first lunch, the place was pretty full but the food arrived pretty quickly The service was very good I had gluten free pizza that was tasty, and my husband has regular pizza and said it's pretty good. The salad looked amazing as well.

A very cozy place with attentive and friendly staff. The pizzas are large, varied, and made with quality ingredients—you can really taste the difference. Plus, the prices are great (between €12 and €17 per pizza), which makes it even more recommendable for enjoying a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

I had the bruschetta and the spinach, mushroom, and asparagus pizza. The bruschetta was only okay, it was a big piece of toasted bread with chopped tomato and garlic. They bring salt, pepper, vinegar, and olive oil to the table so I ended up adding those to my liking. The pizza was only okay, and I had a little bit of a stomachache afterwards. I ended up picking off the asparagus and mushrooms since they didn’t seem to be very fresh. I ate the spinach even though it also seemed to be not fresh. The waitress and environment were nice, though.

The best one was mascarpone crudo.

Nice place to go to keep your budget low and have good pizza and a great beer on tap (Rosso). The Stadio Pizza was really good combination of toppings. Once I had to sit outside, since inside was full, no problem with that view.

Zero! Drunk Markus molesting guests and continues even after few kind warnings and asking nicely. The waiter knows him and does not ask him to leave. I tried to be as calm as possible because I was on vacation. Otherwise, Markus would not have a good time.

We came to this restaurant with high expectations, it turns out the money was not worth it at all. The service was quite slow. The quantities were too small and all dishes lacked salt. The bread was low quality and not fresh (see picture). Not up to a gastronomic restaurant’s standards. Absolutely disappointing!

My fiancé and I got a reservation via recommendation from the Michelin Guide and we were not disappointed!! The food was awesome (foie gras, chateaubriand), but the real standout was the service. We were treated like family, the host (Matti (?)) came over and welcomed us, and the whole evening just felt super warm, friendly, and very professional. Great last night meal in Corvara.

We came here on Monday 18th and the atmosphere was excellent: great music (piano and violin), excellent bar and a very attentive service. Food was OK’sh: Risotto with oysters, in my view, had a quiet unbalanced taste. Ever though i really like oysters, the dish was not for me. Pumpkin pasta was a little plain. Tiramisu was all cream and a tiny biscuit in the middle. You might get all expected layers in one spoon a couple of times and the rest will be just cream. We were back for cocktails and great atmosphere.

Portions are small, taste is average. Service is slow. They bring the bread from the day before or maybe more. If prices are that much high everything should be near to perfect. Such an upset....

The lively Bistrot Music Club, helmed by head bartender Antonio Virili. The Bistrot Music Club features a spectacular circular bar counter and backbar as a centerpiece. There are five bar stools along with three cozy banquettes which wrap around the counter, allowing guests to get a great view not only of Antonio Virili and his talented team of bartenders. At the Bistrot, the dominant color is red, which is complimented by the soft lighting and the artisanal wooden walls and ceiling. The red color of the Bistrot makes one immediately think of the Negroni, which happens to be one of the most requested classics at the bar. There is also the Negroni Aged, a barrel-aged negroni with London dry gin, Barolo Chinato, Campari bitter and four artisanal sweet vermouths that has been aged for 2 months in a Chestnut wood barrel. Because of its popularity with guests of the Bistrot, it has been a signature “fuori menù” since 2019. The focus for Virili and his team is delivering perfectly executed classics as well as artful reinterpretations of timeless recipes. Other popular classics at the Bistrot, perhaps of no surprise given the wintery surroundings, include whiskey-based Boulevardier, Manhattan, Old Fashioned and Sazerac cocktails. The team prides itself on reproducibly executing their cocktails, as exemplified by their house Martini cocktail, which includes Tanqueray 10 gin pre-mixed 3:1:1 with Noilly Prat dry vermouth and water in the same bottle. In this way, the Tanqueray bottle can be removed from the freezer at -10˚C with the liquid poured directly into a chilled coupette from the same compartment, to ensure the same ice cold and crisp Martini each and every time.

I ate tartar and ravioli. Both are tasteless and pricey. Unfortunately, waste of time and money. Not recommended.

We are willing to pay dearly for a certain level of service and quality but we are not willing to be cheated! We are sorry to say it, but if this is the new standard, we will not be returning any time soon. Too bad. (Original) Frequentiamo La Perla da tempo, veniamo ogni anno e la cena al ristorante o al bistrot è un punto fermo. Ma la cena di ieri merita di essere menzionata perché è stata una vera delusione. Siamo ben disponibili a pagare caro un certo livello di servizio e di qualità ma non siamo disponibili ad essere presi in giro! Ci dispiace dirlo, ma se questo è il nuovo standard, non torneremo presto. Peccato.

We ate in the restaurant. The staff were very polite and attentive and our meal was excellent. The decor was also beautiful.

Very special - let's say a vintage B&B. Very cosy, small rooms, low ceiling ... which gives you a feeling of an experience from another period. What is really outstanding is the level of customized service orientation from the young and extremely motivated staff (which is nowadays pretty seldom to find) - combined with great dishes and locally sourced high quality ingredients. And of course a wine list like no one - wine makers who I would consider as revoluzzers ;-). If you are looking for posh hotel than it is not your place but in case you looking for something unique this is the place.

This is a review for the restaurant. The food is delicious and non-hotel guests have an a la carte menu with good variety to choose from. The highlight was the service though - we had an amazing very friendly and helpful waiter. Disappointed not to have had time to go back!

While heading to the mountains in Italy, we came across Bar AL LAGO by chance, and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous decisions we made! We ordered a simple spaghetti with herbs and olive oil – it was light and very tasty. The chicken wings were delicious, and the beef pasta was good and filling. We also had the Caprese salad, made of fresh tomato slices and mozzarella – it was absolutely delicious! The place has a beautiful view, with a kids’ play area right next to the restaurant, making it perfect for families. The staff were incredibly kind, respectful, and welcoming. They also served us a basket of fresh baked bread as a complimentary starter – and it was so tasty! A completely unplanned visit that became one of the highlights of our trip.

My husband and i went over for lunch. We were amazed on how good the food tasted. Lasagna wasn't your typical red lasagna it was white and it was delicious. I had the spaghetti and it was great. We would definitely go back and eat there.

Perfect place for relaxing. The lake is beautiful and refreshing, there’s plenty of space to enjoy the sun on the grass. Perfect for families and kids. Prices are very affordable and the close by bar is very practical.

Wow, should have found this place sooner during my stay in Corvara. Had the menu of the day, couldn't help myself wiping the pasta plate clean with bread to get every last bit of sauce. Service was very attentive.

Hospitality at top level. Steak was perfect (not the mediocre/bad things u get in center corvara, like posta zirm). Grilled vegetables, as addition to steak, were delicious. I would love the béarnaise (do not mind me, just got back from Paris:) sauce option, because I am sure the Cook can do it perfectly. We absolutely recommend this restaurant. This place was the only open place that we found. The service was great and they talked a little bit of English which was helpful. We ate schnitzel and it was great as well as the potatoes that were fantastic. I recommend to stop her for lunch or even just a coffee. By the way the coffee was excellent as well

Very cosy place close to the natural swimming pool. View is fantastic on the mountains you will appreciate peacefully environment all in wood all nice and clean with good waiters spritz and beers are perfect. Sofa to relax and enjoy the scene. Outside of the crowded city center. Place for thé parking cars. Good after a ride or in the afternoon for a before.

Cute little local restaurant serving Ladin and modern dishes with a local twist. We came for dinner after a long days hike and warmly greeted by the hostess, and seated and served by Francesco who took great care of us the rest of the evening. The restaurant is cozy, traditionally decorated and candle lit. Menu offers and good selection of dishes, cocktails were good and beer was cold! Francesco served with a smile, and answered our many questions warmly. The food was flavorful, tagliatelle with venison tasty, tortellini with cuttlefish delicious, beef very tender and the Dubai chocolate and mandarin sorbet were yum. Happy to recommend this restaurant if your staying or passing Arabba, and shout out to Francesco for the fantastic service 🙌

Perfect place to relax and have a great dinner . The wine selection is very well made, in perfect harmony with the food. If you’re going to stop by, ask for the daily menu.

I really wanted to like this place. Nice atmosphere on arrival and a tall, rather graceful waitress took my order attentively and with good humour. Unfortunately service tended to alternate between her and a rather frenetic chap who was prone to speaking excitedly at a table full of diners while backing away from them, on one occasion into another member of staff and once into a client. He almost backed into our waitress too but she gracefully dodged him just in time. Food was good but not great. The starter, a taco with shrimp, guacamole etc was a nice idea but could have done with a little zing, a subtle hint of citrus or a tiny bit of spice maybe. Unfortunately the taco itself was a little soft, nothing 60-90 seconds in a hot oven wouldn't have fixed. I wasn't asked how I like the steak and consequently it was rather overdone for my taste. There was only one red wine available by the glass. I had to ask for a soft drink 3times before it came and the espresso to finish... never turned up. Overall though, the place had a nice feeling to it so I might well go back and give it a 2nd chance but it's not top of the list.

Had a very pleasant lunch here. The staff were all friendly and very welcoming. We had home made tortelli with spinach to start and it was excellent as was the black squid ink tortelli. The main course was veal wrapped around prosciutto and a local cheese on a rosti was really tasty. Had an excellent lagrein with it. It was a lovely restaurant to spend a wet afternoon in. Probably should have done a bigger hike beforehand to be really hungry as it’s hearty mountain fare .

After another 10 minutes of trying to place an order, the waiter rudely told us he was “too busy” to take it. The lack of professionalism and disregard for customers was astonishing. The situation was so frustrating that we decided to leave without ordering. This place clearly has no respect for its guests—definitely deserving of 1 star.

We had lunch at Refugio Frara and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly delicious and authentic. We were a group of 8, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dessert was also a standout—authentic and a must-try if you’re visiting. The service was impressively fast, unlike anywhere else in the area, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our server, Marina, was amazing—so helpful and friendly. She took the time to explain the menu, recommend local dishes, and even suggest nearby hikes. Her warm hospitality made our visit even more special. We definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I was pleasantly pleased by all aspects, service especially. The room and showers were clean and comfortable. This is not an alpine hut, rather a small hotel in town. Nice stop on Traumpfad depending on which huts you are linking.

We only ate at the restaurant and cannot share reviews of the accommodation. However, the overall service was good. Bruschetta had some melted cheese which was weird and the pasta and omelette were okay, bread bit dry. There could be improvements on this side. Good (thick) hot chocolate.

Great location for an overnight stay during the Alta Via 2 hiking. Nice and clean room with comfortable bed. We had a good sleep in Frara.

This is more of a road-side hotel than a traditional mountain rifugio. It is located on the busy road at Passo Gardena so there is some traffic noise. The rooms were private and en-suite, and newly decorated. Food was a la carte with a wide choice.

Probably the worst stop of our trip , tired and outdated rooms, not so friendly service, food quality is cheap and not very authentic. I stay in this hotel 2 times first time with my family after one week I stay 8 days with my cycling team. very nice location very nice view from both side. very friendly stuff. They have very Nice bike storage. Swimming pool with a sauna and Jacuzzi. Big restaurant with a nice food. Parking area behind the hotel. Highly recommended.

We had been staying in mountains huts for over a week, with aggressive hikes and climbs each day. When our bodies couldn't take it anymore we stopped at the first hotel we could find and we ended up here. It was the best decision we made the whole trip. This hotel took great care of us and gave our bodies a chance to rest and relax. There is a pool and sauna on the lower level, and the meals were so amazing. The staff was helpful and happy- overall this was a slice of heaven.
