What a beautiful sight and experience to share with your partner🥰 Please note: wearing mosquitoe repellent is a must, if not standing on windy pier!! We enjoyed ourselves immensely😍
Very nice beach even in winter. When you are lucky with weather it is a great sunset view
The sand is soft and clean, perfect for walking barefoot or relaxing. The beach stretches far, so even when it’s busy, you can find space to sit. The water was cold but refreshing. It’s not the warmest place for swimming, but the views and fresh air make up for it. The long wooden pier is a highlight. Great spot to watch the sunset or just take in the sea. Lots of people gather there in the evening, but it still feels peaceful. The promenade next to the beach has food stalls, music, and plenty of places to sit. It can get crowded, especially during summer, but the atmosphere stays relaxed. It’s not a luxury beach, but it’s clean, well-kept, and natural. A nice place to spend the day. Worth visiting if you’re in Lithuania.
Amazing beach. So so fun and not crowded. Sunset and bridge is beautiful! So fun to go there with friends and enjoy the sand and water. The forest is very beautiful near the sea and the beach, recommend a lot!!!!
Really nice beach, especially during summer time. Lots of space to walk, chill, some restaurants, free seating spaces, that beautiful pier, very pretty park nearby, little shops, etc. Very easy to get lost in the beauty of that little town!
Just before & after the season this place is terrific. First of all the view is amazing here: Baltic sea, seaside & the forest!!! Sand is almost white and soft at the beach. Water. Ok water is not so cool because it’s quite cold :)) The woods and all the nature, i don’t even know how to describe so check the photos and videos i’ve added.
Very beautiful and good vibes in this lovely place Too crowded and kinda noisey The people there are very nice and a lot of street performers in the area There are many sitting places
best. beach. on. earth. be safe and ride the waves!! Jorgë was riding the waves like a master and never fell off the board once, of course i'm going to give this beach A good rating because of that

A very nice museum, €8 per adult with a very nice shop and cafe. Plenty of exhibits to see of amber and other artifacts.
It was a very cool museum. Today when I went it was very crowded but it was still very very cool to see all the amber artifacts. Might not be suitable for children and may be a little boring Overall a nice place.
A grand and wonderfully beautiful manor with a well-maintained park full of flowers. Very friendly and lovely welcome at the door. And that amber display - fantastically beautiful! Everything was just great and our whole family enjoyed every moment we stayed at the manor. Thank you!
Wonderful place for to visit with kids, have a lovely picnic or just to explore nature. Lots of wild life around. I had a chance to see fox and a snake so far. Was very interesting 😇 they also have installed new statute by the entrance of the park. Ans park is really really big, can take hours to explore it fully
I have visited this museum when i was just a small kid. And i can say it have changed very much. New innovations are very interesting for children. Much of it is written in several languages so the descriptions are clear and informative. It is written in detail with all the stories and explanations. The staff were also helpful and kind. For those who have not been or are visiting Palanga, I recommend visiting the Amber Museum, considered the gold of Lithuania.
Very beautiful selection of amber which was even exhibited in France some time ago. A lot of ideas what could be made from amber. The oldest pieces of amber are 50 mln. year old.
A fine palace and well kept. Special designs were found in amber, large and small, and beautiful jewelry made by artists. In addition, there were pieces of amber that were several million years old, with various insects preserved inside.
Amazing exposition! Advice: try not to go there in the free entrance day (last Sunday of a month) to enjoy in your own tempo. Pick headphones to listen audioguide via each piece' QR

Just returned from Polanga. This Park is beautiful, well kept and seemed a very safe area to visit. A must see is the view from the little Chapel at the top of a Birutes Hill beyond the lovely Amber museum . It's a wow factor to walk straight from the park onto the gorgeous beach .A lovely place to visit
Apparently swimming rings are too dangerous for that beach. But bay watch driving by people with ATV full speed in sand is totally not dangerous. Thanks alot for ruining amazing beach for me.
The beach is clean most of the times, however in bigger crowds you'll see with a naked eye that the water is all dirty, so try finding a spot where there are less people in order to lay down and swim in a healthier water. Also minor minus is that the toilet cost 1 euro in the park near the entrance to the beach, so come there with an empty bladder.
My favorite beach on the Baltic coast
Nice beach to have a walk along the sea. Was a little bit annoyed but helicopter that was flying above at a very low height.
Smoothest sand in the world
Beach next to Birutes parkas is clean has better infrastructure and bigger waves 😁.

Beautiful fountain - the lights, the music, different water shapes. You can just sit around the fountain and enjoy the show.
Unfortunately closed in the evening, i.e. the park and branches are still there, but the fountain and music switch off at 10pm. Strange since there are still lots of people there, way later than that. Also quite dark, makes it harder for families and groups of friends to enjoy the park at night/after 10. Nice though in the daytime, but who stays there when the weather is nice? We are all on the beach in the daytime!
Awesome place to chill. Peaceful
Very relaxing 😎
Try to be there on the hour when yhe music's playing
(Translated by Google) The fountain's dance doesn't quite match the music being played, but if you're passing by, it's still worth seeing and sitting on the nearby benches to rest. (Original) Fontano šokis visiškai neatitinka grojamos muzikos, bet jei einate pro šalį, vis vien yra verta pamatyti, prisėsti ant šalia esančių suolelių pailsėti.
Every full hour (perhaps also half an hour? 🤔) familiar music plays from the loudspeakers and the fountain delights the audience with a "dance". It was really fun to watch and the kids especially liked it.

I visited the day that the church of the assumption of virgin Maria was celebrating, 15th August, and there was a church service. Beautiful red brick church outside, and inside is beautiful too.
Beautiful red brick architecture. I climbed to the observation deck, and the stairs are a little scary and thrilling. It's great that the old style is still intact.
The church attracts every gaze of the visitors- it is the highest building in Palanga and has its neo-gothic greatness and beauty. You will not be disappointed inside well- marble and wooden altars, stained glass windows with great ornaments and other interior elements and decorations. The church has it's newly installed organ and I highly recommend to listen to its magnificent sounds when it is possible. Don't forget to climb upstairs to the tower and enjoy magnificent views over Palanga and Baltic sea! It has two telescopes for observation and it is all free! Many visitors miss that opportunity because of a lack of information.
Beautiful church inside, neogothic style. You can visit bell tower every day until 17:30, great that it is free and even binoculars are for free. Interesting to see bells and chappel from the second floor, however view to a city is not fascinating.
Very beautiful red brick church. Tried to go upstairs to see bell tower but on Sunday entrance to the tower was closed.
Free entry , you can also climb the tower binoculars at the top
Beautiful church, free observation tower with a panorama view to the city
Charming Catholic Church with ornate brick, beautiful alters and paintings.

This is very calm and nice place. Few steps , definitely worth walking. Looks like mini tower of an castle. From the top of the hill you can see Baltic sea.
Access via botanical garden, good view of the rest of the botanical garden but difficult to see the sea. Easy access to the beach!
In the Palanga Botanical Garden, there is a relic dune on which the Birutė chapel stands. A sacred place where there used to be a pagan temple. A red brick chapel was built on the mountain, which is closed, but what is inside could be seen through the hole. The chapel has a stained glass window.
Literally translates as [dutchess] "Birutė's mountain" from Lithuanian (as in geographically flat LT hills often get called mountains). It is technically a tall sand dune (tallest in Palanga?) covered with trees. Atop you can breath some fresh breeze with scents of sea & pine trees, listen to the waves and squeaking tree barks and look into surrounding trees & the sea. Good for those who like nature and for fans of the LT national revival poet Maironis who wrote one of his most famous works insipred by spending time there. 🙂 LT being a rather religious country, there's also a small (locked) chapel with stained glass windows there, but not a too remarkable one. At the foothills, there's an oak tree planted in the 1930s to mark the 60th birthday of LT interwar president Antanas Smetona. Place is free to enter, watch your step as some of the wooden stairs can be wobbly.
Very spectacular view!
Very nice place in Palanga, the hill is near the see and in the middle of park. Beautiful nature an a good place for a leisurely walk.
It's a lovely place to see... With great views and surrounded by a beautiful park with ponds, and hills. Not too far away there's a Lithuanian Amber Museum and Botanical garden, also there's a beach near by. It will keep you busy for at least half of the day for sure!
When in Palanga, you not only can enjoy the Baltic sea, but also a walk in one of the most beautiful parks in Northern Europe - Birutė Park. Called the pearl of Palanga, this resort space was established on the territory of the former sacred Birutė Forest and Birutė Mountain. The landscape plan park project was created by the famous French architect Eduardas François Andres at the end of the 19th century on the order of Counts Tiškevičius. The talentedly designed park is characterized by a wide variety of views, paths and flower beds on the grounds. Here, on the land of the former Tiškevičiai estate, there were swamps covered with reeds until then. On the order of the counts, ponds were dug in this place, and the soil was used for the embankment of the future mansion. In 1897, a Neo-Renaissance style palace was built on it, which currently houses the famous Amber Museum. Birutė Park is a great place for a quiet and cozy family vacation, or a simple walk to enjoy the Baltic nature. Traditionally, three times a week - every summer Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. wind music fans gather in the park's rotunda - the professional Palanga orchestra gives Palanga residents and guests free concerts surrounded by nature.

The sculpture park was founded in 1982, in 2008 it was fully renewed and valuable sculptures from collections of Lithuanian Art Museum was placed here. You can enjoy 28 sculptures. Park exhibits works of acknowledged Lithuanian and foreign sculptors. It is like an open-air museum worth visiting for.
It has many sculptures close to each other, nice to scroll around. The park is very well maintained, for free, and it’s a central area. Recommend it!
Small sculpture park in Palanga, nice place to walk or to sit and relax for awhile. Free to walk around and just off main road.
Very pretty, small sculpture park.
A small sculpture park, it is possible to touch the works of art. ;) and walk around. But for art lovers I recommend A.Mončys museum it is a great artist who lived in France.
Loved playing draughts and oversized chess
Beautiful sculpture park in the centre of Palanga with many benches for rest.

Slide 1 of 8
The sculpture Jurate and Kastytis was created in 1959. built in 1961 at the end of J. Basanaviciaus Street, near the pedestrian bridge to the sea. According to the legend, a brave fisherman named Kastytis once set up a net in the Baltic Sea. The goddess Jurate sent the mermaids to warn Kastytis that the Baltic waters should not be disturbed, and Kastytis was not afraid. Jurate wanted to know who was ignoring her will, rose to the surface of the sea, and when she saw each other she fell in love and found herself in the amber palace. Percorn soon learned about the goddess’s love for the fisherman. Aggressive, he destroyed the amber palace. Kastytis was killed, and Jurate was chained to the rubble wall of the amber palace. Sometimes the sea throws tiny pieces of amber onto the shore. They say they’re Jurate tears.
Beautiful area in Palanga, very clean and well maintained.
Palanga was amazing. All kids enjoyed too, can't wait to see more.
Good place to spend time with your head....
One of most beautiful sculptures of Palanga, and beautiful legend.
Another iconic Palanga place, many tales and myths based on these two lovers.
Beautiful sculpture right next to the sea. The atmosphere there is amazing any time of the year! Really fits into the Palanga vibe
Situated in an open square at the cross roads between Meilės alley & Basanavičius street the sculpture is based in a fountain which is popular during hot summer days. The sculpture of "Jūratė & Kastytis" was built in 1961 and is based on a Lithuanian legend about the goddess / mermaid Jūratė who fell in love with a mortal fisherman Kastytis and lived together in her amber castle under the Baltic Sea therefore enfuriating the thunder god Perkūnas who struck the castle with lighting exploding it into tiny pieces. The legend goes that until this day the tiny pieces of amber found ashore are parts of the castle. Fun trivia: the coat of arms of Palanga has the crown and amber necklace of Jūratė as it's symbols.

I was with my 5-year-old daughter, she ordered glucose as usual, and the woman before us bought the medicine, because I didn't let my daughter take the glucose until I paid, she started hysterical. The pharmacist's reaction surprised me, more precisely her comment "what kind of child is this?" You see, she thought that she was just a spoiled child. These words of the pharmacist brought me to tears because my child has a developmental disorder. But anyway, I don't think I have to make excuses to anyone, especially in pharmacies, because the service staff has to keep their opinions to themselves. A lovely place to sit down after a long walk down the beach, I thoroughly enjoyed finding all these little notice boards and learning the history of the local area, definitely worth looking out fot them for an interesting read. Seems like this statue is well appreciated locally.
This great view of three sculptures opens as soon as you start walking the dunes near the mouth of the river. The story tells of three fisherman's daughters waiting for their father. However, in the Soviet years the three figures were also seen as representing three Baltic states looking for help in the direction of the West.
The surroundigs were updated few years ago, few benches and new wooden paths installed. Sculpture is now easily accessible due to all brought sand as there was a big pit around it few years ago. Symbol of the town or some sort..
Impresive sculpture! Very nice idea. It makes you to look at the sea differently.
Great picturesque place for locals and tourists alike. Especially knowing the true meaning behind the sculptures itself, powerful and beautiful. Truly recommend to drop by if you get tired of enjoying the sun at the beach and wish to endulge in a tiny piece of history.

Simply in Love with this place !!! It’s already my third summer I spend here and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Nonetheless, I noticed three things that could use improvement : the offer in vegetarian main courses Coffee quality (sour) Offer of protein shakes Can’t wait to be back next summer !
Simply put, it was fantastic. -Our trainer Rugile, awesome. -The rooms, spacious, simple and clean. Would be great to have a kettle in the room -The staff friendly, but would be nice if they didn't ask if we need the suit during warm weather 5 times 😂 -Equipment, location and the courses, great Overall, a really nice experience which I would recommend to everyone 🙏🏻
A great way to spend your summer vacation on water. If you are beginner level or advanced, it does not matter, there are many tracks and obstacles to choose from. The staff are friendly and supportive, the atmosphere is vibrant and full of positive people. You can jump right in or just sit down and relax for a while by eating at the local bar and watching great talents wakeboard throughout the day. 10/10, will come back again.
This is an awesome place and really popular too. You will find three small circuits based on experience. There is one for beginners. Also kids can experience riding in knees with a small surfboard. Restaurant on top for a nice view and small hotel rooms all around for easy access
Of all it has to offer everything was top notch, the on-site security (2024-06-08 RedBull Wake Duel) was especially professional, props to the fellas to ensure we have a blast! The Event's afterparty was insane, the DJs were armed with some high level bass equipment, definitely one of the best memories of my life 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Amazing place. Chill vibes. Just amazing atmosphere. Good for the beginner riders as well as pros. Improvement areas to make it even a better place: * have more wakeboards to rent: the size 147 is hard to get * more staff in the restaurant would be great as the waiting for food is insane. Sometimes it can take an hour.. * families with children often depend on the quite hours.. it would be great if they would be enforced. * apply rules for everyone: why some people (employees?) can bring dogs in while it is banned in general? Also, why ban dogs?
This was the best! We all had so much fun! The rooms are basic but everything you need is there and who cares when you roll out and wake on one of the most amazing setups! The staff are all super helpful and made the stay so enjoyable. However long their shifts were they were always smiling and ready to serve you. Their English was outstanding considering I speak no Lithuanian past thank you and please 😬. I cannot wait to come back and wake and chill in this amazing environment they have created, so gutted to be going home. Thanks all for an amazing week. We will be back. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽😜
Not pet-friendly place. They mentioned some incident in the past, but it’s such a lazy way to handle situation just ban the entry with the dog. You can make rules about leashes, offer to sit somewhere in the corner, but no - just ban. I spent 2 hours walking around the territory which is not a nice walking area, because my friends came for a training. Don’t be lazy, find the smarter way to avoid incidents.

Small but interesting museum about intriguing Mončio's creations
The brightest and most impressive home-museum in Palanga. Very lovely atmosphere and very lovely museum worker. It is hard to forget the exhibits for a long time. It is necessary to visit this museum if you are visiting Palanga!

Best museum I’ve been to. Must visit if in Palanga or surrounding area. If you don’t like dogs, paintings or fun, I’d steer clear. Owner was warm and welcoming.
Great museum! The owner is funny and had a great personality. We had Lithuanian friends who translated everything for us. Even though some of us didn’t speak Lithuanian, we still had great laughs and a fun experience. The museum isn’t big, but it is definitely worth the visit. The collection of different dog themed items is astounding. The whole guide doesn’t take too long, which makes it easy to fit in your next Palanga trip if you need something different, unique and fun. A big thanks to the owner who gave us a fantastic tour and a fun memory.
An amazing gallery. owner is a charismatic and very likeable person, but a lot of soft or easily offended people will hate it. the price of two euros is silly - give this man more.
Small but very interesting some of his artwork was fantastic he didn't speak English but he made us very welcome
Truly magnificent guide and owner at the same time. It is a perfect example of how passionate and hearthful storytelling can make simple things truly interesting. I was left with my jaw reaching the ground even though animals are not really my cup of tea. The musuem features not just dogs, but also various art pieces made by the owner. The 2€ cost is also ridiculous. Would recomment this place to anyone from young to old.

Wonderful park, you can choose English and Lithuanian languages. Both the child and I liked it. Beautiful large and artistic sculptures
Womderful place. It's a pity that some buttons are missing, so cannot listen to all tales in preferred language.
Simple yet great place, nice fairy-tales as well as their interactive counterparts (sculptures, swings, etc). Doesn't take long to visit them all. Fairy tales are available in Lithuanian and English (except a couple that were broken)
It is an amazing interactive park suitable for children and adults! There are two language's in which you could listen to different stories (Lithuanian and English) This place is awesome definitely coming back.
Needs some looking after but a great lazy way of listening to Lithuanian fairy tales while having a walk. Children loved it.
Cute :-) One can listen to fairytales in Lithuanian and in English. Enjoyable for kids and adults alike!
Accidentally got there, so no expectations. Kids climbed the objects and I listened to the fairy tales both in English and Lithuaninan, just to enjoy the sound of the local language.

Interesting experiments, cool tricks. It's a fun place to go. We spent 2 hours there. Staff are friendly and helpful and they take pictures for you too. the signs are in Lithuanian, Russian and English too.
We've been to a few of these other cities and this was probably one of the best. There were three floors and there was something to do in all of them. The puzzles were interesting. The mirror maze was really a maze and a few funny pictures were captured.
CHILD ABUSE. I was there with the kids, there was maybe 4 more people besides us. Before I was leaving I was talking to the ladie who welcomed us and told that I have to run to the car to take a stroller for the toddler. The car is just around the corner and I will be back in 5min. The kids - 2 years old and 11 years old left there playing piano and the toys. As soon as I left the ladies kicked out both children on the busy street of Palanga. More to add, she kicked out children that do not speak any local language. What person do kick out children's from the museum... no words
Ahha (tartu, Estonia) is much better than this. And the price is 8.50 eur for one person which is overpriced (max 5 would be reasonable). Cheap feeling
It was quite cool. Intresting and fun and on the main tourist street.
It's an ok place, especially for kids. They have a puzzle floor with a number of science-based puzzles, a maze floor with a mirrors maze and a pictures floor to take illusive pictures. I was expecting a show and a little more entertainment, but we could complete it in less than an hour with my kid.
A lot of attractions were broken, illusions did not work. 8.- EUR for an entrance fee feels too much for the experience. The best part of the whole house was room with rotation walls and bridge. Other than that...not worth it.
Lack of disinfectant Liquid in all around the place. No hand towel st the WC. Place lacks elementary hygiene. Price/quality/experience is really poor. Not recommend as there's more interesting places for smaller fee
