12th-century church, constructed similarly to Viking longships & moved to this site in 1842.

this beautiful charming wooden church offers a glimpse into the past with its unique design and craftsmanship. Tour is available with a small fee. Don’t miss the stunning views of the valley from the small cemetery. Parking fee: 5€ per hour.
It's a very historically important church. It's a wooden church with beautiful exterior architecture. There's a small cemetery surrounding the church. While many churches in Poland are free to enter, this one costs 14 zł, with an additional 5 zł if you have a camera. I didn't go in because there were large groups of people inside.
Worth to see, very nice little wooden church with beautiful well maintained grounds. Ticket is cheap and you can spend there as much time as you want. To there there you can leave your car on paid parking and take a walk. Some little shops and coffee places around. View is spectacular
A small wooden Viking-style church surrounded by a small old cemetery. The steep trip up will reward you with breathtaking views. What I don’t accept personally is paying an entrance fee to a church!
Karpacz and Wang Church are kinda places you should visit before die! I had visit there by my bike 🚲, saw amazing nature and had an amazing experience.
If you want to see an original Norwegian Stave Church without travelling North, that is the solution. The history behind is even more interesting. Definitely worth visiting.
Such a beautiful building in beautiful surroundings. Well worth the trip. A printed sheet of the narrative is available in different languages. Very popular attraction
A unique 12th-century wooden church originally built in Norway and relocated to Karpacz in the 19th century. Surrounded by the stunning Karkonosze mountains, Wang Church blends Viking architecture with Christian symbolism. A peaceful place for reflection, history, and beautiful views — a must-see when visiting Karpacz.

Mountain peak
Nature & Parks
Popular hiking spot on the border of Poland & the Czech Republic, the highest peak in the latter.
Slide 1 of 8
Entered through the Czech side of the mountain using the lift. Weather conditions were exceptional, as shown in the pictures. It is definitely worth visiting for the views alone. Be warned, parking on the Czech side is a nightmare. You will have to park a few kilometers away and take the ski bus.
A must in terms of hike in the Czech Republic, very well signaled and prepared routes on both sides, recommend to do it in warmer season. I did it in winter and it was very tough compared to summer. The village (Pec pod Sněžkou) under the mountain it's the perfect place to stay for 1-2 nights, as the hiking routes basically starts from it
The highest peak in Czech- Bohemia, Sněžka 1603m s/l where it borders Poland. Nice hike from the Polish side of the Silesian Hut ⛰️ 😉👍
We visited on a foggy day, the cablecar was even closed half way to the mountain top due to strong winds, so we hiked there. The path is not very long, some 6km in total. Expect lots of steep stairs and some hard ice, even in the Spring time. Even though, we couldn't see much, view wise, we still enjoyed the short adventure. Make sure to bring warm clothing... It felt like - 10 at the top due to the strong winds. The nearby parking is paid and around 1km away from the cable car station but there is a nice side trail following the water stream.
It was fulfilling reaching the summit gives u spirit to conquer heights without fear
Beautiful views, quite hard climb but suitable for begginners, you can see everywhere around either polish and chech side. From Czech side you can take lift car from Pec pod sniezkou which takes you directly to the top. Small restaurant on the top which is usually crowded so better be prepare having own food and drinks.
This trip was unplanned, so the weather conditions were not in my favor, and it was difficult to enjoy the scenery. However, this trip was a great risky adventure that will remain in my memory for a long time. An incredible place for a winter vacation.
Hey everyone...Is the highest mountain of the Czech Republic (1603 meters 5260 feet) the ascent is possible from the Czech or Polish side....I crossed the Polish side...in the city of Karpaz at the municipal parking lot no. 7... .it's two and a half hours from the parking lot (or you can use the cable car that takes you under the hut and then it's only about an hour's journey) the level of difficulty is easy to medium... in winter, be careful at the top, it can be minus 20 and a strong wind that I experienced firsthand....

2,200m-long chair lift, open in winter & summer, bringing riders to the top of Śnieżka mountain.
Slide 1 of 8
Only Liczykrupa open at the moment , good snow little icy at the bottom, no queues not many ppl today and it was Friday . Equipment rental limited .
We were not quite sure if it would be opened the day we wanted to use it. But it was a great experience. Not as expensive as some lifts in Austria or Switzerland and you can skip most of the way to the top of the Sniezka.
Super crowded during summer holiday. Sugest to Come till 10:30. One of the Must to do.
Very positive experience. The staff were super helpful and friendly and made sure we have enough time to get on/off the chairlift with our 3yo child. The chairlift went very smoothly without any dragging or swiveling. It's wheelchair accessible. You can also bring a stroller up to Kopa.
great place to go skiing and rent them. there is a slope for beginners to ski. for snowboarding, there is a separate slope elsewhere. on weekends there are a lot of activities, games and tents with different food. there are instructors who help and 3 different slopes. Nearby there is a waterfall very beautiful.
270pln for 3 hikers to go up on chair lift ONCE 🤯 Worse price than cable car in Zakopane. Last lift down at 5:30pm, we missed it, had NO IDEA how to return. When buying 2-way tickets at 4:00pm, agent DIDN'T BOTHER to mention that the last lift down is at 5:30pm; they have same open hours as a library. To compare, Zakopane cable car runs until 9pm! After we were stuck, no instructions on how to get down safely around the lift. Absolute waste of money. Plan to do the hike, arrive early, and don't waste money on this lift.
Great place to hike. Amazing views around you. Also added photos of Sniežka (1603m). Could be a bit difficult for beginner but achievable, it depends on the path you choose.
It’s worth considering if you plan travel on Sniezka mountain. The cost around 65/55zl depending on the season. In the season you may stay in a long queue but it’s moving quickly.

Summer toboggan run

Slide 1 of 8
A great place for fun and adventure for all ages, it delights. One more thing is that this ride is good for a couple like a girl (ap. 5feet) smaller than her partner, only 30zł-2 punkte is the advantage of buying a ticket together so, you can ride together. I was a bit scared and exited on my first ride but the second time it was really fun and yes their staff was also kind, respectful and helpful. I highly recommend this place for fun with your child or partner.
Beyond the loops and drops, these views were absolutely breathtaking! ✨ 🛷 The toboggan is automatically dragged up the slope, but then you are in full control of speed sliding down the loops and enjoying the views. Children from 3yo to 8yo can ride only with an adult.
Wow place to go with kids, great fun for small and big, young and old. Reasonable prices, professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend
very nice place very long road to go down. they have two lines so u don't have to wait too long for ride. 10 rides it's 120zloty
It's really fun, definitely worth visiting. It is going up itself, you can't control, but later you control the brake. The only tips for adults, better trying to be at the openning or check so that parents with small kids are not right in front of you on the line,as they are driving slowly, and you don't have a chance to ride fast.
It’s fun, the ride lasts probably for 3-4 mins. Make sure to buy a ten pack of points to have extra fun
Great entertainment for all, only kids from 3 years, and sometimes you need to show proof.
Great fun! Had an amazing time! Appropriate for every age! Simple to operate.

This is a place must visit and chill in karpacz, amazing view and nice vibes. You will have access to high 700 meters mountain to hike and nice cafe nearby..
Beautiful nature peaceful place . Recommend visiting
Nice place to have a walk. You can walk over the dam or go down to the very river and explore the dam from it's foot. You can walk along the river rapids or have a rest by the reservoir and visit a nearby restaurant.
Beautiful place for a walk and family time. Now in autumn colours are mesmerising. Worth the walk, easy with pram
Worth visiting whenever you’re in Karpacz - the sound of the water is so therapeutic 😊. Serves as a beautiful backdrop for pictures 😉. NB: It’s free of charge for entry.
The Łomnica Dam in Karpacz is a fascinating site to visit. The scenery around the dam is stunning, offering beautiful views of the mountains and lush nature. It's a peaceful place, perfect for relaxing walks and taking in the fresh air. The dam itself is impressive and showcases interesting engineering. However, some areas could be better maintained, and additional informational signs about its history and purpose would enhance the visit. Overall, a worthwhile destination for nature lovers and those interested in local engineering marvels.
Lovely place 😊

Really well designed museum with interactive components. I think it's specifically good for families with kids aged 6 to 10. We came in the morning and the place was pretty empty, so we could take our time with all the interactive elements.
I love hiking. For me, climbing Snowwhite ( Śnieżka) was the best experience in Karpacz. For my 9 years old son visit in Karkonoskie Tajemnice was on the top of the list. We both had a great time. It's fantastic interactive experience for all family members! Do you want to know some old highlanders legends? Do you want your children to embrace the culture ? This is the place to visit.
Very interesting exhibition that explores various local stories and lore about the mountain spirit, with cool interactive elements. It takes about 30min-1 hour to explore everything although you can take a longer time to find all the hidden details. Non Polish speakers are given a tablet with translation for each section so it's really convenient. I think it might be a little scary for young children (5 & below) but there's no jump scare or anything, just the overall vibe and sound effects. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Karpacz.
Amazing museum, very interactive and entertaining. Lots of things to do, a great way to learn about the local legends.
Nice exhibit, not too big. You can ask for an English tour, they'll give you a tablet with written explanations.
A very interesting and well thought out interactive exhibition. Provides a journey through a fantasy world giving a visual form to local myth and legends. Good place for +6 children to investigate. Smaller children may be frightened. The friendly girl at reception gave us tablets that had English translations. A great experience for all the family
I had great time there. The whole museum was interactive and tried to entertain visitors with many activities. What i liked the most was the facts that you could activate a voice which was telling you a story by pressing green buttons set in various places all over the walls. I would recommend visiting this place for people with small kids, because for them it's the unforgettable experience (Also the coffee they serve is delicious :) )
Great experience. The guides are translated to multiple languages. The expositions is interactive. The storytelling is quite good. It is not that much scary, no jump scares, the ambiance is dark and tense.

If you’re passing through, stop and be wondered by science!
Best experience is free parking next to ski lift. Rest is not worth of visit :) If you're passing by, stop to check it. If you're more than 2km far away, ignore it.
Great stop if you are already in Karpacz resort area. Tested the anomaly but couldn't verify.
We stopped our car, put it in neutral and the car moved downhill as expected. We also tried a bottle and it also moved downhill. You can see a stream near the road which shows the direction of water and also shows the downward slope of the road. If people are seeing anything else, then it's an optical illusion. Sorry but gravity exists everywhere on the Earth and is only slightly weaker at the equator due to centrifugal forces and at higher altitudes due to one's distance from the mass of Earth. No where on Earth can escape gravity and it's even more ludicrous to claim that gravity works opposite to its expected nature.
Did not realise until you see cars reversing up the hill. This is a wnder and I'm sure someone can explain. But still a novelty.
Planty of cars! Hard to find a free spot. But worth it. I didn't feel nothing. But maybe I was so tired after Sniezka expedition.
Nice, more optical than gravitational anomaly. Be cateful when u drive through the road. A lot drivers try anomaly and stops their cars in the middle of the road.
The car indeed goes up the hill

Toy museum

An outstanding collection of toys and dolls. The highlight of the collection are the dolls and doll houses gathered from a remarkably diverse range of eras, traditions, and styles. Also surprisingly international with gems from all parts of Europe as well as some fine samples from Asia and the Americas.
The Toy Museum in Karpacz is a charming place that offers a delightful journey through nostalgia and childhood. The collection is diverse, featuring toys from different eras and countries, which is fascinating for both kids and adults. The museum is well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great place for families and anyone interested in the history of toys. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that some exhibits could be more interactive. Overall, a must-visit attraction in Karpacz!
Interesting collection of old toys. Allows to recall old times and show children toys of their patents and grandparents. Exhibition is quite big (over sixty stops when you want to see everything and learn something about). There is bo guide but you get written guides (unfortunately I got not up-to-date and descriptions didn't match showcases). Can be Interesting for children and also for adults. However, It's better when someone likes musems ;). Here is free parking lot near the building and clean toilet for children.
Fantastic place and worth seeing . Lovely people and unbelievable displays Worth time and money
It is OK, collection is OK but a lot of dolls and not really much more. I could see more toys to be honest.
Unfortunately a very boring place for kids. Nice collection but for sure not prepared for a young audience. It is also very small.
A lot of fun for both kids and adults. The building itself is an old train station. There is a cafe as well
Such a great experience. My children can not wait to go there again!

Children's amusement center
Whimsical children's attraction with fairy-tale dioramas, some rides & a spacious playground.
Slide 1 of 8
The main thing my kids loved here was the tube sledding. This a paid playground with story stations which are told in Polish only - it is separate from the tube sledding and can be done without buying tickets to the playground. The playground is nicer than the free ones around town. My kids weren’t interested in the stories even if they were in were in English. Hidden around the back side are more activities including a big trampoline, sand digger stations, as well as a ball shooting air gun (extra fee). The tube sledding is a lot of fun so be prepared to buy extra tickets. 5zl for one 20zl for five rides. We must gave bought 10-15 rides and another 10 rides the next morning. Each ticket to the playground includes 1 tube ride. There’s a cafe next door if the parents want to get a snack, dessert, beer etc.
Amazing place for kids to play and most of it is for free!
Very nice. Small children enjoys the attractions + i appreciate the small fable houses
Overrated. Ads everywhere to this place and what do you get? Just a glorified playground with an expensive entry, payable only in cash. Water park was not even working. Closing time is 18.00 (end of October), however there is not a single lamp, so the whole place is dark by 17.00. So a big disappointment for us.
Nice place for smaller children to run around. Lots of different activities, the usual play park equipment and more. The bajki are in Polish only, so keep that in mind. They are animatronic scenes which tell a fairy tale when you press the button. Don't walk there from the centre of town, get the road train.
Nice place for family with children for the whole day long.
All stories are cut short to 2- 3 min, but that didnt ruin them. Good weather is a must, as this is a big playground for kids with old legends booths "hidden" arround. You can come and go freely with a ticket for a day.
Good place for kids. There is nice playground, pontoon slide and several cottages with interactive stuff - kid can push the button to listen to fairy tale and see moving toys inside. Here os dedicated parking lot for a few cars, clean toilet and some kind of bar when you can eat and drink something keeping an eye on kids. The only disadvantage is a tickets policy - this place offers nothing for adults. All you can do is to take care of your childs. And you can pay for this - you have to buy separate ticket to get in. Luckily tickets are not especially expensive.

I loved this place so much. It’s such a calming atmosphere and you can do great pictures. It’s also refreshing to go inside the water after an exhausting hike.
A breathtaking spot deep in nature! The waterfall is wild, powerful, and mesmerizing. Perfect for a short hike, photos, and a peaceful reset. Easy to reach, surrounded by lush greenery and crisp, fresh air. If you want to feel truly connected to nature — this is the place. Highly recommended!
The place is quite nice, but when we were there, the water wasn't flowing at all, so it didn't look much like a waterfall. It probably depends on the weather and the season. On the bright side, because there was less water, our kids really enjoyed climbing on the rocks. Overall, it's a great short stop on your trip.
Nice place to visit. Either a gentle hike from Karpacz, or you can get the 'bus train' from the centre. It's not a whole day affair, but a good place for a scenic detour on the way to the gondolas.
Visited Wild Waterfall at the end of September and absolutely loved it! The place wasn’t crowded at all, which made the experience even better. It was calm, peaceful, and beautifully clean – perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet escape with stunning views!
Great place, amazing walk Free aces
Amazing place, full of magic. I can honestly 💯 recommend it. Beautiful views, refreshing water and calming surroundings. Can't really ask for more during a scorching summer day after climbing up Śnieżka.

Really nice museum. Kids like it when they přes the red button and Lego move or make some Lightning 😁 but the price of Lego is little but more expensive
Not too big but good for kids up to 5 years
Small lego exhibition. Some models are interactive but nothing spectacular. Good way how to overcome a rainy day with kids. Of course you have to buy them some lego package at the end. :-)
Nice place to visit on a rainy day
Very nice exhibition, good pieces, some interactions included. Not expensive, but quite small. 30 minutes max.
Good point for everyone who likes lego blocks. Exhibition is not so high, but still worth your time. Younger kids would be impressed by interactive snake, they also will be able to build something on their own. Visit would take from 15 minutes (Glance at different models) to 45 minutes when you consider building something and bring your children here.

Small but interesting museum. Unless you read German or Polish you'll need the English audio guide. The young woman at the counter acted like I'd ruined her day by showing up but apart from that recommended.
Impressive and educational
(Translated by Google) A small museum. It's mainly devoted to winter sports. I saw it quite quickly. Perhaps it would have been more interesting with an audio guide. But with the kids, I had to hurry because they were bored. Normally, I would have paid 75 złoty. But with the Large Family Card, I paid 25 złoty. In my opinion, it's worth the visit. The staff were very nice. (Original) Muzeum małe. Poświęcone głównie sportom zimowym. Obejrzałem je dość szybko. Być może z przewodnikiem audio byłoby ciekawsze. The museum displays a rich collection – from old skis, sleds, and sports equipment, through exhibits related to mountain rescue, to interesting natural facts about the region. The section devoted to the beginnings of tourism and exploration in the Karkonosze Mountains is particularly interesting. The exhibitions are clearly organized, and the building itself has a historical charm. This small but very well-prepared museum is worth visiting while in Karpacz – especially if the weather isn't ideal for hiking. If you are a Lego fan, then you will definitely enjoy this museum. I enjoyed seeing all the Lego sets from my childhood 70s/80s and the highlight being the Star Wars room. My young son had a lot of fun lighting up the displays and operating the trains, planes, cable cars, rockets etc.
I was very surprised to find this kind of museum in this kind of place, and it was pretty nice! I felt myself as a kid again and the exhibition is made by people who are in love with their job, thank you guys attaching happy Lego husbando Jpeg x)
Very impressive exhibition of interactive lego scenes that are setup with lighting, music and sound effects. These are like the scenes you see in Lego advertisements that almost no one builds in real life. It is interactive in the in most of the exhibits you can press a button or joystick that you’d typically see in a model train museum. There are frames on the wall showcasing how legos have changed over the years and they also have many of the massive legos like the Titanic, Millenium Falcon and others. I didn’t see the Star Wars ATAT robot. There’s a small play area which didn’t gave many legos to play with and only had space for about 5 kids to play. Important to note - all the exhibits are behind glass like an art museum but you can get close to everything. This multi floor exhibit has many rooms on each floor. The kids will love it. Mine spent 1 hour on the exhibits and 1 hour playing. They’d stay longer but it was the afternoon already and lunch had yet to be had, so to avoid the, you know, disaster, we left to eat. There were a few groups in there but there was no wait and we didn’t have to wait to see any exhibits. Warning - legos are for sale at the entry. And you know your kids will want to buy EVERYTHING.
This is an incredible place. It’s a must-visit for every Lego fan and everyone who kept the child within. You can spend hours here and find some new lovingly detail. I found so many memories to my childhood. Highly recommended!
This place was lit. The Lego museum was good to see how Lego has evolved from the 70's to now. Kids would definitely love this place. And then there was the video games museum. I can't explain the feeling I had when I was walking in between all those old games and consoles. Super Mario, tanks, tekken, road rash and price of Persia and lots of other games you could play just like you did 20 years ago. Takes you back
Excellent. I was not expecting such a good little museum! Great displays, a lot of attention and small details, and the adjoining Video Console museum was excellent as well with a brilliant collection and lots of classic playable games. I suggest a visit to anyone!
It's the best LEGO museum. Lots of interactive elements. I am a LEGO maniac and enjoyed every moment of the visit.

The video game museum is a fantastic destination for gaming enthusiasts. It boasts a wide variety of old consoles, including the NES, which you can actually play. The hands-on experience with these classic systems is a nostalgic treat. While the museum itself is a bit pricey given its size, the combined ticket with the LEGO museum makes it a great value. Together, they offer a unique and engaging experience that’s worth every penny. I highly recommend this museum for anyone interested in the history of video games and the opportunity to relive the magic of vintage gaming consoles.
A lot of nostalgia and much respect for the owner for keeping the museum in order. Many old consoles from all ages including the first every video game pong. Original super mario bros is also available after i completed it in 8 minutes. The parking is across the road for 8zł for the first hour and 7 for the next. The building also includes a lego museum and is very clean and enjoyable
Welcome to the world of your best childhood memories (if you are in your 30s like me)! See the hardware which was attached to your 21" CRT TV not that log ago, let the memories reappear. Still remember your first game? There is a chance you'll find it there (my is Pong btw.). Missing the annoying dog from the Duck Hunt, he'll mock you again. Wanna feel like kido again? You know where to go.
Great collection of old computers with great info about them. If you're in area and computers or games are you're area you need to see this. Also be sure to check their Lego collection as well. Well worth it!
Slick exhibits, many playable games.
Could easily have stayed there the whole day
Damn, that’s so crazy

Great free of charge museum, strongly recommended
Interesting rock gems from all over the world.
(Translated by Google) A very interesting, compact but rich exhibition of minerals. There's even a meteorite, gold, diamond and fossils. Samples from different countries of the world (indicating which sample is from which country). Quiet, calm, interesting and free. Conveniently located, there is parking, a small store of products right in the museum for any budget. I definitely recommend a visit to anyone who cares about minerals and their history.
(Translated by Google) A great collection of minerals, we learned a lot of interesting things from the lady who was there. The collection includes not only minerals from our home country, but also many exhibits from abroad. Additionally, there is a shop where you can buy various minerals, mineral figurines and jewelry. It's definitely worth visiting this place, entry is free.

You can come here just to admire them, but there's also a shop where you can pay by card. The wide selection will satisfy everyone. Plus, the little ones can dig for gold ;-) (Original) Świetne miejsce by nabyć pamiątki z pobytu w górach. Skarby ziemi są naprawdę przepiękne. Można tu przyjechać by pooglądać ale jest też dostępny sklep w którym zapłacimy także kartą. Bogata oferta zadowoli każdego. Do tego maluchy mogą poszukać złota ;-)

On-site, you can purchase items made of amethyst, agate, and a whole host of lesser-known stones. I highly recommend this place in Karpacz! Na miejscu można kupić wyroby z ametystu, agatu i całej masy mniej znanych kamieni. Bardzo polecam to miejsce w Karpaczu!

Well-known rock formation with 12-m.-high granite pillars & sweeping views of the Giant Mountains.

This picturesque spot is perfect if you do enjoy brewing your own coffee while hiking. You can easily shelter the burner from the wind and sip your fav brew in no time. However, it might get crowded at times as it is a good resting spot.
For us, it was a 4 hours trip to get there, to see some big rocks on each other with nice view. The view was the best part, rest was nothing special.
Nice hike and view from the stones
Beautiful peak with cool rock
Come and see the devil shaped rock. He was believed to watch and guard the below lake :)
One of my fav places in Giant Mountains. And it's worth to remember that the name of this rock is a single Sunflower, not a plural one :>
Great boulder, very great and majestic. If you know what you are doing or you are crazy or both, you can climb on top of it and enjoy slightly better views. The rock is very good quality, very sturdy, don't bang your head at it!
Great place to visit on the way to the highest peak!
