We visited the park in April, right when the tulips were in bloom. The grounds are large, impeccably kept, and almost surreal. There are several distinct areas—including a farm, a hedge maze, and even a small castle—so you can easily spend a few hours wandering around. Bike rentals are available if you’d rather ride than walk. One tip: we found that tickets purchased through general travel sites were actually cheaper than on the park’s official website.
Parco Giardino Sigurtà is a breathtaking botanical paradise nestled near Lake Garda in Valeggio sul Mincio. A Garden Wonderland Spanning over 60 hectares, this meticulously maintained park offers a vibrant display of nature's beauty, making it one of Italy’s most stunning garden destinations. With highlights like the famous Avenue of Roses, stretching over a kilometer with 30,000 blooming roses, and the enchanting Tulipanomania, a springtime spectacle featuring over a million tulips in bloom. The Labyrinth, scenic water gardens, ancient trees, and serene lily-covered ponds add to the park’s magical charm. Whether you explore by foot, bicycle, or golf cart, Sigurtà invites calm and wonder at every turn. It’s perfect for families, photographers, or anyone seeking peace in a lush, floral setting. A visit here feels like stepping into a living painting — peaceful, colorful, picturesque, and unforgettable.
A beautiful botanical park not far from the southern part of Lake Garda. We visited in early June 2025. The park is lush with greenery, butterflies, and birds. It’s highly recommended to take the small train tour that runs through the park. The ride lasts about 35 minutes and circles the entire park, giving you a sense of its size and helping you decide which areas you'd like to explore on foot. Some of the highlights include a Japanese garden, a plant maze, an herb and butterfly garden, an educational farm, and more. We spent about three wonderful hours there — you could easily spend even more. Be sure to bring a bottle of water, as it can get quite hot during the day, even in June. Convenient parking is available about 250 meters north of the park entrance, in the supermarket parking lot.
Beautiful park and great family outing We went on a family trip to Parco Giardino Sigurtà and had a lovely day. We enjoyed a picnic in the gardens and drove around in a small golf cart, which the kids absolutely loved. The park is stunning and very well maintained – perfect for a relaxing day in nature. It is a bit on the expensive side though; we paid around 720 DKK for one golf cart for 2.5 hours. Highly recommended!
Amazing botanical garden, an absolute must see if you are in the area. Good paths to walk on, however, since the park is so big, there's also an option to rent a bike or golfkart. We rented a gokfkart, which is very convenient with small children.
Huge gardens with ponds, maze, castels, and other scenic beauties... Can spend days over there. Electric bikes and golf carts are available to rent.
The park itself is beautiful, but €46 for 2 adults and 2 kids is way too much considering the experience. Many attractions were closed, the park felt empty, and there wasn't much to do. It's a nice place to walk around, but with so little open, it should cost no more than €5 per person.
Beautiful place with amazing flowers. You can spend the entire day there. Bicycles are recommended, too bad they are not suitable for all ages.

Lots of green area with trees everywhere which is quite good because you could use pretty much the whole area to put your towel or chair taking advantage of the shade. Lots of options for sandwiches, salads and drinks, prices as usual for this type of activity, really big parking 3€ full day paid with coins. All menus in English and Italian, plus signs and rules in German too. Loved the kamikaze slide.
Best water park I've been to! Loved it! It's really big, surrounded by greenery and it's ideal for all ages-perfect for families with kids. My kids 6 and 4 had a blast, so much so that we went a second time to enjoy it some more before we went back home 😊💯 very safe and well managed and the food is reasonably priced (unlike most water parks). Highly recommended- especially families with young children as there's an area suitable and super fun for everyone. 😊👌🏻👌🏻
Today we went to visit Aqua park Cavour. It is located 16 km from our location in Castelnuovo del Garda. Although I was there during the week, not on the weekend, the parking lot was quite crowded. Parking costs 3 euros and is opposite the aquapark. With a little luck you can also find the shade of a tree at the car park. The entrance to the Aqua park costs 27 euros per person, a little cheaper if you pay online or if you buy a package for 2 days. I mention that the other day I went to Caneva Aqua park where the entrance costs 34 euros. Although it is theoretically lower ranked than Caneva or Gardaland and is located in a rural area in the middle of the field, we were pleasantly impressed by the facilities, equipment and the feeling of free space offered. Of course, it has slides with different difficulties, swimming pools, recreation areas, beaches with fine sand, fast food areas like other similar parks, but here in particular I didn't have the feeling of crowding, you don't expect much from different entertainments! A big plus from me! As main attractions: Egypt's central sand pool (extra charge for umbrellas and sunbeds), Iceberg and Kamikaze slides, swimming pool, fish lake. The prices at the fast food terraces are quite steep, like everywhere else. As a negative thing I would mention the annoying presence of midges. All in all we felt good at this Aqua park and I really recommend it as a fun destination if you come to the Peschiera - Castelnuovo area.
Great place to spend time with children — there's plenty to do and the prices offer great value for money. You can bring your own cooler and drinks and choose a spot under the umbrellas on the grass, so it's perfect for a budget-friendly day out. I also noticed that you can hire a bed and cabana on the beach area they’ve built, complete with sand. I personally really liked the place and would definitely go back again. One thing I was curious about: the artificial sand they used on the beach has a strange texture when wet. When it dries, it’s dark underneath with green edges where it’s been scraped or played with. My daughter was building sandcastles and I noticed it then — I’ve never seen anything like it before. That said, I would highly recommend visiting. The slides and other amenities are excellent.
Summer is like heaven here! Green place, sandy beach, a decent number of water attractions.
Really nice and big place, everyone can find a place with shade as wanted. Some parts are a bit crowded during top season. Lifeguards were always around and doing their job. You can find a picnic place for your own lunch, buy some stuff inside etc. Parking in shade is also a big plus. I would love to see few more drinking water fountains around, but that's just small detail. Definitely will come back if we are around.
Wow, we had so much fun in this park! If your children are up to 10 years old, they will have a lot of fun! A park in the south of Lake Garda, there are not many facilities here, but it is spacious, it has huge carpets of grass, it has a relatively shallow central pool with "sea sand", it has other shallow pools with slides for children and it has two slides for older children. We were on a day when there were relatively many people and still you don't wait more than 10 minutes for the slides, usually much less. It also has a deep and cool pool and there are also volleyball games, massages under the trees, cafes, in short... perfect
Great Waterpark with lots of space, clean, good food and not too overrun. Many slides, volleyball fieldstone entertainment and a high amount of sand. Great for big and small! Only negative part is the horrible radio station inside which spams the area with music in a loudness that wakes the dead in 100km distance and with a DJ that has a nervous finger in the loudness. Also they talk waaay too much.

The scenery is beautiful and suitable for bringing children. There are many geese by the lake and the souvenirs are also very cute. There is a large parking lot outside, which is very convenient You can stay here for two hours, it's very comfortable!
Beautiful place and surroundings, you can spend a whole day here without getting bored.
A place worth to see, because it's a building well preserved and restored and transformed into a great museum with a lot of exhibits.
Very nice place for walk and just visited Christmas market it's just amazing atmosphere love it
Historic town mostly enclosed by medieval walls, very clean and tidy.
Lovely place to visit. The town is really nice with lots of shops and restaurants
Visited here on the boat we rented out from peschiera, took us about 30mins to get here, first time boating so don't know if that's slow or what, took a while to moor in the harbour but eventually got it tied up somehow, first timers, had a walk around town which is pretty cool and had some lunch by the lake, worth a visit if in boat, we only had the hire for 4 hours so by the time we got back we just returned to peschiera
IT looks very nice from the outside. I had no chance to visit it and I am not sure if that is even possible because I have not found entrance with tickets. I have seen 1 main gate but it was closed. However eveything around was quite nice and it is definately worth to see and walk around. All the old Castle walls around the city are in very good shape and they create nice feeling that you are still in the middle ages with direct access to the Lake.

Venerable bridge, completed in 1395 & restored through the years, now serving as a town landmark.
Slide 1 of 8
It's like a hidden paradise on earth. Streams, greenery, beautiful architecture and great weather. Unfortunately, it can be very crowded. I recommend coming by car. There are too many people for the size of the area. Prices are above the Italian average. However, the experience deserves 5 stars.
Absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset. The crowd will most likely disperse by then. It's like a scenery that's been lifted out of a fairytale book. Beautiful.
The bridge is now also a main road with many cars on it, taking away some of the appeal. Plus it's not in great shape. However, if you walk on it you get a nice view of Borghetto and the river, which I recommend visiting. Accessible from New Town or from the parking near Borghetto.
A beautiful bridge with 600 year old footsteps. Beautiful architecture in a nice scenery between parts of the river!
What a stunner! Picturesque surroundings and a magestic bridge with so much history. Beautiful, on any day in any weather. Make sure you take the short journey up to the castle, more than worth the little bit of exertion it takes.
We visited after dinner. Since it was too dark , we cannot see the whole thing clearly. But it was beautiful at night. If you’re in Borghetto, you should stop by.
Nestled in the picturesque village of Borghetto, the Ponte Visconteo is a true testament to architectural beauty and historical significance. This medieval bridge, spanning gracefully over the tranquil waters of the Mincio River, is nothing short of enchanting. The bridge's elegant stone arches seem to whisper tales of centuries gone by, invoking a sense of awe and wonder. Its intricate design showcases the craftsmanship of a bygone era, a true testament to the skills of the artisans who built it. Strolling across the Ponte Visconteo is like stepping into a living postcard. The view from the bridge is absolutely breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista of the charming village, the meandering river, and the lush green surroundings. It's a spot that effortlessly captures the essence of Italian romance. Visitors can feel the pulse of history beneath their feet as they walk along the well-preserved cobbles. The atmosphere is serene, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon stroll or a quiet moment of reflection. What truly sets the Ponte Visconteo apart is its seamless integration with the natural beauty that surrounds it. The bridge acts as a gateway to Borghetto, inviting travelers to explore its narrow streets, rustic houses, and quaint cafes. It's a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor every moment. Whether you're a history buff, a lover of architecture, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, the Ponte Visconteo is a must-visit destination. It's a place that captures the heart and leaves an indelible mark on your memory. In summary, the Ponte Visconteo is a hidden gem that deserves every bit of admiration it receives. Its beauty is beyond words, and a visit here is an experience you'll cherish forever.
I love it! After visiting the Borgo, take a walk and go up to this bridge.

We ate at the risoterria and was honestly the best dining experience I have ever had! The quality of our food and the price is unbeatable. Danilo was exceptional with his kindness, knowledge and flare for languages. He added a special touch to our already amazing experience. Grazzie mile!
Fantastic food, every dish was delicious. We were a large group including many children and though some are less adventurous they ended up trying every dish. The day we went there was only one chef and one member of waiting staff, and although the dishes didn't all arrive together the quality of service and food was exceptional. A real treat.
It was not that good the food was bad and the drinks tasted like stinky toilet water
Great pizza, burgers and beer provided by a kind and smilly weiters! Perfect Dinner!
Delicious beer, great food, friendly service. A great place in a beautiful area. Another nice experience from the first time in Italy.
Very kind people, good food, very nice and clean rooms with beautiful view outside and at decent price !

Came with a tent and really loved the site! It is calm and everyone has lots of space. The pool is incredible - it has two 25m lanes and lots of space for play. It is also open almost all day: we swam early in the morning and also after dark - what a great experience. The sanitary spaces are consistently clean and very modern. Borghetto is very close and such a lovely town for a nice dinner, breakfast or spritz. Garda is 20 mins by car. We loved getting back to this little oasis after visiting the busy lake. Perfect place to relax! Thanks for the hospitality ☺️
Stayed here for two nights with a camper van. We booked the private bathroom too. Lovely spacious site, run with love by the owners! It’s very peaceful and you can easily walk into town. You can order fresh bread in the morning. There are two pools . The big one is impressive and we used it a lot. Everything is very spread out and you really have your privacy. Toilets and washing rooms looked clean and our little bathroom was great. Highly recommend this site. Thank you very much for having us
A lovely site, huge. So no problem with a large camper. Big open space, we had a private bathroom which was a novelty. The pool is great and very clean. Cycled (12 mins) to the castle and beautiful Villagio Sur Minichio, great market and Aperitifo. And walked to Borghetto 10 mins. The hosts were so lovely spoke great English and we felt really wanted us to enjoy our time giving us lots of recommendation. Thank you
Awesome place to stay, Super clean, Owner very kind and helpful. I recommend it
Very very good! The owners are very kind and always ready to help you! Very clean bathrooms. Large swimming pool. Very close (walking distance) from one of the most beautiful villages in Italy "Borgetto sul Mincio". 300 meters from cycle path "Peschiera del Garda - Mantova" that runs along the Mincio river. I'll be back for sure! Thank you!
Great campsite. Lovely hosts. Fantastic pool. Bathrooms clean and modern.Short stroll into Borghetto. Hosts gave us a free lift to our bus in Valeggio. Would go back anytime.
Amazing place. Nice and calm, not so busy as the nearby lago di Garda. The owners are very nice and really want to make sure you are having a good time. The tire of my car was soft, the owner immediatly helped me to get back on the road again. The pitch is big and we also had our own sanitair. Would definetly recommend this place.
rate very highly - huge open space; warm clean toilet facilities; and close to the most beautiful surprise of our Trip: the delightful Borgetto township. Also enjoyed the Saturday markets in Valeggio - make sure to buy some fresh Tortellina!

Stunning villa. Had a viewing organized a week in advanced with a man named Sauro we wanted to see the villa cause we are looking for options for our wedding reception. When we arrived he told us he forgot and that we had to wait for at least 30/40 minutes. Another couple in front of us had the same problem. We come from another country so this things to happen when you have all your day schedule it’s the worst. The place it’s amazing tho and a friendly Romanian woman managed to take us around to the place. Unfortunately the lack of seriousness and professionalism made us remove this place instantly as an option.
Our experience at Villa Sigurta is one we’ll NEVER forget! It’s so unbelievably magical—the gorgeous home itself, the beautiful grounds and swimming pool, the INCREDIBLE food, the WONDERFUL staff and impeccable service…I could go on and on! I will be dreaming about it for the rest of my life!

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, the beauties of the place are not the merit of the municipal administrations that have alternated in recent years, but are an undeserved legacy and a common heritage to which we all should give all our gratitude and respect (and this does not happen!) . One should refrain from praising what one does not know about. The landscape, the art, the civic sense, the respect for the rules, are too precious assets to be handled with too much ease and self-celebration. I hope that one day this country can emerge from such greed and regain its dignity and pride in being an asset worth defending in our common interest.

You'll discover a very beautiful church, richly decorated, including some very fine paintings. It's well worth the detour. Free parking is available on the surrounding streets. Admission is free. Allow 20 minutes. (Original) Cette église n'est pas très jolie de l'extérieur avec ses murs en briques sans décoration et son aspect massif. Mais l'intérieur c'est une autre histoire. (Translated by Google) The Archpriest's Church of Valeggio sul Mincio, Diocese and Province of Verona, is truly impressive. Dedicated to the Chair of Saint Peter in Rome (which is celebrated on February 8th of each year especially in Rome, obviously, in the Patriarchal Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran, Papal Cathedral of the Holy Roman Church and "Head and Mother" of all the other Basilicas and Churches of Rome and the World, and in the Patriarchal Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican, also in Rome, Sanctuary where the Remains of Saint Peter of Capernaum, Disciple and Apostle of Christ and by Decree of the Holy Spirit the first Evangelizer and first Pope of Rome, await the Resurrection from the Sleep of Death, where he suffered the Martyrdom of the Crucifixion upside down during the merciless Persecution desired by Emperor Nero Caesar incited by his most wicked wife, the Empress Poppea, on the advice of the no less wicked Jews, who, having voluntarily made themselves children of the Devil from children of Abraham who were and are no more, wanted the death of Jesus and for 2000 years they propose the destruction of the Holy Church of Christ and the dominion of Satan their lord and father over all Creation). The unfinished facade of this Church is majestic, all made of stone, the marble cladding having remained in the plans. Large and spacious neo-classical interior with a single nave with high, albeit very short, side chapels, but the presbytery and choir with the semicircular apse are rather deep. The Archpriest's Church of Valeggio sul Mincio would well deserve the title of CATHEDRAL, and that the Most Reverend Archpriest together with the Pastoral Council of the Parish of the Chair of Saint Peter of Valeggio make a pious petition to Monsignor Bishop of Verona Domenico Pompili so that, possibly having heard the Most Reverend Cathedral Chapter, he may grant this beautiful and solemn Church the aforementioned distinguished title that it truly deserves for its grandeur and magnificence. And always to the Most Reverend Archpriest of Valeggio sul Mincio, to the Most Respectable Parish Councilors, and to the Municipal Administration of this most pleasant town, I ask if it is conceivable, after several years, the reconstruction of the Bell Tower, the ancient high Tower of the wall circuit of the Rocca raised by the very elegant neo-Romanesque Bell Cell equally crenellated opened by triple lancet windows on each of the four sides, that the Bell Tower together with the Church and the Fort was the Pride of Valeggio and of its Most Noble People. And let's rebuild it, that Bell Tower so tall and beautiful and massive, Lighthouse of these Lands Blessed by the Creator.

The villa, dating back to the 18th century, has a structure that dominates from above, offering a suggestive view of the surrounding landscape.🚪 Upon entering the villa, I could immediately notice the signs of time and abandonment. Despite this, it was impossible not to appreciate the majesty of the architecture and the historical importance that the place represents. The villa, once a holiday home and then transformed into a state nursery, is now in a state of decay, but its glorious past can still be felt.🌿 Walking through the park and the roof garden, I could imagine the original beauty of these outdoor spaces. Despite the obvious need for restoration and care, the potential of the garden as a place of meeting and relaxation for the community is still palpable.👷‍♂️ I learned that there is a restoration project supported by associations and citizens, which aims to bring the villa back to its ancient splendor. This initiative made me reflect on the importance of community involvement in the conservation of cultural heritage.🤔 My visit to Villa Gandini Zamboni was an experience of reflection on historical memory and the importance of recovering cultural heritage. Despite its current state of abandonment, the villa retains a discreet charm and the hope of a future in which it can once again be appreciated and experienced by the community.
