Great hotel and location. Good choice of food for an all inclusive holiday. Drinks very warm not kept in fridge with only ice to cool them. No fizzy drink on tap all from bottle. Not enough sun loungers or parasols for the amount of guests so usually tussle with Europeans for a sun lounger at 7.30 🤯 toilet doors are glass with a gap around them so no privacy when showering or using the toilet.

We had a fantastic holiday! It was our first time traveling and trying all-inclusive, and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed for a week to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I had arranged a cake with the hotel via email, and they even delivered complimentary prosecco to our room — such a thoughtful touch. The food was great and we never had any issues. Even when we arrived late on a Monday night, we were still allowed to have a meal. On the day we checked out, we were happy to find that we could continue using the facilities and even eat before leaving. I’ve seen some complaints in other reviews, but this was our experience: of course, the hotel can always improve by listening to guest feedback, but overall we were very satisfied. Staff were quick and attentive when clearing tables, and our room had a lovely view from the middle floor. A couple of the receptionists weren’t very welcoming, but most of the staff were helpful and kind. When we left, we wanted to thank everyone for their service, so we asked if the tip box was separated by department — we ended up leaving tips in each one. Yes, there were a lot of wasps during our stay, but that’s something beyond the hotel’s full control. As for the value, all-inclusive is definitely worth it and much cheaper compared to bed & breakfast if you make the most of it. Thank you for a memorable holiday — until next time!

The hotel has a very good location. Close to the airport, and next to the beach with beautiful views. The room was clean and nice. The food is amazing, many local dishes, different food on each day. The only issue with it is that its burnt frequently. We spent a great time with 4YO children there. The crew is amazing, very helpful and hard working. My only negative remark would be, that its quite loud.

We spent our holiday here with my sister and our children, and it was an absolutely amazing experience – for adults, but especially for the kids. I have to start with the hotel restaurant. A huge thank-you goes to the head chef! My nephew has a serious allergy to nuts and seeds. The chef was incredibly helpful, always willing to show us what he could and couldn’t eat, even during busy times. We were never kept waiting. My nephew was so happy to have a wide selection of meals and even desserts – this is the very first hotel where we’ve had such a positive experience. The staff were all lovely, kind, and always willing to help whenever possible. The food was simply excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, with daily cleaning service and fresh towels every day. I also want to highlight how kind and meticulous the housekeeping staff were. The room was beautifully furnished, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The sea was perfect – shallow for a long stretch, which made it ideal for children. The water was clean, crystal-clear, and pleasantly warm. In short – a big thank-you to the entire hotel team for a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be coming back!💙🤍💙🤍🌹

Extremely disappointing – This is not a 4-star hotel I stayed at this hotel during my summer holiday and, despite the good location and the nice beach, the overall experience was far below expectations. Frankly, this place doesn’t deserve its 4-star rating – it would struggle to qualify as a 3-star hotel based on the services and standards we encountered. From the start, there was no welcome or explanation upon arrival – we had to figure everything out ourselves. The food was unacceptable, with some dishes being completely inedible, and most nowhere near 4-star quality. The only snacks available were pizza and sandwiches, both low-quality. Plates and cutlery were often dirty and wet, and only cheap drinks were available, served through vending machines – no quality options, not even for purchase. As for the room, while the balcony was quite nice, we experienced numerous issues: • Constant electrical buzzing coming from the walls • Poor soundproofing • No drying rack provided • Cleanliness was an issue: the room was already dirty upon arrival, and the bathroom and floors weren’t cleaned daily • We had to put on the clean sheets ourselves • The bathroom door was frosted glass, didn’t fully cover the doorway, and couldn’t be closed – no privacy at all • We ran out of toilet paper, and when we asked for more, we were handed a roll at the front desk, having to walk through the hotel with it, instead of it being brought to our room The bottle of water in the room was never refilled, and you’re not allowed to use the drink dispensers to refill it. Even worse, the bar doesn’t serve bottled still water. Used glasses weren’t collected from the room – we were told to leave them on the hallway windowsills, which is simply unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a 4-star. To top it off, every night the staff rolled loud carts through the garden, making a lot of noise even with windows shut. All in all, this stay – which we had been looking forward to – turned out to be a major letdown. It’s a shame, because the hotel could have potential with just a bit of care and attention. But as it is, I would not recommend it and will definitely not return.

After a week of vacation for first time to this hotel i can say that the total experience was very good! Child friendly even for babies with special menu, the food in general was very good with many choices and kids menu for the difficult kids every day. I really dont understand some negative comments about the food and the drinks. For me the food was perfect!!! Only the Beer if it can be colder? and that's it! The service from all the employs was excellent, polite and helpful anytime. The location is a big advantage with the pool and the sea very close so it is easy to go from the one the other. The sea is a shallow sandy beach very good for kids. Clean rooms with everyday cleaning service! Now the things that i would like to see improved is the Playground. I think adding more things and taking a service to the existing one will be good. Do something with the wasps if it is possible and the last thing is the door of the bathroom... Glass door with less privacy to the bathroom is not ideal. These three things where the only negative things for me. The whole experience was great, i recommend it, and definety i will come back.

The lowest value for money ever. Payed 2.000€ for 7 days and the hotel doesn’t even have: 1. A private beach with beach beds (even though it is called Alykanas Beach) 2. Bottled water (you drink water from a dispenser and a very bad water) 3. Client service: there were dogs roaming the hotel, bathing in the kids pools and the staff didn’t even care about it. The beer dispenser was not working and the staff said that the manager knows and they are waiting so if we want to drink we have to drink it warm. The first hotel where you have to pour your own drink (beer, wine, water) 4. Honesty: I am currently still in the hotel, while writing this review and I am reading a lot of bad reviews of people who experienced the same as me and the hotel just replies that “they are already working on solving the issue”, small disclaimer guys THEY AREN’T. 5. The consumer protection authorities should know about this hotel, as the 4 star rating is definitely not fit for it.

Excellent bar, lots of fun, Oli and Anna are very welcoming and know exactly how to create a party atmosphere. Cocktails are lethal 😂, as are the spirits. May have had a couple to many, but as Anna says, "What are you doing tomorrow, nothing but sleeping and lazing around?"

This has got to be the best pool bar in Alykanas. Miri, Bruna, Angela and the chef work thier socks off to make sure you have a enjoyable day. The pool is the cleanest I have seen (no sand in the bottom like most) and Miri tests is everyday for chlorine levels. The food is cooked fresh everytime and the beer is nice and cold. I can not recommend this place enough. It says something when the same people are round the pool everyday and some have been coming back for years, which also adds a nice touch because everyone is so friendly. Look forward to going back

Visiting Zeus is a must when you're around. What a wonderful place. There is a play area for kinds at the back ( swings, slides, bouncy castle, pool table) so you can enjoy a drink or two in peace while kids are playing. There football on TV inside and nice music outside. The cocktail menu is incredible - there's so many of them, and all that we've tried delicious and proper hand made cocktails. There's also kids menu with ice cream, milkshakes and mocktails. Now the real highlight of the place is the staff. Wonderful people, helpful, friendly, real Greek hospitality. We ended our night in Zeus almost every day and we loved it. Thank you for amazing time!

Brilliant bar, the drinks list is large without being exhaustive, and very reasonably priced. Couple of stand out drinks have been the Strawberry Daquiri and the Pina Colada. The staff are also amazing the can't do enough for you service wise.

Peter and his family are so friendly and welcoming. I only met them on my last night in Zante, which was a shame as i would have spent many nights at their bar. Great cocktails at a reasonable price and the live music is a nice touch. Will definitely be back when in Zante again.

Adonis, his brother, his mom & his staff are wonderful. We are in Zakynthos for a while. We stopped by drinks about 3 weeks ago & met Adonis then…. He was beyond nice & kind. We are stayingoutside of the busy part of the village. Bu5 when we want a drink or live music, we head down to his place. Mojo is one of the few bars on the main strip of the touristic part of Alykanas that doesn’t blast loud sports events. It does have tv monitors and caters to the visitors who want to watch a soccer game but you can still enjoy a drink & a conversation without the noise of the tv. The cocktails are good (unlike other nearby places that serve diluted cocktails) and Adonis is a seasoned guitar player & singer who will regal you with good old classics, therefore ensuring a fantastic evening. We love the fact that’s this is a family business & that the6 car3 about their guests & ensure a pleasant visit

Great little tour with lovely views, visit to the museum and church then lovely lunch in the taverna. The wine and food were really good and Spiros the owner is quite a character. Seemed determined to send people on their way tipsy with his wine 😜 only regret is we didn't buy some to take back to the hotel with us 😂 definitely worth the money and was quite an experience.

Absolutely brilliant tour… I did the museum, healing water church and taverna. Paul the guide was brilliant and funny and his own enthusiasm for the tour really came across. Totally recommend this. Spiros is a wonderful man!

Great tour and excellent value for money. Had a smile or two at the museum exhibits, had a bigger smile after sampling the jug of wine given us at the taverna later. Spiros is very good fun and is determined everyone goes away smiling after sampling his wine. We bought a couple of bottles and enjoyed them back at our hotel over the following few days. Beautiful views of the mountains and over to Cephalonia. A very pleasant four hours spent, well worth €20.

What a unique and interesting experience. Guide Paul was so full of information and clearly loves the Greek culture he shares with our tour. He is very funny and the history of the place is easily absorbed from his stories. Great taverna in typical Greek village with welcoming staff and great food. I was thrilled to be able to buy local honey olive oil olives and raisins at reasonable prices.

This trip out was the highlight of our holiday. Laughed all the way. Lovely experience at the taverna at the village. Lots of wine and the food we purchased was beautiful. You could buy wine...raisins....olive oil....all from their own vineyards and olives.great experience .will go again when next in alykes

Lovely little restaurant. Kids friendly with good kids menu. The staff amazing, very friendly and helpful. Always busy but service fast and all food delicious, fresh and hot. We've tried many dishes and all of them were great. Definitely worth a visit!

Went for dinner with family, had zucchini fritter starters and they were incredible. Then waited around 45 minutes for dinner to come out for my partner and her mums mussels to be stone cold and very tough as well as the fact they had already pre-opened the mussels so no way of knowing whether or not the mussel is good or bad. Which you know by seeing them in there original state cooked. When asking the staff as to why they were open they didn’t seem to care for our concern and were generally quite rude. Would not recommend to anyone going we had been next door the night before and generally had a better experience

Very nice and spacious rooms. We stayed în triple room but fitted 4 persons without problem. Most of the rooms have street view and if you like to sleep with windows opened until 23:30-24:00 its pretty busy and some noise will be heard, but în the morning its all quiet until 9:00. I recomand it. The restaurant has various, very good food and some of romanian cuisine.

Do not ever get mussels from this place. They came cold, rubbery and open. We spoke to the staff about it and multiple people just walked away and is on the more expensive side for the area. There is a nice place next to it which is 10 times better.

Family ran, amazing place! Great vibes, very clean and can't do enough for you! Highly recommended! Can't wait to go back!

Lovely people, very nice and accommodating. Best place to go when visiting alikanas. Such a nice vibe and don’t mind children either as had a two year old and 5 year old with us and never complained when they were being a little noisy. Definitely will be back!

Everyone is so lovely here and the drinks taste great. Great place to chill out. Free pool table for entertainment and much more. Definitely a must visit. They also display all the matches on. The only thing I will say is Heineken says 5 on the menu but you’re charged 6 could have been a simple error. But wasn’t a big deal for us.

Sakis and his wife Denise are so nice and friendly. This place is worth a visit, even if only for the view out the back. Oh and the free pool table, HUGE fans, random decor and massive selection of drinks.

This is the place to be! Sakis and Dionsyia are the most welcoming people you will ever meet! Great bar on the second floor which gives you lovely views of the town. They have sports on and multiple screens for different games so if your looking for a particularly game to watch just ask! They have a good size drinks menu so you won't get bored of what to drink next! If it's not on the menu and it's not too busy am sure they will be able to help! There is a pool table and air hockey also, theirs even a dancing pole if your mood takes you! Once you been you'll be hooked, mojito, grass Hooper fun on the beach, mythos (on tap) some of my favourite drinks! Yammas🍻

Great cocktail bar with friendly staff and a cool atmosphere. Had a good night here after being seated by Claire the hostess with the mostess as we entered and made our way through the cocktail menu while watching a local band and having a few shots along the way.

Love this bar, can’t believe I hadn’t visited sooner. Lovely owners/staff. Great selection of cocktails and I loved being able to people watch from where we were sat 😂 Will definitely be going back.

Just returned from a week in Zante and had several chilled evenings in Catacombs - the cocktails were fab! Easily our favourite bar of the holiday. The aperol spritz was the best I've had outside Italy, but I tried most cocktails from the menu and they were honestly all great. All expertly prepared and served by the lovely Claire who was so friendly and made the whole experience unforgettable. Will definitely return next time we are in Alikanas.

Very disappointed with our experience at Catacombs cocktail bar We love cocktails and ordered a refreshing sex on the beach and a Mai Tai which my partner often orders both were awful not balanced and very petrol like I advised the lady they didn't taste good and she didn't offer to redo them or offer a replacement and still charged us the full price of €17 waste of money and left a horrible taste Toilet didn't have anything to dry our hands either Would not recommend we have had great cocktails in other local bars

Great place at the beach for a super relaxing day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is great, service is excellent! Rented 2 beachchairs (with matras) and a sunshade for 25 euro/day. This includes 2 bottles of water, on demand delivery of food and drinks to the beach (for reasonable prices), free shower and toilet facilities. As a watersport activity we had a ride on the aquarocket 8. When you are ready, a speedboat will pull you powerfully over the waves at breakneck speed. We had fun! Here the staff was also professional and friendly. Thank you team of Valais for giving us this relaxing day @ the beach! You people know how to provide service!

Great place to hire a boat from. Equipment well maintained. Extremely friendly and professional explaining what to so and see. No hidden charges. 100 percent recommend. Took my teenage daughter and she loved it!

Very nice place to spend the day on the beach ⛱️, only 15 to 20 Euros for a umbrella and 2 sunbeds and some of the best greek food we had in the Island with big portions and very tasty food village or meat mezes, special gyros 🌯 Lovely cocktails🍹You can order on the beach anything you want from the restaurant. Lovely couple and their team running the place. Once we got vet the prices we’ve rented their jet ski, boat and did the hot seats. All well executed and looked after - that’s guys!

We rented a boat here that we took out ourselves. The instructor (George) was very helpful and assuring, and explained the use of the boat and what to look (out) for in detail. Plainly said, we checked multiple locations and this was the first one we felt good with, not a sales pitch, but honest and proper aimed to optimally enjoy the experience. 10/10 would recommend!

I went today to Andrea’s bc I love jet ski and wanted to ride some. Andrea’s was very rude to me and okay everyone has his price 55 euro for 15 minutes is crazy but yeah I knew it before. I took 20 minutes for 65 Euro. I wanted pictures with my wife on the jet ski as it’s our special trip.. he started the time already and we lost 5 minutes bc of that. Then we went out of the safe zone and lost another 2 minutes. Jet ski it self was fun and cool. Then 16 minutes including the picture making and riding out after the engine went of and we had to return.. so I payed for 20 minutes and could ride 10 minutes effectively… when I told him this he was very very rude at me and says it’s normal that you pay for 20 minutes and just ride 10 minutes. Horrible behaviour I would never go back to him!

Andreas Watersports are definitely the place to go if you want to have a blast on a jet ski - the ones they have are fantastic and can go pretty quick! They seem to be pretty new and well maintained. Fair prices too, and the guys running it were very friendly.

ATTENTION!! I have tried 4 different jet skis at 4 different places in Zakinthos and Andrea’s was clearly the best one I tried. These machines are something else..newest and fastest! I think everyone needs to have this experience!

My boyfriend and I went on a private cruise on the northern part of the island to visit the shipwreck beach and several blue caves as well as numerous other beaches. Our skipper Panagiotis was incredibly skilled and kind, we had a wonderful time spending 5 hours with him. Mister Andreas that runs the business and is the absolute sweetest made us feel welcomed. I absolutely recommend this kind of private cruise over all the others since it’s super enjoyable, you actually discover loads of the island and it’s affordable for the service that you receive. Much love, we will choose them the next time we visit Zakynthos

All the positive reviews about this place are 100% accurate. Very friendly staff, jet skis are almost brand new, in very good condition and fast. Best price we have seen in Zakynthos.
