Rudreswara Temple locally known as Veyisthambhalagudi (Thousand Pillars Temple) is one of the fine and earliest available examples of Kakatiya art, architecture and sculpture. It was built by Rudra Deva and named after him as 'Sri RudreswaraSwamy temple with the presiding deity as Rudreswara in 1163 CE in the style of later Chalukyan and early Kakatiyan Architecture. The Plan of the temple is star shaped and triple shrine (Trikulalaya) houses three deities Rudreswara Vasudeva and Suryadeva in Western, Northern and Eastern shrines respectively around a central hall (Ranga Mandapa). The temple measures over 31 x 25m and stands on a platform raised to a height of 1 m from the ground. There is a Kalyana Mandapa located to the South of the temple famously known as Thousand Pillared Mandapa, which has about 300 pillars. The unique type of foundations known as sand box technique was integrated to raise the temple complex which subsequently turned to be the major cause for their damage and abandonment. The skill of Kakatiya Sculptors is manifest in adroit craftsmanship and flawless ivory carving technique in their art. The ingenuity of Kakatiya sculptors is visible in likes of lathe turned, and shiny polish in dolerite and granite stone sculpture and craft works of Ranga Mandapa. The roof of the temple is devoid of any superstructure at present. There is a Nandi placed in the open space placed between the main temple and the pillared mandapa. The garland of bells round the neck and with other ornaments embellished on the Nandi portrays Kakatiya touch. The elegant carvings at the richly decorated pillars under spacious ceiling spanning the embellished side slabs identical to wood carvings is an achievement of unparalleled excellence of the Kakatiya Architect. Other units here include a rectangular stepped Pushkorini, a torana entrance in the east.

History and Landmark * Ancient Heritage: The temple’s origins date back to 625 CE, built by the Chalukyan King Pulakeshin II. It was later adopted as the Kuladevata (family deity) by the mighty Kakatiya Dynasty, who ruled from Warangal. * Location/Ambiance: The temple is situated on a hillock between Warangal and Hanamkonda towns. Its most prominent landmark is the adjacent, large Bhadrakali Lake, constructed during the Kakatiya era, which offers a stunning view, especially at sunrise or sunset. * The Deity: The main attraction is the powerful 2.7-meter tall, eight-armed monolithic stone idol of Goddess Bhadrakali (a serene form of Maa Durga). 2. Temple Timings and Rituals * Darshan Hours: The temple operates in two main slots daily: * Morning: 5:30 AM to 1:00 PM * Evening: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM * Tip: Visit early in the morning for the most peaceful darshan (view of the deity) before the major crowds arrive. A must-visit place for anyone visiting Warangal — both for its spiritual energy and its ancient history. The Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal is one of the most peaceful and divine places I’ve ever visited. Located on the banks of the Bhadrakali Lake, the temple offers a perfect blend of spirituality and scenic beauty. The idol of Goddess Bhadrakali is truly powerful and mesmerizing. Beautiful temple with great vibes. Well-maintained premises and peaceful atmosphere — a must-visit in Warangal.
We visited Bhadrakali Temple 🕉️ on a weekend after a long time and were struck by the powerful vibrations and serenity of the place. It looks like it has been recently renovated, is very well-maintained, and is much more organized! We found it was quite crowded today due to a festival, but generally, it seems to be busiest on weekends. Tips for Visitors: You have a choice between the Free Darshan (longer wait ⏳) and Special Entry Darshans (₹50 and ₹100 per person) for Bhadrakali Amma. Near the entrance is the Gokulam 🐄, where you can feed the cows for a small fee. The complex includes multiple sub-temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Nagadevatha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and Navagraha. 🙏 Delicious prasadam like Pulihora and Laddus (with sugar and jaggery) are available! 😋 There is plenty of parking space 🅿️ for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. A few notes: There appears to be no wheelchair accessibility ♿❌. It was noticeable that the beautiful Bhadrakali lake shore has been developed or utilized for the surrounding Maada Veedhi.
It was an amazing experience visiting this temple! The surrounding and the giant rock on which you can see the murti of Bhagwan is really a wonderful experience! Yhe sunset 🌇 was amazing! Do visit yhis temple if you are in Warangal!
It's a divine place to visit and receive blessings from Bhadrakali amma, don't miss this when you are in Warangal, must add to the itinerary. Went here on a saturday morning, crowd was less, got the darshan without any wait. The idol is huge and exudes vibrance, never seen ammavaru in this peaceful avatar. It has both mythological and historical significance. Kakatiya architecture is imbibed into the temple elevating the overall experience. There is ample space around the temple to roam and explore,
Visited this temple almost after so many years that I hardly remember how it used to look before. It was a visit with family on a Sunday afternoon. It was not very rush and we could complete darshan very easily. While I could not recollect much on premises, the idol of goddess remains at its best blessings all the devotees visiting as always. Temple is renovated with clean surroundings. If there is too much rush do pick special tickets available if you are not able to wait for long time with either kids or elderly people. Tried to capture views through my lens and posting here. Hope it helps.
The temple is kind of okay , could be much better but it’s not maintained properly , the premises are clean but the lake behind is full of weeds and dry despite a lot of rainfall . Don’t spend too much time here .

Very good to see the historical temples and sculptures. From outside it might look like waste of time, but believe me it's 100% worth visiting. Visit during sunny days for good photos. For sure you will ve awe stuck by seeing their beauty. Also toilets are clean.
Underrated place but definitely worth going to since it’s less crowded , the site is clean and well maintained and we were told it’s even open in the evening with beautiful lighting . It’s spacious and relaxing especially when the weather is good and the ruins will remind you of Hampi . The broken shiva temple is a poignant reminder of historical brutality
This famous fort was built by Kakatiya dynasty. It's a famous tourist attraction too. Visitors get to witness the architecture , the sculptures and the pillars, walls, the grand gateways and other inner structures of the fort.

The temple is named after its chief sculptor, Ramappa, in 2021, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding architecture and the carvings are extremely detailed, especially the dancing figures and has a massive Nandi which is very beautiful.
The Ramappa Temple, also known as Rudreshwara Temple, is a masterpiece of Kakatiya architecture, located in Palampet village, Mulugu district of Telangana. Built in 1213 CE during the reign of Kakatiya ruler Ganapati Deva, the temple was commissioned by his general Recharla Rudra, from whom it derives its popular name “Ramappa” after the chief sculptor Ramappa, an unusual honor in Indian temple tradition. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is renowned for its intricate carvings, distinctive floating bricks, and striking star-shaped platform. The structure is primarily made of sandstone, while its lightweight bricks, which can float on water, were specially designed to reduce the load on the foundation. The temple stands on a six-foot-high star-shaped base, giving it a unique geometric elegance. The temple’s sanctum houses a Shivalinga, while the ceilings and pillars display intricate carvings depicting stories from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas. The Nandi mandapa, with its massive statue of Nandi facing Lord Shiva, is another highlight. Particularly striking are the detailed sculptures of dancers and musicians, which reflect the importance of dance and culture in the Kakatiya period. Though the temple has faced natural calamities, including a major earthquake in the 17th century, much of its artistry has survived. The Archaeological Survey of India maintains the site today, preserving its historical and architectural significance. In July 2021, UNESCO inscribed the Ramappa Temple as a World Heritage Site, recognizing it as “the brightest star in the galaxy of medieval temples of the Deccan.” This honor brought global attention to its cultural and engineering marvels. Ramappa Temple is not just a place of worship but also a symbol of the Kakatiya dynasty’s skill, creativity, and devotion, standing tall as one of India’s finest medieval temples.

This popular, vast lake features a hanging bridge that connects 3 of its 13 islands & ferry service.
Slide 1 of 8
A beautiful lake with a long suspension bridge near Warangal for a peaceful weekend trips to enjoy with family and friends. You see the best view points and having beautiful natural scenery pictures of the entire lake, boat riding, mountain views, night stay at cottages, etc..,
Laknavaram Lake is beautiful — islands, bridges, water, forest. But we had very aggressive monkeys around our stay. Monkeys came onto our balcony early in the morning, knocked on doors trying to grab food, and were even on the hanging bridges. We felt unsafe stepping outside and checked out early. In the parking lot, they were messing with cars. If management improves monkey control (blocking entry points, securing food, regular patrols), the place would be far more enjoyable.
Laknavaram Lake: A Beautiful Place with a Few Things to Keep in Mind Imagine a big, beautiful lake surrounded by nature. Laknavaram Lake is just that, and it has a cool bridge that takes you to an island, perfect for a picnic. But, like any place, there are good things and some not-so-good things to know. Good Things: 1. Pretty Views and Great Photos: The lake looks amazing, especially with the bridge. It's a fantastic spot for taking pictures with your family and friends. 2. Boat Fun: You can have a thrilling ride on a speed boat with four people for Rs 350. If you prefer a slower pace, there are regular boats for 15-20 people at Rs 50 each. 3. Cheap Tickets to the Island: Getting to the island is cheap. It costs Rs 10 for adults and Rs 5 for kids. So, it won't hurt your wallet. Things to Keep in Mind: 1. Parking Is not managed: There's no one managing it, so it can get crowded, especially on holidays. Be ready for a bit of traffic. 2. Not Much Food Variety: If you're hungry, there's not a lot of food options. You'll find non-veg patty and ice cream, but it's smart to bring your snacks. 3. No Shade or Sitting Places: There aren't many trees or grassy spots on the island. So, on a sunny day, finding shade or a comfy place to sit might be a bit tricky. Overall, the money collector should think of providing good environment to sit and relax which was missing. One should visit early morning when crowd is very less of late afternoon to visit the sunset. Rest of the time it horrible as there is noting to eat and no place to sit and relax.
It is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. The concept of hanging bridge is very unique. In the main island, resorts are there. One could book this room from Telangana government tourism website. Staying at resort in an island surrounded by water could be quite thrilling. Take your time to roam around the island and enjoy this picturesque place. One could enjoy boating in this lake also.
This place is awesome during Monsoon. We had visited this place in the month of August. We had stayed at laknavaram Haritha resort for one night and our stay was completely a new experience. Kids along with all of us enjoyed our stay there. We booked Deluxe AC rooms and room was huge and with a perfect view of Lake from balcony. Better to reach the location before evening if you have plan to stay at resort to avoid any communication issue after dark. Otherwise one can easily reach to location easily by following Google map. Night view of the resort is as beautiful as day views. Food is okay.
Call Haritha resort before booking ts tourism website. Water is dried . Waste of time and money. We went in May 2023 last week .did mistake by not calling the resort.
Place to visit with friends to relax and enjoy the Nature. Don't expect too much in enjoying in this place. Just for site seeing. I recommend to go on the Big Boat, not for the speed boat you can't enjoy the nature if you prefer the speed boat. Car parking during weekends is really headache.
Ideal for half day trip. Approach road is narrow and gets jammed on holidays due to rush. Very good natural view combining water body and greenery around. Have boat rides. Entry fee is nominal. Food is a problem as they have limited arrangements. Overnight stay will be a nice experience.

Not maintained properly. Musical fountain is not working since 1 year. Only name is musical garden. But there is no musical instruments. Also there is no water in Duck pond. It's like wasting time when we visit the garden. Better not to visit when you specially come is Warangal for roaming.
Firstly the musical fountain doesn't work. The park is in a complete mess and the people around dirty the beauty of the park. Plastic bottles and glasses littered everywhere, extreme foul smell from the nala running through the park. I don't know why they charge 15₹ per head for this. The park is in very bad shape.

The temple architecture is remarkable. Entire temple will look like a ratham. You can feel the divine vibes here. Lot of other temples are also here. Do visit them.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Peaceful Darshan at Wargal Temple, but Parking & Safety Need Improvement Hi all! I recently visited Sri Vidya Saraswathi Shani Temples, Wargal along with my father, mother, younger sister, and our lovely pet dog Sweety (Indian Pomeranian). This visit was part of our trip to Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swami Temple - Vemulawada, and we made a stop at Wargal temple on the way. 🙏 Darshan Experience: The darshan (దర్శనం) was very peaceful and spiritually fulfilling. The temple's architecture is beautiful, and its elevated structure gives it a divine presence. The steps leading up are quite steep, but the climb feels worth it once you reach the sanctum. 🌳 Parking Concerns: However, I did face a minor issue with the parking area. Some security personnel were allowing vehicles to go closer to the temple, while others were not — which felt a bit inconsistent. I had to park down the hill, where there was no proper shed or tree cover. This becomes a problem especially when you have pets or elderly people in the car. I request the temple management to consider planting trees — not just for vehicles but for devotees to rest and eat, as many families bring homemade food and prefer sitting under shade (a very Indian tradition!). 🕉️ Religious Observations: One more concern — I’ve noticed recently (including at this temple), that priests are not placing the Shatagopuram on devotees' heads unless money is offered. This is not in alignment with Sanatana Dharma (సనాతన ధర్మం) and must be addressed. Spiritual blessings should never be conditional. 🐾 Special note: I really appreciate that we could bring our pet along, and I hope more religious places become pet-aware and inclusive. 🌸 Lotus Pond Concern: They also have a beautiful lotus pond, but sadly, it’s maintained in a very careless way. The fencing is broken on one side, which is a serious safety hazard — especially for children, elderly, or even animals. If someone slips due to parental negligence or poor maintenance, it could lead to a tragic accident. I strongly urge the temple authorities to fix the fence and add warning signs immediately. ✅ Overall: A divine temple with serene energy, but needs serious attention in terms of parking, safety, and religious discipline. With a few improvements, this can become one of the most ideal temples for family visits.
Had an incredible experience at this divine place! The temple is open until 2 pm and reopens for darshan at 4 pm on weekends. Ample free parking space. The last slot for Aksharabhayasam is until 1:30 PM and the booking office is towards the left side of the main temple Gopuram. Annadanam is served daily until 2 pm. Truly a blessing to visit!"
Akshar Abhyas, Vidya Aarambh, and other archana available. Material available near the temple. Ample parking. Good garden nearby for a picnic.

Warangal District Administration has constructed the zoo to protect and preserve the sanctity of nature. It was open to the public. The zoo serves as both the educational and entertainment center. The Central Zoo Authority of India has ordered to convert the zoo into a national zoological park. It's best for kids to visit.
Absolutely loved my visit to Kakatiya Zoological Park! 🐅🐒🦚 This place is perfect for a peaceful day out with family, especially if you’ve got little ones who are curious about animals. The zoo has recently added some exciting new members like tigers, bisons, and barking deer – and the best part? The enclosures are spacious and feel quite natural. The overall atmosphere is calm and green, with well-marked pathways, shaded areas, and even a butterfly garden that adds a magical touch 🦋. You can tell they’ve been working on improving the facilities, and it shows. Special shoutout to the aviary and crocodile section – both were surprisingly impressive! The entry fee is super affordable, and the staff are polite and helpful. Of course, it’s not a massive city-style zoo – but that’s part of the charm. It’s clean, educational, and steadily evolving. A must-visit if you’re in Warangal or passing through! Pro tip: Go early in the day to avoid crowds and catch the animals being active!
Nature Lover's Must Visit place in Hanmakonda & Warangal Area & pride of Orugallu.
It was the cheapest tour I've ever tried and it is so exciting to see all animals especially that tiger and cheetah.
This is awesome place for your free tym enjoy 😊
Humans provide good facilities, but unfortunately, animals do not receive the same care. There is poor maintenance and inadequate care for animals. Caregivers are not attending to them with love; they are merely doing their duty. Many animals are thirsty and hungry, and the water provided to them is of very poor quality. It seems like sewage water is being supplied, as we can clearly smell that it is not fresh. Many deer are waiting for grass, and other primates are also in need. The swans are literally scratching their bodies due to filthy water and an ugly pond. Additionally, the leopard is struggling to tolerate the heat. Special arrangements must be made to care for this poor animal. Many deer appear bony from a distance, and there are no proper sheds for the different types of deer.
This zoo has its legacy for decades in Warangal. Given what it used to offer years back, this definitely should have been even better than where it stands currently. It's decent for one time visit with kids. I only encountered one Leopard and there are no tigers or lions. Staff was saying Bengal Tiger was due to arrive. Snakes are free flowing in the Zoo and we did encounter one as we were walking. So please watch out and be careful. Re-edited in 2025: Tiger Shankar is now introduced. Very great to watch it.
Peaceful environment... Well maintained place. Flora and fauna taken good care... Beautiful butterfly park. Majestic leopard and crocs... Peacocks are many and vibrant. A nice place to spend time for 3 hours. Entry fee-50/adult.

It is located at the mulugu road. The Iskcon Temple is part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) organization, which promotes the worship of Lord Krishna. Every Saturday there will be Bhagavad Gita classes for the boys. And then after kirtans, pooja and dance inside the temple it will liftup the internal energy of our body. They will provide healthy food for the devotees who attend the class. The temple typically hosts various religious activities, including kirtans (devotional singing), lectures on spiritual topics, and festivals celebrating important events in Krishna's life, such as Janmashtami (Krishna's birthday) and Radhashtami (the appearance day of Radha, Krishna's consort). It serves as a center for spiritual education and community gatherings for devotees and visitors alike. Peaceful environment 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We entered this temple on Saturday evening around 7pm while they were in pooja by singing songs of krishna, I explored the temple inside, the statues of krishna, Balaram and radha were looking peaceful, they were decorated very nicely. After the end of the pooja we had prasadham as fresh mango pieces 😃. Then we talked with the people who stayed at the temple, I felt good listening to them. The maintenance of the temple was very good with cool green grass and trees outside.

This temple is present in the up of the govindadri Hill and it is swyambhu swamy vigraham
Temple situated high on the hill, lord Vishnu is worshipped here. Mountain was curved as temple. Must visit with beautiful city view
Govindarajula Gutta is a revered site for Hindu devotees, known for its temple dedicated to Lord Ram at the hilltop (‘Gutta’ in Telugu) and a temple for Lord Hanuman at the base. Visitors must climb nearly 1,000 steps to reach the top. The site sees its highest footfall during the Sree Rama Navami festival, attracting throngs of devotees. At the hilltop rests a large Ratham (chariot) made of precious materials, believed to have been constructed by the Hazaris of Warangal.According to legend, Lord Srinivasa of Tirupati, tired of granting wishes, came to rest in a cave on this hillock. He appeared in a dream to Rudrama Devi, revealing his presence. Rudrama Devi’s men discovered the main idol of Shri Govindaraja Swamy and Lord Krishna. Subsequently, a temple was built on the hillock, housing the swayambu (self-manifested) deity between two huge rocks in a sleeping and watching posture. Since then, all Vishnu festivals have been grandly celebrated at this temple.
It seems the temple is closed temporarily. Night visit is better. Can enjoy a cool breeze on top.

Temple is well maintained, peaceful environment. Main attraction for this temple remains with lord shiva marvellous statue. Great park inside the temple which mainly reminds of spirituality.
A Kakatiya era temple with beautiful views. You can perform abhishekam to Shiv Lingam in Garbagudi.
Been here early morning, around the time of Sunrise. The temple offers a meditative experience to the visitors. The rock carving is very unique, hidden in between the green areas around the temple. Must visit if you are in Warangal (Oragallu)
This is one of the ancient temples and is located in Hanamkonda of Warangal District, very near to Padmakshi Temple and just adjascent to Harsiddhi Kala Bhairva Temple. At the front of the temple you have the idol of Kalbhairava. Inside the temple you find the shrine of Siddheshwar. The temple opens around 6 am and closes at 9.45 am. So better plan in advance. Like most of other Shiva temples in Telangana, you are allowed to get inside the sanctum sanctorum and offer your pryaer and abhishekam to lingam, as guided by the priest yourself; in this temple I found men enter without shirt only with the angavasatram or bare. There is a small pathway on the left of the temple which leads you to a park with idols of Shaivite gods installed and there is lot of greenery. Peace and Serenity pervade the atmosphere.Do not miss this temple if you are on a tour to Warangal. Om Nama Shivaya | Om Namo Narayanaya |
Small temple of lord Shiva. Has got ample space. Situated with small rocks around the temple. A small water body with some stylish rocks placed vertically and horizontally also attracts, situated in the outer periphery of the temple. Parking space is available. Road ends here and vehicle needs to be turned back after doing darshan.
Siddeshwar temple was one of the most ancient temples belonging to the 2nd century and kakatiyas 1st temple. One of the most powerful swamy in the temple. Har har mahadev ❤❤❤

Laknavaram, Pakhal, Waddepally, Ramappa, Bhadarakali … I was wondering why so many manmade lakes around Warangal.. Let’s understand Geography. Warangal / Orugallu / Ekashila Nagaram positioned towards the eastern part of Deccan plateau with huge granite rocks and hill formation making it a barren land with no rivers. Agriculture is their main economy, they had to hugely depend on seasonal rainfall due to its natural features. Kakatiya’s one of the powerful dynasties ruled over 900 years were always ahead of taking measures have sensed the requirement of conserving water for yearlong irrigation and build these huge manmade lakes serving 40000 acres of irrigation land approximately. Great isn’t it. While our ancestors were responsible enough to give us a better living, we should think or act what we are leaving for future generations. Remembering the last year monsoon ride to Srisailam we were wondering what would be the best this time which can be doable in a day & finally decided to go with Pakhal lake. Location – Pakhal Lake. Distance – 450KM approximately. Route – Hyderabad-Ghatkesar-Jangaon-Khazipet-Warangal-Narsampet-Pakhal Road condition – Overall good with few four liner road construction underway. Duration – Done in 1 Day. Ride time – 12 hours (including breaks) Leisure time – 2 hours. Climate – Pleasant with initial rain of 5 hours. It was a fun-filled ride unwinding the stress and a good time of retrospection which wasn’t done the usual way of parking the bike passing the gate, watching the lake, click some pictures & do a boat ride if available. Cruising through the downpour, wrinkled feet, break time conversations, dewdrops sliding the helmet windshield with breeze, off-roading through muddy grassy bumpy paths, panoramic view of the huge lake with mountains & greenery covering the rest half, fishing over the small streams of water, sight of goat herd mazing over the grass, getting to know hidden talents, of course capturing moments … My kinda ride and peace ..! #pakhallake #warangal #travel #mytravelstories #travelenthusiast #travelblogger #bulletter #enfiledislove #ExploreToXploreYourself #ClickEatXploreYo #LiveCEXY
This map is misleading. It doesnot take you to your desired destination. We wasted one hour of our time following this. For correct route to this lake search for haritha eco tourism
Clean lake well maintained, blue waters good place for hanging out with friends or families, picturesque landscape, Nestled between the forests from yellandu town 1.5 hrs drive awesome drive must visit, roads are bumpy
Pakhal biodiversity park is a beautiful lake to freak out with family and friends having lush green forest and one can do birding, photography etc.,having ample parking, food and clean toilets...But be careful with the monkey menace..
A place with a nice view point. The lake seems to be clean and calm. It's best if you visit during cloudy weather. The place is so peaceful and the nature will make your mind relax. Best place to visit with friends and family and to spend some quality time.

Even staying in warangal. Took a long time visit the temple. But finally today in holy (Dusshera) day. Felt very satisfied with peace and calm and there is ganesh idol which looks like real god ganesh and it's like wow. Best time to visit on saddhula bathukamma and Dusshera as my perception. And you have to go up to visit the temple and vehicles are allowed to the top.
Sri Padmakshi Temple in Hanamkonda is a historic gem and a serene spiritual site. Dedicated to Goddess Padmakshi, it offers stunning views, peaceful ambiance, and beautiful ancient carvings. Must-visit!
Good place but very low maintenance . It will be very good if maintained in a good manner. It is very close to the Hanamkonda busstand so I suggest walking more than taking an auto . In case If you want to go to the top of the temple it is better to take an auto .
Padmakshi Temple in Hanamkonda is a serene and historic site with stunning architecture. The rock-cut idol of Goddess Padmakshi and the striking Jain influence make it unique. Peaceful surroundings make it a must-visit for history and spirituality lovers. Padmakshi Temple, located in Hanamkonda, Telangana, is a significant historical and religious site, known for its unique blend of Hindu and Jain influences. The temple dates back to the Kakatiya dynasty, which ruled the region between the 12th and 14th centuries. Originally a Jain shrine, it was later converted into a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Padmakshi, an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. The temple's architecture is a remarkable representation of the Kakatiya style, featuring intricate carvings and rock-cut sculptures. One of the highlights of the temple is the four-faced pillar, or "Thoranam," which stands at the entrance. This arch-like structure is adorned with detailed carvings that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region. The idol of Goddess Padmakshi, carved out of rock, adds to the temple’s mystique and reverence. The temple sits on a hillock, offering panoramic views of Hanamkonda and its surrounding areas. Padmakshi Temple is easily accessible, situated just a few kilometers from Warangal city. Its proximity to other historical landmarks like the Warangal Fort and Thousand Pillar Temple makes it an essential part of any heritage tour of the region, offering a glimpse into Telangana’s rich past.
This temple carries a beautiful Mountain View. Rock cut statue of Sri Padmakshi looks very attractive, many devotees come and visit this temple at the time of Dasara. Bhatukamma festival remains a huge attractive for this temple.
Temple is too Good. Padmakshi Amma Temple. Which is located on the hill. Autos will reach up to the hill. We need to climb around 50-70 steps. We can see Goddess in three different avataras here. Also Temple is located in between mountains everything here is feast to watch with your eyes. Happy to be here. Peaceful Place. 🙇🏻🙇🏻🙇🏻
It's as though we are seeing the real goddess ✨️ Lord ganesh resting is also good... and it is said that there medication can be done easily... And ammavari padalu darshan chesukovachu... Temple is surrounded by big rocks...and we go between them... that is also good...
This temple gives the connection between सनातन धर्म and जैन धर्म. In the temple premises carving of Lord Mahavir is prominently visible. Along with the deity Padmakshi देवी, महावीर स्वामी जी is also there in front. Situated on a small hillock so one needs to climb up using the stairs. A perfect site for ध्यान and साधना.
