Sitabuldi fort

Mentioned on
24 lists
Fortress
Historical landmark
Sitabuldi Fort, located in Nagpur, is a significant historical site perched atop a hill. It played a crucial role in the Battle of Sitabuldi in 1817. The fort's rich history comes to life as visitors explore its grounds, with stories of the Maratha Empire and the battle echoing within its walls. Although not frequently open to the public, it adds to the allure of this unique destination.
Sitabuldi Fort site of the Battle of Sitabuldi in 1817, is located atop a hillock in central Nagpur, in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The fort was built by the British after they won this area. The area surrounding the hillock, now known as Sitabuldi, is an important commercial hub for Nagpur. In 2019 118 TA Battalion stationed here was moved to Bhusawal to make place for Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat (UMANG) Sub-Area Headquarters of the Indian Army. UMANG Sub-Area Headquarters had shifted from Mumbai to Nagpur in 2018. The fort is opened for public on three days of the year: 26th January, 1st May and 15th August, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Ankit R — Google review
As the fort is open to public on very restricted days, the crowds on 25-1-2025 were tremendous. There was more than half km long line. Inside also crowds everywhere. Cell where Gandhi ji was jailed, Tunnels, grounds all were full of visitors. People were in cheerful mood. Perhaps it is the lack of opportunity to visit, which is adding charm to this fort. Several Boards are displayed which tell about history of this place. Entry is free. But they were randomly checking Aadhar Card. THIS FORT TENTATIVELY OPENS ON:- 1. JAN 26 JAN (Republic Day) 2. MAY: 01 MAY (Maharashtra Diwas) 3. AUG: 15 AUG (Independence Day) And , Second Sunday of the Month (Entry Gate Time: 08:30 to 15:00 hrs) Govt. issued Photo ID Proof is Compulsary. Foreigners are not allowed.
Alok — Google review
Awesome experience. Army officials are so helpful. You can visit the fort only for 3 days in a year. 26th of January, 1st of May and 15th of August. You must carry your ID proof(nationality). You will get drinking water every places in the fort. Can't express my feelings. Must visit the place .

Sitaburdi Fort in Nagpur is a historic and picturesque site that offers a glimpse into the region's past. Perched atop a hill, the fort provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding cityscape. Its architecture reflects a blend of historical influences, and exploring the fort's ramparts and ruins can be quite fascinating for history buffs and tourists alike. The fort’s serene setting makes it a peaceful spot for a leisurely visit, though it’s advisable to bring some water and wear comfortable shoes as the climb can be a bit steep. While the site is not extensively restored, its historical significance and the scenic views it offers make Sitaburdi Fort a worthwhile stop for those interested in Nagpur's heritage and enjoying a tranquil escape from the city's bustle.
Arshad S — Google review
Absolutely loved my visit to the Sitabuldi Fort! It's not your typical tourist destination, open only on three days a year (Republic Day, Maharashtra Day, and Independence Day), but that only adds to its charm. The fact that it's an active military base makes it even more unique. A Step Back in Time: Walking through the fort gates felt like stepping back in time. The weathered stone walls whispered stories of battles fought and empires won. The war memorial within the fort grounds is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by soldiers. The view from the ramparts is breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista of the sprawling city of Nagpur. Limited Window for Exploration: Here's a heads-up for potential visitors: plan your trip carefully! The fort's limited access window (three days a year) requires some forethought. But trust me, it's worth the wait. **A Must-Visit for History Buffs and Photography Enthusiasts** If you're a history buff or a photography enthusiast, the Sitabuldi Fort is a must-visit. The unique combination of history, architecture, and patriotism makes it an unforgettable experience. Just be sure to check the calendar beforehand to ensure you don't miss out!
Dash A — Google review
It is open only 4 days in a year 1: independence day 2: republic day 3: maharashtra day 4: mahatma gandhi jayanti All over this place is good very well maintained. Now its a base of Indian army
Shivam J — Google review
The Sitabuldi Fort isn't just a historical landmark; it's a sleeping giant that awakens with a majestic roar on special occasions. My recent visit on Maharashtra Day left me spellbound. A Fort Steeped in History: The fort's rich history is palpable as you walk through its grounds. The stories of the Maratha Empire and the Battle of Sitabuldi come alive within the fort walls. The war memorial stands as a silent guardian, honoring the fallen heroes. It's a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom. A Rare Opportunity: The limited access to the fort (only three days a year) adds to its mystique. It's a rare opportunity to explore a place usually off-limits, making the experience even more special. The fort's architecture itself is captivating, with its sturdy bastions and strategic layout. A Local Gem with National Significance: While the fort might not be sprawling or ostentatious, its significance lies in its local history and connection to the national struggle for independence. It's a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by those who appreciate the stories woven into the fabric of our nation. Plan Your Visit and Be Enthrallment: If you're fortunate enough to be in Nagpur during one of the days the fort is open, don't miss this chance! It's a captivating experience that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for Nagpur's past and its role in India's history.
Darshan G — Google review
It remains open only on 15th August, everyone can go here and get proof of ID first. Now the environment of Andar is very good, there is a very old fort and there are many materials from ancient times.

Nagpur offers a variety of picnic spots for every type of traveler, from religious sites like Ramdham and Adasa to adventure destinations like Waki Wood and Khekranala. Futala Lake, located in the heart of the city, is a popular spot for picnics and leisurely strolls. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty and colorful fountains that light up in the evening, creating a romantic atmosphere.
Waterbody is covered with greenary, eateries, very good accessibility. Spectacular sunset can be seen
Mousumi B — Google review
The Lake is fine in terms of Natural Beauty BUT attention of authorities are required for keeping the place clean out there. Natural Beauty is good but people throw the garbage alongside the beautiful lake. Moreover, there are Benches but not alongside the lake. Where there are Benches, lake views are restricted from there. Placement is an issue. More Surprisingly, Public Toilets are locked, so you don't have Basic facilities... Jaago Nagpur Municipality Jaago...

No fountain , no boating just go enjoy the lake and relax also there was a mob when i have visited people were singing and dancing during Christmas time . Still lot to improve
Yeah B — Google review
It's a good place. It looks more beautiful in the evening due to all the lights. But I was not that lucky enough to witness the fountain show , as it was opened only on trial basis , but if you visit it at day or evening you'll will get to see beautiful sunset, I got late and rain also soiled my visit
Palash S — Google review
Small and no water show now. Just a lakeside small street food corner
Randheer K — Google review
Good place to hangout with friends and family in the evening.. you can sit there and feel the air
Harshada R — Google review
I went during the afternoon and there was absolutely nothing to do. The place was deserted and the parking took quite a long time to find and it was full of cow dung. If you visit during the evening there is a light show but during the day it is empty.

Futala lake is very famous in nagpur but I don't think it is worth it place... Only couples are here and nothing more... View is also not much attractive... But so many food stalls are here where anyone can have some local and streat food... Fountain is not functioning all days... Fountain will work only special days just like 26 January and 15 August etc...

Maharaj Bagh Zoo

Mentioned on
15 lists
Zoo
Maharaj Bagh Zoo, originally built by the Bhonsle monarchs, has been transformed into a nature preserve and zoo. It features endangered plant species and wildlife, making it a favorite among nature enthusiasts. The zoo houses various animals like lions, leopards, tigers, alligators, and peacocks. Additionally, the well-maintained botanical garden with a diverse collection of plants adds to the attraction of this century-old zoo.
Slightly smaller but great to see multiple animals. All animals are in a healthy condition and taken care of well. Safety is also good.
Gaurav D — Google review
Main attractions are Tiger, leopard, bear and deer. Not much apart from these animals. Animals are held in old style cages/enclosure. Need massive redevelopment like mumbai's zoo. They also have a small aquarium inside the zoo. Lots of fun activities at the entrance. Not well maintained.
Shivaram T — Google review
Maharaj Bagh Zoo, located in Gorepeth, Nagpur, is a delightful spot for a day out, especially for families and nature lovers. This small but well-maintained zoo offers a good variety of animals including leopards, bears, tigers, peacocks, parrots, deer, and the rare blue bull. It’s fascinating to observe these animals up close, making it a great place for children and wildlife enthusiasts. One of the highlights is the separate aquarium, which houses an array of beautiful and vibrant fish species. It's a peaceful and educational experience to wander through, adding to the diversity of the zoo’s attractions. There are also recreational areas inside the zoo, such as see-saws, rope slides, and slides, perfect for kids to enjoy. These play areas are thoughtfully placed and add a fun element to the visit. Outside the entrance, you’ll find food stalls where you can grab a quick snack or refreshment, which is convenient after exploring the zoo. The Cannon Ball tree outside the entrance is a unique attraction and definitely worth a look. It’s quite rare, and its unusual flowers and fruits are an interesting sight. Overall, Maharaj Bagh Zoo is a nice place for a short, enjoyable visit in Nagpur. It's well-suited for families, and the calm environment and decent facilities make it a pleasant experience. Rating: 4/5
Sourav B — Google review
Maharajbagh Zoo is a lovely little spot, especially if you're looking for a peaceful break in the city. The botanical garden is a major highlight—it's very well-maintained with beautiful, shaded walking paths that make for a pleasant stroll. I enjoyed seeing the variety of animals, including leopards, tigers, monkeys, bears, deer, mongooses, and peacocks. The different species of parrots were a fun sight, and the small aquarium with different types of fish and turtles was a nice addition. What makes the visit even more enjoyable are the fun activities available. There's a children's play area with slides and other things to keep the kids entertained, as well as a toy train that's a hit with young visitors. Just outside the entrance, you'll find a small "chaupati" or food court, which is a convenient place for a snack. A word of caution for those not from Maharashtra: the food here tends to be quite spicy, so be sure to ask for a milder version if you're not used to it. While the garden and additional attractions are fantastic, the animal enclosures themselves could use some improvement and a bit more space. The zoo is quite old, and it shows in some of the cages. It's a great place for kids to see a variety of animals up close, and the nominal entry fee makes it very accessible. Overall, it's a perfect place for a quick visit, a family outing, or a serene walk through the gardens. It's not a large, modern zoo, but it has a nostalgic charm and offers a nice escape.
Priyank N — Google review
Quite big size of expected of a zoo. Entry ticket is ₹40 for adults and ₹20 for children. The maintenance is just like is most of the zoos is other cities. Tigers, leopard, black bear are main attractions. Dear, Nilgais also shown. An aquarium is also present. At the entrance, there are several eating joints. There is children playing area also. Large grounds. Some animals are depicted in form of model e.g. Rhino. The iron wire nets are all around the animal enclosures. This hinders the view but protects animals from viewers. Good place for Children.
Alok — Google review
Maharaj Bagh is a place that holds a special charm and history in Nagpur. It’s still a nice spot to visit, especially for those who enjoy a peaceful environment in the middle of the city. However, it no longer has the same vibe and liveliness it once did. Earlier, the atmosphere and attractions made it feel unique, but over time, some of that essence has faded. Still, it remains an important landmark and a place worth visiting at least once.
Mogra S — Google review
The Greens: The garden is lovely—well-maintained greenery, clean walking paths, and plenty of shade. Perfect for a calm afternoon. Animal Section: You’ll find tigers, sloth bears, monkeys, deer, birds, and a small aquarium. But enclosures feel dated and some exhibits were closed during my visit. Facilities: No cafeteria or dedicated restpoints. Needs more washrooms and shaded benches. Some signboards were damaged or absent. Best For: Local families with young children or a quick weekend stroll. Not ideal for wildlife enthusiasts or those seeking a safari-style zoo experience. Improvements Needed: Modernize habitats, improve hygiene, add visitor facilities, expand animal variety. The proposed redevelopment promises this, but it's still pending. While Maharajbagh Zoo serves as a nostalgic green spot in Nagpur and a budget-friendly family outing destination, it falls short in terms of animal welfare and infrastructure. If you’re looking for a short, relaxed visit with kids—go ahead. But for wildlife lovers or those expecting a modern zoo experience, the upcoming Gorewada Safari Park might be more satisfying. Let me know if you’d like a condensed version or something tailored for Google Maps or social media!

Ambazari Lake

Mentioned on

Lake
Nestled just 7 kilometers from the vibrant city of Nagpur, Ambazari Lake stands as a stunning historic reservoir that captivates visitors with its expansive gardens and picturesque waterfront walkways. This enchanting destination is not only the largest lake in Nagpur but also one of India's most beautiful lakes, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Ambazari Lake, on Nagpur’s southwest border in Maharashtra, was constructed in 1870 under Bhonsle rule to supply water to the city via clay pipes, serving as a key resource for over 30 years. Named “Ambazari” (Marathi for “mango”) due to surrounding mango trees, it’s the largest of Nagpur’s 11 lakes and the Nag River’s source. The adjacent Ambazari Garden, established in 1958 over 18 acres, and the newer Ambazari Biodiversity Park nature trail, developed by the forest department, enhance its recreational and ecological value. What Can You See There The lake offers serene waters for boating (paddleboats and rowboats) and scenic sunset views. The garden features lawns, a children’s play area, and a defunct musical fountain, while the 4.5-km nature trail in the Biodiversity Park winds through grasslands and forest, showcasing over 100 bird species—resident and migratory—like kingfishers, herons, and rare cinnamon bitterns. Deer, peacocks, and aquatic life like turtles add to the biodiversity, with watchtowers and blinds for observation. Timings Lake and garden: Open daily, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. Nature trail: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM and 3:00 PM–6:00 PM (closed Mondays). Best Season to Visit October to March (15–25°C) is ideal for pleasant weather and migratory bird sightings. Summers (April–June) reach 45°C, and monsoons (July–September) make trails muddy. Ticket Prices Lake: Free entry; boating fees apply (₹20–50). Garden: ₹10 (₹5 for kids). Nature trail: ₹10 (plus ₹30 parking). Photography is free.

As I have visited multiple cities and towns having good and clean lakes. This one hits differently. This lake has a raw feel to it. Locals come here in the morning and evening with family and friends. Nice place to come afar from City lights.
Ajay R — Google review
Relaxing place to walk around the embankment. However, there are no eateries. No sitting place either. Parking is paid. Halfway through is the access to the Metro station.
Ashwini O — Google review
It is one of the most beautiful spots in Nagpur. Whenever there's rain, this place along with Futala becomes the first priority for the Nagpuri people. This place has a very eye catching view and the sunset looks so attractive from here. The place is free to visit. Some people also do swimming here but it's very risky as many people have lost their life here due to the very deep water level. So I recommend parents to keep their kids away from the lake. Just enjoy the view. The parking is free. You can part anywhere in the free space. It is one of the lovers spots as well. So you may find many couples here into the bushes sometimes during Summer or Winter. I have seen many times Police having inspection here as it was one of the most suspicious places once upon a time. But now it's a lot safer, still not recommended during dark as it may be fatal to your life.
Ujjwal D — Google review

Morning is the best time to see lake in its glory. You may also want to visit at night for the huge bats that get off from the trees. You can swim in the lake (at your own risk) and the garden nearby offers a good morning experience.

Deekshabhoomi, a grand Buddhist stupa inaugurated in 2001, holds immense significance for Ambedkarite Buddhists and history enthusiasts. It marks the location where Dr. B.R. Ambedkar led around 400,000 followers in embracing Buddhism in 1956, signifying a historic shift towards social equality. The architecture is truly impressive and visiting offers a peaceful escape from city life, with ample space for meditation and reflection.
Deekshabhoomi is an incredibly significant and sacred site for followers of Ambedkarite Buddhism and history enthusiasts alike. This is the very place where Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a visionary leader and the architect of the Indian Constitution, embraced Buddhism along with around 400,000 of his followers on October 14, 1956. The event marked a pivotal moment in Indian history, symbolizing a mass movement towards social equality and justice. The architecture of Deekshabhoomi is truly awe-inspiring. The large dome-shaped stupa, designed by Sheo Dan Mal, is not only a symbol of peace and enlightenment but also the largest hollow stupa in the world. It is a masterpiece of architectural design, looking majestic both from the outside and inside. The surrounding premises are peaceful and well-maintained, with the famous Bodhi tree adding to the spiritual ambiance of the place. Visiting Deekshabhoomi is a humbling and enriching experience. It provides a deep insight into the life and philosophy of Dr. Ambedkar, his struggles for equality, and his embrace of Buddhism as a path to liberation from social oppression. The place offers a fantastic blend of history, culture, and spirituality. It is especially beautiful during Dussehra, when thousands of devotees gather to commemorate the conversion anniversary, creating an atmosphere of unity and devotion. In terms of facilities, Deekshabhoomi is well-equipped for tourists, with basic amenities like drinking water, clean toilets, and parking. The site attracts visitors from all over the world, including many from Buddhist countries like Japan and Thailand, making it a vibrant and diverse place. Overall, Deekshabhoomi is not just a tourist destination; it is a place of pilgrimage, reflection, and education, making it a must-visit for anyone traveling to Nagpur. Jai Bhim!

It's really nice to have such a wonderful stupa! Which reminds us about the historic transformation of the Great Indian Emperor Ashoka... And also religious transformation of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar who embraced millions of backward caste people to religion of humanity the Buddhism

I visited Deeksha Bhoomi in Nagpur, and it’s definitely a place that holds great historical and cultural importance. The site is known for being where Dr. B. R. Ambedkar embraced Buddhism, and inside, you can see a detailed journey of his life, from his early days to his social work and final years. There’s a large stupa with two statues of Lord Buddha, and a statue of Emperor Ashoka nearby. Outside, the 22 vows that were used during the conversion from Hinduism to Buddhism are displayed, along with the Preamble of the Indian Constitution (in its updated version). The area is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, with ample parking and space for large gatherings. Whether or not you follow the ideology, the place offers an insightful look into an important part of India’s history and reform movements.

Dr Ambedkar ji , highest intellectual personality ever decided to renounce Hinduism. One of the largest Conversion ever from Hinduism to Buddhism. Water & Amusement Parks
Krazy Castle Aqua Park is a popular destination in Nagpur, designed like a medieval castle and offering a range of water slides, rides, and kid-friendly games. It attracts both locals and out-of-town tourists, especially during the hot summer months. The park frequently introduces appealing packages for groups, as well as exclusive offers for corporate groups, schools, and colleges.
Located in the heart of Nagpur. Many amenities are there. Because of road construction and metro's construction it was closed for many days. Marriages, receptions and birthdays also takes place. Prices are hiked from several years. Even Swami Vivekananda' s memorial and Ambazari Lake is in proximity. You can check them either. Overall this place makes family time more great, enjoyable and memorable.

The landscaped water park, west of Gaza City,[7] featured 3 swimming pools, a canal 100 meters long, three water slides, ponds with pedalos, a restaurant, a cafe, and a quiet area shaded by a tent where adults could sit on carpets and listen to music.[2][3][5] The atmosphere was secular, with popular secular tunes playing over the loudspeakers and women in international-style clothing.[5] A lifting of the government ban on women smoking in public made it legal for women to smoke the popular nargilas at the Park's cafe.[8] The park was built with materials assembled from war-torn buildings as well as materials brought through the Gaza Strip smuggling tunnels.[2] Construction was completed in six months.[2] Admission was 10 shekels, the equivalent of about $2.60 as of mid-2010, but using the water slide costs another 5 shekels, and going into the pool costs an extra 20 shekels.[2] The park cost $2 million to build.[5] According to Ayman Barawi, the Park's financial manager, "This park is a form of escape. People need a chance to escape from the stress. We brought 'air' to the people.

The Japanese Rose Garden, located in the Civil Lines area of Nagpur, is a serene and picturesque floral oasis. The garden features a variety of vibrant roses and lush green shrubs arranged in the traditional Japanese style. It's a popular spot for leisurely activities such as walking, jogging, and yoga. Couples are drawn to this romantic setting with its panoramic views and refreshing breeze.
Visiting the Japanese Garden in Nagpur felt like a refreshing escape from the city hustle. The garden is lush and full of greenery, with winding walking tracks amidst tall trees that make it feel almost like a mini forest in the heart of town. I enjoyed a peaceful stroll here; the area is so well maintained and tranquil that it’s easy to forget you’re still in Nagpur. What stood out most was the trekking like experience. The uphill paths, especially around Seminary Hills, offer a light, enjoyable challenge for anyone who loves nature walks. Walking here felt invigorating like a blend of garden walk and soft trekking, perfect for fitness lovers or those simply wanting to immerse themselves in nature. If you visit after the rains, the greenery is even more vibrant, making it ideal for an early morning or evening walk. It’s a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking to unwind, take photos, or simply spend some quiet, active time outdoors...

The japanese Garden is an peaceful escape within the city. Inspired by traditional Japanese landscaping,it features lush greenery, beautiful Pathways and small ponds, making it perfect for relaxing Walk and quiet moments. Free entry from morning 6 am to 8 am. Paid entry from 9 am to evening 6 pm. Entry fee is Rs. 10 per head. Parking space is available on Roadside. But nowadays you can see couples engaged in Deep romance at every corner of the Garden. Don't go there if you are single in search of Privacy. there is nothing for you.

Nothing "Japanese" or "Garden" about this place. Parking: 2 wheelers are parked at the front of the gate. 4 wheelers don't have a spot. The place is full over overgrown, and unkempt plants and trees. Walking on the tracks feels like walking through a thick foliage. Perhaps some would like it. Picnic area - all benches were occupied by couples. 10/- entry fee

This place must have been good many years back, but today it is a place flocked by "Love Birds"..you have couples in various intimate postures all over the place...and it is only general public which may get embarrassed!! There is nothing Japanese about it except probably the design.. Greenery is in plenty though..and Bamboo Clump/Clusters are all over which gives the place a distinct identity..with thick trees/foliage giving green cover all over... It is supposed to be a Japanese Rose Garden but of course Roses are not there always!!
Prashant B — Google review
Dropped by around 7:00 AM, and the cool breeze paired with dense shade made it perfect for a morning walk. Some parts felt a bit wild and slightly unkempt, but it actually gave the place a nice, natural vibe-almost like a mini trek. Saw people walking, doing stretches, and even playing badminton. Peaceful, green, and quietly alive.

Disappointing Experience at Japanese Garden, Seminary Hills, Nagpur I recently visited the Japanese Garden in Seminary Hills, Nagpur, hoping for a peaceful retreat amidst nature, but unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. Currently, the garden is undergoing renovation, and the entire area seems more like a construction site than a place for relaxation. Internal roads are cluttered with building materials iron rods, piles of cement, and other construction debris making it not just untidy but also hazardous for visitors. The once serene pathways are now lined with scattered garbage, further diminishing the garden’s charm. What’s even more disappointing is that despite the ongoing renovation, the authorities are still charging an entry fee. It feels unfair to pay for access when the place is clearly not in a condition to offer any meaningful experience. There’s little to explore, and the usual tranquil vibe of the Japanese-style landscaping is completely overshadowed by the chaos of construction work. In its current state, I would not recommend visiting the Japanese Garden. There are many better options in Nagpur for nature lovers and families, such as the Futala Lake, Ambazari Garden, or even a stroll through Seminary Hill’s forested trails. These spots offer a far more enjoyable and clean environment compared to the garden’s present condition. It would be more responsible for the authorities to temporarily close the garden during the renovation period, ensuring visitor safety and preserving its reputation. Until the work is completed and the garden is restored to its former beauty, it’s best to explore other, more well-maintained spots in the city. A disappointing visit overall, hopefully, the renovation brings positive changes, but for now, it’s not worth your time or money.

Service was 💯 Rakesh ensured we get everything on table with no time. Thanks Rakesh . Food quantity: 5 Breakfast was buffet so unlimited. Dinner whenever we ordered it was decent. Food quality: 4 You are more focused to cater to the international clients I guess coz even after requesting a few times we got blant food. We like our bhurji properly tossed n with salt n pepper in it. N sugar boiled in with milk n Patti makes a chai. Aloo paratha was particularly bad. In Delhi if u can't make parathas good 🙄 Presentation: Minus actually. Zero efforts taken . Service-5 Ambience 🙄 ok 4 may be In room dining here is big no no. Only thing which we ordered in room n was good is Dal tadka Price: exorbitant minus on this one too. I wouldn't mind paying so much if the quality is that good. But look at the pictures. The way you served food in room was pathetic. N let me tell u folks the meal u see in the last pic was for almost 3500INR. . Please get your parathas n chai improved. And better presentation for inroom dining please.

Great place to spend quality time with friends . But the quality of food and service lacks on several fronts. The staff is not attentive and we had to follow up several times for small things. We went for buffet and felt the options for vegetarians were limited.
Nimish S — Google review
Quantity is very less for alacarte. You basically get less than 50% from what you would get at at other restaurants. Naans are smaller than chapatis. Service wise the staff are focused on foreigners for tips. You have to wave and callout the waiters.
Bobby D — Google review
We went for dinner at Radisson Blu on our anniversary. We got the table immediately, there were two options of Alacarte and Buffet. We chose Veg Buffet. Coming to the detailed review, I will break it down to following subpoints: Ambience: It was decent which is expected. Lavish seating arrangement with proper lighting. Collection: 2 starters, 1 soup, 4 to 5 main course, 6 to 7 salads each for veg and non veg, desserts were common. Food quality: It was completely contrary to our expectations, the food quality was horrible. Only veg lasgnia and daal makhani were nice. Rice wasn't even cooked properly. Desserts were ok. Service: It was ok and the housekeeping staff was less attentive. Money: Same charge for both veg and non veg meals. Final Conclusion: We need to spend 3k for an experience which wasn't even worth the money spent. We can get a much better experience and leave our stomach satisfied by going to Barbeque Nation or Little Italy for that matter rather than going to Radisson Blu. It is just the name but nothing more than that. One more thing unlike other big chains which usually ask for occasions, they don't even bother for asking. We told them ourselves that we were celebrating our anniversary upon which they said we will offer a pastry from our end.
Anshika C — Google review
Ambience and service is great because we know it's Radisson. 😍 In starters , for both non veg and veg only 2 options . Starters were not very tasty but good. 😋 In main course, they had many options for both veg and non veg. I had everything in non veg and liked none ! Literally none! 👎 Lamb biryani was okay. In dessert, too many options were there. But only 2 to 3 were liked by everyone and many were not liked.👎 Pani Puri was worst.👎 Ice cream was good !!😋 Overall I would say taste was really really bad.

Marathi restaurant
Vishnuji Ki Rasoi is a delightful family restaurant nestled in Bajaj Nagar, Nagpur, that offers a unique DIY grilling experience alongside an extensive buffet featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The charming village-themed ambiance transports diners to a rustic setting reminiscent of rural life, making it an ideal spot for large gatherings or intimate dinners.
Vishnuji Ki Rasoi in Nagpur is a delightful homage to authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, offering a vegetarian thali experience that is both traditional and indulgent. Owned by the celebrated chef Vishnu Manohar, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving the rich flavors of Maharashtra. The thali here is a feast for the senses, featuring classics like Zunka Bhakar, Puran Poli, Kadhi, and Varhadi-style dishes. But trust me, the food is worth it. The freshly made Bhakari, served straight from the stove, and the unlimited servings of thali items make the experience truly special. If you’re in Nagpur and looking for an authentic Maharashtrian meal, Vishnuji Ki Rasoi is the place to be!

An authentic dining experience of Maharashtrian cuisine, everything from thecha to bhakri and pithla and all kinds of achaar, they offer a different menu everyday. The vibe is old school and the decor is minimal. It's an open buffet dining and both lunch and dinner are served. Belongs to celebrity chef Vishnu ji who holds the world record for 24 hour non stop dosa making.
Shreya G — Google review
Right out of the youthful mainstream, I visited this place for a Maharashtrian food party. It began with starters—soups and crispy sabudana vada—followed by authentic delicacies like kredis, bajra rotis, kheecha, and more. The experience was truly worth it! Though I felt ₹500 was a bit on the higher side, the warm atmosphere, excellent service, and kind people made it all worthwhile
Pooja D — Google review
This restaurant serves Maharashtrian thali and best part is that it is buffet style. Offers a soft drink and a starter in the beginning. You can begin your main course with green and red thecha, pickle, salad, singdana powder, etc. Then move to vegetables, rice, dal, kadhi, zunka, bhaker, all very hot, fresh and tasty. We had pakora as starter. Then alu gobi rasawali sabji, mutter misal, jowari roti, rice, dal, zunka, kadhi, and also puran poli. They make fulka roti and jowari roti live in front of you. After the khana is over, you can make your paan Sopari yourself. If you are like Maharashtrian food, then you will love this place. A must visit place for veg food in Nagpur..

A bit premium entry ticket...but nice experience overall.

Authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. You have to take a token first, and then it’s a self-service buffet system. The food tasted good, but what disappointed us was the slow service, as most of the dishes were served too late. They could have at least arranged better cooling for customers, as it was too hot inside the restaurant. Puran Poli is a must try

Third class restaurant in middle nagpur, it's a scam going on in ₹470 per head, for adults and child both. It's showing multiple foods and sweets item in menu board at time of payment, but when you enter 50% menu vanish. No sweets no starters no desert provided by them. And when you ask questions for that, there is a foolish answer given by them. So please don't waste your money 💰 and don't waste your precious time there. Only scam 😭😭😭 first experience worst experience.

The Breakfast Story is a vibrant and trendy vegetarian cafe that focuses on serving delicious all-day breakfast options. The restaurant boasts a bright decor with sectional seating, creating a hip vibe for visitors to enjoy. The interior design features quirky and funky elements, such as second-hand goods repurposed into unique decorations. Guests can relax in the calm ambiance while savoring delectable breakfast items and soaking up the good atmosphere with friends.
The Breakfast Story Nagpur is one of the best breakfast joints in Nagpur. They have a very unique retro themed restaurant that takes you back to your childhood days. The collection of cassettes or old classic mobile phones or books brings in a lot of pleasant memories. Food is a wow and definitely something unique for us especially after eating a lot of South Indian and Maharashtrian menu. We were a group of 10 and some of my favourite menu items were the French breakfast, smoked chicken sandwich and the Spanish omelette. Service was very slow and it was primarily because they were understaffed and probably because of Diwali. I would any day recommend them for the food and will be one of my favourite places to visit to eat in Nagpur.

We recently visited The Breakfast Story. It's such a cute and cozy cafe with a unique menu. They have different breakfast platters and many other options. Stumbled to this cafe one sunny afternoon in Nagpur. I enjoyed the ambience more than the food! I had butter chicken rice. The butter chicken was ok but the rice was dry. I couldn't get an ola or uber from this location to return back.
Greeshma G — Google review
This is one which brought in a lot of nostalgia and though after a point it feels a little too overwhelming but still for a first visit during a very short trip to Nagpur, this beautiful place is a break that we need from the daily hustle bustle of our life with it’s quirkiness that attracts your attention to the tiniest detail to the attention the architect couple have given to every inch of this cafe. The photos and video(s) that you see in this review are exactly how this place looks and feels. My only reason of reducing one star is for them not having Spanish breakfast the day we visited, which was the main reason I visited, but yet the food we all friends had was amazingly tasty and quantity is quite justified for the price they charge. Would highly recommend it. My suggestion would be since the place helps us travel back in time, the owners could keep a no-phone rule for their customers and incentivise them for doing so.

An idle breakfast place in Nagpur, one of the many that comes to your mind when you are thinking of a place for breakfast. They have a wide variety to choose from, ranging from Indian, Continental to English breakfast. The service was a bit slow and it can be a bit annoying as usually you are hungry when you go for a breakfast, right? The owner was right there and was very friendly and hospitable, she made sure that the service was faster. The food tasted good and overall it was a nice experience with my friends and kids.

Highly recommended for its unique vibe and great food.

Another great place to have some mughlai, Asian or Continental delicacy in Nagpur. They have a lovely ambiance with descent amount of sitting options along with a bar upfront. The walls are engrossed with food paintings and there are some lovely hangings lights. Hot n Sour Soup was good but a bit spicy as expected. Mutton Rogan Josh was well prepared and mutton was just perfectly cooked to attain a soft texture, but was a bit too oily. Dal Makhni was really delicious and cooked very well. Naan were served soft and hot. Overall a great place to bring friends, family or colleagues. The staff is very friendly and it's not too heavy on pocket too.

We wanted to organise a party for 30 pax, occasion was a kind of farewell party for one my my employee. We went searching for fine dine restaurants & Chill n Grill was closest to what we were looking for. They have both A la carte & table d’hote menus. They offered us the veg menu, as in navratri they don’t offer non-veg & drinks to the customer. Once we paid the booking amount, they started calling us for some tweaks in the menu. They asked for change in welcome drink, starters, daal, rice & desserts. We didn’t like that one bit, but we were helpless as we had already paid the booking amount. Eventually, the party went well. The ambience there is nice, warm & cosy & it gives you a homely feel with the sofas & lighting having a drawings room kind of aesthetic to it. The food too was great. No complaints here. The staff people were very proactive & served everything at the right time, taking care of all the guests. We told them to play bollywood music, not too loudly & they obliged. They have a DJ counter too (charges extra). All in all we were happy with the services, despite a few hiccups here & there. We definitely recommend it for its food, taste, ambience & prompt services.

One of the legendary restaurant in the city, which has been there for many years. We went there for dinner and the main striking point was that the entrance is still from the back although they have renovated the front. The seating area is a little bit crowded with tables very close to each other. They have plenty of seating available but most of the time it's full and people have to wait especially on weekends. We ordered dal makhni which was really good, dhaba chicken which was a bit bland but the chicken was cooked perfectly, and laacha paratha which was dipped in butter but was decent. The portion size is good and the pricing is moderate. The service is good but as it is crowded, it might take some time. They also added an extra dish in my bill, so please check the bill properly before paying. Overall a good place with a variety of options for non-veg.

Food is ok type. Not so great... But for this, the way they treat the customers looks so bad. They should have minimized the hype they give when we are in this premises. Much costlier which one couldn't afford all the time. Chicken is good here in all means. But sure they have to improve on their service to customers. Not expected to have such bad experience.

It would be difficult to find another as good, that's why we have been regulars for many years without ever being disappointed. .

Delicious food . Terrible wait . Also the place could maintain a little bit of more hygiene. We waited outside for over 1 hour . The wait is not systematic and we could see some of the folks coming in later getting preference. The seating isnt clean and neither are the restrooms. They could have an indoor outside section with ac non ac but currently its not great. The food however makes up for all the flaws. Delicious and fresh butter chicken , the fish amritsari was crisp and the paneer kababs were soft and juicy . The food came in fast and no complaints in the service in general. I hope this place gets an uplift soon though and make it welcoming for everyone.

It has an extensive menu featuring dishes from different cuisines, which are highly enjoyable. The atmosphere is youthful and vibrant, catering to a young crowd. The burnt garlic noodles are especially impressive. The cafe provides both indoor and outdoor seating options. While the coffee poured over may not have met expectations, overall the food is delicious.
A cafe with lots of coffee options. They know what differentiates one coffee from other. You will find a lot of coffee options and also you can ask for customisation. Ambiance: Mind ambiance with cool music playing. Loud enough that you can talk. Service: Good Taste: A separate menu for food. Taste was nice and served quickly. Lots of space available along roadside for parking.

Visited this place on a Wednesday evening, it was mostly empty. Cafe is quite spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating options. In starters we ordered cheese cigars which were below average and tandoori stuffed mushroom which tasted good. In main course we just had a dal makhani, butter garlic naan tandoori roti and jeera rice. Dal makhani was sweeter than usual. Service was okay and even the prices are fine.

It’s a great place . All day done inn. They have a vast menu serving many cuisines . The food is really good. The vibe is also young . The burnt garlic noodles were just wow. They have both indoor and outdoor seating . I ordered a poured over coffee as well; honestly it wasn’t really good. Coffee could have been much better . Rest food was really good. Over all a great place to chill .

Delicious Food, Refreshing Drinks Bouffage is One of the best cafe located in the heart of the city. Best Quality food is served here. Usually restaurant is less crowded so its a good place to chill and relax with your near and dear ones.🧡 I had Cheese Garlic Bread, garlic burnt rice, agliolio spaghetti. Everything was very yum. Later i had soothing Ginger tea with Bun Maska and it was very soft and fluffy. Must Try.

Good food. Visited after a long gap. Yes. The interiors completely changed. Outdoor and indoor sitting arrangements were changed. Walls pictures were good. Felt pleasant. We ordered red thai Curry and butter rice which was too delicious. Also a shy panner snacks was little spicy. Service was good. Staff was polite. Again visited after long gap for just coffee... Had wonderful time... Best time to visit is in afternoon.. where you can sit and relax , have plenty of talks with friends 😉😉

I often visit Bouffage and had a wonderful experience every time. I love their food. The ambiance is cozy and beautiful, with ample lighting, comfortable seating—perfect for both casual hangouts and work catchups. It still feels like hidden gem. Perfect date place. The menu offers a nice balance of continental and fusion dishes. I recently tried their signature chicken hakkaa noodles along with a cup of ginger tea, and both were flavorful and well-presented. Staffs were attentive without being intrusive. Service was actually slow. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the quality and ambiance justify it. Ideal for brunches or relaxed evenings. ⭐ Rating: 4.3/5 Must try: Ginger tea Vibe: Cozy | Relaxed | Instagram-worthy

Bouffage never fails to create a nice vibe for the customers. I can never have any complaints from this place! Five stars for the food, ambience and also the staff.

For veg people it is the prime location at centre of the city , taste is good , price is little bit high , All staff is very polite and experienced. We ordered chilli paneer , crispy beg , paneer tikka masala , methi masala and jeera rice All item taste is good , not so spicy and not so fika . Sufficient quantity for 6 people

We ordered paneer peshawari online from Swiggy to have food at home while celebrating but while eating we found that there is a full dead insect in it. This raises the concern as hygiene... Is this the level of hygiene being maintained by restaurant? It completely spoiled our appetite and celebration mood.
Garima R — Google review
One of the best North Indian buffet restaurants in Nagpur. The food tasted really good. They start with a welcome drink, followed by starters and then the main course. The highlight of the buffet is their out of this world desserts. A must-try! Restaurant is little expensive according to me.
Ajay N — Google review
The hotel is branded and quite expensive. The quality of food was good—Palak Paneer tasted nice, the garlic naan was soft and buttery, and we also had Angoori Rasgulla which was excellent. However, they didn’t have the option for half rice, so we had to order a full plate. Also, serving a ₹60 water bottle created a bad impression. Overall, it was a good experience except for the high price.

Iconic vegetarian restaurant offering an excellent variety of vegetarian cuisine, freshly made, good staff, a bit overcrowded but worth the wait, unfortunately the choice of desserts is limited though mentioned in the menu.
Madan M — Google review
I'm a non vegetarian, but for Ram Navami, me and my friends decided to go for a vegetarian buffet. The variety was unexpectedly high but since we went there on a weekday, some of the items weren't available. Also, half of the items weren't great, but the other half was brilliant in taste, so more like a 3.5/5 for food.

We had a very mellowed experience here. The food taste was much below expectations. Their craft beer was good, their cocktails were nice. The potatoes that we ordered for starters were half cooked. The fries were great. The pizza was tasting very weird. The costs are too high for the taste of food. Overall we had a very okayish experience.

I recently attended a family birthday party the ambience is very nice and cozy, good food and service. The music and singers are very amazing. The wall has amazing art including painting and sculpture. Halal food ( Veg and Non-veg both )

Visited Pablo recently and had a wonderful experience! The ambiance was cozy and aesthetically pleasing — perfect for a relaxed outing. The staff was attentive and polite, and the service was smooth. We especially loved the pizza — freshly prepared with a beautiful crust and bursting with flavour. It’s definitely a must-try for all pizza lovers! Highly recommend Pablo for good vibes, great food, and a satisfying experience.

Nice place to hangout with family and friends. Especially craft beers are good.
Amit R — Google review
I visited Pablo on 3rd November 4:30pm and here’s my honest take on it. Pros: The interior combines art and comfort to create a unique, inviting ambiance. Large wall illustrations and framed portraits add a cultural and artistic touch, while warm tones and soft lighting create a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Seating options include plush sofas and natural wood tables, ideal for groups or intimate gatherings. Dining patrons usually prefer this due to large variety of food and drinks menu. Additionally, the servers are quick, prompt and are super attentive. Cons: However, my reasons for returning to this place after three years were rather different this time. I came in search of the finest tiramisu, as I’ve done in countless places, but I must admit I left somewhat disappointed. While the tiramisu had the desired texture, nicely soaked from the overnight liqueur, its flavor was surprisingly off-putting—overly sour, lacking the balance I’d expected. I would suggest the team enhance it with more sugar, use Naples biscuits or an extra dusting of cocoa. Whether it was stale or made with sour cream, I couldn’t tell. I can’t comment on other stuff but please refrain from ordering Tiramisu here it’s not worth it. I’m not a tiramisu aficionado but I’m sure even late Roberto Linguanotto would not approve of this. The amount was 386 rs (you can request to exempt 5 percent service charge as it is legally discretionary). Additionally, the parking area for two-wheelers was another drawback. The underground space had a strong odor that hit me upon entering, causing lightheadedness. I found myself holding my breath to avoid the unpleasant air.

Self service restaurant
Reddy's Gokul Brindavan, a South Indian eatery in Nagpur, has garnered high praise for its delectable cuisine. Customers have raved about the incredible flavors and taste of their dishes. The service is also commendable, with speedy and efficient delivery. However, some recent negative feedback suggests that the management has become less satisfactory. Waiting times for orders have been significantly prolonged, leading to frustration among customers who are left waiting for their turn at occupied tables.
Overall, Reddy's Gokul Brindavan seems to be a popular spot for South Indian cuisine in Nagpur, with a mix of positive reviews and some areas for improvement. If you're in the area, it's worth visiting 😊! ⚠️ Wait time for a table is too long
Anurag M — Google review
Visited Reddy's Gokul Brindavan Restaurant located at Dharam peth, Nagpur. The place gives off a very authentic street food vibe, and it’s great for a quick breakfast stop if you are in the area. The best time to visit is in the morning at 9 am. Overall, if you're in Nagpur, then this place is definitely you must visit. Great food, super affordable, and a unique experience!
Ankit R — Google review
This restaurant is a solid three-star experience. The food is perfectly fine and consistently good, leaning more toward what you'd find in a South Indian home kitchen rather than a high-end restaurant. The flavors are clean and the dishes aren't drowning in oil or heavy cream. If you're looking for a reliably good, no-frills meal that feels healthy and homemade, this is a great choice. It's a comforting and good-value spot for your regular dosa or idli fix.
Sameer M — Google review
Found a big insect in the food, have been a regular customer for more than 15 years. Very arrogant staff! They say that insect is only in sambar so they will replace sambar. But it is mere common sense that all the items are made in the same kitchen.
Anand J — Google review
One of the few places in the city serving good South Indian food. A simple quaint little restaurant with humble settings offers the taste of authentic South Indian cuisine. I like the taste of sambar here for its not too sweet unlike other places where they serve a rather sweet Maharashtrianised sambar . My favourite go to order is Upma ( which has a perfect ghee flavour ) and a crispy Butter Masala Dosa . One can end their meal with a warm cup of Filter Coffee.
Kartiki P — Google review
Good place to have South Indian food in Nagpur. The quality of food is maintained though the prices don’t justify the cuisine and the portion size. I feel its over priced. 120₹ for a dosa doesn’t make any sense to me. And the quantity of sambar/chutney they serve is not even 1 bowl full. Recommend- idli, dosa, wada sambar, upma
Sumedh K — Google review
04/08/2025 . 3:10pm The billing staff is very rude and arrogant. Being a South Indian cuisine restaurant, they dont have chutney and staff says cancel the order if you don’t want to eat.

Airport
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India is the state's second busiest airport after Mumbai. Named after Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, it offers domestic and international flights and is well-equipped with facilities such as ticket counters for various airlines, clean restrooms, seating areas, charging points, waiting lounges, and snack corners.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur is clean, well-managed and provides smooth services. Staff is helpful and the overall travel experience is good. However, a separate dining area is required for better comfort and convenience. Thank You. Would you like me to make this a bit more formal and polite (suitable for Google Review)?

Nagpur Airport may be small compared to major metros, but it offers a smooth and hassle-free experience. The airport is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Basic facilities like comfortable seating, food stalls, and clean restrooms are available. Security checks are efficient, and the staff is polite. However, more dining and shopping options could enhance the overall experience. Overall, a neat and well-managed airport for domestic travelers.

3.5/5 Stars - A Smooth and Hassle-Free Experience at Nagpur Airport! I recently passed through Nagpur Airport, and despite its smaller size compared to major metros, I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth and hassle-free experience it offered. The airport is remarkably clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to get through. The basic facilities are well-taken care of, with comfortable seating areas, decent food stalls, and clean restrooms. The security checks were efficient, and the staff was polite and courteous. However, I felt that the airport could benefit from more dining and shopping options to enhance the overall experience. A few more choices would make the airport more appealing to travelers. Overall, Nagpur Airport is a neat and well-managed airport that's perfect for domestic travelers. While it may not have all the frills of a larger airport, it gets the job done efficiently. *Pros:* - Clean and well-maintained airport - Efficient security checks - Polite staff - Comfortable seating and basic facilities *Cons:* - Limited dining and shopping options
Naveen L — Google review
Airport is a well-maintained and traveler-friendly airport. It offers direct metro connectivity, making it easy to reach from different parts of the city. The availability of DigiYatra ensures smooth and hassle-free check-ins. Unlike many busy airports, it usually does not have much crowd, which makes the experience more relaxed. The staff is helpful and courteous, and there is also a nice park outside the gate where visitors can spend some time comfortably
Niranjan G — Google review
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport (NAG) in Nagpur offers a generally smooth and efficient travel experience, particularly for a Tier-2 city airport. While it may not boast the extensive amenities of larger metro airports, it compensates with its relatively compact size, ease of navigation, and a focus on essential services. The airport is undergoing development as part of the MIHAN project, with ambitions to become a significant cargo and passenger hub in central India. Positives: * Connectivity and Location: Strategically located at the geographical center of India, Nagpur Airport is well-connected by road and metro to the city center (approximately 8 km away). It serves as a vital link, connecting Nagpur to 14 domestic destinations and international cities like Sharjah and Doha. The airport's central location makes it a potential transit point for travelers. * Efficiency and Smooth Operations: Many travelers commend the airport for its quick check-in and security processes, contributing to a hassle-free experience. The staff is often described as polite and cooperative. * Cleanliness and Maintenance: The airport is generally reported to be clean and well-maintained, including most public areas and seating spaces. * Basic Amenities: Essential facilities such as comfortable seating, food stalls (though limited in variety), clean restrooms (with some exceptions), free newspapers, and free water dispensers are available. There are also ATMs, currency exchange, and medical services. * Lounges: Travel Club Lounges are available in both domestic and international departure areas, offering a space to relax with refreshments and Wi-Fi. * Parking: Ample parking space is available for private vehicles and taxis. Areas for Improvement: * Washroom Consistency: While some reviews praise clean washrooms, others highlight issues with cleanliness and foul smells, suggesting inconsistency in maintenance. This is a crucial area that needs consistent attention. * Food and Retail Options: The selection of food and retail outlets is generally considered limited and compact. There's a clear need for more diverse and perhaps 24/7 food options, especially for late-night flights. * Wi-Fi Reliability: While free Wi-Fi is advertised, some older reviews mention issues with its availability or the need for Indian phone numbers for access. Ensuring robust and easily accessible Wi-Fi for all passengers, including international travelers, is important. * Security Check Speed: While generally efficient, some feedback indicates that security checks can be slow compared to other airports. * Ambience and Modernization: The interiors, while functional, have been described as looking somewhat dated ("90s looking"). Modernization and aesthetic upgrades could enhance the overall passenger experience. * Congestion during Peak Times: During peak festivals or busy periods, the airport can become crowded, leading to a less comfortable experience. * Cargo Operations: Despite the MIHAN project's focus on cargo, the airport has faced challenges and a decline in cargo volumes, indicating a need for improved infrastructure and operational efficiency in this sector. * Airline Presence and Fares: The airport currently has a limited number of airlines, and elevated airfares have been noted as a challenge, potentially impacting passenger numbers. Future Outlook: With the ongoing MIHAN project, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport is poised for significant expansion and development. This includes plans for runway expansion, a new terminal building, and enhanced road and rail connectivity. If these projects materialize as planned, Nagpur Airport has the potential to transform into a more robust and passenger-friendly aviation hub in central India. In Conclusion: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport serves its purpose as a regional airport effectively, offering a generally smooth and convenient travel experience.

This is a small airport. Though it has eight gates, the airport building is small with basic infrastructure. Digiyatra is available here but there are issues with it and most has to present physical IDs. The lounge is before security check. It is bigger in comparison of the airport. There are limited menu options but staff is cooperative.
Kalpesh S — Google review
This airport is much better than what it was earlier. A good change for a city as big as Nagpur. The customs and immigration were really quick and smooth. People are helpful. The pickup area is nice and spacious. The baggage took longer than expected. Loved the tiger decorations. 🐅
