The narrow corridors, control panels, and precisely arranged valves, levers, and gauges all tell a story of sheer human skill and endurance. Every inch of the Kursura showcases the dedication of Indian Navy officers who operated it with precision and bravery, defending our coastline under extreme conditions. It gave me a real sense of the challenges our naval heroes faced — limited space, high pressure, mechanical complexity, and the constant responsibility of keeping the submarine functional deep under the sea. From an engineering point of view, the Kursura is nothing short of a masterpiece. It's a offbeat beach, always stick to the Google map. There is a liquor bar. You can find coconut sellers there and some small dhaba like stall..the road is vary Good. The little village on the hill and the view from that place was astonishing. The beach is clean and gives really good vibes. No parking charges at all. Vizag Zoo Park We recently visited Vizag Zoo Park with our family, and it was a wonderful experience! We saw a wide variety of animals including tigers, white tigers, elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, snakes, lions, deer, and even an anaconda. The kids were especially excited to see the different species of birds, peacocks, and tortoises. We chose to explore the entire zoo on foot, which allowed us to enjoy the natural beauty and greenery all around. It was a refreshing and peaceful walk, and a great way to connect with nature while learning about wildlife. We also visited the butterfly zone, which looked nice, but unfortunately there were no butterflies at the time. That was a bit disappointing, but overall it didn’t take away from the experience. The zoo is well-maintained and perfect for a family outing. My kids really enjoyed everything, and we had a great time together. Highly recommended for a fun and educational day out in nature

It would be better if they used mesh or transparent barriers instead, to allow better viewing while ensuring safety. Overall, a great outing spot with lots to see and learn. A Day at the Zoo 🐘 Had such a fun (and slightly tiring 😅) day at the zoo! MONDAY CLOSED 🎟️ Ticket – ₹70 🚗 Parking – ₹50 (₹700 if you take your car inside) 📵 No network inside, so better carry cash. 👶 If you’re with elders or toddlers, take the e-car — walking can be tough. If you choose to walk, you have to complete the full round — you can’t come back midway. Toilets are there but some lights don’t work. A few animals weren’t available, and there’s no one around to inform you. To see the fish, there’s an extra charge of ₹4 per person. In between, you’ll only find ice cream and a water cooler, so carry some snacks if you need more. Despite the little issues, it was still a nice day surrounded by animals and nature! 🌿🐾 Such a peaceful and happy day! 🌿💚

The zoo was clean, easy to move around. It had options to use our own vehicle, their ev cart, electric cycle which makes it easy to commute. Animals are kept in large open conditions as per their adaptable conditions. Zoo has many clean toilets are all turns which makes it easier for kids and elderly people. Overall a good experience.

Water sports (jet-ski, boating, swimming) widely available; but only speed boating was available when we visited. Speed boating price: ₹250/ + ₹100 for extra 1km (it's not on ticket, its that boatman say when we ride, we denied it, it's upto person)

A fantastic place! This was my first visit to a working lighthouse, and it was truly fascinating. Do note that it’s open only for a short two-hour window, so it’s best to reach around 2:30 PM, as ticket sales start from 3 PM onwards. The climb inside can be challenging for elderly visitors since the stairs are steep and narrow, but we were fortunate to be in the first batch. The bird’s-eye view from the top is absolutely mesmerizing and makes the effort worthwhile. A must-visit spot if you’re in Vizag for the first time!

Situated near the Indian Navy base camp the Dolphin nose light House is a really good place to be add on while visiting Vizag. There was no entry fee. The view from the light House is amazing. One can see the Bay of Bengal and it looks so soothing. There are certain rules and regulations while visiting. And you may need to wait for 10-15min as the visiting is like batch wise. And mind your head while going above the light House stairs. Overall a good experience. 🏮

This was an absolutely stunning beach. The sand was warm and soft, and the water was clear and calm, perfect for a relaxing swim. It was very clean with no litter, and had a peaceful atmosphere with only the sound of the waves. The views, especially at sunset, were breathtaking. We loved how quiet it was, making it feel like a private escape, though it was close enough to walk to nearby restaurants when we wanted. I highly recommend this for a peaceful and beautiful beach experience.

Great museum, the entrance with the long curved room with different sections is really interesting, it has all sorts of things like memorials for pilots, a lifeboat, an engine and more cool things. The tu142 itself is also preserved very well, I just wish the flight deck was not chained off.

After 30 years of service the TU-142M Aircraft of Indian Navy was decommissioned and placed at Visakhapatnam sea beach by converting it to a museum. Located just opposite to Submarine museum this became one more major tourist attraction at RK Beach Area. There is an entry fee of Rs 100/- Per person no extra fee for camera. Before entering into the aircraft you can see display of various equipments and parts of aircraft placed inside one exhibition hall. Equipments like sonobuoys, propeller, engine, survival kit, anti submarine missile, date recorder etc are displayed with all details. Outside the aircraft you can take photos and the area is well maintained. There is a flight simulator platform which can be enjoyed through VR headsets.

We went with family and friends, and it was a good experience all together. But one thing wants to say, once the restaurant is full, then the services are delaying, like delaying in food making and shortage of cutlery. Although the view is great and as well as the ambience.

Located within the premises of The Park Hotel, this restaurant is known for their varieties of menu, buffet spread and culinary offerings. The ambience is superb. Ample amount of sunlight through the glass walls and stunning view of lush green spreading upto sea-line formulate a very nice axis among brain-tongue-stomach. We visited the restaurant on the eve of Onam. Traditional dishes like raw banana fry, dal vada, yam and black chana dal, beetroot thoran, brinjal curry, aviyal, ghee rice, chutneys along with payasam were served on the buffet. The preparations were flavourful and tasted unique. Few things which pinched are the delayed service, non-attendance of staffs towards requirement at the table and refilling of dishes and tariff. Considering the varieties of foods offered, the restaurant seemed to be quite overpriced. Still opting for four stars because of the dining experience the restaurant provides especially because of the decor. Overall verdict- recommended for one time visit if budget permits.

Located on the ground floor, the restaurant offers a tasteful ambiance with elegant décor. We were lucky to get a corner table by the glass windows, which provided a stunning view of the garden and the sea in the distance. The calming atmosphere, combined with the serene view, set the perfect tone for our dining experience. We started with a simple yet classic dish – the Cheese Chilli Toast. To our surprise, it was one of the best versions we’ve ever had. The toast came with a generous layer of creamy, melted cheese balanced with just the right amount of spice from the chillies. The cheese was soft and fresh, and the accompanying ketchup complemented the flavors beautifully. It was a great start to our meal and left us excited for what was to come. For the main course, we opted for the Paneer Tikka Biryani, and the portion size was truly impressive! The biryani bowl could easily serve three people, making it perfect for sharing. The highlight, though, was the succulent paneer cubes – incredibly soft and perfectly spiced. The flavorful basmati rice, long-grained and fragrant, paired wonderfully with the paneer, creating a truly satisfying dish. It was, without a doubt, one of the best paneer biryanis I’ve had in a long time. To end our meal on a sweet note, we ordered the Shahi Tukda Roll, which we were told is a specialty of the restaurant. This dessert was the star of our dining experience! The rolls, stuffed with delicate pistachio flavors, were dipped in rich, saffron-infused rabdi. The balance of sweetness was perfect – not too overpowering, just enough to leave you wanting more. We were so impressed that we personally thanked the chef for creating such a delightful dish. It was truly the highlight of our entire meal. The only minor drawback was the service speed, which could be improved. The biryani took around 30 minutes to arrive, and our special instructions weren’t fully followed. However, the delicious food and lovely ambiance more than made up for this. Overall, Vista at The Park exceeded our expectations with its excellent food, delightful ambiance, and scenic views. We highly recommend visiting for a memorable dining experience in Visakhapatnam!

The it didn't have many options, let it be the "drinks" or the "food" little options, as they are American restaurant they 4/5 for American menu.... staff has little understanding the instructions of having it wet / dry ( starter paneer )one of which we ordered, the photos is "Andhra Chepala fry" which is Fish 🐟 it was good, the pasta was good and tasty since that is their good effort. They have little knowledge regarding drinks and mixing of it. Over all 3/5

The fine dining restaurant located at Novotel Vizag is bound to give you a seamlessly wonderful experience. Very soberly done up and adequately lit. The service is top notch, I was very well attended. The cutlery adds to the decor making the dinning experience even better. I happened to taste a lot of things and almost everything was very well made. They serve up conventional North Indian food without messing around with it. It would probably be the best restaurant in Vizag for that cuisine. My recommendations would be:- Patrani machi, methi matar sheekh, Gilafi sheekh, ajwaini jhinga, dal makhni, malai kofta, Nalli Nihari, tandoori jhinga masala, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan!

The Food quality and taste was very good but the interior and look wise it’s bit rusty and dark. After entering hotel for meal option it looks very beige and dull, They have to improve the interior and lightening for better ambience. The Darker rooms feel like a bar and not hotel. I visited this place twice during my 4-day stay in Vizag and it quickly became one of my favorites. What really stood out was the variety of chutneys they offer with breakfast. My personal favorite was the Palli (peanut) chutney. Each time I ordered, I got four chutneys along with sambar: Palli (peanut), Kobbari (coconut), Allam (ginger), and Pudina (mint). I ended up visiting a second time just for the Palli chutney—it's that good! It tasted just like the homemade chutney you would find in a typical Telugu household, which made it even more special. As for the food, I tried Idly, Vada, Uttapam, and Rava Dosa. The Idly was soft and fluffy, but the Vada wasn’t as soft as I would have liked. The Uttapam was a bit too thick for my taste, but the Rava Dosa was spot on—crispy and perfectly made. I highly recommend this place just for the Palli (peanut) chutney alone. One thing to note: the AC hall on the first floor isn’t very well-lit and can get pretty warm. It doesn't quite feel like you're in an air-conditioned room, which might be a bit uncomfortable for some.

Today I visited to sri sairam parlour diamond park area and ordered full meals, veg fried rice I sit in 1st floor order took 30min time to serve.. Litterly food taste was worst currys for meals is tasteless. After 40min veg fried rice came. That rice comes with plan rice and mixed with veggies without fry.. Even servers also very rash.. From same floor two different orders litterly fight with owners I am third person who fight. With them. One curry served to me I don't what is that curry is even they not mixed any salt masala any chilli powder items My cooking is better than sai ram parlour

If you can't manage crowd, then why are you collecting money and issuing tokens beforehand ? One needs to fight with the staff to get food we pay for. Disaster it is.

Such a beautiful place with a variety of cuisine. Well known for their thalis. However, we specifically went for their famous filter coffee which was super!!! They provide you with a complimentary basket if fries which you can taste with their special podi and chutneys. Next visit will be for their thalis for sure!

This is one of the South Indian breakfast serving hotels inside the campus of Daspalla Hotel. Popularly known for lip smacking south indian breakfast items. Tried Butter Masala Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Vada Sambar and Filter Coffee. Filter coffee was very bad and waste of money. Vada was good. Dosa was pretty average. They charge a bomb for all these stuff. Felt the taste was not worth paying so much. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Since childhood when we were in Visakhapatnam, it was one of our frequently visited restaurants. As we went to Visakhapatnam to attend a family function for one day from hyderabad, we just don't want to miss visiting this restaurant. While heading to the airport, we went there just to have filter coffee, which is just WoW. The taste n aroma is just simply flavourful. The restaurant needs an upgradation as it looks a little bit old and gloomy. The service is fast as before, and the staff are cordial. But the hygiene n neatness of the table cleaning n all needs some immediate attention. We even want to pack their famous rasmalai in their sweet counter, honey dew. But, they advised packing to have a spillage for the long distance. So I couldn't take that, but the taste is just mouth watering n very yummy.

We tried various items like Rava Dosa, Tomato Soup, Clear Soup, Masala Papad, Fry Idly, Chapati and Kadhai Panner. They had a good taste. Rava Dosa here is a must try. A good place to visit with family or friends only if you can wait a lot of time.

Dharani restaurant is part of Daspalla hotel which is very famous 4 star hotel of Vizag. This place is famous for vegitarian food and specially the Dharani Special thali . The place was quite crowded when I visited but the manager has given me a beeping device which started to beep once my table was ready. Food was tasty and was presented well. The prices were not much expensive. Thali was unlimited with very good taste. The ambience is ok and sitting was comfortable. Overall this place comes recommended for thali lovers is south Indian style.

Located inside The Gateway Hotel at RK beach, this restaurant is considered to be one of the fine dining restaurants serving Asian delicacies. There is ample parking space. The restaurant’s ambience is themed as per the preparations they serve. Mr Nayak is polite, courteous and helpful enough to took you through the menu and guide towards your choice. We had only wok tossed chicken hakka noodles as we were near full. The portion were good and taste wise also nice. The tariff is definitely on the higher side. But I’m sure that anyone who’s visiting a property of Taj Hotels should be ready to spend few extra bucks. The view of Bay of Bengal from the restaurant as well as from the extended courtyard is mesmerising. Overall verdict- definitely recommended if you’re looking for a high end Asian restaurant.

Had the best chinese food of my life. I ordered Fish from their seafood section and Kung Pao noodles. Never had such a good fish in my life. Would highly recommend it. The quantity of food is very nice. 2 dishes can easily fill 2 people. I went there with 2 of my friends. We weren't so hungry at that time, so 2 dishes were enough for us. Total bill camr out to be 1015 (including taxes) which is actually very less for such a restaurant.

We had Crispy Honey Chicken and Phud Tai Chicken Noodles. The taste was excellent. B V Ramana served us pretty nicely. The music will take your mind somewhere you will find peace. Recommend this a must visit for all the people who love Chinese. Enjoyed my dinner over here.

Definitely the best Chinese I have had in Vizag so far. Prices are on the higher side but considering the standard of fine dining in the city, I will gladly spend on good food. Those who are scared of the amount of chilli added in every dish in every restaurant in Vizag, will find this to be a happy respite. Food is fresh and filling. Apart from the quality of cooking, another good thing about the food is that they serve a variety of meats including crab, pork and lamb. If you order in advance you might get the duck. Their cocktails are not bad. Hospitality is absolutely amazing. The staff will customise food according your request and give fairly good recommendations of wines and other liquor. Many of them speak and understand Bengali and Oriya and took the time to chat with me. I was able to score complementary desserts twice during my visits. And one time I went at closing time, but since the staff know me, they made me dinner anyway. Recommended dishes: seafood dimsums, crab meat soup, mixed Chinese chopseuy, mizho lamb, pork in ginger oyster sauce, dragon roll. Also people who miss this thing called 'gravy chowmein' as much as they miss Calcutta (like me) you can ask the staff to make you some.

At Waltair main road near Dutt island, this restaurant is popular among locals as well as tourists for their Andhra style tiffins. There is no dedicated parking space. The ambience is pretty basic and simple. Indoor seating area has hints of minimalism. We had sponge dosas and uttapams in mind, but had to settle for special meals as we went in the afternoon and during lunchtime only meals were available. Self service is something that you have to definitely keep in mind. The staffs are somewhat helpful. The preparations were ok-ok type and saltiness and spice levels both were on the higher side. To be frank, nothing was actually special about that special meal. Anyway, this is an opinion based only on meal. I can’t comment on their breakfast options. Overall verdict- won’t mind skipping.

Visited this place after being referred to by a local. The place is quite popular, and as expected, it was crowded and had to wait for sometime for my term. There is self service here. The prices were not very high. Tried the Masala Dosa and Sponge Kharam Dosa. The Sponge dosa was bitter in taste, probably because the batter was not fresh. Fell sick terribly the next day after eating it. Will not dare to visit this place again.

This venkatadri vantillu is one of the famous restaurants for south indian tiffins in Visakhapatnam. This restaurant was hyped by many celebrities like SS rajamouli about the taste of food here. When I visited this restaurant, the crowd was less but heard the place was crowded during peak hours.I ordered the famous sponge dosa and idli here. Sponge dosa was nice and delicious and idli was good too. The chutneys served with these two items are tasty. The location is prominent and the ambience was ok as it is a budget friendly restaurant. The hygiene was ok and the cleanliness is fine. Parking space was plenty for two wheelers. Quality and quantity of the food is good 👍

This was the first time I visited this restaurant and previously I heard very positive feedback on the restaurant from my family members and friends however I have visited this place in this difficult times to taste the food from this place. I should say the taste of each dish is fabulous and we can give 5/5 for the food. The reason for giving a 4 star is due to the delay in service. Almost 30 min waiting time for each dish we ordered which has eaten our most of the time luckily had not enough work for the rest of the day hence managed the delay time however overall experience satisfied.

My first impression on entering the lounge was WOW especially because the ambience was pretty cool, but the air-conditioning was too uncomfortably cold. Now coming to the food - it’s just splendid. As vegetarian we ordered for broccoli, verdure pizza and penne arabiata and were totally overwhelmed by the flavours. The attention of the staff is numero Uno but the timeline for food prepration is long and that leads to impatience. In late evenings, it's idle to sit in the open area and have a quality family time as indoor can get loud and very cold.

May be not preferable order for Swiggy. Eat’em hot there if possible. Latest visit: Dine in, much better experience with pani puri. We liked it this time. Onion kachori was good too. Veg Manchuria was tasty but super spicy. Let them know on the spiciness level before hand. We asked for rasmalai which was in the Milkshake menu but we were given Badam Milk, not sure what happened there. It was okay.

Security check is little small and congested. Gates 1 and 2 have very less space however first floor plenty of space to sit. Restaurant,coffe shop, lounge and SPA available at Gates.

Nice airport. Some renovation happening. The rood false ceiling is striped in many places. One is not allowed to take pictures or videos in this airport. So just took a few in the parking lot - habit you see…🤷🏼‍♀️

One of the very calm and quiet airport. Well maintained and having all the basic amenities. Security staff are very helpful. No rush . Passengers are very calm and quiet unlike Delhi where the fellow passengers are not caring and helpful. Visakhapatnam is growing very fast now and the Airport will also grow.
