Points of Interest & Landmarks
Balancing Rock in Jabalpur is a stunning natural wonder where a large oval stone appears to be delicately balanced on another massive rock. This geological formation has defied the forces of nature, remaining intact despite storms, rain, and seasonal erosion. It even withstood a powerful 6.9 magnitude earthquake without being disturbed.
Balancing Rock is a miracle. I have never seen such a good thing in my life that a person is balancing very well on a rock and it looks very beautiful too. You can go here and spend a lot of time. You can enjoy yourself in many ways. You will not believe your eyes after seeing how a disease is sitting on a rock?
Lakshmi R — Google review
The Balancing Rock is a fascinating natural formation where a huge stone appears to balance effortlessly on the tip of another. It's an interesting geological curiosity and makes for a good photo stop. However, reaching the site is a bit challenging—the location isn't well-marked, and navigation can be confusing for first-time visitors. There's minimal signage, and the surrounding area is not very well maintained. While it's close to the Madan Mahal Fort, which adds some historical value to the visit, the site itself lacks proper infrastructure or tourist-friendly facilities. Best to visit if you're already in the area, especially as part of a combined trip with other attractions in Jabalpur like Marble Rocks, Dhuandhar Falls, and Bhedaghat.
Haresh M — Google review
Balancing Rock at Jabalpur is a wonder and is one of the must visit places on your trip to Jabalpur. It’s located near the Madan Mahal Fort which just up the road. Reaching the site in private vehicle is best advised. Reaching to the site is a bit difficult as the location isn't well-marked and signages are also less for first-time visitors. It’s a small site. The surrounding area is not very well maintained, and one can find litter inside the premise also. One is mesmerized by the sight of a huge rock standing still and balancing itself on another rock since a long time ago. Balancing Rock has withstood the ravages of time and has stood strong even during earthquakes. One can also visit the visit Rani Durgawati Fort (also known as Madan Mahal Fort) which is nearby.
Harsh S — Google review
Balancing Rock, Jabalpur What is it? The Balancing Rock in Jabalpur is a remarkable natural geological formation. One large boulder appears to precariously balance on a much smaller base rock — giving the impression that it defies gravity. Some key points: It is located near Madan Mahal Fort in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The rock has survived significant earthquakes (including one estimated at magnitude ~6.5) and erosion over many years. According to one source the contact area between the two rocks may be as little as six square inches. Location & How to Get There Address: 4WX3+9XF, Ratan Nagar, Madan Mahal, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh 482001, India. Nearest landmarks: It’s very close to Madan Mahal Fort, making it easy to combine in one outing. Getting there: From Jabalpur city centre you can reach via taxi, auto-rickshaw or your own vehicle. The site is open to public year-round. Some sources say open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry is free. When to Visit & Practical Tips Best time: The cooler months (October to February) are more comfortable for visiting. Light for photos: Early morning or late afternoon offers better lighting and fewer crowds. Footwear & terrain: The approach involves rocky terrain; wear comfortable shoes with good grip. Maintenance & signage: Note that while the spot is interesting, infrastructure and signage are somewhat limited. Some visitors note the surroundings could be better maintained. Why Visit? It’s a geological marvel — seeing a huge rock seemingly balancing on another is quite the visual treat. Great for photography — captures the interplay of nature, rock formations and an unusual scene. Easy to include as part of a broader Jabalpur sightseeing: since it’s near Madan Mahal Fort, you can combine both. What to Expect The visit may only take 10-20 minutes, as the actual spot is small. It’s more of a “stop-by” attraction rather than a full day outing (unless paired with other sites). There are some basic facilities/parking but don’t expect a full tourist complex.
Goutam G — Google review
It is also a must visit place during one's visit to Jabalpur and Bhedaghat. One can witness the diversity in science. It's simply the matter of gravitational force. But anyone may think deeply regarding the science behind it.
Suvendu S — Google review
It looks like art of god. Not a very big or crowded place. Would take much time. It's just road side. Average cleanliness, can improve this place further with more information board, development of better inside infrastructure, passages. Overall a place to go one time and get the picture clicked:).
Pawan S — Google review
The Balancing Rock of Jabalpur is a must-visit for curious travelers, nature lovers, photographers, and geology enthusiasts. It's a free and fascinating roadside marvel that combines simplicity with one of nature’s most curious formations. Though there are no guided explanations on-site, its natural allure and the surrounding region’s attractions make it well worth your time. The formation is believed to be an erosional remnant of volcanic rock. Despite tremors- including a magnitude 6.2 earthquake in Jabalpur in May 1997- it hasn’t shifted from its position . Scientists conclude the rock balances due to natural gravitational forces and erosion over millennia .
Anchal V — Google review
Balancing Rock is not that famous among tourists only enthusiastic tourists visit this place. Overall it's a good quick tourist spot which covers within 5 mins. Before going to Madan Mahal Fort. People came here for morning walk like activities.

Specialty Museums
Nestled in the heart of Jabalpur, the Rani Durgavati Museum is a captivating destination for history buffs and culture enthusiasts alike. This museum pays homage to the brave Gond queen, Rani Durgavati, who valiantly defended her kingdom against Mughal invaders. Visitors can immerse themselves in an extensive collection of artifacts, coins, paintings, and sculptures that span various historical periods. The exhibits not only celebrate her legendary exploits but also provide insights into her strategic brilliance during battles.
It was quite interesting that we hadn’t gone to the museum ever. It was ana amazing collection of sculptures from 9-11th century period when the Kalchuri dynasty ruled in this area. Mammi was bored a little. There was an entire section on life of Gond Tribe. Chausath yogini, uma maheshwar from madla, satna area. Jain tirthankaras, buddhist, ganesh, vishnu and shiva. There were a couple statues kept outside in the open, deteriorating. We thought how heritage isn’t quite something that present we value. With such a rich history, it saddens me to see such absence of care for precious sculptures.
Akash B — Google review
Good to visit to see sculptures of 11-12 th century in closer room. Need more description about sculptures for people to understand better. It seems less people are visiting the museum. Foreigners can visit as the sculptures are kept in rooms with fans without issue of sun exposure. Coin collection is also there

A magnificent collection of ancient sculptures can be seen here, Coins collections and Tribes history as well!! Ticket price : 20

It is a good place to visit for those who really like the museum and keen to learn about historical things and places. There are lots of idols mainly of the 10th and 11th century. There are old coins also which were used during different dynasties. I like this place very much and visit it as I get time. One must visit and specially students would get knowledge of our history from here.
Divyanshu G — Google review
It was very astonishing place to visit who loves to know about the historical sculptures & arts. Unfortunately I couldn't spend much time, hardly I could spend 10 minutes but it is really time taking who really wants to see the deep artistic culture of India. It takes minimum 30-40 minutes to visit properly.

Beautifully Maintained Place with proper information. No waiting required and only ₹20(only cash) ticket🎟 per person and plenty of Car and two wheeler parking available. The staff is friendly and got to see many sculptures, antiques, copper plates, seals and coins of Kalchuri Era and Kalchuri King Karndev and Vijaysinhdev 👑.

Beautiful trail amidst the city. Went for an evening walk and the park is well maintained, easily accessible & very reasonable to visit. Nestled away from the hustle bustle of city, & the best part is the lake. So peaceful, perfect for a walk, picnic spot or even just spend some quality time. There is a cycle trail too, games for kids & very peaceful atmosphere. Must must visit in Jabalpur.

Tilwara Ghat, located in Jabalpur along the Narmada River, is a historically significant and popular attraction. Surrounded by numerous temples, it offers proximity to the stunning Marble Rocks and Dhuandhar Falls, adding to its charm. The ghat holds immense historical importance and is celebrated for its picturesque location. Additionally, it is home to the famous Tilabhandeshwar Mahadev temple.
One of the best and safe ghat in jabalpur. You can take the holy dip through out the year except Rainey season when Maa Rewa is over flow. Evening Aarti of maa Narmada is also a attraction. You can find this place cool with your family specially in summer evening when you can enjoy splash of cool water.

Went here during Ganapati visarjan btw they don't allow you to do visarjan here I just went for a view. It is good but gets a bit dirty as people pour off their household belongings in this river. The bridge gives the best view. There are shops of Prasad nearby and also a temple is present.
Sneha K — Google review
Experiencing the river at night offers a unique perspective. The gentle rocking of the boat is incredibly soothing. Darkness amplifies the sounds of nature surrounding the river. The reflections of lights on the water create a magical atmosphere. It's a truly memorable way to appreciate the beauty of the river.

This is one of the most peaceful and best ghats in Jabalpur. You are mesmerized by the beauty and might of Narmada River. The ghats are less crowded and there is ample parking space here. You can also enjoy boating here. Daily Aarti at 7:30PM is not to be missed. There are small shops selling puja items. And you can enjoy boat rides here.
Harsh S — Google review
One of my favorite and very peaceful place to visit. It is less crowded as compared to Gwarighat. There is ample amount of parking space. You can also enjoy boating here. Must attend daily Aarti at 7:30PM. We visit this place every Saturday.
HIMANSHU V — Google review
Nice place. We visited during monsoon and the river Narmada was getting flooded at a fast rate. The river bank (ghat) was totally submerged underwater. However, it wasn't extremely dangerous as no one was affected. The local shops were moved due to rising levels of river water. Places like riverbanks must be avoided during this season. Overall the place is hygienic and beautiful. Good spot to enjoy wit family.Bathing ghat for locals Looks nice as this place is an important bathing ghat for local people. They purify themselves here with the cold river water in the winter. The New and Old bridge are also a good contrast. People are still walking across the river using the old bridge. Interesting experience. Not very much of the attraction as it's not meant for the tourists. Still it's worth visiting if you are interested in the local daily life here.

I visited Sangram Sagar Lake yesterday and it was truly peaceful. The lake is quite big, and the cool breeze and calm surroundings make it a perfect spot to relax. What I loved most was the small waterfall that forms when the lake overflows it was beautiful to watch. There's also a temple right at the shore and a small fort visible on the other side of the lake, which gives the place a nice historical touch. Overall, it felt like a hidden gem away from the city noise.

Do not go from Danav Baba temple side. Go from Bajnamath Mandir side since there you would find a nice place to walk and sit. From Danav Baba temple side, which can be reached via Shakti Nagar, there is nothing apart from outskirt forest and a abandoned lane. This side is usually gathered by drunkards. Not a safe place to take family. Please take this into consideration. The lake is not so big as shown in maps. Just in rainy season the water level increases. Otherwise the water level is very low in other seasons.

Good place to visit even for the non Jains. Sunset time is notably worth visiting. It's a little hill post, but the stairs are very low rise, about 4-5" sizes, around 380 in number in all. No elevator, no palki.

This 15th-century Jain temple complex is rooted in a powerful legend, a humble woman known as Pisanhari (flour-miller) saved money by grinding flour and eventually built this pilgrimage site. Her statue and the original grinding stones remain above the entrance as symbols of her devotion. Spread over 18 acres, the site includes 13+ temples, featuring the monumental 55-foot Bahubali statue, the grand Nandishwar Dweep Jinalaya, a samavsarana structure, a mandapa hall, and a two-story garbhagriha. Positioned atop a 300-foot hill near Medical Garha, it offers sweeping views of Jabalpur, a cooling breeze, and a calming environment, perfect for reflection.

We arrived at the restaurant at around 8:50 - 9:00 pm, ordered the food almost instantly. We waited and waited and the food finally arrived after 50 mins. If this wasn’t a good enough example of their service. After serving us with the first couple of rotis, they made us wait 15 mins more for the next batch. I would not recommend this hotel for dining at all.

I am visiting this place from a long time ,there food is marvellous, specially there sizzlers,Taste is what people come here for. I tried Paneer Sizzlers which was absolutely delicious. I tried garlic naan which was a ambrosius. Even simple Dal Tadka was such a delight. There quantity and quality is great, price is a little higher to some dishes, but overall experience great.

It's one of the oldest restaurants in Jabalpur I am going there since my childhood. We recently visited this place and this was almost 10 years since we last visited, I am really amazed to see the quality, service and food still the same. We ordered same menu that we used to ordered starting with tomato soup and paneer chilly sizzler along with jeera rice, Panner will just melt in your mouth each bite reminded me of my childhood. Overall ratings: Food : 5/5 Service : 5/5 Price : 5/5 Ambience : 5/5 Chilly paneer sizzler is a must try dish. It's a must visit place for evry food lover 👍👍👍

These people stop their customers from checking out of their hotel, for local driver issues.. Worst stay experience.Bad room conditions. Worst hospitality. Waiters dont help in luggage loading[many senior citizen waiters] MP tourism ka naam kharab kar diya hai. If in Jabalpur, visit any place apart from this. There are lots of better affordable and good options.

New Pawar Restaurant (NPR) is a relaxed and laid-back eatery that offers a vegetarian-only menu featuring delectable biryani, North Indian cuisine, and Chinese dishes. It provides a pleasant ambience with commendable seating arrangements. The staff at NPR is friendly, well-mannered, and offers excellent service. One of their highlights is the special thali which surpasses average taste expectations.
Not a very fancy place to dine in, but the food is in abundance! The quantity, quality and taste, all are at point! They also serve Jain thali (without onion and garlic). Their Sahi Thali is so amazing!! A must visit if you're a foodie who likes to eat variety but has a small pocket.

Moti Mahal is a historic restaurant located on the banks of Narmada in Ramnagar, built in the 17th century. The ambiance of the restaurant creates a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Visitors have praised the impeccable service and genuine warmth of the staff.
Food quality was good. We went there at waiting time between two trains at Jabalpur Station. It was a break journey. And we were in search of a decent place for our lunch.
Rajarshi M — Google review
We randomly visited this place, we didn't have any idea, on entering it was an average looking place we have to ask many people to get to a waiter or manager wether it's open or not. Finally we got a place and ordered soups and papad were average, then came starters I was literally amazed we tried stuffed chicken and stuffed mushrooms, out of them stuffed chicken is just amazing it's the best stuffed chicken I have ever eaten. Main course are also good taste wise, one downfall is the rotis I don't know how prepare them but it will like jail rotis very fluffy and hard to eat, and was served cold that ruins the main course for us. Overall Ratings: Ambience 3/5 Service 2/5 Staff 2/5 Food 4/5 Overall it's a great place to have chicken those are their speciality but I really like to see other points improved
Akki — Google review
We went to Moti Mahal for dinner and ordered paneer curry and naan. What we got was stale, spoiled curry, an old soggy salad, and green raita that smelled rotten. Then we ordered dal and rice! When we complained, the waiter or attendant weren’t even willing to taste or smell it... just kept arguing that “everything here is always fresh” and “you’re the only one saying this, even on Zomato we pack this food " Honestly, places like this should just put a lock on their door instead of serving food that belongs in the trash.

We had a vegetarian meal here. The ambiance was nice. All items were tasty especially the tandoori breads. The only regret was slow response regarding salad items like onion and lemon.

The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced the enjoyment of the meal. A must visit!

This casual hotel dining room offers Western-style fast-food dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a suitable venue for spending time with friends and family, providing good quality food from various cuisines such as South Indian, north Indian, Italian, and street food. However, the taste of the food could be improved. Some menu items like Cheese kulcha with Daal Makhni are flavorful while others like Veg Biryani are average in taste.
I recently visited ASANSO Restaurant and was blown away by the incredible service, delicious food, and cozy ambiance. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like family, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. - The Veg Sandwich was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. - The Pizza was a game-changer – creative, fresh, and expertly prepared. Absolutely! Can't wait to try more dishes and experience the exceptional hospitality again.

The food and the taste is just normal, waiting time is little more. The thing I didn’t liked about the place is self service, they don’t serve food all at a time which is a turn off at times. It is more like qsr(quick service restaurant) but the service is not quick. If you going with family especially with old age people, it is not at all convenient. The location is good with good parking space.

What you order is exactly what you get. Food is delicious. Ambience is amazing, self service at restaurant, washrooms are clean, parking space available, and temperature is checked upon entry. The place has a big TV from where you can enjoy matches. Food is little expensive compared to other cafes in the city, but it's worth it.

A decent and quiet place to spend time with friends and family. Very good quality food but taste can be better. South Indian, north Indian, Italian, street food many cuisines are served here. Really with that quality taste can improved. I tried Cheese kulcha with Daal Makhni was pretty good in taste, Veg Biryani was average in taste. Veg Club Sandwich is awesome is taste and quality both. Asanzo's Chef Special sandwich was awful 😅 please didn't try it ever. Ambience is good, this place feels awesome. Decent interior design, very comfortable sitting. Very hygienic conditions, with proper clean and hygienic washroom.

Indian Coffee House in Jabalpur is a renowned eatery, known for its regal interiors and atmospheric ambiance. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring traditional Indian and Chinese dishes, including creamy paneer bhurjee with hot rotis. It's a great spot for breakfast, serving hearty options like uttapam, dosa, French toast, and omelettes. Additionally, the place is famous for its excellent quality filter coffee.
Authentic taste • affordable price I have enjoyed dinner at this place, Mutter paneer was like home cooked means no red colour propaganda like other restaurants, tandoori roti was very good and offcourse coffee was great as it an indian coffee house
Raghvesh T — Google review
Visited the Indian Coffee House in Jabalpur recently, and honestly, it was a mixed experience. The place itself is decent — quite basic and nostalgic like most Indian Coffee House outlets, but what really pulled the experience down was the service. Be prepared to wait. The staff will not attend to you for the first 20–25 minutes, and once they finally take your order, they tend to forget it completely for another 30 minutes. If you order multiple items (say 3–4), they will serve only 1–2 of them, and you’ll have to remind them again for the rest. It gets really frustrating when you're hungry and looking for even basic attentiveness. Coming to the food, normally Indian Coffee House food never disappoints me, but this outlet left me speechless — and not in a good way. The dahi vada here was a disaster. Instead of proper dahi vada, they simply took a vada that had already been dipped in sambhar and just poured some curd over it. The taste was as bad as it sounds. If you are visiting for nostalgia or old-world charm, you might not give it a try — but lower your expectations, especially when it comes to service and some menu items here.
Anushri G — Google review
One of the oldest Indian coffee house chains in town! You can find almost everything on the menu if you look long enough. And almost everything is delicious and easy to the pocket.
Akash B — Google review
Indian Coffee House is not just a place to eat—it’s a part of India’s living history. From the moment you step inside, you are instantly transported to a bygone era where time moves slowly, conversations matter, and the aroma of freshly brewed filter coffee fills the air. With its humble charm, vintage ambience, and rich legacy, Indian Coffee House stands as a cultural icon that continues to win hearts across generations. I recently visited the Indian Coffee House in [insert city, e.g., Jabalpur], and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The first thing that caught my attention was the staff, dressed in traditional white uniforms with turbans—a sight that reminds you of its roots in the workers’ cooperative movement. There’s a sense of pride in their service, which is warm, polite, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is simple yet satisfying. I ordered the classic masala dosa, vegetable cutlet, and of course, their signature filter coffee. The dosa was crisp, perfectly golden, and served with fresh coconut chutney and tangy sambar. The vegetable cutlet had a lovely blend of spices and a crunchy exterior—comfort food at its best. And the coffee? Strong, flavorful, and served in stainless steel tumblers, just the way South Indian filter coffee should be. Each sip was a treat to the senses. What makes Indian Coffee House special is not just the food but the atmosphere. The decor is modest, with old wooden furniture, high ceilings, and vintage wall fans. There’s no rush, no loud music, no gimmicks—just a peaceful, old-world vibe that encourages conversation and reflection. Elderly patrons reading newspapers, college students engaged in animated discussions, families sharing meals—everyone seems to find comfort here. It feels like home. One of the most beautiful aspects of Indian Coffee House is its affordability. In a time when cafés and restaurants often overcharge for ambience and branding, Indian Coffee House keeps its pricing honest and accessible to all. This inclusivity reflects its founding principles—democratic, worker-run, and people-centric. Another reason I admire this institution is its commitment to tradition. Despite modern trends, they have stayed true to their original identity. While other cafés may chase trends, Indian Coffee House remains rooted in timeless values: simplicity, quality, and service. In summary, Indian Coffee House is more than just a café—it’s a cultural landmark. It offers a soulful experience that blends food, heritage, and human warmth. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular, the sense of comfort it provides is unmatched. I highly recommend Indian Coffee House to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful, and value-for-money dining experience.

Arq - The Courtyard is a top choice for socializing with friends while enjoying a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Its outdoor seating area is particularly enjoyable at night. Non-vegetarians should try the flavorful Amritsari Fish tikka, known for its juiciness. The Chicken steak sizzler is also mouth-watering and scrumptious.
Visited the place on a very busy and peak hour of the Sunday dinner time. The place was fully occupied but the owner then also managed to have us seated. Post this no menu and even water was provided until we asked 2-3 times and before this only the personel showed up to take the order. The owner had been monitoring and took care of everyone being attended which is a good thing. The food was good 3.8/5 with the comforting ambience. Not only RICH class but A good and polished level of people show up with thier families so it's a good place for getting a family gathering done. Wide variety of options available and covers all taste. Price is not too expensive and fair enough. Just that when the operation is on peak the staff is either less or is not having enough bandwidth to deliver quality service. Even after we were done with our dinner there was no finger bowl serviced and bill landed to our table before it to us as the staff is very ignorant and unmanaged. Staff quality and table attendance needs to be tuned more else no matter how much good food is there One is never gonna have a good experience.

So being in Jabalpur and finding a good place to have a good time is difficult to find but Arq is one of them I would say. The place is in the outskirts of the city, far away from the crowd. The place is divided into 2 different sections. We were in the bar section, Jabalpour. The place was quite compact amounting to the people there, that too on Tuesday. The range of drinks are quite good, but I would say not all cocktails are good and you have to be wise enough to choose your tonic. The options in the menu are less according to me. The pizza was fine and I was disheartened to know that they didn't had thin crust on the menu or Neapolitan in there menu. The kebab platter was fine. From my side, they have to improve on there food taste rest the place is good. The place is heavy on the pockets also. Average price for 2 is 1500 rupees. Food 3/5 Ambiance 4/5 Menu 3/5 Drinks 4.5/5 Overall 3.5/5

Worst food experience 🤮🤮 It seemed like you had not come to eat food. You had come just to pay money, the taste of the food was so bad. and Suppose, you are sitting quietly and eating something. What happens after that is that the staff there will stand there and keep watching you to see when you will order something And they charge you more money in the name of . Suppose if the bottle is for ₹20 then they will charge you 47 rupees And when I asked him why he was charging more than the MRP, he replied, I will give you the bill for that. This is how it works here. why we should pay more than MRP. Is there any meaning of that? And if you are thinking that you will be able to talk comfortably, then you will not be able to talk comfortably. I am telling you the truth. Such a couple should not go there.

The problem with these legacy restaurants of the city is that they still think they can get away with their slow service in today's day and age. It took the cashier at the counter 15 minutes just to take my bill. For them, it would just be another day but it is unacceptable for anyone who has seen how newer restaurants provide a way better service experience. Would much rather order at home or go literally anywhere else as this is not the early 2000's and they are not the only good restaurant out there anymore. The food was good enough tho, but the service staff is mostly overworked as the place faces rush in almost any hour. That might be the main reason of the sloppy service.
Varun S — Google review
Visited on a Sunday. Service was responsive but only after calling the staff each time. The place is quite noisy as it is popular with families and seating feels a bit cramped. The AC was just okay, and because of the sizzlers, there was some smoke in the air that didn’t fully go away. We ordered Paneer 65, sizzler, and crispy corn ,all were decent. But the main dish, Paneer Mirch Masala, was disappointing lacked both spice and flavor. Dal fry was good , missi roti was let down ; Maybe the chef was having an off day. Sundays are crowded, so expect some delay and parking issues for cars. Overall, a decent experience, but there’s room to improve.

And a good experience with food here. If you want to have authentic chinese food in Jabalpur this is the place where you must go. Food taste, quality, quantity is truly upto the mark. Though, you have to bear the price which is a little bit on the higher side. But, can assure you, if are a fan of authentic chinese cuisine you would appreciate every bite of bit. My only problem was that hotel never asked for regular water or bottles water and served the bottlwd water only. But, they have charged exorbitantly for a bottle of Kinley water bottle (45 rupees) whose MRP is 20 rupees printed on the bottle. I have told them that you cannot charge more than the MRP but they have mentioned that they can and they have clearly written that in the table. Now, i had no mood to argue with them after having such a good food and thus just left.

4.5/5 rating. We ordered garlic noodles, manchurian (semi gravy) , marinated paneer and veg dumplings. Every item was tasty and I must recommed others to visit as well. Service was good, restaurant was hardly crowded and level 2 was completly vacant when we arrived at 8 pm ( few diners arrived later though). I would rate 4/5 for the ambience. It was simple yet beautiful ambience for visiting for lunch/dinner. Quantity of the food was enough to be shared between 3-4 persons so order accordingly. We realised we ordered too much so had to pack and take away left over. 5/5 for the staff service.

A wonderful place for lunch and dinner both. Food price and taste are both worthy. Staff is also cooperative. Interior gives an ambiance of a very good fine dine restaurant.
Suyash S — Google review
Food is below average for the price they are charging. Also they are charging an additional 10% service charge over your bill plus GST, which is not a general practice in Jabalpur so plz beware....In short not recommend..

Jabalpur Airport, located about 213 kilometers from Pench, is a small yet convenient domestic airport with decent connections to major Indian cities. The current 2-gate terminal offers a cozy and friendly transit experience, with plans for a new terminal underway. The airport staff are known for their friendliness, making the overall experience pleasant. Additionally, the airport's proximity to leopard habitats adds an exciting possibility of spotting these beautiful creatures during your journey.
ब्यूटीफुल एयरपोर्ट, Jabalpur Airport, officially known as Dumna Airport (IATA: JLR, ICAO: VAJB), is a key domestic airport in Madhya Pradesh serving the Mahakaushal region and the city of Jabalpur. It is located about 25 km east of Jabalpur city at Dumna and is managed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) .Overview and LocationJabalpur Airport is the third busiest in Madhya Pradesh after Indore and Bhopal. It connects Jabalpur to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Indore, and Bilaspur. The airport plays a significant role in boosting tourism, providing convenient access to destinations like Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks and Bhedaghat’s Marble Rocks .Facilities and InfrastructureThe airport spans about 960 acres and features a newly inaugurated terminal building opened in March 2024. The terminal covers 115,180 sq. ft., with a capacity for 800 passengers at peak hours. It includes 14 check-in counters, three aerobridges, modern baggage handling systems, escalators, elevators, medical facilities, VIP lounges, and parking for over 250 vehicles. Advanced navigational aids such as DVOR/DME, ADS-B, and PAPI lighting systems are installed, with Instrument Landing System (ILS) integration in progress .Historical BackgroundConstructed during the British era, Jabalpur Airport dates back to the 1930s when it was used by the Royal Air Force. It was earlier known as Jubbulpore Aerodrome, featuring a dirt runway until the 1960s. Modern expansion began with a major project in 2018, culminating in the 2024 terminal inauguration .Strategic ImportanceOwing to its central location, Jabalpur Airport serves as a vital hub for central India, benefiting tourism, business, and trade sectors. The recent upgrades have turned it into a modern gateway enhancing connectivity across the region .

A very small airport with two aero bridges and two luggage belts. The airport is well kept, neat and clean though the men's washroom needs better upkeep. Ample parking is available but reaching the town from the airport is difficult if one does not have personal transport. It is recommended to arrange transport before arrival.
Abhijit M — Google review
The airport is small and is located far from the city. Travelling from airport to Jabalpur city and back is a big problem and is a big task . Taxi mafia is rampant here and they will try to fleece your money at any cost. No Ola/ uber are available here at the airport. Only flights operated are by Indigo here. The check- in was easy as there is no crowd here. The airport has limited and basic facilities. There is no good cafeteria here.

Jabalpur airport is a bit far from the city and the facilities are limited. Limited flights fly from this airport. Passengers must ensure to pre-check the check-in luggage and safety lock tags to be done.. Hassle free security check, parking facility for vehicles, 20+ check-in counters.
Teja I — Google review
No ola/Uber available. You will have to go by private cabs or can book cab services from here. You can reach here with Ola/Uber, but they might ask for double fare to drop you. So just be prepared to pay more for cab if you don’t have any vehicle arrangements. The airport is well maintained, but don’t have digi yatra services and no food stalls as of August 2025.

Jabalpur Airport is a small and clean airport with limited facilities. There are only one or two food and shopping options available. It’s easy to navigate but quite basic. The only drawback is that it’s located far from the railway station, which makes travel a bit inconvenient.

Situated at the last corner of jabalpur, it's pretty, but they should start more flights from here Beautiful airport in terms of jabalpur 💖
Arpita K — Google review
Jabalpur Airport is located about 20 km from the city, but the facilities are extremely poor. There is no prepaid taxi counter, and Ola/Uber services are almost non-existent. On arrival, you are left at the mercy of the local taxi and auto drivers, who often overcharge or force you to share rides. I was even made to pay parking charges at the exit gate for no reason. The authorities really need to look into improving passenger transport facilities and regulating these issues.
