Nature & Parks
Tranquil nature reserve known for its clear water beaches, cliff diving & wide variety of orchids.
Slide 1 of 8
Very nice park. 15 euro fee for one car for one day. Easy to buy a ticket online with car plate number. Be aware, very rocky roads. The park has access to numerous small and big beaches with their own charm. By car you can reach almost all the beaches with a small walk.
It was such a delight to our eyes and on a good weather day, would be a great place for snorkelling, kayaking or diving. When we went, the water was quite chill and we went around the sunset time… it was so beautiful and calming just to sit around watching the nature and listen to the waves.
Very nice place, clear blue water like in a movie, we arrived there with a scooter 👍 but the wasps kept following me 😭
Tourist Trap! More Cars than flowers, huge amounts of people, Waste all around in the nature. We really expected something else. Place would have the potential to be very nice, but with today’s concept it has little to do with a real nature park or reservoir - it is in fact an overcrowded beach area. Not worth the 15€ you have to pay. There are way better areas for botanical lovers and to go swimming - for free.
beautiful amust see. many beaches.
Utterly stunning landscape. Highly recommend a visit
Wonderful place to enjoy, swim and snorkel. The toilets are always clean. Nice place!
While nature is undoubtedly the highlight, the overall experience is undermined by a lack of environmental stewardship and overwhelming crowds. The Park appears to prioritize tourism revenue over preservation. Although cycling is promoted and rentals are readily available, there are no dedicated cycling paths. Cyclists are forced to share the same narrow, dusty roads with cars and pedestrians, creating a chaotic and unsafe environment. Vehicles are allowed to drive all the way to the cliffs, stirring up dust and adding noise and pollution to what should be a wild natural setting. Beaches are overcrowded and loud, far from the atmosphere one might expect in a safeguarded National Park. The result is a place that feels less like a protected natural area and more like a chaotic amusement park—an Instagram backdrop rather than a space for mindful, eco-conscious exploration. Kamenjak could be so much more if efforts were made to promote sustainable tourism: car restrictions, proper cycling infrastructure, limits on visitor numbers, and a focus on environmental education would go a long way. As it stands, it’s hard to fully appreciate the beauty when it's being overrun and exploited.

Nice park, beautiful beach. But next time come with off-road. :-)
Great clean water. Even on a busy day, we could still find plenty of space and could make it into the water without any issues. The tourists were all nice, polite, and minded their own enjoyment.
Nice location to bathe and wait for the sunset on Premantura peninsula. There’s a small beach bar with food and drinks set among the pine trees. There’s music to chill under the pines.
The beach is hidden, beautiful and intended for small children. Because it is very popular, it fills up quickly. There are several smaller bays along the beach. The bar on the beach only accepts cash, which bothered me a lot. The excuse was that they don't have internet, which is not true because I used it myself. The prices are high, the portions are small. This beach is also included in the 15€ entrance fee and is accessed via a dirt road. The place plays very loud techno music.
Its better and cheaper to pay online for car Kamenjak park entrance, there is separate gate for pre paid cars. Great beach, easy to approach by car, 4x4 helps but not needed. Bar is also good but you can only pay by cash. Clear water and also a small cliff for jumping.
Beautiful beach in the natural park. Cash bar serving food & drinks. Beautiful water. Plenty of seats in the bar and shade to sit under. We hired a bike and rode here which was super fun & had amazing views of little beaches along the way.
Food drink and exellent bartenders. Just fabulous and magical..🥰🥰
This is the only beach I have visited on kamenjak so can not compare it with other places but it definitely is beautiful. Approach with car is offroad-ish but if you ride slowly, normal car would be ok. The beach itself - with kids friendly approach to the sea - is rather small. You will enjoy it more if you have older kids who are okay with tougher entrance to the sea. The water and the view is 5 stars. The main downside for me was the fact that is gets really crowdy.

We rented a tandem kayak and went exploring the coastline. During our expedition, sadly, the front part of one of our paddles fell off and disappeared into the ocean. Despite the missing paddle, we managed to get back in time. After explaining what happened to the owner, he felt sorry for us and did not charge us anything for it. We were really happy for his understanding, avoiding any unpleasant discussions about what happened.
Lovro is a professional windsurf trainer. We attended on the basic training with my family and we enjoyed all the minutes. He teached us the theory and made sure that we can apply it in practice. He checked the weather the day before to secure the right conditions and informed us in the evening about the start date. We even received photos and video at the end of the training. I fully recommend him if you would like to try out windsurfing.
We had a fantastic private (speed)boat tour this week. What a nice experience!! Owner takes good account of the weather situation to ensure an optimal and safe boat trip. We saw many beautiful places around Cape Kamenjak and several uninhabited islands in the Medulin Riviera: beautiful water caves, fish, dinosaur footprints, rare plants ... . Very nice contact: spontaneous and with great knowledge of the local situation. Highly recommended, both among adults and with children!
We had a great time with Emmanuele during our kite classes! 100% recommended! He was passionate, reliable and fun! Picked us up directly at the beach of our campsite! Great teaching, great session!
Too little wind for a wingfoil and Lovro proposed to go with kayaks around the beautiful Kamenjak. He gave us appropriate equipment (one sit in and one sit on top kayak, wetsuit, drybag ...) and instructions on best places to visit and so we went. It was a beautiful family experience. We visited both caves, even had a great luck with low tides to enter the cave by boat (water only had 13C so swimming for die hards only). After that we made a stop in the Safari bar (great food) to refill our energy. We were with a teenager and he loved it as well. We highly recommend Lovro and this kayak experience.
The owner definetly knows his business. He helped us with the equipment and gave us great advise to improve our windsurfskills when we were there in June. We will definetly come back
It was a wonderful experience we went kayaking and scuba diving and had fun.Kile and Lovro were very kind and they helped us at difficult situations besides they were very funny and talkative
The place has a myriad of options for water sports. We had a great experience renting a kayak here. We booked a tandem kayak for 8 hours and two hours in, a thunderstorm started and we were stranded on an nearby island. The owner picked us up with his speedboat and was very kind to offer us to use the kayak for the remaining time the next day - many thanks again! The kayak itself was robust and the paddles were light and easy to use - i can not say more to them as we are complete beginners, but we felt it was easy to maneuver and to paddle once you get the hang of it. We visited all the nearby islands, but we liked the Fenera Island the best.

We entered the cape Kamenjak at “entrance 2”. (You pay a fee of 15€ per car at the entrance or online). Then get ready for a bumpy and very dusty car ride down a macadam road. When you get to the desired bay, you park wherever you find place (be creative). Mali Portic is a lovely natural sand bay with a cocktail beach bar and lots of shade! Clear water and nature😍
Easy accessible by hiking, driving, boating. Long rocky bay with several relaxing corners and shadow from pine woodlands behind. Also a bar nearby.
Amazing place few steps from free parking! Protected from the sun, with easy-to-climb bank where there is plenty of places to sit. Protective footwear necessary. You will find even the swing for funny jumping into the beautifully turquoise water! Only thing I am missing is shower.
€13 to get in the area which has many lovely coves. The coastline is so lovely with beautiful waters. Very busy but can always find somewhere to sit. Also lots of shade available. Some toilets and food available in parts. Just note: When we drove to the area we followed "buy tickets" signs and went on a wild goose chase. Forget that sign. Go to the main ticket booth with the barrier and buy your ticket there or buy online. Car queues were long and you soon realise if you either buy online or get out of the car to join the queue of people buying a ticket at the booth and then you can skip the queue and get through the barrier. It's ANPR. The roads are fairly rough and dusty.
Amazing spot, If you walk just a bit you can find a spot near the sea with also shadow. The water is really amazing and full of fishes. The only problem is the presence of the boats: pay attention when you swim
Hidden gem for some shade and refreshments while biking around Kamenjak peninsula
It's a small cozy beach. The only trouble is the bar next to it has non-stop music, the rythm can be quite annoying.
It is beautiful but this beach in particular doesn't have the place arranged for kids. And is pretty deep

Beautiful beach and lots of spots to sit. There’s a good amount of shade from the trees and also good spots on the rocks to enjoy the sun. Parking lot is very convenient and mostly in the shade.
Beautiful clean waters - Great nature environment.. If you have sensitive feet take your beach shoes with you ..
This is a dog friendly area. You can park outside of the compound and walk to this beach as it is 5 min closer if you park inside and pay 15 euros. The sea is crystal clear. Highly recommended it but would advise to come early as it is harder to find a good shaded spot later.
Beautiful beach, perfect for families with children! There’s a wooden platform for easy access to the rocky beach, with stunning views both around and underwater. Entrance to Kamenjak Park costs €15 per car, but it’s better to buy your ticket online for €13.50 per passenger car and skip the long queue (tickets available at Kamenjak site). Highly recommended!
A pleasant and peaceful place.Especially if you stay on the cliffs under the trees a little away from the beach. You can watch lots of fish in the sea.
Amazing small beach. The view is wonderful. It's located 20 min walk from the village. Everything is clean and well preserved.
Closest decent beach to Premantura. Clear water, lots of boulders to sit on with many shadowy rest areas. It has a restaurant and a street workout facility, recommend .
Nice beach. Prices for drinks and food are fine. I got the first good coffee here in Kap Kamenjak.

Super nice crew, relaxed athmosphere, no rush, just pure joy diving with them. They are very professionalI made me and my son feel completely safe. I higly recommend them!
Took a diving course - very happy about it. Instructor Pauline was really helpful, taught us everything we were going to need. Others were also very kind. Only one unpleasant experience - breathing device was not desinfected properly after last use, got sick afterwards.
As a total beginner they gave me a personal guide and any gear I didn't have. Staff is friendly, the dive was enjoyable at the Kolumbarica Caves where they took us on a small boat. If you go to Premantura this is the dive center I recommend :)
Great dive, tiptop! I dived a discovery dive for the first time in my life and it was amazing to see all the fishies in the big blue. It felt like flying. The instructors were very professional and kind! I recommend it for everyone.
Nice people, nice place and nice diving experience. Great place for beginners and experienced divers. If you are close a must visit.
It was a great experience, thank you very much.
We went to some great spots at Kap Kamenjak and had some nice and relaxing guided dives with the Scuba Libre team. They are very friendly and professional. 10/10 would dive again with this great crew. Thanks guys, wish you all the best
Very beautiful diving spots and they offer a variety of possibilities for everyone. Diving courses, but also a lot of different trips to wonderful places. For all divers - beginners to very experienced ones. The trips are individual every day, depending on who is taking part. And the most important thing - they are very relaxed and very friendly. We had a good time 😊

Amazing tour with the kajak! We had an amazing guide who showed us several nice spots and did nice recommondations for diner. It was the whole experience what made our day. The kajak was not very long but the walk to the cave was also nice and the cave itself was very cool. It was very nice to receive all the pictures afterwards.
We had an amazing time on our bike tour with Jistra Adventures! 🚴‍♂️ The route was absolutely stunning, with beautiful coastal views, charming local paths, and just the right amount of challenge. Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. The bikes were in great condition, and the whole experience felt really well-organized from start to finish. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip – highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the area in an active and exciting way!
Great Experience and very dedicated team and very patient too, we rented a boat for a day with 6 people and our dog and my parents did the off-road e-scooter adventure tour! It was amazing!
Had a kayak tour booked with, due to high winds they had to cancel. They offered us a an e-bike tour which was more expensive without charging us the difference and they even added an earlier ebike tour to accomodate our schedule. Excellent service and the ebike tour with Ivan was really fun. Really appreciated the time he took to go in the cave with us.
It was amazing experience for me since I was for the first time on a cycling, kayak and SUP tour. Andrea, Debora and Dora were such amazing hosts. They provided me all the help that I needed as a beginner and they were great company as well as great instructors. I especially loved the SUP and kayak tour. It is great feeling to explore hidden nature gems, such as caves and beaches, of Cape Kamenjak by kayak and to swim in crystal clear Adriatic sea. I plan to come back and explore some more and would definitely recommend it to all
We did a e-mtb-tour, it was beautiful. Because it was the low season we could ride without alot of tourists. The trails were fun and the mtb's were good. Would do it again!
We rent e- bikes from company. Everything was fine, we were riding across Kamenjak. Bikes in good condition. People who works there really nice and helpful, explain us how we can spend time, where to go etc. I highly recommend this team !!!
My friend and I had a wonderful day riding bikes along the coastline of Cape Kamenjak. The bike trip was the highlight of our week, we would definitely recommend Jistra Adventures Bike Rental. 🙂 Mountain bikes were in a good shape and the cost was reasonable. The feeling of cycling was brilliant, one of the best things I've ever done anywhere. Some parts of the route were a little bit challenging but the scenery was breathtaking (worth it 🙂). I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that is looking for a cool way to explore the beauty of Cape Kamenjak! Thanks to the staff! They provided a great service, were very friendly and glad to share their recommendations for cycle routes and great places along the way. 🙂

My favorite beach out of the three in the park we went to. Great for snorkeling as others have mentioned. Shade available from the nearby pines. Njive Beach bar is only a 5 to 10 minute walk away if you need something.
Very nice beach, middle in the wild nature.
Beautiful beach!! A lot of people but somehow you will find a place to sit, and if you dont there will be plenty of places around.
Excellent spot for snorkeling! Great place to learn it also because of the calm (very) clear waters. This has to be the hidden gem in this area, incredibly beautiful on a sunny hot day! Is this the perfect beach?! It sure is mine!
Great beach, although access is a little difficult. Large area to park and nice pebbles (not too hard). Some shade available on the rocks, but not on the beach. Lots of fish to see and interesting underwater rocks to explore. No bar.
Great beach, fun for kids. Waves, peables and pine wood
I don't recommend this beach. Small, rocky with difficult ascent. The journey on foot takes over 30m from Premantura. High waves and lack of descent for people sitting on the rocks around the bay.
The beach is rocky, the water is clear and beautiful with lot of fish. There was enough place not too crowded. The Parking place is about 2-300 meters away.

Recently, I visited a breathtaking place with my family, the most beautiful we've ever seen. The highlight was a magical "underwater cave", offering a surreal experience with its crystal-clear waters and stunning formations. Even a three-hour drive is worth it for this unforgettable adventure. The destination offers breathtaking views of the sea. If you're looking for a memorable family outing, this place is an absolute must-visit.
This beach is magical—we absolutely loved it! My tip: from the restaurant/bar, head left and walk about 15 meters. You’ll find plenty of space under big flat rocks, and if you come early in the morning (before 2 PM), you’ll even get natural shade, which is perfect. Still, I recommend bringing a sun umbrella just in case. What’s also great is that this spot puts you right in the middle of everything—on one side there’s a big cliff for jumping, and on the other, about 10 minutes walking further left, you’ll find the “blue cave,” which you can only enter by swimming. It’s totally worth it! I’d also suggest bringing swimming fins—they make the whole experience even better.
I've read many good and bad reviews about this beach and I'm gonna give you the most honest review/opinion on it. So, its great. You can hike or drive to it. When you get to the entry you get a ticket, or buy it online (better option imo - you need to enter your cars licence plate and the ramp will open automatically). There will be road signs telling you where to go, but the road is horrible! Many rocks, holes, dents BUT it's fine when you drive slowly. It took me around 10min to slowly get to the parking space. The walk from the parking to the beach will take you 5minutes at most. We went down through the Safari Bar and ended up staying a little bit away from the crowded part of the beach where the jumping cliffs are. The beach on its own is rocky, definitely not good for younger kids and elderly, because there is no real shade and enterances into the sea. The water is a little wavy, crystal clear and has many fish and corals to see when snorkling. Jumping off the cliffs is overall safe, but jump in the same spots as others and start lower and then go crazy. The safari bar offers good food and drinks - I had kalamari sandwich and boyfriend had gyros which was delicious after a long day at the beach. Also, there is an ATM behind the bar if you need cash. After alot of sun we went to the car and drove to Njive beach (maybe 3-4min drive to the other parking lot) to get a bit more shade. Overall, great beach and would recommend.
Adventure beach, with cliffs to jump from, crystal clear water.
Awesome place for Cliff diving(0-17m), snorkeling, sunbathing and exploring,10/10😩
A very nice place were you can jump from the cliffs, or you can watch people jumping into the sea. Not an ideal place for sunbathing as is to rocky . Heads up, if you don't to wait to enter the park, make sure you go when they open, as is getting crowded quite soon after. At 9 AM we entered without waiting, but when we exit the park , around noon, during the peak season, the waiting time is 1hr+ as there were many cars waiting to enter.
Beautiful spot! The water is perfect, we had no current. You can easily go by car and park close by. There are many hidden cliff-spots were you can enjoy the view. It is not the perfect spot for small children or babies. During the summer months many people visit the spot for cliff jumps, but it is still possible to find calmer places.
Absolutely beautiful, great for cliff jumping

Great place to learn how to wake because of the individual approach. The instructor is great and everybody can learn to wake in 20 minutes.
It is a friendly place with excellent and friendly staff. All compliments to Sasa for his approach, patience, and peaceful mind when working with kids. I recommend it to everybody for his progress and stepping into wakeboarding. All compliments to the crew!
The best place for my son; he does tricks and enjoys in the company of friendly people. Perfect ambience 🤗 thank you Saša and team 😉

With just €30 you get a mini theory lesson taught in excellent Italian and 20 minutes of practice (and I assure you that is a lot because it is really very tiring even for the most trained).
