Netty. Was. Here. Newly renamed the Taylor’s Bond Store & Cafe is a spot where you can get a great tasting coffee and lite meal. Then wander through a local artist gallery and store upstairs. The menu has been downsized to simplify things with Turkish Toasties, seasonal Salads that change regularly and delectable Cakes. A change is as good as a rest, Barry & Bridget are doing their best to rejuvenate the building and the use of space inside. With plans to run art classes in the future. The selection of items upstairs are creative, crafty and one of a kind. As they like to source local artists to display and sell their artwork. I very much enjoyed my coffee and wander around. The cafe owners and some of the locals out front are incredibly friendly and down for a chat. Thanks for the good morning coffee!
Had breakfast here, good food, excellent coffee. Was pretty full when we were there and it can get cramped but we didnt suffer from it. The service was very good also. Parking is on the street. Prices are reasonable
Unimpressed . Over priced and uninspiring meals . French bread for partner was plain and boring and overly sweet . Garnish of any form would have made it .. better , a eg: strawberry or anything . Do yourself a favour go to one of the many OTHER cafes in Morphet . If you reserve you might get the rear seating but the view is poor to say the least . Coffees good . But the staff are ... sour ! The egg was an add on .
I personally think the food is below average. I didn't quite enjoy anything I had there. It is pretty on a nice day.
Great ambience, the building is beautiful. Ensure you check out their giftshop upstairs!
Stopped in at Morpeth on our way back from Barrington. Great lunch spot. Sat out in the courtyard, so relaxing. Recomend the steak sandwich and the cheese and dill pizza. Yummo.
Such a beautiful place. The pear and almond tart was wonderful! Love the building, staff and goodies. Great coffee too.
Really disappointed that you cannot be bothered to update your opening hours on Google. I checked yesterday before driving out here this morning only to find a notice on your front door. It’s my husbands birthday today and I wanted to try your cafe for his Birthday brekkie. Won’t be coming back!

Nice cute local bar in the town. There is live music on Sunday arvo, such as a local Jazz band of folks having a good time with their mates. Their locally brewed dark ale is rather smooth and easy to drink. They don't sell it in cans or bottles, though. Apparently, you can host a function on their verandah.
To taste the Morpeth Brewery beers, find them located inside the actual pub. They have 4 beers on tap amongst the usual traditional pub beers sold in country towns. We decided to share a paddle to sample each beer. They were ok, but felt that other breweries have better flavour and more complex profiles and are more creative with their brewing styles than what’s on offer. It was still great to try them out, and agree with others it has great opportunities to expand. It’s just weird that it’s served in a traditional country pub and not separate business. The whole experience was a bit lost in amongst a regular pub environment.
There doesn’t seem to be any signs that point to River Port Brewing Company. All signs point to Morpeth Brewery and Beer Co. Unfortunately no takeaways as you might expect from a brewery. But they will happily pour a beer on tap.
Very cool pub that happens to have a mirco brewery in the back. I wasn't expecting great things but was very wrong!! Their IPA was incredible, hoppy with a clean bitterness, very tasty! I enjoyed their pale ale, and dark ale too, and the atmosphere was very inviting. Being a small town a lot of characters were present, I had a very enjoyable time. Would return
Had a great chat with the brewer, top bloke. Beers are good, really enjoyed the Tractor dark ale and the Windjammer IPA. (Brewer swears he named it Windjammer before green beacon came along). Fyi, the craft beers have their own section inside an old established pub, not that it matters but might cause some confusion if you rock up looking for the joint
All the beers are great, no 2 the same. Friendly Brewer happy to chat. All the used malts and hops goes to local farmers for cattle feed. Very cool and delicious. 🍻😎
Just a general issue. With a hour wait for food we were told we couldn’t sit outside with some beers and get a couple of burgers from up the street while the bistro was open. A bit harsh.
Great opportunity and potential to grow the brewery side as when you walk in just looks like a local pub and you have to ask where the brewery side of things kicks in. I walked away with two growlers looking like a redneck with his moonshine but what they do have on tap is a good drop would recommend a visit and taste.

If you have a sweet tooth this is where you definitely want to stop into. Miss Lily's has an amazing range of confectioneries, ice cream, and fudge! From hard rock candies, to random import gummies. Even has Dr pepper in the fridge cold! It's a 5 star for me just for that! I felt like a kid in a candy store! There's just so much there I wanted to grab. Next trip !
If you're on a budget I don't recommend this place because you will be undoubtedly ripped off. I went in recently and purchased a few lollies. My small glass coke bottle was nearly $8. The lucky dip didn't have much in them and you feel pressured when paying with card since they have a sign saying they would PREFER cash if possible.
Great lollie store in Morphet. I found my favourite liquorice bar here from my childhood. The Choo Choo Bar! So hard to find anywhere anymore. Loved this store 😊
What an embarrassment to every business in beautiful Morpeth. For a start, I highly recommend that if you have children in tow - steer clear from this establishment. I wish I was joking - I am not. Living only a couple of minutes from loverly Morpeth, I often take visiting friends and family members around the many excellent businesses in town (my family and I highly recommend all them with this one exception - the Morpeth Lolly Shop) Poorly stocked shelves, staff too interested in phones to assist, how the Lolly shop hasn’t taken out small business of the year completely escapes me. Never in 42 years have I, or the visiting family members accompanying me ever experienced such blatant unprofessional behaviour. If you wish to be made fun of by possibly substance effected staff (and their undesirable acquaintance's) regarding subjects such as the correct use words such as ‘may’ vs ‘can’ when used before the word ‘please’ (which was used of cause) look no further than Mopeth’s Lolly Shop. Obviously the look of utter bewilderment was too much for the sub-standard staff, as they found this to be utterly hilarious. This went on for some time and with pregnant pause the situation became more and more amusing, to the point where I and others became concerned for their physical and mental health as they struggled to breathe. I was of cause very happy to be eventually informed by the dark haired young lady that ‘the word your looking for is ‘may’ before bursting out in even more raucous laughter. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good joke and if it comes at my expense - who cares have laugh. But unfortunately no one present believed there was a joke - of any kind. Honesty, If I hadn’t of been utterly committed to purchasing some darn white chocolate choc buds for my very elderly and unwell father the situation may have ended much differently - what a complete embarrassment of a business. Unfortunately, as a result nobody present today has a good word to say about Morpeth’s Lolly shop. I thoroughly believe this excuse of a business is little more than a blight on the well deserved excellent reputation of the local area. What a shame, I can only assume that it must be the passing tourist trade that keeps the doors open. If I could give a negative rating I would. The Rest Morpeth is awesome and well worth a look.
I love the rock candy very lovely owners so many choices. Updated went back 31 st of may 2025 still open from the floods thank God still lovely choices and people are awesome as always keep rocking they have a new range I bought nerd clusters can't get them anywhere man they are good still love this place, and the imported Mexican coke its expensive due to it being imported but best coke you will ever have!
They have a large variety of different lollies and some chocolates. My 10 yr old was in lolly heaven. Young female girl with long dark hair working there was not so sweet. I was asked if I wanted a bag and that was it. No hello, no goodbye, no thank you - nothing.
There are plenty of lollies to choose from and at a good price
Excellent variety of sweets, including some I haven't seen since I was a child. I was slightly confused by their arbitrary surcharges for paying with card. The ACCC has passed a ban on vendors charging more than the fees they themselves pay, which are minimal (see below), however this store wanted to charge a flat fee of $2 for a $5 purchase a kid ahead of me wanted to make. They would not listen when I tried to explain that what they are doing is illegal but hopefully the complaint I made to the ACCC will help them understand the rules better. I found the Campbell’s store online and made enquiry, within the same day I had received an email back. Sue was so genuinely helpful and accomodating to special requests with my order, including gift wrapping and postage. She went above and beyond, nothing was an inconvenience or too much to ask. My Golliwogs have arrived in QLD, the packaging is stunning and the Edith gollis beautiful!! I rarely leave reviews however, this business is so deserving of one and a special shoutout to Sue! Excellent customer service 10/10
A very cool collection of stuff from a lot of reputable sellers, but the mass selling of racist toys and memoribilla which is pretty commonly known to be outdated and in some cases outlawed is disgusting. Including the sale of Swastika and Nazi memoribilla and 3rd Reich material. Which the shop owner boasted "yep, they're real!" I've gladly reported this store after photographing their disgusting material, which is outlawed for sale in Australia. A real shame because the store is a gem otherwise. Put a real sour taste in my mouth regarding Morpeth.
A great venue easy to spend a lot of time in. Goods are well organised and presented. Staff helpful. Second hand buttons are upstairs with an extensive range. Cafe and facilities on site.
I'd give this 0 stars if I could. This place just has a sign warning about some of the contents they sell. However, I was not expecting the sale of Nazi memorabilia masquerading under "Morpeth Museum". I thought profiting off Nazi memorabilia was illegal??? When queried staff, they said ..."yes they are for sale". This place has gone downhill from what it used to be decades ago.
💕 It's easy to spend a few hours in just this corner of main street in Morpeth! Starting with a tasty meal or drink in the courtyard restaurant around behind the building. The atmosphere here makes you feel like you've gone away on holidays! If you look carefully, you will spot some water dragons, in the gardens, catching some sunshine 😁 Then there's the store itself to explore! With many rooms all holding different treasures, from paintings, antiques, Moore Croft collectibles, to tasty local treats!
I love visiting Campbell's Store in Morpeth, such an eclectic mix of items. I usually visit for the antiques centre, if you like old things make sure you give yourself enough time to scour the bulging shelves. The staff are helpful and once your finished with antiques you can check out the arts centre at the back of the building. You could easily spend half a day in this complex, longer if you stopped for tea and scones at the tea rooms.
Morpeth is a great place for a weekend drive and a fossick through Campbells Antique store.

This is an amazing place to visit. In fact Morpeth is worth the drive. It is open on a Sunday!!!!! If you have deep pockets check out the upstairs gallery. The Max Mannix original water colours. Stunning!
A nice place to visit, with plenty of wonderful paintings to see, and lots of nice items in the shops
Beautiful gallery with very helpful staff. Best place in town to buy gifts, condiments and local art
Great tourist spot. Love the local artists as well. Definitely worth the trip
Absolutely love visiting the gallery , I could spend hours there . Every time I visit I just want to buy more and more . All the artists works are fantastic. Trevor, Kathryn & Janelle are all so helpful and informative, you will never go wrong buying at Morpeth Gallery. Thank you all for all assistance and care that you have given and getting my interest back in really quality art work . This Gallery is really worth a visit , make a day of it . Cheers Tim & Roisin
A very interesting and intriguing venue. Wonderful and varied natural fibre clothing and an amazing array of nic nacs, including a 3m tall toy giraffe. Upstairs is found some absolutely breathtaking artistic displays, some costing considerable amounts of money and encompassing many different realistic styles. These artists displayed mind boggingly unbelievable talent. I found it inspiring. The sales assistants provided extremely knowledgeable and friendly service. I had a wonderful and unexpectedly enjoyable experience. Recommended. 👍🍻
This place is a little gem. We popped in for a look and were amazed at the amount of extremely high quality art displayed. Beautiful portraits, landscapes and nature sketches, oils and watercolours by some of Australia’s best known and new talented artists shown. Staff were very friendly and happy to share their knowledge.
Lovely selection of goodies.full range of beerenberg products. Art work upstairs is lovely but extremely expensive.... would have been nice to see perhaps a range of prints available for those whose budget doesn't run so high

Such a cool antique centre with a vast array of interesting items. There's also a cafe and a gallery. Plus lots of other places and things to do in and around the centre.
Second hand vinyl being sold for 2-3x its value. No idea how they're arriving at their pricing. I've been several times over last few years and they don't appear to be selling many records, the same stock is on the shelves year on year - lowering the prices seems like a no brainer if they want to sell anything. Selling nazi memorabilia also really distasteful.
One of the most interesting collection of antiques and rare things. A great place to wander through.
Love this place, discovered more antiques upstairs which was sooo awesome. Found something exciting that I was looking for. Fantastic store and great service by all staff, thank you🙂 All shops open today, and lots to see and buy.
Wonderful time. Lots to look at, beautiful relaxed brunch. My 16 year old daughter led the way looking in every nook and cranny. This surprised me and gave me great joy. Came away with antique buttons, journals, sweets and a gift.
Love the concept and must visit again and have a longer look around. Pity pricing above market to the intuitive buyer.
Hours of shopping good for coffee.
One of the most interesting collection of antiques and collectables I've seen. Books, jewellery, coins, toys, cards and postcards, clothes, hats, historical items, toys and thousands more. Spend ten minutes or an hour, you still won't see everything. Two levels, many rooms. Helpful staff, attentive and kind. Highly recommended.

I commented on a Facebook post outside business hours. Got a very quick response. Had the item put away for me so that I could phone through payment the next day. Steve was so efficient. Not only popping my parcel in the post for me (interstate) but texting me to let me know it was sent. Very efficient customer service.
