Just wonderful. The guide was exceptionally well informed and passionate. The two hours flew by. Felt very privileged to be on the tour. Make sure you book it in advance.
I was really excited to visit this place. However the websites instructions are very misleading. Basically, they have opening hours... which you'd assume you'd be able to rock up and buy tickets and view... but it seems you must buy tickets and arrive on time for a tour. Outside of these times they lock the gate, start the tour and completely ignore you. Considering this is a tourist destination, you'd assume this would be explained: 'buy ticket online, arrive on time for the tour and enjoy the tour' instead it doesn't. Sadly we travelled really far just to see the gate.
Teach the staff how to treat people with respect and accept that bad things happen and they can help solve them October 2024 We were looking forward to coming to Cabanon de Le Corbusier and purchased our tickets way in advance. We were staying Northwest of Nice and left at 8:00 am for a 10:00 am tour. We tried to load the address on our car - since there is no street address number, the car would not take the address. So we used our Google Maps. We came down the hill and saw the sign for the Cabanon and Google Maps said we were here. We were not there, but we did not know that. I got out of the car and walked around looking for the building. We asked two different groups of people. The first did not know and the second group did, but they did not know how to get there without looking it up on their google maps. Their conclusion was to go the railroad station. Not sure why our tickets did not just give the train station as the address. After all of this we called the staff to say we were coming late and they said too bad - so sad. You are out of luck. We drove there anyhow. They made a bad situation much worse. 1) Did they try to make any accommodations - absolutely not. 2) It was so bad that when we asked to go to the bathroom for some in our party - the receptionist said there were no restrooms around the area - they actually had one and let ticket holders use it - we had six tickets and she was saying no restrooms around. 3) They had an 11:00 am time slot to tour the building without anyone going into the building and we asked if they would just give us a ten minute tour and Amy, who apparently was in charge - said "NO"!. I ran a not for profit for 37 years and we worked to get to yes, never to say no so quickly. Did she do anything to acknowledge that we had driven nearly two hours - that we were probably 900 feet away, just up above and maybe - just maybe she needed to try to do something. NO!!!!!! I have never been treated like this by any museum, cultural facility in my life and in particular in France. One of the staff acted like she wanted to help. Although even her solutions were not helpful. As with most customer issues, these issues have been known to the organization before. I believe they have known that google maps does not get you to the building, have they done anything to solve that? Have they tried to get a number on their address so that car maps can get you there? Have they put any signage up to the area where google maps says you have arrived to solve this issue? Have they trained any of their staff not to dismiss people who have arrived late with some type of accommodation other than you can see it from the outside? In the organization that I ran, my staff would have been trained to resolve issues not make them worse. Did they even try to give us our money back - that was not the option we wanted - they do not offer to give your money back - in fact they say you do not get your money back - but you can write to an address. Save your time - save your money - I am certain this is a worthwhile thing to look at - but if something happens you will run into a buzz saw that shows no mercy and solves no problems. I do not normally turn into an ugly American - but folks and their procedures/attitude can bring it out in anybody.
The Cabanon de Le Corbusier is a small cabin located in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, designed by the famous Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. Built in 1952, this iconic structure is a prime example of Le Corbusier's architectural philosophy, emphasizing simplicity, functionality, and the integration of living spaces with nature. The cabin measures just 3.66 meters by 3.66 meters, showcasing a minimalist design that reflects Le Corbusier's principles of modularity and spatial efficiency. It features a compact living area, a small kitchen, and a sleeping area, all designed to maximize comfort within a limited space. The cabin is situated on a hillside, providing stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The Cabanon is part of the cultural heritage of the region and is often visited by architecture enthusiasts and tourists interested in Le Corbusier's work. If you're curious about its design principles, history, or how to visit, feel free to ask!
Come on ... booking in advance to see a couple of ordinary beach houses and holiday unit as Eileen Gray E-1027 where nothing is worth the visit and it's no different that Le Corbusier have stayed there when you know his work in cities ... let alone for € 19 !
Not possible to buy a ticket without reservation online (which is unavailable) , rude staff at entrance. Save yourself the trip like me and other people who travelled there a long way in hope to learn more about Le Corbusier.
An aberration to have built a restaurant literally attached to Le Corbusier's cabin. It makes his work lose all significance.
Fabulous experience and excellent guide.

wonderful little location in the heart of a romantic town! nathalie was very accommodating and helpful. the only thing that really bugged me was the bathroom door - a sliding door that couldnt be closed all the way. there was a huge gap between the wall and the door so it was pretty see through and not sound proof. very weird for friends, also not ideal for couples if you ask me. however, we really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!
WONDERFUL house in a quaint town, the lady that runs the hotel is very sweet and helpful. Be prepared to walk your luggage up many stairs though. (And no ac as expected) but the house is right across the entrance from the 10th century castle. An approx. 20 minute walk down stairs to the nearby hawk beach. (Definately take the bus back up though)
Cutest little spa in the most charming village! Nathalie is so sweet and accomodating - everything was perfect
Absolutely amazing little hide away! So relaxing and super friendly welcome by the staff! 5 star and more 🤗
Lovely hotel in the center of charming Roquebrune-cap-Martin. We only stayed one night but will certainly be back for a longer stay
Misleading advertisement. This is NOT a hotel, its an Airbnb. You only have access to the Spa if you pay 100€ /day in addition, no breakfast/dinner, no reception, 300m steep walkway(only) to drag ur suitcases to this small house/appartement. Please advertise it as is. Lovely surroundings but we won’t be coming back.

This 1000 old olive tree is absolutely incredible and the view from the other side is just as stunning. highly recommend to take the easy path from the old village to here. you can continue this route all the way down.
Been to this charming village several times to admire the centuries-old olive tree. Truly remarkable. Lovely views too over the Mediterranean.
Absolutely recommend coming to see this over 1000 year old olive tree if you’re in the area. Seeing it in person was outstanding and blew me away.
Beautiful huge oldest olive tree in Historical place.

Amazing tour and very friendly staff! The tour is 2 hours long and covers the Eileen Gray Villa, the camping lodge and the hut of le corbusier. Many details are given. The small museum is also quite interesting. I didn’t know that a reservation multiple weeks in advance is necessary but luckily someone cancelled so I got a spot still. Thank you a lot of the great tour to the guides and the people preserving these landmarks.
Amazing architectures, with stunning views, the tour guide was nice and informative ( and patient ). I didn’t want the tour to end, it lasted about 2 hours. There are two tours in the day, 10 am and 2 pm , you have to reserve online first. There are a tour in English and a tour in French. If you are staying in Monaco/Nice you can take the train ( very cheap and fast ) or the bus 100 from Monaco ( but you’ll have to walk for 20mins )
Great place if you are a nerd for architechture. Great guides and an exclusive experience as the groups are small.
Amazing view over Monaco. Don't forget to disable your data roaming. EU tariffs don't apply in Monaco.
Book early, E1027 is not open without the tours. I did it twice very good to hear more than one guide's thoughts
Beautiful, must see tour if you love the work of Eileen Gray and Le Coubusier. Our guide was extremely informative and the visit lasted over 2 hours in total. Very inspiring, with stunning views over the coast. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a very unfriendly dark haired lady working on the reception who was rude and unhelpful, great shame. Apart from that excellent.
Extremely bureaucratic and customer unfriendly ticket office. This is not a recommendation for this beautiful villa. We booked our ticket via internet. Unfortunately with the wrong date. Three times we asked very friendly wether we could change the date. Following our request we got piles of documentation apparently used to support the buraucratic and very formal response: NJET - NJET - NJET. This approach is so unfriendly and old fashioned that we were shocked. This is absolutely not in the spirit of this beautiful project.
The two ladies that are looking after or responsible are just adorable. Thank you

Loved this place. We were there to watch a comedian called Franjo. The garden is so nice for a short walk.
A beautiful park, with many exhibits of sculptures and flower compositions. Children and families enjoy a relaxing time, even birthday parties and picnics! We had a great walk.
This park is bigger than shown on Google Maps! Lots of olive trees, fig trees, citrus trees, and flowers. There are art sculptures and a lot of room to walk around. Very pleasant park
Beautiful place to have a rest with kids, family friends.
Nice park perfect for children. Some art sculptures at the entrance, well maintained. Public toilet available.
Lovely. Great kids playground
First visit. Perfect for outdoor celebrations
The best park in Europe with fantastic old tries over 1000years old. Also advise to visit a lonely tree uphills which might have almost 2000 years.

Great little cafe/bar in a perfect family friendly park. Perfect spot for families to unwind and refresh after or during an afternoon at the park. They offer a great variety of food, drinks, smoothies and ice lollies. Their food menu is very extensive and offers something for all taste. They have platters, panini, burgers, salads, fried snacks, desserts and sweet crepes. They have a lunch menu offer for 15€ and a breakfast menu option for 7€/ 9€/ 11€ you can also add a fresh orange juice for 2€. Loads of seating space with a variety between tables and low level sofas. One for the main seating area is under a stunning centenary olive tree. Located in the top part for the park in proximity to the main playground area just at the top of the stairs. We loved to spend our summer evenings here drinking an Aperol Spritz while the kids run around freely in the park. The proximity of the toilets is also a great plus.
First about the park: great place to spend some time, as it has games for children but also sculptures for parents to look at. And public toilets that are clean, but without toilet paper. Concerning the cafe itself, I was very pleasantly surprised by the variety and healthiness of the proposed dishes. Normally in such a place I would only expect to find sausages with fries, croque-Monsieur with fries, a Caesar salad, sandwiches and spaghetti… Not here ! You can actually have great, healthy food ! My children took the Poke Bawls, and I took the heated salmon with sesame, and both were delicious ! The place is also very agreeable in itself, with comfortable sofas and chairs. The service was friendly. I would advise to not hesitate to call the waiter or go directly to him, as he can be distracted by other stuff and he will not spontaneously come regularly to your table. At the end, you shall pay your bill directly by the cashier. A great place!
Beautiful garden with interesting sculptures. Quiet and unique for children and families.
Very tasty burgers with chicken, fries are just wow
One of the highest concentrations of thousand-year-old olive trees. So beautiful and interesting. Highly recommend for a game of pétanque or just a small walk around

(Translated by Google) It was a VERY interesting tour, lasting no less than 3 hours with a great guide. I highly recommend visiting the fort because most of the rooms have been restored to their original state. The price was reasonable for the time spent inside. Congratulations again to the team of volunteers who have been restoring it over the years. A lot of work and the results are fantastic. Reservations should be made in advance. See the tourist office. (Original) Ce fût une visite FORT intéressante pas moins de 3 heures de visite avec un guide super. Je recommande fortement la visite du fort car la plupart des pièces sont remis en état comme avant. The guide spoke only in French so we were given audio guides in English which was helpful. However, we had to wait 20 minutes after the 2 minute English audio had ended until we could move onto the next section of the fort. The other French speakers seemed to be enjoying the tour so it was unfortunate that the English audio did not match up to what the tour guide was saying. I’m sure we would have enjoyed it much more had there been an English tour option or a self-guided tour with the audio devices. Sadly we couldn’t do any self exploration of the Ouvrage and most of the interesting sections were roped off. The fort itself was an early design, very unique and interesting comparing to other Maginot forts.
(Translated by Google) A highly immersive and enthralling experience; the two-hour visit was like reliving pages of history that should never be forgotten. The volunteers did a commendable job of restoration and cleaning, thanks to a genuine passion that they conveyed through their stories. The fort is rich in relics, some original local items and others from the volunteers' own collections or from external sources. Some areas are still closed because they have not yet been restored, but the overall picture is extraordinary and will be even more so when they are accessible again. The first rooms are cramped; perhaps the number of people should be limited or entry should be staggered more, but it's also true that this depends on the availability of the guides, who are volunteers (the municipal administration could train people, expanding the availability schedule). At the moment, the tour is only available in French; It would be helpful if brochures were produced in other languages, but it's more than understandable that live accounts convey a special emotion, and the volunteers certainly can't be blamed for not speaking either English or Italian. If you use an automatic translator on your phone, keep in mind that there's no signal inside the fort, so you'll need to install the desired language locally before visiting. The photography ban is acceptable; it somehow forces you to focus even more on the uniqueness of the experience and fully appreciate the entire route. Years ago, I also visited the Fort of St. Agnès, about 20-30 minutes from Cap Martin; from what I remember, it's just as good, but if you're a keen explorer, you can visit both.

More than Amazing, no words can express how grateful I was to find such a beautiful church of St Rita's on the day of her feast in the heart of old Nice where I took part in the holy mass ❤️ 🙏🏼✝️ this church is worth a visit for such an amazing saint the saint of impossibilities.
I love this church, it’s so beautiful and Saint Rita, sorting out impossible causes is her strength. We were lucky enough to participate in the rosary this afternoon and the mass as it was “All Souls Day”. Very moving and emotional day. Don’t miss a visit to this church if you are in Nice. The gift shop is great and you can buy candles there to light in the church.
Surprisingly, the best interior of all the churches in Nice. Nothing outside, amazing inside. I won't bother writing reviews on the others.
Beautiful church and wonderful Mass.
Very calm and prayerful place to be
Beautiful church but Rita didn't help me to win Euromillions jackpot, so can't believe saints anymore.
Very good ! I love ❤️

A very nice and cosy restaurant at the beach 🏖️ offers you an incredible view over the sea and very nice food . Everything was great! And would love to come back again soon X
Great place to eat almost on the beach. We have eaten three times over our holiday each time a different dish all have been excellent
I booked this place at 1.30pm and when I arrived they told me that they didn't have any tables available until 2.30pm. So they made us sit on 2 wooden benches and gave us 4 dirty and uncleared tables, with food served in cardboard bowls, very high prices for small portions. Do not take the pasta with clams, 29 euros for a small portion, the clams are of very poor quality, cooked terribly, the pasta if possible worse. The bathroom was dirty and the service was decent.
Good food, friendly staff, overlooking the beach with sea view. What more could anyone want. Chilled 😎
extremely disappointing, 1.5/5, not good enough to round up. we had the tuna tartare, the octopus, the lobster pasta, and a tiramisu. the tartare was very confusing and not good, maybe a 1/5 or 1.5/5. the octopus was nice 4/5. pasta was 2.5/5, the pasta was definitely not fresh, and almost half of the pasta on my plate was broken. did they snap it before they put it in the pot? the world will never know. that being said, the lobster was very fresh and the tomatoes in the dish were nice. tragic plating. good flavor on tiramisu but it had been made 3 days ago, 3/5. this could have been redeemed by the amazing view - the reason we went to the restaurant. however, we were deliberately seated in front of a pole and the edge of two windows, totally obscuring our view and breaking the atmosphere. we asked multiple times if we could be seated at the ocean view table and were told the other table directly on the waterfront was reserved. we then had this very very average meal and watched as nobody ever sat down at the other table. i’ve never had this type of experience. maybe im just not the target audience, lol. would not return or recommend, too many amazing restaurants in this part of france.
Another paillote de plage that becomes "restaurant" with food that doesn't match with the price. It's just fine to get some cold drinks, as before. In any case the beach is beautiful
Lunch here was a delight! We ordered the lobster tagliolini and gnocchetti gambas, both delicious. The restaurant faces directly over the beach - ideal for lunch with a view followed by a swim. I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area.
Outstanding! Great energy, food, and excellent service, just a peaceful walk from Menton to a stunning beach with crystal clear water and this exceptional place.

(Translated by Google) Not a location for everyone, but if you are interested in prehistory it is still fun to look over the fence. You are then standing directly above the cave, but you do not see the entrance. And what is more spectacular than walking in a place where it is certain that our ancestors, Homo Erectus, also walked there more than 1 million years ago. 700,000 years before Homo Sapiens (us) came to life in Africa, and who only came to these parts about 50,000 years ago. Impressive to think about that.

Wow!!! It was the best experience I ever had in my life!!! Everyone was so caring and lovely. I had so much fun! Especially thank you Gilles for this amazing flight!!
We had a great experience with blue parapente. Because of weather conditions we had to postpone the flight to a day later and then we ended up having the best flight! Thierry and his co-workers are super friendly, easy going and kind. We felt safe every step of the way. Definitely recommend going with them! Thanks for having us!
Absolutely fantastic experience. Thierry and his crew are wonderful, and incredibly accommodating. We reserved at the very last minute and they were still able to fit us in, and brought in an extra instructor so that our whole group could fly at the same time. We felt extremely safe, and had so much fun trying the acrobatics. The views were breathtaking taking and all the instructors were amazing.
I've now flown twice with Thierry, once in Roquebrune Cap Martin and once in Monaco, and have already booked my next flight. Thierry is clearly extremely experienced and knows how to put you at ease. His passion for the sport is infectious and you come away from each flight not just with a massive smile but also a better understanding of the sport thanks to his patient teaching skills. Thanks again "Titou" and see you ASAP!!
Amazing experience, great staff, perfect organization. Don't miss it!
