A beautiful little monastery where you were welcomed to join the Sunday service. A spring can also be found which promises good health, and you can see the monks working in the vegetable patches and tending to the farm animals. A glimpse of a different way of life.
Very interesting visit. Please remember to dress respectfully.
One of the most tranquil and beautiful monasteries in Bulgaria. Very old, with healing water (ayasmo) and right next to lots of places to eat and hang out.
Beautiful place, free entry. Remember this is a working monastery.
Really nothing special. Nice to see a working monastery, but there's nothing really to see.
Beautiful monastery of Saint George in Pomerie. Well worth a visit, in between Sunny beach and Burgas.
When you go inside the monastery is so quiet and peaceful, even for not religious people.
Small but interesting place showing important part of Bulgarian culture. Definitely worth visiting

Pomorie Lake is only 25 meters away from apartment 'B22' of Gardino Merlo EOOD. The most beautiful experiences, pictures and memories can only be reached from this unique terrace. Pomorie @ its finest - 🍀🇧🇬❤️
We were there in July 2022, and do love this beach. It's a long line with lots of space between people, the water is not very deep but it has a small edge at places and your little kids have to be careful. The water is clean, however, the sand is black and it can burn your feet so you should be careful. Also, it is better to go in the morning until early afternoon as after that, it usually gets windy and quite wavy. That is when if you are a sports enthusiast you would like to go there and enjoy.
Place worth visiting. Take a mud bath if you dare.
Wonderful bird life
(Translated by Google) The bird watching area is extremely attractive and fun, that's why I give it 5 stars. Go now while there are still birds. However, what people do in the lake is CRAZY! I don't understand why he enters a protected area, the birds are chased away and he builds on this exact spot. MADNESS! All those who want to get covered in mud should stay in their area and before they even feel like walking, it is advisable to visit the salt museum (it is right next to them) and find out how much and in what quantity it is useful their occupation and how it should be practiced in general, so that later they do not find others to blame for the situation in which they have put themselves.
(Translated by Google) Beauty, it is worth seeing at sunset, if possible not in the summer season, because it is full of people (naked) grandparents smearing themselves with mud. September is calmer and still suitable for the beach :) (Original) Красота, заслужава си да се види по залез, по възможност не в най-летният сезон, защото е пълно с хора(голи) баби и дядовци които се мажат с кал. Септември е по-спокойно и още става за плаж :)

It's very silmple, slightly hard to say it is valuable to visit there.
It’s an interesting small museum which can be covered when you enter in 5-10mins. You can buy products including salt for 3€ . To pay ,you need cash. An interesting note if you scan the QR code on the wall before entering the museum : The Museum of Salt in Pomorie was opened on September 7, 2002. It was created with the financial support of the European Union through the program "Far" In implementation of the projects "Everything ¡salt /ALAS/" 2001-2002. and Development of the Salt Museum Pomorie as a completed object and cultural tourism" 2004-2005. The museum in Pomorie is the only museum in Bulgaria and in Eastern Europe specialized in the production of salt by solar evaporation of water. 1 star minus due to the rudeness of the old man that sells the salt and other products in the museum . We don’t know how effective the product we bought is but the salt was good and we are still trying the cream. There’s a small parking space or you can park a little away and then walk
The history of sea-salt harvesting - experience so rare that you cannot miss.
A unique and fascinating museum! The Salt Museum in Pomorie offers a wonderful glimpse into the traditional salt production methods that have been preserved for centuries. The guides are knowledgeable and passionate, and the atmosphere is both educational and relaxing. A must-visit if you’re in the area!
A unique place. A small museum with an interesting historical exposition. Entrance for adults 3 leva, for children 2 leva. Possibility to buy cosmetics. In the area, there are beautiful views of the lake and the opportunity to get dirty with the healing mud.
This place is one of underrated Bulgarian treasures. It could be developed much more for tourists and also for local people. In an outside free of charge salt water "baths" we were max 15 people which took the chance to try them. Healthy water and healthy mud. It is possible to buy some natural cosmetics in the museum. Overall- there is no much to do in this calm and a bit strange place, but we spent more than an hour there. Recommend if you are not afraid of interesting smelling mud he he...
A very well kept clean museum, most if the displays are in English. Staff are very welcoming and tgere is an area where you can have a sulphur bath.
It is a nice experience but not a wow factor. In 20minutes there is nothing more to visit. The museum is a room with pictures and 4-5 pieces that were used for salt gathering from the salt area. Outside there are 5-6 zones where you can see salt getting formed.

I was there today with my family (kids 6 and 10 years, a bit fearful). Weather was not that good, but most of rains were in Nesebyr not here. It was really interesting too watch weather radar :D. See on the photos :) Maybe that's why it was not crowded at all and it was MARVELOUS! Kids really enjoyed the slides! Leaving some of them for next time as too extreme ;) But most of them were great for them and really fantastic. I really enjoyed their smiles :) Lots of lifeguards, very informative and keeping good care of people using slides in a healthy manner. Clean and tidy. Free car parking. What do you need more? We didn't use too much food facilities, only a coffee. Last but not least, I'm a person with proved disability - I was not using slides, only making photos. Because of that i got good discount for enter and was served with really kind service. Very nice and not that often in Bulgaria unfortunately. That is why I really recommend this place. Thank you a lot! Let this comment be my thanks too.
It was a nice afternoon for my kids (7 and 9 y.o.). We bought online the afternoon tickets and had to pay extra 5 lv on place for the safe. The kids enjoyed the small slides (only for kids). I tried some of the big slides. I wish there were slides for the whole family so we could spend time together no matter the age or height. All in all it was clean, lots of staff everywhere. The foam party at 15.30h was cool and everyone enjoyed it.
Recently revisited this aquapark after our visit with smaller kids 5 years ago, and it's still a fantastic destination for a memorable day with kids. The park is in excellent condition and offers a lot of fun. The good: - The park provides a wide variety of slides tailored to different levels of thrill-seekers. The Typhoon tunnel and Tornado slide remained standout attractions for us. - They've transitioned from prepaying for food using the tag to accepting card or cash payments, which simplifies the process of grabbing a quick bite. - Keep an eye on their website for special online discounts, which could save you up to 25% on the entrance fee. What could be better? - Food options are somewhat limited, leaning towards fast food, fizzy drinks, alcoholic beverages and coffee. Keep in mind that prices can be a bit on the higher side. - Toward the end of the day, the staff ran out of change, prompting me to pay by card. - The restroom floors became slippery later in the day. - While the park officially closes at 18:30, they start shutting off the slides half an hour before that. To maximize slide time, arriving before noon is recommended to beat the queues. Overall, this aquapark remains an enjoyable choice for family fun, especially with strategic planning.
We were there on opening day, literally empty, so no queues. I had a lot of fun, water was actually nice and not cold at all. The rides were a lot of fun.
Free and large parking. Price is reasonable. Kids were happy. Quite, no crowded and clean place. You may find same fast food, coffee, beer and ice cream.
Overall we had a nice time, but the park is in need of some improvement. The café/ restaurant was dated, expensive and not much to choose from. The kitchen was very slow. The changing rooms were disgusting.
BOI TS AQUAPARK IS SO TUFF✌️ me and the bois went here to have fun at the entrance they told us to wait 67 minutes to go in because diddy was in there. We had fun at the waterslides then after that we went to the restaurant to order and they gave us MANGOS WITH MUSTARD instead they were so delicious. I forgot to mention that the entrance costs only a quarter
Positive: + at the slides almost no waiting times in high season + good and tight control at entrance and exit of slides, so it appears quite safe + thrill factor of slides: quite good + option to safely store valuables (extra charge) + mostly friendly personell (except for sauna entrance) Negative: - almost only usable for 3 categories of people: a) 2-4 years with mandatory parental oversight; b) larger than 130 cm but below 14 years need parental oversight c) 14 years old can do anything on their own d) this means the „baby“ slides are too boring for kids smaller than 130 cm and the tight control does not allow them to use any other slide (at least we did not find any) - ⚠️ slippery tiles on the ground almost everywhere even on stair steps inside pools felt quite dangerous as I almost fell down several times - floor in male changing rooms and toilets were covered with 0.5 cm water which did not create a clean feeling - rather long walking time from parking lot to entrance without shade - generally insufficient shading except for a few umbrellas and the main tower which provides access to most slides soso: +/- sauna entrance was *strictly* prohibited to below 18 year old kids, even when accompanied by their parents

A truly surreal experience if you're passionate about history, this place is an unmissable destination.
Well preserved and exceptionally well constructed tumulus. The torus vault is very unique and most likely done by a master from Rome or Constantinopole. Location is very unexpected, being outside of ancient Ancialos in the middle of a wineyard makes it even more intriquing.
Very interesting, historically but only requires a 15 minute visit.
It's quiet and somehow ignored historical place simply passed by by most of tourists travelling in this area. However this, in my opinion, is a must visit place for intelligent people interested in history. Entrance is 3 leva (less than 2$). If you happen to be near this place (it's just 100 meters from the Pontica coastal highway) don't hesitate taking a brief break and visit that great place
Old magical place which is worth to visit. Calm and cool in a hot summer day.
Super unfriendly cashier. Called my wife a "curva", but apologized after fe realized I understand. An embarrassment for all Bulgarians.
VERY impressive but I wish they would attend to the access road, parking, weeds and general surroundings to do justice to such a wonderful landmark.
Amazing artifact from ancient civilization of Trachian peoples! Magical and spiritual experience!

Pretty Old Town 🏡
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful place. In general, we really liked Bulgaria for its uniqueness, originality, comfort and kindness. In Pomorie we walked around the old town, quiet, beautiful, sweet. Another world. Fairy. A must watch for sure! (Original) Очень красивое место. Вообще Болгария нам очень понравилась своей уникальностью, самобытностью , уютом и добротой. В Поморие мы гуляли по старому городу, тихо, красиво, мило. Другой мир. Сказочный. The roller coaster passes and stops there. There is an old church that you can enter if you call a designated phone number (it's written on the door). Look at the eye above the gate - a beautiful colorful mosaic. Some houses around have beautiful plants that have 'swallowed' them, but figs can also be found.

Really enjoyed it, very interesting history. Most of it was also in English which was helpful.
Nice little museum. Part of the museum was closed for renovations, so it jumps straight from ancient findings to industial era passing the Middle ages, which was a slight disappointment. Majority of the museum is dedicated to modern era after 18th century with a slight ethnographic bias. Staff was really helpful and most of the legends of the exhibits were both in Bulgarian and English.
Unfortunately the museum of history was closed so only took photos from outside
This cannot be considered a proper review as: I arrived during opening hours to an open door, but empty kiosk. Wandered about with my mask on, alone, no lighting was on but it was reasonably lit. Plenty of religiously based artifacts and information but from what I could tell a bit sparse on other things. I believe the entrance fee was around 5 lev but without change for a 20 was unable to leave a contribution. Still worthy of a visit, not much in competition with it.
A very informative exhibition with lots of historical and cultural artifacts dating back to the first settlements of Anchialos. Very impressive reconstruction of the living spaces of Pomorie people from the past.
They didn't accept Euros
Museum is small, with few artifacts. There are pictures and descriptions.
This is a hidden gem in Pomorie! There is actually so much to see and learn about this ancient sacred place! One of my favorite places to visit every time I come in Pomorie!

Really good to buy fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers. We are coming there every Thursday while we are on holiday.
A very traditional market with fruit and vegtables, clothes, tools and other household goods plus eggs and hens.
I really enjoyed this market. I liked that it was pedestrian only. It could get tight for wheelchairs because of the crowd, but still doable because the roads are paved and even. It had some cool, interesting items, from Turkish rugs and curtains to charcuterie boards and antique china. I even found freshly made Turkish coffee, which was very delicious. Overall a great experience for tourists and locals alike!
Absolutely loved this market, it reminds me so much of my childhood back 30 years ago back in USSR. From socks to tomatoes and boots😵‍💫 you can find anything you want. MY FAVOURITE:Eggs , home chicken, quail eggs are must try!! Turkish detergent are sooooo much cheaper than in special price stores.
More ideal for locals than tourists but gets u away from beach for a while
Great experience seeing a Bulgarian market
market only on Thursdays. Many cars arrive. You can buy many household goods, including authentic ones. From farm produce to Turkish clothing. A variety of products for every taste. The prices are average, not too cheap for the market, but still a lot of homemade. I recommend to visit at least once.
Was dissapointed from a tourist point of view, I was wanting gifts for my grandchildren, there was really nothing suitable, but that's just me, For locals it's great for fruit, veg feed, fresh eggs. Just felt it was quite a distance for nothing special

We didn’t actually visit the centre but the birding around the area was magnificent. Pratincoles, Marsh sandpipers, Slender-billed gulls and Gull-billed terns were all in abundance.
Good place for bird watching. Little exhibition about the wildlife of the surrounding area is also available. Local Guide was very helpful and polite. Gave us I tour and searched out different birds with telescope from cormorants to rare black ibises.
A great site with super knowledgeable personnel.
Interesting bird watching view point, one could just sit outside and listen to the birds songs - relaxing
A great place to spend 2 hours bonding with nature. Nice people, nice experience. Will visit again!

Our tour group stopped here for a wine tasting and it was a fantastic experience. Marina, the co-owner gave us a fascinating and informative tour of the facility. Afterwards we were treated to a wine tasting with a lovely spread. This was an unforgettable experience and Marina was a most gracious host. Highly, highly recommend!!
Had a great time at the winery! The tasting was well organized, and the selection of wines was excellent. Special thanks to the lecturer, charismatic and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
If you hire a car in Bulgaria then make this a place to go it’s free entry and a guided tour with a local worker explains all the process to you and get some samples before you buy any of there great wines and very well priced plus you won’t see them in supermarkets it’s all restaurants and private buyers
Lovely wines for reasonable prices. We could taste any wine and choose what to buy. The lady spoke English, which is quite rare in Bulgaria. She told us everything about their wines. Highly recommend ♥️
Absolutely worth a visit. Very nice and elegant wines, very good price to quality even for Bulgarian craft vineries. Wide choice of whites. Fantastic owners who generously share their knowledge and passion about their wines and grapes. Marina, thank you very much for your suggestion, Early Bird Vermentino was a perfect pairing for turbot, so crisp and lively.
We had an impromptu stop for wine tasting at Stracin winery while on a cycling holiday. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area - Maria and her family were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The two Soulmates wines we tried were absolutely delicious and we can't wait until Stracin grows big enough to export to London!
Very positive visit to this winery. Wished we could have taken more of this wine home. The rose was exceptional.
The great winery place
