My brother married his husband here just over 2 weeks ago now. The ceremony was right near the cliff edge, just passed the little chapel. It was an absolutely gorgeous, hot & sunny day. The views were stunning.
What a delightful find, so peaceful and beautiful. I loved all the shells people have attached to the building and surrounding trees with messages of love ❤️
We recently had the pleasure of attending a friend’s wedding, and the Lady of the Rock truly didn’t disappoint. The setting was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Our friends added some lovely personal touches to the area, but I’m certain this place would be just as stunning, wedding or not!
Nice little chapel with the most beautiful location - scenic-wise. Come here for tranquil walk and enjoy the spectacular view you can get here of the beautiful coastline that Algarve can offer...
Nice little place to visit for about 30 minutes to an hour. We visited on a private tour of the area .It's a very popular setting for weddings. There are also lovely views of the nearby beaches.
A great spot for photos with a beautiful view! Unfortunately, there was a wedding taking place during our visit, but we still managed to snap a few nice pictures. It’s definitely a fun place to stop by and check off your list while exploring the coast.
Stunning view, very picturesque location!
Beautiful place with an amazing view. Very popular for weddings, I've heard from a local guide that the average awaiting time for a wedding slot is around 3 years. Plenty of parking spaces just a few meters in front of the chapel.

Our guide Jonny took us here. It is amazing. A must stop. Hand pained. You can watch the ladies paint. So amazing and very charming. You can grab a bite or drink too. I wanted to buy everything in the store.
Beautiful. Shop both inside and out with the garden area. And the store itself without the display and the hand made Portugese pottery.
Top of potteries we visited in this region (and we visited 10+ places). Here you are sure you are buying handmade and not Chinese print. Recommended
This place is magical. The shop was beautiful with so many amazing pieces to choose from and the cafe had delicious coffee and food (best coffee we had in Portugal actually). We came back the next day just to enjoy the cafe again. This place was definitely a highlight of our trip and would 10/10 recommend.
Porces Pottery is a local pottery studio where they make beautiful handmade pottery. You can find stunning pieces on display, all signed and dated on the bottom. We could not leave empty-handed!
Such a beautiful story behind this stunning store. Owned by two sisters for over 59 years! They were painting whilst we were shopping. Some stunning pieces all signed and dated on the bottom. We spent at least 40 mins looking around. Fantastic customer service
If you like Portuguese Pottery you will love Porches Pottery. You can watch their gorgeous creations be painted right in front of you. Beautiful things. You will not leave empty handed. I would recommend shopping here first so as to be sure to leave room in your carry-on.
Lovely local pottery studio, ran by a group of artists. A lot of selection of different products. There seemed to be a cafe being built when we visited, which would be lovely to have a cup of coffee in.

If you want to cliff walk or sea kayak - get up and go early before the hoards.
Really picturesque beach - at low tide you can explore the adjacent beach with a view of the “arc de triomphe” rock and some small caves - if you are brave - at high tide you walk round to the top to jump off the top (under guidance) there is a small parking area at the top of the stairs and along the single track road leading down. It also has a small cafe (pirate cafe) serving cold drinks and pizza (had a toilet ) which opened at 12. There is a life guard on the main beach and is also a drop off point for kayak tours. It was relaxed early morning but gets busy late morning onwards - with high tide and afternoon crowd people are more or less on top of you as it’s a small beach at high tide . The time we were there there was a load of seaweed which made water visibility poor and the adjacent beach was covered meaning no one wanted to use it . We enjoyed it until it got packed around 1 onwards . At low tide it’s better as you can explore through the small cave tunnel to the adjacent beach with a view of the arc de triomphe rock formation and there is more space on the beach . Fairly gentle incline for small kids in water .
Beautiful spot to spend a few hours (or more) at. Stayed there after finishing our kayaking tour. Come with shade. There's a pizza bar above the beach you can get food & water at
A beautiful beach, but not quiet, full of Instagrammers and "alone in the world" selfies 😅 ... The water is nevertheless crystal clear, with a beautiful hidden secret, a cave access to another smaller beach: Praia de Estaquinha ... accessible only at low tide! Also a superb view of the Arco de Albandeira. An absolutely wonderful place, apart from the crowd.
We came here after realizing it was impossible to have a spot in Marinha beach. Given that it was August 2024, so high season, it was crowded but we could still find a spot. There are two sides to the beach, swimming area is a bit limited, there’s a pizza restaurant which we didn’t try. There’s shade next to the cliffs towards the afternoon, but I strongly suggest to bring an umbrella. And there’s free parking outside.
Beautiful calm beach without many people especially in the morning. Around 13:00 it started to become busy. The beach is divided in two sections by a big rock. The water is relatively calm and the temperature is good. Close to the beach there is the possibility to park. Also there is a stand selling food and the way to the beach is paved until the sand which is perfect. There are many boats passing by the beach which is enjoyable to look at. Also there are two natural lagoons in the rock on the centre. Two third of the beach is relatively safe for falling rocks and collapsing cliffs.
Beautiful pair of beaches in a small cove. Clear water and fine sand. Lifeguards on duty and a small beach bar. Amazing rock arch in the next bay
This beach goes so hard like no joke one of the calmest and prettiest beaches we went to in faro. Plenty of caves to explore when the tide is low and smooth sand! No cell service in the area. The caves are very cool.

Lovely view, you have to try it, I definitely comming back....
Such a beautiful beach 🤩 golden sands, stunning cliffs, turquoise waters and a cave that leads you to another beach!! There is a restaurant and bar, as well as a snack shop. The only reason I haven't given it 5* is because I have been to A LOT of beaches and want to save my 5* for my absolute favourites.
Absolutely beautiful beach - though tbh all here are - has a little Chapel that's worth a visit, great for some scenic pics. Beach is sand/small shell bits and comfy to walk/lay on. Kayaks etc can be hired ...but really this is a great beach to sunbath, relax or for the kids to play.
This is a great little beach near the Ukino Palmerias Village hotel. On the day we were there the waves were crashing and we discovered if you go out there is a sudden dip so definitely need to be careful with kids. There's a cave that takes you through to another beach, it's really cool to go through. The only reason I rated down is the strange sand. It's a bit like kinetic sand. It's not great for building sandcastles. But we all had a good time so worth a visit.
Beautiful beachside very typical beach for the Algarve coast in Portugal. Sunbeds are 16€ per Person for an afternoon, which is a bit pricey for these kind of sunbeds (very simple).
Worth every step to get to and back to this beach. Would recommend getting there early as parking is not easy. Nice little beach bar and cafe for refreshments.
Nice little spot to visit if you're passing through the area. You can access the beach which has a restaurant but make sure you bring cash as it doesn't accept cards. Views are great and also has a walking path but I was in sliders so didn't give that a go!
Lovely beach. Has a beach bar but a bit pricey. Sand is hot but there is a cool strip near the sea. Lounges and parasols are available for hire as is boats, jetskis, pedloes etc. Little tunnel to the right that goes through to another beach.

This was by far my favourite pottery studio. The work was unique while still being very much local. Incredible value for handmade artwork. We really enjoyed talking to Molly in the beautiful studio and left with a few pieces to remind us of our beautiful experience!
Lovely hand thrown pottery from a family business; each piece is unique. You won’t find these in the tourist shops in the beach resorts. Well worth a visit.
Great ceramics shop with unique pieces and better quality than in similar places. This is the place to find a gift or a nice souvenir to take back home. Higher prices than the average ceramic shop, but you buy a piece of art, not a clay object.
Lovely, unique pottery house. Not your average copy & paste shop. The pieces are modern and tasteful. Yes, it is “expensive “, but everything is handmade and you are taking a bit of Portugal back home. 100% recommend. You can pay by card and they also wrap the pieces super carefully so they are plane-safe.
Beautiful pieces, great vibe, amazing quality! This was the best place we found on our ‘go find ceramics’ road tour of Porches. All that’s missing is a coffee machine and a little bench outside so we could soak up the lovely atmosphere. See you next time
Bought a few pieces of pottery from here years ago and I still use them. Love them. They wash so well in the dishwasher. Going back to Portugal next year for my daughter's wedding so I'm definitely going to buy another piece as a momento of the wedding
Our family stopped in and really enjoyed this little shop. My wife got a beautiful bowl that has been her favorite piece found on our trip so far. My daughter enjoyed Timmy (the sweet dog) the most. A must stop as this gentleman and his daughter are very talented.
Very cute and great quality ceramics. Strongly recommend to visit

A really good pottery store with something for everyone. Fill up your house and kitchen with beautiful pottery or just by an authentic souvenir or gift.
Pottery paradise❤️ It's difficult to make a choice, because everything is so beautiful 😍
Very nice selection. Clean store. Some things were a bit more expensive but everything appeared to be more artistic and well made.
Beautiful ceramics. Lots of variety. Helpfull staff.
Typical algarve pottery store (outside and inside). The collection is larger than in the coast stores, but, even considering its proximity to porches, it is a bit more expensive. Also has textiles and makes custom tiles.
Beautiful ceramics, very friendly and helpful. Will ship for you.
Very nice place to buy tiles, Potters, tahlecloth and so in. The Professor are okay.
Great selection of large and small pottery

A lovely small beach with cliffs around and clear blue water, just amazing to relax. The earlier you arrive the less people will be there. In the afternoon more people are visiting the spot however I would not call the beach crowded. If you arrive by car I recommend not to go down until the end of the road. Park your car about 400 m before you arrive at the beach. The route conditions are okay but there appear big wholes in the street which makes you feel sorry for your car when you hit one ;) So when you arrive at a sign showing you „to the beach“ stop there and continue walking (in case you don’t have a jeep or off road car).
Lovely beach Bit of a hike to get there But it's worth it
A beautiful, sandy cove surrounded by high cliffs. It's a bit of a walk down, approx 500m, but well worth the hassle. No facilities or services nearby so bring what you need (and leave no trace please 🙏)
Super deserted (December 2024) beach with focused, giant waves crashing, making it mostly a scary thing, not suitable for calm swim or even sun. Very small sandy beach area, might be ok on calm day. Road is very washed out though, be careful with a car. Expect 300m walk to the water edge. Trees and rock on both sides, not too much to see. The star of the show is the waves, narrowing into the gap and bashing the rocks. Easy 600m walk along unmarked path (but beaten down) from parking lot at Nssa Senora.
Very nice beach. Beautiful rocks, place to put blanket. But unfortunately difficult to swim, some rocks can prevent. But near you can find another beach for that
Lovely beach with no signal, nudist, quiet
A great little hideaway, until the party boats turn up and ruin the peaceful atmosphere for everyone.
Highly recommended the catamaran tour of the Algarve coast from Albufeira to Benagil!!
