Unfortunately it was closed. According to locals, This place has been shut down forever. There's just a little path on the side that people jog on Sunday mornings. It's a shame it's not open anymore, it used to be really cool. Hopefully, they'll do something with the rest of the space someday. Maybe they could make it into a park or something.

This mountain is not so high (just around 975 masl). You could see a beautiful scenery of Waduk Jatiluhur, Gunung Lembu and Gunung Parang. You can reach the top in just 60 to 90 minutes from the registration post. If you don't want to bother yourself by setting up a tent, you could just hike it up and go back down. You could choose whether you want to witness the powerful sunrise or the beautiful sunset.

This is one of the place to hike for people who want to have a legit semi climbing experience The track was a little bit challenging for us newbies but we still manage to the summit on time before the sunrise (we were a little bit hopeless due to much rest session) There was many decent roping to help hike some difficult places, in rainy season it will be more difficult to hike because the soil will be muddy

Hotel playing with prices. It is a con. First you enter and they tell you that the only room available is the most expensive. Then after strong nego, seeing that you don't want to be fooled, all of a sudden a lower quality room is available. And then another one... And they show you a room supposed to be a super delux, which is dirty, smell cigarets so they add a parfume diffuser to cover the smell and have no sink. So clearly they just want to get as much money from you as possible.

The only one mall in town, this mall near toll access. Not to small but less tenants, old mall and it's look less maintenance from owner. But it's quite iconic since the only the only entertainment place in the city. Local tenants dominate at the first floor second floor not much space open.

Too crowded, access in and out is often jammed, the area is less clean. This place is never empty of visitors, as the mall that near the toll gate, its location is very easy to reach by visitors with various public transportation. All needs are available in this place, but the majority of visitors are looking for clothes or mobile phones. The disadvantages of this place are the incoming and outgoing access for vehicles visitors are often hindered by public transport stopping to locate passengers. The area is less clean and there are broken escavator.

STS or Sadang Terminal Square is a Mall that you can find at Purwakarta. even it's not a big mall, their facilities was very good. There are shopping place, game center, Cinema and etc. so what you wait for? just prepare your money and go to STS! :)

Perhaps this is the only Mall so far in Purwakarta, was not so much tenants there the biggest one is Ramayana Dept. Store and some outlet for mobile phone and accessories. Just recently CVG Cinema open in the mall as well as the DIY store. You may find some restaurant like KFC and some other small one selling local street food. And one Korean Restaurant name Istana Korea there but mostly only Korean expat who comes. The location quiet strategic actually but building maintenance was not done properly and makes the mall looks dull and dirty.

A beautiful mosque with minarets and dome glistened with golden ornaments. The interior is spacious and also full of Islamic geometric ornaments. The toilets and ablution area are adequate and kept clean all the time. Parking bays are plenty on site.

Based on my experiences, this mosque is one of comfort and clean mosque in rest area along my way from Bandung to Jakarta, Masjid Al Mi'raj, Rest Area KM 97 Bandung-Jakarta. Praying area is clean, comfort for praying, also apply Covid 19 Protocol. Ablution area and toilet is clean and no bad smell. The view is nice and the air is fresh. You can take break from your journey for praying here and then you can refueling your cars or get some snack.

I would recommend you to take the left lane at least one kilometer before 97km. The rest area was placed at a corner and a downhill. Made this place quite blind spotted. I think it's nice to have a modern culture museum in purwakarta. After visiting this museum, I learned a lot about Indonesian culture and they did a great job for interior of this place. It's suitable for school study trip and it's free. My suggestion is, probably nice if the local government do a maintenance for some facilities which require applications for interactive learning.

A bit surprise and excited because it's free. Very useful for the school kids. The diorama for Indonesian history, but it's a shame, seems they didn't maintain this place. It's located on the same area as library, so it's a must for school kids! They have parking lot, quite spacious.

Amazing Experience with Parang Via Ferrata I recently went on a via ferrata trip with Parang Via Ferrata, and I can highly recommend the experience. The route was steep, tough, and thrilling—definitely not for the faint of heart—but it always felt safe and well-managed. The service was excellent throughout. The guides were professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt secure while still getting that adrenaline rush. It was scary at times, but never truly dangerous thanks to the quality of the equipment and guidance. If you're looking for a challenging and unforgettable adventure in the mountains, this is it. Quite large area... It's just need more better maintenance... This thing is the main problem always in Indonesia, not only for this place... Always looks great when just open, but start to get dirty and not maintain very well after few months or years... But Highly recommended for place to enjoy time with family...
