Nice place to learn swimming. The air is fresh, the water is cold. Better to visit this place during rainy season to enjoy the water surface and the waterfall. The old lady who owns noodle shop near the pond is very kind. Definitely will come back here again.

Kembang Soka placed between Taman Sungai Mudal and Kedung Pedut, but it not as big as Taman Sungai Mudal or Kedung Pedut, you will find peace and serenity in here. It has a shortest track than Kedung Pedut, good for family who bring kids and old people, and there also kids pool, mushalla, and neat bathroom. But if the one who seek for adventure and long track, I suggest you to visit Kedung Pedut rather than Kembang Soka

The place is clean, and the water sooo clear...... You can see the bottom of the waterfall and there is a small pond with a swing in the middle of it. The entrance fee is 11K/person and parking fer for a car is 5K. They also provide wi-fi.

Cold waterfall with natural swimming pool. 30km away from main jogja city. Park your car or bike and then walk down for 15-20 minutes. They already made stairs on way to pool. (Need some cleaning of pool)

A cute waterfall about 1.5hrs out of Yogyakarta. The water was so cool and refreshing on a hot humid day. I sat in the top pool under the waterfall which was nice and not crowded. The water is so blue and makes great for photos or just relaxing while listening to the water. It’s a steep walk back uphill to the car. You’ll need a car and driver to get here. The drive is nice through the forest and small villages.

Amazing turchese water and few different natura pool where to swim. Walk there is easy, probably around 10 minutes to reach the pools. We loved this place 🙏🏼

I got lucky because I came here on weekdays so the place was not crowded. You have to walk pretty far to reach the waterfall and the road was kinda steep you need to be careful. But the walks are all worth it beautiful pond the water is clear and a bit chilly. You can rent life vest for 10k it have 2 pond one is 4m deep and other is 1,5m deep. Very nice experience

Don't come on the weekends. There is way too much people in every pound and the areas for photos have lineup. 😂 Water is crystal clear and greenish blue. Would have been terrific during the weekdays to come here for a swim. Quite far from Yogyakarta center though 90 minutes drive. Big ticket to get in but very good price and have Wi-Fi available for free at the top. They have several shops along the way that have food, drinks and souvenirs.

Enjoying fresh water from an medium waterfall. The road to this place is quite challenging. Make sure your driver here is quite experience. And your vehicle in healthy condition and not overloaded. The scenery, the ambience is so natural. From the parking area to the waterfall, we have to walk for about 10minutes, not too far. The entrance fee is 10000/pax.

First time visit this place and didn't have time to go below where the pool was, the access road was a lot inclining and narrow too, sometimes the truck is passing through this road too and if you use a car to go here just be patience. Would come here again to bath in waterfall.

Air Terjun Kedung Pedut is an area with lots of waterfalls. Its a popular place for the local youth to go swimming, which can be done in several ponds. Take a ride with the Flying Fox. Because of these activities this place has lost some of its natural aspects, but if you like swimming and playing in the refreshing pools this is the place to be. You can take a walk around the pools as well, via many stairs and wooden bridges. All well maintained. Entrance Rp. 10.000 for locals, non-locals pay more. Parking for motor Rp. 3.000. Trip from Yogyakarta some 35 km, located in the beautiful Kulon Progo Recency. Toilets and warungs available.

Serene and peaceful if you want to get away from the bustling Jogja town center. Getting here would required one to drive through some narrow roads and if you are not good at traveling in a windy road, this is not for you. This plane is about 20 mins away from the Kalibiru which one can see the cloud, the jogja international airport, the padi fields and the mountains range in the near vicinity.

This place has a nice view and recommended for camping with family or friends. We can see the sunrise but unfortunately can't see the sunset. There are food sellers there, so no need to worry if we're hungry. There are clean toilets, parking is also neatly organized.

actually, the camping ground is on the "taman bambu runcing". Nice camping place with friends. There is no limitations for how you should place your tents, So I recommend you to came in 3 pm. This place has great view and the most important is clean. But I do have complain about how the tap water color is kinda white😂. But, I guess it is hygiene enough so never mind. You can also fishing in here. Very recommended

Sermo is a dam with a scenic view, holding approximately 25 million cubic meters at the normal water level. The dam was built at the Rancah River, a tributary of the Progo river system. This reservoir serves 3,000 hectares farming land and the remaining outflow runs into the Bawang River. The dam was constructed in the Kulonprogo Regency, starting in the year 1994, completed and inaugurated on 20 November 1996 by the Indonesian Republic President, Soeharto. Currently the dam is managed by a specific dam management unit under the Ministry of Public Works and Housings. Local tourism flourishes within the dam’s greenbelt.

Good view. Poor service. Too slow. Really disorganized. Standard price. The recommended dishes here: fried tofu, sayur asam, and grilled chicken. Others are really below standard.

Located in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, it's a medium-sized reservoir. A beautiful view on the water and the green surrounding mountains. There is a large parking lot with gazebos, some food shops and motor boats for a trip around. A good restaurant named Top View not far from the parking lot offers delicious Javanese and popular foods with a cozy atmosphere, a lodging, a clean toilet and a musholla. The place is dark and desolate at night. Recommended attractions nearby include Pule Payung view resort and Kopi Pari cafe.

The West Laguna is pretty great even tho it is required for you to paid for the boat, but the beach is underwhelming because there is no a lot of food court

Glagah beach is very wonderful. It has nice view of its wave breaker blocks. It has many food and souvenir stalls. Now it's near the new International Yogyakarta Airport. ☀️

the location is very close to the yogyakarta international airport (Kulon Progo). along the road from the entrance there are many souvenir shops and seafood dishes (fried fish, fried prawns, fried undur², etc.) it's better to come on weekdays to avoid crowds, and get photos with a good view 😉 for activities you can rent a boat, play on the beach, or enjoy the sea view while drinking coffee or drinking coconut ice 🥥🌴

Lovely as always. This’s not typical tourist beaches. Well yeah there’r some tourist kinda spots in the main Pantai Glagah, known as Pemecah ombak. Usually crowded at weekends for sure. I suggest you to go a bit more into the western area. Voila! You’ll find peaceful beach with some local fishermen. The sunset is absolutely mesmerizing!

A lengthy beach, with sound waves, but unfortunately dirty and unpleasant smell. There are a lot small cafés and food stalls.

One of the best beaches around this area. It has breakwaters. It also has swimming pools for children, souvenir shops, and a lake in which you can take a "perahu bebek" ride. There are many food courts that have seafood dishes.

This is my grandma place, every December when I visit my grandma I always come here by bike and relax on the edge of the rice fields 🍃♥️

If u enjoy padi field photography then come here noting much to see here except rent an electric bicycle to tour the fields would have been more better if they have organised tours to teach kids about padi field cultivation or a leg massage in this area as the view is beautiful

[Geblek Menoreh] I've been to many places in Yogyakarta but this place has always been my favourite place. Traditional dishes and drinks combined with magnificent view with a very affordable price is irreplaceable! For you, both a lover of family person. I recommend you to rent a bicycle or scooter to spend sunset with your beloved one! Definitely a good place to see the sun slowly settling down!

The food itself are pretty average. Not that good but not bad either. What seals the deals are the atmosphere instead! The view is magnificent, the rice paddy field are sprawned across the mountain range, you can also rent EV bike, electronic scooter, ATV, or even regular bike on hourly basis. What a fun experience. I had a blast here. Get here either in the early morning or late afternoon cuz it got sweltering hot in the area at midday. Put on your sunscreen, hat and sunglasses!

This place is best for its view. The humble cafe is perfect to slurp some drinks and eat simple meals, but nothing special in that department. You can rent bikes and use it to explore the places and its surrounding. Amazing rice paddies view and Menoreh hills, if you're lucky you can even see Merapi mountain. Come early to enjoy the place to yourself.

Place with best view without special food (except geblek the traditional one), good place for talk with couple, group, or family. You can bring kids here because the air still clean and has view of Menoreh hills

Two months ago I went to geblek pari. Geblek pari is located in Pronosutan, Kulon progo. The journey to geblek pari is very far from the city. Geblek pari is an authentic traditional eating place starting from the place and the food. The food here is very good, the menu has heavy meals, drinks, and market snacks such as sayur lodeh,klepon, wedang jahe, etc. The price is not expensive but not cheap either. The food is very good and the view is very beautiful there are vast rice fields and hills. There are also scooter rentals to get around in the rice field area and we can also buy traditional toys, and make batik. I gave a five rating because this place is suitable for enjoying the natural beauty in Yogyakarta, the place is clean, comfortable, and authentic.

Food is generally good. The highlight of this place is absolutely the vibes. You can ride scooter to go around the fields, and you can also just sit and look at the fields in the middle of the day since the place is so serene and relaxing.

We came during the weekday. There are few dishes but not too many variety. Taste wise, okay - not too tasty. We visited because of the activity. Just at the outside, there is a place where you can hire bicycle and ATV. We hired ATV and we loved it

Its such a joyfull experience to visit this place. Great view that hard to find in Jakarta. The place is not hard to find, they have wonderfull staff, the only problem if you visit this place in peak season, is they have only limited parking area. They have jeep tour, ATV & electric scooter rent. The restaurant served traditional food, but for the taste, its just standard.

But probably they will need some kind of improvement. So this forum group discussion uses to need a microphone. As another agend was held here right behind the room we used, and they used another microphone... it's getting so noise each other. Probably that's the only thing that needs to be improved

Waitress not fully educated to serve, quite often miss your order if u want some details. The most annoying one they play u tube at big screen TV (smart TV) at day time with some sexual sceen and vulgar word on that song saying vagi**n* on day time when my son watching. Enough no more !!

Good place with with Joglo/Pendhopo style. You have both indoor and outdoor options. The food tastes good and the price is affordable. Unfortunately it has no options for vegetarian/vegan.

I had a wonderful experience at Omah Cantrik! The place offers excellent facilities that are both clean and comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Nice place with traditional javanese ambiance. The owner is also the owner of raminten and hamzah batik. I tried mi lethek and kwetiau jawa, taste good, quite big portion. Various traditional drinks. They also sell old fashioned (jadul) snacks.

They're famous for the VW ride. It was a nice ride and beautiful scenery they gave to us, also they'll give you a package for the ride (ride+food). But sadly i will not come back again because the food was contaminated a lot. like literally a lot. in our food (we got soto batok, and we have 12 bowls of it) in almost of each bowls there's lot of FLY EGGS. yes, FLY EGGS. it was disgusting, we brought a baby at that time it will be dangerous if i haven't noticed it, then i told my family not to eat it again. You guys should be keep an eye to the hygiene system in the kitchen as well as the prasmanan.

Good experience with coffee, scenery, and the experience. Please come before sunset hours, become it will so crowded. Even though parking space is big enough. There is a kids park with admission. You can enjoy live music there. Also you can take a tour with old style car modifications (but I don’t know how to take the tour)

The food is good, a bit above than average. Fried banana is recommended. Geblek is good. Some others are a bit plain for my personal taste. The atmosphere, however, is a big great plus point to visit this place. I consider this is one among the largest in this area which can cater 100+ visitors easily. Parking space also huge up to the back yard. Recommended during sunrise and sunset

The best time to visit here is the evening, before the sunset.... Cozy atmosphere, but average foods.... They have a nice playground, so it's a plus for a family who bring their children....

For me, this place has a better view than other nearby restaurants or cafes since the scenery is directly straight to the mountain of Kaligesing. makes the vibes so refreshing. As for the food, it's ordinary but quite good taste. The price is very affordable with that kind of view and memorable ambiance, love! Recommended menus: kunir asem, french fries, pisang goreng, ayam goreng.

This the best out door restaurant so far we've visit. Yes it's still new. But the location, the site, taste of food, services and the price. Nowadays so many this kind of restaurant grew up in the west of Yogyakarta special province, not dominant again at the north side. This is recommended.
