Pok Tunggal Beach has a beautiful and clean environment, the sea water is still clear, thick white sand is free of rubbish. This beach overlooks the Indonesian ocean with fairly high waves and is surrounded by beautiful coral hills. The beach location can be reached in about 2 hours from the city of Jogjakarta through hilly and coral views.

It was a challenge to get in this place, quite remote spot and you'll lose signal automatically. But totally worth it, beautiful scenery and white sands. Just be careful with the waves, kinda wild. It really looks like Melasti beach in Bali.

Beautiful sunset! The path is pretty hard because of the rocks but still nice. It's not the type of beach you will chill all day long, though. Anyway, when we came there, the Duras tree was no longer there, meanwhile this beach was famous because of it.

Bit speechless about this place, because this beach have awesome landscape view. I came at 5am and still dark.. Hoping I can shoot best light in the morning.. 😁, but nature has different way hahaha so cloudy there. I came to one of traditional coffee shop, after order I saw a man directly approach to our coffee shop from the beach bring an octopus and some fish. The owner of coffee shop says.. Hai.. What would you like to order from those fresh fish.. Hahaha to early for me for heavy breakfast .. I asking her there is other sight from the beach? She said : you have to move up to that hill.. Wewwwwww 🤦‍♂ hahaha closed enough but going up is.... 🤣🤣 Then we going up and taking lots of picture.. Till the cloud more dark. So this place is so quite place, not to crowded, average clean.. Access to this beach is hard, not possible for bus/trucks. Therefore, this beach is still not to crowded. And still consider as hidden gem. Sands are white but not too clean.

Great camping place! There are many stalls around the beach, so if you run out of supplies, you can buy there. There are also toilets there. Entrance ticket 10k per person and retribution fee 10k per tent. You can also pay a photografer 3k / photos for capturing your moment! The distance between the parking area to the beach is very close, so you don't need to be afraid of being tired 😁. Go on weekdays if you want to find some quietness!

Was nice here. Narrow and clean beach. You also can see the seaweed in the side of beach, you also can pick up some of them. Very beautiful place, polite and friendly people and also very affordable too, the only downside is the lack of signal reception with ALL providers and a relatively shallow place to swim. Entry ticket per person is 5k from the gate, 50k for snorkeling & swimming bundled with Underwater photograph & 35k for the bridge crossing. Additional fees are 4k for taking a shower, 2k for changing, 5k for ojek ride to the beach (you can walk for free, it's around 5-10 mins). Food is relatively cheap, 150k for a portion of 5 people. Recommended to find time off-season to snorkel and enjoy the beach, remember to bring a wetsuit along with GLOVES, the corals are sharp, and the sea is shallow, YOU WILL GET CUTS IF YOU SWIM WITH NORMAL CLOTHES.

The place was cool! It has many activities to offer, even for a snorkeling. You better coordinate with the admin when is the best time to snorkeling. Fee for activities also wasnt very expensive. The beach itself is still clean. Oh, use ojeg to go inside the beach. Its quite a walk to go there.

One of the best beach in Gunungkidul. The access is limited, you can not bring your car here. You can take a 800 m - 1 km walk from the parking area to the beach, or you can ride your motorbike / take ojek motor (Rp 5000 per person). It's a good place for starter snorkeling. The area depth is quite low, so no worries of getting drowned. One thing that must be improved is signal reception. No provider is available in there.

One of great beach in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. The road here is rather in good condition, yet pretty far from Jogja City, for like 2hrs by vehicle. Parking lot is spacious, and the beach is located below hill, so there's stairs toward the beach. So many street vendors, so you no need worry if you're hungry. The beach is still pristine. White sands, and the water color is beautiful. There's also a laguna, here, but you still need walk along the beach a bit far. You can swim here but be careful since the sea actually part of Indian Ocean and the wave and wind sometime so harsh.

the beach is lower than the parking lot so we have to go down the stairs. Not too far but rather steep. if you are tired, motorcycle taxis are available for 5,000 rupiah. Visitors are not allowed to swim because there are more rocks and big waves. always use sunblock because the sun is very strong.

This is an absolutely stunning beach. The sunset is right on the water. There's swimming and surfing, and the food there is very cheap. I stayed in a cottage only 50 meters from the beach, and at night I had the beach all to myself. The local people there are so friendly. What an amazing experience. I will be back soon.

I went to Heha sky view, which is in JL.Dlingo, Kab Gunung Kidul. I went with my family to eat. The place is very nice, and there are many aesthetic photo spots. And if you come in the afternoon until evening, you can see the sunset and also the city lights from the sky view. But if you come in the afternoon or evening, don't forget to bring a jacket or wear long clothes because the wind is strong and the air is cold. There are many food stalls, and so far, the food is all delicious. This place is recommended for those who want to see the sunset, city lights, or want to take photos and also eat.

Our family decided to visit the HeHa Sky View during the last day of visit in Jogja. It offers amazing views of Jogja, great entertainment, delicious snacks and Kopi Tubruk Susu. It would be great to visit HeHa again someday.

Coming here is a bit of challenges, narrow road, slippery path, yet the scenery here worth all the sweats. I got wrong advertise on IG which said that this is a good spot to view sunrise, but in the contrary, locals said it is well known for it's beautiful sunset. We come very early in the morning around 4AM, nevertheless we still amaze with the breathtaking views. Note: since it's actually a cliff please watch your step carefully.

The road access was smooth but too narrow. We have to walk for 500m to reach the main place. This beach is more like a cliff, there is no sand. But the view was amazingly great, especially when you come at sunset.

The scenery is very good, neatly arranged and similar to the Teletubbies hill. Very suitable for camping. Highly recommended for those who like to see the vastness of the sea.

i love the view, the waves, the sound of the waves, the sunset, the cliffs, and the trips to this place. the best time to enjoy all of these is 4-5 pm. when sun went down, it was quite dark.

Actually it's not really a beach. It's a cliff with ocean view. Local people usually went there for fishing. It's a bit secluded with small road, only fits for one car and the road bit rough. The parking lots not many for cars but adequate for motorcycles. The parking fee is about 5000 IDR for a car and 2000 IDR for a motorcycle. There are only 2 toilets managed by local resident who also sell simple drinks and snacks.

The waterfall does not exist anylonger, we drove all the way from Jogia for nothing, fortunately close by there are other sites of interest but I could not believe that the waterfall was erased to make a brand new road. 😭😶

Amazing hike! Heavy because of the heat, although doable for fit people. You can buy water in the little shop near the entrance! The entrance fee is 30k for foreigners. The path is very well maintained with signs, ladders with are bolted to the rocks, paths. Just be careful and you'll manage it and don't go up when it's raining or about to rain. Also super friendly people working there who explained us everything. There are multiple viewpoints and rest stops on the way to the top so even a half climb is worth it. Take 1,5h to reach the top (gunung Api) and 300m elevation. You come back down a completely different path, around 30min. So one way up and one way down because there are some narrow passages. We took a grab here (+- 1 hour) from yogya and took a different grab back. It can be tricky to find a grab back but we managed to get one within 15min. All in all, a really well spent afternoon.

Wonderful mountain and view, especially its sunset. The track is moderate with high cliff on the left and right. There are two narrow tracks that is dark although at midday. At the top, we can see Merapi and Merbabu mountains if the weather is clear. Also, we can find some hand-made wooden tracks.

Great place for a light walk and hike! Located near Yogyakarta city, easy to park and pay for entrance on the spot, and you're free to hike on your own pace! The hiking path is moderately steep, some parts are consisting of narrow path between giant rock walls and metal stairs, providing a fun challenge, even for kids and parents. The summit area is an open space with a great view! There are also several open spots to enjoy the view, especially when you are not planning to go all the way to the top.

They put signs, so it's easy to climb up to the mountain. I got the 4G signals at the peak (telkomsel) 😀.

Be sure to be in good fitness for the hike up, and careful not to wear any loose fitting hats as the winds blow strong at the top. And the company of monkeys patroling the top are quite aggressive, so be wary of that.Otherwise, great view and cool winds.

The path at Jomblang is a bit burdensome. You have to get abseiled 40m. You might have to wait a while until you are on. In the cave you walk 200m through the mud (no worries you get rubber boots) , but the view is absolutely worth it.

As beautiful as the pictures suggest! The tour is actually quite organized and on a 1st come 1st serve basis. 1 group consists of approx 10 people to abseil down 60m to the cave and take pictures. The ground is very muddy and rocky; may not be suitable for very young children.

Tickets need to be reserved in advance - can be done through Whatsapp. The experience was great and the tourguides were superb at taking pics at the main attraction. We got a lunch after and its possible to buy professional photos from a booth.

The group is so service oriented. It was a very muddy trek and we changed our shoes to boots just like everyone else. You go down a cliff but don't actually repel down. Then you trek through a cave where your boots are often stuck in the mud. Suggest bringing a head lamp and it's in the middle of central java and there's really no cool down in the cave. The staff carried our four year old when he kept getting stuck in the mud. Definitely don't bring clothes you want to keep clean! Afterwards we were served a basic lunch with aqua, ayam goreng and rice. Fun experience

Oh my God😍 it was a wonderful trip. I highly recommend this cave. So beautiful masterpiece of God. And the way through the cave to reach that hole was incredible.

Bring sandals. Headlamp is a good idea to keep your hands free. Cave is muddy and slippery. The Jomblang Cave Crew is great and helpful. I had an excellent time and was pleasantly surprised!

It's unreal, unworldly, amazing, beautiful, there are not enough adjectives to describe how fantastic this place is. It's a long and a half hour drive to the caves and the last couple are on bumpy dirt tracks, you then change you shoes for wellington (plastic) boots and walk down to the cave entrance,where you are harnessed up and sent 2 at a time down a 60 metre drop into the cave. Then it's's a tricky walk in the dark to what must be the most amazing sight I have ever seen in my life. It's a memory you will keep forever

I visited Taman Sari Tourist Village and found it really interesting to walk around. The old bathing pools and underground passages give you a glimpse of the history and culture of Yogyakarta. The surrounding village is also fun to explore with small shops and local people selling crafts. It is not a huge site but it is unique and worth a visit if you are already near the palace.

We visited Taman Sari Royal Garden because we were looking for a place that was open that day — it was my second to the last day in Yogyakarta, and unfortunately, the palace itself was closed. I’m glad we ended up here though, because it turned out to be a really unique and memorable experience. It wasn’t too crowded when we went — there were a mix of locals and foreigners, and the atmosphere felt calm and pleasant. The sun was very hot outside, but once you go inside the chambers and passageways of the garden, it becomes surprisingly cool. Each section feels like a hidden corner full of history and charm. What stood out to me most were the many small pathways and exits all around the garden. There seems to be only one main entrance, but several exits lead into nearby residential areas or small alleys that connect to local streets. It really gives you a sense of how this place once functioned as a living, breathing royal space — private, mysterious, and full of life. Even though the structures are old, you can still imagine how stunning it must have been at its peak — with the pools, gardens, and chambers in their full glory. It’s one of those places that lets you step back in time and feel part of Yogyakarta’s royal history. A truly cool and fascinating place to explore — peaceful, historical, and worth the visit.

I have no regrets about visiting this historical site, even with the crazy heat in Jogja that day. It definitely still needs ongoing maintenance and preservation. Taman Sari was the Sultan's / King’s former water castle/bathhouse, I can only imagine how grand and cool this place was back then. Entrance is 25K.

I visited Taman Sari today and the place itself is truly magnificent, beautiful architecture with a long, fascinating history behind it. Unfortunately, my experience with the local guide was disappointing. He charged me 90k IDR (and I gave him 100k instead ) for a tour that felt incomplete. Instead of exploring all areas, he only took me around the outside, rushed through everything (finished the tour in 30 minutes), and explained so quickly that I couldn’t really understand much. Sadly, it made my first visit here feel less enjoyable than I expected.

A historical place with guides for hire. They don't charge an amount of fee, you get to determine it. Along the tour, I couldn't help but imagine how things were back in those days. We even went to the ruins of the castle hidden among the villagers' houses.

It's a Bali wannabe place, with temple and other statues in place. Really crowded with tourist wearing rented Balinese traditional costume during the visit. The paid toilet is well maintained and costly since it is privately owned by the warung owner. It is suggested to come during dry season since the location is quite a distance from Yogyakarta and the road is quite tricky. Though it provides beautiful view along the way.

The beaches are beautiful, but be mindful that there is a huge crowd of tourists in big buses, cars, and the road is in traffic, the parking lot is so crowded, everything moves slowly. And by the beach, thousands of people. They make the temple and rent the clothes for tourists to take pictures, that makes the place even more chaotic. If you want to find a quiet and serene place to see the nature, this is not a good idea to visit at weekend.

it's a beautiful beach in Yogyakarta (42 kilometers from the city). in other side, I lost my signal over there. you need a transportation to go there because there's no public transportation since the place is so far.

Two beaches in one. Ngobaran is a sacred place for the local Hindu communities. Nguyahan is the best for sunsets.

I usually come here before the other beach nearby called Ngrenehan. This place has architectural influence from the Hinduism. The view to the beach from the cliff is great. Now they have artificial boat also there for taking photo direction to the beach view. I took these photos at 5 am, so it might look dark. 😁

Love this beach! Not so crowded! So many amazing spot views! Located about an hour from the city center. Pretty easy to follow the google maps. Kinda Bali vibes but in Yogyakarta! Definitely will come back! There’s one “Pura” which already build about 25 years ago and still be used to pray. There’s not so many options for having lunch. Make sure you bring your meals box or simple move to another beaches nearby!

For me the price was a bit higher than the average price in Jogja. But very understandable because we also paid for the view hahaha. I love the wedang uwuh. Nasi goreng also yummy, but the portion too big for me. The mendoan I like it so much. Don't forget to capture the moment and take many photos as you like.

Luar biasa. I give 6 stars out of 5! High class looking restaurant with tasty foods. We only ordered nasi goreng but it tasted nice. I think other food would taste even better. We enjoy the surroundings and view. Would love to celebrate my meaningful event here, maybe next time. We're from Malaysia and we're greatful to be there.

We stopped here on the way to the beach—this was our second visit. The service was good, and the food was nice as well.

It's located in Wonosari, Yogyakarta. This restaurant has a Javanese feel, as does its menu. The place is quite attractive, clean, and spacious. There are several buildings and rooms. There's a joglo house adjacent to an open garden. We were a reunion group of about 30 people, so this was the perfect location. There's a building perfect for our reunion. There's a prayer room on the second floor, with a well-maintained and clean restroom downstairs. We ordered Ayam Ingkung Areh, which was delicious and savory. Then there was Gudeg Daun Pepaya, which was also delicious and slightly sweet. Sayur Ndeso, which is similar to lodeh vegetables with Tempe, and Lombok Ijo, was a perfect pairing with Ayam Ingkung. For drinks, we ordered Sweetened Condensed Tea. Please enjoy the photos.

Specialist in Javanese cuisine,the restaurant is located next to Wonosari-Jogjakarta. The foods are good,with some uniques menu such as ingkung chicken,kind of steamed chicken. Personally I think the chicken needs to be more tender and the taste is a little bit ‘plain’. But overall it was interesting experience to try unique culinary of gunung kidul area

worthed place to eat traditional food especially gunung kidul dishes. their favourite/specialty dishes are ayam ingkung (steamed chicken with coconut curry paste) and wader lombok ijo (baby fish cooked by green chilli). they also have gudeg manggar (gudeg from coconut flower) and brown rice. great taste with great environment of restaurants.

The speciality of this place is, the java cuisine. A worth experience. A great and fresh taste. Total of rp200k++ equal to RM60++ for whole 6 plates of rice and the dishes. Very worth a try. Big portion of chicken dishes.

Went there to break fasting with fellow friends. We ordered AUCE for IDR75K/pax. Food is good, but the choice is limited. We ran out of the fist fillet, but it took quite some time to be refilled. It's just 10 minutes after iftar and most of the food is gone. The flies were annoying tho. Eventhough the place is clean and nice, and the food is good enough, I cannot say it was a satisfying experience.

Located in a busy road, walking distance to Hotel 69 & Santika Wonosari. Serve local food and a lil bit western food like spaghetti. Distance between tables quite close, and too much tower, watch your steps 😆! Taste good with fair portion. There are options of fried rice to choose (the way of cook & taste).

Live lobster. Very fresh. Reasonably priced. Preferred the sweet sour cook lobster compared to the garlic sauce lobster. Overall satisfying. Only setback of this place are the flies. Too many of them hovering around you and if not too careful, they may land on the food.

Our driver brought us here for lunch which is just beside the place to take jeep to Timang Beach. Paid 650k for a set of 3 lobsters cooked in 2 styles, a plate of calamari and some side dishes with rice. Lobster tasted good and overall meal was alright.

After a fantastic time at the Gondolla ride, we stopped for lunch here. As reservations were made in advance, the food were ready when we got there. The signature dish here is the lobster. The lobsters were cooked beautifully and taste perfect. All other dishes taste just as great, too. However, the coconut drinks that we had were of old coconut and not very sweet. Other than that, we had a wonderful and fulfilling lunch here. As many other patrons did, we left a mark by writing on the walls, too.

Nice spot for lunch after trekking or trail run in the area of ancient volcano. The ambiance is nice with rice fields on the surrounding. Great food variety in buffet style with traditional menus. The coffee is just ok not so special but the traditional dessert is another good option here.

Places to eat that must be visited when visiting the yogjakarta area. It is located not far from the ecotourism object in Nglanggeran village. Apart from serving food with a typical Yogyakarta taste, this place is also very beautiful because you can see views of ancient volcanic mountains.

Located in the foot hill of Nglanggeran, the iconic ancient volcano in Yogyakarta. It takes about 30-40 minutes from the city. Beautiful scenery, fresh air, and affordable tasty food. They have so many variants of food.

Firstly, it was so hard to find out about this place. It was because of the new road next to this place. I was so impressed at the time. The design and architecture are so unique, look like a piece of old Javanese traditional house. We can say Joglo. A good landscape, as well as warm coffee, will certainly rocket your happiness. The view of the ancient mount of nglanggeran adds a wonderful background. This restaurant is equipped by toilet, mushola, and a parking lot. What a marvelous trip.

Food was actually pretty terrible for the exorbitant price. I ordered Spaghetti Aglio Olio and it came out sloppy. My sister ordered Chicken Fried Rice and it was a bit better in presentation than my order at least. The iced tea is pretty expe, 25K/cup for a tea bag quality cup of tea They don't even charge that much for sweet ice tea in pricy cafes in BALI 😂 The cafe isn't as well maintained as it seems. Those travel influencers glorifed it a lil too much so lower your expectation. The views are pretty but I wonder if it's worth the hefty price with mediocre food in return? The deal breaker, however, isn't all the things I mentioned above. It's actually some of the staffs' behavior. I overheard them talking about their customers behind their back in javanese thinking they wouldn't understand? I was about to leave and wondered if they were talking about me because some of their 'descriptions' matched our circumstances HAHAH😬 Not a great look for the business.

They don't provide a prayer place. While the prayer room on the side can't be used. So you have to walk quite far to find a public prayer place. The food isn't that wow, just ordinary. It only supports the view, the views like the bay are really good

First of all, the food honestly was so-so. For local price, it was higher than average but still way cheaper than Jakarta and Bali for similar concept cafe. Actually I felt a bit disappointed. A day before, I’ve tried to reach them for a reservation through WhatsApp and Instagram, and they told me that no reservation needed. So I thought first come first serve. But when I arrived and chose an empty best-view seat, the staff said it was booked. I asked to give that seat for me since I already tried to book but they were the ones told me to come. So I actually had the right to choose before the one who booked. But they insisted I couldnt take that seat even tho they were the one who told me no reservation needed. But I didnt want to ruin my mood so I sat wherever they gave me. After one hour, that good seat still empty. So I asked them once again if I could take that seat, and they said the one who booked were already on their way. God! I was rejected thrice now LOL The person who booked finally came when we already finished our meals and be ready to pay 😂 If only they could have much better of solving problems and management including time, seats, and treat customer better, like, they could ask the person how long it would take them to arrive. So they could tell me like “you may take this seat but only for two hours from now, is that okay for u?” it would be much better 😊 but I still want to recommend this place if you come to Slili Beach. Oh, they only have limited seats so make sure you successfully make a reservation. Do not repeat my mistake 😂 If they tell you to come without reservation, please keep insisting to make one 😂 so you can get the middle-front-row seats.

Cafe de Slili is located by the Slili Beach in the Gunung Kidul area. It is essentially a beachside cafe you often see in Seminyak, nestled in West Java. When I tried contacting the staff, they suggested that we book a table by putting down a payment of IDR 300,000 beforehand to avoid not getting a table and other difficulties on the day. This is fair, in my opinion, as it counts towards your bill, but the staff member took quite a while to reply to me after I did my payment, so I was clearly a bit anxious about whether my reservation has been confirmed. Nevertheless, we decided to go for it and leave the argument until later on. After driving for 2-3 hours from the city, my family and I arrived at the cafe. I expected an ‘instagrammable’ cafe with mediocre food selections and taste, but I was actually blown away! Most of the food was really good, but I personally recommend the Pepperoni Pizza and the Tempe Mendoan. For the drinks I absolutely recommend the Cocosnucifera (espresso + coconut milk) and the Frosted Coconut Citrus. Both are super refreshing to have in the sun! 🌞 Note: Cafe de Slili is a bit on the pricier side, so do keep this in mind. + pro tip: request to be seated inside the hut on the corner table to get access to magnificent views as pictured.

The Place: Large area, nice open surrounding, plenty of tables. They had some renovation going on while I was there. Looks like it's recently built/renovated. The Food: Ayam Penyet is nice, price is reasonable, Cumi goreng is a little soggy. Sambal is pretty good. Rice and vegetables self service, main dishes are made to order. The service: Staff is polite enough. Well-informed on the menu when we asked questions.

Village food, nice

When we first arrived at this place we thought it was closed. We had to wait quite a while for the food we ordered if we didn't make a reservation in advance, this place is not suitable for us who are in a hurry. The food is quite good, take your own rice. The place is comfortable and clean. The parking area is very spacious. Located near the mosque for those of you who want to pray.

I came here in a big group, and I think they arent ready to serve big groups as the orders were messed up and I almost got no food (luckily my friend ordered extra). Staffs weren't very pleasant/helpful with the situation either. Either way the food is quite decent, but they need to step up their service like A LOT. Worth a try when you're so happy that nothing could ruin your mood. A no go when you're on your pms :)

This place is the best, would give 10 star if possible, the food was cheap yet tasty, and you could refill the rice (there is two types of rice, white rice and red rice). Also there is papaya leaf gudeg, lodeh, and sambal, all free! 10/10 would recommend

Oh I love it here. I love that the red rice is well-made, neither too chewy or too stiffs. It's perfect. The meal options were also abundant. Starting from the general food such as fried chicken, beef jerky, and veggies, while also the unique one, often only found around here, such as fried beetle, fried pupa (yes, caterpillar's pupa), and fried locust. The seating are immensely huge, that it could held many people. I would recommend this place if your bring your big family on a trip or you just being starved on your trip that you need to fulfill your hunger. Oh, also, it's pretty much budget friendly, so don't worry to eat enough (:

A culinary destination on wonosari, they have nice place with spacious and a lot of table, spacious parking space can accommodate many cars. Located on the side of main street, you can't miss this place. For the meal, it is delicious, meat is very tender, their specialty is "sayur lombok ijo" a wonosari specialty. It is very rich and umami, perfected with sambal terasi. There is a big downside, in my opinion they are a little bit overpriced. They used to be serve the dish at lower price, but since they gained a fame, they increase the price but without increase in the dish taste. So they have an excellent taste, but given with the high price, it is just an ok meal.

A good javanese style eatery, served padang-style where you pay what you take from the served dishes. They serve red-rice variant along with dishes like fried offal, fried cocoon and papaya-leaves simmered in coconut milk. A must visit when in town. Only open from morning to late noon.

I love how they provided traditional cuisine of Gunung Kidul district. They gave us all of type of food there. We were familiar with fried chicken, meat, and fried crispy fish. By the way, We should order beverages separately. They gave us the menu, they would write down all of the drink that we want. I went there with my friends and surprised that we found the stir-fry of teak tree caterpillar as one of the dish. Eat teak tree caterpillar was a fear factors challenge, but you know what, it was so delicious.

A bit pricey if we compare to other local restaurants but it's already famous in internet. Mr president and Mr governor of Jogja also has been visited this place.

This place offered you Wonosari's traditional food, called "enthung" and the special menu were "sego abang sayur lombok ijo". Those were nice and the price was little bit high.

It's a rest area in between of Yogyakarta city and Gunungkidul area. We went there to rest for a while before going back to Yogyakarta city. We ordered coffee and snacks. The prices are reasonable and the foods also taste good. For the coffee milk, they use condensed milk instead of fresh milk. The service is good, the staff will gladly help to explain how to order. Very recommended for those who need to rest before continuing their journey to Gunungkidul beach or Yogya city.

Kopi Panggang is located on a hillside, 364 meter above sea level-so it's nice and cool in early mornings. For breakfast the traditional Javanese foods are served buffet style. There are many varieties of vegetable, egg, fish and chicken dishes to pick from. Traditional coffee and wedang (herbal) drink mix and tea are available all day long. One of the most important facility for travellers is the large and clean Al-Ikhlas mosque at the street level.

Nice view and delicious food. Some of the menus such as Lodeh, Brongkos, Garangasem and many more traditional food. Feel like back to village or grandma's house.

Recommended place for your bucket list, when visiting Yogyakarata. Located on one of peak in Panggang, strategic location for rest or lunch time. Because this building place in the side of road alternative when you go to Gunung kidul from Bantul. For food you can choose what do you want to eat with buffet, mostly traditional food. Worth it for portion and taste. Good ambience also . . .

Delicious and cheap. Simple menu from the past that you may call 'Jangan nDeso', however it's very nice to memorize our past. The coffee surprisingly good. And the distinguish thing is that Kopi Panggang located on the peak of the hill. Give you the nice view. You can also by souvenir here.

Convenient with direct train (KA BIAS) to city. Comfortable, clean with Javanese ambiance. Some find food/shops pricey, terminal could be more modern.

It is small but convenient airport near solo, central java. The terminal is clean, not too crowded, and easy to navigate. Check-in, security and boarding are usually smooth. Few shops and outlets are also there, thought options are limited compared to bigger airports. Transportation to solo and nearby cities is straightforward with taxis and buses. A calm and efficient airport for domestic travel.

Small but decent and clean airport managed by Happy People. Staffs are very helpful. Food is also affordable.

International airport in Solo, but technically located in Boyolali. From the airport you can reach the Solo city by taxi, bus, or train. By train (to Balapan Station) you can book directly in the counter or book online, the ticket price is 7k. By taxi you can book directly in the counter near exit gate in arrival area, and for bus you have to go to bus terminal near parking area.

The airport has so many changes since the last time I was here. Now seems they having a lot of improvement including new boarding area. The concept is so good, the boarding area is in the same area with the food court, and there is no more glass wall to separate the area like before. The rest room is also good and clean. So comfy, they even have baby closet in it.

Small but nice airport. The building is clean in every area. The waiting room is nice, wide and cool. Not too crowded also. They have several shops inside the departure terminal and outside the terminal. In the waiting room mostly there are restaurants and cafes.

Airport with art touches.. Javanese art in all elements of this air port. Moreover with kind and warm and also helpful people as an additional value that you never found in other airport in the world. You will see traditional dance performance with beautiful dancer.

We were at this airport for arrival and departure. The airport is very large and not all sections are in use. It is pretty far from the city, so travellers need to allocate at least 1.5 hours of travel time. The wheelchair service here is efficient. There are many places to sit and wait at the gate.

Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) is really quite an amazing airport. It’s not crowded with tourists, and mostly locals use it, which makes the experience smooth and stress-free. The baggage belt service is handled carefully, and luggage is received without delay. The shops and washrooms are clean and well-maintained, and the overall environment feels modern and comfortable. With fewer people, there are no long lines — entry and procedures are quick and easy. The staff and locals are also very helpful and friendly. Overall, a wonderful airport experience! ✈️👏

A medium size airport that seem too big for the amount of flights and travelers that it handles. It is very roomy inside and quite efficient, probably partially due to the fact there are relatively few people using it. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops past security, but not one bar, which is fine. A good amount of chairs and a fair amount of charging stations. Decent free WiFi. The only bad thing is location. At least an hour and a half drive from Yogyakarta.

Yogyakarta International Airport is modern, clean, and easy to navigate. The facilities are new and comfortable with a few shops and places to eat. The airport is far from the city but there is a direct train that takes about 30 minutes and makes getting there very convenient. Tickets cost 20,000 IDR and I recommend buying them in advance on railink.com since they tend to sell out quickly. Overall it is a smooth airport to travel through and a good gateway to Yogyakarta.

My flight got delayed thrice here so we arrived past 8pm, i got stamp right away at the immigration queue and good for entry, there’s staff before you get out and into customs which will guide you to input your details on the tablet - a mandatory when entering jogja. It’s smooth. The only problem was when I got held for questioning at the customs police not by my baggage but because I was meeting someone here, and questions like that. I thought at first he won’t allow me exit as he took all my things and even my documents - my insurance and all. Luckily he did but to an expense of i almost almost get left behind by the last trip of train. The airport is pretty massive. - when I was at the train station and was about to purchase new ticket, my physical cards won’t work on their machines so I have to withdraw cash to the atm booth which seems to be 2km away. It would be nice to put up a booth just outside the train station. I was able to withdraw but the last trip of the train almost almost left me. A buzzer beater

Reactivated airport. Expect minimum amenities. As of august 2025, only terminal A is in service. There's only one food stall before the check-in gate; and there are only a few fnb and souvenir shops after the check-in gate. No active lounge service is available.

At the arrival section there are too many drivers offering rides to town.. No bluebird nor grab queue... They are not allowing to enter... I was kick out and ask to wait ouside to take csrs if using applications... This is very inconvenience and So disappointed.....there also not much food and shops to waits... Feels very deserted with plenty of drivers....

Very busy airport with so little facilities. The airport is not big, that’s why it’s so crowded. Rather uncomfortable due to its size. You could find charging station, souvenir shop, lounge, and so on. But it can’t help. I think it has to be improved due to more and more people come to Yogyakarta

These days this airport only serves limited number of flights. The rest are moved to the new international airport about 50 kms away. This results in the lack of traffic of passenger in the vicinity. Like a closed business, the narrow passage is pretty dark.

Very small international airport, still have some big brand fast food and coffee in it. This airport will operate till 2020 and will change to new airport, by the beach and 50km away from city. No sim card selling found upon arrival. Immigration and customer officer not friendly

The international airport in Yogyakarta which in my opinion is very small in size like a bus terminal. but the service is good, waiting room is comfortable. In here , you will smell something like a bread. Very taste. Many things make this airport different from other airports. namely cultural diversity and local wisdom of Javanese culture which is very thick at this airport. The saddest thing at this airport is the narrow apron so that many planes have been delayed to wait for landing, so the plane is circling above the Kulon Progo area before landing. The density of this airport has exceeded its maximum capacity. Fortunately there is a replacement airport even though the replacement airport has not been 100% complete. Yes, Yogyakarta International Airport is a replacement airport for this adisutjipto airport.
