I love Kitsuregawa michi-no-eki onsen because it has just the right balance to welcome people who are visiting from out of town, while being very comfortable for locals. The onsen pools are not very large, but all guests usually can fit. There is an indoor pool and outdoor on both sides as well as a cold water tank you can submerge in. The water is usually 42 degrees, which I find to be the right temperature to enjoy for a long time without getting overly hot. The sauna is very popular. If you don't want to go to the onsen, there is a foot bath onsen outside that anyone can use. In the footbath you can actually make onsen eggs in a special corner of this building. The exercise pool has been closed for several years since the corona virus pandemic began. I have not heard yet when it will reopen.
One of Road side services with Free footbath and Hmt Spring Spa. Of course, a local shop and a small restaurant are there.
Kitsuregawa is a Roadside station in Sakura city. Its not particularly large, but it has everything you need for a rest on a road trip. Toilets including a nappy changing area, vending machines, food court with freshly baked homemade breads and other food, souvenirs. It even has a foot spa. Its beside a riverside park which has a nice playground.
Onsen and sauna are small, but there are many (perhaps local) people even on a weekday, and some of them use the washing space and sauna for a long time. The quality of onsen itself is good, though.
Has both onsen and pool. Children might not like onsen but very like pool. Nice place for family.
Good place to relax
(Translated by Google) I didn't use the hot spring facilities this time, but the foot bath had a nice hot spring smell and I thought it was a pretty good hot spring. I only used the roadside station this time, but the shop was very busy. The hot spring bread in particular had a chewy dough and they sold bread filled with yakisoba and fried foods. I bought a few things that caught my eye. There was also a food court, but it wasn't open yet as it was after 9pm, but they had a wide variety of products including locally grown vegetables, rice balls, bento boxes, and new rice. The prices were reasonable and I personally felt it was cheap.

(Translated by Google) This park is located on the west side of the roadside station Kitsuregawa, where the Arakawa River and the Uchikawa River meet. In addition to playing with swings and other play equipment, playing in the water at the so-called "Jabu-Jabu Pond," and camping at the tent site in the lawn area, there is also a barbecue facility, so you can enjoy vegetables and meat purchased at the roadside station Kitsuregawa. You can taste it.
Arakawa Mizube park is a riverside park in Sakura City. It was badly damaged by typhoon Hagibis and closed for a few weeks in Autumn 2019. We visited in December 2019 and it was already back open and looking like brand new. There are two digger activities that are unusual and a big hit. Also has a combo piece, a slide, spring rides and swings. The park is beside a roadside station.

(Translated by Google) I came from Ibaraki. It's not that big, but it's next to a roadside station. There is a place to play in the water next to the river, which is perfect for letting your dog play on a hot day. The water is shallow (about 15cm) and safe for children. However, the water is not clean. You can think of it as a space to play while you stop by a roadside station. (Translated by Google) This is a rare park with a see-saw playground. There are playground equipment for preschoolers, and as the name suggests, it is near water, so you can splash around in the water in the summer. It's a good place for small children, but parents may need to be careful as there are no fences around the water or dangerous areas. However, it is an open space with a wide view, so I don't think it's a problem even if you go a little far away. The entrance is a narrow road that is a little hard to find, and there is a parking lot nearby that is also a little difficult to find, but I think you'll get used to it once you go. I think it's a good park for letting small children play freely when it's not crowded. Children touch the sand and have fun manipulating it vertically and horizontally. There aren't many rides, but it's a riverside park with a spacious area where you can play freely. On the way home, I stop at a roadside station and buy some juice, vegetables, and fruits before heading home. There is also a hot spring, but I have never been in it. There are also benches, so you can relax and take a rest. It's not very crowded at times, so it's a little-known spot to let the kids play. The waterway that flows into the Arakawa River from a pond that is about the size of the children's ankles resembles a slide, and the children were hooked after testing their courage🎵 The butt of my swimsuit tore after many days of slipping, so be careful! 🤭 The riverbank is shallow and wide, with stones in place, and you can walk to the front of the barbecue area. After I got cold, I was able to play in my swimsuit on the playground equipment with no one else playing under the scorching sun. The roadside station has delicious lunch boxes and pudding, so you can stop by before or after playing! This is my favorite course, 27 challenging holes and the combinations are all exciting, the scenery is beautiful and there are even treats in all courses, there are hospitality warm drinks in the cold months, sakura mochi during cherry blossom season, cold snacks in the summer etc, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the practice range is big and modern, the accommodations are great, there are spacious villas with large onsen rooms for the larger groups, I consider this my home course, and I’m always excited to play there
Amazing experience I like to go back and enjoy the swimming pool too, I highly recommend it
Some really fun golf holes on this beautiful course - could play again and again without getting bored. Challenging, but not punishing. Really nice onsen and hotel. Pool was a hit with the children, who were on a junior golf camp. Lunch is much better quality than other courses. Stayed in the hotel and in the Glamping - top notch food and experience. The staff are really friendly and accommodating.
Played here for the first time. Wonderful experience. Golf course is a fun 27 hole challenging course from the back tees. The restaurants and accommodations are resort level. They even have a pool and bar. Foreigners are very very welcome and ENGLISH skills are high. They will pick you up at the station. Recommend a 2 round overnight with dinner. Great getaway golf resort friendly to foreigners.
Very good surprise. Beautiful course, played all 27 holes and it is a challenging but well managed course. The hotel is very nice and comfortable and I recommend staying there for a weekend. Another surprise is the Teppanyaki restaurant which was very good. I will definitly go there again.
We had a great weekend ! Excellent food & Great hospitality ❤️

It's so beautiful! ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー In autumn, the leaves of the giant ginkgo are spectacular. It is lit up for a limited time. In 2024, it will be from November 10th (Sunday) to November 17th (Sunday) from 17:00 to 21:00. The giant ginkgo tree, which has been selected as one of the top 100 Tochigi trees, is really large. Today, November 11th, the leaves change color a little more at the bottom, so I'm looking forward to seeing the leaves change towards the end of November. There is a bonfire in the grounds and chairs are set up next to it. You can sit and enjoy the free milkman's coffee while admiring the bonfire and giant ginkgo tree. You can do it slowly. There is a parking lot, so you can come by car, and there will be about 2 kitchen cars during the event, so you can enjoy the gourmet food as well. If you are taking the Tohoku Shinkansen, transfer to a conventional line from Utsunomiya Station, get off at Ujiie Station, and arrive at the pre-booked club bus in about 15 minutes from the rotary in front of the station. (There are also buses such as Kitsuregawa, Shizuka, and Junkura at Ujiie Station, so don't make a mistake. ← Well, there's no one like that. LOL) On the day, we started with ice packs and water while preparing for the summer sun with almost no impact from Typhoon No. 7. The course is generally wide, but the rough is deep and long, which is typical for this time of year, so the key to getting a good score is to use the driver, the wood, the hard bunkers (lol), and not to leave the water on holes with ponds. . The green conditions are soft and the stimp meter is in the 8ft range, so you may have a hard time getting the right touch at first. There are some undulating places, so depending on the position of the pin, it may not go in smoothly unless you place it exactly on the line. The lunch menu, which is another thing to look forward to, is a bit small, so if you're going for two days or two rounds, you might have a bit of a problem. The 700 special char siu from the side menu is a delicious dish with a hearty texture that can be used as a snack or as a side dish, so I highly recommend it. Golfing by train is different from golfing in your own car, as you have to pay for transporting bags and Shinkansen fares, but especially during the Obon holidays and long holidays, it's safe and easy to go without worrying about traffic jams. Right. It's still a long way off, but I'm sure I'll be a stingy golfer once I reach retirement age, so I'd like to enjoy a luxurious golf experience now.
