Absolutly beautiful place, a must in my opinion. You can walk all along the cliff enjoying views and take pictures. I would suggest to go there right before night fall to benefit from the golden hour
I visited Dingli Cliffs recently and truly enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunset views of my life. The place felt peaceful, quiet, and absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sun slowly disappear into the horizon was an amazing experience. If you’re in Malta and love nature, calm moments, and stunning scenery, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended.✌️

With fresh sea air, panoramic vistas, and a sense of untouched beauty, Dingli Cliffs are a must-see for nature lovers and photographers alike.
Very beautiful! Wish I could have come at sunset as the sun sets this direction and it’s supposed to be beautiful! But even during the day it’s stunning. You don’t need that much time there. Cute little vendors on site as well that sell souvenirs and snacks
Dingli Cliffs is one of Malta’s most breath-taking natural landmarks, offering stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding countryside. It’s a wonderful place for a peaceful walk, with ample free street parking along the roadside, as well as a small car park in front of the chapel. The cliffs are especially popular at sunset, when the sky lights up with beautiful colours, making it a favourite spot for photographers and couples alike. There are a few benches along the way where you can sit and enjoy the scenery, and you can even spot Filfla Island in the distance. It’s also a popular stop for guided tours, but even if you visit on your own, the sense of tranquillity is unmatched. 🌅 Perfect spot to watch the sunset 📸 Beautiful location for photography and photoshoots 🅿️ Free roadside parking + Free small car park by the chapel 🏞️ Panoramic views of the sea, countryside, and Filfla Island
“Dingli Cliffs is an amazing spot for sunset shots! 🌅 The views over the Mediterranean are breathtaking, with dramatic cliffs and golden light — perfect for photography and soaking in nature.”
Worth visiting. The view on the wide open sea and cliffs is wonderful. And the hillside with car wrecks which have be laying there for decades is also impressive.
Nothing special about it and nothing to do here. Maybe better to see the sunset if you are into it but other then that, rather skip it. No shade, overpriced trinkets, sea and "cliffs". You can see better cliffs in Ireland, Norway, Croatia, Greece etc...

We did the sunset tour with Matthew, who was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful throughout the trip. Interesting history about the local area and Malta, amazing scenery and views along the way and a beautiful sunset to conclude the tour. Highly recommended!
We went out with Lucas and had an amazing experience! He was patient and responsible with the kids and was a great guide and offered lots of useful information. Would highly recommend. It was a great way to see Malta!
We found this tour last minute, and they were able to accommodate us. We like doing Segway tours, and in this town with the extreme hills, the Segway is awesome. We covered a lot of great sites and our guide was very good. I would strongly recommend them!
Had a great afternoon on the Segway tour. Such a novel way to see some sights. Dingli cliffs are stunning. Gabriel was an excellent guide ensuring the tour was as safe as it was fun. Equipment was all in good working order and clear instructions given at the start.
We went as a family with our sons who are a young man in his twenties and older teenager. My wife's was initially quite nervous about using a Segway but actually found it much easier to control than expected and really enjoyed the experience. Our guide Gabriel knew the local area and showed us many interesting natural and historic sights. At no point did we feel pressured to go faster by Gabriel, which meant it was a relaxing trip. The journey was a good mix of quiet roads in a small town, country lanes, paths in a public park and a nice scenic road by the Dingli Cliffs. All in all, really good fun and highly recommend.
We did the Valletta tour and we really enjoyed it. Our guide (Gabriel) was friendly and relaxed, he was very easy to get along with. I'd contacted them via WhatsApp before booking, and they answered quickly and made everything simple.
We went out with David yesterday and had a blast. He was a great guide! He has a deep knowledge of the island and it's history. He also made sure our group was always safe and aware. The Segways were well maintained and worked great.
Looking for a fun yet comfortable way to tour and experience a little bit of Malta? You’ve landed at the right place. Matthew was very patient and kind, keeping our large group safe and the tour enjoyable. He ensured we were all confident on the Segway before heading out into the town. The Segways were very easy to understand and navigate with. It was my first time on a Segway and now it’s something I’d like to own 😄 This is a really great way to experience Dingli Cliffs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matthew and this company for a fun Segway tour

Interesting site, makes me wander what was here. My theory is, since there is a query not far away, I belive people where transporting rock from query to near by town. It was sledge type of cart, without wheels, that's why tracks are so deep. Historian MM...🤣
It takes a long while to find this place. Have posted a photo of were we parked. There are other tracks on the island. But being from London, I was curious to visit our largest railway station. Bring sturdy boots.
Very interesting site with loads of deep ruts in the rock. We first saw a reference to these in the archeological museum in Valletta. Given the historical importance of this site we were amazed by the lack of direction signage and interpretative signage. The caves are amazing and well worth the short walk. There must have been many families that lived here.
A place of mysterious and intoxicating energy. It makes us realize the extent of the gap that has yet to be filled/unveiled or even clarified in the history of humanity.
Amazed at such mysterious wide deep marks in the land. Easiest way to find is with google satellite view. The track that leads down the hill right where they intersect is so deep. The caves up the hill are interesting too.
A great tracking location you can start from buskett gardens to this cave and curt ruts than walk to the cliffs. Ghar il-Kbir (Literally: "The big cave") is a complex of caves between buskett gardens and Dingli Cliffs , Malta. It is mostly known for several curt ruts which are located next to it.The general structure of the cave system has eight caves spread across two levels.
Beautiful and interesting place where history is visible. People where living in these caves in Midewall times, maybe even earlier. Ghar il-Kbir is complex of couple caves. We did not have to spend night here but it seems to be gest place to hide if there is cold and windy outside (in Midewall era it was important!). Caves are near to Dingi Clifs so it can be a part of your romantic trip ;)
Historic limestone quarry with stone cutting traces. The traces look like wagon traces because if the regular distance between the stonemason’s chisel activities. There is also an underground source from the quarry. The entrance is free, but the access road requires good driving or a 4-wheel vehicle. Not acessable with 🦽. Ideal visiting time early in the morning or late afternoons. There is no shaddow.

St. Mary Magdalene Chapel is a beautiful, historic site with stunning views of the cliffs and the surrounding countryside. The chapel, dating back to the 17th century, offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for quiet reflection or a photo opportunity. It's a great spot after exploring the cliffs. Free parking is available nearby, though it can get busy at peak times. A lovely, tranquil place to visit with rich history and breath-taking scenery. Highly recommend!
This charming 17th-century chapel is a must-see for history enthusiasts. Though its current structure dates back to the 17th century, its origins trace as far back as the 15th century, adding a layer of historical intrigue. Perched at Dingli Cliffs, the chapel offers not only a serene spiritual experience but also breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Its simple architecture and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect spot for quiet reflection and admiration of Malta’s rich cultural heritage. Don’t miss this hidden gem during your visit to Dingli Cliffs!
I think this chapel has one of the most beautiful views! It is just breathtaking. When the sky is clear you can appreciate how amazing it is. On the other hand, talking about public transportation, the bus stop is just in front of it.
Small chapel overlooking the Dingli Cliffs from the highest point on the island. Great spot for taking in a sunset and exploring the coastline.
Small and nice church near Dingli Cliffs. It makes the surrounding environment even more photogenic and awesome. The view from this spot is impressive and you can take fantastic pictures of the Mediterranean Sea.
is a Roman Catholic chapel in the limits of Dingli, Malta, dedicated to Mary Magdalene. It overlooks the Dingli Cliffs, and is therefore commonly known as il-kappella tal-irdum (chapel of the cliffs). The chapel was built in 1646 on the site of an earlier one which had existed since at least the 15th century. Its simple architecture is typical of Maltese wayside chapels. The altarpiece is The Risen Christ by Paul Camilleri Cauchi, depicting Jesus forgiving a penitent Mary Magdalene after his resurrection.
Small chapel near the cliffs. It's special only by its location. It was closed, but at least I took some rest in the shadows before my next walk.
I am a bit disappointed about this place. The church was nice only for the view. About the cliff I expected more, I have visited Cliff of Moher one year ago and I think that this last one are a thousand better.

We got the cheese sharing platter, rabbit stew and timpana. The platter was good, but very salty and the sauces/tapenades didn't really match, but it was good size. Would've been better with something sweet to balance it out. The mains were tasty as well, very big portions. We got the house white wine, too, very good. Would recommend, the service and atmosphere were great as well.
I stumbled across this Restaraunt after exploring the Dingli cliffs and viewpoints so decided to have lunch. This is a very authentic restaurant with locally sourced produce. The selection of dishes we had were all cooked very well and were very tasty. We were able to get a table without a reservation, not sure if this would be the case in an evening though. Well worth giving this place a try if you’re down in Dingli.
Randomly stopped here with my Mum just looking for a coffee to rest our bones but after popping inside to use the toilet, magnificent aromas teased me into perusing the menu and deciding on some lunch. The food here is undeniably delectable and great value also. I went for the Timpani but if I had more space I would have eaten a lot more! The staff were so kind and attentive and the food was one of the best experiences we had in Malta. Inside the restaurant is a deli with local produce, breads, olives etc. J would definitely recommend going out of your way to please your appetite here it's a fantastic place to eat. Thanks to all the staff you deserve everything!
An Unforgettable Farm-to-Table Experience at Diar il-Bniet! If you’re looking for a truly authentic, hands-on Maltese culinary experience, look no further than the cooking class at Diar il-Bniet. This was more than a class—it was a full-sensory journey from the farm to the table, and every moment was unforgettable. The experience began with a beautiful tour of the family-owned estate, where we picked our fresh ingredients straight from the fields. There’s something incredibly grounding about seeing and touching the very produce you’ll later transform into a meal. The connection to the land was immediate and powerful. Once back in the kitchen, our Chef, Godwin, who was not only exceptionally skilled but also warm, funny, and passionate about Maltese cuisine, walked us through each recipe with patience and joy, making sure everyone felt confident and involved. The dishes we created together were vibrant, traditional, and absolutely delicious—and made even more special by the fact that we’d harvested much of it ourselves just hours before. To finish the day, we all gathered around a communal table to enjoy the fruits of our labour, surrounded by good company. It was the experience that stays with you long after the last bite. Thank you to Godwin and the entire team at Diar il-Bniet for an inspiring, nourishing day. I left with a full belly, a full heart, and a deeper appreciation for Maltese food and culture. I will definitely be back!
Delicious local food, extremely friendly service, and a very cozy outdoor seating area.
We had the honour to do the cooking class (Ravioli making) with Chef Godwin, a very enthusiastic, kind and skilled cook that showed us how to make filled ravioli from scratch. He started with a tasting of in house and fresh home made cheeses and jams. (Which are remarkble) gave us a step by step how to on the pasta and filling making. Then cooked our Ravioli (in an amazing tomato saus) and as the first extra we got gifted the best prepared rabbit as tasted on the island! Absolute mouth watering. After the diner we went to ( a part) of the gardens from where the fresh ingredients come and visited Milly and Daisy, the house donkeys! Was an absolute must try! Recommend 10 out of 5. Was fun, learnfull, relaxed, playful! With good tips and how to's from Godwin! Also a thanks to the rest of the team for being enthusiastic, dropping in for a talk, being kind and helping out! Much appreciated
We had a lovely dinner here. We had no reservations so there was only a place available outside which we didn't mind at all. The street is semi-busy so expect to see / hear a few cars. Our server Samir had a very pleasant vibe, super friendly and helpful. The food from starters to desert was absolutely amazing, everything tasted superb and was obviously made from fresh ingredients. The wine card felt overwhelming so if you know your stuff you probably will find something special. We just stuck with the white house wine and we felt it was really tasty. If you're in the vicinity you should absolutely pay this place a visit.
Delicious food, friendly staff, prices are ok. Recommend the aubergine. Be careful with the spaghetti with rabbit, has a lot of tiny bones that can break your teeth or make you stroke.
