Wonderful experiences and knowledgeable hosts. The works that they do and provide for the community are outstanding. We learned so much about the bees 🐝 and how much impact they do for the world 🌎. Thank you for being here and teaching us! We booked this tour and recommend it!
This was a great experience - John was very educational and made it fun to learn about the bees. He did an amazing job at sharing information about overall sustainability and the impact we can all make. We loved our time there, they make incredible products, and our kids really enjoyed it too.
Had a great time with Nick & John. Both super passionate about what they do and more than happy to share their experiences and knowledge. Was worth driving from Athens to learn about the bees & olives! Would highly recommend anyone to take a trip to make it there and learn more about the bees and a brief history of olives. Managed to book a last minute tour with them via their website, and they manage to accommodate my trip within 1 hour of dropping a message. Very impressed with their hospitality and sincerity! They had wonderful honey and olives as souvenirs too.
We had such an awesome time today doing an awesome olive oil tour. The tour was phenomenal and the oil, olives, and honey we got to try was wonderful. Loved how they had a gift shop to buy the products after the tour was done. They also were so great to our 1 year old, and had toys for him to play with when they saw how restless he was getting. Appreciated everything!!
One of the absolute highlights of our trip to Greece, both tasting the honey and learning everything about the bees! Everyone here was so nice and so passionate about the bees and honey and environment. So exciting to learn the details about how bees make honey and manage their hives, and of course to taste the delicious honey that Moka produces! Wish we had bought more :) definitely worth a stop here.
We completely lucked out stumbling across MoKa after visiting Delphi. Incredible experience with a passionate staff who were great explaining the nuances of bee keeping to our group that ranged from 6- 80. Lovely property focused on sustainability. Experience included interesting discussion on bees and hands on opportunities with bees that included putting on bee keeper outfits and seeing hive up close. Visit ended with honey tasting and visit to nice shop Book ahead online!
Very informative and hands on experience with guides who are clearly passionate about what they do. The honey tasting was delicious and fun. We also loved getting to put on the protective suits and handle the bee boxes, and to see the combs and bee activity up close. This was tied for our favourite activity out of the two months we spent in Greece (the other was an olive tour). Note: we visited several years ago but recently finished some hand cream we bought after the tour, and realized that we had not written a review!
Highly recommend this experience. I learnt not only about bees (more fascinating than I could have imagined!), but I also learnt about the environment and historical and contemporary Greece. This authentic, grass roots experience was a relaxing pause for me on the otherwise busy tourist trail of the main historical sites. They also make beautiful natural products which have improved the condition of my skin.
