Extremely Disappointed – Avoid This Company at All Costs I booked an Executive People Carrier from Johns Garage Taxi for an airport pickup for myself, my wife, and our three young children. We expected a comfortable, professional service but what we got was the exact opposite. When we arrived, the driver was holding our name but offered no welcome or even basic politeness. He made no effort to help with our luggage. When we got to the vehicle, I was shocked. The car was in terrible condition filthy on the outside and even worse inside. The interior was dirty and cluttered, the seats and handles were disgusting, and the dashboard was lit up with warning lights. This was not an executive vehicle by any stretch of the imagination. To make matters worse, the driver refused to load our luggage, and I had to do it myself. Not all of it even fit we ended up holding our carry-on bags on our laps for the entire journey. I chose this company based on what seemed like good past reviews, but now I believe those must have been fake or outdated. Do not waste your money on this company. Terrible service, dirty vehicle, and unprofessional attitude. Stay far away and book with someone reputable.

Our flight was delayed and I made more than 1 attempt to contact the provider. My initial attempt was via message through the GetYourGuide app over two hours prior to our flight leaving to inform them of a delay. They never responded. I attempted to send another email via the app as soon as our flight took off but the email did not send before airplane mode was required by our airline, the flight did not offer Wi-Fi. The provide refuses to give a refund even though they never attempted to contact me until my initial booking. They said they didn’t have a flight number but all information was provided to GetYourGuide and even if the flight number was wrong, I am unsure how the company couldn’t view our airline information with the departure/destination information on all of the flight monitoring screens in the airports to see updates. Seems like they don’t want to take responsibility for their lack of communication with their patrons and want to earn an easy buck instead of doing the right thing. All of our other shuttles/ services have been extremely responsive. Had this provider responded to my initial App Notification, which again was sent over 2 hours prior to us flying out, then we would have been in contact and we hopefully would have been able to avoid this. Just keep this in mind before booking this company, they are not responsive and will not compensate for their negligence. Also, there are other ride options in Malta and are super easy to contact, they respond, and much cheaper ———————————————————————— Update to respond to Provider: Thank you for your response, I attempted to reach out to GetYourGuide in regards to the issue of a refund and they denied it based upon the following response from you/the provider: “ I have contacted the activity provider and this is their sentiments and this is the activity provider said I'm sorry we can't help with the refund on this. Our driver waited at the airport from 14.50pm till 16pm. The booking we received was without a flight number, so of course we couldn't monitor their flight. I have coordinated with the activity provider, with the best of effort, to advocate your refund request, however it is my deepest regret to inform you that the activity provider is firm with their non-refundable decision. This is because the activity took place, and they confirmed the spot for you, In addition your request falls outside the cancellation policy. And may you understand that we cannot override the policy imposed by the activity provider on your booking since they are no longer permitting me to cancel your booking and there is no option anymore here on our end. May I kindly convey that in such circumstances, our action is highly dependent on the decision of the activity provider, As a customer service representative, I ensure that I exhaust all available option and offer a more effective solution, in order to ensure that my customer received a superior experience”

Terrible experience. We had pick up from hotel al 7 30 pm, but no driver showed up. At 7 45 due to being late for my dlight i just took a uber. In the time between 7 30 and 7 45 i called the company and the person was rude and after discussing a bit he hang up the phone . He was telling me that the booking app was showing me wrong that the driver is at the airport and the reality is that he is on the way but due to traffic he did not arrive . To be honest i don t! If we have a schedule at a certain hour for 3 x the price of uber I expect the driver to be at the scheduled time. Not being there even after 15-20 minutes from the scheduled time, tells you the unprofessionalism of this company. I don t recomand ever to use them unless you want to lose your flight. Terrible experience !!

Used this company for transfer from and to the airport. We landed 3 hours late and when I call them they send me a car within 10 minutes the driver was very courteous and very kind. On pick up day our driver was fantastic, he was 15 minutes before pick up time, waited for us to get our bits together and was very knowledgeable of the area as there was a lot of roads blocked and he got us to the airport in good time for our flight. I will be very happy to use this company again as they were very professional and very helpful, many thanks.

Ordered a private airport collection in a large car with a child seat for 6 people, 1 child, 1 infant, at 11pm and arrived to the collection vehicle, and another family with 2 toddlers and a minibus were waiting. The driver stated we were going in the same direction and arrived at roughly the same so he would take us together. I asked where the other people were staying which was north east, and we were staying north west. He then said he would drop the others first, then us, and it would be roughly an hour which was not delaying us. I knew the journey was 25 mins so he was lying. I then refused to get in the car and asked him for another driver (who was nice and polite). He couldn’t argue when I brought the drive up on google maps but the new car had no car seat. The other family had both car seats and he said they got them first and there weren’t any more! Despite organising a private transfer! I would not use this company again .

Steer clear of this place! It is sad to write this review because it was a great experience going to the airport and a horrible experience coming back from the airport. My wife and I were visiting Malta and I wanted to surprise her for an overnight stay in Paris. I wanted everything to be perfect, so I decided to book a service in advance instead of grabbing a Bolt. I should have grabbed the Bolt! We had a great experience going to the airport and the driver was interactive and the car was what you would expect for an executive transfer. The return was a different story, the driver was over 45 minutes late and we called the service, they said the traffic was bad, well, all the other passengers had their drivers there and had been gone for 45 minutes. The car was far from executive, and the driver wasn’t either. Just take a Bolt, it was much easier during the rest of the trip to get around. Gave a two star because of the trip to the airport a zero for the way back.

We came 9 -12 to Malta A group of 9 women and we had arranged to pick us up and from the airport.The driver didn’t want to accommodate us and wanted to let us walk a huge uphill with heavy luggage.The same happened on our way back he didn’t come to meet us at the designated spot even after we called the centre to help us .We used bolt and paid much less money.The reservation was under the name salemi margarita I don’t have the number since I didn’t make the reservation
