Very nice place to spend in summer. Car parking is available.
It's a very good place to visit this summer , enough swimming areas for Kids and Adults. With white sand by the water so kids can play. 5:00 Euros for parking tickets,, valid till Midnight. SOS First responded teams on standby. No Covid 19 restrictions Bars for food and drinks It's very good.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful lake with a (small) beach in the local recreation area. The relatively narrow strip of beach offers no space to lie down, at least in the summer months. The children splash around here as the water quickly becomes deeper. To the right, behind the beach bar, is a lawn that offers some relaxation. There are also two accesses to the water here. The water itself is of excellent quality. If the section of beach is rather noisy, you can enjoy the peace and quiet a little further out with an I-SUP or rubber dinghy. The lake is particularly ideal for stand-up paddling because there is hardly any current and you can easily stay out of the way. You only need to be able to get on the board from shallow water. It felt like every second visitor was traveling with a floating vehicle. However, due to the size of the lake, there is enough space for everyone and everyone can find a quiet spot if they want. The rest of the bank area is generally not accessible, as is the Old Rhine upstream - both here and there are nature reserves. There are a few places that are used as berths, but this is probably not allowed. The lake is quite large and only deep near the shore. A life jacket or swimming buoy and, if necessary, a companion are recommended if you want to go further out. The DLRG is on site on weekends during the bathing season, but they can only monitor the swimming area marked by buoys; the rest of the lake is barely visible. Please be sure to keep an eye on children. Motorized vehicles are prohibited here, as are canoes, kayaks and (hard) boards and boats. Due to the large number of inflatable I-Sups and inflatable boats, riding them seems to be permitted. The beach bar is well organized and, in addition to plenty of seating, offers good quality drinks and food at acceptable prices. There is a toilet and paid parking spaces in the nearby area on both sides of the industrial road. According to the sign, the lake itself, including the circular path and beach, is closed to dogs during the bathing season. Dogs are only allowed on the paved part of the beach bar. Der See selbst inkl.
(Translated by Google) Why there is so much space on the lawn Because she's full of shit. Very unfortunate... Natural lake/quarry pond with all its advantages and disadvantages. Small restaurant/bar with chairs and tables. There is a nice charge at the parking lot in front, especially on weekends = full price.
(Translated by Google) It's a real shame. We were visiting Worms and thought a trip to Silbersee would be a good idea. Unfortunately, there was feces all over the paths. You had to be more careful not to step in it than to enjoy the scenery. And then the rest of the path was blocked on two sides, by companies or something similar. (Original) Echt schade.
(Translated by Google) Parking fee too expensive, lake is okay, Service was sometimes a disaster, it felt like 15 people and no one could see through it. Hygiene is questionable, people repeatedly fix their hair over the counter while making fries. 😵‍💫🤔

Wonderful cute little birdpark with many different species of birds. Entry is free and you can walk up directly to the cages. Storks, flamingos and ducks are free roaming in the central area. Parrots and eagles are in cages. Cockatoos, macaws and African greys can be found here.
Best greek restaurant since a long time. great greek salad and finally greek Rice noodles. not to forgot viereinhalb the Storches white eating.
This place is very nice. There are car parking options in front of it and they are all free of charge. You do not pay a fee for the visit. It was very interesting (especially for my kids) to see too many different types of birds. The only thing that l do not find pleasant is that the place smells bad. Maybe it is just because of the birdshit all over the cages. But still it smells bad.
It is a beautiful park, well attendant and good organized .
I had my great experience and good time in this place. Beside of seeing all these beautiful and many critical endangered species, I learned alot there. Its lovely they built all these white Stork love nest on the roof. There are no entry fee for this place , but I would donate some money and support this non- profit birdpark, those birds and nearly extinct species would need your help. Workers are very friendly, spending time explained to me about birds and visit location in English. Danke sehr!!!
When i visited this place Renovierung was in process
Nice place for kids and family.
Nice place. I was disappointed only because one part of park it was closed , and there was no update on page to know that
