Great circular walk on the side of the road. Google maps sends you wrongly up the hill. I've marked the starting point in the attached photo. Good as part of a trip. Don't make it your main attraction of the day.
A beautiful natural park we'll maintained with stunning views. Various hiking trails some harder than others. Parking is limited so I think if coming by car best to park at the earliest opportunity and walk from the base. Especially stunning after recent rainfall with the waterfalls and small streams. Recommend after your walk, a stop in Moya for refreshments and a look around this very nice village.
I have been to many other natural parks. They were more convenient for tourists. The nature of Spain is beautiful and unforgettable! If you suddenly decide to go to the end of the mountain road that leads deep into the park, please be careful! This is not an easy road. It teaches people to negotiate and be careful, despite the beauty that reigns around!
Hiking area in the green northern part of the island, you can choose from 3 paths, all of them are around 2-3 km long. The parking is a little bit small so it may take some time to find a spot along the road. The hikes are fairly easy and the views are great so definitely recommending this place!
:) it is a lovely walk. Well sign posted but rarely is the signage followed. Not suited for those with mobility issues, fear of heights or balance problems. A few areas where problems could arise if a person were to slip. 3 of 5 stars as the area has No public bathrooms, no garbage cans, no simple public transit access & almost zero for legal parking spaces. Car access is about the only safe approach to the area if traveling with a young family and out for a short nature walk. Other access can be found by hiking into the area from outside the valley. Path is shared with all walks of life and pet owners both with pets on and off leash. Seating areas are lovely but very few of them. Very little space to pass oncoming hikers in most of the upper loop trail parts. Lots of flora and fauna to see and a few interpretation signs posted as well. If you manage to navigate by vehicle here up the narrow roads it is worth it. Hint: if you have driving time you can exit by continued car travel up the valley (instead of trying to do a tight U-turn after illegal parking like everyone else) and then taking the first right turn past the tiny church on the left. This run will take you out to the Galdar / Guia GC -70.
If you want to feel like you're in a rainforest, but you can't afford to go to south America, I highly recommend this place! The circular walk can be done in ~40 minutes.
A very nice little walk (we did the 2km curcuit) around native laurel forest. If you are interested in flora and fauna you will not be disappointed. Lots of information boards. We saw lizards and birds of prey. Parking is limited and the drive up might be a bit challenging if you are not used to Canarian mountain roads!
A beautiful green contrast to much of the south. A short circular walk (2.5km) takes you through the ancient forest.

We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful house and small garden. Very interesting to learn about Tomas Morales and see some great portraits of him and his literary friends.
Fascinating *free* museum celebrating the life of Tomas Morales. No English captions, and the host at reception spoke little English. None of that stopped us from enjoying our short visit there.
Beautiful place, feeling very welcomed.
Free entry. An excellent opportunity to get to know the life of Tomás Moráles and at the same time to learn how people lived in Gran Canaria during his lifetime.
A good opportunity to get to know not only the life of Tomas Morales but also the typical architecture of Gran Canaria.
An interesting place to visit and free entry. The staff were very welcoming. Able to wander around the different rooms. Do not miss the small garden.
Very friendly staff and nice to walk around the house to appreciate the art, it has free entry so that why I recommend it.
moya is a wonderful town, with the best touristic service on the island.. take a look to portal de turismo de moya! :) one of its must-to-see places is this museum, full of history and curiosity!

We only drove through and took a short break to take in the magical view. So amazing. We will definitely go back to do the hike.
We came here in march. Place was interesting, green, with some flowers. Lots of banana plantations closer to the sea. We found it easy and quite relaxing to walk along the route with a great view to the ocean.
Interesting site from the top of the mountain narrow winding roads. Rural and spectacular views on a clear day.
speechless, amazing are just one of the adjectives I'll get in mind! It was incredible to go there , drive up from sealevel to the mountain and the preserved nature - the serpentines with their ups and downs and before all - you do not need to get a rental car as you go up there by Guaguas - or in another case, just book through the tourist office. The island had 28 to 30 degrees in october 2022 on sealevel and in the mountains and nature preserved parks and the full mountain region, you got 15 to 13. October is already winter over there. The currency is Euro and english is most often well known on the coast side - in the mountains - in some restaurants but here "spanish" is very much appreciated. Bring out your passive once learned spanish and restart with the lovely poeple over there! It was an adventure, believe me! You love the island with the sea, mountain, and vulcanic way of the other mountain sides down the hills - or you don't love it! The Parque Rural and the whole island is full of surprises. It'll maybe catch your heart and love for it in a very subtle way of a kind of an emotion like a flower starting to grow! ! Enjoy - I only can recommand it
Really nice circular hike. Takes around 40 minutes. We didn’t see much due to the clouds, but it’s a really relaxing hike.
Exciting views, unbelievable nature. Due to fire alert, tracking routes were closed
Great place to go hiking in the green northern part of the island. Great variety of local plants. Steep unprotected parts of some paths.
Beautiful landscape. We visited the Finca de Osorio. An awesome spot for some hiking or picnicking.
