We recently visited this attraction and was pleased to find that it is well-maintained. Please note that you can't enter directly; tickets are required at a cost of 100 per adult and 50 per child. There's a designated parking area with a convenient shuttle service to avoid traffic on the way up to the view deck. It's a lovely place to visit, but I recommend planning your trip during sunny weather to fully enjoy the experience, as storms can dampen the ambiance. Overall, it's a great spot for a day out!
Love it so so much! The sceneries I have only seen in my textbooks back in elementary schools, now I have seen the actual of it. Seeing it upclose is so much better. God is so great to have made things like these. Maybe it's better to visit this also when not so much people around but what can I say, this place have so many admirers.
A short hike with big rewards! The climb is quick but can get pretty hot, so come prepared. Once you reach the top, the breathtaking view makes it all totally worth it. It’s a fun, family-friendly spot—just maybe not the best for older folks who prefer an easier stroll. Definitely a must-see for anyone visiting the area!
Visiting the Chocolate Hills in Bohol is a breathtaking experience that showcases one of the Philippines' most unique and stunning natural wonders. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous—rolling hills as far as the eye can see, perfectly shaped and covered in vibrant green grass during the rainy season. It’s a surreal, almost otherworldly sight that photos simply can’t do justice. To reach the main viewing deck, you’ll first purchase your tickets at a clearly marked booth near the entrance. From there, a van shuttle service will transport you up to the base of the hill where the viewpoint is located. The ride is short but convenient, especially considering the steep incline. Once dropped off, be prepared for a bit of a workout—there are quite a number of stairs to climb to reach the top viewing platform. But the effort is absolutely worth it. From the top, you get a panoramic view of hundreds of the iconic hills stretching across the landscape, each one looking like a giant green Hershey’s Kiss. The lush greenery adds to the magic of the place, especially under a bright blue sky. One important tip: don’t forget your umbrella or sun protection. The sun can be intense at the top, especially around midday, and there's very little shade once you're out in the open. Overall, the Chocolate Hills are a must-see when visiting Bohol—an awe-inspiring natural formation that leaves a lasting impression.
Had a great time visiting the Chocolate Hills Complex. The place is well maintained, the view deck is spacious, and the staff are approachable and polite. The scenery is stunning — definitely worth the climb and the trip. Perfect spot for quick photos, relaxing, and appreciating nature. Highly recommended for anyone exploring Bohol.
A Geology Nerd's Dream Come True Seeing the Chocolate Hills in person was an absolute dream. As a geology enthusiast, it was incredibly special to witness firsthand what time, weather, and natural elements can sculpt into the landscape. The whole experience is well-organized—after parking and paying the entrance fee, you hop on a quick shuttle to the base of the viewpoint. The stairs to the top are a bit of a climb but totally manageable for all ages, and it makes the view feel even more rewarding. We spent about an hour and a half enjoying the entire experience—taking in the scenery, snapping photos, and hanging out at the top. There’s a small restaurant where we grabbed coffee and cup noodles while soaking in the views. The place is stunning and peaceful, and the hills are truly a natural wonder. Don’t miss it if you’re in Bohol!
The Chocolate Hills Complex is truly a must-visit destination in Bohol! The view from the main viewing deck is absolutely breathtaking — hundreds of perfectly shaped hills stretching as far as the eye can see. The facilities are well-maintained, and the site is organized, making it easy to enjoy the experience even when there are many visitors. I visited on 15 Oct 2025, and the scenery looked spectacular with the sunlight casting soft shadows over the hills. The climb up the viewing steps was quite manageable, and the 360-degree panorama at the top made it completely worth it. There are also clean restrooms, souvenir shops, and small stalls offering snacks and refreshments near the entrance. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bohol — it’s an iconic natural wonder that truly lives up to its name! 🌄🇵🇭
Perfect viewpoint to see the the famous Bohol attactions. Better arrive early to avoid the peak time. From a big parking on the main street a van will you bring up. Then 200 steps.

Unique attraction featuring close-up views of tarsiers, with tours & a souvenir shop.
Slide 1 of 8
The Bohol Tarsier Conservation is a lovely place to visit, offering a unique opportunity to see these adorable creatures up close. The location is well-organized, with plenty of parking available for visitors. We were able to spot more than eight tarsiers, which were fascinating to observe. While some might confuse them with bats or mice, their big, expressive eyes are absolutely captivating. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring smooth traffic flow throughout the site, and they were always there to direct visitors. However, like in any popular tourist spot, there were a few people who didn’t follow the simple instruction of avoiding flash photography, which is essential for the well-being of the tarsiers. Overall, it’s a great experience that can easily be combined with other attractions in Bohol, like ATV riding, the Chocolate Hills, and the river cruise lunch. If you're in the area, the Bohol Tarsier Conservation is definitely worth a visit for a memorable, nature-filled experience. Highly recommended!
I appreciate these type of conservation areas where they take good care of the species of specific area from maintaining the natural ecosystem to boosting the local economy and upholding environmental responsibility. It was a good visit although Tarsiers are nocturnal, we get to see how they are in the area. A must and recommended visit as Tarsiers are not common in most places.
We had a very bad weather, heavy rain, so it felt even more crowded with the umbrellas, as the place is really small. You can go along a preset path and definitely see the tarsiers who are really cute and scary at the same time. I am not sure how healthy this is for the animals though 🥺
Visiting the Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area was a nice experience. The place is peaceful, and it was amazing to see the tarsiers up close while the staff made sure visitors kept quiet and respected their space. It’s a short stop, but definitely worth it if you’re in Bohol.
The Tasier are cute. They just hiding under the leaves and rest at day time. They hunt insects at night for supper. The place is not very big but there are 5 to 6 Tasier in the sanctuary. 170peso per person.
170p ticket. The staffs will point out to you where the tarsier is. They are really very small. They also help you take photos together with the monkey. There's a souvenir shop at the exit, pretty much to buy there.
The tarsiers seem decently well taken care of. Just be quiet and don't use flash for your cameras! There are staff on the way to show you where the tarsiers are.
Small sanctuary with about 10 or so tarsiers. They nest really close to the walkway so you get great views. Don't use flash! They'll kill themselves. They are adorable!

Love it so much!!! Thank you for the cruise. <3 Very gopd experience and to see the small waterfalls at the end before turning back again. The tinikling dancers are also something to see along the cruise stop-over. Buffet is good, better to have put more seafoods for me. But overall it was great and I had a great time.
Loboc River Cruise – nice once, but not again It’s been 18 years since I last did the Loboc River Cruise. A few things have changed. Now there’s a proper reception where you can buy tickets. That wasn’t there before. Honestly, the food wasn’t great. It felt like a reheated dinner from the night before. Just being honest sorry 😔 The music and performances were really good though. You can always count on Filipino talent to lift the vibe. It was a good experience, but I wouldn’t do it again. The route is quite short, and by the time you see the small waterfall at the end, you’re already heading back. Toilets were meh. Not the standard you’d expect for a touristy place. But as always, Filipinos are very hospitable and that’s always the plus side wherever you go.
The Loboc River Cruise in Bohol where you dine on a floating restaurant as it cruises down the scenic, jade-green Loboc River. We arrive almost 12 noon and there are lots of tourist about to dine in. We were on queue, and it took almost an hour for us to get accomodated. Here, you board a traditional, motorized floating bpat that serves as a restaurant. It gently travels along the beautiful, palm-tree-lined Loboc River. The entrance is P1000/head that includes a buffet lunch (though not sure if they have dinner, have not asked) featuring a variety of Filipino cuisine and local dishes. The cruise often includes live music and sometimes a short cultural performance by local musicians and dancers, which can make a stop at a floating bamboo stage along the river. I was able to experience and danced with them too. It was fun and unforgettable! Don't forget to tip! The cruise usually lasts about 45 minutes to an hour and turns around near the small Busay Falls. They have photographers, but during file transfers, they are not as updated as today. So I guess, that's a part of them for improvement. It was an extraordinary experience -- a must try when visiting Bohol.
Another highlight of our Bohol countryside tour itinerary. Boarding was organized with a proper waiting area and boarding gates. There were also musicians and singer onboard and upon exit. The river and nature were nice but the food was just okay. Overall experience was great.
The Loboc River Cruise in Bohol is an unforgettable experience that perfectly blends natural beauty, local culture, and delicious Filipino cuisine. From the moment the boat sets off down the emerald-green river, you’re surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, swaying palm trees, and glimpses of local life along the riverbanks. The atmosphere is relaxed and scenic, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of the cruise is the all-you-can-eat Filipino buffet served onboard. The food is freshly prepared and features a wide selection of local dishes, from grilled meats and seafood to pancit (noodles), lumpia (spring rolls), and tropical fruits. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-cooked — a real treat for anyone wanting to taste authentic Filipino flavors in a unique setting. Adding to the ambiance is a live singer performing classic Filipino songs and international favorites, creating a laid-back and enjoyable vibe as you glide along the water. Midway through the cruise, the boat stops at a small riverside stage where a local community performs traditional dances. It’s a fun and heartwarming touch that showcases Bohol’s vibrant culture and hospitality. Overall, the Loboc River Cruise is a must-do experience in Bohol. Whether you're a foodie, nature lover, or cultural enthusiast, the combination of beautiful scenery, great food, and live entertainment makes for a memorable and genuinely Filipino experience.
The loboc river experience is very unforgettable. The entire cruise is a relaxing and the views surrounding the river are very calming. Please check the time when you go Here they are open only for lunch and the process of going in is very simple Buy your ticket go to your designated boat and Enjoy!
Experience not to be missed that has the value of the price. Every 30 mins starts the wooden cruise boat for 1 h tour, included well prepared table, acceptable variable buffet, live enterteitment, beautiful slowly moving on the loboc river surronded by the forest. Even if everthing it's a bit for massive tourism and rather quick to keep the flux of the people, I enjoied the experience occured accidentally
1000 Peso per person for approx a 1 hr cruise and some lunch. The food was a buffet style and was very tasty. Although the cruise isn’t far it’s cool to relax as you cruise along the river and stop on the river to see the local people performing some traditional dances.

Forests
Established in the mid-20th century, this forest features mahogany trees, trails & viewing decks.
Slide 1 of 8
The Bilar Man-Made Forest is absolutely stunning! Driving through the perfectly aligned mahogany trees feels like entering a different world—cool, quiet, and serene. It’s a refreshing break from the tropical heat and a beautiful contrast to the usual island views. We stopped for photos, and every angle was picture-perfect! One thing to note: it’s a functioning road, so taking continuous photos was a bit tricky. Cars were passing by every few minutes, so we had to take extra care and stay alert. Still, totally worth the quick stop—just be cautious and respectful of the traffic. A must-visit when you're in Bohol!
Driving through the Bilar Man-Made Forest feels like entering a completely different world. The tall mahogany trees line both sides of the road, forming a natural tunnel with cool shade and fresh air. It’s very peaceful and perfect for quick photos or just to enjoy the scenery while passing through. There aren’t many facilities since it’s really a stretch of road inside the forest, so it’s best for a short stop rather than a long stay. Still, the atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing—definitely one of the highlights when touring around Bohol.
Driving through Bilar’s Man-Made Forest felt like entering a different world. The towering mahogany trees on both sides create a cool, shady tunnel that’s perfect for photos and a quick nature stop. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and a must-see when exploring Bohol!
This is a quick stop unless you want to take lots of scenic shots. As this road leads to several tourist attractions, there will be several vehicles that will pass by. If you are with children, it is best to keep them close by and not let them run around. Along the way you will see these green boards staying that it is a spot designated for taking photos because before that area there are several signboards advising drivers to slow down as there could be tourists on the road. There are a handful of vendors selling souvenirs which are similar to the ones you see in souvenir shops. The place is quiet and cool surrounded with mangrove trees.
The Bilar Man-Made Forest is a calm and beautiful stop. The tall mahogany trees create a cool tunnel that feels peaceful and refreshing. It’s a quick visit, but the view is impressive and perfect for photos. The place is clean, quiet, and well taken care of. A simple but memorable spot to enjoy nature while traveling through Bohol. Highly recommended.
Wonderful scenery, the people are very friendly they will assist you, especially for celebrations they give extra special greetings. I Love Bohol 💖
The symmetry of the tall trees and the sudden change in atmosphere as you enter the forest feels almost surreal. A quick stop, but absolutely worth it for photos and a moment of calm in the middle of your Bohol trip.
Gorgeous Drive! I feel like I’m in different country. Everything is just Amazing, im speechless 🌼

This well-known monument in scenic surrounds is a statue depicting a famous blood compact from 1565.
Slide 1 of 8
The Sandugo is a very meaningful in bohol I think that is what make bohol a very open and friendly city or town. The blood compact Shrine honors the friendship , unity and diplomacy between the spaniards and Boholano. The roads are not yet developed so be careful especially motorcycle.
The Blood Compact Shrine in Tagbilaran is a small but meaningful historical site. It marks the first peace treaty between the Spaniards and Filipinos in 1565. The bronze statue is well-made and overlooks a nice sea view. It’s a quick stop that you can include in your tour if you have extra time. There’s no entrance fee, but there’s not much historical signage and not much else to see. It would also be great if local officials could improve the road leading to the monument.
The sculpture was transferred to a new location near the coast, few meters from the original site. The new location is much spacious with potential to accommodate more historical structures. There is now dedicated parking area, however the road created to access the site is yet to be paved. There are few shops offering quick bites, souvenirs and photography. There are lots to improve, but overall the experience is great.
It's a nice place to take in history or if you just wanna have a relaxing day at the park. I wish there were more stalls to get food though. There was one food truck when we went, but it was closed-not sure if it's permanently closed or not though. It might be cause it was already late in the afternoon when we went and it wasn't open.
This site is easily accessible and holds great historical significance. It appears they are working to develop it into more of a tourist park, with souvenir trucks and displays of statues honoring important figures in the island’s history. Unfortunately, many of the statues are poorly crafted and not well maintained, showing visible signs of decay.
a very small area containing statues and an amphitheater. place needs maintenance as some statues have fell. Just a nice place for a quick tour around.
Just a statue depicting the scene of the Blood compact. The road leading to the area was rocky and not maintained. There must be a good access to the place.
One of the classic tourist curcuit stops. They moved it from the main road to down by the amphitheater. A few flights down to reach it, or take the single lane muddy road. Decent spot for a picnic in the city.

Bridges
Slide 1 of 8
Originally built sometime after World War II to help farmers cross the river and transport their goods, the bridge has since become one of Bohol’s most recognizable inland attractions. Today, it consists of two parallel bamboo suspension bridges, about 40 meters long, replacing the original single crossing. The bridges are supported by steel cables but still retain the charm of traditional bamboo craftsmanship — they sway gently as you walk, offering a mix of thrill and scenic beauty. From the middle of the bridge, visitors can enjoy a serene view of the river winding through dense tropical greenery. Small souvenir stalls and refreshment stands are located at both ends, and there’s now a ₱50 entrance fee for maintenance. We visited in calm weather — the bridge felt safe, though it moves slightly underfoot, adding to the adventure. The area is clean and well-kept, surrounded by tall trees and the sounds of water and cicadas. There’s a small parking area near the ticket booth that can accommodate a few cars. It’s a short but memorable stop on the way to Chocolate Hills or Loboc.
As for me, who grows in a provincial area with rivers. I can say that it is not impressive for me. We have the same bridge way back home and a lot scarier than this one. But the nostalgia makes me like it and as well as the beautiful scenery that comes with it, the river and the way the leaves of Acasia Tree fell from its branches. I love it. ❤️ We came by motorcycle since we have one. But other people arrive with van, cars, and motorcycle as well. The entrance fee is 50 pesos only. They have a clean and well maintained Comfort Room (CR) on the other side of the river after you cross it, as well as souvenir shops and snack houses. If you want to be photographed, they have a photographer also on the bridge. When we get there, there are only few people, maybe because its Easter Sunday they might be in other places. In addition, Kuya infront of parking lot on the right side have a splendid snack called Kab-kab and he sells tasty and fresh coconut juice. 😊
Super fun and nice local activity. 50 php entry fee. Quirky bamboo bridges that are fun to walk across the river. There was a photographer there. Took nice pics. No pressure to purchase but we like 1 so they printed up for us - cost 150 php.
An enjoyable experience, total time maybe 15-20 minutes. Less if you don't look at the souvenir shops. The bridge feels rickety but I can see it's reinforced by steel cables so I wasn't too apprehensive to cross it. A fun side trip!
Very nice! With great views of the river and trees for only 50 pesos to cross and get back. There are souvenir shops at the end of the bridge, selling shirts and trinkets. We went on a Tuesday afternoon, around 12 noon and there were barely any people.
I'm so happy our driver stopped here - I wouldn't go out of the way to visit here, but luckily it is on the way from Loboc to the Chocolate Hills (or vice versa). For a very reasonable admission charge you can walk across the bridge - if you dare! - as much as you desire, and there are small shops on the other side of the river from the main road.
The entrance fee was 50 pp to go over two hanging bridges. If you go over the first bridge, they will make a photo from you (for a fee) with you on the bridge. I dont know what the price was, but i guess it would be overpriced like many tourist attractions. After the first bridge, there are a couple of shops with souvenirs and local food. There is a nice place for a selfie with the 'I ❤️ Sevilla' board. The second bridge takes you back to the start. Overall, it is kinda overpriced, or I just don't get it. See it yourself if you don't believe me :)
very simple attraction , but worth a visit !! very clean !! helpful and friendly staff

This Catholic church from the 1590s is built of coral stones & has a museum with religious relics.
Slide 1 of 8
Baclayon Church in Bohol is one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines, dating back to the early 1700s. Its coral stone walls, centuries-old religious relics, and antique altar offer a glimpse into Spanish colonial history. Despite damage from the 2013 earthquake, much of its charm and heritage remain intact. A must-visit for history and architecture enthusiasts.
Quick stop at Baclayon Church - still amazed me I’m always amazed by the history and cultural importance of Baclayon Church. It’s one of those places that really makes you think how far back our history goes. There’s no big change since the last time I visited and that was 18 years ago! I remember hearing that the bell tower collapsed during the 2013 earthquake, but thankfully it has now been restored. I didn’t get to go inside this time as it was closed, but still happy to stop by even for a few minutes. The church, built in 1727, is one of the oldest in the country and you can really feel that when you’re there. Short visit, but always worth a look if you’re nearby.
Baclayon Church is a beautiful and historic landmark that’s perfect for a quick cultural stop. Its preserved Spanish-era architecture and peaceful atmosphere make it a meaningful place to pause, reflect, and snap a few photos. While it’s not a long-stay destination, it’s definitely worth visiting to appreciate a piece of Bohol’s rich heritage.
Old church. Nice for visit if you travel around. Just think that women need to be properly dressed.
We made our usual quick stop at Baclayon Church, known as the oldest church in Bohol. The structure is rich with history and character, and every visit feels like stepping back in time. As someone who loves old and historical places, I’m always amazed by its charm and significance.
I am amazed when i got in on the church. the murals on the ceiling are eye catching and will stop to admire.
This is the oldest church in the Philippines. The didn't allow entree for short dress although they have covering clothes available at the entrance
It’s old, grand, and full of history — definitely a meaningful visit. But once you’ve lit a candle and taken your pics, that’s about it. Once is enough unless you're into historic churches!

Had an amazing experience paddling in Loboc with SUP Tours Philippines! The equipment was high-quality and well-maintained, making for a smooth and enjoyable ride. The views along the river were incredibly relaxing—lush greenery and serene waters created the perfect setting for a peaceful adventure. The guides were exceptional—friendly, professional, and well-trained. They made sure everyone felt comfortable and provided helpful instructions along the way. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced paddler, this is definitely a must-try activity in Loboc!
Really enjoyed our 1-hr SUP tour with guide Carlos. The equipment was high quality and the process was fast and seamless. The river was undergoing some maintenance to prevent erosion from typhoons, which took a bit away from the experience but otherwise it was peaceful and relaxing on the water. Litter found a lot in the water (common everywhere in the Philippines unfortunately). Carlos gave excellent instructions and had enjoyable conversations with us including educational information. If we did it again I would do it in the evening when it is cooler rather than in the middle of the day (my mistake). Overall an enjoyable experience.
I had a great time doing SUP with the guide Varen, he is nice with such a good vibe. I did it in late afternoon which was good because it was cooler, the river was quiet and was beautiful. It was my first experience ever and was amazing, would do it again.
An unforgettable and peaceful escape with SUP Tours Philippines 🌿💦 My partner and I did the waterfall tour with SUP Tours Philippines, and it was hands-down one of our favorite experiences in Bohol. The whole thing felt like the perfect reset—especially after coming from more hectic parts of our trip. Paddling slowly down the Loboc River, surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sounds of water and birds, was exactly what we needed. Our guide, Promin, was so kind and warm, and took time to really connect with us beyond just the tour. The instructions were super clear and easy to follow, which helped us feel confident even as first-timers. The team made sure we were always comfortable—they even helped us paddle when we got tired, which we appreciated more than we expected! The waterfall at the end was everything we hoped for: quiet, serene, and completely crowd-free. Just us and the sound of cascading water. Truly magical. And to top it off, we got to enjoy an amazing meal from Food & Fables right by the river after the tour—which was the perfect refreshing end to such a dreamy experience. SUP Tours Philippines gave us more than just a fun activity—it gave us space to slow down, feel held, and really connect with the nature around us. Highly recommend this if you’re in Loboc, especially if you're craving a calm, meaningful adventure. Thank you Promin and the team for taking such good care of us. 🌊🌴
The Best Way to Experience Loboc River! I would recommend this to anyone! I recently had the incredible opportunity to join a SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) tour with SUP Tour Philippines, and it was nothing short of magical! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, adventurous, and deeply rewarding. The team at SUP Tour Philippines is highly professional and genuinely passionate about showcasing the natural beauty of the Philippines. They made sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and well-prepared, even if you’re new to paddleboarding like I was. The tour itself was breathtaking. Gliding across the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by lush mangroves and vibrant marine life, felt like stepping into another world. The guides shared fascinating stories about the environment and local culture, which added depth and meaning to the journey. What stood out most was the personal touch. The team ensured every participant had a unique and memorable experience, capturing stunning photos along the way and even sharing local snacks that gave us a true taste of the region. SUP Tour Philippines is not just about paddleboarding; it’s about connecting with nature, embracing adventure, and creating lifelong memories. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the Philippines from a truly unique perspective. Thank you, SUP Tour Philippines, for an unforgettable adventure. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of your stunning destinations! Beautiful!
We did The full day SUP TOUR on the Loboc River with Vander as our wonderful guide, it was fantastic! Beautiful scenery, peaceful, only a small part where the bigger boats cruise by otherwise totally serene! And an absolute bonus was Vander’s fabulous singing as we floated past the stunning scenery. ☺️☺️☺️☺️ 5 stars 🌟
such an amazing experience!!! exactly what we needed after such hectic tour experiences. so calming and and our tour guide promin was so kind and took so much time to get to know us! if you have a smaller tour you can go at your own pace! well worth the money spent

Our tour guide brought us to the Python and Wildlife Park and the Butterfly Garden. We get to see some taxidermized pythons and other animals. I had to see a variety of butterflies. We were so amazed by the butterfly's pattern and color. The snakes were huge and I'm afraid to touch them even though they are very friendly and there's a handler that will assist you should you wish to carry them for photo ops.
It is worth a temporary stop if you have the time. Guided tours and pleasant walk through a beautiful garden. We enjoyed the Photo opportunities. Not very many butterflies in late July though. Our guide was excellent.
Small place as other people mentionned it on other comments below, but if you take the time to look carefully at the butterflies you can easily spend 30 min- 1hour on the same "room". There are butteflies of different colors and shapes. Perfect small tour for children and adults. We did not take a guide, but rather enjoyed the view of the butterflies on our own. I believe this was better for us, we could therefore take our time on the tour. There is also a restaurant next to the place. Restauration is very cheap!
We came in a wrong time butterflies were less and were hiding but we had a great time with our helpful tour guide who gave us a brief knowledge about butterflies. She was kind enough to take our pictures and we had fun.
Thought our trip to the butterfly farm would be boring that we almost cancelled it. Grateful we are, their farm guide, Kuya Michael, made this side trip sooooo muuuuuch fuuuun! We had a non-stop giggling walk through their farm as he crack jokes consequent to his butterfly trivia discussion. 😄 We also enjoyed his camera tricks like a pro. Highly recommendable!
You'll be amazed by the beauty of nature and how they grow the butterflies... Their tour guide is very much accomodating and funny which makes our tour relaxing... love the photo ops...
The Butterly garden is an enclosure where the butterflies can freely roam and breed. When you visit, their guide will tell you about the importance of butterflies, their lifecycle from egg, catterpillar, pupa, and the actual butterfly, and the types of butterflies that can be found in Bohol Island. They also sell local products and souvenirs from Bohol. There is a section here where you can take pictures of butterflies as if they are a part of you.
Its a nice place, very educative especially to the children and they were enjoying the caterpillar of a butterfly... They have a trick in taking pictures in the butterfly enclosures and you have to try it... The tour guide was very accomodating...

The experience is very nice here , the plunge is so exciting and sadly the day we arrive the swing is not available . Monday when we arrive on 10 am there’s 6-7 people ahead of us for plunge . Each person take 5-10 mins . So still need to wait a bit . They have 12-1 pm lunch break , pls make sure to avoid arriving time around this hour . There’s no limit for weight but they will have you wear the gear to see if your waist feel not comfortable to see if you are able to ride . Only cash allow so pls make sure to bring enough cash . There’s staff can help you take video of the plunge , they are very experienced. It take us 2 hr from alona beach , we book private tour 8 hrs , and this spot need to add another 1700 Php via Klook.
Danao Adv Park is popular destination found in Bohol for thrill-seekers and nature lovers, offering a wide array of activities set amidst a lush and scenic natural landscape. We went there via private car that we rented. We travel from Alona to Danao Adv Park for around almost 2 hrs probably. Went here Friday and the crowd are just fine. We paid for a parking and env fee I believe. I forgot how much the entrance fee is, and rates of the activities are uploaded below as well. My friends were only able to try the Plunge, it was the best activity at Danao. We also wanted to try the Giant Swing but unfortunately, it was currently on repair that time. We tried sky ride, it was fun though. Best for group or family. We did not try some of the rides because we thought some of it were in our hometown so we only availed what we think is extreme. We also dine at their restaurant for lunch. The price and taste is just right for its serving. Definitely recommended if you traveled far.
Drove from Anda to Danao just to cross the Plunge and Suislide off my bucketlist. Definitely worthwhile! A must-have experience when visiting Bohol!
It's a nice experience actually. Unfortunately, the Giant Swing was under maintenance at that time so we couldn't ride it. The thrill is noteworthy.
An adrenaline rush. So cool to fly above a gorge and see a different side of Bohol. Great staff and a fun time.
The staff were polite and accommodating. Rides are more expensive compared to typical parks like Star City, but it’s still worth visiting for The Plunge. The line for it can get very long, so it’s best to go early if you want to ride. Unfortunately, the Giant Swing was under renovation during my visit. Also, keep in mind that all rides are stopped if it rains or there’s thunder, so be sure to check the weather before going.
I had such a great time at Danao Adventure Park! This place had me screaming in joy. Every staff did their best to make us feel safe, and that alone makes me want to come back. Although I don’t think I can do The Plunge ever in my life haha. Tried the Skyride and zipline which were both so worth it. The picture I attached is the view from above, and gosh the greenery is so pretty! So glad I was able to visit DAP. I want to try the Giant Swing next.
An unforgettable day of excitement and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend Danao Adventure Park! delivers an action-packed experience. The ziplines are amazing, and the park is well-managed. Not so much crowds, the fun is worth it.

The superman was very fun and the staff is very friendly. Thank you to kuya who assist us on the starting line and to ate margie for this activity. Will definetly come back to try the bike. Hihi🤭
Had the best experience in Surfing and bicycle as well as superman. Great customer service too! Recommended!
This place is a tourist trap. Fee is 1550 pesos for the 3 activities, zip line bike, superman Zipline, and surfing Zipline. 100 pesos for the pictures. 80 pesos for the entrance fee. The Zipline tower and harnesses are in dire need of maintenance. Workers are manually pulling the Zipline after every tourist without gloves. I asked the workers why the owner didn't update the Zipline with an automatic one and they responded by telling me the owner was too stingy to purchase one. If the owner wasn't willing to purchase an automatic Zipline, would they be conscious of repairing and maintaining their Zipline and towers? An accident is waiting to happen.
We bought a buy one get one ticket unlimited activities for 1550 online. It was an online special. We had a super fun experience. If you go here, you can actually just skip the chocolate hills viewing deck since their viewing deck is pretty amazing itself. We did the forest obstacle course which was a lot better than I expected. It was quite challenging which I loved and the obstacles were extensive but you have an option to only choose easier ones or complete it until the most challenging one. The tarzan one was thrilling! The bicycle zipline was like any other but a bit difficult to bike on. There is some leg workout. The view is great though. You have the chocolate hills. The zipline surfing is a unique take. It doesn't require skill or balancing and you look cool on photos. Be sure to be physically prepared since there are a lot of walking and climbing. Like a lot. The staff are great and well attentive to your needs. We went on a weekend during the afternoon and we almost had the whole place to ourselves. Some points for improvement would be the overall maintenance of the amenities. Some cables we held onto during the treetop obstacles were a bit rusty but functional nonetheless. The surf zipline had to be pulled manually by the personnel for retrieval after every use. Hopefully the management can automate these things and have better maintenance. But still, definitely an underrated place!
Staff was super friendly, and it was a first time experience zip lining via a surfboard and bicycle. Great view of the chocolate hills as well. Would recommend the adventure to friends.
We had the place to ourselves. Nice restaurant and ponds once you walk in. When you get to the top of the zip line tower, you will have a good view of chocolate hills. The photos were also complimentary, but tipping is encouraging of course.
We bought the ticket in advance and the redemption of the ticket was smooth. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They took our pictures and videos which was a huge plus for us. The superman and bicycle zipline was a lot of fun though it rained for a few minutes. The tree top courses were challenging but was enjoyable. I recommend booking the unlimited ticket. Overall it was great!
A hidden adventure-packed gem hidden within the Chocolate Hills of Bohol. Indeed my wife and I enjoyed the amenities here, especially the obstacle course. We were warmfully welcomed by the front desk as we went in, and we were properly escorted to and fro the amenities of the area. We really appreciate the staff as they were all attentive and they attended to our needs with the utmost quality and diligence throughout our adventures. I think it would be better if 1) The amenities are quite old, I hope they could maintain these better. 2) The walk to each activity is quite long, and maybe this would be difficult for other people who'd want to try to do other activities that are at the higher levels (zipline and air biking). If you're around the area and have some 1-2 hours to spare, I highly recommend you to go to their Adventure Park.

The last thing to do in the widely advertised Bohol tour, it’s the cruise on the Loboc River. Once we arrived there, we actually realized that there was a massive queue and we were a bit worried to end up in an overcrowded boat where food was nothing special (we read some reviews about it). So we asked the driver if there was an alternative way to see the river and he brought us 500metres away from there where an old local guy was willing to drive us around with his boat, for the equivalent of 25e. We were on our own, in the sun, sitting on a traditional wooden filipino boat while cruising the river; we literally loved it. Our captain was really nice, he showed us the entire river and in the end he stopped the boat next to a small waterfall giving us the chance to swim a bit (be a bit careful of the current). We definitely recommend the private tour and just as advice: if you don’t do the standard cruise, bring with you some extra sandwiches/snacks because you won’t find many shops/restaurants around.
Loboc River is well-maintained and has great views. We did not aboard the floating restaurant because it’s a tourist trap with overpriced food items.
Such a beautiful place
Beautiful river surrounded by green hills
Good looking river with coconut trees. We didn't do the boat cruise because it didn't felt like it was worthy
the Loboc floating restaurant tour is like that! if someone has arrived Bohol island before lunch time, the floating restaurant can be solutions for lunch meal and taking rest time! they provide generous local foods and little concert on the inside of boat! and also, the boat drops by native village(i think it's not real just immigration)
An absolutely breath taking ride on the river. Live acoustic music and food is also served on the ride. The boat stops at a place on the river where young kids and old people alike perform short local folk dances and it's very delightful to watch. They also include the onlookers to dance with them on the traditional Filipino numbers that is really an interesting experience.
When visiting Bohol, this is a must experience. The Loboc River Cruise comes with lunch package on a floating restaurant and being serenaded by Boholonos music enthusiasts. The 1.5hrs trip is worthy of your time.

Worth a visit. Don't even hesitate. Pull over and get inside. Amazing value for both python tour and butterfly encounter. The nicest set of employees ever. They let you hold a snake for some pesos to get a nice photo of yourself holding a giant snake. Kids loved it. Butterfly side is awesome too. Stay for a bit and don't be in a rush and you can see some cool stuff.
Mixed feelings about this place. While the pythons are certainly impressive, the other animals there are kept in tiny tiny cages with nothing 😐. I would not recommend going to this place as they do not seem interested in the well-being of their other animals. They do have a small butterfly garden which seems nicely maintained, if you like butterflies only visit this part as there are seperate entrances.
If you don't have the fear of snakes or just generally afraid of reptiles then this is a great place for you. They have also butterflies which might be more for you. Here are snakes of all sizes more of them you can have taken pictures with for a price as the picture is printed out for you to take home but they are also open to use your mobile phone after a donation Still i have to write that the condition of how they take care snakes must change To small cages for the animals

Let's bring back the museum-visit culture! It is so good to see that our National Museums are being open to the public regardless of the day, and is free. Happy that this could bring back museum dates, and the love for our diverse culture, more time to understand and appreciate instead of spending time on phones.
Surprisingly well structured museum, fully air-conditioned and even has an elevator. The museum pieces, albeit small in number, are interesting nonetheless. Free admission and friendly/knowledgeable staff. Worth a 30 minute visit!
Since I started travelling, really like to visit museums/provisions that displays anything pervaded the city. One is to know the history though I don't really read all of the artifacts but just seeing them in one depository makes my visit complete. Two is to feel connected and see what are the things to expect aside from just seeing the views. Three is to take some photos for keepsake. It was a great experience. It's just free. A must visit especially for students. Museums are very informative. ALSO, for tourist, if you are planning to buy ASIN-TIBUOK and you want to visit here, they are being sold at the entrance (front desk) and it was sold by SRP as they are direct from the maker.
A Cultural Gem in Bohol This well-maintained museum offers a compelling glimpse into Bohol’s rich history and heritage. One of the highlights is the detailed biography of Carlos P. Garcia, the 8th President of the Philippines and a proud Boholano. His legacy is thoughtfully preserved in this museum. 🌋 Exhibits Worth Exploring Visitors can also learn about the fascinating geological formation of the Chocolate Hills, along with other exhibits that showcase Bohol’s natural wonders, cultural traditions, and historical milestones. The museum provides a well-rounded experience for history buffs, curious travelers, and proud locals alike. 🎟️ Good to Know • Location: Tagbilaran City, Bohol • Entrance Fee: Free of charge • Ideal For: Families, students, solo travelers, and anyone interested in Philippine history and Boholano pride 📌 If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit—not just for the exhibits, but for the sense of place and identity it celebrates.
The structure of the building is amazing. Packed and filled with informative history and culture of Bohol and friendly staff. Captured the entirety and highlights of Bohol.
Title: A good museum you can spend easily 1h here. Interesting information about Bohol. A part is about the ex President of Philippines that born in Bohol and another part is about an artist, the Island and the churches + No entry fee + Air conditioned + Clean and safe + Near another attraction the Church you can visit both - Difficult to find a parking place - Mostly havy traffic because the Museum is on the main street ************************** Explanation of my votings + Pro - Contra o Only for your information 5 Stars: It was really special, you must try it 4 Stars: It was nice, you should try it 3 Stars: Nothing special, you could try it 2 Stars: Try only if you have no alternative 1 Stars: Bad, don't bother trying ->>> To understand... Why do I give 5 stars so rarely? Out of over 360 ratings, I realised that there are no businesses that are 100% perfect. I rate businesses in relation to an area, such as a city and the surrounding area. Most businesses in an area sell similar products of different qualities, and I rate these products up to a maximum of 4 stars. Therefore, I decided to give 5 stars if a business in this region has a unique selling point. This could be a unique product, an awesome view, or cosy surroundings that set them apart from other businesses in the area. Even if their products are not perfect, I can still give a five-star rating if there is something special about them. ->>>
A nice place to visit when you are in Tagbilaran City, spacious for its size and is full of artifacts that are related to the province of Bohol. Very clean and the staff are very accommodating, a must-visit if you can go.
Worth a visit! The National Museum Bohol is small but packed with information and fascinating artifacts. It made me appreciate just how rich Bohol’s history and culture are.

This is a very quiet and beautiful church in a very busy area of tagb. The insides are amazing and there must be some great history with the bell tower. I wish it was open to the public. The inside is incredibly ornate and a great place to relax and ponder life in the middle of a hot Bohol day.
Amazing church 😍 Each angle, section, even the doors and windows are expensive and luxurious works of art.
The st joseph cathedral is so beautiful and the outside is clean and the people is nice with everyday choirs
Paris in Tagbilaran was founded in 1595 by Jesuit missionaries. The original church was razed by fire in 1798. The church was reconstructed and enlarged from 1839 to 1855. The convent and the tower were constructed from 1884 to 1888. Due to the 2013 Bohol earthquake, the exterior and interior of the cathedral had undergone major reconstructions. The church was very crowded on Palm Sunday.
Visiting St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral Shrine was a spiritually enriching experience. The cathedral's stunning architecture and serene ambiance create a peaceful space for reflection and prayer. The intricate details of the shrine and the beautiful stained glass windows contribute to its sacred atmosphere. Attending a service here was a truly uplifting moment, with the community's warm welcome adding to the sense of unity. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral Shrine is a place of solace and reverence, making it a must-visit destination in Bohol.
I love to visit the Church when we travel. Its a place to thank God for bringing us to Bohol. Its one of the beautiful and old church I've visited. Some of the photos are taken on the candle lighting area of the church.
this place has a magnificent interior design. the moral on the ceiling is majestic and makes you feel like your in Rome. the place offers a car park for those who has vehicles. although the exterior part of the cathedral may look old but that is what makes the cathedral look authentic.. the candle area is loceted beside the cathedral which also has beautiful statues of Jesus, Mary, Jospeh, etc. right next to the candle area is the rest room which is clean and oderless... overall, i love the place and would plan to visit here if i ever come back to Bohol....
Historically rich and culturally beautiful church, located at the heart of the city and serves as the seat of the Diocese of Tagbilaran. Recent renovations were on going during a visit and looking forward on seeing it when it's done.

A beautiful church and another example of the Hispanic-Filipino style. It was built far from the beach to prevent attacts from the pirates 🦜
San Pedro Church is commonly known as Loboc Church. The parish was established in 1602 and the present coral stone church was completed in 1734. Due to its strategic location, it became the center of the Jesuit mission in the Bohol area. In 1768, after the expulsion of the Jesuits, the town was transferred to the Augustinians. Church was severely damaged by earthquake in 2013. Its restoration began in 2017 and was completed in 2021. The church is classified as a National Historical Landmark and a National Cultural Treasure.
Whenever I visit a new place, I try to stop by a local church. It’s not just about the stunning architecture or rich history — it’s also about learning a thing or two about the people. This church in Bohol quietly tells a story of resilience after the floods. And the Holy Door? Truly an amazing sight.
Excellent experience! It's a very well-kept church.
This century old church withstand numerous calamities and natural disasters.
I love visiting churches during my trips. But this one deprived us to go inside the church itself, not once but twice. 😝So, before going, better check the time when it is open for public. 😌 Oh! They conduct mass outside the church. God bless your trip.
Very historic looks like they're doing some renovation but look like the earthquake damage that cracked in and half
The church is classified as a National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines. It was severely damaged when a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Bohol and other parts of Central Visayas on October 15, 2013. It is being restored now. But the remains suggests that the church is indeed old.
