We had a nice talk with a lady who seemed the manage the dyer's garden but besides her there were few other people to talk to about life back in time. After our visit we followed a recommendation from the last at the cash register and walked for 10 min to see the fortifications (impressive) and the inner city of Oldenburg.

It look very autentic, clean and it is fantastic quiet. It can be a bit boring for kids if parents have no knowlage about the age and can't tell them about it. For any other person who has a good imagine, watch and enjoy it.

Negativ: Das Haus hat teilweise Fuß-bzw. Gasheizung. Im meinem Einzelzimmer war die Fußbodenheizung, die, obwohl die Außen- Temperaturen bekanntlich recht niedrig waren, komplett aus oder eventuell sehr sehr niedrig eingestellt war. Auf jeden Fall war es viel zu kalt im Zimmer. Das gleiche gilt auch für das sehr kleine Bad. Erst nach Tagen wurde die Temperatur etwas erhöht, reichte aber nicht aus. Einmal gab es nur kaltes Wasser. Das Zimmer an sich war okay. Zimmerreinigung auf Anforderung. Überall hängen Regelungen, was der Gast nicht tun darf/sollte. Nur Barzahlung möglich. Der Verzehr kann nicht aufs Zimmer geschrieben werden, sondern muss jeweils sofort beglichen werden. Freundliche Anfragen, ob im Frühstücksraum ein Teelöffel oder Trinkglas mit aufs Zimmer genommen werden könnte, wurden komplett abgelehnt. Zusätzliche Dinge z. B. Weiteres Kopfkissen, Handtuch o.ä.
