Great, intermediate-level climb with stunning views that make every step worth while
Absolutely beautiful. The hike wasn't too hard and was about a 35-minute walk. I parked my car near the church, and used the vineyard path to get to the volcano.
The path starts few meters to the left of the church. It goes up softly through the vineyards and it gets a bit steepper towards the end. Way up and way down from the road are about 35 minutes each way. From the top beautiful views of the volcano caldera and the wineyards below.
Absolutely spectacular views from the top. The cater ridge is partly difficult and iffy to walk. You can't complete the whole rim and have to descend over a very steep lava slope. Rim only for experienced hikers.
Great small hike up to the crater of the volcano and not as busy as other volcanoes. There are a few parking spaces at the start of the trail or at the church but it can be difficult to find a spot at busier times. The hike starts with an even surface through the vines and gets more uneven and steep further up. Walking shoes are recommended. Reaching the crater shouldn't take more than 30-40 minutes. Walking around the rim is not allowed - however, I saw people ignoring the stop signs and climbing further up.
Great free short hike to top of volcano that you can look into. Approx 40 mins walk to top from the church Head to Ye and park outside the church. With your back to the church turn right and walk along the road approx 50 metres to a gravel track which is on the right, and before you reach the properties. On the right there is a gravel track which has a white painted concrete stumpy post either side. Just follow the track. Definitely worth the effort. Wear trainers or similar. Not too difficult at all but need to be able bodied. See my pics to spot the entrance.
Wowwww, we parked at the church and walked to the 4km marker which is west from the church. Its then a somewhat easy 30min walk to the rim of the volcano. The last 100uards is fairly steep. Do make sure and where proper shoes, no sandals etc. The view was amazing and we are so glad we made the effort
One of the best and easiest Trekkings in Lanzarote. You can park in front of the church of the village of Ye. It is about 35 min from the church to the crater. you can also climb on the top but take precautions in case it is windy

My partner and I went to this bodega on a whim a few days ago and stayed over 2 hours. As there were no other visitors we got a personalized tour through the vineyards plus a tasting. The young man (Juan Pablo, I think) was a great guide and made the whole experience so much fun. The 4 wines we tried were all good. We especially liked one white one which we bought (and rebought a few days later to take home). The vineyard itself is on beautiful ground with a nice view. I rank it among one of the best visits to a vineyard (for my taste). Will definitely be back next time I'm on Tenerife.
Came by without a reservation and were instantly taken on a very nice tour of the compound with interesting facts and bits. The wines were all very good and the snacks a good combo. Had to take some home with us. Prices are even better than at a supermarket for the same bottle.
The wines are fabulous! Do the tasting. The staff were so helpful, and the wines were delicious. We left with 6 bottles! Put it on your list of must visit vineyards in the north.
Thank you very much about tour and tasting. New guy who started in September was really awesome. Price was decent. 5x wine bottles (2x 6,5e + 2x 21e + 1) + tasting of wines was around 140e including tip. They were speaking English as well!
The location is easy to find with google map. Staff who welcomed us is an intern but is very informative. The entire experience is awesome and the staff is very welcoming. The tasting of vermouth and wines are great and interesting. Food pairing for the wine is out of the world, highly recommended! We ended up getting 2 wines (one red and one white) as well as a vermouth home!
A lovely wineyard with a great variety of local, endemic grapes. Juan Pedro was an amazing guide showing and explaining the whole wine making process - and also vermouth and vinegar! They also have a restaurant with a great view. We definitely have to try during our next visit.
El Lomo winery is easily a 5 star experience! I would go again and strongly recommend. We were taken care of by Juan Pedro who was a wonderful sommelier/host! This winery uses everything they grow and is owned by locals.
We had maybe the best wine tasting experience of our lives here. Juan Pedro was a fantastic sommelier/host! I've been to probably 20 wineries and the experience here was top tier. If you're lucky enough to have Juan looking after you, then you are in for a fantastic educational tour and wonderful tasting!
