From the outside, the bird park appears small and old, yet within it is really large and home to hundreds of bird species similar to those big bird park. The birds are in good health and very active. Remember to spray anti mosquito repellent. Overall 9/10.
Reach there around 14:30pm. Drive from bukit Mertajam . Very worth it to visit. All the birds so beautiful & special . Cause we never see before . However the ticket slightly pricey but I can say no regret visiting . Bought souvenir home a hair clip with hornbill shape . Recommended
Visited on saturday morning. Ticket was quite pricey. Every drinks, ice cream and snacks sold inside was pricey. Quite disappointed with the condition. Most of the birds are not well maintained as some lost their feathers obviously, rabbits all sick with visible wounds on their bodies, dirty green ponds attracts mosquitos and we were asked to buy the mosquito repellent from the counter if would like. Price is Rm 18. Some of the birds are unique and the white macaw can actually say hi was quite impressive. Lots of empty cages and not happy birds. Sick animals. If they improve the park with some efforts, it will be a nice place to visit with kids and will worth the pricey tickets.
Interesting places to visit. But price of the tickets is bit pricey. Malaysian local adult price itself about Rm50 each. Large place to explore but not so clean. But kids will enjoy well.
LOVED IT THERE! So relaxing, very interactive, interesting, and just fun. We easily used a solid 3 hours there. Well worth it.
I recently visited Penang Bird Park and was excited to see the variety of birds, especially the African Hornbill, which was a highlight for me. However, I was deeply disappointed by the overall condition of the park. The environment is not well-maintained, with stagnant ponds and dirty water attracting mosquitoes. Many birds appeared unwell-some with feather loss or visible skin issues-and the ostrich seemed isolated and had an eye disease. Some birds were showing signs of stress, and certain enclosures were far too small for their occupants. For example, the eagles were kept in cages approximately 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide, which is clearly inadequate for their size and needs. Upon entering, there was a small photoshoot opportunity with a Bay Owl, but sadly, the owl looked sick and frail. It was heartbreaking to see. To make things worse, the photo wasn't included in the RM50 entrance fee for locals-it was priced separately at RM30 to RM50, which I feel is not worth it at all considering the conditions. For such a high entrance fee, I expected much better care for the animals and better maintenance of the park. I sincerely hope the management takes steps to improve the conditions for the well-being of the animals and to provide a better experience for visitors.
Nice time with the birds. I'm not sure what was happening, but I could hear some birds screaming. Hope it is alright. It's been long since we went for such a trip, so I have to say it was great. Of course not as good as a complete zoo, but good in its own way as they focus on birds as the name suggests haha
My recent visit to the Penang Bird Park left me feeling quite disappointed, primarily due to the park's condition relative to its high entrance fee. The current ticket price feels steep, and the experience did not justify the cost. We expect a premium experience when paying premium prices, but the value for money here is lacking. It felt like we were paying for a highly-rated attraction that is, unfortunately, past its prime. The main issue contributing to this feeling of poor value was the noticeable lack of maintenance throughout the park. Many of the enclosures and public areas appeared neglected, with worn-out paint, overgrown sections, and general signs of disrepair. This poor upkeep not only detracts from the overall aesthetic enjoyment but also raises concerns about the habitats provided for the birds. While the bird collection is still impressive, the state of the facilities made the visit less enjoyable than it should have been. The park urgently needs significant investment in renovation and consistent maintenance to justify its current pricing structure. Until then, potential visitors should be aware that the park currently offers poor value for money.

Found a haven of pre-loved clothing on the ground floor called Otto Bundle where you buy by weight instead of per item. Some treasures can be found here for a steal. It's fun if you love digging through vintage clothes. Every RM50 purchase gets you 1 free ice cream voucher redeemable on the spot a few steps away.
More on electronic gadgets and cheap clothings on ground floor. Entertainment such as bowling, and cinema is at the 4th floor. Main anchor tenant is Pacific Hypermarket at lower ground floor. Very light crowd on Sunday. Visited 2025
This used to be a hit landmark place. Now it's more of a mall with vintage characteristics *hint* Pertama complex 😂 Kfc and McDonald have been temporarily closed down, but the bowling lane, cineplex, watson, the hypermarket are still holding strong 👍 Quite lively on the weekends especially the ground floor, with people along with shop buzzing. I hope it will restore itself to its glory days status, if only a karaoke franchise set foot here 😏
Well....the Mall considered 'deserted' after COVID-19. Only a few shops are still operating. It used to be my favorite shopping mall. Pacific Mall is still open where you can look for branded handbags shoes & perfumes. It's sad to see not as many buyers as before.
After more than twenty years, many of the upstairs shop units remain vacant. As they are individually owned, revitalising the area is challenging—unless an investor recognizes its potential and transforms it into something vibrant.
Mostly deserted and shops are closing down. There used to be two fast food outlets before. They are also closed now.
Good enough. But at the second and third floor not crowded. Sometimes I feel like afraid if walk lonely in up stairs especially in near place for see a film
Feels like being back in early 90’s Creepy vibes..but still ok if you don’t like crowded places, then this will be the place u should go

We recently stayed here for a few nights. The hotel is located in quite a secluded area, but it is very near to a Hindu temple. On the day that we visited, we were lucky to witness a Hindu festivity taking place. Staffs are friendly, but sometimes they would disappear and customers would have to ring the bell to alert them. The decoration is really nice for a budget hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised. They prided themselves on being the cheapest and best in Seberang Perai area, and while that's debatable, we do believe that the cheap part is true. Despite the loud noises at night due to renovations, we had a really pleasant stay here.
I do not advise anyone to stay in the hotel. The reception was very bad and the management even worse. The hotel is very dirty and has many insects and worms inside the room. Its building is old and there is a bad smell throughout the hotel. I booked 3 nights but had to leave at night because I couldn't stand the stench of the hotel. The hotel is located in a dark, scary area, and all tourist attractions are approximately 30 kilometers away. Nice experience.
When we checked in. I have to pay rm50,i gave 100 but no change. So he kept my rm100. U are hotel business should have change money. The receptionist is foreign worker that cant speak malay. It would be hard for those cant speak english . The communication is quite hard i used simple english "no water supply" five times he couldn't understand. So frustrating! The room was very terrible. No ventilation in the bathroom, the bathroom door cant be locked. Th water faucet is broken. The water from toilet is overflowing. Thus the most basic thing such as welcoming tea/coffee packet was not supplied. At night, the water shortage happened, should be the hotel have water tanks reserved for the service. The water kept playing around. But the receptionist cant understand me!
Just to rest your body when you are tired after working (outstation), it is ok, but for a long stay, not recommended. The lift looks like it has been a long time already not functioning. Reception does not even say thank you when you check out.
When we checked in, and wanted to go to our room while we waited for the lift, the receptionist told that the lift is under repair 2 hours ago and have complained to the lift company but until the day we checked out,the lift were not functioning. In the room, the bidet is broken. Bed is not a comfortable one even for a cheap hotel like this the bed was not good. We found cockroach and ants in the room and room was dusty. The TV was also not functioning. TV brand and remote brand provided is totally different. This hotel is located in a rural area and the location is also quite scary and dark. Could hear people walking and talking the whole night. Not sure if it's people also. Could not sleep the whole night. Not visiting here again. Worst experience ever. Avoid this hotel at any cost.
My worst experience here.. Highly NOT recommended for family with small kids. The water heater in Family room terribly not service n proper maintenance.. The hot water was okay in early n suddenly turn very hot n burn my small boy skin n have rushed to clinic on that nite.. They simply come n check n said all normal only..
Work Trip - Room with Window, room space bigger, fast check in and all okay and price reasonable. Stay for 3days 2night.. 1st sense its was, OMG hotel ni macam "Keras" je, hahah..but okay lah dapat lelap and rest a fews hours..
Bad service.... We called and the lady say can reserve even though we ask do we need to bank in any deposit, she say no need. Three days before the date, calling and telling the room are not available.

Hare Raama Hare Krishna ☘️ what a beautiful temple 🛕 so blessed to be here. I wanted to visit this divine place for a long time. Finally with krishna blessing been here. Guys, pls spend some time in vrindhavan garden, such a peaceful place.
There is a real feeling of tranquility when you enter the grounds, something quite calming which I have never felt before when visiting a temple. There is a garden at the side for people to contemplate in. Opened in 2015 by the society for Krishna consciousness. It has 3 ornate domes and 2 glass domes.
A magnificent temple situated in harmony street seberang jaya. They have a gallery that is Open to public and if you lucky you get a guide to show you around and patiently explain the history of the Hare Krishna and the way of life. If you come on their epic Sunday lunches. You will be treated to the best vegetarian food serving.
In this iskcon bhagwan name Radha Krishna kanhaiya,Visit this temple, get Radha Krishna kanhaiya's blessings, chant and be happy
Superb devotees was humble as usual and the Temple president was very friendly and accommodating....all should pay a visit. They even have elevator to the temple hall.... really great
What a wonderful blessing we've got. It was a surprise gift by my husband on Valentine's Day 2023. I wanted to visit this divine place for a long time. Finally My husband brought me here. He just brought me and we found out that they are going to do some offering and about to close in 5 minutes. We managed to got a blessing from the great Lord RadhaKrishna, on a beautiful day. What a divinity vibes that we felt and very welcoming by disciples who offered us a (sweet prasadham) to eat and gave us some temple tours and stories. Spent some time at Vrindhavan garden. What else could we ask for to completed our Valentines Day. Thanks to my husband and thanks to the respectable disciples. 😇
It's soooooo beautiful, if we go there will get positive vibes
Having been in Seberang Jaya a couple of times, the hometown of our relatives, this time I made it a point to dropping by at Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple. Serene, calm and akin you can feel god's presence, we also meet some of the volunteers. Humble down to earth people, who offered us breakfast, but since we had limited time in hand, we politely declined. After saying our prayers, a must each time I am in a place of worship, we walked around to glimpse at this temple. Recognized as the grandest Krishna Temple in Malaysia, this three-storey octagonal temple is as pure as god, as we walked we viewed the 16 ornate pavilions with three main Puti style towers and two glass skylight pyramidal domes in the centre of the temple roof. We also didn’t miss out on the other buildings, including the Bhaktivendanta Cultural Centre that organises Food-For-Life distribution programmes and a variety of community, welfare and religious service, and the Bhaktivedanta Multi-Purpose and Cultural Hall, which is a four-storey building with a 5,000 sq ft hall and performance stage.

Great Bowling experience asking i asked the front counter,They are using a competition bowling alley with a good condition oil pattern
Old school! Been here again after almost 15 years and surprised to see it’s still here and they even renovated the place! We 4 person played 2 games for RM120 excluding shoes rental and socks, still ok I guess
This bowling centre is located at the highest floor of the shopping mall and it was slightly creepy on my way walking to the bowling centre as it was far off from the busy area of the shopping mall. The cashier was a bit arrogant and talked like a boss to us when we wanted to buy the games. The machines of our lanes was jammed at least 5 times during our games. Gratefully, their workers were helpful and quickly came to fix the machine.
The proshop owner, Victor doesn't know how to communicate with customers...so disrespectful and rude... We did a purchase before and didn't realise there is balance that we should settle...When we visited the shop they acted out violently
We went here at 1pm, the place isn’t that crowded. The place is okay, there is no much food choice in here when you get hungry while playing. The billiard kits are mostly broken. Not really worth it
Worst customer service ever, call multiple times no pickup and straight away unplug the phone cable to not receive any call.
Worst customer service ..they not even entertain the customers well
