Nowhere to go and all day to get there, so I hopped in the car and took a ride I’ve always wanted to take. Up the PCH and into into Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and cruised down Sunset Blvd at sunset on a Saturday night. These pics do not do the actual view any justice whatsoever..
Nice place to see what you can see Be safe out there Kinda dangerous in someplaces at night
What a great fun area to visit or live.. Lucked out and picked the Super 8 Wynman to stay at.. Decent views and great location! Plenty to see and eat taking a walk on fairly level ground.. Going in some directions from motel.. lol… I’m 68 and still was able to keep up.. lol.. Yes, there are some homeless tents set up along the way. But, they aren’t going to jump out at you..lol… You can blend in pretty good here and really get a feel and vibe… It’s not for all I guess, but it’s up my alley.. Fun!!!!
The street smelled like urine but there were some sights to see. Not worth spending time there, but maybe driving through.
The Sunset Strip—specifically the stretch between Doheny and Fairfax—is the real iconic LA boulevard. Out-of-towners often make a beeline for Hollywood Blvd expecting magic, but end up with grit and tourist traps. The Sunset Strip is where the camera-ready version of LA actually lives and breathes. Start at Mani Brothers’ 9200 Sunset Blvd, one of LA’s most recognizable high-rises, home to Soho House and BOA Steakhouse (where deals and martinis go hand-in-hand) and nearby 9000 Sunset home to elite movie industry office and Forward One Real Estate—because yes, even real estate has a little swagger on this strip. From there, cruise past The Roxy and Whisky a Go Go—two of the most storied music venues in America—and onward to the Comedy Store, where legends are made and egos are broken nightly. Chateau Marmont looms like a gothic Hollywood fever dream just up the hill. The billboards? They’re not ads, they’re declarations. Art installations for the fame economy. And the street life? Peak Los Angeles. Where talent scouts, TikTokers, washed-up rockers, rising comedians, and producers with too many phones share the sidewalk. There’s a pulse here that doesn’t exist anywhere else. It’s walkable, it’s photogenic, and it’s layered with enough cultural history to make even jaded locals stop and look around once in a while. If you want the LA you imagined, not the one from airport souvenirs, this is it. The Sunset Strip is the movie.
Took a fun ride with my daughter to show her around.

Lodging with Old Hollywood glamour, plus a pool, an intimate restaurant & an elegant cocktail bar.
Slide 1 of 8
A historic gem with a touch of old Hollywood charm. The building’s history and character set the stage, and the courtyard is a serene spot to relax. The food is very good — but it’s the service that truly stands out, especially the front desk team, who make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. A place where hospitality meets history — worth a visit whether you’re staying or just dining.
I made a reservation at the Chateau Marmont restaurant two weeks in advance, as required. I went out of curiosity and out of respect for the place’s history — even though it’s obvious the restaurant is completely outdated and falling apart. From the moment we arrived, it was a disgrace. We were greeted with attitude by the doorman, and then by a tall, expressionless host who didn’t even bother to fake politeness. He simply told us — with zero apology or explanation — that the table we reserved for dinner was not actually for dinner. The place was completely empty, yet he offered no solution, no alternative, just a dismissive look and a cold shoulder. The building is literally crumbling, the energy is depressing, and the staff clearly couldn’t care less. Thankfully, we walked out and ended up having an amazing dinner elsewhere — with great food, warm service, and zero pretension. Bottom line: I’ve traveled the world and dined at top-rated and hidden gem restaurants alike, but I’ve never been treated with such arrogance and neglect. If you have any other option nearby — even a street cart — go there instead. This place is nothing more than a rotting, self-important dump living off past glory.
Just stopped in for brunch. Absolutely great food and drinks. Service was top notch. If you aren’t staying here, don’t try to walk around the grounds to look around, they will escort you out very quickly!
Stopped at the restaurant for a great dinner. I got the bolognese and my friend had the pasta vongole. Both were amazing. Good ambiance, good date night spot. It’s a scene.
D isappointing Experience Despite Nice Ambiance We had breakfast here — the food was okay but nothing special, and the prices felt totally unjustified. We were initially served tap water, but when it was refilled, they replaced it with Acqua Panna without asking and charged us over $13 for it. The ambiance was pleasant, and the outdoor seating area with heaters was a nice touch, but overall, the experience didn’t live up to the cost.
What more needs to be said about the legendary Château Marmont. I often love visiting this place in the late afternoon for a drink and a few snacks before starting my evening. The staff and the ambience is second to none and I highly recommend coming here for a date. It’s the perfect place to go. They also are known to spoil my two Frenchies.
I had a big T&A budget so I decided to stay here on my work trip. No one who works here is friendly. This is expected. I got the impression everyone was in a competition of impressing each other. I stayed in the garden cottage which is a blandly furnished cabin. Whatever. Found a goddamned juul pod on the floor in the bedroom, and no I do not own or use juuls. But I’m glad whoever previously stayed in the cottage that I was charged $4600 for had a blast. At checkout, I was never emailed a receipt that I confirmed I needed. Waited a few days to be reimbursed the $2000 incidental hold. I was then reimbursed the full $4600 (the hold fee & the amount of my stay). The next day the full $4600 was deducted from my account. The day after that, an extra $1800 was deducted. Did I stay in a glamorous juul free penthouse that I wasn’t aware of? It wasn’t until I called them that they clarified there was a system mistake and that they needed my card information again in order to reimburse me. My question is, would anyone have contacted me had I not called? Really weird experience. I’ll leave this place to the 1% who live to impress each other.
One of the kindest members of their wonderful staff is Bill on the night shift. He always makes sure everyone stays warm and gets home safe at the end of the night!

I love this theater and its convenient location so near to my home. The AMC Sunset 5 is a 21 & over venue which means you can purchase your popcorn and an adult beverage at the same counter! Hand sanitizer is provided, masks are required and every surface was spotless. I highly recommend a flick at this trendy cinema in the same shopping center as a late night sushi spot, just before the Sunset Strip.
Went for spiderman movie. They are checking vaccination records and also we need to keep wearing our masks throughout the movie. You can keep it down only when you are eating. The screen is good, also the sound as well. The only issue we saw is that they gave us 3hr parking validation for a 2hr 40mins movie with all commercials. So we had to pay $2 as we crossed a min from the validation time. It is not that much but the point here is why not 3hr 30mins validation so that people can comfortably leave the theater, instead of running to catch the parking validation
Very cool old school basic movie theater with all the essentials and they even had "bar type appetizer s" with beer and wine selection. Parking in the lot with 3 hour validation made arrival and departure seamless.
A bit of an older theater with no frills, but it's easy to get in and tickets are always available. It'd be nice to see them upgrade one of the theater rooms to IMAX or Dolby some day. The location is nice and not too crowded, and they validate parking which is great.
This is my favorite theater, probably because you need to be 21 or older, so it's a nice escape from kids. You can park in the parking garage underneath and you can validate at the theater for up to 2 hours. I was there for over 3 hours and paid $4 with the parking validation. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking and take the elevator up to the top floor. I tend to only go to the movies on Tuesday nights as it's $5 if you are an AMC stubs member. The theater serves alcohol as well as has a full menu, hence the 21 and older. I've gotten their chicken tenders which were surprisingly juicy and tasty.
Enjoyed a nice Christmas movie with my family. Convenient parking. Nice place. FYI Its an over 21 movie house.
Very friendly staff and probably the most comfortable theater I've ever been to. Lots of room with little tables every two seats so you can get cozy. Made me wish theaters were dog friendly so I'd feel even more at home. Bathroom was meticulously clean.
Beautiful Movie Theater. Just went here for the first time and was very impressed with the theatre. It’s very clean, the seats are large and comfortable, there’s room to walk, and a nice little table on the side of every seat. You might want to buy your tickets ahead, but you definitely don’t want to pay with cash if you don’t buy before you get there, because there’s no one in the ticket booth to take cash and they have to get someone in there if a patron indicates a desire to pay with cash. My only complaint was it took awhile to get the food people in place, but it was a weekday and very slow so it wasn’t surprising they didn’t have a lot of staff just standing around waiting for customers. They have a number of special programs and promotions to keep prices down and keep people coming back. They also validate your parking ticket for three hours, which is great because parking is very expensive in this part of town. For the theatre use the parking entrance on Crescent Heights. The entrance on the other side of the mall is very small and has nothing available when I went in there.

Beautiful home/mansion. Interesting history told of the Doheny family and their "neighborhood" by the docents. It must be nice to be so rich, although much was given to charity, too. We had one guide for the grounds, then a different docent for inside the house (tour includes the first floor only). Ended in a room with a great glass roof (where musical events are held sometimes). Knowledgeable guides made for an interesting morning, while the fineness of the architecture and furnishings made the tour a treat for the eyes. Well worth the $15 per person fee, which goes for the upkeep of the home.
I met with Her Majesty Queen Clarise Renaldi of Genovia at this consulate. We discussed pear exports with Portugal and France over tea. The setting was beautiful and provided for a relaxing afternoon.
Beautiful, peaceful campus. Made me want to look into enrolling. There is an entrance guard. You can’t just drive by.
It as great to see the house, but the guides were a little sketch. The woman who gave the slide show obviously didn't look at the slides before the presentation, and the woman who gave us the tour of the house speculated on a piece of information that was easily confirmed as false by a two second internet search.
Beautiful campus, "A Xmas Caroling" & "Xmas Dancing Festival Lessons, and Songs". campus, great staff and rich history... 11¹¹¹
Beautiful place full of beautiful art.
Beautifully preserved home and well maintained establishment. The dome ceiling is beautiful when the sun shines through it. Love my school ❤ & special events hosted there created such fond memories.
Very nice place to tour. Great history and the architecture of the mansion is beautiful. Truly a highlight of the tour. We have been to the Doheny Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills and it is just as interesting. Advance reservations and prepayment is required.

A 14 foot 700 pound statue paying homage to the wonderful cartoon personalities of Rocky (the flying squirrel) and Bullwinkle (the moose). It had been on Sunset Boulevard since 1961 before being removed in 2013 for restoration and then placed in its new location (also on Sunset Boulevard) in 2020 near Dialog cafe (5-stars).
This Hollywood landmark is a whimsical statue of a cartoon moose and his pal, a flying squirrel -- just something to put a smile on your face as you drive by. But there's a lot more to it if you know the story. The Rocky and Bullwinkle Statue was unveiled (by none other than Jayne Mansfield) in August, 1961 as part of a massive Hollywood block party at its original location on 8218 Sunset Blvd. Jay Ward and Bill Scott, the creative geniuses behind the animated series 'Rocky and His Friends', organized the affair as publicity for the release of 'The Bullwinkle Show' on NBC that year. Bill Oberlin, a local artist, crafted the statue as a parody of a bikini-clad cowgirl statue mounted on a pedestal across the street to advertise the Las Vegas Sahara casino. The statue was intended as a temporary installation but for over fifty years Bullwinkle and his friend Rocky rotated atop their pedestal, occasionally getting a fresh coat of paint to match the cowgirl's bikini when it changed colors. The Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons went into syndication -- beloved by a generation of children for the fast-paced silliness of the animation and by their parents for the irreverent wittiness of the dialog. Over the decades, many of the people and institutions the show parodied (notably, the Soviet Union) filmed their final episodes. So too closed the careers of Jay Ward, Bill Scott, and the legendary writers, voice actors, and animators who collaborated with them -- Paul Frees, Hans Conried, June Forey, Allan Burns, Chris Hayward, Bill Hurtz, Roy Morita, and "a host of others". Beginning in March, 2020, after a six-year break for renovations, the Rocky and Bullwinkle Statue is back on display at its new location. A statue that Jay Ward once described, tongue-in-cheek, as his "cultural contribution to the city of Hollywood" has actually become just that. This offhand but enduring statue stands today as a tribute to the talent and creative energy of a generation of Americans and a reminder that there are things worth cherishing about our shared past.
As a Cartoonist you must pay homage (it's required) to moose and squirrel 😎
It's great to see Rocky & Bullwinkle out as they represent fun!

Worth the hike to the top. Park in the neighborhood near the innsdale drive trail and walk from that direction. Went on a weekday and lots of space to park. Hike is fairly steep but not difficult and worth it for the views and pictures!
I took these photos from the side of the Griffith Observatory. My zoom isn’t the best 😬. Staying till after sunset, I don’t know why but I thought the sign illuminated - it didn’t. It would be good to see it glow, even if just for a short period of time. I am not sure if you can get nearer but google maps gave me this location. Enjoy. The Griffin Observatory is a nice site and park walkway. 💫
I visited the Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, and it was an unforgettable experience! The drive through Griffith Park was scenic, and the panoramic view of the city from the top was absolutely stunning. Seeing the iconic white letters up felt surreal — a true symbol of LA’s magic. I recommend going early in the morning or near sunset to avoid crowds and catch the best light for photos. A must-visit spot for anyone in Los Angeles!
Love the Hollywood Sign. The view was amazing.. 🫶🏼 Just make sure you parked your car before you arrive your destination. Because it hard to find parking when you get closer to the sing. Also make sure you wear comfortable shoes 🥲😃 You will need to walk a little bit
The Hollywood Sign is definitely a must-see when you’re in LA! It’s such an iconic spot, and seeing it up close feels unreal. I walked all the way to Lake Hollywood Park, which is an easier route it took me around 40 minutes, and it was totally worth it. The view from there is amazing, especially during sunset so gorgeous and peaceful! It’s a great spot to relax, take photos, and just enjoy the LA vibes.
What can I say that hasn’t already been covered? The views are majestic, the hike is tough but enjoyable. And the atmosphere is just great.
Yes, it's touristy, but it is still cool to see. Very steep hills with tight curves and oncoming traffic to get up there. Still worth doing though
Seeing the Hollywood Sign in person was an incredible moment! It’s one of those iconic landmarks that makes you feel like you’re truly in the heart of the entertainment world. The view from the trails was amazing, and it’s a perfect spot for photos and taking in the beauty of Los Angeles. A must-see if you’re visiting Hollywood!

This building is absolutely fabulous! This was the location of my very first apartment at age 19. Oh, the hilarious shenanigans I had with all the wacky, wonderful men who lived there. I remember one older gentleman had invited me over & just as I was about to ask him why he had countless holes in the ceiling of his kitchen he popped the cork out of a champagne bottle which made another hole as he poured me a glass of the bubbly nectar. Next, I followed him down the hallway to his bathroom where hs was filling the oversized tub. He picked up a large bottle of Vitabath and squirted an alarming amount of pink gel into the bubbling water. Soon, the tub filled with a luxurious landscape of endless white suds & the most delightful fragrance. I went back to the kitchen for a champagne refill and as I headed back to the master suite I realized my entire pathway was completely blocked by a solid WALL of suds moving down the hallway, right for me, at a frightening pace. I called out to my host to see if he was ok...hoping he hadn't been consumed by the 'bubble monster'. There was no reply although it would have been difficult to hear him over the thundering roar of the jacuzzi running at full ßpeed.. Oh dear, I murmered, I'd better run on home now before this gets any worse. This was in 1978
First night in the penthouse in Los Santos 🤑🤑🤑 We waiting for Lester Crest for a Heist
I’ve lived at Eclipse Towers (now Sierra Towers) since 2013, and it’s been unforgettable. I’ve seen street heists, SWAT teams shutting down the road, and even watched someone fly past my balcony on a rocket bike like it was just another Tuesday. That’s life in this city. The apartment had a sleek, modern vibe. I spent way too much decorating it, but it became my personal sanctuary through every version of myself. Wild nights, quiet mornings, and memories I’ll carry forever. Now it’s time for a new chapter. I’m officially selling the condo and moving to Vice City in May 2026. I’m ready for different energy, warmer skies, and a fresh start. Thank you, Los Santos. You were chaotic, beautiful, and exactly what I needed. — A woman who lived through it all
Great place to live and plan out a heist too. Crime was out of control since 2013 with lots of bored young men gunning you down as soon as you walk out the door or drive out the garage but things have calmed down a bit. The views of Los Angeles especially from the penthouse units are incredible though.
I lived here for a long time in the Eclipse tower before moving over to East Vinewood. I planned heists, stored cars, had friends over for drinks – and it was always a blast. You can see in my video a BF Bifta driving in front of the Eclipse Tower. Jokes aside: for all GTA fans, this is a must-see. Experiencing it in real life is truly unforgettable!
This is where i used to live and plan my heists in GTA V. This penthouse gave me a lot of ROI already.
if i was trevor philips i would move here real fast, and fire rockets at michael's crib all night long
Great place! me and my MC had some great heists planned there, the penthouse is rad! The view of Los Santos is gorgeous and it's not too far from ammu-nation! Also, it's really close to the LS car meetup so I don't even have to walk a lot! Great!

Friendly staff, comfortable condos, beautiful views, large heated pool, amazing gym, quiet street in the West Hollywood heights. 24 hour valet parking and door person. What more could you ask for?
I agree with this person in this review comment.!! I used to delivered packages for this building and the security guard was soooo rude.!! They forgot from where they came from.!! They're just a workers in need of the money so you should be respectful and humble with others.! The same respect you give is the same respect you will get back.!!
If you are thinking of living in this place, just remember that security guards and also some people who work in this building are rude and do not give you proper treatment. I don't even think it's worth it to have very rude staff and pay so much money bad service And I'm going to make sure that friends, people that I know , and even people I recommended to live here I'm very disappointed and alsoJust for taking out my phone and recording the behavior, this security guard almost hit me.
I can never go back...I was leaving late one night from my buddies get together at Shoreham. I will forever believe I saw the ghost of Alexander Godunov roaming the hallway and disappear around a corridor. I didn't know until after the fact that he died in this building and the floor I was on.
Love the vibe. The pool and spa area is amazing. Feels like vacation every day. With 24 hour valet and views to the ocean Shoreham is hard to beat.
Was going to return some tools to a friend and I was denied entry by the front desk attendtant. I was told that since I have tools with me I have to wait until 9 am to go see a friend not only that but he was very rude to me and the valet employees

Great to see James Jarvaise exhibition!
Fabulous art gallery that always presents first class exhibitions.
The best gallery for California hard-edge masters. Benjamin, Lundberg, Feitelson, McLaughlin and contemporary artists in that tradition.
Beautiful, intimate gallery without the bad attitude some galleries take on. Great work, and pleasant staff. The art is traditional, generally abstract and we'll displayed. Well done!

Went in with the family and staff was supper friendly, nice place to show off movie props. Everything is for sale we enjoyed seeing the names of stars who had worn items. Great place to buy and take a look at when you are in Hollywood.
Nice place to pass the time or pickup a item or two. Prices are reasonable. Features a small cafe. The staff is very welcoming. Air conditioned too.
Company used to be fantastic. Great props great service. Now who knows what’s happened. No contact, no support, no product. Ordered some pieces from their website back in November. No products have arrived still. No contact even after numerous emails. Tried calling just no answer. Can someone please contact me and I will stop annoying you about it. All I want is my products or a refund.
I placed an order back in the middle of april. I have attempted to contact them via every source possible including their disconnected phone numbers, website, email, Facebook, Instagram, and through the shop app. This company is a scam they will not respond in anyway nor have they reached out to me to attempt to refund my money or send me my item after over 4 months. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this company as possible. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
I ordered on their website. The items went out of stock and they canceled my order but didn't refund shipping. I emailed them several times and never received an email back or a refund. SHADY! Buyer Beware!!!
Absolutely loved this place 😀 Purchased some lovely things from movies and TV. Friendly staff. Look forward to visiting again when next in Los Angeles x

what a cute little gem. Stationary that is unique. With the coolest people that work there. Frank, Wanda, Lina always helpful. Special orders done and always open to customers input and needs. Its hidden so don't blink you'll miss it. I'm adding a few pictures of this spot. Highly recommend.
I spoke with Laura on the phone and she was not helpful at all! Very condescending. I am calling on my supervisors behalf at CBS as we were notified of a recent death. We were looking to make a fast but sincere purchase and I hoped Soolip would be the perfect store for that. Laura put a bad taste in my mouth where I'd rather keep looking for a store that carries 6x 8 cards. She needs training on customer service. Didn't ask to speak to a manager because it's not necessary. Just wish I got someone with a little more compassion. Laura, grow up and try and be a bit more helpful. Outstanding performance! "Famous". It was written just ahead of real exposure to sexual and emotional abuse in the industry. But most importantly, fantastic acting. Moving like live theater is meant to do; inclusive art that renders identification and realization of things we formerly prevented from surfacing and naming. A great venue and space. I'm hoping for another 90"s dance party there!
Excellent show! FAMOUS will be famous soon because the buxz is an outstanding performance by the entire cast. Well done! ☺
