Not from this state so I am thrilled to say, this is a MUST when visiting PA. Parking-Free, Beach-Free, Park-Free, bathrooms by beach are decent. You have changing rooms and showers. It's clean and beautiful environment. Definitely a great place to visit with family and friends. If you want more private beach, go to Beach 8. 10 am until 2 It's just peaceful.
We had a quick stop before heading home. Beautiful park! Definitely want to come back and explore when we have more time. There are 6 different beaches entrances, 3 different piers, ferry rides and even a park. Beautiful!
Presque Isle State Park is an absolute gem along Lake Erie! The park is beautifully maintained, with clean restrooms, plenty of walking and biking trails, and several gorgeous beaches to choose from. Beach 6 and Beach 8 are the most popular, offering calm lakeshore waters perfect for families and a relaxing swim. My favorite is Beach 10 — the water there is crystal clear with open waves, giving it a more adventurous and refreshing feel. It’s a fantastic spot to just sit back, enjoy the breeze, and watch the waves roll in. Best of all, entry to the park is completely free! I highly recommend bringing your own food and turning it into a picnic — it’s the perfect way to spend a day by the beach.
Presque Isle was magnificent! I’m sure it’s super packed on the summer, but ours was a fall visit and while it was busy, it was not too bad! Great foot and bike paths. Lots of beach area, the water was great and the lighthouse didn’t disappoint even though it was closed. This was recommended from a friend and I’m so glad we went! Definitely worth the trip if you are within an hour or two drive.
This is seriously one of those places you visit and cznt wait to come too. Super safe, there's always rangers/ law enforcement driving around. Clean, with lots of garbage cans and restroom areas. I grew up around Lake Erie and I still get pleasantly surprised at how clear the water is at these beaches. Great place to grab Primanti Brothers and spend the afternoon.
I suggest everyone go! Beautiful views, nice beaches, clean, and a lot of areas for parking and easy access. Nice drive, beautiful fall colors, and lots of small things to do. Playgrounds, bathrooms, and parking all year. We were able to get out and in easily. Found lots of seashells and my littles had a blast. Take extra clothes, kids don't care if its cold!
It is absolutely beautiful here. I love view. It's nice sand to walk in, we had a great time! Free to go, and you can rent boats. I think they are pet friendly as well. I didn't go anywhere other than the beach area, so I'm not sure about restrooms, picnic areas, or playground.
The water was very shallow at beach 7, only up to hip height on an adult. We considered bringing floats but I was glad we didn't. I don't know for sure but we saw nobody using them &after being told we couldn't pass a pool football in the water I doubt floats would be allowed. Not the lake adventure we're used to &not what we were looking for. Beautiful area &you can see through the water all the way out to the buoy perimeter.

I took my kids to Splash Lagoon, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a fun-filled day. The water park itself is amazing—tons of exciting slides, a lazy river, and a huge wave pool that kept my kids entertained for hours. The water was warm, and everything was clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even better. My kids especially loved the tipping bucket and the indoor-outdoor hot tub! There were plenty of seating areas for parents to relax while the kids played, and the food options were surprisingly good for a water park. We grabbed some snacks, and everything was fresh and reasonably priced. Overall, it was the perfect family outing. My kids are already asking when we can go back, and I’m more than happy to plan another trip! If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly getaway, Splash Lagoon is a must-visit.
We had a wonderful experience. Even with different schools visiting the lines went quick. Everything was extremely clean. The only thing that I would say is that certain staff would let my daughter go down the sides by herself, as she is 48 in tall. However some staff when they switched over would not let her go without an adult. Other than that, there was so much to do. Not only is there a water park, but there's also an arcade. And there are lots of food courts and Quaker steak is attached to it. Play kids also love looking out over the balcony at the boogie board place and the wave pool. And they had so much fun at the boogie boards, and the instructors were so sweet. If they fell off too soon, the instructors would let them have another turn.
We had a great experience. A few things to keep in mind when visiting, take your own towels. It is a Cashless resort as well. Not a ton to do for your older kids/adults to do but still able to have some fun. The staircase for the water slides is a tight squeeze with inner tubes that all use the same stair case with 3 lines. All in all had a lovely experience, not enough lifeguards for all the areas. Definitely look for the best deals when going to enjoy the most for the least!
Found an amazing deal online! Included 4 passes for 2 days and an overnight stay! Staff was super friendly, facilities all very clean, kept the floors in bathrooms dry, and lots of places to sit. No long waits for slides and great kid area. Lifeguards watch and do their jobs. Arcade is huge. Only thing is food prices are a little steep.
Had a great time at Splash Lagoon with the family! It’s a classic indoor water park in Erie and perfect for kids and family members of all ages. Plenty of fun attractions, clean facilities, and a great way to spend the day together. Highly recommend for a family outing
Comfort Inn & Suites Erie 8051 Peach St, Erie PA 16509 Check-in: Nov 1-2, 2025 6 rooms on floor two- Issues found in EVERY room: * Black mold on shower curtains & ceiling (photos attached) * Whirlpool tub filled with brown slime & hair - staff unplugged it, refused to clean * Hallway trash piles untouched 24 h * Shower drain clogged - no one could bathe after pool My 6-& 8-year-old slept 3 feet from visible mold. Hotel GM offered only 5,000 points - no cleaning, no apology. Request: 1. Immediate health inspection 2. Force deep-clean or temporary shutdown 3. Public report so other families are warned
SENSORY DAY 2025 (Friday May 16th) We took advantage of sensory day at Splash Lagoon. They had a special rate for an overnight stay. We were able to stay overnight and 4 passes to the water park, plus we bought an extra pass because we are a family of 5. Check in day you can arrive as early at noon for the water park and 4pm for your hotel. Check.out day the Waterpark opens at 11am for hotel guests only and noon for everyone else, you are welcome to stay all day. Destiny, at the Wyndham front desk, was so professional and efficient. We got our wristbands and headed over to the Waterpark. We found the Waterpark to be so clean, the staff was plentiful and accommodating. This place is very well run. There are alot of lifeguards and they are very focused on the water and safety of the guests, but not rigid. The food at the café was about $12 per meal, burgers-pizza-hot dogs-fries-chicken tenders-ice cream. There is so much seating you will not have a problem finding a seat. Tables and chairs as well as pool chairs by the wave pool. There are bathrooms located throughout the park, changing areas, family changing as well. There are lockers to rent at a kiosk, very easy and affordable. **you do need your own towels, they do not provide them at this location ** The hotel was pretty nice for what we paid. Our room was on the 5th floor. We had 2 queen/full beds as well as a pull out. Plenty of pillows and towels. There is a jacuzzi tub that was big enough for me, my 8yo and 5yo to soak in together. We had a coffee table, and eating table, a desk, a swivel tv, a mini fridge and freezer, microwave and a small bar area with a coffee pot. Breakfast was your usual free breakfast. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffle makers, juice, fruit, breads. Lots of coffee. There was a ton of room to eat in the breakfast bar. The staff there were hustling and getting everything cleaned up as guests turned over. Overall, this was a great stay.
Took our kids there as a weekend getaway and they absolutely loved it! They are talking about making reservations again they had so much fun. Their favorite thing to do was the surf simulator, the staff there Saturday was great with kids encouraged them to do their best followed by high fives and the urge to try again! All staff seemed friendly, restrooms and changing rooms were very well maintained and clean, floors we're kept as dry as possible to prevent fall hazards. We will definitely be going again

This is such a great place. The value is awesome. We bought season tickets and are from new york. In some ways it reminds me of crystal beach. You can see the lake on most of the rides. The water park is big . It has alot of tube's and the wave pool. The staff is unbelievable. My husband is handicapped. He is a little slower getting on some rides. Staff had incredible patients and helped him tremendously. They didn't make him feel like an inconvenience. We rented a wheel chair. At the end of the night . They thought nothing of taking him straight to car.
My family's first trip to Waldameer Park in Lake Erie, PA was surprisingly enjoyable. I got discounted tickets from my local township municipal building. The combo ticket for the water and amusement park was just $42. I was a bit let down that the park operates entirely cashless. When I got there, there was plenty of parking available. I have to admit, I wasn't too confident in the bag check-in process for entering the water park. It seemed like visitors' bags weren't checked thoroughly because I spotted someone in the wave pool area casually sipping from a slightly hidden glass mini bottle of vodka while lounging on a chair. I went on a less busy weekday, so the lines for slides and rides were minimal. The prices at the concession stands were quite reasonable! The park was well-kept, but the yellow jacket problem was pretty intense! The concession stand in the water park had only 2 registers open, even though it could handle a lot more customers to avoid long lines during the midday rush. All in all, the park is really nice and has a little something for everyone!
Waldameer has always been our favorite park. Family friendly, always clean and rides are well maintained. This Family owned park is a one of a kind experience. Lots of newer rides, plus some nostalgic favorites! I absolutely adore Waldameer🥰
Great park enjoyed a Sunday with family and all the grandchildren. We did water park and rides then back to water park and more rides. Food was good and park was clean. It was very busy but was a hot day. We had a good day. Would come again.
If you get the chance, GO! Bring your own cooler in, $40 for an adult person , free parking. We had a great time even though it was 95 degrees 💕 There's a white sand beach on Lake Erie and a casino as well
Great amusement park! Lines weren't long even on a beautiful Sunday in the summer. Fun assortment of rides, dog (and cat!) friendly with dog water fountains. Every vendor we asked for ice to put in our dog's water bowl were so kind and friendly. A good time for all ages!
We had a fantastic family day at Waldameer, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a fun, affordable, and family-friendly amusement park that doesn’t feel like a chaotic mega-resort. We didn’t do the water park this time around, just stuck to the dry rides, and it was more than enough for a full day of fun. Our kids (ranging in age from toddler to tween) all had a blast. The ride selection is surprisingly diverse for a smaller park—plenty of options for younger kids, some decent thrills for the older ones, and even a few rides we could all enjoy together. The park feels nostalgic in the best way—clean, safe, and not overly commercialized. You can actually relax and enjoy yourself without being bombarded by ads and upcharges at every turn. One of the things we appreciated most was how accessible and accommodating the park was for our whole crew. Grandma came along with us but didn’t plan on riding anything. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that non-riders don’t need to pay admission, which is a huge plus. She got to walk around with us, take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and even sneak in some snacks here and there—all without feeling like she was paying just to be a spectator. That’s something most theme parks wouldn’t allow, and it made a big difference for us. The park is really well laid out, with plenty of shade, benches, and places to rest—great for grandparents or anyone who needs a break from the sun. Lines were reasonable, staff were friendly, and it was easy to navigate with our group. We didn’t eat much at the park, but there were plenty of food stands around with fair prices (again, a nice change from most parks). And being able to bring your own food or leave and come back with your hand stamp is a huge bonus for families trying to stick to a budget. Overall, Waldameer is the kind of place that feels like it was designed with families in mind. It’s charming without trying too hard, affordable without cutting corners, and just an all-around great day for kids and adults alike. We’ll absolutely be back—and maybe next time we’ll try out the water park too!
This is an great park for younger kids or individuals who enjoy smaller rides. The price is great for the combo ticket and the waterpark was really enjoyable for adults and kids alike. The park is small but the layout is confusing. I noticed that the ride operators and lifeguards were not fully attentive. The wait time for rides can be super long even if the line doesn’t look that long. The employees are slow to get everyone on and off the rides. It is cool that you can enter the park without a ticket and even choose to pay per ride. We got food at the food stand near the wave pool and the wait was 30 minutes long even though there were only 5 people in front of me. The flow was awful but the food was decent. We encountered a few rude guests but nothing too major. I would probably return but I preferred the waterpark over the normal park.

Very clean casino plenty of non-smoking and for the smokers there was smoking sections as well. There was a wonderful steakhouse attached to the casino. Every 10 minutes or so you heard a jackpot siren 🚨 There was plenty of table games and there was no drama. The atmosphere was nice with good lighting. Club rewards were fun and for new members you get a free spin on the wheel for free play. Tons of slot machines and up to date ones with all the flashy lights and tons of progressive jackpots to be won. I had a great time.
Absolute shit I literally waited 25 minutes for an employee to come to the machine and retrieve my voucher. It literally took me talking to 4 different employees before one decide to stop at my machine. The payouts suck, the casino sucks and the lack of staff sucks! Not to mention, the bar upstairs closes at 10 p.m. What a joke! I'll never be back to this place. Reminds of the Weirton Casino... Probably same owners. 25 minutes for this!!!
I’ve been to Presque Isle Downs Casino a few times over the years, and it’s definitely changed a lot. These days it feels like the entire place is packed with slot machines — I don’t even think I saw a roulette table anywhere. If you enjoy slots, it’s fine, but honestly, you can get a similar experience online. The only real advantage to playing here in person is that the machines are constantly being played by different people, so sometimes you might get lucky and hit a payout right after someone else has been playing the same one. It’s not a bad spot, but it’s lost some of the variety and atmosphere it used to have.
My first time here from Buffalo. Casino is very nice..games are a nice change from what Im used to seeing..The restaurant upstairs was very nice..horse track views was cool becuz they were racing the day i was there. My steak was good..I still dont like the smoking inside of a big open space. Smoke travels..I think they should be behind glass doors like Batavia casino. The cafe could have more options than what they do. Idk if that was strategic to force people to go upstairs and eat but thats my opinion.
Stupid security personnel forced us to park at this parking lot a quarter mile away knowing one of us is handicapped. There’s no safe access from here for us. The sidewalk is a trip hazard with broken drains on it. Never again.
Stopped in on Sunday didn’t come to gamble. I am a motorcycle rider. It was nothing but a ride and enjoy some lunch. Very nice waitress that we had. She took care of us.
My wife and I had a wonderful 24th anniversary dinner at the LBV Steakhouse. The food was delicious! Wendy our server was fantastic. Craig the manager was cheerful and even Daniel head of all of the Casino's restaurants made a stop at our table. Thank you for a truly 5 Star experience!
I was backed off playing blackjack because the security considered me as an advantage player. Well, my bet wasn’t at crazy sizes but they still ask me to leave the table. Still, it’s a nice place that has friendly staffs and locals. Had a great time there being the only asian around.

Pretty small zoo compared to others, but i figured it would be. They had a lot of feline friends!! Which was my favorite; Lynx, Lions, Sandcats, Spotted Genet and Leopards. Lots of others! Only $12 admission. They also have train rides, a carousel and activity/play areas for the kids. Great place to take the family if you don't want to get overwhelmed with too much walking.
A fairly small zoo and not a lot of animals presented. But I can say that the natural aesthetic feel and the habitats were great, some small but the natural feel of their habitats were well thought out and as well as all the pathways. Probably the smallest gift shop I have seen in a zoo but still had decent items. Would recommend if you only wanted to spend about an hour at a zoo.
Such a lovely little zoo! A nice variety of animals. The displays have been updated since our last visit a number of years ago. Knowing that they just received the support of Erie Events, we look forward to seeing more animals and improvements in the years to come!
This was so fun. it was $12 to get in and if you want to ride the train or the merry go round you have to pay and extra $4 each but you don't have to do them. The whole zoo is just big enough to walk and explore in about 3 hours and there is a playground for kids too. Perfect size zoo!
So most of you won't believe this but at the age of 58 this is my First time at a Zoo and We couldn't have picked a better one. My wife and I were in Erie for the day looking for something to do and she said, Let's check out the Zoo!! So glad we did! Admission was reasonable, it was easy walking and plenty of places to sit down! Seeing the animals was awesome! We loved it! So glad we visited!!
The Erie Zoo is a charming destination with a diverse animal collection, thoughtfully laid out for easy navigation. The animals were lively and engaging, especially with our kids. The pricing is a great value, particularly with their Sunday afternoon free specials. However, we were disappointed to find the train ride wasn't operating during our visit. For a smaller zoo, having all attractions available can enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the concession options were limited on weekdays, so we relied on our packed lunch. Despite these drawbacks, the animal exhibits were well-designed, offering great viewpoints. We'd definitely visit regularly if we lived closer.
If you are an adult, it will take about 2 hours to see all there is. If you have kids, about 4 hours, bring lunch and make it 5 hours. Totally worth the price of admission. Splurge and go on the train ride. On hot days, the animals are lounging as expected. Feeding time is where they are most lively. It's worth visiting the Kangaroos and Wallabies. Be careful to keep your kids from jumping on them. They are out in the open. Have extra funds for the concession stands if you or the littles want ice cream or other junk foods. There aren't a lot of animals but enough to enjoy the day.
The Erie Zoo is such a fun place. We visited in May, while the Glow Wild Chinese Lantern Festival was happening. I'm not from Erie, but I have many childhood memories of visiting the Erie Zoo. In May, we decided to bring my 8 year old son to the zoo for an impromptu visit. We are so glad that we did! The Glow Wild Lanterns were beautiful and walking through the zoo at night was really fun. We actually saw more animals than we expected. The Erie Zoo is a great place for family fun. I was happy to see the zoo thriving. I hope it's here for years to come. I'd definitely love to visit with my family again.

We were greeted at the entrance by towers of Automatons, learned about issues Lake Erie faces like plastics and invasive species, climbed the observation tower, and watched an amazing film about Space! Except for the film the Enviromental Center is free! The staff there was friendly and very patient with my active children.
Discover the rich history and diverse species of the Presque Isle area at this engaging stop. Be sure to visit the gift shop and enjoy the stunning lookout from the tower.
Our toddler loved it the little children discovery center. Free to enter would be perfect for rainy days. Was nice to play on little playground outside. Also we got our PA stake park book stamped at the information booth for erie bluff and presque isle .
We stopped here on a Sunday morning in September on our way to Presque Isle state park. We only came here because we saw that they had an observation deck. You take an elevator up (or you can take the stairs if you choose) and it’s a nice view - we saw some turkeys. The rest of the center has several interactive exhibits and learning opportunities. This would be good for kids. We looked around a little bit but didn’t stay very long. We got a map of the park from the front desk. The people there were friendly and helpful. There was no cost to enter and no fee for the observation deck. There was plenty of parking and no line to get in.
Outstanding display and educational activities related to Presque Isle and Lake Erie. Observation tower with extensive views, massive 6,500 foot screen theatre with quality shows and interactive activities for children and adults. This is an Erie gem
On this trip to Erie, we made it to the center before closing hours. The tower view of the lake was lovely on today's crisp blue-sky day. On the second floor, there was a very nice display of mixed medium artwork by a fairly local artist to view and/or purchase. The display of "lake memories" from my generation and older reminded me of Sundays spent on lake Erie (by Buffalo) with extended family. Loved it! Very helpful, friendly volunteers and staff. I just wish they ran the last showing of the film closer to closing time. We missed the last showing by minutes but still had 90 minutes to tour the center.
Tower was cool and it was awesome for them allowing this to be free. Museum was neat. They only compliant would be the crazy faucets in the restroom. Not sure how someone can wash their hands properly with having to hold onto the metal device for water to come out. No way you are able to clean your hands, more like spreading germs to everyone.
Amazing and educational FREE center! So many displays full of history and information that is so valuable. Whether you are a visitor to Erie or a local, this place is like a museum that anyone can enjoy. I loved going up the tower to see the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding areas. The employees/volunteers here were so nice, helpful and gave us tons of useful information. Can’t wait to come back on my next trip to the area.

"Two Larry's and a Bob" - these guys made for a great experience, not only for my husband the museum enthusiast but for me who is the complete opposite. We were able to see all the exhibits, watch the corresponding videos, and listen to the group teachings in about 1.5 - 2 hours. I actually learned a fair amount of history during this tour and enjoyed the time there. The overall atomsphere was welcoming, educational, and a little funny- can't go wrong with the occasional dad joke lol. Going to a museum is usually the last thing I'll do for fun, but I'm glad I did this time! Go support the cause and learn some history before the ship sails, you won't regret it!
This museum is 1 of the coolest museums I have ever been to. If you are ever in Erie and want to learn about naval ships, Lake Erie, and the War of 1812? You can go no further. There is so much information about it and how the city of Erie came to be. It amazed me in the view at the back of the museum of the USS Niagara. The back of the museum has a dissection of the frigates during the time of 1812 inside and out. I haven't gone to the 2nd floor, but I have yet to go back and finish. It's worth going back.
A lot of great information on the history of the battles on the great lakes. It was pretty cool that this building used to be a power station and they left one of the main generators in there for you to view as well. Decent size for a museum but it's just what you would think of any museum, great knowledge of history. I can definitely say I did not know hardly anything about the naval battles until I visited here, but now I do.
This museum is absolutely wonderful. The exhibits are interactive and well created with plenty of artifacts. There is a life size replica of the Lawrence with real cannon and bullet holes! The museum also offers tours of the Flagship Niagara, but that was not available when we visited. The museum gift shop is also closed as of writing this review so plan on going to another store for local merchandise.
Excellent history for America’s Navy in the Great Lakes from the War of 1812 to the transition to the Coast Guard working with Canada to control our border. Do not miss the outstanding art work and photos showing the US Coast Guard on the mezzanine. In addition to the historic displays, also excellent exhibits on how sailing ships determined depth and speed.
Awesome experience! I did not expect a guided tour, but Ron, our guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of the maritime Erie. Fascinating and educational. Today was the first day they started doing the tours, so I was fortunate to be in the group. Would have loved to sail on the ship, but it's under repairs and will be operational next year. I'm happy to have picked a quiet Sunday, so it was not busy, and there were NO NOISY KIDS, so that was a plus! Definitely recommend if you around Erie. 🫡
Pretty cool place. I enjoyed it. Interesting videos to watch at various stops, tons of amazing history!
Awesome maritime displays and great information. Really loves how the tour was laid out in the time line and gives you a great idea of what happened to the ships stationed in erie. Staff and volunteers were friendly and very knowledgeable. If you like military history this is definitely a great place to check out. Don't forget your AAA Card, we saved $6.

Very nice. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the view was. You could see everything from up there. They have a viewing machine, which was super good. The employees were super nice and generous. I would have missed out if I skipped this wonderful viewing tower.
A beautiful tower on the end of a pier with a small restaurant and gift shop at the bottom. It is in a nice location with many things to do nearby and multiple boat tours are available on the pier as well. The views are the main reason to go up to the tower and they were great, could see over as far as you could see on lake Erie and the entire bayfront. They do have an elevator so you don't have to walk up all those stairs lol. I would recommend stopping by here if you are in the Erie area.
Beautiful views!!! Definitely worth the small fee. We noticed it when we were at the maritime museum but had run out of time so we went the next day. Good for all ages. Loved the elevator after the stairs at the land lighthouse!
We came here on a Sunday afternoon in September. We bought tickets onsite and there was no wait. The cost was $6/person. A staff member took us to the observation deck in an elevator. Not sure if there are steps to walk up if you choose to or not - it didn’t seem like that was an option. The view from the observation deck was great. Looking at the website and seeing some other reviews, it’s unclear to me if there is a second observation area. If there is, no one told us about it so we missed it. I don’t remember seeing any elevator options to go up any higher. Parking was easy. There was a shared lot and there were plenty of spaces. It was a very nice day, I was surprised there weren’t more people here. We enjoyed this visit.
This was a fantastic stop on a motorcycle trip back to Ohio from Watkins Glen, New York. For a $6 fee, you can take the elevator up to the viewing deck at 136'. On a clear day, (which we had) and the use of their articulating binoculars, you can see 70 miles due north to Port Dover, Ontario.
I mean it's a tower with an elevator (thank goodness) but it did have excellent views of Lake Erie. And the staff was really nice and seemed excited for us to be there.
The Bicentennial Tower in Erie is a great place to visit. From the top, you get a beautiful view of the lake and the city. It’s definitely one of the must-see spots in Erie, PA
Ticket price was $6 per adult. The views were nice. Elevator was fast and there is an indoor section at the top of the tower for bad weather.

Wow is all I can say….. I was completely blown away by how busy this mall was. It almost felt like I was having a flash back to the 90’s, LOL From the moment I parked and myself, partner & 2 boys were walking in… you saw kids and parents, picking and dropping off kids and teens and it was almost like a mad rush just to get inside. Once we got inside, wow!!! So busy and so many thriving stores. It was such a relief to still see a busy thriving mall. That’s a rare thing to see now days. I get that Erie is a cold wintery place to be and live, which doesn’t leave much to do. But whatever you’re doing, plz keep it going and keep it alive. There’s so many stores and I don’t think I saw hardly any empty ones. My kids were just as blown away as my partner and I were. They can’t wait to go back again someday. We don’t live in the area, and we visited Erie for a weekend adventure. Needless to say, they can’t wait to go back and visit again. I didn’t get many pix, but I got a couple odd ones. One inside Spencer’s at some t-shirts, a Skechers window walk by & the entrance to the round 1 & 5 wits.
Lots of parking and clean on the inside. The smoking pits and arcade game rooms are long gone. The new Round one arcade even has a bowling alley. There is a small play area for younger children inside. Decent variety of shops and anchor stores.
This is another mall thats still going strong with a near full tenant occupancy. Malls are on a rapid decline across the US but this one is still finding ways to go strong with a large variety of stores present. There are all the usual mall stores with some new and local stores in the mix as well. A great way to spend an afternoon wandering the mall buying a few things🙂
Traveling in from Syracuse NY. Really solid mall here. Went on a Friday afternoon. Mall was quiet, appeared to be clean, great selection of stores. Little bit of everything no matter who is with you. Definitely going back!
I love malls but, Hot-Topic kinda sucks tbh. but, BoxLunch SUCKS too. For Your Entertainment is wayy better than those stores (kinda.) I always like cute and anime stuff, sooo 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ At least, one of it had some cute pastel dresses/clothing?????
JESS AND LANDEN WERE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL WITH MY NEW PHONE! I WILL DEFINITELY BE SENDING THEM A BOATLOAD OF REFERRALS!!! THIS IS THE BEST STORE EVER...AT THE MILLCREEK MALL.
Nice location and right off rt. I 90 or turn at rt 79 north. Easy in from many sides. Close parking and easy access to all stores. Very clean place with many variety of stores. The food court had a nice choice on food tastes. Prices are same as other Malls. Clean restrooms and nice room to move if in a wheelchair.
This store offer wine tasting right up my alley. The guy was very informative, friendly, polite and professional. He told us a very interesting story about man that had sixteen children by one woman. Wooooo Lawd help this woman anyway that's all I remembered lol. I'm a lover of sweet wines. He suggested the Strawberry wine and it was sweet and delicious.

Beautiful set of trails, playground, and picnic pavilion near the nature center. There are a variety of programs for all ages and the trail is interpretive with scalable QR codes to learn about the flora, fauna, and history of Asbury Woods. Definitely worth a visit seasonally, as the water levels in Walnut Creek vary and the trails are well maintained and easy to navigate.
I haven’t been here since I was in grade school. Over 15 years ago. The trails are all marked clearly and easy to navigate. I love how you can self tour the property. You can stay on the boardwalks or venture off. The “tour of trees” was A Nice addition to the trails. Also the nature building was very clean and interactive. It was nice to see the different set ups there and the info they provided about each one. Lastly I love that is self guided at your own pace. Seems like it would be a great place to let the little ones run it out and still get close to nature. We saw These two babies today. They seemed to not care that we were Even there. Cool 😎
Really super cool place to visit. The parking is free visiting inside the center is free. There’s a little play area for the kids to explore in the back of the building. I love how the trails have wooden walkways. You could even take your baby here in a stroller.. there’s also dirt trails as well you can venture farther off into, The trails are marked very well, and they each have their own little name recommend to anyone.
Loved it, lots of trails, and animals to see. Lots of different trails.
Great hiking and biking area if you're up for the full length. A good 2 to 3 hour hike depending on your speed.
Stopped during a trip to stretch our legs. Oh my goodness...this place was amazing!!! A nature center with restrooms and gift shop, garden, nature trails that are VERY well kept and easy to navigate. We even saw Eyore's house!
Absolutely hands down my favorite place to hike or walk in the woods! There's plenty of parking lots and spaces, dog friendly, bathrooms during season. Gorgeous views and a pretty well kept trail with signs makes Asbury the best in this area. Many benches along the way to rest or have a romantic moment 😆. Oh, and don't forget to stop and enjoy Walnut Creek and the Grandmother tree!
Such a nice hike. Much of the greenway trail had mulch. About 2 miles in and 2 out. It was very easy to follow. We ended the hike by going off the trail and found a waterfall ...slightly to the left of the fern moss loop. Just follow the creek. The boardwalk trail was a much shorter loop, and very easy to use. Would highly recommend for strollers or wheelchairs.

Presque Isle Lighthouse (Erie, PA) If you’re looking for a beautiful, affordable family stop — this one checks all the boxes ✅ We started our day at Presque Isle Lighthouse, tucked away in the heart of the state park. For just $8 per person, we toured the lighthouse and got to explore the restored keeper’s house — packed with local history, stories, and charm. Honestly, I could’ve stayed another 30 minutes just in that section alone! The climb to the top is steep (as expected with lighthouses), but the views are worth it. The beach nearby had amazingly soft sand, crystal-clear water, clean restrooms, and picnic tables — perfect for families. 🏖️ We also found a few scenic pull-offs throughout the park to take in the lake views, and the gift shop had affordable souvenirs that help support the park and lighthouse. 👉 Travel Tip: Tickets and bundle tours can be purchased right on-site. No need to plan way ahead. Sometimes the best adventures are the simple, low-cost ones that spark curiosity and bring everyone together. Highly recommend adding this to your next family road trip! 🚗🌊
Made the relatively short drive from Cleveland Ohio to see this Lake Erie Lighthouse and was rewarded with the opportunity to tour the Lighthouse including a view from the top for a small fee of 8.00. This is the 10th Lighthouse I've visited over the past 25 years and first I managed to climb to the top. It is a climb so expect a tight space to the top. Well worth the effort. Staff very friendly and full of local history of the Lighthouse and the area. Spend all day hiking and enjoy the beach views with a tour of this Lighthouse.
We came here on a Sunday afternoon in September. We bought tickets onsite and there was just a short wait - maybe 5 minutes. You get your ticket in the gift shop then head over to the lighthouse. They are right across from each other. It was $8/person. There was a staff member in the lighthouse organizing the groups up and down which was nice. The steps are somewhat narrow and get narrower as you go up which could make passing people a challenge. It’s only 78 steps up. Up a the top it’s a small space but enough room for the number of people they allow at a time. The view was nice. If you are afraid of heights I could see this being scary but probably just at the top. There is a handrail on the stairs as you can see in my pictures and there are railings at the top. The light keepers house on the first floor has a few rooms with exhibits that you be a check out before and after if you have time. The staff were all friendly. Parking was on the road and we had no problem with that. We enjoyed this experience.
My favorite lighthouse in Presque Isle State Park. It was closed during my last visit but I did have the chance in the past to climb to the top. You get a great view. There's a beach next to the lighthouse that doesn't get too busy like the other beaches. It's a great spot to watch the sunrise or watch the sunset.
Beautiful building, setting and beach area. Lot of events, we made it to Lights Out and they did an awesome job including nature tables from bats displays to pumpkin painting. Wonderful way to spend the evening. Now we need to go back in the daytime and go through the lighthouse.
Lovely little lighthouse in a stunning location. The lighthouse history is well documented through photos and placards throughout the museum. Sweet little gift shop on the property with some unique items. The view is gorgeous from the balcony of the light tower. As with any lighthouse, the climb is challenging for anyone with the slightest mobility issues, but the location, itself, is worth a trip. Presque Isle, itself, is so pretty!
I was born and raised in Erie. The lighthouse has always intrigued me! My husband and I went to the beach while visiting. When we passed the lighthouse, we noticed people going in it. We went on a tour. The price was very reasonable for the museum & lighthouse tour. Nice gift shop too and the staff is friendly. The lady that was our tour guide through the museum was informative. I have been in a few lighthouses but I will have to say, this one was the best tour guided one! They explained everything and the gentleman at the top of it, even put his hand over the sensor so we could see it work! The tower is not extremely high up but the view is gorgeous! I highly recommend the tour of this lighthouse! They do an excellent job! One off my bucket list too!
We arrived ten minutes before the gate was opened. There are portable toilets nearby for those that need to go now. We did not tour the lighthouse but walked the grounds and perused the gift shop. Nice and quiet location: not too crowded in early October.

Boogie on the Bay was “out of this world!” The four of us had the best time ringing in 2025. The Chozen Few exceeded our expectations and played for a solid four hours. The food was excellent with generous portions. The 360 Photo Booth was so much fun and taking pics with ERIE2025 as our lit up back drop was perfect. The place was clean, friendly people, and we enjoyed the pool/hot tub area to ourselves!
Went for the Tall Ships. Such a great area for an event like this. Looking forward to returning in 2028!
Beautiful convention center. Large and open. Bathrooms every where. Very clean. Good security. Free parking.
Always clean with friendly staff when we go there for our yearly trade show!!!
Went there for the Tall ships event, it was a very nice place where there are many different events there. It was very nice and organized.
Very clean. Disorganized as far as people not knowing where to tell people to go. Went there for tall ship on Friday and Saturday with handicap tag then on Sunday they said we had to order special handicap tag to get in. They did finally just let us in where they had at least 50 open spaces available.
Nice once inside however waiting in the long line outside to get i was ridiculous. Once inside there were only two metal detector stations set up. Security was doing a great job with the limited resources they had. This was for the Craft Show... Would have been nice to know that it was a secured venue prior to arrival. Also, parking was terrible!
Worst venue for a large scale seated event. Seats are attached and leave no hip or shoulder space. All seating is one level, not split so you can see between the people in front of you and the stage is not near high enough for viewing. They do not have the parking for the potential thousands of people either, making it a circus.

Loved the Erie Children's museum! There's so much to do since the remodel. There are 3 floors (with elevators) with plenty of things to do. There's also an outdoor area that will look really nice when the weather warms up.
The museum was pretty good! We’ve visited lots of children’s museums along this coast and always enjoy exploring something new and different. This museum had something none of the others we've been to had—a woodwork station where kids could hand-drill holes in wood, hammer in nails, and grind pieces of wood. They also had some creative painting ideas for kids, including a paint spinner. You insert a piece of paper, close the lid, pour paint into the opening, and when it's done spinning, you let it dry—very cool! Kids could also draw on windows using wet chalk, which was a fun and unique activity. The dinosaur exhibit was another highlight. The kids loved building their own dinosaurs. Overall, it was a really fun and hands-on experience that the kids truly enjoyed.
First visit here and well worth the drive from Ohio. Brought my 3 yr old grandson and would give it 10 stars if he could. His imagination was on overload, there was so much to do. His favorite thing by far was the water table and pirate ship downstairs, we spent over an hour just there. The mock grocery store, restaurant, and vet clinic were also big hits with him. If you are thinking about visiting you should stop thinking and make the trip. We will absolutely be back.
We absolutely LOVE going to the Children's Museum. The areas she spends the most times in are the Veterinarian Clinic, Restaurant (Erie Eats), Grocery Store (Wegmans- which she knows well), play place, and the giant water table. She also loves doing the crafts, mechanic shop, and the construction/building area. I think they have done a wonderful job on the renovation.
This was an amazing experience. My two boys loved it. I have a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old and they thought it was amazing and I enjoyed myself as an adult
One of the best kids museums we've been to! Lots of great things to keep kids of varying ages occupied. Free parking was a bonus.
My toddlers loved this Museum! We could of spent the entire day here ! We also enjoyed the therapy dogs that were present today !
Had an amazing time here. Spent the whole day and still did not see everything inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of fun for my 3 year old.

Very nice theater! Seats were good in balcony. I drove to Erie from Ohio to see Collective Soul concert. Found reasonable parking within a short, walking distance of theater. If I lived in area , I would definitely not hesitate to go to events here. Everyone I encountered working there, was pleasant and helpful. Good experience! Fun night!!
What a beautiful theatre!! The staff were so friendly and eager to share about the history of the theatre. I loved that the bar areas were spaced out, keeping lines moving faster. The seats were a decent size and comfortable, too. We enjoyed our time there.
We saw a concert there. Had great seats- 3rd row center. Theatre was nostalgic, staff very helpful. Needed more toilet stalls on 1st floor women's bathroom. Theatre seats were uncomfortable...small and dated. Parked on street. Neighborhood a little sketchy. Concert itself was fantastic. Will return next time in town.
I can't say enough good things about the Warner theater. I live in Pittsburgh, it takes 2 hours to get to Erie and I drive it again just for the theater. It's a beautiful old-time restored theater that is comfortable, warm and the staff are amazing. I wouldn't go on about a theater unless it was absolutely over the top special. And the Warner theater is just that, over the top gorgeous.
It is a quaint venue. Jamey Johnson -The Last Honkey Tonk Tour was awesome 🔥🔥🔥Band was fantastic!!! Tickets were reasonable, good crowd -some had a few drinks in them a little loud. Staff were great, security tight **not a bad seat in the house. Thank you for keeping this land mark.💜
I can't say enough about this wonderful, historic venue. It's in the heart of downtown Erie with ample parking within a few blocks. It's wonderful for shows and concerts, has great acoustics, and there's not a bad seat in the house. Speaking of seats, they're very comfortable. There are an abundance of ushers who will assist you in finding your seat. The restoration was incredible, restoring it to it's original beauty. The interior is nothing less than breathtaking! If you come first an event, the second event included is experiencing this beautiful historic site. There aren't many Warner Theaters left!
Beautiful theater with great acoustics. We are big Jamey Johnson fans and it was an awesome show.
What a beautiful theater! I love the art deco and Renaissance design. It was a wonderfully intimate viewing experience, and probably any seat would be nice. The parking deck across the street was awful, and there was no working elevator. It was not disabled friendly at all. My advice would be to use the parking for the stadium next door.

Took a day trip and rode on the Lady Kate boat tour. I used to work at PI and never had the opportunity. The tour is very similar to the free pontoon boat lagoon tour that the park gives, but you get to go out on the lake. It was a gorgeous day and we had a lovely time. The price was decent also. Other photos are of sunset beach (kite beach) and gull point from the tour. Perry monument itself has wayside information, paths and flush toilet restrooms. The park is free to enter. The tour tickets can be bought in advance, online for the Lady Kate trip.
Very pretty area and interesting monument. There is some signage around that gives you information. The monument is beautiful and very large in person. It is in a quaint and beautiful part of the island with water and lots of nature. Great place to come and relax.
Perry Monument is located on the Presque Islands, Eerie, PA. This monument was erected to commemorate the victory of American forces lead by Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry over the British. This victory was a morale booster for America in the Independence struggle. I visited the place during noon and there was not much rush... I was on the way to Columbus from Niagara. The island is a great get away place for the families, good for cycling, plenty of place to unwind and relax.
Excellent. Marvelous. A very beautiful place to enjoy the beauty and calmness of nature. I just love the place. Very good for cycle lovers and skaters. Also if you want you can go for a rented boat ride, that enhance the facilities to a higher level along with that quadruple family cycle ride. Very exciting place for nature lovers only.
We love going to Perry Monument so our kids can run around and we can soak up some nature. Our daughter essentially learned to walk here 😉. It's a great place to visit for some sun and lake vibes. The geese are kind (to us they have been at least!) and it's very beautiful there. Our daughter now likes to look at the historical fact checkpoints and we try to teach her the history of the location. We also visit on rainy days because it's a just a different experience!
Beautiful and tranquil place with plenty of picnic tables. Great spot for fishing and it has a bike trail as well. You can take the boat for a tour from here as well. Had a great picnic with great views
Early on Sunday morning we had to place to ourselves. It’s is well shaded, the ducks provide some entertainment and the monument is a sight. Such a peaceful spot spots to walk or sit by the water
Cool little spot at the very end of Presque Isle! Dead man's cove and graveyard pond are super neat attractions and it's very cool to learn about the battle that took place here during the war of 1812

Total win for Erie. The arena was packed, the crowd was electric, and the Mammoths delivered on fun, flair, and local pride. Nice venue. Plenty of parking nearby! Helpful staff. Disney on Ice was great!
Went here for a concert, but still really enjoyed the venue. Parking is a bit sparse, though there are structures near by (a couple of them were full due to the games/other events goong on in the city) so plan ahead. Otherwise, it's not a bad place to spend an evening!
Great family atmosphere for concert but didn’t like they stoped selling water after 9:15 pm it was hot and very muggy mid summer in a stadium
Nice small clean arena EZ parking never have to walk too far Erie otters. 25 dollar seat center ice I go weekly !
I saw President Barack Obama. I drove in from Rochester New York. There was plenty of parking. The line to get through security was long but moved pretty quickly. Found my way around easily. Really enjoyed the event.
This was my first time seeing Disney on Ice and being at the Erie Insurance Arena! Fantastic show and wonderful actors that really got the crowd involved! My boyfriend actually works at the hotel where they are all staying, and got discount tickets for us!!
It’s great that this place holds large scale events and at the same time they seem like they shouldn’t lol we waited outside the event after it started because they could not get people in quickly enough. The doors opened an hour before the show started and we waited outside for about an hour and we were there with plenty of time before. The bathrooms were really terrible and none of the women’s stalls had toilet paper at the beginning of the show. We asked someone for help finding our seats and couldn’t tell that they worked there because they were sitting in a corner with their head down on their phone. It was odd.
