It was my first visit to Whitefish, and it did not disappoint! The ski area is much larger than I expected. The snow was great for April! We were there for the pond skim, which was a ton of fun. I'm very focused on service and my standards are high. Whitefish did not disappoint! Every staff member and even the guests are friendly and helpful. You feel welcomed from the moment you arrive.
Beautiful, quiet resort located north of Whitefish, Montana. Summer activities include a chairlift ride to the summit for hiking or biking, and an alpine slide. Nice base lodge with both indoor and patio seating and a coffee shop.
I drove up on a free day when my husband was in meetings. I had some difficulty locating where to park to access the ski lift. After 10 minutes of circling around in and out of private property, I found the ticket office. The kind man at the counter sold me a ticket and gave me precise directions to reach the lift area. The views close to the top and on top of the mountain are spectacular. The cafe at the summit house was great. There had a small.selection of sandwiches and salads and a nice bar area. I highly recommend.
Did the zip line which was expansive and thrilling. Very comfortable, but there is some short hiking in between positions. I would estimate half a mile total at most. Also did the alpine chutes and those were so much fun.
Summer at whitefish is almost as good as winter at whitefish. We enjoyed the ropes course, which is a challenge if you can make it all the way through to the expert course. We took a ride up to the top of the mountain, had some lunch and then slid down the mountain on the mountain luge.
We took a ride to the Summit. There's a restaurant/bar there and beautiful views. You buy tickets in the Base Lodge. There are two lifts to get to the summit. Chair lift 6 is an open chair lift that drops you off at Lift 1. Lift 1 has both open lift chairs and gondolas. You can choose whichever one you prefer.
We did a few activities there and it was wonderful! We took a hike up to the top and stayed at the lodge for some hot chocolate because it was raining and cold. After we got warmed back up, we took the gondala back down for a scenic ride. All of the workers we met were very helpful and friendly. We went back a second day and bought a few rides on the Alpine slide. That was a ton of fun, the entire family enjoyed it. The only tricky thing in the summer is parking... There is ample parking, but kind of tricky to find the closest lot as there was some construction going on.
We came here in early June and enjoyed a ride up to the top. It was an amazing view all around. I wish there were better directions to hiking around so we just hiked what we could find. Still beautiful and worth a trip up.

We didn’t get food but it looked great. If you love a local dive bar with beer in a mason jar with many local brewery flavors this is your bar. Great service. In a great little town. The food park across the street is also a great food spot. We came back twice to this bar. Loved it.
It's a fine place if you're going to just have a beer and hang with friends. For food you go all the way to the back and order and pay at the counter. The guy was rude and impatient. You then have to go to the bar to order and pay for water, tea, soda, etc. But since you're not getting alcohol they act like it's an inconvenience to help you. She then gave me a soda instead of a tea and she sighed when I pointed that out. We then had to find a table to eat at which was hard because people were just kind of scattered about. When they brought the food out they just kind of tossed it on the table and walked away. The food also wasn't great.
I liked that they have 3 pool tables. Cider was good. The live music was great. But the workers are kind of rude. A member of my party was playing pin ball, a woker came and unplugged the machine so they couldn't play anymore and gave no reason why. Just "pin ball is done bro." People also really like to complain about tourist in a tourist town.
Very cool bartenders, nice bar feel. Great beers on tap. Blackfoot IPA is a great one you start with.
Great atmosphere!! Obvious local hangout which speaks to the local opinion. Gyro and fries were excellent. Don't know if having spent 3 days in Seattle had anything to do with it, but the prices were amazing. Less than $100 for 5 adult beverages each and our meals. Little different in that you order food at the kitchen and drinks at the bar. We were out of there before 6pm so don't know if service is different later, but not a big deal. Super friendly and great service.
Been coming to the great northern a great deal and for a long time. In the last year the costumer server has gotten so bad. We simply asked on of the bartenders if the other was intoxicated as she was spurring and yelling (it was a Wednesday night and nobody was in the bar) and both the bartenders started yelling and screaming at me and my friends and flipping us off. We also tipped them 30% prior to that questions. Crazzyyy experience but even after that the bartenders have been so so rude.
Really nice to walk in after a long drive and have cold drinks and tasty food
If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. If you’re just looking for a place to grab a quick drink I’d say this place is fine, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for food. This restaurant is not only disgustingly filthy, but has horrible food service and cleanliness standards. Upon ordering my food I watched the guy standing in the kitchen, who took my order, spit into a garbage can right in front of me and wipe his face with his hand and then return to handling food without washing. Not to mention how filthy their “kitchen” is. If that wasn’t gross enough, after a few bites of my lasagna I stumbled upon half an eggshell inside in my food. That was the cherry on top for me I can gladly say I will never be returning to this restaurant again, pls if you are considering eating here, I urge you to sit and watch the kitchen in the back before you order as it should change your mind. This place needs to be shut down, at least for foodservice, for the safety of everyone who contemplates eating here.

Very cute free museum and the old man in there is hilarious, his jokes had us rolling rhe whole time. I hope he has a good life and keeps spreading cheer and smiles with that lil museum.
Short stop on the Empire Builder get some fresh air and walk around. We had 20 minutes here. I really didn't see any vending machines around perhaps inside 🤔 Had a really neat looking bar across from the depot
A beautiful busy train depot. We arrived after 2:00 pm & they scheduled to reopen at 4:00 pm, however, they never did open. We are not sure what happened & there was no one around to ask. We looked forward to visiting the museum inside the depot but maybe next time. The outside is very well kept, with bright colors, clean grounds, & beautiful train art. The old bus out in front of the depot has a great history so don't pass it by. The evergreen trees were budding beautiful cones.
This is a classic Great Northern station. In the late 80's still owned by railroad. The town pulled together [disclaimer I am a contributor but was from Colorado] to save the station. Now a gem on Amtrak plus also for the community. I love going through Whitefish, early morning or late evening. Suggestion, if you have time, spend it in Whitefish. Do a 24 hour layover.
Years ago,I had the good fortune to travel by train from Minnesota to Portland Oregon on the Amtrak Empire Builder. The views going through Glacier National Park were beautiful. We stopped for a break at Whitefish and when I stepped onto the platform and took a breath of air I was shocked. It was the most wonderful scent I have ever experienced! It was so clean and cool. To this day, I want to take this trip again and stay in Whitefish for a longer time. What a paradise.
Great example of an Amtrak classic American train station. Well maintained. Proud part of Whitefish community.
Very cute and quaint. Old time vibe. Museum was very cool.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean attractive building. Close to restaurants and shops.

Totally worth the trip to Whitefish from Kalispell. Amazing beach amidst mountains. The view is spectacular. Nice sandy beach kids had fun building sand castles, water was a bit cold to get in but kids still did nice swimmable beach with picnic tables both shaded and unshaded. There is a long pier for some amazing views of the lake. There is a boat launching dock nicely built. Nicely paved trail accessible for both wheelchair & stroller. -What they need is a ramp to access beach for wheelchair & stroller as it was hard for us to bring stroller down to the beach. Ample washroom, however remians closed in winter. Ample parking right on the beach and its free. Check out tons of videos & images. & follow for more.
The scene provides a sense of tranquility and peace where the water meets the horizon. The backdrop of snowy mountain and the passing of train makes a perfect match of daily dose of life.
I go to the city beach by bike, it is very easy to get there, just follow the sign & ggl map ~ Good, Clean environment and nice weather here! Good to come with friends / family ~ able to rent kayak / others stuff here too.
All around fantastic place to be. You can spend all day reading and walking around the beach, not to mention the water is pristine and feels perfect.
Like the millions of people who come through this area, I am another added to the list, of happy encounters with this super cool town. I had a great stay here and was here solo, still had fun. I don’t drink or get high but do appreciate nature a lot. The setup of the beach was great, everyone was in a happy mindset, when I was there on August 6th-2022 around 1pm. The day was stellar with temps sitting around 75, a nice breeze from the west to keep me invigorated.
Beautiful scenery and a quick walk from town! Our kids had a great time at this little beach on our summer vacation.
This place is awesome. It was a nice and cool morning. Brought some coffee.
Great little family friendly beach and park. Very clean and well kept. Came in the evening and even after a whole day, it still felt very clean. There are tables to picnic and a decent amount of shady areas on the grass. There is even a changing room off to the side. According to the city regulations; no dogs are allowed in the park area and on the beach.

This place was out of the way, and you have to drive on some gravel road, which isn't that bad. You end up in this small, quiet, peaceful place. The hosts at the entrance were very nice and informative. We thank you guys for everything. Definitely recommend this place if your the type looking for basically an off grid camping spot. Bring your headlamps/flashlights and don't bother trying to use your devices there is no signal here which is great. A few people had generators. It's roughly half an hour from Apgar, which is where you can grab all you need and have some peaceful lake time on Mckenzie Lake Fabulous place
Big Creek Campground is managed by the USFS, and they do a great job. It's 50% reserved campsites and 50% walk-up campsites. Also, several group sites. The on-site hosts are wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. The campground lies next to the beautiful North Fork of the Flathead River. It has launching for day use rafting and fishing. Spacious, level sites with gravel pads, good for RVs and tents. A picnic table and fire pit w/grill Available potable water, and multiple clean, well stocked pit-toilets. It's pretty much everything you could want!!!
Absolutely stunning area, with a fairly clear view into Glacier National Park depending on where you look. Be very careful of bears, though; you must keep in mind that you are in the middle of bear country. Also, don't drive too fast in the campground. The dry climate makes it so that driving too quickly causes thick clouds of dust. The camp host, who is very nice and super helpful, recommended that I even drive below the posted speed limit of 10 mph. 5 would be about perfect, if not even slower than that.
The road to the campground is not paved and REALLY bumpy - they told us there was torrential rain recently that made the road horrendous to drive in but there are 2 ways to get there. Choose the route that only has 2 miles of unpaved road - towards the north fork/polebridge, then towards Columbia falls. Otherwise, the site is very pretty with a creek nearby. All campers were so nice and the camp host, James, who was filling in for the other camp hosts for a week was amazing - coming around frequently and offered us coffee and a hot shower in the morning. Great stay!
Absolute favorite in the North Fork and the hosts Scott and Trish are absolutely fabulous! They really take care of their campgrounds but especially their campers! ❤️
Pam who runs this place is the best! If it weren’t for her we would have had no where to stay in Glacier…..the first come first serve rat race is very difficult and stressful. This campsite was beautiful and very quiet. We also met some awesome people that we plan to keep in touch with! Pam made our time in Glacier great and I would highly recommend staying here. A few quick tips, if your planning on doing any hikes or driving the going to the sun road, get up very early. If you don’t there are no parking spots anywhere and it’s brutal.
This is in the most beautiful location along the North Fork of the Flathead River. It is a beautiful river! I could sit by it for hours. The campsites are nice and mostly shaded. Vault toilets. No dump. The camp hosts are awesome!! They helped us out of a jam!! About 20 minutes to the West Glacier entrance. Do NOT take the road to the campground from the west. It is a horrible road. Seven miles of the worst washboard!! Go in on the road from the east side. Much better! We stayed three nights in our 32 ft motorhome. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We visited this place in July 2022. This campgrounds is outside Glacier on the west side of the park. If you can't get a reservation in Glacier, this is the place to get. There are 2 ways to get to this park. Drive on Camas Rd. It is paved and only 2 miles of dirt road with somewhat bad washboard. I say somewhat because inside our rv we felt it was going to fall apart, but cars were passing us as if the road was fine. So you be the judge. DO NOT drive on N Fork Rd. That is 20 miles of dirt road which mean bad washboard. Having said that. The park is nice as well as Pam, the host. There are 22 sites (tents and or rvs). The sites are well spaced out from each other. I love that because you feel you actually have your space. You get a table, fire ring, and the place you set your tent is actually big. You can safely put a 10 to 14 person tent, not like other places where you can only put a 4 person tent. Some sites require reservations and some are walk-ins. They do have daily use areas for a fee of course, a ramp for those who want to go rafting, and one section for group reservation only. There are no hook-ups for rv nor a dump station. This is a dry camping place. The closest station is in Columbia Falls 20 miles south from the campground. They do have vault toilets and running water, I would say is the best water you can drink. The entire campground is shaded and they have the river that goes behind the campground. They also have quite hours which is nice. I would recommend this place as I would visit it again if I am in this part of the country again.

Great Store. My wife is a native of this area, so we visit annually. When we can get to Whitefish we try to stop in Whitefish Pottery. I still have bowls I purchased 15 years ago! On this most recent trip, we bought a couple of things for ourselves, as well as some items for friends. Too much to bring back on the plane, the store packaged and shipped the items for us. (For an additional fee, naturally.) The items arrived soon after we got back home and we appreciate it! If you're interested in top-quality, western-style ceramics, pottery, art, etc., please stop in. (And get a set of the soup mugs with handles!)
Superior products, tastefully displayed. Sales personnel let you look without interference, but help when needed. I never visit this area of Montana without shopping at Whitefish Pottery.
Nice pottery. The women in the store that day was very unfriendly and never even bothered to ask if we needed any help. Which we did. So we didn't buy anything and left.
Great selection of hand thrown on the wheel pottery, not only from Whitefish Potterys' studio but other artists too. The owner, Tom, couldn't be nicer!
Cute, local shop. Surprisingly reasonable prices for a tourist strip

I may have just eaten the best burger of my life. It had blue cheese crumbles, fresh red onion, a soft-but-toasted bun, fresh lettuce, some tasty sauce and made me want another the moment I finished it. I am not exaggerating! I got my burger with the side of pasta salad and it was also delicious and unique - not typical BBQ pasta salad fare. My wife got the special of the day, an Asian salad. She is gluten-free and their menu was very clear about allergies and staff was very knowledgeable. There is a cozy indoor seating area and outside for the warmer months they have large lawn areas to dine outside. They have kid menus available. They do most of their cooking outside at a grill during the warmer months, but still have food options in the winter with just a modified menu (but still sounds like some good options!). We definitely will be coming back!
The burgers were delicious, but the tortilla chips we ordered with salsa came with mostly broken small pieces. Not sure how to dip into the salsa with small pieces. We could have had them replaced but we feel they never should have been served in the first place. The Yolo Polo chicken was ordered to be romaine wrapped which is available on the menu, but was served on a bun. Good food with a few deficiencies that could easily be rectified.
So the first day we went there for just a couple beers. Sat outside, plenty of space if weather is nice. Good beer. On the fallowing day we went back after hiking all day, needed some food. Ordered a couple beers, different flavors from before, and two bowls. Food was very tasty and beer was good as well. If we would have something like this by our house, we would definitely stop by once in a while.
Really a GREAT spot! My Fortune Burger was spicy (not too spicy) and flavorful. The Bonsai Cheeseburger were really good too. Great outdoor seating in and out of the sun - under trees. Order inside and take a “buzzer” until it’s your pickup time. Pretty tasty pale ale too!
Great spot with a dog friendly outdoor area. Brew their own beers which were good. Had the salmon salad and I really liked it! Definitely worth a visit
Didn't try any food, but the vibes and beers we had at Bonsai were top notch. The outdoor space was large and had tons of seating, and the indoor bar area had an inviting atmosphere. The options on tap were also pretty varied which is great to see.
We stopped at 5 different breweries while on vacation in Montana and this was by far our favorite! Beers and food were excellent, intimate atmosphere inside and nice outside seating area as well. The staff were incredibly friendly!!
After a long day of hiking and getting sunburnt this was the place to be to recharge. My husband and I got the soul food beer and foreplay beer and our taste buds were hyped! Lots of parking. Outdoor and indoor seatings. Loud music inside which was a vibe...bartender even started singing. Golden buzzer moment!

Amazing gallery. Super-realistic sculptures and outstanding art/paintings of many artists. Elegant. Comfortable. The quiet downstairs espresso with deli light snacks is a great place to talk in an upbeat location.
A must see. Very happy to have stopped by and checked out the gallery. Beautiful artwork, great vibe and friendly owner. Highly suggested.
We appreciate this wonderful place and the staff for their kindness and hospitality, if we ever come back to Montana we probably will visit this place again. Best of luck 🙏
We had such an incredible experience at this gallery a couple of days ago. Paige was so sweet and kind. She took great care of us from making coffee, tea, and answering all our questions. The gallery host many talented artists. The pieces are for sale as well, which we wanted it all! If you are in town, this place is well worth the visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience, it was one of our highlights on this trip
Fascinating and incredibly talented art work. Super friendly atmosphere and we were politely welcomed in to view at our leisure. It has historical pieces and informative descriptions. It was amazing to see the art room and video. The Sakajawea was my favorite and just breathtaking and inspiring! My only regret was not visiting the coffee shop. Thank you to the gentleman who welcomed us in and to Sunti and his wife for sharing the talented creations from different artists.
Very nice caffe. The art gallery is beautiful
Wow, this place is fantastic. Excellent art from multiple artists; everything was top notch. While prices were beyond my budget, all the artwork was excellent. Great items for any collector, particularly for anyone wanting native American items. This gallery is worth visiting by anyone; my opinion is that it is better than most museums I have been to and I have been to many including the Louvre and Muesse De Orsee in Paris. I highly recommend just stopping by. Wish I could afford some of this work and had the right place for it.
We have visited several times. The art displayed is simply superb -- sculptures, paintings, and drawings. A welcoming atmosphere easily absorbed. One of the best galleries we have ever visited. It is well worth your time

At 57, I had only seen tv shows on people who have walked across a frozen lake. Today, I walked on one and it was amazing. So many beautiful things to see in this state- and, thanks to United Airlines for having their 3rd plane breakdown, we are able to enjoy Montana another day!!
Wonderful state park! Nice beach, great facilities, clean. I utilized their hiker/biker site on a cross country bicycle trip. It was very affordable, and had accommodations for multiple travelers. Best version of that type of site id encountered.
The beach and dog beach are great. Very shallow for a long distance with minimum waves and traffic(except boats getting off the dock, but weekday in summer was not that bad.honestly), though parking is very limited. The only distraction is loud train going pretty often. You have to pay $8 state park entry fee, but for us it was definitely worth it and we went for 3 days in a row. Our fluff gives 12/10!
My family (wife and son) tent camped here in late June. The park is on the small side for a state park, but the location is very pretty. The bathrooms are modern and clean, the lady at the entry booth was friendly and helpful, and the camping areas are generously sized. We arrived early and set up camp, then left for several hours to tour Glacier NP. We returned after dark and settled in. It was only a few minutes later that we realized the park is near a very active train line. Trains ran almost all night long. And they were loud! If you stay here, make sure you are prepared. Forget the bear spray; buy ear plugs!
Deann and Jeff the camp entrance attendants were amazing..The train can be a little much if your close too tracks. If possible make your reservation further away. The restrooms were clean, hot showers after a day on the lake is fantastic .Thank again we will return
Easy boat launch rather than using city beach. Ben was really friendly during the boat inspection.
If you value sleep it is best to pass on this campground, the train tracks are right next to this place! We stayed on the opposite side of the campground from the tracks and still barely slept due to noise! Nice for a day area but not to sleep unless you are in an RV or Travel trailer and are a heavy sleeper
Incredibly well kept park that when we attended was very quiet. The lone staff member we encountered was more than friendly and have advice on what to do or see here when we brought our dogs. The lake was one of the more beautiful lakes we saw on our entire trip in Montana. I can absolutely see it being a mad house during the summer with campers and boaters. Came during early fall and only saw 8 other people, no other dogs There is a small "dog only" beach area that is right next to the human only beach. So during a busy peak time I could see that getting a bit problematic. But we were very happy to come here. Be advised that there is a $8 day use fee.

Really nice cocktail bar. Super friendly staff and good environment to go a get a good drink and hang out. The drinks were also really good as well.
Cocktails were absolutely delicious. Staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and made cocktails beautifully! Ambiance… needs some warmth. Metal chairs, bright paint on walls, and an oddly placed seating arrangement in the garage area full of bright fluorescent lighting penetrates into the lounge. Maybe some translucent blinds or coverings would help it feel cozier. Felt like I was looking into someone’s apartment next door. Love the drinks.
Dope spot for great cocktails! Love the vibes here and love that they have an agave spirit and it’s delicious! Prices were a little steep but not terrible. Definitely worth a stop if you like a good cocktail! Staff was very nice :)
This is always a good stop. This distillery creates a unique menu of craft cocktails using their brand spirits. Cool thing too, almost any of them can be cocktails.
Great experience here. Staff was great, drinks were greater and chatting it up with other patrons made it a memorable experience. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice craft cocktail.
Awesome cocktail bar/distillery. The cocktails are handcrafted with fresh ingredients and are amazing! There is a 2 cocktail maximum and they are closed at 8:00pm...so get in early to grab a drink before dinner. The salt and pepper martini and the Thai Down were the best. Some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had!
My wife and I visited while on vacation and had a fantastic experience. The bartender Mina was the picture of hospitality and was a highlight of our trip. As pretty avid drinkers, we had some of the best cocktails (the espresso martini with mountain mint spirit is a highlight) and walked away with some of their very high quality spirits to take home. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
I love going to Spotted Bear, the drinks are fresh, creative, delicious, and even pretty to look at. Very casual and great place to chat with friends and meet people from all over the world. The staff is fun, friendly, and explain the menu to help decision making. McCara, one of the bartenders is adorable and handles busy times with confidence and ease. They offer a punch card, buy eight drinks get one free, fun idea! Check it out, a great local treat.

A must see art gallery! So enjoyed walking through and admiring the paintings/art pieces. Excellent lighting accentuated the art beautifully. (I’m too poor to buy a piece, but I can dream).
If you like Western art, this place has it in spades. The lady who helped me was super friendly. I can't wait for the Colt Idol Thunderstuck print to show up.. My wife fell in love with it at the CM Russell art auction. The picture is of the painting i fell in love with.
Such beautiful and stunning artwork here. The staff was extremely pleasant and even gave us some background stories about the museum and the artwork to us tourists. Would love to visit again!
This shop has very nice paintings of different sizes large, medium and small. the paintings are very colorful
Beautiful gallery with many pieces that capture the wonders of Montana and the West. We appreciated how Tricia was willing to spend time with our father and discuss various pieces. It is definitely worth visiting.
I visited this gallery on 6/26/17 and 6/27/17 while on vacation with extended family. The experience was great. Wonderful displays of original oil paintings, bronze sculptures, furs, and more. Staffed with knowledgeable and helpful sales people, they let you browse and they don't hover over you in a peaceful and pleasant manner. Gorgeous paintings of western art. Each one is uniquely framed to show off the works in their best light. This is a must see gallery when you visit Whitefish.
I haven't walked into a gallery with a Wow factor like this before.
This Gallery is absolutely stunning! So many pieces to chose from. They have small to large paintings, beautiful indian jewelry, wood and beaded vases, sculptures of all kinds. I could go on. We didn't buy anything 😭. We are waiting until we move back West. Go in an check it out!! So worth it!!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better 2 hours. It was well organized and everything went smoothly. The kids had a great time!
The staff was wonderful! The whole process was great! We booked for our son's 10th birthday party and the staff, Nick and Miles were wonderful to work with. The kids had a blast running around the woods and the adults seemed to enjoy it as much as they did! We will be booking again!
Super fun experience. Be prepared to sweat and have a blast. My kiddo had a great time and is already asking when we can come back.
What a fun time! Janet came out for for the laser tag party for my sons 11th bday. She has quality equipment, knows how to set up the games so its not a total free-for-all. A little organization for the kids is good, it makes it more fun for them. The guns are super accurate, and long distance shooting. We will definitely have here back for future parties!!!!

Sprawling, 5-acre dog park in a picturesque setting featuring open play areas, a small beach & pond.

Absolutely one of the best dog places I have ever seen in my whole life. I love all the different sections that they had in the dog park. They had an area for small dogs, they had a fenced in pond area, which is great just in case you don't want to get your dogs wet. They had a large open area for wrestling. They even had an agility section. They had drinking fountains for people and for dogs. They also have a place to wash off your dog in case it gets muddy. Absolutely blown away by such a magnificent dog park. The span of 2 days became here three times to wear at our pups while passing through on our vacation.
The best dog park in Montana! Lots of clean green grass with beautiful views of Big Mountain. Very well taken care of, great paths, plenty of benches. There is an area for small dogs, a small agility area, and place to wash off your dog after. My dogs personal favorite is the pond to swim in along with lots of space to play fetch.
We come to Wag quite often. Love all the dogs and most of the people.😄 It's very clean (thank you, crews, who do a wonderful job) except for a few missed do- dos which we pick up. Such wonderful agility course and most wonderful swimming pond! The location is great and the views are amazing We go to relax. (Lots of donated benches to rest on).Our dog goes to have fun. Thank you WAG!!
This is by far the coolest dog park I have ever seen. It's huge and has so many amenities..... Dog wash station, agility course, swimming pond. There is shaded areas and also a walking path around the inside of the entire park. And there are also bathrooms near the parking lot. No hills to climb so I want to say it's rather handicap accessible. There has been tons of dogs there every time I go.
Coolest dog park I've ever seen! Our 2 goldendoodles had an absolute blast! Bring a towel if you have swimmers.
Great park!! Dogs love that they can swim and we can run hot laps until their fluffy butts are dry🤩
Great park for dogs! Huge spaces for dogs of all kinds, the pond was amazing with a nice area around it for sitting or walking around
Pretty terrific dog park, due to its size, agility course, there is a pond but the water is questionable. There are also small dog large dog areas. Tons of room for the pooch to play, lots of benches and seating and the views are astounding.

I know the owner of this gallery, Rochelle (Shelly) Lombardi, and she takes pride in the caliber of artists represented! She continues to add new artists to bring the best to the gallery. Her focus is building a satisfied clientele, providing original art, custom jewelry, and unique home furnishings at quality prices. Supporting regional as well as local artists, she delights in allowing people to pursue their passion. New works of art are always incoming to the gallery, so come in often to see what's available. Rochelle is also a certified jeweler/gemologist and has numerous bronze sculptures on display depicting life in the great state of Montana.
Cannot say enough good things about this place. Wonderful people wonderful atmosphere definitely worth stopping in.
Very nice place. Some quite unique statuary and wall art. We purchased a painting there and am very happy with the quality and price.
This gallery is simply wonderful. They have wonderful craftsmanship, amazing service and very friendly. I have bought several pieces from them and had a get a couple of rings resized and shipped to me from out of state and they were giving several helpful update calls until I received my rings to let me know what was happening. Planning on visiting again my next trip up to Montana
One of the most beautiful drives in the world is going to the sun road! If you haven't seen The Glaciers or inhaled the crisp air in this National Park you may not be living your best life. Get out here and check this place out!
I love this gallery.I like the varied and interesting artists represented. And I really like the mother-daughter duo. They have such authentic , creative energy.
The owner Rochelle has wonderful energy, is a great artist herself, and gives great representation to other artists as well. Great variety inside
Cute little gallery on main street. Fun and free for those visiting Whitefish.

The rink is well maintained, clean ice, affordable and fun!
Great ice rink but the free skate times change at the drop of a hat. When I left my house at 9:30 the skate times were 10:30 to 12:45 but by the time we got there the skate times had changed to 10-12. They didn’t tell us that when we paid so full price got us barely 45min on the ice :(
Love coming down here for hockey tournaments. Such a fun place to play, but just be warned it is pretty cold in there. Basically it's whatever the outside temperature is when you're in there so dress appropriately.
Wish they posted it was closed today anywhere online or even on the door. Wasted a 30 minute drive
Stumptown Ice Den is like a second home for us! It’s a great place for families and groups of all ages. The staff at the ice den are incredible and always go above and beyond!
Nice rink, something for everyone, our daughter loved the little playground right behind the arena and our son thought the summer ice was great!
This is a local hockey rink. I stopped in just to see what the drop in Hockey was like. It seemed like a friendly group of people just enjoying being on the ice. They were a goalie short so they put an obstacle on one net to make it a bit harder to score. Venue has seating that could accommodate a high school game crowd.
Friendly staff, great quality ice. Lots of good community programs for learning to figure skate or play hockey. Public sessions are a bit chaotic. There are no rink guards out there, and there are a lot of kids zooming around playing on those structures intended to help you with balance. Otherwise this ice rink is a gem!!

I've long been an appreciator of the art and artists that Walking Man Gallery features. There are always unique, beautiful, and interesting pieces there and they are a must-stop spot for Whitefish Gallery Nights. However, this review was inspired by a recent visit to the frame shop to have them take a look at a broken frame and shattered glass situation that happened after a Command Strip failure. Pete and Karen were kind, helpful, creative and realistic about the project I had brought to them - and in the end, Karen did SUCH a great job of restoring the original frame, I am super grateful for the craftsmanship and service at Walking Man!
A wonderful locally-owned business who supports the community and it's artists. I always love the eclectic variety and great energy at WMFS. Our favorite place to visit in Whitefish. They are so friendly, helpful and awesome to bounce ideas around with.
Fabulous service by experts - whether you are framing a poster or an heirloom, Peter and Co are there to hold your hand while you make all those decisions about mat colors, textures and frame sizes. Then they put it all together with quality craftsmanship. Check out their amazing gallery of local artists - breath-taking, really. So grateful for this local frame shop and gallery that is committed to supporting our community. You are the best!
Not impressed. Quality, Cost or Speed. Normally you can pick two. Here, well. Can you even have one? Update: I've just noticed there are lots of 5 star reviews here. And all added in the same few days. What is going on here? This has just got to be the owner creating multiple accounts to bring up their ratings. Disgraceful. Some people would rather use trickery than improve their business with hard work.
I work with this frame shop whenever I can because they are the best! The customer service is friendly and professional, the framestock and craftsmanship is of the highest quality and they always get special orders done in a timely manner. There are readymade photo frames available and also there is a fantastic gallery inside the shop. The owners are often producing fun and eclectic shows and supporting a diverse range of local artists.
Watch for the false negative reviews on here from Nazi trolls wanting to discredit local awesome businesses such as Walking Man. They have never set foot in this town let alone this business! This is an excellent business run by excellent people!
Beautiful gallery featuring uniquely creative Montana artists, quality framing, personal and friendly service. This place is a local favorite! Watch for their Thursday gallery nights in the summertime.
A great space for browsing unique artwork and taking care of framing needs. I highly recommend supporting this family-owned business.
