We were glad we accompanied our neighbor, a diehard Seattle Mariners fan, to a spring training game at this fun Peoria Cactus League stadium on a beautiful March day. The spacious, all-outdoor midway is a testament to the typically great weather this time of year. There’s every kind of stadium food you could possibly want, and a wide selection of beers, though I couldn’t find a non-alcoholic offering. Of course I had a hot dog with plenty of mustard, and peanuts in the shell, and a soft pretzel with mustard (I can never have too much mustard). The seats were comfy, with good elbow room, ample knee room, and a sufficient rake that the head of the guy in front of you doesn’t block your view of a critical play at a critical moment. The grassy area beyond left field is great for picnicking, and it’s probably where the dogs go on the Bark at the Park days. The green grass is almost like a continuation of the left fields grass. Bring your glove, as home runs would land here. There’s a huge TV screen behind the grassy area and a tented area with seating to its left (looking out from home plate). There’s also a pirate ship playground area for kids. Unfortunately, my friend’s Mariners lost but it was a very fun day. Highly recommended.
Free parking for spring training game day. Check the huge baseball for spring practice entrance. Both Padre and Mariners side are quite accessible and see players practice in close distance. They don't have too many food options inside the field and the team store is relatively small for two teams.
Visited the Peoria Sports Complex for the Desert Night Market. Excellent! Big variety of vendors and food.
They overcharge you for drinks here so make sure you bring your own for any events - but otherwise the stadium itself is very clean and well-maintained!
Pro Tip: cool off with the breeze under the scoreboard. Cooling fans for the electronics + wind tunnel in the shade by are = Ahhhhh. See pic. Great time at the Mariners game. There was plenty for everyone of all ages to do before the game. Try pitching and get measured by radar gun. Children’s play area and cooling mist. Plus so many food options aside from the fixed food counters and stands. The free parking is a plus with most charging for it but get there early to avoid parking far away in gravel overflow lots. Like they just closed main parking off just over an hour before hand. This is a shared venue between Ms and San Diego so when they play each other it will be packed to the gills. Anyhow, good seats although they were in the narrow side. Good times and great place to take in a game.
This is a really cool spot if you are a baseball fan! The spring training home of the Mariners & Padres. Both teams also workout at this facility so if you head out early you can get an up close look at your favorite players working out. Today we saw the Mariners catchers working out and the hitting on one of the outdoor fields!
I was hosting 12 Naval Academy classmates plus spouses over the March 21 weekend. I reached out to Ty Petersen at the Peoria Sports Complex about attending a Spring (Cactus League) baseball game. Ty was very engaged, professional and communicative throughout the process of organizing and booking our game. We booked in the Collonade which is a semi private venue on the home field side. Great location to view the game and tickets provide access to a very good buffet and bar. You have the option of sitting in dedicated stadium seats or enjoying the indoor/outdoor seating in the Collonade. Ty also arranged to have our group featured on the scoreboard! Lastly, he personally appeared to meet our group and thank us for our business! The whole experience throughout was awesome!
Very cool Baseball park. We unfortunately didn’t make it to a game here for spring training but we had to see the mariners home stadium and watched them practice. Also visited the team store. It was free to park there before the game. Got to watch the players practice and quite a few stopped to sign my son’s baseball. Lots of people there wanting autographs. Very cool experience!

My daughter is here at Rio Vista this week attending a class, and I noticed that Heather at the front desk and her team is attentive, friendly, and really mindful of the surroundings. I stayed to work at the facility while my daughter was in the class, and there was a gentleman lingering around all of the rooms and peeking his head in the rooms, displaying slightly odd behavior. Heather and her team handled this with grace, ensuring that the gentleman received any help he needed (he seemed a little off), but yet very cautious and calling for some backup to assist. She was so nice and friendly to him, while also being extremely cautious. Everything ended up fine, and the man ended up having someone that maybe he knew come to help him and Heather seemed to just genuinely care about both getting that man support but also keeping everyone at the facility safe. I really appreciated how they handled this, especially with parents relying on this facility as a safe place for their kids. Thank you so much!! We will be back for more classes!
I came here to shoot a wedding reception. The hall the family rented was vast and offered plenty of room for dining, dancing, and picture-taking. A kitchen adjacent to the hall allowed for easy food service. Several doors open onto a deck that overlooks the water and grassy recreational fields. I photographed the couple and other members of the wedding party on this deck at sunset and produced many vibrant, beautiful photos. (Alas, I do not have permission to share them.) There is plenty of parking close to the center. I would highly recommend it as a place to hold receptions and other events.
Rio Vista is within walking distance of our home so we love to visit. Recently the playground was redesigned! Throughout the week, the fields are busy with school aged sports, including soccer, football and softball. There is a skate park that is almost always busy, and a new cafe which we haven’t had a chance to try yet. We used to be members of the rec center which has great racquetball courts and a nice gym. We love walking around the lake. Lots of ducks and geese and occasionally a crane. Overall this is a wonderful community park.
The amenities are nice. The courts are well kept and the facilities are clean. Quiet, even with the 2nd floor full of people working out. Outdoors there are spaces with expansive open views.
Very clean, family friendly, and tons of ducks to feed here. Little to no fishing here but the pond supports what it can do. Also there are tons of Pokemon here to catch, green grass and lots of trees. Best part is that the New River Trail runs directly next to the park, perfect for a mid-stop break.
Looks like a great place, unfortunately we were not able to check it out. The climbing wall was advertised as open, but it was closed due to staffing. With three people seemingly idle at the walk in counter, wouldn’t it make sense to cross train staff to avoid this scenario, and people wasting their time?
Very nice park where you can relax by the ponds or go for a walk. I love taking my dog there to see the ducks and other dogs out with their owners. Very clean and well maintained public park. Bring a blanket or a fold up chair because there’s a lot of duck poop in certain areas but it’s nature at its finest. 😉🦆🦆🦆 Besides, it all comes out in the wash🐥
Beautiful spotted visit 😍

Free Acoustic concert with Haley Green. Beautiful venue. Thank you Haley, you are amazing! I appreciate you and all your hard work putting on a free performance for us. The acoustics sounded magnificent and your voice is magical. I am looking forward to seeing you again, with your band. God bless you.
Caught the 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at this venue. I was impressed with their efforts to theme the entire venue as if we were in fact at the Putnam County Spelling Bee. They had on brand posters in the bathroom and staff welcoming you to the spelling bee. The venue is comfortable, consecssions reasonable and overall good vibes abound. Parking around the area is free and a short walk away. As I understand, they're heavily engaged with the community, offer classes for folks of all ages and just want to make art.
It's a beautiful venue. Staff was very hospitable. Simply Three put on a Fantastic concert mixing classical instruments through many musical genres! I highly recommend Theater Works & Simply Three!!
Congrats to Peoria Theater Works for hosting an inclusive and hilarious source entertainment. It was my first time there and I was glad to be introduced your theater. I will definitely be back!
I had probably one of the best times at this "sensual theater" plays in my entire life (and my only). You can really tell each if these actors have poured in their time, soul, and effort in every single thing. From the decorations, to the acting, down to even the invitations themselves. It was for the Alice and Wonderland which I believe is still selling tickets which I HIGHLY recommend going to (just wear comfortable shoes) and enjoy the ride. The outfits for each actor was spectacular and you can tell took time and effort. I am so blessed to have had this opportunity to go and hope to go to any of their future theaters or plays.
We saw the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee here and it was awesome! What a great little theater! The theater itself is lovely, and while not opulent, it is fairly comfortable. Concession stand sold wine, mixed drinks, and candy. Staff was friendly and courteous. The acting for this particular show was amazing! Great production!
We saw James and the Giant Peach in the afternoon. It was a nice production and the young lead actor did a great job. He is only in 3rd grade and was so professional. The play was executed well and there was some standout scenes. Good Job to all! The theater and the staff were great. The parking was hard for me because I needed a handicapped spot and they were all taken. There is a drop off area if you need to drop off someone that has a disability so that shouldn't stop you from going. Enjoy!
This is such a nice smaller theater. Comfortable seats, great staff and great theater feel.

Super fun and beautiful I did the skunk and new river trails together during the night. I suggest good flashlights. Paved road and stunning surroundings! Be safe and share the trail!
I absolutely love this trail. Great for running biking skateboarding or just going for a walk.
Don’t walk at sunset, people riding motorbikes and golf carts. City doesn’t do anything about it. They’ve almost ran my dog and me off the trails. Also lots of homeless people hang out and do drugs. You have to watch where you walk because of needles and broken glass. trash all over the place and people don’t pick up after their dogs.
Took a nice walk here while visiting from out of town. Lots of people walking and biking early in the morning due to excessive heat in the afternoon. The hotel front desk said it’s safer to walk in the morning.
Best trail I’ve ever been. Could spend days there. Paced and a lot of sitting space along the way. Plantations and greenery too. 10/10 for me 😃👍🏽👍🏽
Wonderful, paved trail for cyclists, walkers, runners... families and singles.

Nice theater near a shopping area with ample restaurants. The screens are large, and the sound is great. This area is similar to Harkins Norterra.
We typically don’t go to this Harkins as are usual movie spot(it’s about 15 min extra away from our home). However, the cine XL is a must for certain movies! Also, there are some phenomenal employees there - Tyler Danzo for one and the gentleman with the long hair at the bar (sorry I forgot your name). These two individuals are genuine, caring, funny and really appreciate you being there. Thank you both for making a movie theater feel like home and creating a great experience!
With the Theater being so pack, I think the staff handle the motion very well. Lines were moving at a good place, people were getting the help they needed. It was a good experience at the end of it all of course seeing Lilo an Stitch was the best part!
Love this place been going there since opening with my family. Just has a charming atmosphere, the whole shopping plaza does. I will not go anywhere else to watch a movie.
Theater is always clean and check in is easy but the concession stand staff always takes way too long to fulfill orders. Even simple easy orders. Theaters sound great seats are comfortable and clean.
Very clean, nice people oh and they even have a bar.
We walked in already having tickets purchased and in-hand, then they still have you go through the ticket counter line. Completely useless person working at the ticket check line since our tickets had to be checked twice. Don't purchase ahead of time, it will only waste your time.
This is a great theater especially now that they've upgraded their seating to the more comfortable seats. This is a great location because there is shopping and dining close by in the area.

This was our first time here, went with our work group. The burgers were super good, we had 4 different types and everyone just loved them. Get the pretzel bun it's good. Check the pictures you'll have a better idea of what I'm talking about, we'll be back there soon
Although they have some great beer options like the blood orange IPA (and I hate IPAs) and the raspberry wheat, I keep coming back for their gateway blonde. If you like a perfect lager, the blonde is it. This place is a bit out of the way so I don’t visit as often as I used to, but if you have never been, check it out. It doesn’t feel like brewery, more of a bar restaurant serving typical American bar food (I’ve never eaten here) but come for the beer and you won’t be disappointed.
This is a solid bar and we really had a great time. Throne Brewing has been on my list of spots to check out as I’d heard they had a few sour beers on tap. That’s always a good sign. Upon driving up we almost didn’t go in because the lot looked dang near dead and boring. Don’t let that fool you. I’m so glad we went in. The bar itself is quite larger than it looks from the outside. There are pinball machines, lots of table seating, bar seating and yes even a throne. There weren’t many inside, but as time went on it got pretty busy. We were pleased to see a good size food menu and while we saw y and talked or a few people one women said she comes specifically for the Reuben and cheese curds. Not beer but the food. We’d already eaten so we decided we’ll come back again to have some food. Our bartender was great. She was friendly and when I told her I loved sours she recommended the Drekker SMOL blue razz sour and so I went with that. She did also bring me a sample of the other on tap, but I knew instantly she was right and the Drekker she recommended was so much better. The only bummer is everything else we ordered was on happy hour except my sours. That did not deter me because it was delicious ha ha. We will definitely be back. Great spot with so many better options than other breweries near by.
Decided to go during Happy Hour time. Great price on appetizers and brews. Had the sliders (3), which were very good. The pretzel bun really made it very good. Thrones Blood Orange IPA, also very good. I clearly tasted the orange which was perfect. Service excellent; the patrons at the bar were nice, friendly and gave me a couple of tips on food items to order on my next visit.
Has multiple sours to choose from. Delicious brussel sprouts, veggie platter and hamburgers. Just had meatballs as a trial option, delicious!
This is definitely a dive bar place. It was hard to find, and the parking lot can be a bit of a mess. There is another parking lot on the other side behind the building. The inside was massive and not too busy. Staff were super friendly when they made contact. Definitely understaffed, we saw 1 server, a couple of bartenders, and a manger o. The front of the house. My husband tried a few beers and really enjoyed them. My ghost wings were amazing, super spicy. The celery and carrots have seen better days. The celery was supersoft and was not even close to being fresh. The beer cheese for the pretzel was disgusting, but the pretzel itself wasn't bad. We also got a sampler with the fried pickles, which were not bad, but the sliders I would pass on are not very good at all. The reuben was OK, and the seasoning on the ghost fries were good. I really disliked all the cleanliness or the lack of it. The kitchen and main area was not up to par. I'm not sure we would go back after this first impression. We saw another table get up and leave due to no customer service. They have regulars, and they seem to really enjoy this place.
We came in on a whim to kill time. We expected typical bar food. My god were we wrong. The mac and cheese was hands down THE best I've ever had! Brats were fantastic. And the beer? Forget it, so amazingly delicious. Service was absolutely amazing, we felt like regulars by the time we left. Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed every moment spent here.
This is the second time my parents have gone and my first - wife got to go last time. Food was absolutely on spot both times and it is clean and well maintained inside! For this visit alone, you cannot go wrong with the Bratwurst, wings, Reuben and fries. Our bartender and server, Kyle, kept up in check with us and had a great knowledge of the company; definitely an employee you want working for you! Highly recommend stopping in for their Amber or Blood Orange draft - and give their Mead a try, I rather enjoyed it! Will definitely be back and kudos to Kyle for his great attitude and personality with the customers!!

Our daughter wanted to have her birthday party at AZ Ice. Thanks to the suggestion of Devon, an employee of the establishment, we were able to visit the location and reserve a Sunday afternoon. It was such a pleasant experience.. we went with there party plan (see online for details).. which was 1 hour in the party room and then 3 hours of skating time. Everyone who attended was happy and enjoyed it. Our "Party Pro", Natalie?, was great. They had an issue with one of the soda dispensers, and they went out of their way and bought two 2 liters in to satisfy the party goers. Thanks to all the staff as they were all amazing. I highly recommend AZ Ice Peoria for a party venue. 5* AAA 😎👍👍
I’ve been skating for years…..Do not come here unless you want to get hurt by entitled kids who skate like the rink is their playground. Absolutely no regard for the safety of others let alone the new skaters who are just learning to skate. Staff needs to step up their game and make safety more of priority. Someone is seriously going to get hurt. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Great experience. I never had believed that my 4 year old would love to go ice skating. We will definitely come back.
Great place most of the time, hard to avoid the annoying kids sometimes though. It's like a day care not a skating rink. Parents will leave their kids there with no accountability for their behavior. Only reason it's 4/5 is because I met the loml here!
Decent ice, fairly clean facility, & pro-shop. Love the big viewing windows for each rink, stands, & lobby set-up. Lighting for North Pole ice is terrible. Snack bar (not a restaurant) needs some quality control. Prepackaged items & beverages are standard & safe. Friendly staff, but foods choices & flavor of grease & grill leave a lot to be desired.
Been coming to this place for as long as they’ve been open. I wish we had more places like these around. The enjoyment of your experience goes up ten fold when it’s 115* outside 😂. Learn to skate, they have lessons and whenever I’ve gone the crowds and staff are friendly.
Staff is friendly, free lessons for the kids, live the military discount! It makes it affordable to take the kids for a skate. Thank you!
Great place early in the morning. I’ve only been once but everyone is really welcoming and it was a good place to celebrate a birthday.

This is a great track to come and ride your dirt bike. My grandson races here just about every week and this track is challenging for him and has helped him grow, he is really getting great out there. The races that they put on are well managed and the place is a safe and great place to ride.
It was awesome to see races on a dirt track!! There was Sport mods, late models and stock cars!! People were out having fun!! Enjoying the weather while we can!! Come support the racers and all involved!! After Arizona Speedway was almost abruptly shut down, but will finish out season!! You gotta see them live while we can!! Next race at Canyon is May 1st!! 🚗 GO!!
First time here and we are definitely coming back. Staff is great and seem happy to help if you need it. Not overcrowded and the visitors are friendly too. Fair admission and good beer/ for prices. Check this place out.
Fun for the whole family the food ain't bad and at a good price bring something soft to sit on its just metal bleachers
Well organized events...easy to find and plenty of parking
I enjoyed the races all of them I put on a good show
Fun place to race and visit. Very cool staff and friendly environment.
Great races, though they get pretty dusty by the time the last few mains are being raced. The crowd is always full of friendly people, and those that work there are always pleasant. Unless you don't mind being assaulted by "race track boogers" ( mud flung into the stands by tires on the track) sit up high. All in all, we love going to the races at Canyon Speedway.

Great hike! We did the full 4.82 mile hike on the outer loop. It has some good climbs and great views (1.6 mi. ascent, 1.8 mi. decent). It took us and our 14 year old son a it the over 2 hours to complete. I drained an entire 3 liter CamelBak on the trip so I recommend bringing plenty of water. Also, good shoes are needed as there is lots of loose gravel. The elevation change was around 470 ft. (1200 ft to 1670 ft).
World class Spring hiking with everything in flower. Beautiful views from the mountain bike switch-back trail - great for an early morning hike.
Beautiful hike, well maintained, moderately steep. Start at Westwing Park to find the trail. First spur to the first peak is a scramble so watch for falling rocks.
If you’re using maps, you’ll never find it. It took us to some random neighborhood that was gated. No signs in the surrounding area and we drove around for at least 20 minutes. We ended up leaving because we couldn’t find the entrance to the trailhead. Really poorly labeled and address wasn’t helpful as it didn’t lead us to the main entrance.
Good calorie burner for your Fitbit stepping gadget's...in my opinion. Even though you might to have to make two giants steps for a normal of 4-6. I dont as long as I get mine!
Trail is well defined, saw families with kids so its not super hard. But its very rocky, wear good shoes. Trail system is long, so you can feel secluded.
Trail was well maintained. Views were amazing!
Thanks Peoria for developing and maintaining the hiking trails at Calderwood Butte, West Wing and Sunrise Mountain. Fun and challenging, pretty well signed and best of all - readily accessible. Can't wait to visit again!

We have been wanting to check out Winery 101, a family owned and operated tasting room in Peoria, AZ. The reviews we have read indicated their Arizona wines are solid and the tasting room is said to offer an intimate, fun atmosphere. Both of these bragging points were spot on. We really enjoyed the wine and talking shop with Irlyn Gallifant, who is the owner operator with her wine-making husband Gavin. They make wines under the Gallifant Cellars and Southpaw (Irlyn and Gavin are both lefties) Cellars labels. It is near the Glendale stadiums' restaurant and entertainment direct, with Winery 101 offering its own Friday-Sunday music scene. We love supporting the Arizona wine industry, and this establishment is a great place to do that.
An amazing tasting room that is a comfortable place to get an amazing glass of local wine reasonably priced and some nosh as well. Love the welcoming environment, great conversation and mouth-watering wine. I encourage all to check this place out.
So glad we found Winery 101 a couple years ago, the wines are always delicious and everyone is very friendly. Sad to say goodbye however there are so many good memories 🙂.
Had such a great time! Owner Gavin and his wife (didn't catch her name) we're friendly and inviting. Our server Cortez, was fun and light hearted. We were a big crazy loud group and they handled it well!
New to Arizona from Oregon and this was the only place near us doing wine tasting. I rate this a five more on our server Vince who was very knowledgeable and personable. The wine was very good but not what we are used to. We will definitely be going back.
Great wine selection, awesome staff (Rueben specifically was an excellent host that took pride in his work), and a comfortable atmosphere with live music.
I pretty much gave up on finding a decent AZ wine, until I happened to stop at their tasting room up in Cottonwood several years ago. Everything I tasted there was delicious and my wife and I ended up signing up for their wine club. Now we have a wonderful wine spot to go to and grab several bottles! The people are always friendly and the love music is great. Not to mention the wonderful wine! Edit - My favorite is Sweet Swinging Ernie!
Awesome wait staff in Ruben. He is knowledgeable and friendly. Wine is great and Arizona grown. A must for anyone who loves wine

Today I visited the place and had a fantastic experience. The facility was large and clean, with plenty of routes for all skill levels. They teach beginners everything and answer all your questions. the price was very reasonable, making it accessible for frequent visits. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in climbing; it's fun for children, and private coaches are available. It's a great place to have fun and get a good workout.
First time, climbing and I love how big this place is and I love the auto belayers that make it easier to learn especially when you’re climbing alone ! Bought some chalk for 1.50 which was cool 30 (harness and rental shoes) 22 (if you have both)
great first time! introduced our 3 year old to climbing. staff was super patient getting her into her harness & explaining the different climbing options if it's your first time...save time by registering online. there is a fairly lengthy disclaimer to read and initial.
First time climbing and the staff were great! They made sure we were all comfortable and understood the safety. We were a big group without a reservation and they got us signed in and climbing quickly. Fantastic experience all around.
I LOVE this place!! I bought a Groupon for my grown kids & I, & we all had a blast!! The staff is really nice & helpful. There are climbing & bouldering options for almost any age and skill level. Since none of us has been rock climbing before we weren't sure what to expect, but we ended up being there for 3 hours without noticing how long it had been. The only reason we left was because we were all hungry & sore from a great workout. It's hard to impress an18 year old & even he had the best time & looked into getting a membership. They actually have tons of options, including family memberships. We are going back next week & will surely make Ape Index a regular part of family time. If you are looking for a way to get the family active ( or just yourself) and interacting with each other, this is a fantastic way to do it! It would make a great gift or birthday party too!
My daughter and I went for the first time and we ABSOLUTELY loved it!!! We already bought passes to come back! The staff was friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we were hoping for- a little crash course and then turned to our own devices to play around on the climbing walls. We can't wait to come back!!! One suggestion though- I recommend keeping the water fountains cleaner, they were pretty ill-maintained. I get it's a rock climbing gym and there's powder all over the place, which is fine! But just a quick wipe is all! I swear by using water and vinegar (works great for water stains!!) Love this place!!!
Great place! The guy at the front desk was very helpful and patient with our very large group of kids! Walked us around the gym and showed us how everything worked. Definitely will be going back.
Had a great time. Was our first time and Emanuel did a great job explaining all the ins and outs for us. Was a good workout and healthy way to face my fear of heights.
