The amount of times we have been to this municipal park and pier area in the past couple of weeks! It is an extremely nice place to fish, to hangout, they have a restaurant, the bathroom is really nice and fully equipped with 7 rolls of toilet paper rolls lmao . But we have caught a Bull shark, string ray, croaker, white trout, hardhead cat fish so far. And others redfish drum sail catfish fish, we saw someone yesterday catch a 3 foot black tip shark too! So all around it is just a very nice clean place! They also have their own cutting boards with water hoses on some of them! Enough trash cans so no excuses to litter! We get about 5000 steps just walking to and from lol so a nice place to excerise too! There's a each area, and playground, a place to do music bands, weddings, etc it's really the whole package! I recommend getting hooked coming to this place too ;p
Amazing and wonderfully place for evening walkings with family, friends ☺️ Beautifully sunset watching
Nice spot for a hang with the family. The park is fairly straightforward. The view of the water and the picnic area is what makes it worth the visit. Aside from that it’s just an average park with nothing special for kids.
Finally got a chance to eat at the Blind Tiger restaurant. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is excellent. In door out door dining and surrounded by water.
Children had fun, they could feed fish and turtles in a pond, Bay water was not completely clean but I saw people swimming and having a blast.
Beautiful sunset! Clean pier. Beautiful rose garden
Nice municipal pier! Beautiful view!
Awesome walk! Very large space, great views. Friendly parking. The Blind Tiger is a must for a refreshing drink.

A must stop. You learn so much of Fairhope history. So interesting and the workers are friendly.
A really nice location encapsulating the story of Fairhope AL. Michael the docent was really knowledgeable and shared history and info about all the displays with historic reverence.
Great little museum with lots of cool history. Interactive. Highly recommend.
I almost skipped this little museum, but I’m so glad I stopped by! An old fire truck and equipment. Antique tools, clothing, and toys. Pre-Colombian arrowheads. 3D pictures. Newspaper clippings from past years. My overall favorite is the collection of whimsical woodcarvings on the second floor, but the most educational part might be the two old jail cells on the bottom floor—it’s shocking to see how little space prisoners had.
.What an experience. I came to this town by chance but I also don't believe in coincidence. This 2 floor museum is full of history and surprises. I didn't know about Organic Education or Single Tax corporation. The relics of history here are vast and can't say enough about the man at the door with the Mayor sign on desk. Hilarious and true asset to the character of museum. The photos and biographies are in murals and videos here and it quaint yet spacious enough to roam. Very well organized and interesting like the town of Fairhope itself
I've never stopped and explored Fairhooe as I did yesterday. I have always wanted to stop & explore the beautiful little historic town that my grandmother was from, but when I came upon the adorable (FREE) museum I had to stop. It featured the first firetruck, jail, and many other wonderful things including the notable people of Fairhope. If you love history & historic this, this is definitely one to stop & admire.
There was a lot of information packed into this little museum. There is no admission and everyone is friendly and helpful. It is wheelchair accessible as well.
Fascinating! Free!

Tried 7 beers and they were all very good. I like ipas but enjoyed them all. The Belgian wheat was amazing. Mallory made the tasting quite fun… she knows a lot about the beers and, despite being busy, found time to make everyone feel like they were regulars.
A nice brewery in suburban Alabama, I stopped on my way to Orange Beach. I arrived early on a Friday so it wasn't busy. I grabbed a seat at the bar and had several half pours while I read a little. I stuck to my usual pattern of ales and ipas. The fairhope was fairly dry, a nice departure from all the juicy/haziness I usually drink. The two IPAs I had were ok, I liked the blood orange slightly more, but neither blew me away. It's family and dog friendly, so it probably gets loud when busy. There is some outdoor seating if it isn't too hot.
Nice little jaunt led us to this gem of a brewery. Atmosphere was laid back with pleasant decor. Fun tin tackers abound and they even have aplenty for purchase. Like most craft breweries there are hits and misses across the menu based upon personal preferences of the particular patron. The flagship Blue Steel delivers a smackle of tartness that is refreshing on these warm autumnal days.
Great selection of beers—whether you’re into lagers, porters, sours, or seltzers, there’s something for everyone. Normally this would be an easy 5-star spot for me, but the bartender today really missed the mark. Zero personality, borderline rude. I left while she was mid-convo with a couple she clearly knew—didn’t acknowledge me once. Honestly, I’ve felt more welcome at a gas station
We had a great time at fairhope brewing company. We went on a Saturday night and they had live music and great beer can you really ask for more. The staff was super nice and answered all the beer questions you could have. The atmosphere was great just a ton of people have fun and drinking great beer. I highly recommend this place.
We’ve been here a few times and enjoyed it but this visit was a bust. Tried to order a flight and was told they don’t do flights on band nights because it’s “overwhelming.” (Band wasn’t playing yet and the lady was literally doing nothing but staring at us waiting for us to order.) Started to order and another bartender comes over and tells us we can’t sit there because they “try to keep that area open for orders.” Then why didn’t the other bartender say something at any point while I was moving a chair over to that spot? No clue what we were going to do wrong next, so we cut our losses and left.
Always a 5. Good service and good beers on tap. Looking forward to black Friday (hopefully this year we can get in). Didn't disappoint! So summer more seltzers and less beer... More porters and stouts needed.
Beer was delicious, and the customer service was spot on. The music was great & set the vibe.

The food we had here was delicious! We ate at Fairghope Burger Shop inside The Mill! I had the fried green tomato BLT with fries and my friends each had a burger and fries. Everything was hot and flavorful. Total gem inside a gem. Do yourselves a favor and check it out. Wonderful service too.
Great place to sit and watch a game. Dog friendly outside. The bar inside has a great selection of beers. The staff was extremely friendly, even allowing us to turn up the TV outside. We were half drunk already at noon, so I’m sure we were obnoxious. They were super friendly. After the game an owner of one of the restaurants inside had a nice conversation with us. He was also a Saints fan. Who Dat! Come see the game here, I’m definitely coming back.
I enjoyed eating lunch here, there are a couple of restaurant choices and a bar with lots of craft beer, wine and mixed drinks. It's a family friendly place but big enough so it's not crowded- more of like a warehouse. It's climate controlled and was comfortable even during the hot weather. There is outside dining available for cooler weather. My favorite was the Frenchie Burger, but I also had a catfish poboy on another occasion, both excellent. Prices are reasonable and service is good.
It's a walk up and order style restaurant so no service to rate, but the food was delicious. I got the apple chicken sandwich and highly recommend. The onion rings were also very tasty.
Unconventional dining, but great atmosphere. Our food was exceptional. Who knew fried chicken, pimento cheese and fried apples could work so well together on a sandwich?
I’m new to town and am checking out all of the local spots. I was very impressed with the Mill, the people who work there are very nice. This would be a great spot to watch a football game lots of tvs, good food, and a bar. I plan to go back sometime and look forward to their new online campaign to share specials with us all!
Great place to gather with friends for lunch. Fairhope Burger Co is at this location. Great burger even if a little pricey. If you're not interested in a burger there's another restaurant called Delta Soul. A friend ordered from there and said it was delicious.
Great place with great food! A very family friendly atmosphere and recently renovated! We enjoyed it! There isn't a restaurant in here that isn't worth stopping at and grabbing food. I personally love OX kitchen, but cereal killer and MaryAnns are great as well. You cant go wrong! If you have a family that can't decide - come here. They also have ping-pong and Cornhole outside. You just have to leave an ID to get the beanbags or paddles. Inside they have a small play place for younger kids. They've done a lot to the inside. If it's been a while since you've been, you should come back and check it out.

Many public areas in the United States are idle. They have good facilities and environment, are well maintained, and serve as teaching functions. The trail is far enough, so you can burn off some calories after walking around it.
Absolutely beautiful. Very nice trail. Kid friendly. So much beautiful plant and animal life to look at. And the view from the end of the water is absolutely stunning. If you love trails I can guarantee you will love this one!
Such a fun and educational *free* stop to do with the kids! There's a short nature trail with a scenic overlook. One of the highlights was the little area with a microscope where the kids could view things up close—such a big hit! Inside, they also had a collection of preserved animals and aquatic life that was really interesting to see. It’s the perfect quick stop to learn, explore, and enjoy nature without spending a dime. Highly recommend for families!
Inspirational, educational and beautiful. Great place to walk on wood paths to see a part of Weeks Bay not everyone knows about. Beautiful views of nature and the Bay. Need to unwind and relax? This is a great place to be. There's information and displays to help you know and what is there. The park guides are really great to talk with and answer questions. There are two State Reserves within a mile of each other. Highly recommend Weeks Bay Conservation Areas.
Located on hiway 98 by the Weeks bay bridge, this tranquil reserve offers walking path and educational center for free. Sponsored by the Audubon Society you can learn and experience about the critters that live in and around the marsh. Plenty of onsite parking and handicap parking and accessible. The center has a few lived displays of fish, snakes, and reptiles in enclosures displays and various other displays of locally found items such as pottery and hurricane balls. Admission is free and they offer educational tours for school children. The walking boardwalk is well maintained. With a pavilion at the end for viewing the bay. Benches for seating through out the path and pavilion. Wheelchair accessible but may be a little bumpy in areas but very little slopes. I went in fall and the weather was perfect for a stroll through the wooded surroundings where you can see and hear a variety of birds. Mosquitoes will be around when it’s warm so bring repellent and possibly sunscreen if you visit during the summer months. Volunteer opportunities if you’re interested in a variety of areas to choose from. Restrooms available and clean. Helpful staff. So if you’re looking for a nature walk that’s easy to get to and so enjoyable I highly suggest you check it out.
Ok SECRET TIP! before you turn in to their, there is another turn in to right when headed from fairhope direction, if headed from beach to left.. same side as main entrance is on…before main entrance! Park car in lot..walk down grass path and witness the beautiful oak tree! Then go left down another trail to pier. Good little mile or so walk. Bring your puppy! And both of yall water.
Visitors and locals should all make time to go here. I didn't even know what a pitcher plant was and they are growing and prominent in South Alabama. One of the coolest things I've learned and experienced lately.
Boardwalk through woods leads to a beautiful view. Great for bird watching or relaxation.

Watching Muffinjaw Designs blow and handle glass was such a cool experience. The artist was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend if you have any interest in learning the art. Thank you ESAC for providing this art experience.
I LOVE this art gallery. Well rounded place and just inspiring. I want to take their classes soon. They change the art out as well giving professional artists and hobby artists to show case their art. Local and elsewhere artist’s works are shown here. I also got to meet one of the artists, Bob Jones, while visiting which was so fun!
My father donated several unique items years ago and I was fortunate to be able to attend an event in which they were showcased.
Spent two days in Fairhope this past weekend taking Kim Bernadas Floral & Botanical Sculpture class. Kim was outstanding. She directed/guided us through creating multiple pieces of pottery using the flowers and veggies she brought to the classroom. I feel very fortunate to have had this creative workshop, meet Kim & time at the Eastern Shore Art Center. I will be back.
I have been a member at ESAC for 10 years...or more. I have taken pottery classes for all those years, and will continue. I seen this Art Center grow into an amazing gallery, with wonderful works of art from many cities, and the awesome local artists. So many talented instructors are teaching there, in all forms of art.
I hope for their sake they never host another pickleball event. Wait times were over an hour a match and they never knew what was going on.
I hate that I spent the day playing pickleball here in an unorganized tournament.
Please don't host anymore pickleball tournaments

I can see why they want to move this house but it makes me so sad. It seems like they would've prevented anything being built within so many square feet of it but that wasn't the case. Its a really lovely historical stop and worth the visit!
Free. Not a park like one would think it should look like. But, the old house is neat history to see it, even better to go inside it. Spent maybe 20 minutes at the location. There is talks about moving it in the future. Thats to bad, also sad to see so much buisness grew up so close to it. That should have never been allowed. I read somewhere that the man when he lived in his home slept in a hammock that hung up above the room. What a neat man and story he had.
I didn't even know this place existed right here in Fairhope until I attended an Eastern Shore Christian Singles Group who booked an event, including the history of Tolstoy Park. We were able to visit the place and meet the author, who wrote a book about the man who lived there and built the Hut. I would encourage anyone who likes history to check it out.
Very interesting little home in such an odd spot. I'm glad we stopped and took a look, not an everyday item when traveling but is definitely worth the stop. Also it's free.
Unique cute little house! Free to visit, and it's worth it if you want to see a quick little unique attraction in the area. We did a road trip to the southern states and decided to stop here. We didn't go too far out of our way. It was a quick visit with a few pictures. If we went far out of our way, it wouldn't be worth it. But it was cute and nice to see for a quick stop along the way!
Adorable little house. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area!
This place is worth a visit. It is located in a business plaza parking lot so don't be surprised when your GPS guides you into what seems like the wrong place. It is not visible right off hwy 98 but once you pull into the parking lot you can't miss it. We were able to park and visit the site without any issue. It is an interesting building and my kids loved seeing it and being able to go inside was a bonus. It made for a quick but interesting stop.
I read the book last year and wanted to see it for myself. So glad we did. I was saddened to see it in disrepair, but still worth the trip. It isn't easy to find so don't get discouraged, remember it is in a parking lot.

My wife shot me a facebook pic of this furniture last week. We went in and looked at it and the staff was so nice and pleasant to deal with. We looked as much as we could. It’s like Disney, you’re not going to see everything in one day. Today I went in and purchased it as a surprise for my wife, it was nice to meet the owner. She was extremely nice and friendly, I was very surprised to see her with the delivery guy when he delivered it. Customer service is above and beyond and I was very lucky to have it delivered the same day. I will be coming back and buying more pieces. If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars I would because they deserve it. Thank y’all for everything………
This is a lovely little antique "Booth" style store in Fairhope, Alabama. Parking was quite easy and it is much bigger on the inside than it appears. Prices are very fair but you're not necessarily going to get anything for a great steal.
This place has grown since we were there last! So much fun hunting for treasure! Well priced, clean, neat.. your next stop needs to be here!
Beautiful store with extremely nice people willing to help you with anything. The amount of unbelievable finds is incredible.
Beautiful place, from furniture to jewelry. Very well organized and clean. Must go to see all the treasures!
My wife and I visited and were pleasantly surprised with the variety, organization, and cleanliness. Staff was super friendly and there was so much to look at. I would highly recommend visiting in the area. Good hours and they have lots of cool things ranging from tools to furniture that everyone should have something they like.
This is an escape into the past, it's organized and has something for everyone. Much larger than what it looks like on the outside we spent a couple of hours shopping from stall to stall and reminiscing on the past.
Very neat and very nice people! I would recommend this store to anyone ... nice stuff with decent prices!

Huge, beautiful park with nautical-themed playground for all ages. Sections for toddlers, 2-5 year olds, and big kids. Incredible Splash pad to boot. Plenty of shade.
Nice, clean park with a toddler area and splash pad. Parking can be a bit tough at times, but other than that, the kids had a great time! the only tiny complaint I have is that it would be nice if the would put some sort of cover over the swings so the sun wouldn't heat them up so bad. The kids couldn't even swing.
I took my Granddaughter to this part a few days while she was visiting. The splashpad was a hit with her, and she loved all the playground equipment. The park was, for the most part, clean with little trash around. The kids playing had fun and were engaging.. :-) as kids usually are.! In the evening, there were a few teens that dropped by, they were noisy, yet respectful. no foul language, just goofing off. While she was here, I think we went 3-4 times, and each time, she found something new to play with or engage in. Only negative, the chimes, drums, and such need maintenance. One of the drum heads was broken, and several of the chimes isolation pads were broken. Restrooms were clean ! Nice work Fairhope!
Very nice community park that geared towards children. Multiple playground and splash pad. This is the ideal place for a kids party! Highly recommend for anyone who has children and need something to do.
Amazing space! Playground is so cute with lots of different styles of playground equipment. Small grassy park that you can lay mats on to hang out in or have a picnic. Splash pad is super cute that's pirate themed. Restroom is available and clean. Some public parking spaces available close by. We went on a weekday afternoon so the crowd was manageable.
This beautiful park is a perfect spot to cool off on a hot HOT day! There are lots of shady spots among the swings, climbers, and interactive toys, plus the wet and wild Pirate's splash pad offers lots of clean, cool fun!
Very nice place, we traveling with my 3 year old daughter and stopped today near this beautiful place. Big trees, playground for for small and bigger children, nice splash playground, restroom. Adults can make some workout while they kids playing. Good and clean place.
Wonderful park for kids. Splash park and all kinds of different things for them to play on. It has a bathroom in the park and is enclosed by a fence with a gate. It's always very clean. Best children's park in Baldwin County that I've found so far. It was remodeled in the last few years and is very safe.

Don't miss visiting here - not the typical "mall" atmosphere - probably one of the best decorated antique stores I have ever been in. Plan on spending 30 mins admiring the decorations/layout, and another 30 mins browsing antiques. Take your camera so you can get pictures for decoration tips. Prices $-$$$.
Sid and Linda have a passion for antiques and will help you find anything you're looking for. Their shop has a variety of new and antique items, and the vendors each have their own style. Love this place!
Awesome place. The one thing you love but don't know it yet is there. You just have to browse and find it.

Such a cool place. If you are looking for a magical morning and a little bit of peace this organic blueberry farm is for you! They give you a bucket and you go pick the blueberries you want! Doesn’t get any fresher than this. They also have other organic vegetables like squash, Tomatoes, peppers. The owner is super nice and went out of his way to help us. Great spot for vegans and vegetarians to come check out. They even have farm stay cabins there as well.
Delicious u-pick organic blueberries! We've also attended the harvest nights with live music and rented the tree house airbnb that is on property!
Rip off on trailer rental. The trailer is a fire trap, held together with duct tape, covered in mold. Was promised a refund and still have not received it. The other rentals do not fair much better. Do not want anyone else to get ripped off like we did. Extension cord running to the trailer just enough to run the refrigerator. Whole place run down.
Best blueberries I have ever put in my mouth and they make great jam. The people that own it are absolutely awesome!!
Great place for adults and children. Prices are comparable for area. We purchased peppers, tomatoes, herbs, lettuce and honey. Friendly staff and great place to visit!
