Urshered in with care ❤ The staff are great. Always an important part of the experience. We had great seats. The venue was clean and we ( my group ) were very comfortable. Came to hear Elizabeth Gilbert! Great evening! Would recommend this venue for a show. Thank you!
Excellent music venue. There’s a walkway to and from the metro station. They had a buffet style menu that opens 90 mins before the performance. Really well organized, friendly staff.
Beautiful facilities and very comfortable seating. The acoustic in the hall are quite good. The parking is a bit tricky because you have to either park at the metro or on the street. Other than that it is a great venue. They have a small cafe and bar in the hall. Clean and convenient bathrooms as well.
Fantastic performing arts center. If you're looking for another alternative to the Kennedy Center, you have found it. Excellent acoustics and not a bad seat in the house. And free parking in the Metro parking lot on weekends - direct access by pedestrian bridge on the 4th level.
We had a great time watching the jurassic park viewing with live orchestra. We would definitely come back as the musicians were talented and the venue was very nice. Comfortable seats! I wouldn't eat/drink there. To bring a drink with you while watching you need to purchase a $5 cup in addition to the price of a drink.
Attended the Black Violin - Full Circle Tour, the performance of two amazing violinist, Wil Baptist & Kev Marcus. The Strathmore is another nice place to visit for an evening out. Ths restaurant food was very good. The roasted chicken, the mixed veggies & broccolini and fish chowder was delicious
The Strathmore is beautiful! I can’t believe I’m just now attending concerts here. This would be my second time attending a concert here and I had a fantastic. I definitely recommend keeping tabs on what they have going on throughout the year. They have something for everyone. Most recently I attended the Black Violin tour. Wow it was phenomenal. I will definitely be back next year!
extraordinary acoustics (“wood sounds good”), certainly perfect for what we experienced (Soweto Gospel Choir of South Africa). a gorgeous venue with chef-inspired food and drink options before the show. prepare yourself for a full house exiting from the garage…s-l-o-w-l-y. or take the metro and skip the creeping traffic. the pictures on the website do it (the hall) justice.

Had a great morning here! Kids played in the playground and then we rode the train. Plenty of shade which is nice just make sure to wear bug spray! Did not go into the restrooms but they are available if needed. Love the huge dog park that is also shaded to keep dogs cool. I recommend getting train tickets early as it gets busy on the weekends! The train tickets as of this post are $3.50 per person. 2 and under free!
This is an excellent choice to go with children and pets. The dog park is big and pleasant. The ride on the miniature train is fantastic, surrounded by a beautiful forest. The playground is huge, with a variety of games adapted for different ages. It also has a clean and spacious picnic area.
Beautiful wooded park with a cute miniature train. They have an Adventure Land park just for little kids with rest rooms nearby.
A wonderful park that has a train for kids to ride. There are paths, picnic areas, dog park and a large playground.
This is one of our fave parks in the area. Lots of different play areas spread out for different age groups. It's particularly great in the summer because there is ample shade in most of the play areas. Kids also love the train that runs by - check online for available times to ride. They do i-spy for Halloween and other special holidays too!
Beautiful park! Great for kids, and the train ride is such a treat.
Amazing plan. The Halloween version was lovely. My 4 year old girl couldn't have enjoyed it more!!! We also enjoyed a very nice picnic after the train.
My husband surprised us on family day today with a trip to this park. What a pleasant surprise! Our grade school and preschool children both had so much fun. It had many different playground structures so kids weren't on top of each other. As we were studying the map we found out that there are walking trails, tennis, camping and so much more! We will definitely visit again as the weather warms up. The only negative things I can say are about the bathrooms and water fountains. The fountains weren't on but they may not turn them on until warmer weather appears steadily. The bathrooms were very dirty as well. At least they had toilet paper but they need a good disinfecting. Overall we liked this place!

FIVE STARS for The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show at the Imagination Stage in Bethesda, MD! Adults and children were captivated and loved the performances! Unfortunately, no photos allowed, so I'm sharing some photos of a kids park just TWO blocks away! Very helpful information for parents or grandparents who arrive a bit early or need time to stretch before the ride home!
We thoroughly enjoyed "Miss Nelson is Missing" back in July, however, there was a staff member that was completely rude to my 9 year old son. I really hope she's gone now. My son barely grazed the stage with his finger as we were leaving and she barked at him for touching it. What is the point of having a theater for children if you're worried about little hands touching things?
My six year old went to see Frog and Toad and it was funny, entertaining and the acting/singing was superb! Only $9 per ticket. The theater does run cold as actors get sweaty on stage. The show did start about 5-6 min late and lasted an hour. Younger and older children were present and they all seem engaged. Definitely a must visit! I would even see it again!
My 6 year old nephew was left behind in a park under their supervision during spring break camp. No one realized he was missing until he walked back. He found his own way back
Fun and entertaining places, which is great for community building.
Beautiful building with different spaces suitable for different events and activities. Good location, too.
Just finished watching my kid's final performance sharing after 12 weeks learning session and it was such a disappointing and uncomfortable experience. The only 2 Asian girls were arranged to stand at the very edge and my daughter wasn't even facing the audience rather facing the wall. I wonder whether she was always put at the edge with limited engagement to the class but I can't get answer as adults are not allowed to watch classes.
What a great theater! I didn't know theaters that were so kid friendly existed. I live in Northern VA, and it only took 45 minutes to get there. I will forever be in awe of everything that goes into creating the magic of a play. The performers were incredible. I can't wait to go back.

A beautiful theater was a simple yet classy atmosphere. I came here for Next To Normal and was surprised by the nice foyer. I got a cookie and a coffee; both very good and I highly recommend the coffee. The service was very good and everyone seemed happy. The stage was small, making for a more intimate feel to this emotional musical. A projector was used and worked well, so it seems the production quality potential is high here. Overall, I am very satisfied with Round House Theatre, and will be coming back next time I see something I like. 5 Stars!
I went to see both parts of The Inheritance in October 2025. I was blown away by the quality of the production. It was beautifully set and tightly directed. The acting was fabulous. I was really surprised at the quality I have good friends I go to Studo Theater with regularly. They saw the inheritance on Broadway and said the roundhouse version was better. I can believe it. It’s a great and cozy space. All seats are pretty close to the stage.
My wife and I went to the Clay and Reecie Beyond The Mic live show. It was amazing. The venue was nice. Sold out show. Would definitely go again.
Another great production at Roundhouse! Superb acting, outstanding direction and beautiful production values!
A really amazing space with no bad seats. Saw The Inheritance- currently playing- amazing play!
Wow. The seating is amazing and the venue is great. Truly believe there is not a bad seat in the house. Not as big as others, but this adds to the charm. Seasonal specialty cocktails were really good. Rotating food selection is ok, but that’s not really why you visit. Overall a fantastic venue to see your favorite show.
We have had a subscription at Signature for a few years. We looked for a change from there musical format and subscribed to Roundhouse. Best move We ever made. The Inheritance literally blew us away! What a piece of theatre!!! Hopefully the rest of the season will ba as outstanding.
Love Roundhouse! I've seen Spring Awakening, The Tempest, Ink, The Mountaintop, and Next to Normal. I really appreciate the free student ticket opportunity and all of their productions are phenomenal. As an actor, I hope to someday perform on the stage.

Large enough for several different exhibits. Varied art types when I visited including sculptures and paintings
Closed. No access. No info posted. Kept knocking at the door. No main entrance labeled. Very bad experience. In the end we were told that to visit you have to make a reservation!!!!
Closed during opening hours
We tried to call two times and we also looked at the map and it said closing soon not until 1:30 we got there like at 12, we waited outside to see if anyone was around. But we couldn't get in we decided to leave, please update your schedule if you are close don't put it closing soon because that will be confusing everyone. Should probably have someone near the door also to see if they can let us in, we would love to see the statues but didn't get to.
Glorious, educational, inventive, making the old, new and alive. A treasure in Bethesda for all those who may be museum-averse, who want to learn about the diversity and oneness of art and humanity. GR
Wonderful little place. Great spot to hold community meetings for almost any type of event. Hosts were fabulous people to work with.
Beautiful, creative and funny sculptures. Biblical people seem to come alive.

We discovered this doctor through TikTok and decided to check it out. The experience was truly impressive—professional, thorough, and extremely helpful. The clinic is conveniently located near the city parking garage, so parking is not an issue. If you're dealing with spine-related issues, I highly recommend paying a visit.
We grabbed carryout, and everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully packed. I had the Mango Green Tea, and my daughter had the Peach Green Tea — both were refreshing and filled with juicy chunks of real fruit. The flavors were light, not too sweet, and perfect for a hot day. Great first experience — can’t wait to go back and try more! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a flavorful fruit tea with a fun twist. 🍑🥭
Beautiful, happening place, all brands available, good eateries. Had nice Tea at Teazzi. Yummy pastries from Levain bakery
Beautiful area. Enjoyed food at Maman and a nice walk thru the shops with my wife and child.
We enjoyed a morning walk around downtown Bethesda. We were early so most of the shops were not open yet (they open at 11), but there were a few restaurants open for coffee and breakfast. The streets were nice and clean, and besides for the heat, it was a lovely stroll.
Great area.Love to visit when I travel to see my family
This is a quite unique site in Washington Metro Area, a European-city style street with small and nice shops and cafés, full of people from the neighborhood walking and hanging out. One of the nicest places to visit outside DC.

Bethesda Theater is wonderful place to see a show. Lots of seating options, tables up close and seats in the back. The sound quality and sight lines are great. The food options were tasty.
We were here for the first time in December for a show. I bought tickets online the day before and there were not many seats available - all the table seats were sold out. I checked other peoples reviews on Google before buying the tickets to see what the view might be like from the seats in the back and it didn’t look bad. I can verify, it’s a preset small theater and we could see and hear pretty well. When you buy tickets online it advises you that there is a $20 minimum food and beverage purchase required per person. This applies to the table areas. We were in the seated section so I can’t comment on the quality of the food or table service. We could have ordered food at the bar and ate it back in the seats but we ate prior to coming plus really it would have been a bit awkward to eat dinner in the seated area also we basically met the minimum with two cocktails. 20% gratuity is added to your bill automatically and that was fine with me - just noting here so you are aware. The musicians were great and the sound was good. The only trying I will say is other patrons in the seated area were doing a lot of talking during the performance. I’m not sure if that is typical for this venue or if a lot of friends and family of the performers were in attendance and that maybe was why but it was distracting. We were in section W and people in the two rows in front of us were having conversations the entire time. I don’t know why people do this but don’t be that person. Come and enjoy the show and discuss your personal problems before or after or maybe go out in the lobby to talk. Anyway - nice theater to see a show and maybe get dinner.
We went to a concert (Sunshine Anderson and Christopher Williams). The venue is fairly nice. There is a MANDATORY minimum order amount of $20 so we ordered drinks which were okay. On top of the mandatory minimum order amount, they also add an additional 20% gratuity but it does NOT go to the servers. I paid $50 for two drinks. That is absolutely absurd!!!! I know everything is more expensive these days but I feel like this is a bit much.
We really enjoyed our night out to see Will Downing. The hostess was polite as she walked us to our table. Our waiter was super nice and all of the young men who assisted with bringing the food and drinks were very friendly. Great atmosphere. I look forward to returning to see more concerts. The only concern is the sound system seemed a little off.
Great show with Howard Hewett. However, the food choices were not great. Especially the broccolini was awful. The prices and fees for the food were way over priced. Along with the fees. I practically paid more for the dinner than I did for the tickets. Not kosher at all. But we loved Howard.
We only had appetizers! We put our entree order in before the show started and about 45min. later we were asked to close our bill out. Our server forgot our order. Oh, they ran out of what we ordered, so we didn't get an entree according to our server. You might want to order everything at once well before the show starts to reassure you get the full experience. The appetizers were decent, and came out pretty quickly. The show was great! Service was below expectation. I would go again, but on a full stomach.
It was my first time there, and seeing MC Lyte was the best way to do it! Lyte put on a amazing show! She took out time to welcome us into her "living room" and talked about her love of music and her mom (may she RIP). She shared some of her favorite old school songs (and mine) which was so refreshing. Bethesda Theater is a nice place. The setup, the staff, and Bangal Shrimp were great! However, their collard greens need some hot sauce. I had to send them back because they were cold. Never again. I suggest you eat before you go.
Absolutely fantastic venue, Bethesda is lucky to have such a place! Food is great, music is always top notch, and its always a blast. Of course sometimes service might not be the fastest, but for a venue that doesn't just do food but also music, its hard to get everything at 5 stars, but they do!

We would like to express our gratitude to Waverly Street Gallery for curating such a remarkable exhibition. Their commitment to showcasing diverse voices and perspectives within the art community is commendable.
A nice little art gallery close to Bethesda Metro station. Nice selection of rotating exhibitions, though not as good as the ones in the Smithsonian or the National Gallery of Art in D.C. Still, visit this if you like. You won't regret it.
Great art done by local artists who honed their craft in putting many years of efforts to improve their personal way of expressing themselves through their chosen medium. A new show every month. Warm opening reception. Worth following.
We came here on a Friday for one of their receptions. The room was full of art as well as people. Most everyone seemed to know each other, so they must either be regulars or some kind of society. They had wine (nothing fancy, just Barefoot and Yellowtail), ceramics, paintings, photographs, and plenty of cardboard boxes lying around.
This is a tiny treasure with a garage and easy parking right next to it. Also, right by Bethesda Metro. Consistently lovely works of art by interesting painters and other art mediums.
Very well-appointed gallery, with a nice mix of styles (and price points). All local artists of very high quality.

A welcoming church, centered on the truth of God's Word. The preaching is clear, direct, understandable, and passionate. Always Bible-based teaching from the pulpit and in the classrooms. Sunday morning classes for ALL ages, as well as 3 worship services in the morning and 1 in the evening. Did I mention the music? An organ that fills the entire house with a beautiful rich sound, masterfully played. Large choir directed by gifted conductor provides support for the worship service that is glorious. Music opportunities for musicians of all ages, both vocal and instrumental, even bell ringing!
I had the pleasure of visiting Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD, and I can confidently give it a five-star rating. From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of community. The church itself is beautifully designed, with a serene and peaceful interior that invites reflection and worship. The architecture is impressive, creating a comfortable space for both individual prayer and communal gatherings. The sanctuary is spacious yet intimate, making it a perfect place for services and special events. One of the standout features of Fourth Presbyterian Church is its commitment to fostering a sense of belonging among its members. The congregation is incredibly friendly and inclusive, making newcomers feel right at home. During my visit, I was greeted by several members who were eager to share information about the church's programs and activities. The church offers a variety of services and events throughout the week, catering to all age groups. From engaging sermons to community service projects, there is something for everyone. I was particularly impressed by their outreach efforts and dedication to supporting those in need within the community. Additionally, the church provides excellent resources for spiritual growth, including study groups and fellowship opportunities. It’s clear that Fourth Presbyterian Church is not just a place of worship but also a vibrant hub for connection and support. In summary, Fourth Presbyterian Church is a wonderful place for anyone looking for a community-oriented church experience in Bethesda. With its welcoming atmosphere, engaging programs, and beautiful facilities, I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place to grow in faith and fellowship!
Was there for a memorial service with my spouse. This is a huge church, but everyone was extremely friendly. It will be nice to return when. The renovation of their sanctuary is completed.
Very kind and loving church reaching out to support the community. Wonderful pastors and members who love God and people.
Amazing worship with an orchestra and organ. Absolutely beautiful service with a great message. The building is stunning, and everyone was very hospitable. Highly recommend.
Great Church, tremendous pastor preaching/teaching the Bible, amazing worship service, and very friendly folks.
I attended a number of meetings getting to know church members here. They all seemed friendly. However, when I expressed my disappointment with the US Republican leader Donald Trump, they all defended him and none of them agreed with my concerns. What's more, when I reached out the church members no longer responded to my emails. It's very hard for me to understand how Christians can support someone who is so cruel and un-Christlike.
Our favorite church where everybody is welcome! Thanks to my friend Evelyn for introducing this place to us!

So many stalls. Lots of variety! Love the live music! Parking available at the market.
One of the best markets I've been to! The variety of items was great and the food options were fantastic. My tip would be to go there as soon as they open to avoid parking issues and make sure to bring a large tote with you for all the items you're gonna haul 🙂
This is one of the best markets I've been to. It has just about anything you can think of. Great selection of fresh, local produce, eggs, meats, baked goods and many others.
Parking is always a problem, but the market is top notch. Fresh food, fresh flowers, produce, pet products, crafty items, baked goods, and several gluten free places.
The farmers market is sizable and has a variety of vendors: produce, ready-to-eat foods (crepes, arepas, scones, popsicles, etc), baked goods, coffee, smoothies, pet treats, butcher/s fish mongers, and more! They also have a live band with a small selection of chairs and tables nearby. Delightful!
Jinlan bulgogi beef dumplings and side sauce are delicious! Thanks. I’ll be back for those and to try some of your others. (But the scones at the stand across the aisle were dry and tasteless, unfortunately.)
There are some very good vendors at this market (cheese, fruits/veggies, dairy, meats), however the market experience is terrible. It is far too cramped and crowded. Let's start with the large number of dogs - even if they're on leash. There are far too many and as a dog lover who worked in the animal welfare industry, it is a terrifying experience our four-legged friends to be in such a confined space with so many people and other distractions (food, other dogs, small children, etc). Then we have the people with wagons or buggies, not to mention numerous baby strollers. On top of that, let's throw in a band playing in the middle of an already over-crowded walkway. While the music is a nice touch, It is a nightmare to navigate around the folding chairs assembled around the band. Finally, let's add in a dose of hyper-aggressive shoppers who are afraid to miss out on the perfectly ripe berries or tomatoes. This market is not for the faint hearted. I will stay away as it is not worth the aggravation, but I will miss some of the vendors.
One of the largest, if not the largest market, I've been to in MoCo. The variety of fresh goods, foods, and items make this an easy place to come and visit. Did I mention it's dog friendly too?

i love this pool ive been going here for 4+ years and it’s my favorite pool in the area! i 100% recommend
I like this pool and the service is good. But they have a very poor policy called “safety breaks” when everyone has to exit the pool for 15 or 30 minutes supposedly for their safety so they can “hydrate” in the heat. I have fainted twice outside the pool during the 30 minute break since no matter how much water one drinks, it is just too hot and I can not cool down when outside the water. It is much safer healthwise to be in the water when it is too hot, not outside in the heat!
Great pool. Opens @ 1pm Safety break @ 2;30. Non residents pay 20$
Great outdoor pool, very clean with several spots to side down on the shade and have a picnic! Toddler pool is perfect for the little ones, shaded and 1ft deep.
The pool is good and clean, but service is bad. Some of the staff are rude, especially the cashier at the entrance door who was not friendly to the guests. also, there is an unreasonable rule that they require adluts must pay the tickets even they only bring kids to swim there. Rockville swimming pool doesn’t has this rule. It is friendly and feel much better. I recommend to go that one if you want to bring kids for swimming.
The best pool to go to on a hot day! Incredibly clean and family friendly. I can watch my kids play knowing they’re safe #nervousmommasunite. Thanks to the friendly lifeguards bethesda pool has my heart. Highly recommend.
Decent large pool, but the facilities leave a lot to be desired and in need of an update. Not nearly enough seating and deck chairs. No food service available.
The adults have to pay even when they are not going to swim very dirty requires maintenance the staff were really rude

Overall, our experience at Gallery B was exceptional. We left feeling inspired, enlightened, and grateful for the opportunity to witness such incredible talent and be a part of a welcoming and inclusive artistic community.
Really enjoyed our experience here! We saw quite a few artworks that were very beautiful. The gallery is in a very convenient location and I truly appreciate how Bethesda has spent many years helping to supporting artists and the arts, in general. With arts funding being annihilated by people who prefer giving tax cuts to the wealthy, we're thrilled to support local galleries. We also had the benefit of talking to two artists whose work was on display and learning so much about how they create their amazing pieces. Amazingly, one of the artists was related to a third artist on display, so we got to learn even more. I am in awe of their creative thought processes!
Great experience at The Black Art Today Foundation reception.

The Davis library is a wonderful resource for our local community with excellent librarians and excellent holdings. The friends of the public library book shop is phenomenal. I visit there regularly. Kudos to Montgomery County Public library.
lots of activities for children. 3 meeting rooms. friendly staff.
Wonderful public library! I visit frequently to pick up books on hold and to take a look at the donated books for sale. A terrific free local resource with helpful services and many community events!
I found really good book for children’s!
I go to this library around every other week usually. It's nice and calm, though I prefer putting stuff on hold, so that if this library doesn't have what I want, they can get it from another library. They also have free COVID test kits. DVDs are scratched a lot of the time, but I think it's due to how people handle them when checked out.
Since the library was renovated, it doesn't smell musty anymore. It's usually really quiet and the kids section is really big. Lots of comfortable spaces to read. It also looks pretty new and shiny (on the inside, at least) thanks to the renovation.
Spacious, interest activities ie Jigsaw, computers available.

Great Park and location. Has bathrooms and picnics. You can grill as well as play soccer and baseball. The playground was able to keep 8 pre-teen boys entertained. I would recommend it.
Usually, the rugby practices baseball practices happen here. It's a very nice park. It has a gazebo and a kids park with a water fountain and also has tennis courts and basketball courts. It's right by the fire station.
There were few people there around 2pm so our work related picnic went very well. The facility had what we needed for some barbeque and drinks.
Great local park for all team sports played on grass. Nice playground with updated versatile equipment for younger kids. One can also rent a shed from MC Parks for an event for a reasonable fee.
It'd be nice if the restrooms would remain unlocked during business hours especially since it is summer and the foot traffic has increased.
Nice little park. My girls enjoyed the swings and the playground does look as good as pictured. Love the old school merry go round too. Would have gotten 5 stars if the bathrooms we're open. Disregard the floaters in the portapotty, at least there was one.
I hoop there all the time. I went there almost everyday over the summer, so I definitely love it. I am really happy that they renovated it, because before they used the plastic backboards, but now they have really nice glass ones. They also repainted the floors in green and blue, so it looks a lot better too. It also never gets too crowded, so its nice for workouts, because you can get one basket to yourself. The only con is during the winter their is not much you can do, because almost everything there is outdoor. I also made multiple friends there, so im thankful for being able to play there for free, and have had such a great experience. (I never write reviews, but I have gone there for over two years, so I felt I had to)
Clean environment , well kept together. There is a nice sized playground area located there. Also a pair of full basketball as well as tennis courts. There is a pavillion there with multipule picnic tables that i have seen numerous partys held under it while i use the basketball courts. Oh there's bathrooms there as well.
