Museums
Exhibits on early computers, the growth of the Internet, industry pioneers & more.
Slide 1 of 8
This is a must see place for people who are interested in technology. The place is conveniently located near google main office complex. You can see the complete history of how computers were invented and their progression to new generation computers. There is a section on robotics which I liked the most. The place also has a coffee shop and a store that sells souvenirs and apparel’s specifically made by them. On weekends sometimes you may see some free entries for specific company employees and families, so please check if you are from a company that is offering a free entry on a specific day or weekend.
The ticket are cheaper if you do a donation on the website. I was happy with the museum, the story of computer development comes from counting and measuring systems and moves slowly to counting and first codes and decoding and moves to devices. I would bring kids in different ages, but go through museum together, so they will see the full timeline.
The computer history museum is a must visit for anyone that uses a computer. That’s everyone! Seriously, if you haven’t been and you live in the area, make the time— the “revolution” exhibit alone will take the entire day and if you go on the correct day, you can have the pleasure of seeing the PDP-1 come to life. They turn on the IBM 1401 daily and will print you a fun memento on a 1402. Check the times for guided tours, you will not be disappointed! The docent are amazing and passionate. Still not sold check their calendar. They have regular events called “tech fest” the most recent of which was 90s themed and they brought out the museum of art and digital entertainment from Oakland for playable 90s video games. There was even a 90s dance party on the lawn complete with Skip-it and all the 90s jams. Plan a visit and learn something new about the tools that surround us and power our modern lives!
If you care at all about where modern computing came from, this is a must-visit. The Computer History Museum offers a near-encyclopedic sweep of computing’s evolution — from abacuses and early mechanical calculators to mainframes, personal computers, software milestones, and beyond. The artifacts are real, many rare, with detailed context. The storylines are well-curated: hardware, software, social impact, all woven together. Highlights: the IBM 1401, the Babbage Difference Engine, classic gaming and electronics, well-done interactive displays. Staff are knowledgeable and engaging; docented tours add depth. The layout gives space to breathe, read, reflect — not just dash through. Some caveats: Exhibits are often text-heavy; if you’re not already interested you may find yourself skimming. Also, to truly absorb everything — you need at least 3-4 hours, more if you want to dive deep. Overall: it delivers serious educational and aesthetic value. Worth every minute and every dollar.
It was way more interesting than I thought. Even my kids enjoyed it. Definitely has a wealth of information as well as interactive displays. I was only able to see half the museum in two hours. I went two hours before closing. Wish I had gone earlier in the day.
Best field trip ever thanks to Jesse and Steve! I took my class of graduate students and our minds were blown away by the amazing collection that they have. Highly recommend booking a docent tour or going on one of their public tours to better understand the historical significance of everything that you’re seeing!
Visiting the Computer History Museum was truly eye-opening for me. There was so much to see, and every corner made me feel like I was discovering something new. The history of computers isn’t just about machines — it’s about ideas, creativity, and how people kept pushing forward. I found it fascinating to see how technology evolved step by step, from simple early devices to the powerful computers we use today. Standing in front of those old machines made me realize how incredible our current technology really is. Overall, it was a place that made me think a lot, learn a lot, and appreciate the history behind the devices we take for granted every day.
It's an amazing geek place with a very detailed timeline view of evolution of computers. Very very interesting for people with technical background. Ideally needs atleast 3-4 hours to really engage

This place is small but quite cute and interesting especially if you are with kids. It made me hungry walking around so many yummy looking statues :) It's in the middle of the Google campus which is as big as a small city :) and cute to see all the colorful Google bikes there too. Not sure what the campers were around there - maybe the homeless crisis hit that area too or people just prefer to live by their office in a camper/RV :)
As a Google and Android fan, I was excited to check this out. The area was a bit surprising. It's on a part Google's campus that you definitely wouldn't expect a tech company to be. It seems like they converted old rundown apartments into office space. All of that aside, the Android dessert statues were fun. It's a small area. It's easy to get some pictures with your favorite Android desserts. The most disappointing part was that they weren't maintained. Many of them had chunks taken out of them or paint peeling off. It's right next to the Google Merchandise store and a quick stop for both of them.
The photos online make it look amazing. It is not anymore, sadly. The statues are broken down, faded, and ruined with masks. I'm still (mostly) glad I saw it, but I won't be going back unless I see online that it's been updated. I thought the area they were in would be bigger too. With all of Google's money, you'd think they could keep their sculptures nice looking. Google maps didn't navigate you to it well either. Oh and the whole area is roped off.
I enjoyed visiting the Google Android Lawn Statue Park! The statues, although slightly weathered, were adorable and fun to snap pictures of! The park is pretty small, and can be viewed quickly if you only have a few minutes. Parking was free, and it easy to find a spot on a Saturday morning. I definitely recommend stopping by, especially if you have young kids.
BEAUTIFUL!!! Everyone was cheerful, had great attitudes , very friendly. This facility is so Huge. I would love to get to actually go inside and get a tour. And it's only getting bigger. They have people letting you know where to go, how to get back if you get lost. And the diversity of cultures. Man that's WONDERFUL. Hopefully I can get a chance to get a tour.
Badly maintained. You can see the paint peeling off of many statues. Reportedly, Google moved these statues from all over the campus to this single place for better tourist crowd control. Also there was no nougat ( 6.0 ) or the latest pie ( 9.0 ) as of May 2019. The latest one was Oreo (8.0), if you wanna take pic next to it. Honeycomb looked interesting. But definitely lower your expectations before visiting. Update: Separate Android pie and Oreo statues are present in other places.
If you are an Android Fan you can take some great pictures here with the different Android Statues. The park is also conveniently located right next to the Google merchandise store. Location of the park is a bit of shame, feels like it is shoved into small corner of the campus right next to freeway. Also some of the statues could use a bit of TLC - some repair and another lick of paint.
Nice small space to check out some of the android robots and the app/iOS systems they run on. Lollipop, marshmallow, jellybean and more. Kids and adults seem to love it equally lol. The Google merchandise store is around the corner too, the weird thing about this place is the Google visitor center is only open to Google employees and not actual visitors...

Large-scale music venue with open-air seating hosts festivals & big-name acts.
Slide 1 of 8
Visited Shoreline Amphitheatre for Google I/O 2025, and I must say – what an incredible experience! The venue itself is iconic, nestled in the heart of Mountain View with a scenic backdrop and a layout that blends open-air energy with solid organization. From the moment I entered, the staff and volunteers ensured everything was smooth – quick check-ins, clear signage, and a great flow of people. The open lawn seating offered a relaxed vibe, while the structured seating closer to the stage made it easy to focus during keynotes and product announcements. The sound and visuals were top-notch, as you’d expect from a tech giant’s annual developer conference. Despite hosting thousands of attendees, the space never felt overwhelming – there’s something magical about the combination of cutting-edge innovation and fresh California air. Bonus points for food trucks, chill zones, and interactive booths around the venue. Google really knows how to use every inch of Shoreline to deliver both inspiration and comfort. Whether you’re here for a concert or a conference like Google I/O, Shoreline Amphitheatre is a venue that delivers the full experience – energy, views, vibe, and functionality all in one.
It’s a great place to see a concert. My only recommendation is to get there as soon as you can because - as usual for the Bay Area - traffic to get to the parking lots becomes a bit of a mess - tho the parking lot attendants are pros and friendly - and they do a good job managing traffic - you still have to wait for all the cars to move as the streets can only handle so much traffic
The venue is super nice and the food options along with food trucks is pretty good. Staff is helpful and there are plenty to help with directions as well as plenty of security. I was surprised with the amount of leg room - it was enough to dance in without falling 😂. I would arrive early, read the subreddit on the venue. I purchased easy-out parking. It has a dedicated lane and I was out in 10 min. There is a free option with Lot E that was open at 4pm where there is a back exit but I did not want to risk it and end up in the exit crush.
Saw Cyndi Lauper’s Farewell Tour and she was AMAZING!!! First time at this venue it was beautiful. No wait to enter venue. Parking was a little crazy long lines. Took 40 minutes to finally get parked. So glad I had sprung for the premium reserved parking, well worth it!!! Hey I even got to see a picture of the Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Turner when she played there in 1997!!!
This experience was way better than the last one. The staff this time was properly trained had good attitudes and were helpful. The concert Alice Cooper Judist Priest and Corrosion of Conformity ALL KILLED IT. Sound was great props great properly timed breaks between sets. Pictures are not the best but here are a few.
Great amphitheater, one of my favorites place for concerts. I've had VIP experience so it could be different, but venues still great even without it. But pay the extra dollars to take the VIP experience. You'll love it.
Great place for a show! Great prices, good food, and great bands. Parking is easy and free. If you want to park closer you will need to pay more. Your choice. Workers and services are very polite and engaging. Love the open air feel.
The venue has always been great. We attended on a Friday night and then again on a Sunday night. However, the parking situation can be torturous. The signage for the different lots is almost non-existent until you arrive. Then, the people that are running the traffic breaks seem to not know what they're doing. We watched them dropping cones in front of cars to stop them, picking it up, and then setting it back down, without any traffic flowing through intersections and the were no pedestrians, at that time. Sunday night seemed to be worse than Friday. We were almost missed our headliner. Thankfully, she took the stage late. Allowing for our 45 minute,1.5 mile entrance into the parking lot. It would have been faster to walk in as a pedestrian or ride a bicycle. Then it was to drive in. However, leaving the lots c and d and premier parking. Was the easiest thing we've ever done at this location. If you can afford to pay for one of these lots, it's totally worth it. When leaving we were out and onto the freeway in under 5 minutes.

Fun place to visit. I was at Stanford University to have my IVC filter removed and thought, hey, what a great idea, let's check out the Final Frontier. While I enjoyed myself at the center, I will visit SpaceX next time. Oh wait, Elon moved to the Republic of Texas. My bad.
If you enjoy anything 🚀, this is your go-to place to shop. They have outfits from babies to adults, toys, lego, and so much more. Parking is spacious! However, there’s no real spaceships that you can explore. Just souvenirs.
I was very excited to visit the Ames Research Center earlier this month! I am glad the VTA 51 bus stops nearby. First of all, I must mention that I had high expectations of the gift shop when I saw older reviews of when it still contained an exhibit. So when I finally arrived, I was disappointed to see almost nothing I saw in the pictures. Today I learned that all of the cool stuff had been moved to the Chabot Space & Science Center. The fact that I didn’t know was mainly my fault, however, I should have checked before going. Still, the Ames gift shop was a neat place. The bulk of what the store offers is clothing, but I bought a poster of the ISS and a Metal Earth model of the Voyager space probe design. I wished there was more merch of spacecraft and rovers, because I love those! The cashier was very sweet and helpful and let me use the bathroom when I returned later. Additionally, I took walk around the boundaries of the research center, since the public cannot enter it. There is lots to see and admire from the outside, and if you travel far enough near Google Bay View, you will reach a nice trail. All-in-all, visiting the Ames Research Center was a 4/5 experience, and I would like to do it again.
Been seeing the blimp every morning. What is NASA upto?
This is actually seems a abandon place and only left the gift shop. They moved the visitor museum to oakland already

There are several points through which this trail is connected to different roads . People generally park their vehicles at those point and then use this trail for cycling , running etc. Various others use this as a commute to go to their office too so one can see people in hover boards or electric bikes too. The whole route is scenic with various bridges and underpasses. The only issue is absence of street lights so there is visibility issues after dark esp in winters
Has lots of interesting areas… especially for dogs
Loved walking this trail it's beautiful, stayed at the Zico Hotel and was able to walk from hotel. It was nice in that we could go shopping and still have a fun being out in nature. Of course we also loved the low humidity of the area around San Francisco.
Nice to place to take a beautiful quite hike.

One of, if not the, best farmers markets in the Bay Area! Fantastic produce and food stalls. Plus, there is always fun events and live music. This weekend there was a zucchini race - adorable!
Good fresh fruits and vegetables. Parking can be a little tough but there are several free parking lots near this place.
Very good selection of produce, baked goods and prepared foods. Prices are rather expensive but quality is generally excellent. Can get very crowded around 11. They often have fun events.
Love the vibrant energy and freshness at this farmers market! The produce and local goods feel so full of life, and the setting right in downtown Palo Alto makes it extra convenient. Parking is surprisingly easy with plenty of spaces nearby, which makes the visit stress-free. One of my favorite parts is seeing all the pets strolling around with their owners—it adds such a warm, community vibe. A perfect weekend spot to pick up something delicious, support local vendors, and enjoy the atmosphere!
Oh my! This place is amazing! The freshness and variety of produce is off the charts. So many free samples. And then there are all the prepared foods. We tried Mando buns (like a grilled bag bun), country sourdough bread, dumplings, cardamom croissants, iced nitro coffee, and pluots. Parking is tricky, but worth the walk. Fun outing for all ages!
I recently visited the Mountain View Farmers’ Market, and I’m so glad I did—it’s officially my new favorite farmers market in the Bay Area! What really stood out to me was the excellent selection of organic fruits and vegetables. Everything looked incredibly fresh and vibrant, and you can really taste the difference. Whether you're into seasonal produce or just trying to eat cleaner, this market delivers on quality. I was also impressed by the beautiful variety of plants and flowers available. From blooming bouquets to garden-ready herbs and succulents, there’s something here for plant lovers and weekend gardeners alike. Another bonus is the convenient location—right next to the Mountain View Caltrain station. Super easy to get to whether you're walking, biking, or taking public transit. The vendors are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s a great mix of local products, baked goods, and prepared foods to round out your trip. It’s the kind of market that makes grocery shopping feel like a relaxing Sunday outing.
So many variety’s & options. Can build a full week of meals. Also, great pre cooked options.
We’ve been to 3 farmers market in the nearby area and this is by far our favorite. It’s pretty big, lots of vendors, nice produce. Lots of vendors give out free taste, anything free is awesome. Not in picture were the corn on the cob that we got. It’s tasty, fresh, sweet, just perfect. ❤️ come on over and support local farmers.

Lots of interesting things to see: from plane and submarine models, medals, uniforms, historic newspapers and documents to the full cockpit of a P3 sub hunter and an F18 outside. You need a docent to take you to the outdoor planes. Our guide was a former P3 pilot and gave us lots of interesting details on the controls and gauges in the actual cockpit. Having lived in the flight path of the P3’s that flew regularly in the 80’s it was especially interesting to get “up close and personal” with one of these planes
The Moffett Museum is a nice little stop — there are a few planes, a helicopter, and some interesting displays with photos, stories, and artifacts. But I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. It’s quite small, and the large building next to it seems to be under construction (I think Google is renovating it). Inside the museum, there’s definitely some cool stuff to see, but overall it felt a bit limited. I’ve seen more impressive aviation museums. Still, worth a quick visit if you’re nearby.
Cute small local museum operated by kind, friendly, knowledgable & enthusiastic volunteers, displaying a surprisingly diverse collection of memorabilia, Americana, military & specifically aviation history, & even several cockpits available to sit in & explore. Our friendly & outgoing volunteer tour guide made our visit specially memorable with his obvious passion & detailed knowledge, generously sprinkled with insight into his personal favorites. Thank you, Igor & Team! Let’s go, Flying Pancake Squad!
We went for a Moffett Field Historical Society event, Post-war (WWII) History of San Jose Japantown. The talk was very interesting detailing the return and influx of the Japanese Americans to San Jose Japantown, a self-sufficient and self-contained community. The Moffett Field Museum has lots of US Navy flying history including several hands on exhibits. It’s located right next to the newly re-skinned Hangar One, a massive, historic structure built in the 1930s to house the Navy's USS Macon airship.
I met the men running the museum. Quite the honor, though the gate personnel need to direct you to the correct location. Be sure to ask for the Moffett Air museum because NASA has a museum there as well. It is filled with history, memorabilia, uniforms, photos, aircraft info and squadron info. Worth the visit even if you were never stationed there!!!👍🇺🇸
Moffett Air Force Base was educational. Who knew there was that much history, history of aviation, the war, American perseverance and women's contributions during the war right there in Mountain View California.. There were live tour guides to inform you of the historical events, actual equipment from the war (planes, radios, munitions, etc.). It's also child friendly
This is a fantastic museum. It looks small from the outside, but there is so much inside and the collections of artifacts is quite extensive. The staff and volunteers have so much information to share along with each of the displays. I was so impressed. We have to keep these museums alive and well for many generations to come.
Located inside the NASA area of Moffitt Field, the museum offers a great collection of artifacts and the history of the facility. The museum is larger than it appears as it covers 3 wings of an old hanger along with the outside air park with a few planes. Mike, our docent, was awesome and was great with the kids. He even opened up the P3 cockpit for the kids to sit in and be pilots for a second. This museum is unique as it has a lot of the history of the airships that the airfield used to support. The large hanger it is near the museum, once housed a massive airship called the makron. There is one other such building on the west coast all the way up in Oregon.

New swimming pool, picnic tables, dog park, senior center, children's play areas, Magical Bridge Playground, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball court, volleyball court, exercise equipment, paved path for walking around the perimeter, skateboard area. There are two large open areas in the middle for free play and soccer. A social Center and children's daycare are also located there. The park is very well cared for.
My two year old son really enjoyed this park. He liked going up and down the steps near the stone slide and playing on the different play structures, and going across the bridge. He liked playing in the sand and swinging on the swing.
Take your child to the park to play under the tree covered shade, bring cardboard to slide down the ramp into the sand, let them exercise their arms on the monkey bars, get dizzy around the spinning bar, build confidence climbing up the rock climbing wall, swing up to the sky... Come back as an adult to play pickle ball, tennis, practice acroyoga on the grass as you ruminate on childhood days in the park and the dizzying speed at which life paces. Relax walking the dog in search of its dog friends, or meandering around the vast park open with leisurely possibilities. Parked along the side street are many RV dwellers and a community center across the park. Rengstorff Park and Pool embraces the young and old, poor and affluent, hard and soft alike!
There's nothing particularly special about this park -- it's a place locals go to because it's a nice green area, and not somewhere you'd travel any distance to see. With that said, it's a nice park with a sizable lawn area to walk around, some playgrounds, and a volleyball court. Parking can be tough around 5-6pm on weekdays.
Nice park. The restrooms need improvement though. Love the old big trees and the pickleball courts.
I passed this park for the last year and just got a chance to walk through it. It’s very quiet on a Thursday afternoon, and the autumn leaves were all over the park. 👍👍
Overall, the facilities are a bit old. The kiddie pool is closed due to a hole in it. According to a staff member, it is not likely to reopen although there should be one when the new pool is built and opens in a few years, hopefully by 2023. During construction, you will have to visit eagle park pool instead. The main pool was open on our visit. Be prepared to pay cash in case their credit card machine is still down. Waterslide and diving board were closed during our visit. The lifeguards were nice and brought out some diving rings for us to play with. Lifeguards on duty. Pool was not crowded. The only seats are the benches attached to picnic tables. Parking is free. We liked that the pool was so close to the big playground at the park.
Wonderful Park, with pickleball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, open grass fields and more.

Excellent performances without the hassle of going to the City SF
Great shows, would recommend!
Great playhouse to see a theatrical production. Not too crowded, seating is roomy, and great sight lines. Saw the TheatreWorks adaptation of the Tiby award winning musical "Ragtime" which was awesome. The story of struggles by blacks, immigrants, and the less fortunate ring as true today as it did in the time the musical is set (1906-1913). Definitely a must see performance!
Seen a few shows here and haven’t been overly impressed. The actors are always great. The sets are always nice. Sometimes they attempt to add a layer to productions by changing the time period or adding a concept to a show - when they do this it is unnecessary and hinders the show more then it helps it.
Everytime I attend a performance here I'm reminded what class act events these are. Always am entertained and impressed with how professional the quality of the performances are. Easy parking, great location for a bite before or after...
Great plays, acting and convenient parking and dining in Mountain View
We always enjoy this Tony Award winning theater. The productions have all been excellent, with strong performances by the cast.
Broadway starts here with original productions bound for the big stage and high calibre performances of theatrical premieres.

This is quite the park here in Mountain View! Lots of space to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery. There is an area with picnic tables and what seems to be grills for your barbecuing needs. There is a playground and tennis courts as well. Nice little park. 👍😎
Great expansive park. Has a calisthenics fitness park, a volleyball/badminton net on hard court, and plenty of grass and paths. There are too many gophers but that’s being addressed. I left my water bottle here one day and found it the next day on a bench! Plenty of bathrooms and parking. Not too crowded
The redwoods feel very majestic and There are still enough people after sunset that it feels safe. The park has more than enough visitors, a small exercise rink and enough parking space to accommodate everyone. That said the park needs to up its maintenance. Many of the lights in the main area of the park do not light up while the lights in tennis courts are lit up well enough for a small plane to land.
Great park for kids and adults also. Playgrounds nice walking paths and plenty of parking. A dog park also. With Tennis courts free for walk in Mountain View residents. It si peaceful and quiet.
Cuesta Park is easily one of my favorite spots in Mountain View. Whether you’re out for a walk, meeting friends, or just want some time outdoors, this park really has it all. I come here pretty often, and every time I notice something new to appreciate. The walking paths are wide, shaded, and perfect for a morning stroll or jog. There’s a ton of open grassy space that’s great for picnics or tossing a frisbee around. One of the things I really like is the variety of activity areas—there’s a fitness zone with calisthenics equipment, tennis courts, volleyball nets, and even a small hard court for badminton. It’s rare to find that many options in one park. The playground is great for kids, and I’ve noticed a lot of families hanging out there, especially on weekends. There’s also a dog park nearby, and it’s always fun to see dogs running around while their owners chat. The bathrooms are clean and there’s plenty of parking, which makes it a super convenient place to visit, even if you’re coming from outside the neighborhood. One small thing—there are a lot of gopher holes in the grassy areas, so just watch your step. But it looks like they’re trying to manage it. Funny story: I accidentally left my water bottle on a bench once, and when I came back the next day, it was still there. That kind of sums up the vibe of this place—relaxed, respectful, and safe. Overall, Cuesta Park is a peaceful, well-kept community space that’s great for all ages. Whether you want to work out, walk your dog, or just enjoy some sunshine, it’s a perfect local escape.
My favorite park! An off-leash park for dogs, too. What a great place to walk on a sunny or rainy day, with lots of hundred-year-old trees for protection. One lap around the perimeter of the park is about two miles, at least if you take some of the side paths for extra protection from the elements. You may not find parking as close as you'd like, but there is always plenty to go around. There is a volleyball court and a dedicated picnic area with grills, and both are side-by-side within walking distance of one of the bathrooms, too. I just discovered there's an outdoor patio area perfect for reading, in between the tennis courts and the parking lot. 😁
Wife and I took the dog for a walk around the park. The grass walking service is very uneven and only ideal for walking. This park is large and has many offerings. Tennis courts, volleyball net, swings, etc. They have an area with seating that can be reserved for outdoor events with restrooms nearby. If you want some privacy for a picnic in the shade excellent park for. Beautiful park in the spring and summer months. I had to come back and edit this review. Cuesta Park is a complete park with ample options for entertaining the entire family. There is a big open leash area for dogs. Trash cans and poop bags are provided all throughout the park. A fitness station area has been added to the park right behind the YMCA.
The park is a nice area to meet up with friends if you need to. I haven't spent much time actually using the park, besides the play structure facilities, but it seems to be well maintained. Bike paths are generally well-paved and fun to ride around on.

A lovely park located behind the library. Lots of seatings in the park positioned under good shade. Apparently, they have a rock garden, but I haven’t found it yet. Or, did I?
It's a great park. They have bbq's , Tennis courts, badminton, off leash dog park, outdoor gym equipment, and amazing walking trai. I saw people practicing Tai chi. Plus, it's right next to the YMCA. I spent a few hours over there with my dogs and had a great time.
This park is lovely and the perfect place to escape from the weekend downtown Mountain View crowds. Trees provide lots of shade and benches make it an easy place to sit and talk with friends.
Beautiful green serene little park right at MtnView Public Library & behind the City Hall. Perfect for some quiet sitting, reading, or a short stroll.
I love going there to walk my dog. The beautiful trees and flower beds are very welcoming. It's a very peaceful place.
Nice open area to sit and Have picnic catch up with friends or sunbathe. There are no play structures. The area has enough parking and gastro street with all its restaurant are within walking distance. Do check out the piece of Berlin wall which is nearby? Just a block away
A very small park just by the side of busy Castro street and behind the library Mountain view.Paved way to walk and few benches to relax watching the beautiful lawn .
Beautiful and idyllic park in the heart of Mountain View. Ideal for a short walk or a break after a meal on nearby Castro Street. The park is quiet and relaxed because ball players and dog walkers mostly use Eagle Park right across Church and Franklin Streets.

Compact, butterfly-themed park with a playground, seasonal water-play sandbox & picnic tables.

I’m not sure why I have not posted a review about this park. We’ve been coming to this park for almost 8 years. There’s ample shade from the trees and the play structures are great. There are two play structures- one for 2-5 and the other for older children. There is a small sand area to play in. You can see your child from any angle from within the park. There are no bathrooms at this park, since it’s a small neighborhood park.
Great playground, has a smaller play structure for crawlers and toddlers.
A charming little park with lovely butterfly-themed decorations. we stayed with a friend who lives nearby, and you can always hear the laughter (and occasional tears) of kids who don’t want to leave a clear sign of how much fun they’re having! Just be prepared with earplugs and tissues when it’s time to head out
This is a great park, especially for toddlers and younger children. Nice play structure that's not too high, grassy area, swings, sand pit with water, butterfly garden, picnic tables, and shade (!). There's no dedicated parking lot or restroom.
Clean, beautiful little park. Very nice and filled with butterfly decor. I stayed with my friend who lives nearby and you constantly hear the sound of children screaming and crying because they don’t want to leave the park. So I guess that’s a good sign! Just bring ear plugs and tissues for your departure.
Much smaller than the pictures made it seem. The water wasn't on in the water/sand area so my kiddo was sad about that.
Small neighborhood park with playground, swings, sand pit, water fountain, and grassy area.
Great little park with butterfly themed equipment. It’s very clean and well kept. There’s swings, play scape, sand area to dig in, cement caterpillars to climb on, and picnic tables to eat at. Will definitely go back!

Small community park featuring kids' play structures, a half basketball court & open grassy areas.

This used to be a school named Kline. Can't remember if it was just an elementary school or more. Used to play football on the grass facing Ortega. Would fly kites on the field next to what is now the Palmetto. Played basketball at the school's playground. After the school closed it was I think a music school. Then it was all torn down and became townhomes and the small park.
I love walking the entire park with my dog
Beautiful playground, grassy space, and basketball courts. Play area has sand pit, which is always a kid favorite.
Very beautiful with lots to do for your kids.
A very clean, attractive, and quiet park. They did a great job with the planning of it. I would suggest this park for my friends to go to.
Small but nice place. to walk with family
Best park near our apartments. Great to walk during hot weather, because of the big tree in the middle
Great park to stop in and shoot some hoops at the half court or lay for a picnic on the grass. It’s easy to get to from el Camino and is surrounded by a cute residential area.

Historic home with Victorian Italianate architecture, tours & exhibits on 19th-century life.

We visited this beautiful historic house on Saturday morning. A knowledgeable docent showed us around and shared the fascinating history of the property. This place is rich in Bay Area history—highly recommended if you’re in the area!
Beautiful spot to visit, however the tour is not open because short of volunteer , I will come back next time.
I’ve been to this park many times but never really noticed this house. Today I finally stopped to read the story behind it, about a German immigrant who built his life here through hard work and vision. It’s such an inspiring reminder of how much courage it took to start a new life back then.
Volunteers were very nice and will tell ypu the history of the house and answer any questions. It's a small museum and mostly consists of the first floor. There are few remaining furniture that are original to the house.
Sept 2025. Rengstorff House is an antique, 19th Century home restored to its former glory by history enthusiasts with the help of professionals and a $1.2 MM grant from the city of Mt View. Advertised as the oldest surviving home in Mt View. It was the home of entreprenuer, farmer, business man, and prominent citizen of Mt View - Henry Rengstorff. The Wikipedia entry on the home is quite good - despite being Wikipedia. Look it up before you go. We live in a 19th Century home, and we've been restoring it for years. Hence, we were very interested in this home despite being tourists. If an antique home interests you, it is well worth your time. Admission is free, and there's a good chance you will have your own tour by the docent on duty. Our tour guide was Luke, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the renovation and the family history. In turn, we explained a few difficulties of removing antique utilities and meeting modern codes. Highly recommended, and I commend the historical folks, the staff and the city of Mt View for their beautiful renovations.
I recently had the pleasure of filming a wedding at this remarkable venue, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, with its picturesque outdoor ceremony space and elegantly decorated reception area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly, from coordinating with the couple to assisting me with any technical needs I had. The lighting throughout the venue was perfect for capturing those magical moments, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the event was truly commendable. I highly recommend this venue to any wedding videographer looking for a breathtaking location and a supportive team to work with.
As both a guest and having been a volunteer here, I've found the house museum to be a good place to learn some of the interesting early history of Mountain View and the Bay Area. There are complimentary tours of the house museum on Tues, Wed, and Sun. Sunday tours are led by a docent in period costume which folks enjoy. The grand tour finale in the music parlor wowed me with the opportunity to hear music players do their thing the way they would've for audiences over a century ago. The museum and grounds are also rented at a reasonable price for events and special occasions, like tea parties and weddings during non-touring hours. The grounds at Shoreline Park where the house stands are also a pleasant backdrop for all sorts of visitors including nature seekers.
We toured Rengstorf House as a possible venue for a wedding. Impressive. Update: The wedding is next month so we looked over the venue in general again and specifically the arbor which we have to cover with flowers. A nice place but many hoops (like vendor insurance) to jump through with your vendors. Enough restrictions too, especially with lighting limitations.

This centre is designed really well to enjoy the show from almost every point. Also has a dramatic look from the outside and beautiful dramatic stairs next time I come over I’ll be planning to take some pictures on the stairs. The building is right next to the city hall
I have mixed feelings foyr doing this review. Dont get me wrong, the venue is amazing, sound is top notch, definitely coming back many many times, it feels like any band will shine in there.. Then what is there to be mixed up about? The venue is so intimate, so small, I want to keep this hidden gem all for myself 🤭🤭
Intimate venue with great visibility, great stage, excellent lighting, fantastic acoustics, seating was comfortable, overall a great experience, will come back.
My home away from home! I do both acting and tech for both PYT and Upstage Theater, both of which perform in here. Beautiful building with courteous staff and excellent seating. The sound and light boards are the newest technology and both stages are very professional. This isn’t some clunky community theater; this is a place where you experience the best of entertainment and then talk about it for days afterward.
Decent theater. The decor kinda reads like a community college. A little bland. The audience seating is good - could see the stage well. The sound is decent. Lighting design capabilities seemed good. Excellent access to Caltrain and pre/post show dining & drink options.
It's a center for underperforming arts... Charged $55 to see a play staged by an amature cast with a director who addressed the audience in Chinese.
Love this place for it's various events. Recently attended the German Holiday market here. Some booths were very interesting. Although there were several other stalls that were not German
Great small venue with excellent audio and layout. No parking hassles and plenty of dinner places nearby

Stopped in here with a work group while on a business trip and had a great time! It was a little different from some of the other escape rooms I have done in the past. It had a lot.of the usual puzzles to figure out but instead of endless locks there was an interaction with a magic drawer that made things interesting and added to the excitement.
Fun place but only one escape room is available. Not sure if it was easier than the usual since I've only been to one other place before. Pricing is better than other places. They will change the room in a few months to a new design.
It’s not a particularly well designed escape room. Pretty minimal on the props, felt super empty altogether. Some reviewers seem to enjoy the “magical drawer” interaction ... but it was just an employee literally handing you the next puzzle each time you completed one, basically. What’s the fun in that? Plus, many of the “puzzles” were super silly and not particularly logical, just random directions to follow. Also, not well suited for the number of people it recommended - Lot of crowding around one thing at a time without much else that could be worked on. Would be best for < 5 people.
The employee working was great. There is only one escape room so I wouldn't recommend just walking in. We called ahead to make sure we'd be able to play. We were a group of four and we had plenty of room to walk around and to share clues without anyone feeling left out. I'd go again if they update the room with a new story and clues
Fun place, definitely bring friends! The interactive part made it kind of interesting. The puzzles aren't impossibly hard but definitely require some critical thinking skills.
Interesting game with very motivating staff. We got out just at the bell. Would recommend going with a group of friends.
Went with a work group. It's a really good time. Great for groups and working together.
Very nice game! We had a lot of fun! Highly recommend!
