This is a great zoo to visit,we visited here during a weekday and it wasn’t too busy. They have a good variety of animals to look at and the butterfly house was one of our favorite spots.
Visited mid-week so was very calm and pleasant. The heat kept most animals in the shade staying cool, but some were active nonetheless. Never seen a black bear so close, and one of the zookeepers was playing with the wolves. He'd run back and forth by the cage and they would watch him and do it too! And the otters....! I could watch them play all day. They actually seemed to ham it up for a camera, lol. Can't wait to come back here!!!
Fun little zoo. My wife and I were visiting with no kids. Keep in mind Its a small zoo. While you wont see any monkeys, camals, giraffes, hippos and animals like that, you will see Bobcats, wolverines, bears, elk, goats, eagles, and some reptiles. Admission was only $12 which I felt was fair for what it is, and was well kept and we enjoyed the walk. Deducting a star due to the butterfly house (didnt actually see any butterflies in there) and the petting zoo being closed. Wasn't a huge deal for us, but I could see it being disappointing for families with children. We didnt check out the park that its actually surrounded by, but looks like you could spend a nice day there and I noticed walking paths and playgrounds.
Small but we knew that. A gorgeous day. Very well kept up. Wish all the animals had companions. Took our time. 2 hrs seeing all the local animals. Sci tech bldg was cool. My hand magnet was off the chart! What does that mean..lol! Always see and learn something different. Always buy a gift for the kids and donated. Thank you. Great, friendly staff. Prayers for the sweet animals that we saw. Not the best pics but I tried.
We enjoyed walking around here very much and seeing the local animals of the state. My favorite would be the Wolverine and the otters. Canadian Lynx were great too.
We’ve been members at Zoo New York for two years now and between the zoo itself and all the events they have it’s well worth the price if you live in Watertown and have young kids. We come at least once a week most of the year. My only complaint is that the Halloween things they put up for most of October are way too scary for young kids. I just wish that it were at least set up in a way that you could avoid the spooky things when walking around the zoo, especially since it seems to me that most zoo attendees have pretty young kids.
This little zoo and science center in Watertown, NY, is an absolute gem! People can be unfair expecting a big-city zoo, but this place has a calm, pleasant atmosphere that’s perfect for families. The kids love visiting the science center, and the butterfly garden was a delightful addition. The wolverine was an adorable little show-off, and the otters were playful and engaging. We also never miss a game at the giant chess set—it’s always a hit with the kids. It’s not huge and doesn’t have many exotic animals, but it’s educational, welcoming, and easy to explore at a comfortable pace. Many of the animals are rescues—injured or unable to survive in the wild—so every visit has a meaningful side. There’s also a playground, and we stumbled upon a black currant bush—such a fun little find, and the currants were delicious! Just across the parking lot is a pool and splash pad, with another playground and a city overlook up the hill. It’s the perfect spot for a full day of family adventures. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Watertown!
Cute zoo, but more then half the exhibits were empty. I still think it is worth going and supporting. The grounds were also kept very nice.

This is a good place if you are wanting to just go in and buy apples and other apple related products. They also have some handmade items for sale everything from signs made from horseshoes to hand sown items to soaps and lotions. There isn't a tour of the orchard or anything like that. It's a very small place, however there is a nice set of falls behind it that makes a nice place to take pictures!
Great historical location and delicious cake donuts with cinnamon and sugar. Fresh Apple's and apple cider. Cute waterfall and photo locations.
We just absolutely love the burrville cider mill decided to come over here this morning everything is always so awesome and fresh best donuts In the world best apple cider in the world everyone should go here. Just absolutely everybody for everything they have, everything you could ever want from all kinds of apples, apple, cider, cheese, curd, homemade, everything, pies, cookies, cakes, candies and cute gifts of all kinds. This place is so great.
They make the best cider in the north country and their cider donuts are exceptional! The store itself has so much to offer and the waterfall out back is beautiful! We local Northerners look forward to their opening every year and they are always busy, especially weekends. If you’re in the area during the fall I highly recommend this as a place to visit. You won’t be disappointed.
My daughter and I had the opportunity to visit here this weekend and when I tell you this was the best Apple Cider and Slushy I have ever had it’s an understatement. The fudge and doughnuts are great too! Definitely worth the visit. The view out back is beautiful too
Apples! Line was long but moved fast. Donuts didn't last long at our house either. Cider is delicious- thank you!
Cute place but it's really just a gift shop. I expected to see cider being made but there's nothing to see but the waterfall. Our family of 9 bought several donuts and other treats only to stand outside and eat them near the parking lot. We saw several places that there could be picnic tables. Don't know why there aren't any.
If you’re a native of Watertown, you know this is the best cider on doughnuts on the planet. Amazing family run business. The best part of fall is visiting the cider mill.

This store is amazing, Went to the AT&T store to get phone straightened out and and young lady there was great. Within 5 minutes she had the phone unfrozen and working perfectly. Didn't even wait 2 minutes for her to ask if we needed help with anything.
What a depressing experience..this mall was once a bustling place with people and busy stores..now it's filled with junk and mall walkers. It's sad.. The ball tower wasn't even working. When this place opened it was crazy busy and had energy and was vibrant..now it's like an old dog ready to be put down. At least the comic shop, card shop and crystal shop are a few nice small businesses trying to make it and bring something .
It's great to have a mall near where we live in Upstate NY! The mall is small but has the essentials: a movie theatre, food court (El Patron Tacos and JUJU66 boba are my favorites), Victoria secret / PINK, Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, Burlington, Hot Topic, Pottery, Hobby Lobby, nails, massage, arcades / bounce houses for kids and even a gym. I really appreciate how the workers work hard to keep the mall clean. It's busier and more lively during the weekends but if you want a more peaceful shopping experience, weekdays are a lot quieter!
Very standard small city mall. Not much food options. Good place to walk in bad weather. (A must in this part of NY) Has some fun activities like an arcade and an escape room. Mostly standard mall stores, but unlike most malls this one doesn’t seem like it is half a step from closing down.
A terrific mall at most. The best shopping experience I've seen. A huge variety of stores. The place is clean and tidy inside and out. Everything is bright and tidy. If your in the area you have to check this place out for the ultimate shopping experience. Dogs are welcome.
We went for a walk through the Mall. My husband and I walked through til we met up with A Touch of Country. We went in to walk around and saw so much we wanted to buy. The man in the store was very friendly and had a variety of signs for sale.
I'm excited to see a furniture store will be opening. I went shopping ay Hobby Lobby the folks in there were very helpful and they had everything I needed.
it’s just boring there’s nothing there unless you’re into zumies the clothing stores are all way outdated the atmosphere is dead it’s got a car dealership? And an Amazon finds store? For what who puts these things in a already struggling and dying mall

A beautiful library that appeals to people of all ages. There are also many historical materials for those who want to witness history. It is also a perfect place to have a good time with the family. You can also play the honeycomb game😂 with your family without being stressed.😎
Beautiful library! I love the combination of the old part and the new part. I enjoyed that they made part of the library as a museum but you can use it still. They need to name the lions :). Definitely a destination place when you are in the Watertown area.
Absolutely beautiful library and historical building full of a great selection of documents, books and even graphical novels.
Part of the North Country Library System, the Flower Memorial Library is a peaceful historical gem in downtown watertown. The librarirans are pleasant and very helpful. They also hold a variety of community based events throughout the month. There is plenty of space here if you want a quiet area to soak into your literary adventure. Reading areas are comfortable and somber surrounded by ornate artwork and mosaic glass ceiling panels..and the best part all of it is free! Got get yourself a library card and read a book or two or three..its hard to stop once you start, you just have to start
Not like any other "library." It is a stunning marble 'temple to knowledge.' The entrance opens into a two story marble rotunda with a stain glass ceiling and 12 bronze zodiac in the marble floor and a second floor balcony accessed by marble stairs. There are antiques, paintings of 1812 naval engagements, portraits of 1800's businessmen, naval & army officers and govt officials. Oh ya, they have books too!
In all of Watertown this library is probably my favorite place to hang out. Whether you need a quiet place to study, a play room for the kids, or business on the computers; this is the place to get it done. The selection is impressive for such a small town. They've got books, CDs, movies, and even a few games all for rent with your free library card. Up to 20 books at a time too! The staff is knowledgeable and very nice. If you need help finding anything, even on the internet, they've got you covered for sure. The sheer amount of events going on at this library is great. Definitely a community based family center. Special nights for movies, Legos, Minecraft, art, tabletop gaming, name it and they have it. A+++ definitely recommend!
Super awesome staff!!!! So happy I got a membership and felt welcomed. First time to come over and didn’t know it was their annual book sale. I got the best books I’ve always wanted all for $1!!!
Great library, even better historic building. Flower memorial library is a snapshot of the opulance of what was once was a great city. Well maintained and wonderful to explore.

Really fun little ski area. $25 night tickets. Great place to take young kids and beginners to ski. They did a great job by keeping certain areas ungroomed to practice your powder skiing. Will highly recommend this small but very mighty ski area.
Great staff, amazing customer service. I had 2 autistic teens trying skiing for the first time. Private lessons were great. Patient instructors who took the teens needs into consideration. I highly recommend.
Summer is still a great time at Dry Hill!!! Come on out and have games with the family! Walk thru the craft venders. Snag a snack at the snack shack! Grab a drink in the bar !!! Not just for winter !! Come on out this sat and find us!
What a fantastic spot for live music and Sunday farmer's market!! The setting is gorgeous. There are picnic tables in the sun if you need a dose of Vitamin D. Huge shade tent as well. Games set up for the kids. Bar open for the adults!! Food also. A lovely way to support some local businesses. Kudos to the owners for making great use of the ski area off season! See you next Sunday!
Cozy, friendly, smaller ski resort. Perfectly groomed and very comfortable skiing with about 4 slopes and efficient staff. Great rentals, warm fire, live music at night and food offered. I haven’t skied in a while so it was a wonderful day getting back to a sport I love.
When I tell you I have found my forever ski home believe me !! I first visited dry hill back in December of 22 and had such an amazing time taking a refresher ski class with Karry . She is an amazing instructor and encouraged me throughout our session, she definitely boosted my confidence. I love everything about dry hill from the food & drinks at the bar to the welcoming staff . The owners are amazing and are active in welcoming patrons and ensuring their comfort. Shout out to the guys in rentals they’re attentive and have a good memory for customers sizes/ rental needs. I had such an amazing experience there that when given the opportunity to visit Watertown again in February 23 that I speedily signed up for a month of the women’s lunch and learn program on the hill. The packages were reasonably priced . This gave me the opportunity to meet with others who have a love for the slopes. While at dry hill I had the pleasure of learning with two other amazing instructors , Tracy ( who was very instrumental in my progress, congratulations on ski patrol cert) and Danny who had the patience of a saint in taking me out on a snowboard 🏂 for the first time. I had such an amazing time over there that each time I went I brought along a different family member to join in on the fun. I love that there is no overcrowding and long lines compared to other places. Everyone takes caution and are mindful of newbies. By the time winter was done anyone watching could see a marked improvement in my ⛷️. I became such a regular everyone knew me by name. I can’t wait to come back for winter 23/24 to be part of this amazing ski family. I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE DRYHILL.
Glad to see it's doing well. Parents were stationed there for 3 years in the late 70's at Dry Hill AFB. We learned to ski there, a lot of good memories that we still talk about today. Loved this place
I contacted Boo on Sunday in an attempt to throw a wedding in 3 days for my daughter and her fiancé who was returning from deployment. I cannot even express not only my gratitude but also what a beautiful and phenomenal job they pulled off. You may not think of them at first for a venue but at first but it will be my #1 recommendation. Absolutely amazing job.

Great experience, great wine! We'll be back in a few weeks, thank you for the hospitality.
Was here quite some time back. Small. Staff was friendly. Near closing time so not much going on. Good selection of wine. Purchased a souvenir bottle of King of the North and a glass on the first day of a two week road trip. Very good......wish we had purchased more! Bottle and glass now sit on display at our basement bar along with many others. Will definitely revisit if we get back to the area.
Absolutely perfect visit, first stop on the wine trail with my wife and parents. They treated us all like family and were baby friendly. Delicious homemade wine and comfy.
It's been a few years since I ordered but they had the best and friendliest staff. I'm not a common wine drinker so I had no idea what I was looking for. But after a few more question and a few taste I walked out with the best tasting wine for me. I can't wait to buy a few more bottles.
Go anywhere else. We tried to make sure we didn't need reservations but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. So after seeing multiple posts of the same hours - 11AM - 5PM on their website, facebook and phone answering machine we made the trip to visit! The lady that let us in was anything but welcoming. Once inside she rudely made it clear that they were not doing tastings till 12. The building was also freezing, poorly lit and also not welcoming. Don't waste your time or money here, so many other beautiful wineries are ready to happily greet you & share their wine passion!
Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice location. Purchased the rhubarb wine..nice tart taste and Red Buggy on servers recommendation. Will come again
Cozy little winery out in the country side. Great selection of wine. I really loved the Deer Run. A sweet mix of a white and red blended from different types of grapes. Would reccomend.
Recognized the gentleman behind the bar as former mayor of Cleveland, Micheal White. Never met a man so rude. Also they forgot our food, sorry, was working on a skewers.

It was such a nice learning experience, not being from Watertown, I learnt a lot in relation to customs and things that happened/are from ~200 years ago. Beautiful garden and the schoolhouse was amazing, definitely my favorite thing about this place.
I had a great time at their event. I highly recommend you check this place out. Staff are so friendly.
An amazing place to visit, great museum. We had a blast at the 20s themed 100 year celebration!
Great place to learn about Watertown and surrounding areas
We drove several hours to come and see this beautiful mansion. When we got there, it was closed, even though the website said they were open for the weekend. A woman dressed in period clothing, opened the door and told us the mansion was closed and that we couldn’t get in. It was not listed on the website that the mansion was closed and when we asked if we could just walk through quickly without a tour, the woman’s response was “sorry I’m leaving now.” We told her that we drove several hours just to see it and her response was “yes it is a beautiful mansion”. We didn’t expect to have any special treatment but we just wanted to walk through quickly. Update the website if you aren’t going to be open.
This place was awesome. There was some cool stuff inside the museum, almost the whole house was filled with old items. There's a beautiful garden in the back and an old school house that was neat to look at. I would recommend bringing your kids for quick, cheap summer trip! There's also ghost tours in the fall 👻
Really enjoyed our visit had alot of nice things to look at .
My husband and I had our wedding here on October 11, 2014 and it was amazing. We had the ceremony inside, and took photos in the garden after. The director and groundskeeper were both amazing and so helpful. I couldn't have picked a better venue and I'm so glad I was able to work with these people to help make my wedding day so memorable. Thank you all so much!

My kids ages 5 and 8 absolutely loved it. No, it’s not as big and fancy as the science and technology museums in bigger cities, but the thrill my kids expressed was just the same. The rates are affordable; $3/child and $4/adult. The gentleman who worked there—possibly the owner or manager—was very eager to help assist the kids with the interactive exhibits ensuring they received the most out of their experience.
Took my boys (4 and 3) there. They spent three hours there. The exhibits aren't super fancy, but they are engaging and entertaining for the kids. The place wasn' crowded but it definitely did the job of entertaining the kids for the day. At admission of $10 total. I'd say it's a bargain for being right in town near Ft. Drum. Definitely going again.
Yes, the exhibits are a bit dated, but kids (especially 4-8 years old) will have have a great time. Highly interactive physics and natural science, even parents will find it interesting. Spent about 1.5 hours exploring and it was inexpensive.
I have not visited since I was probably 5-6 years old but it was still just as I remembered!! I like the fact it’s a smaller museum because it’s not crowded with people and everything is very hands-on. Was a good time for this kid at heart :’)
Unique and quirky some very interesting experiments and activities for the children to do could use a good cleaning and some updated things. However considering that they're ran basically on volunteer basis and their admission fee is so low it's amazing that they're still in operation
I used to take my kids here when they were super little, but as teenagers (14 & 17) they stopped wanting to visit. Yesterday we had some time to kill and they agreed to go along with me and their grandma. We had a blast!
Thought I was really cool for a while seeing all the bozos outside so I felt good about myself, then I realized that I wasn't really so great just another person playing pokemon there pretty much put my life in perspective. You wi. Some you lose some. Go here to feel cool for a minute then have reality hit and bring you down a notch to prove you're just another punk
Walk through experience that is very child oriented and fun filled with facts to get them interested in the field of science, famed for their stick your hand in and guess what's inside by touch experience.

Easily best beer in the area. Brewer knows what he is doing. Friendly service, clean facility, I'll come back anytime I'm in town.
We both loved the dunkel... convivial pub, friendly staff... if you're lucky you'll meet Sailor, the house dog.
Tasty, full flavored. Stopped in for a tasting flight. NEIPA, Helles, Brown, AIP. All good to exceptional.
Lauren was a blast. The flight was great. Lincoln log was my fav 🧡
Most breweries are similar, but in all my experience, I’ve never had a brewery with free bags of Dirty Chips. Oh yeah, their NEIPA is legit as well.
Really enjoyed the beers. The dunked and brown ale were fantastic! Kids loved the games.
Awesome place! tried all 12 beers and each one is unique in its own way. The owner is very welcoming and great atmosphere to relax and have an excellently brewed beer! Totally recommend, we even grabbed some to-go!

The Honor The Mountain monument is a nice tribute honoring the service and sacrifice of the men and women of the 10th Mountain Division (LI). Located in Tower Square, the centerpiece of the beautiful historic Thompson Park, and within walking distance to a playground, splash pad, areas for picnics, zoo and walking trails. Making the monument your first stop is a nice way to start your visit to the park. Access to the monument is ADA compliant. There are benches to sit on and enjoy the view of the monument and the surrounding landscape. Be sure to read the interpretive signs, there are four of them, they are a mini history lesson of the 10th from WW II to the Global War on Terrorism. The three bronze reliefs depict three important eras of the 10th from activation in 1943 to present day. Lastly, don’t forget to look down at the pavers. Some are tributes to the fallen, the living and other service members from other wars and not part of the 10th. Purchasing a paver helps with maintenance of the monument and is a nice way to honor your loved one, friend or battle buddy. To donate, buy a paver or learn more about the monument and the people behind it, visit: honorthemountain (dot) com. Are you a runner or walker? Be sure to look up the annual Armed Forces Day Monument to Monument 5K Run to Glory. It’s a 5k or 3K run or walk. The monument is the North Country’s way to pay tribute to the men and women of the Army’s most deployed division who have sacrificed so much, not just for Fort Drum’s neighbors, but for the country.
This is a peaceful, well kept monument to the history of the 10th Mountain Division in a beautiful park.
Humbling tribute to 10th Mountain Division - the most deployed in America's Army. The monument tributes 10th Mountain soldiers, their families, the civilian workforce on base and the community that helps support them.
Beautiful spot at night. When the sky is clear and the city is quiet it's a very powerful moment.

Very cute place! Something for everyone. Prices are a little high but the staff are so nice.
Absolutely lovely store with local art and authentic antiques. Prices are excellent and the employees were friendly and helpful. I found some really wonderful items and I can't wait to go back for more!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Impossible Dreams Antiques in Watertown, New York, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The prices at this antique shop were absolutely fantastic! I was able to find unique, high-quality items at incredibly reasonable prices. The store itself had a charming ambiance, with a wide variety of antiques beautifully displayed. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to assist me in finding exactly what I was looking for. Their passion for antiques was evident, and they were more than happy to share interesting stories and historical tidbits about the items in the shop. What impressed me the most was the affordability. I was expecting to pay a premium for such well-preserved and unique pieces, but to my surprise, the prices were incredibly reasonable. It felt like stepping into a treasure trove of hidden gems without breaking the bank. Whether you are a seasoned antique collector or just someone looking for a special piece to add character to your home, I highly recommend visiting Impossible Dreams Antiques. You'll find an exceptional selection of items at prices that are truly unbeatable. Don't miss out on the opportunity to explore this gem of a store in Watertown, New York.
I thought there was more in this mall, the one store that is in there is fantastic, you can find all kinds of neat things in there.
This is the oldest mall in America. It is a small strip that had some restaurants, bakery and a antique store. Some of the other shops were closed or vacant. It is a tad dark but overall a neat place to visit while in downtown Watertown.
Love the set up, very quaint and interesting antiques.
Wonderful little shop, loaded with treasures. Very nice proprietors.
