Movie theater
Salmon Run Mall is a popular shopping destination in Watertown, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a variety of well-known retailers, as well as a brewpub and a movie theater. Located just 8 miles from Fort Drum and minutes from the Thousand Islands Bridge via Interstate 81, it's conveniently situated for both locals and tourists. The mall features anchor stores like Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Sears, and the Bon-Ton. Visitors can also enjoy the Salmon Run Theater for movies.
This store is amazing, Went to the AT&T store to get phone straightened out and and young lady there was great. Within 5 minutes she had the phone unfrozen and working perfectly. Didn't even wait 2 minutes for her to ask if we needed help with anything.
Darrell D — Google review
What a depressing experience..this mall was once a bustling place with people and busy stores..now it's filled with junk and mall walkers. It's sad.. The ball tower wasn't even working. When this place opened it was crazy busy and had energy and was vibrant..now it's like an old dog ready to be put down. At least the comic shop, card shop and crystal shop are a few nice small businesses trying to make it and bring something .
Rom M — Google review
It's great to have a mall near where we live in Upstate NY! The mall is small but has the essentials: a movie theatre, food court (El Patron Tacos and JUJU66 boba are my favorites), Victoria secret / PINK, Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, Burlington, Hot Topic, Pottery, Hobby Lobby, nails, massage, arcades / bounce houses for kids and even a gym. I really appreciate how the workers work hard to keep the mall clean. It's busier and more lively during the weekends but if you want a more peaceful shopping experience, weekdays are a lot quieter!
Erika P — Google review
Very standard small city mall. Not much food options. Good place to walk in bad weather. (A must in this part of NY) Has some fun activities like an arcade and an escape room. Mostly standard mall stores, but unlike most malls this one doesn’t seem like it is half a step from closing down.
Phyllis C — Google review
A terrific mall at most. The best shopping experience I've seen. A huge variety of stores. The place is clean and tidy inside and out. Everything is bright and tidy. If your in the area you have to check this place out for the ultimate shopping experience. Dogs are welcome.
Ray M — Google review
We went for a walk through the Mall. My husband and I walked through til we met up with A Touch of Country. We went in to walk around and saw so much we wanted to buy. The man in the store was very friendly and had a variety of signs for sale.

I'm excited to see a furniture store will be opening. I went shopping ay Hobby Lobby the folks in there were very helpful and they had everything I needed.
Helen R — Google review
it’s just boring there’s nothing there unless you’re into zumies the clothing stores are all way outdated the atmosphere is dead it’s got a car dealership? And an Amazon finds store? For what who puts these things in a already struggling and dying mall

Paul was absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately I didn’t get to do a full play through due to having a panic attack before anything even started, but he stopped the game immediately and made sure I was ok! He definitely made the experience fun for our group!
Emily W — Google review
Fun for EVERYONE! Many games to choose from too! My 11 year old had a birthday party here and this is by far one of THE BEST places we’ve ever been to! Paul was able to tremendously host a PVP VR party with a bunch of pre-teens, where safety and inclusion was in abundance. Pizza was included with the party package, as well, so they stayed fueled too. And I, mom, had a very grand time watching from the sidelines while dad joined in on the fun! One of the best options around for the winter months too; keeps you active and engaged!
Stacie L — Google review
We had a great time. Paul was awesome! It was our first time playing and Paul made us feel at ease right away. We probably wouldn't have signed up for it had it not been for his enthusiasm and patience of it all. We'll definitely be back! Was a great time!

I booked the Adventure package for my son's birthday. Katlyn was awesome and a great host. She was quick to pause the game and help one of the kids out when he got a little nervous. He played the next games with no issues. The games were pretty good, too. We will definitely be back.

Katelyn is absolutely amazing. She was so patient with my son. He got a little frightened and with no hesitation she changed the game to a better tolerable game for him. She was very explanatory in how to play the game and expectations. Overall we had the most amazing experience. Thank you Katelyn for your time and effort! You are AWESOME!

Maggie's on the River is a charming restaurant located in a former warehouse with picturesque views of the Black River. The building, once home to the Watertown Thermometer Company, has been beautifully restored, retaining its original brick walls and exposed beams. The restaurant offers craft drafts, cocktails, and a variety of bar fare. Known for serving some of the best burgers in town, their menu also includes appetizers, soups, gourmet salads, and steaks.
Had a great lunch at 1812 on the River. I ordered the pizza and it was absolutely delicious—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The outdoor seating was a perfect choice with great weather and a peaceful view of the river. Service was a bit slow, but it was during the lunch rush, so totally understandable. I’d definitely go back!

Normally I don't do this but tonight was rough. I've had not the best food from here since 812 took over but decided to give it a second shot. Got a large pepperoni pizza, a smash burger, and an order of cheese curds. I spent 13 for the handful of cheese curds to bite into them and maybe 2 of the batch actually had cheese in them as they were very obviously cooked too long and the cheese melted out or dried out. The pizza unfortunately was really soggy and doughy in the middle even though we picked it up right when it was ready as my fiance waited inside . I do really like the flavors of their food, they just really need to fine tune the cook time and quality. The girl on the phone was sweet and patient with the call in for our to go order. I spent 58 dollars and we were really disappointed with the food itself.

We sat at the high top bar table which was super cool and the bar staff served us. Great service but the appetizers took forever to arrive. Wings were good but not happy about them being fried as the description says grilled. Duck nachos were ok not super flavorful and small serving size. Had the haddock and fries, haddock is fried as a big piece I’d prefer several pieces. Fries were warm but server was awesome and asked if I wanted a new batch that were hot which was nice. Also ordered the bbq platter which was good but not sure burnt ends were in there. Overall it was a fun time, great atmosphere, great beers.
Nattywat — Google review
The food is great. The duck confit nachos were a surprise, and tasty even though the smaller portion (it’s over there. Oh, it’s on the first floor, but you have because: duck). I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun. outcome of one of the regular brioche bun with breaded onion, and breaded fries. I wanted a little burger why give me one of all these? I didn’t open it up immediately because I ordered it for dinner and I got it during lunch. what a surprise!

Our experience was great and this was our first time here! My mom and I went for lunch. My favorite was the perch and corn chowder. I could have eaten that all day. My mom had the pulled pork sandwich and said that it was very good, it was filling and not dry. The fish tacos and fries were delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection. The service was great. The lady who served us was so sweet! Overall we had an awesome time there. 😇

The comedy show upstairs at 1812 on the River last night was awesome. Comedians Kyle Martinez, Colin Armstrong & Dan Frigolette were hilarious. The food, service & atmosphere was 10/10. I got the salmon, it was delicious & presented beautifully. The owners were so nice & the party continued to the bar after the show. Very fun crowd. Highly recommend.
Stephanie M — Google review
Sitting outside on the deck was awesome. There was a perfect breeze and it was warm but the upper deck is shaded by the building so no squinting! Not sure what our waiters name was, but although he seemed a little nervous he did an excellent job! The fish tacos were freaking amazing and my wife's Adirondack burger was perfect. Nice view of the Black River with a little bit of rapids.

Breakfast restaurant
Crystal Restaurant, the oldest dining establishment in Watertown, New York, has been serving American classics since 1925. The locally owned and operated restaurant offers a historic setting with its old-time tin ceiling, charming tile floors, and cozy wooden booths. Known for unbeatable breakfast options and mouthwatering home fries with gravy, it's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Patrons also rave about the high-quality burgers, excellent onion rings, and first-rate Reuben sandwiches.
I love this place for its rustic feel. When you walk in, you're transported back to the 1960s. I really like the design and the lamps, and the best part is that they've kept that style. As for the food, it's delicious. The best thing is that they have fresh turkey every day. I highly recommend them. They also have excellent table service.

We were visiting from out of state for the holidays and decided to stop by this place for lunch. The wait time was a but long and the food was decent. The atmosphere was really great though. We tried the famous tom and jerry cocktail. I personally dont like rum so I didnt like it but if you enjoy rum or cinnamon flavor, I’d recommend getting the drink. We also ordered, leg of lamb, chicken tenders, buffalo chicken tenders and buffalo chicken sandwich.
Nikhita C — Google review
Exceptional portion size with fresh ingredients with friendly atmosphere. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and was impressed how it was made with attention to detail. Staff are friendly and professional.

An iconic restaurant in the city's downtown area ! The historic ambiance of the Crystal is unbelievable! Must experience. We were there on Black Friday, and they were very busy! It took a while to get our orders, however, just relax, order a Tom & Jerry! Take in the spectacular furnishings and enjoy.

Great food, even better prices. The staff is super friendly, and the building is just beautiful. You feel like you've stepped back in time when you walk in, from the tile floors, to the original wood work. And the tin ceiling......woah...... Just beautiful!

Great hometown feeling. The staff are super friendly and you immediately feel welcomed. The Reuben was delicious! Only issue was the wait time to get our food but we did show up at the lunch rush. Maybe the next visit will bring the 5th star!

We stopped in from out of town at the recommendation of a friend. We loved everything about the visit - the retro, family restaurant atmosphere, the attentive service from their pleasant, funny wait staff, the quality menu ranging from seafood to comfort food, the generous portions. It was the type of place where you want to try everything.

Cam's Pizzeria is a popular counter-service chain located in the heart of downtown. It offers thin, New York-style pizza with a variety of innovative toppings such as white garlic, cheeseburger, and Buffalo chicken wing. The restaurant has been around since 1925 and is known for its quality pizza. Customers love the friendly staff and the New York City vibe inside the restaurant. While some feel that the prices are a bit high, many agree that the delicious pizza makes it worth it.
First time walking and not knowing what to get. It was like 3pm at the square and it was very quiet. The guys explained the menu, let us take forever to order and then served us with a smile! It was a great experience considering my sister is visiting from down south AL. And I wanted her to have a NY style pizza experience. The cheese pull was amazing and their chicken wings were to die for! Best I’ve had! I wasn’t a fan of the chicken on the pizza but other than that I loved it all! Great job guys!!
Lizaida D — Google review
I'm from Florida and was up to help in-laws. Florida may not be known for pizza but there's a lot of local places here, a lot of new Yorkers that have moved and make new york style pizza. But this place, was my first taste of real new york pizza. I loved it so much I kept the box and plan on framing it
Timothy M — Google review
The prices have gone insane lately...$17.99 for 10 wings, while delicious, seems unreal. $35.99 for a 16" and 10 wings, again, while yummy, seems like pricing has gotten out of hand. A lot probably has to die to limited supplies these days, but good lord. And 3 of the wings weren't even edible, rock hard and the meat is grossly disfigured. That's $5.40 in the trash. Sad. Gotta do better.
Mat R — Google review
My first real NY style pizza was at Cam's Geneva, living in Oswego for more than 30 years I was a regular at the Oswego location. I was very familiar with Tony and we became friends. I have nothing but the best to say about all Cam's in the region until I tried a slice in Watertown. Everything was done correctly except it was under cooked by a minute, which makes ALL the difference in the world!!! I was taught this by the master! Anyway, easy fix, ask for it to go back in the oven for a turn. Unfortunately this caused drama from the older woman working. She was quite rude in response to my simple request. I attempted to make light of the moment and was met with more negativity. After the turn in the oven, the pizza was perfect! Unfortunately, in regards to the service, I was very surprised!. For anyone with similar experiences don't let that stop you!! Cam's has the best slices!!
Tammie G — Google review
Ordered from Cam’s for the first time tonight. New to the area and this place was highly recommended. The delivery time was pretty standard and the driver was a nice guy. The pizza was fantastic. The sauce was well balanced and wasn’t too sweet, the cheese had a good balance of moisture, and the crust was perfectly crisp without being brittle. Some people said that this place was pricey but you get what you pay for and this place definitely earns its money. I’ll be a customer moving forward.

We drive from NC to the Adirondacks every year to camp and look for good pizza along the way. This year, we stopped in Watertown and grabbed 3 pies for lunch. Absolutely amazing! Large pies, fresh toppings, cooked perfectly. The staff was amazing and so nice! They even offered to carry the pizzas to the car for my wife. Very highly recommend!

The pizza "dough" has changed , they use to be the BEST in town / pure perfection in taste and texture. I'm guessing they changed to a different grade or brand of flour a few years back. I keep hoping for things to change back, I miss the best 🍕 in town. 💔

Tapas bar
Spokes on the Square is a well-managed bar that offers good live music and has kind staff. The cocktails are garnished, which adds a refreshing touch. Although the food was not tried, it appeared to be appetizing. This place is the closest one can get to a speakeasy in this area. The staff members mentioned were Dylan, Oceania, and Jamie who provided great conversations and service. It would be even better if there was an expanded selection of spirits available.
Wonderful find in downtown Watertown. Friendly helpful service and incredible beer selection (draft, bottle, and can). Also delicious food, which I didn’t really much expect. Had the mini gyros and they melted in my mouth. Other tapas my neighbors were eating looked equally appetizing. Highly recommend this place if you appreciate craft beer. If you don’t, no worries, they also stock the mass produced stuff.

Great atmosphere and the food was ok. Waited a while to be served and the food came out pretty slow. They were definitely busy.

We sat on one of but family sized tables by the windows, very cool esthetically with the warehouse look. We had the absolute best waitress, she said she was a high school teacher and boy was she ever patient and helpful. She was always making sure we were taken care of. The bologna lollipops were good just was a small amount of them I thought. Pretzel was on the small side too. They were out of your cigars we wanted to order and cheese curds. We had the hotdog, maple blt which was fabulous, bourbon burger (my son tore it up) and the buffalo chicken flatbread which I didn’t care for, not sure why but the base is like a spinach artichoke dip base with shredded buffalo chicken on top, I love them both just not together. Crust was too thick for me personally. Fries were hot and perfect I love a thin cut fry! Beers were tasty I had the prison brew one and it was $5 pint night so bonus. Overall I’d definitely go back!

We loved this place. Luca is a great bartender. He was very friendly and informative. This blood orange cosmo was amazing.
Michelle L — Google review
I ordered the chicken stir-fry today, and one of the main menu points was that it came with cilantro rice. What I received was mushy rice seasoned heavily with dill (or something very close to it)...nothing like cilantro. Dill doesn’t pair well with chicken stir-fry, and it really threw off the whole dish. When I mentioned it, they told me it was “Italian seasoning,” but it was definitely dill, and the flavor was not enjoyable. I’ve ordered from here before and sometimes the food has been okay, but there have been a few other times where dishes have been subpar. They do have some solid menu items, and I really enjoy their beer...it’s consistently great. But lately, the food side has been disappointing, and I think their kitchen game needs to step it up to match the quality of their brews.

Johnny D's Restaurant is an exceptional establishment with a stellar reputation. It is a family-owned and operated venue that offers delectable homemade dishes. The menu boasts mouthwatering options like chicken florentine and Turkey Reuben sandwiches, as well as breaded cauliflower and a hefty 1lb burger served with tasty sweet potato fries.
Driving back home and we were looking for a local coffee shop. We found one but then realized we needed food! Funny enough we went back to our car to look for someplace to eat and found a place right across from the coffee shop (caffeineholics). We went inside and had the best experience! We are both gluten free and were able to have an amazing breakfast! The server was sweet and kind. If you have time to drive off the highway and support local businesses, Johnny D’s is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!

Walked about 20 minutes when it was like 90 degrees out to get there and in the picture you can notice the clock says 8:30 or so and it was in the morning and notice the picture that shows a sign prominently displayed on the front door saying it opened at 8 and it says online 8 so it would have been cool if there was anyone there at 8:30 on a Tuesday morning

My wife got the chicken florentine (scratch homemade & really good) and the Turkey Reuben. I got the breaded califlower and the 1lb burger with sweet potatoe fries. It was all great. Our waitress treated us the respect & warmth as if she own the place, because she does own it with her family. The drinks & plates came to us really fast, even though they were busy. There is a small bar with wine, liquor & 4 beer taps. This is a small venue INSIDE the Paddock Arcade, the oldest mall in America!! It is a challenge to find this resteraunt, but worth the search.

Italian restaurant
Olive Garden Italian Restaurant is a lively and family-friendly chain known for its Italian classics like pastas and salads. Visitors often praise the variety on the menu, with options to suit everyone's tastes. The portions are generous, and many appreciate the unlimited salad and breadsticks that come with their meals. Customers have also highlighted the attentive service they received from friendly and entertaining staff members. Additionally, many find the prices affordable, making it a great option for families.
We stopped over on our way from Ottawa to home. This was our safest choice. Relatively economical but tasty food with nice and clean ambiance. Lots of options for kids and vegetarians. We ordered breaded shrimp and bread with artichoke dip was an excellent start. Bottomless refillable drinks, and bread kept our kids occupied. Servers were very attentive and polite.

We recently visited this restaurant without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised by the short wait time. Upon arriving, we requested a quiet seating area due to sensitivity to loud noises, and the staff was understanding and accommodating. We were promptly seated at a quiet table, which made the experience much more comfortable. Our waitress, Sharrell, was absolutely wonderful. She was approachable, kind, and attentive throughout the meal. Her prompt service and warm demeanor truly stood out, and she even took a moment to be playful with our grandson, which added a personal touch to the evening. The food was excellent. It was served hot and freshly prepared. The creamy Alfredo sauce was perfectly balanced, and the Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara was flavorful and delicious. Every bite was a delight, and the quality of the dishes exceeded our expectations. Overall, it was a great dining experience with exceptional service and food. Highly recommended!

Love visiting Olive Garden. It's one of the restaurants on top of my go-to list whenever I'm out with family. Needless to mention their soups and breadsticks are great. Although I found the kid's meal to be substandard with dried chicken strips and not so fresh looking fries but rest of the items were nice. Service was exceptional, our serve kept checking in intervals and accommodating our requests. Restrooms are clean, plenty of parking. Perfect. We are never able finish our plates and always have takeout bags while heading out lol. We'll be back for more again. Cheers.

Probably the worst Olive Garden I've ever seen. The waitress was messy and ignored me once or twice, lacked mannerisms, and was outright rude after we got confused what she meant when she asked if we'd like any "apps" meaning appetizers apparently. the salad looked as if it had been sitting out and was soggy/drenched in dressing, breadsticks were so salty that I couldn't taste anything. I had the Seafood Alfredo and the scampi was cold and the shrimp were a little gray and half curled (undercooked). My partner had the Tour of Italy, which consisted of overcooked & dry chicken, burnt Lasagna, and normal Alfredo, atleast they can cook pasta correctly. To top it all off we had about 7 or 8 flies all over our meal as if the restaurant has sanitation issues. Atleast the flies were free with the meal and they didn't charge me for them. Throughout the entire meal, we were nothing but respectful and courteous, but the second I asked to speak with management, The waitress became more disrespectful and threw my receipt into my my food (not like I was going to eat it anyways ig?) It seems after this entire experience I would much rather have the fettuccine Alfredo MRE.

Overall good experience eating here. The service was a bit slow but once we got our food everything tasted great! It’s very filling so only get what you know you can eat.

We requested Marianne for our server cus she's incredible and even tho she was actually finishing for the day, our host made it happen. Excellent lunch and great service as usual. My husband had his favorite lasagna and I had the 5 cheese ziti w a crisp white pinot grigio. Love love love our Olive Garden! Thank you Marianne!

I love Olive Garden. I go to this location frequently and it is always a 10/10 experience. However, the most recent time we went, our server made it very obvious she didn’t like us, or her job, nor want to be there. She never asked what size of wine glass, or even whether we wanted soup or salad, and when I asked for soup, it was never brought. I even asked her again and she still never brought it. She never refilled our drinks once — all of our drinks were empty by the time we got our food, but because she wasn’t the one dropping off the food, we couldn’t tell her we needed more drinks. She never checked on us. She purposely avoided checking up on her tables because if she didn’t check up on them, she wouldn’t get asked for things. She was in a horribly grumpy mood and would say things like “I got it the first three times”, “I said it’s coming”, etc. and would give attitude with everything she said without making eye contact and would walk away mid convo. We had a baby with us and we really needed to be quick, but she had us there for an hour and 45 minutes… I love Olive Garden and the food is always spectacular but she was the worst server I’ve ever had at any restaurant, ever.

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Zoo New York, located within Watertown's Thompson Park, spans 32 acres and is the only zoo in the world dedicated to showcasing the native animals of New York State. The zoo offers visitors an opportunity to observe a variety of North American wildlife, including black bears, wolverines, and lynx. In addition to its focus on local wildlife, Zoo New York features a Butterfly House and Olmsted Pond surrounded by wildflowers.
This is a great zoo to visit,we visited here during a weekday and it wasn’t too busy. They have a good variety of animals to look at and the butterfly house was one of our favorite spots.
Whitley S — Google review
Visited mid-week so was very calm and pleasant. The heat kept most animals in the shade staying cool, but some were active nonetheless. Never seen a black bear so close, and one of the zookeepers was playing with the wolves. He'd run back and forth by the cage and they would watch him and do it too! And the otters....! I could watch them play all day. They actually seemed to ham it up for a camera, lol. Can't wait to come back here!!!

Fun little zoo. My wife and I were visiting with no kids. Keep in mind Its a small zoo. While you wont see any monkeys, camals, giraffes, hippos and animals like that, you will see Bobcats, wolverines, bears, elk, goats, eagles, and some reptiles. Admission was only $12 which I felt was fair for what it is, and was well kept and we enjoyed the walk. Deducting a star due to the butterfly house (didnt actually see any butterflies in there) and the petting zoo being closed. Wasn't a huge deal for us, but I could see it being disappointing for families with children. We didnt check out the park that its actually surrounded by, but looks like you could spend a nice day there and I noticed walking paths and playgrounds.

Small but we knew that. A gorgeous day. Very well kept up. Wish all the animals had companions. Took our time. 2 hrs seeing all the local animals. Sci tech bldg was cool. My hand magnet was off the chart! What does that mean..lol! Always see and learn something different. Always buy a gift for the kids and donated. Thank you. Great, friendly staff. Prayers for the sweet animals that we saw. Not the best pics but I tried.

We enjoyed walking around here very much and seeing the local animals of the state. My favorite would be the Wolverine and the otters. Canadian Lynx were great too.

We’ve been members at Zoo New York for two years now and between the zoo itself and all the events they have it’s well worth the price if you live in Watertown and have young kids. We come at least once a week most of the year. My only complaint is that the Halloween things they put up for most of October are way too scary for young kids. I just wish that it were at least set up in a way that you could avoid the spooky things when walking around the zoo, especially since it seems to me that most zoo attendees have pretty young kids.
Kayla V — Google review
This little zoo and science center in Watertown, NY, is an absolute gem! People can be unfair expecting a big-city zoo, but this place has a calm, pleasant atmosphere that’s perfect for families. The kids love visiting the science center, and the butterfly garden was a delightful addition. The wolverine was an adorable little show-off, and the otters were playful and engaging. We also never miss a game at the giant chess set—it’s always a hit with the kids. It’s not huge and doesn’t have many exotic animals, but it’s educational, welcoming, and easy to explore at a comfortable pace. Many of the animals are rescues—injured or unable to survive in the wild—so every visit has a meaningful side. There’s also a playground, and we stumbled upon a black currant bush—such a fun little find, and the currants were delicious! Just across the parking lot is a pool and splash pad, with another playground and a city overlook up the hill. It’s the perfect spot for a full day of family adventures. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Watertown!

It is huge, with expansive views, charming stone steps and walls, sprawling picnic areas, a huge swimming facility and outdoor water area, as well as a big children's playground. Restaurant
Arts Jug is a long-standing family-owned kitchen that has been serving Italian classics since 1933. They offer weekly deals on pizza and chicken, with the option for pick-up. Customers rave about the delicious and fluffy pizzas, particularly praising the garlic with bacon and regular with pepperoni options. The red sauce pizza stands out for its fluffy texture, glorious sauce, and perfectly browned cheese. The restaurant is also known for having one of the best sauces in upstate NY.
Really relaxed atmosphere, amazing food, quick service, could never ask for better. Great with kids, and had clearly posted gluten-free options.

Ordered 2 large pizzas, 2 orders of (crispy) mild bone in wings and a large antipasto salad. Pizza and salad were ok but my celery was definitely questionable (brown) and our wings were soggy. For the price of the food I had high hopes. Very disappointed.
Madison M — Google review
Art's Jug has been has been one of Watertown New York's go to spots for dining for at least 50 years. Eat in or take out the food is always above par. One of their famous dishes is the anti pasta salad, you will see one on almost every table when you enter the establishment. They specialize in Italian dishes. Sit down, order up and enjoy, you will not be disappointed!

Nice steak that was done as requested. My daughter let me try her delightful scallops. My other daughter said her chicken was fine perfectly. My son and husband at all of theirs without complaint. Waitress was pleasant and did a nice job. It was a bit cool at our table but we didn't wait long so the food was a wonderful distraction. Glad we finally thought about a reservation ahead and got to get in. Other times we tried to get in without a reservation and there was no space.

I order a lot of takeout and this is one of the best pick up experiences I've ever had. The food is phenomenal, parking adjacent to the pickup window/door is great, it even has a covered walkway in case you get there a little bit early! They have all the old school Italian favorites with some new stuff as well.

We’ve had much better food at Arts in the past. Ordered the Thursday special online. Got the alert it was ready but get there to find out it wasn’t. Waited 20 min. And the pizza was very substandard. We will definitely be back because Arts houses to be solid food, but lacking this trip.

Bar
Time Warp Tavern is a popular spot that opens early for game days and offers all-day kitchen service with the option of delivery. The friendly bartender, known for her patience and excellent service, ensures a pleasant experience even during busy times. Visitors highly recommend the delectable chicken wings, especially the teriyaki ones paired with flavorful blue cheese sauce. The burgers are also satisfying, but it's the wings that steal the show here.
These wings aren't just the best in the area, they rank right up there with the best from Buffalo. The fact that you can order them in whatever quantity you want is also a nice touch. The bartenders and kitchen staff have always been super friendly! A fishing trip up north isn't complete without stopping here for wings.
Tony M — Google review
My partner and I were in town for a wedding, so we went afterward for a snack. We ended up ordering 18 bone-in, extra crispy wings. Needless to say, they were fantastic - about as good as anything we have had from Buffalo. Both sauces were good, but the Black Bettys were the standout wings. Seemingly grilled and then lightly sauced in a vinegar-base, they were exactly what we needed. Near closing time, the bartender came out to chat with us a bit and filled us in on where to go next, depending on what we were looking to do. An awesome time overall.
R W — Google review
I found the Time Warp Tavern last year while looking for a place to eat on the way to a lacrosse game at St. Lawrence. Saw the great reviews about the wings and decided to give it a try. Very glad I did. I had the Black Bettys, which were amazing. They were crispy, cooked over charcoal with a tasty sauce drizzled on top. Some of the best, if not the best wings I’ve ever had. I thought about those wings many times after that and knew I’d get the chance to go back this year for a lax game at Clarkson. This time I had the Hot Sweetness (on the recommendation of the chef) and the Black Bettys with Hackers hot sauce. Both were awesome. After the game the following day, I stopped by again for more of the same on the way home. I’ve got two more years of lacrosse games in the Canton/Potsdam area before my son graduates and will have to find reasons to get back up there for those wings. Have to also say that the bartender is very friendly and the prices are quite reasonable.

I had the Black Bettys. They are wings. Nothing to rave about. They seem to be grilled then drizzled with some type of sauce which was okay. They are wings.

Burger King, a popular fast-food chain renowned for its flame-grilled burgers, crispy fries, and delicious milkshakes. It is widely acknowledged as the superior option among similar establishments. Customers can conveniently place their orders via mobile devices and experience efficient service through the drive-thru. Although occasionally running out of sweet tea might occur due to unpredictable early morning demand patterns for fast food joints, it is not an issue attributable to Burger King specifically.
Over all great fast food place not alot of wait time to get what you order and customer service is great and will take allergies serious
Hazel W — Google review
I’ve been a loyal customer of Burger King for years, and the Whopper has always been my go-to when I’m craving a good burger. However, my most recent experience was nothing short of terrible, and it’s left me questioning whether I’ll return. I ordered a Whopper meal from Burger King with high expectations, but what I received was a massive disappointment. The burger was completely burnt, not just a little overcooked, but charred to the point that it wasn’t even edible. The patty was blackened, the edges were crisp like charcoal, and the entire thing had a bitter, smoky taste that ruined any semblance of flavor. To make matters worse, the smell of the burnt burger was so unpleasant that it filled the room before I even opened the box completely. This wasn’t just a case of overcooking—it felt like the staff either didn’t care at all or simply weren’t paying attention. It’s shocking that something this inedible would even leave the kitchen. What’s even more frustrating is that this happened at a well-known fast food chain that is usually consistent in quality. For a meal that’s supposed to be quick, convenient, and enjoyable, I was left incredibly disappointed and out of money for a meal I couldn’t eat. I understand that mistakes happen, but there was no excuse for the level of negligence here. Burger King has always promoted itself as a place that delivers “quality food” at reasonable prices, but this experience didn’t live up to that at all. It wasn’t just a bad meal—it was an experience that made me question the standards of this particular location and the chain as a whole. In the future, I’d recommend Burger King’s management take a serious look at quality control, particularly with the cooking process. I didn’t bother contacting customer service because I simply didn’t feel like going through the hassle for what should’ve been a straightforward and decent meal. If you’re looking for a reliably good burger, be cautious, because if your experience ends up like mine, you’ll be left unsatisfied and hungry.
Matthew S — Google review
We ordered food on the app for our family, 7 burgers, 2 large fries, large onion ring and an 8 pc. chicken nuggets. No one was really at the location, we thought it would be quick. Well we were handed 2 bags and pulled away from the window. I told my husband just by the feel of the bags it wasn't our order so we parked in the lot. They gave us the only other car there, their order. I went in and told them, so they handed me the bag that should have been ours. I went back to our car & checked everything. Missing chicken nuggets & 3 burgers were not made correctly. Went back in a 2nd time, was given new burgers. Went back to the car, again they were not made correctly. Went back in a 3rd time, the manager gave us our money back and remade our whole order since it had been 40 minutes since this mess started. I waited for what seemed like forever and our new order came out. Went to the car checked & guess what they STILL couldn't get my order right. 2 of the double cheeseburgers were made with nothing but 2 meat patties and ketchup, the "new" onion rings were ice cold. I gave up and we went to Mcdonalds. Never again.

Specifically said what we wanted in the order, but someone who rung our food didn't put/ring it in correctly as we only had 1 correct sandwich out of 3. The other 2 were not right, and we only found out when we got home. Annoyed.

The fries werw cookes just right and no extra salt was needed. Ordered inside so I could redeem a survey coupon. (There's got to be a way to add it to the app so i coyld gwt crowns foe the rest of my order ) The staff was really impressive as to how polite they were to not only to customers but also to each other. The two young men at the counter made me feel like I was at chick fila lol. Thank you for such a great experience. You rule 😉👑

Some people I know would rather go to the Burger King in arsenal street, but I ate here once before and I had a positive experience. I went here again today and again it wasn’t bad at all. I ordered an ice cream cup, a birthday pie and a medium fry. Overall it was good! I enjoyed the ice cream, I liked the pie and I’m happy to report the fries that brought me a lot of joy as a kid hasn’t skipped a beat. And the lady who took my order and the worker who gave me my food were all attentive and nice. I will say that there was trash on the floor and the tables that I observed still had mess and a little debris on them. And the table I sat at did have a sauce stain. But overall this isn’t a bad location and I will come back if I get that craving for Burger King again:)

Staff were extremely nice and friendly while also being fast! Food was good and hot, fries were made according to orders. Some tables were a bit dirty but mostly the place looked cleaned. JRECK Subs is a popular chain of casual sandwich shops that specialize in serving hot and cold submarine sandwiches, along with soups and salads. They are known for their fresh vegetables and wide variety of ingredients available. Customers have consistently enjoyed their turkey subs, finding them to be delicious and satisfying. Many people consider JRECK Subs to be a must-visit establishment whenever they are in town. The quality of the food has remained consistent over the years, with tasty offerings and excellent service.
She's an aging dining area inside, but it adds to the old-school vibe of this iconic sub shop. Friendly service and excellent food! This is a must try for visitors to the area. Be sure to add the mayo, mustard, oil, and shakers for a true Jreck sub experience! Bread so soft it melts in your mouth (figuratively).

I placed an order online. 2 subs. 1 was a chicken parm. My son picked up the order. When sub got to me it was a chicken Swiss with no marinara sauce. I don’t believe you have to order it with marinara sauce sauce because marinara is in the description. But I had none. The sub was awful because it was very dry. I put my own mayo on it. The second sub was fine, as ordered.

My friend and I went there try their "Sub of the Month" for March, which had corned beef, melty cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing. We also ordered the App of the Month, breaded cheese ravioli. The service was quick and friendly. The subs were good, but they only had 3 kinds of breads to choose from. We enjoyed the ravioli but disagreed on the marinara sauce they came with. He liked it, but to me it tasted sour. I will still go back here again.

Husband & I just moved from South Georgia and wanted something quick for dinner. We looked at the rating and was super excited about trying this place out! We walk in order our subs with what I would consider a non difficult order of two subs. One on wheat with just peppers and provolone cheese & the other being with everything on white bread with pepper Jack cheese.. not only did the lady cooking the meat not register what we wanted but also argued back and fourth with the other lady working.. then proceeded to complain very loudly about wanting to leave. (unprofessional in my opinion) the guy offered her to leave at 8pm while he would stay.. mind you this is at 6:50pm, lobby full.. we finally get our hot subs and after arriving to our home .5 miles away we sit down to eat and our subs are completely MUSH. The bread felt raw and just mushed in your mouth. I took two bites and immediately threw it away. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I’m not sure as to why it even has a high rating that is does. Very disappointed and not worth $30

Love this location. All locations feel like a slice of history but NOTHING in the dining room has changed from when I was 7 years old (I'm 29 now) A few bad experiences always has me skeptical to go to a jreck subs but generally it's not like that. The closers I had the pleasure of ordering from tonight were hilarious and relatable.

Thai restaurant
Wish Thai Kitchen offers exceptional cuisine with prompt service. The dishes are prepared skillfully and served promptly. The roasted duck in curry is exceptionally delicious, leaving no leftovers. The crab appetizer and Tom yum soup are also recommended, despite the slightly higher prices. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and attentive staff. Their menu features a variety of options, including the mouthwatering duck pad Thai which is highly recommended to try at least once.
I grew up in Thailand so my standard of Thai food is high. I can tell you, all the dishes we ate here were delicious and I was not disappointed. And they gave big portions!!!

It’s so delicious here. We got there at 11:15 and it’s busy already. Just because they have a lot of online orders but you still don’t have to wait that long anyway. The server was so nice and polite.

IT WAS THAT GOOD!! I ordered Thai Curry Pork and pineapple THREE CHILI HOT!! I don’t recommend that amount of heat for the faint of heart! I melted the snow banks 5’ in every direction. I finished every bite! Will was always smiling and super friendly!

If you want authentic Thai food, come to this place!!! Take it from someone whose traveled to 🇹🇭. Kudos to chef RJ and the rest of the staff!

Ridiculously good food! We had the specialty dishes- the duck and the spicy chili chicken. So so SO GOOD. And I am assuming it was the owner(s) in the back, the two of them were working so hard to give great service and make great food. Chicken was spicy and delicious, the duck was crispy on the outside and tender in the middle, all the sauces were gas. Highly recommend

I have had the Red, Green, and Pineapple Curry’s (among other things, but the curry’s are my favorite). The meals are always delicious and substantial portions. Services is friendly and speedy. Comfortable and clean atmosphere always.

Definitely recommend!! Can't believe I've never been to this place the whole time I was here. My husband and I ordered the Thai Royal Tamarind Duck and it was so delicious! They don't play with their spice level. Husband got a medium spice level and I couldnt handle it lol. Also tried their mango sticky rice and it was so good!! Highy recommend!!

The food here is delicious. Very exotic flavor profiles. I like the fact that the food comes in to- go containers. It’s a good thing for the servings are big enough for two. Will defiantly be back.

Day 3

Center of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Dry Hill Ski Area, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Adirondack River Outfitters Black River. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Really fun little ski area. $25 night tickets. Great place to take young kids and beginners to ski. They did a great job by keeping certain areas ungroomed to practice your powder skiing. Will highly recommend this small but very mighty ski area.

Great staff, amazing customer service. I had 2 autistic teens trying skiing for the first time. Private lessons were great. Patient instructors who took the teens needs into consideration. I highly recommend.

Summer is still a great time at Dry Hill!!! Come on out and have games with the family! Walk thru the craft venders. Snag a snack at the snack shack! Grab a drink in the bar !!! Not just for winter !! Come on out this sat and find us!

What a fantastic spot for live music and Sunday farmer's market!! The setting is gorgeous. There are picnic tables in the sun if you need a dose of Vitamin D. Huge shade tent as well. Games set up for the kids. Bar open for the adults!! Food also. A lovely way to support some local businesses. Kudos to the owners for making great use of the ski area off season! See you next Sunday!

Cozy, friendly, smaller ski resort. Perfectly groomed and very comfortable skiing with about 4 slopes and efficient staff. Great rentals, warm fire, live music at night and food offered. I haven’t skied in a while so it was a wonderful day getting back to a sport I love.

When I tell you I have found my forever ski home believe me !! I first visited dry hill back in December of 22 and had such an amazing time taking a refresher ski class with Karry . She is an amazing instructor and encouraged me throughout our session, she definitely boosted my confidence. I love everything about dry hill from the food & drinks at the bar to the welcoming staff . The owners are amazing and are active in welcoming patrons and ensuring their comfort. Shout out to the guys in rentals they’re attentive and have a good memory for customers sizes/ rental needs. I had such an amazing experience there that when given the opportunity to visit Watertown again in February 23 that I speedily signed up for a month of the women’s lunch and learn program on the hill. The packages were reasonably priced . This gave me the opportunity to meet with others who have a love for the slopes. While at dry hill I had the pleasure of learning with two other amazing instructors , Tracy ( who was very instrumental in my progress, congratulations on ski patrol cert) and Danny who had the patience of a saint in taking me out on a snowboard 🏂 for the first time. I had such an amazing time over there that each time I went I brought along a different family member to join in on the fun. I love that there is no overcrowding and long lines compared to other places. Everyone takes caution and are mindful of newbies. By the time winter was done anyone watching could see a marked improvement in my ⛷️. I became such a regular everyone knew me by name. I can’t wait to come back for winter 23/24 to be part of this amazing ski family. I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE DRYHILL.

Glad to see it's doing well. Parents were stationed there for 3 years in the late 70's at Dry Hill AFB. We learned to ski there, a lot of good memories that we still talk about today. Loved this place

I contacted Boo on Sunday in an attempt to throw a wedding in 3 days for my daughter and her fiancé who was returning from deployment. I cannot even express not only my gratitude but also what a beautiful and phenomenal job they pulled off. You may not think of them at first for a venue but at first but it will be my #1 recommendation. Absolutely amazing job.

Watertown Farm & Craft Market

Market
Watertown Farm & Craft Market is a popular spot among locals, offering fresh and organic produce at affordable prices. Visitors can find handpicked corn, carrots, and other veggies directly from the farmers. The market is a summer tradition for many, with an array of fresh vegetables and homemade bread available. While some vendors stand out for their delicious offerings, others may be less appealing.
Going to the Farmers market on Wednesdays is a summer tradition. The fresh veggies are wonderful. This year the corn has been really sweet and the tomatoes, beets and cucumbers have been outstanding. We've been buying homemade bread and trying to resist the cookies! There are lots of lunch options but of course Scotty's is the best. He was at the State Fair this week so we tried a couple of other places. The food was good but more expensive. We'll be looking forward to seeing Scotty next week.

love the vibe! just had one bad experience with the last fruit & veggie stand. Owner is MEAN. lol and they are more expensive! I'm not sure if they keep their spot but I'd definitely not buying from her! Filipino bread stand, stuffed peoperoni stand, other fruits stand were awesome!!!! also the coffee truck! YUM!!! I'd go back before season is over!

These were the worst $13 tacos ever. No cheese, lettuce, mild sauce. The meat was dried out. The best part- waited 45 minutes for them. Won't be getting my business again.

Sorry for not rating higher. There is good product there but the atmosphere felt really judgemental and not really welcoming. That might just be my own stuff. It's worth checking out and there are interesting treats and thing but, I think not; bargin pricings...

Mmm, the good local food smells; all in one area. Lots of art and produce. I wish it wasn't just on Wednesday; 6:30-3p seems too short a timeframe, especially for the 9-5ers. Oh, well, there's always lunch.

Just did the Safe Zone room…hands down the best escape room I have ever been in. I have done practically every room now, and every time I go my expectations are exceeded. The owner goes above and beyond and genuinely cares that everyone has the best experience. He also built everything himself and put a lot of thought behind his rooms. One of the most fun activities you can do in Watertown. 100/10

**First Escape Room Experience This was our first-ever escape room, and we had an absolute blast! The theme was **zombie apocalypse**, and the goal was to make it to the safe room before time ran out — spoiler alert: we didn’t make it… but we had so much fun!!! The puzzles were challenging but really clever, and even though we didn’t escape, we loved working together and figuring things out as a team. Highly recommend this room to anyone looking for a challenging and memorable experience — especially if you're new to escape rooms Hints are very helpful.

This escape room was awesome! Owner was very friendly and a joy to talk to! The puzzles were super fun and just the right amount of challenge. The whole setup was really cool and kept us hooked the entire time. Definitely the best escape room I've done with the handful I've done.

I have done dozens of escape rooms and this is truly a hidden gem. My group booked the Safe Zone/ zombie room and we had a blast. The puzzles were challenging but logical, and the room was immersive and true to the theme. Without spoiling anything, there were several mechanics I have never encountered before that made it the most entertaining escape room I have completed! Would give 6/5 stars if I could! Dave is a wonderful storyteller who is also passionate, creative, and witty. He kept the action going when we were stuck on puzzles and provided our group with quite a few belly laughs throughout our stay. If you are looking for something fun and unique, I highly recommend visiting Escape Works Inc. We will certainly be visiting again!

We had such a great time in the CSI escape room! The owner was friendly, animated, and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. Our family had just met our 16-year-old foster placement, and we were looking for something to help break the ice — this was the perfect choice. The puzzles were creative, challenging, and kept us all laughing and working together. It was the perfect way to bond as a new family. Plus, the location was super convenient — right near Cam’s Pizza, so we made a whole night out of it! Highly recommend for families, groups, or anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is a must! I was able to book an event for 8 people with no problems. The owner is awesome. He is very friendly and passionate about his escape rooms and axe throwing. He allowed our group to become familiar with the axes before we tried on our own. It was awesome. I cannot recommend this place enough. If your looking just for something to do or want to have a team building event this place has you covered.

-Big Review- Summary: Nice spot with plenty to see and do. Plenty of bars, shops, tattoo shops, game hobby shops, small clubs, NY quick eats, and a nice Park in the center. The farther from the center you go, the more sketchy it becomes. Weekend nights have a rowdy bunch that hang outside of the bars, but that's to be expected. Parents/Adults/Out-of-Towner: Get a babysitter for a date night. Not much for kids here other than the small park in the center, which is a short visit at best during the day. Place is mainly adult oriented with some places for young adults also. Pokemon GO players: Numerous Pokestops and Gyms throughout the area. Plenty of Pokemon spawn here and I find lures popped at the Pokestops consistently. If hitting the spot late at night, be sure to either bring something for self defense, and/or rove in a group for safety purposes. I've not had an issue traveling alone yet, but I'm a hard target.

I booked my first appointment back in July 2023 with Jade at Mint Julep and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! Jade is an absolute angel! I look forward to every single appointment with her. She is such a sweet person and knows how to do her job well. She always ensures you’re comfortable and okay throughout the process, plus her conversations make every appointment so much better. Her room is calming, inviting, and always clean. Truly going to miss her when I move! If you need a wax of any sort, Jade is your girl!

Ok, I can’t say enough good things about this place. First off, the salon itself was chefs kiss. Clean, sanitary, and relaxing. I saw Kaitlynn today for the first time for a facial. The service I got was top tier. I got a custom facial with dermaplaning which came with a shoulder massage. I walked out of there feeling like a new person. Her attention to detail, quality of service, and personality is the reason I will be going back for a second appt. 10/10 recommend Kaitlynn. You wont be disappointed.

So I am a bad nail biter and they offer this gel polish to help grow and strengthen my nails. So I just got it done tonight. I will let you all know how it turns out. The lady that did them was named Haylee. She is amazing. I think we talked longer than getting my nails done. She is very knowledgeable and very good at her job. I will be back. Also, I got my friend a facial with dermaplaning. Kaitlin did it. My friend absolutely loved it. She felt comfortable and everything. We both will be back.

I have been coming to Mint Julep since August 2024. The experience is EVERYTHING! The staff is amazing and very kind and considerate. I receive ALL of my Brazilians from Jade! She is literally the BEST!. She’s super sweet, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and honestly one of my favorite people in the world.! I go here for the waxes, but I’m most excited just to see her lol 🥰. She’s gentle and never fails to get you as smooth as a baby’s bottom! She is truly passionate about her craft, I can’t express it enough. Just have to see for yourself !! ♥️

ONE OF A KIND WAX EXPERIENCE!!! In the last 6-8 months I have had the pleasure of getting regular Brazilian waxes from Jade, and I can confidently say that she has completely transformed my waxing experience. Before finding her, I was seeing a waxer an hour away who did such a poor job that it honestly made me reconsider waxing altogether. However, from the moment I stepped into Jade's room, I felt a sense of relief. She is not only incredibly skilled/knowledgeable but also has a warm and welcoming demeanor that instantly put me at ease. Jade took the time to explain the process and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing a high-quality service continue to be evident The results every time since my first appointment have been phenomenal! I had never experienced such a clean and thorough wax before. Jade's technique is impeccable, and she truly knows how to make the experience as painless as possible. I would also like to point out jades evident passion for her job and professional development. I walk out feeling confident and rejuvenated, and I can honestly say I've found my new go-to wax specialist If you’re looking for a waxer who is not only talented but also genuinely cares about her clients, I cannot recommend Jade enough. She has completely changed my perspective on waxing, and I’m excited for my future appointments with her!

Love it!! It's a Watertown Staple, and has been since I was a kid!!❤️ I got their Monday buy 1 get 1 Special for Pizza, & YOU CAN NOT BEAT IT!! The Wing sauce that they throw in too 🍗🤤👍❤️

Hands down the worst wings I have ever had. The wings came with no sauce but instead about a half gallon of oil,no flavor, no reason to ever buy these. I honestly thought I was going to have to contact BP to clean up this oil.

Consistently great wings and other delicious fried foods. Honey-Hot is my favorite flavor wing sauce but Butter-Garlic is a very close second. I recommend you order a bunch of wings (with 2-3 sauces) and a large mozzarella sticks. Then walk it over to Boots Brewing and eat it there. How can you beat great beer and great wings?
Scott F — Google review
I always love getting wings from here. They are very good. I do feel that the personalities of the employees could use and adjustment. I would not say they are rude, obnoxious or anything like that. They just aren’t very personable. I am not a very social person so I get it. But, I also do not work in a field that is reliant on customer interaction. When you are providing a service for the public and need to interact with them, you may want to hire some employees that are ready for that task. Like I said, the food is great, hence the stars. Would likely go to 5 stars if I saw some different employees who looked like they actually enjoyed having employment.
Lester S — Google review
We ordered 60 wings, one box of honey BBQ and one box of honey mustard. The boxes weren't labeled so it was hard to differentiate. Wings were very good, lathered in sauce, we just couldn't tell the difference. Also fried dough is delicious.
Jacqueline T — Google review
Such a great place! Being from Buffalo, home of the chicken wing, it's darn near impossible to find good wings. The chains all serve microwave breaded soggy things they pass off as wings but not here! These are authentic, classic, amazing tasting wings just like back home. Their pizza is amazing too! So appreciate finding them! Support your local businesses and give them a try! Mike - Rolling Home RV Rentals
Rolling R — Google review
When we entered the staff ignored us as we waited to place our order for about 5-10 minutes, then when they finally took our order they were incredibly rude and dismissive. When they brought the food out after about a 45 minute wait they didn't bring any cutlery, and when we asked for some they handed us a single fork to share across 3 people. As for the food, it was nasty and overpriced. The wings we got had almost no flavor and tough as leather, we also ordered Chicken cordon bleu, which instead came out as grilled chicken covered in mediocre cheese; the lasagna we ordered was obviously a frozen tray lasagna and not worth the $12 we paid for it.
Kray S — Google review
The pizza here is amazing. I've tried all of the other pizza joints in the area. Even the ones who are hyped up aren't as good. Not to mention those dedicated pizza spots charge an arm and a leg for pizza I actually like less than the pizza here. The prices here are so good, especially if you take advantage of the specials. Delivery time is hands down faster than other places too. Food was hot, the driver was courteous, and I'm now a loyal customer. The only suggestion I have is more of a special request for a kick butt gyro meal and then I'll be in heaven!

Pizza restaurant
Little Caesars Pizza is a popular fast food chain known for its wide variety of menu options. They offer delicious chicken wings, signature breadsticks, and pizzas made from their own homemade dough. The pizza toppings might not meet everyone's expectations as they lack creativity and imagination. However, the cheese was perfectly done while the pepperoni fell somewhere between regular and extra according to the picture.
Who knew the greatest Pizza in New York would be at this Little Caesars🙌 Shout-out to Greg🔥 my man literally delivered our pizza to us while we were sitting in our car. 10/10 just don't recommend the pretzel pizza
Nicholas R — Google review
I would like to start off by saying that the people and the atmosphere are amazing. I don’t have a single problem with any employee that I speak to in little Caesars, they are all very nice and very helpful. The establishment is also very clean, and I have never seen a mess in the place which I never have had that experience at other restaurants. With that being said, the reason I’m giving three stars is because I have an issue with the food I receive. Because the food is the main thing I come in for, I am disappointed with my experience the past three or four visits. I specifically put in custom orders for my pizzas to make sure that I am given extra cheese and extra sauce. Unfortunately, my past three or four pizzas I have not received extra sauce at all and sometimes I don’t receive the extra cheese either. I completely understand being overwhelmed with customers and usually don’t have an issue, but I pay extra(depending on the pizza type, some don’t cost extra when customizing) to make the pizzas custom specifically for those two items. I have even called in when my pizza was made to make sure extra sauce was put on it, and the only time extra sauce has ever been put on my pizza was when I called in. I have to walk to Little Caesars and back so I don’t have the convenience of driving there to get my pizza fixed or to get a refund. My son still enjoys it so I don’t usually complain but I would like to know what I have to do to get it made the right way. I still think the people there are amazing, I am just disappointed in the actual food. I’ve added photos to show the lack of sauce on my pizza. It’s been very dry the past few orders.

Ordered 2 classic pizzas one of which looked like someone had eaten from. Had to drive all the way back to the store in the middle of our dinner just for an employee to give some lame excuse and toss another pizza at me. No apology no how can I make this experience better for you, just a box tossed at me. Not impressed.

I've literally never had a bad experience at this little caesars. My family and I have been buying your guys food for the last 5 years. I've never had a bad experience with the people who work there everyone is always been very friendly. Specifically in the evening shift when it's really busy those guys and ladies are have all been very cool. I don't know if the owner of the place reads these reviews, but if they do this store is doing a great job.
Jason W — Google review
I ordered at 1030 right when they open I expected fresh pizza just made and it definitely was NOT you can tell it was made yesterday and just warmed up. Not sure why people would want to serve old pizza and be proud but this is the last time I order from here. 🤮
Tia — Google review
WHY can they never get my order right?? I’ll spend half the year only getting cheese pizza b/c they can’t mess that up, right? But then I’ll try AGAIN to get other toppings & they ALWAYS mess it up. Stuffed crazy bread crust—NOPE. Just regular stuffed crust. Pepperoni on half—NOPE. Pepperoni on 3/4. Half of the pizza is for a vegetarian! Pepperoni is the only meat I dare TRY to get on half, b/c any other meat is too hard to remove from the half that isn’t supposed to have it. And they never go just a *little* bit over half w/the meat—its always WAY over the middle. Good grief. I used to be a pizza cook so I know for a fact that it takes *minimal* effort to just make it the right friggin way.
Renée L — Google review
They advertise a $10 pizza with all the toppings you choose. The Watertown NY location said absolutely not, even when a showed them on line. I still like the pizza though

Stop in for lunch all the time and every visit is amazing! Harley and the all the girls working are always in a great mood and happy to make whatever weird request I have! Always a pleasure to get lunch here!

Excellent Service and Outstanding Staff! I had a great experience at this location on Friday, 8/22/25, around 12:45 PM. The women running and operating the store at that time were absolutely outstanding—friendly, efficient, and professional. Every item was made to order, and the quality and freshness were exactly what I expected. Great service and great food—highly recommend!

Great upgrade to facilities. Outstanding subs.
Lee H — Google review
Rolls were mushy sea salad too much mayo. Couldn't eat the whole sub. And this happened another time (dining in) The veggy was mushy also and didn't have the same chopped red peppers. She couldn't finish her sub either. I could mention another issue but that has to with many cutting back on their serving.
Michael V — Google review
This Jrecks is my favorite and really the only one I go to anymore! Everyone is always friendly and the service is quick, which is great for a short lunch break! Really has turned around since they reopened! :)
Ariel A — Google review
Have been going to the Washington street location for decades and up until recently have always been happy with my experience. Sure the occasional mistake has been made but mistakes happen. Recently though things have gone WAY downhill. Five times In a row my order was not right- the first three times I shrugged it off as I said mistakes happen. The last two times I spoke up only to be told I was being rude and I would not be allowed to treat their employees “that way”. Yesterday the supervisor told me they were considering banning me. So I asked who the manager was and when I could speak to them. Well… Harley is the manger and when I went in to speak to him today he could not have been ruder. Wouldn’t even give me a chance to voice my issues- told me he already knew all about it and had witnessed my rudeness. I seriously could not get a word in. I’m sure he believes he’s now “banned” me however the only words I did get in were that I would be taking my business elsewhere. When I told my husband about this he said he too has had to go back twice to have his order remade because it was incorrect and both times was told it was because he ordered it incorrectly. Between the two of us and our son we were there multiple times a week spending anywhere from ten to forty dollars which we will now be spending elsewhere. Speaking up when something is incorrect should not result in blaming the customer . You are in fact in the business of customer service. I have been in the hospitality business for longer than both Harley and the female supervisor have been alive and dealt with my share of rude customers - but NEVER have I blamed them for their issues. I’ve done my best to address their issues and make them right. My mistake for believing I deserved the same. Especially when I was only “rude” ( in truth assertive in sticking up for myself) to the supervisor and Harley and that was only because they were threatening to ban me for having the nerve to want what I ordered the way I ordered it. For those who have had similar experiences ( and the more people I tell about this the more people I find who have ) I understand Piggly Wiggly makes a great sub that’s less expensive and a better roll!
Donna K — Google review
I just want to give the staff a round of applause, I was in the other day around 3 and they had to deal with the rudest customer. The staff handled it very professionally and deserve some recognition! And I hope people like that rude lady they had to deal with aren't aloud to come back!

Bar
The First Round Bar is a tranquil spot where people can relax and enjoy top-notch cocktails in a peaceful environment. The bar area is not overly large but offers an impressive assortment of superb beers and creative mixed drinks. It has garnered a loyal customer base over time, with patrons who haven't visited for an extended period still finding the excellent pizza unchanged. The staff are known for their friendliness, and Frank, the manager, is praised for his adept handling of pricing amidst current market conditions.
Great place to have drinks. The bartender was nice and service was great.

Been a long time patron. Haven't visited in a long time. Pizza is still as good as ever. Friendly staff. Great prices. Can't go wrong. Thank you, Frank, for managing the prices so well in this current market.

I am new to the area and an uber driver recommended this bar. I am so happy he did! The bar tenders are amazing. The vibe is nice. They have games, music, and tasty food! On the weekends it starts getting busy around 9ish. So come early to secure a spot. So happy I cane here! Loved it!
Janae M — Google review
Food is fantastic but way too loud for dining in on wing nights. Shots are ridiculously priced as well. Half a Robo medicine cup for 3$ is just...wow...
Stephanie B — Google review
Not too shabby of a place to grab a drink with a friend in Watertown. They serve food until 1am. Prices are reasonable! Darts available.

Thursday Night Special was amazing, and the service was awesome!

Bartender girl ignored my partner and I when after we sat down. She kept talking to the same two fellows at the bar, nevermind her job. We had to ask for the menu ourselves, and she never bothered to come for asking us for a drink. We decided to leave after 20 minutes of waiting.

We tried this place based on the reviews and rating...I gotta say...it was not good. The food was mediocre at best. Slides were dry and the fries were soggy. No draft beer. It was clearly a local place which is fine but not a sports bar that it claims to be. Will not come back.

Bowling alley
Sports complex
Pla-Mor Lanes in Watertown is a fantastic spot for family fun and honing your bowling skills. With 16 lanes, it offers ample space for an enjoyable bonding experience. The center's staff is known for being helpful, the facility clean, and the food delicious. While some visitors have expressed concerns about cleanliness at other establishments, Pla-Mor Lanes maintains high standards to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
Great alley. Very clean and the lanes are kept up to date as well as the computer systems. I bowl on a league here and I love it. Very friendly staff
Bailey C — Google review
Nice, but small.... Friendly staff. Only issue is the lack of enough parking..
Deb C — Google review
Good building with good lanes. My only complaint is it feels like there isn't enough seating for all the lanes.
Bee S — Google review
Great place for bowling. I see by some comments that some are upset about taking their shoes off, thinking that someone would steal them. No worries these people would not steal your shoes. It's to help with maintaining the carpets. Weather can be awful and it is hard on the floors. .Just try and understand. Everyone has a bad day. I'm sure you have had a bad day too.
Valarie H — Google review
As soon as we walked in we had horrible service. There is a sign on the inside of the door that said leave your shoes here for the safety of others, and I can understand that but when the lady came out to see us she was like leave your shoes here and go.then we asked if we could bring them with us and she said NO.we did not want them to get stolen and she said they don’t look good so don’t worry about it. then the smaller kids were waiting at the counter for our shoes and the person at the counter asked how many we said hang on a sec we are not ready and with attitude said well the longer you wait the less time you have to bowl and we were like what? And she said if you are going to give me attitude then you can get your shoes and leave. But we weren’t giving her attitude another person from our party asked what was going on and she told us her story which was not what happened and then she told us to get our shoes and leave. If I could I would rate it 0 stars
Phoenix H — Google review
We always have an excellent time when we spend a family day here😀 The staff is helpful, the place is clean & the food is yummy! My only wish is that it wasn't quite so expensive, but you can usually find a coupon or deal if you search for it.
LoriAnn A — Google review
We walked into this place and got a lane today. I can assure you that this was the first and the last time we will go to this bowling alley. My girlfriend went to get a soda from the food counter and she said she would like to pay with a card bc she had no money on her the guy working behind the counter's response was "Really?" The guy got all agitated about it. Also the staff was extremely rude to us for no reason whatsoever. The lady giving the shoes out freaked out bc a ball got stuck in the gutter and yelled at my friend bc her kid was too young to bowl even though we were paying for him and they had the correct shoe size for him as well. And if I'm going to be completely honest this was the worst experience I've ever had in a bowling alley in my life we were very nice to the staff and they were extremely rude to us the whole time.
Tom D — Google review
I took 2 of my Granddaughters bowling at your establishment a couple of weeks ago and we had an AWESOME Time!!! However, they wanted to try Seaway because of the music. So, we went today. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! The whole place was dirty, nothing worked right! The lanes, the games, even the ladies room doors didn't shut or lock! The food was bad & over priced! They didn't have enough sizes in kids shoes or balls of any sizes! The balls they do have, have been around for 50 years! I or Anyone in my Family will NEVER go there Again! If you guys started a Rockin' Bowl & offered more open bowling, you would put them out of BUSINESS!!! Read their reviews & the Owners lame responses. Pla-mor FOREVER!!!

Libraries
Nestled in the heart of Watertown, the Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library is a stunning architectural gem that dates back to 1904. This two-story masterpiece showcases exquisite artwork and an impressive rotunda, making it feel more like a museum than a traditional library. Designed with Grecian influences, its intricate details both inside and out reflect the skill of master architects.
A beautiful library that appeals to people of all ages. There are also many historical materials for those who want to witness history. It is also a perfect place to have a good time with the family. You can also play the honeycomb game😂 with your family without being stressed.😎

Beautiful library! I love the combination of the old part and the new part. I enjoyed that they made part of the library as a museum but you can use it still. They need to name the lions :). Definitely a destination place when you are in the Watertown area.

Absolutely beautiful library and historical building full of a great selection of documents, books and even graphical novels.
Gil D — Google review
Part of the North Country Library System, the Flower Memorial Library is a peaceful historical gem in downtown watertown. The librarirans are pleasant and very helpful. They also hold a variety of community based events throughout the month. There is plenty of space here if you want a quiet area to soak into your literary adventure. Reading areas are comfortable and somber surrounded by ornate artwork and mosaic glass ceiling panels..and the best part all of it is free! Got get yourself a library card and read a book or two or three..its hard to stop once you start, you just have to start
Udip R — Google review
Not like any other "library." It is a stunning marble 'temple to knowledge.' The entrance opens into a two story marble rotunda with a stain glass ceiling and 12 bronze zodiac in the marble floor and a second floor balcony accessed by marble stairs. There are antiques, paintings of 1812 naval engagements, portraits of 1800's businessmen, naval & army officers and govt officials. Oh ya, they have books too!
Steve L — Google review
In all of Watertown this library is probably my favorite place to hang out. Whether you need a quiet place to study, a play room for the kids, or business on the computers; this is the place to get it done. The selection is impressive for such a small town. They've got books, CDs, movies, and even a few games all for rent with your free library card. Up to 20 books at a time too! The staff is knowledgeable and very nice. If you need help finding anything, even on the internet, they've got you covered for sure. The sheer amount of events going on at this library is great. Definitely a community based family center. Special nights for movies, Legos, Minecraft, art, tabletop gaming, name it and they have it. A+++ definitely recommend!

We hired Savory Downtown to cater our small, COVID style rehearsal dinner for our wedding last weekend. As usual, Jay and his team knocked it out of the park: delicious food, top-notch service that makes you feel like you’re part of the family and an overall stellar experience. Catering and food service is really challenging during these strange times and I have to hand it to Jay for going above and beyond to make sure that our event was special despite the new and different ways of doing things. Bravo to Savory for getting creative so that catering can still happen! We are so grateful for their willingness to work with us on a totally custom menu, and for delivering (as usual) great food and great service. Highly recommend!

Stayed at the Best Western and had dinner here a couple of nights.. The staff are like night and day. Excellent service at the bar.. Not so good at the tables. The prices are really good especially during happy hour and the food was tasty. Would definitely recommend Savory but suggest bar seating for the best experience.

I have never had service so poor and pathetic until I came to this establishment. I don't know if the waitress was just having an off day or what the issue was but she would take 15-20 minutes to come check our table and this was near the end of our meal. I caught the waitress sitting at another table socializing and when I was looking around so I could pay and finally leave she asked if I was looking for her. What should have been a 30-45 minute dinner turned out to be more over an hour mainly because of the horrible customer service. I only rated 2 stars because the fries were really good but not good enough to sit through another night of poor service. I have only been to one other restaurant inside a hotel and for good reason.
Robert ( — Google review
As I walked in I thought oh this looks nice. I ordered, and service is so slow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also their cheese tastes weird. There was a bad view from the window, my pizza tastes good, but it’s cut in an odd shape and the silverware was dirty... like, clean it people! The Shirley temples could also use more flavor.
Dak — Google review
I thought they should have 2 people at the bar at all times. And their bar well stocked at all times. If your having a party in the other room just not have beer and wine People might prefer something else. Waiting for 20 minutes for a drink at the bar when no one is sitting there but 4 people is a little to much. And if the bartender's listen to what the person wanted instead of speaking off to make the drink come back and it isn't what they ordered. Come on now
Jackie P — Google review
I called several times to inquire about catering for my wedding - each time I spoke to a woman who took my name and number and just would not call me back. Then I called to speak to the owner. I was told the manager would call me back but the woman I spoke to earlier called me back. Never got the manager or owner on the phone. Honestly, it was like a twilight zone experience. What small business doesn't want the money. Horrible customer service, PR and sales skills. We can do so much better than this, really.
Sabrina W — Google review
I was a bit skeptical after reading a few reviews, but finally decided to form my own opinion and eat here. I was glad I did. Going for lunch today, there wasn't many people there, so it was very quiet except for the background music via radio. The lunch I chose was so much for one person in size, I had to take most of it home. The portions were that big. The spinach artichoke dip was incredible with heated chips and the build your own pasta had veggies in the alfredo sauce and the chunks of chicken were huge. The meal even came with a salad! The waitress Donna was very sweet! Loved eating here!!

Sandwich shop
Pizza restaurant
Today, I was in Watertown and sought a local eatery for lunch. After searching on Google, I stumbled upon Mr. Sub Sandwich Shop. It was the top recommendation and conveniently located nearby. Opting for a half of their Super Italian sandwich accompanied by Mac salad and a soda, I was delighted with my choice. Upon entering the shop, it was bustling with customers, but the staff efficiently served everyone with personalized attention and friendliness. It truly felt like an excellent discovery.
I have no idea how Cam's, which is on the same block, is still open. Mr. Sub is REAL pizza. I have driven past this place countless times and never stopped because it's tiny and hard to get to. Big mistake!!! Easily the best pizza in Watertown/Carthage/Adams area with absolutely no comparison. FYI: If you get a "medium", that's a large round pizza - if you get a "large" thats a large Sicilian.

A humble little sub shop with a big menu. Had the Greek salad which was great with the added pickles. Some interesting items that were also available were pickled eggs and fresh cookies. Good prices and very friendly staff. Great place for a quick and tasty meal.

Coffee shop
Tim Hortons is a beloved Canadian coffee chain known for its signature premium-blend coffee, light meals, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. On my first visit during the festive season, I was charmed by the holiday decorations and enjoyed a steaming cup of Original Blend alongside a delightful Christmas tree donut. The flavors were spot on! However, I did notice that cleanliness could be improved as some tables were left dirty and trash bins full.
For my first visit it was pleasant. I came in on Black Friday wanting to give this place a try thanks to my trip to Korea making me love coffee culture. The place was decorated in Holiday attire. I ordered a medium Original Blend and a Christmas tree donut. The coffee was nice and hot. And the donut was delicious. I was planning on staying around longer to draw in my sketchbook but since it was an hour before closing as they were to close at 2 PM and I was there around 1 PM I left after finishing my donut as I didn’t want to hold them up. The service was nice and overall it seems like a nice enough place. I’ll be back again:)

I ordered the iced cinnamon Caramel coffee. It was delicious, like usual. The store was very borderline gross. Full trashes, dirty tables, just generally dirty. I can see there is only 3 employees on, and they were very busy in the drive thru.

The staff were exceptional and the coffee tasted great. My brother tried a new drink and was really happy with his choice. This Tim Horton’s is one of my favorite stops when I am in town.
Jess S — Google review
Everytime I have gotten coffee from here over the past few weeks it has tasted burnt and stale. I know that closers have a tendency not to brew fresh pots every 20/30 mins but I mean if there is less than a half of a pot and someone orders a extra large just brew a new POT of coffee so it’s fresh you’ll have to start one anyway for the next customer. It’s not like they are charging you to brew a fresh pot it’s part of customer service and it isn’t going to cause you much effort. Just ripping the bag putting it in the filter and hit a button! It’s every time I get coffee here lately !! It’s such a waste of money and a disappointment when it tastes like that and it’s my only stop on the way home from work. So please. Just talk to your staff about the importance of brewing fresh coffee. Like tonight there was a small line the poor guy was by himself and a girl was outside sitting on the curb by the door talking with a couple people clearly on the clock with a headset on. She didn’t budge a bit because once I left the drive thru with my order she was still sitting there talking away and if she would have provided the one guy working with some HELP.. he might not have been so overwhelmed and had time to brew a fresh pot... just saying because if it taste like this again I’ll have to get my money back I’m sick of dumping an extra large down the sink..
Cee L — Google review
