Guggisberg Cheese Shop has a very nice selection of delicious cheeses, made on site in their cheese kitchen. Nice stop on route 557 on the way to Charm, Ohio. The ladies working the cheese boards will let you try as many cheeses as you want. We bought four cheeses including Baby Swiss, Vintage Select Emmental, Pepper Jack, and Thunder Jack. Highly recommend all 4 of these!
This is a must see when you visit the Amish! They have the best baby Swiss cheese I’ve ever tasted. Others make baby Swiss, but it doesn’t come close! Plan a day and time when their factory is making cheese and you can watch through the glass window.
Great place for some of the best Premium Swiss Cheese Products that you can find. Located off of SR 39 on SR 557 in Millersburg Oh. If you love cheese, be sure to stop at the quaint little shop for a great experience!!! Here are photos from our trip of September 2025...
Such an amazing place for cheese lovers! They have plenty of options and the best part, you can sample as many as you like before you buy! We came in for smoked gauda, but ended up buying premium Swiss too. Outstanding quality and reasonable prices. My honest recommendation!
This is a very small place. It’s also very busy even in off season. All the staff were new except for one lady who was training the others. You can vaguely see through a window at a cheese bin. There was no welcome greeting or thank you’s for purchases. The woman at the cashier upfront by the entrance was very cold as were all of the others except for one woman. I waited at a counter for quite a while, but no one turned around. When I asked a question no one turned around for quite some time. It was obvious each woman was hoping one of the other women would turn around first. Don’t expect any info about making cheese, or a warm cheery experience. The place is too small and over crowded. I also think understaffed.
Bought the large slice pepperoni for my pizza with shitake mushrooms and smoked gouda pizza, great taste. Also bought the baby Swiss and pepper jack cheeses. Both cheeses had a nice tang or sharpness that tastes better than other cheeses. I would certainly buy these items again if sold in Northeast Ohio. I took a 2 hr drive to visit the Guggisberg store.
Such a wide variety of cheeses to choose from! Picked up a wheel of baby swiss along with garlic and dill cheese curds that my grandaughter loves so much. Also Amish butter cheese and an apricot winslet to try. I choose a lemon blueberry thyme preserve that will compliment my cheese selection nicely.
We love Guggisburg. We stop any time that we are in the area and stock up! I love that they are lactose free! So many wonderful choices, great selection! I highly recommend!

Great stop! Huge selection of healthy mums and pumpkins. Bakery counter line was long. Lots of offerings in the store such as soup starters, noodles, spices, fresh produce. Peach Cider slushy was surprisingly good. Separate building with wood and leather products. Worthwhile stop.
Me and my husband truly enjoyed a Saturday afternoon at the farm! We didn't get to do everything that we wanted to do because the lines in the market where so long and there were so many groceries to buy! The gift shop was very nice as well, I went on there for a leather belt and left with that and a purse 🤣 grab the family, enjoy the drive, and experience what farm life has in store for you!
A great family oriented place especially for the kids to experience a visit with farm animals. Plenty of great food shopping for fresh meats, fruit, jams jellies candy, flowers and more. Hershbergers Farm offers some amazing and fresh food products and bakery items at fair prices. Always busy with loads of parking. they have a food trailer on site for breakfast or a burgers and more. The only continued disappointment with this place is the poor restroom facilities. You would expect with such a huge complex that handles thousands of people per year that the management with offer especially the older folks a better place to use than the current awful bathroom and the porta potties. So if you make a stop beware.... Wife and i visit 2x times per year for their great food items.
We love everything about this farm! The bakery is amazing, the food you can buy, the fall decor like the pumpkins and other items are the icing on the cake. There are other activities you can do here as well. We have been on a buggy ride and the driver was amazing. We also did the pumpkin patch ride to pick our own pumpkins and it was really fun too. Our kids really enjoyed it. It’s always one of our main stops while we are visiting!
We took the whole crew out to Hershberger’s—kids, grandparents, and all—and had such a great time. This place is a perfect family stop if you're in the area. The petting zoo is the main attraction, and it did not disappoint. Our kids loved feeding the goats, petting the bunnies, and seeing the giant horse (Big Ben is no joke). It’s a great way for little ones to get up close with animals in a clean, safe, and fun environment. We didn’t eat while we were there, but we did pop into the market and picked up some fresh produce. Everything looked great, and the prices were reasonable. It’s got that classic, small-town charm you hope for in Amish Country—nothing fancy, just friendly people and quality goods. If you’re traveling with family, especially with grandparents in tow, this is a spot worth visiting. It’s relaxed, engaging for all ages, and full of those simple joys that make for great memories.
One of our favorite places to visit in Holmes County! There is an on-site bakery with lots of treats to purchase for $1. They also make popcorn in a kettle over an open fire, sell handmade leather goods produced on site, textiles and wooden toys. If you love farm animals, there are goats on the barn roof, large and small farm animals and even some exotic animals to see. It is run by Amish folk. They also have a great selection of bulk spices, grocery items, and some pies and produce. The country drive is worth every penny you’ll spend on fuel! Don’t miss this country gem!
If you want beautiful fresh produce, nice selection of pies and other goodies in an organized clean and well maintained store, then this is the store for you. Fresh smelling produce before you enter the store, like I've never seen. The Amish people know how to grow and sell their goods supremely well. They've got it down to an art. I can respect the time effort and diligence it takes to do the work they do. They do not skrimp on anything they do. The stores all over Amish country delight and amaze. There is so much to see. Also here are horse and buggy rides. I would like to try out if I get the chance to come here again. Also there is a petting zoo here.
Has become a huge success over the years. Petting zoo Expansion has become the highlight. We've been coming for years and love it more each time. Plenty to do, bring the kids and make memories.

Very cool and unique experience! We brought our 10 & 13 year old boys and they had so much fun. I saw a previous review about the "vicious" dog. My kids LOVED the dog (Phoebe) and she was quite entertaining. Very friendly! You get to your 2 houses and the tour guide is very informative. We learned a lot! The barn was great if you like animals. The sheep are so sweet! The horse & buggy was fun and just something everyone should do at least once. Our drivers name was Murph, he was so sweet and our boys loved him. The schoolhouse was so so, but I'd still look at if it's your first time. They have bathrooms and picnic tables on the property. They also have a bakery and small gift shop.
Wonderful day at the farm. Learned a lot about the Amish people and enjoyed the full tour and buggy ride.
A must do experience if you visit the area. You can learn a lot about the Amish, how they live, their customs, see the farm animals, ride a buggy, see a school house replica.
Incredible experience being able to learn about the Amish and how they live. A very in-depth tour of two houses, the barn, school house, and a buggy ride! There is a gift shop where you can purchase very affordable souvenirs and a bake shop with the tastiest and most fresh pastries you will ever try, I recommend the whoopie pies! You pay by the honor system and it’s handy to have one dollar bills on you as most pastries were a dollar or two. Don’t skip out on the barn where you can pet the cutest little animals and the man leading the tour was hilarious, he had all the jokes!
Very cool tour experience. Our guide was Tammy and she was very informative and super welcoming. We got the full package to tour the homes, school house, and took a buggy ride. I highly recommend this for adults, but especially kids. The ability to experience another culture first hand is something you don't always get.
Took a buggy ride. Loved it and our horse Duke. The driver was great talked alot if you want and informative about questions we asked. Highly recommend.
Can't beat a $5 buggy ride, even if it is only a few minutes long. Gift shop smelled weird. The lady selling tickets was short with us because we asked a question because we didn't know how everything worked, it was our first time there, but we didn't let it ruin our time there. The girl at the barn was very nice and told us a little about the animals and all their names and let us pet some new kittens. Barn floor where we walked was poopy, but the buggy ride was the best part.
This place is awesome. My granddaughter from Nevada wanted to see "real" amish people, so we took the yours of the houses and barn. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered any questions the group had. Be careful one of the houses is where they bake their bread and cookies, the smell will fill you with memories of grandma's house. The school house was another great tour. We rounded out our visit with a buggy ride. Very nice day trip. Would highly recommend.

This was, clearly, one of the highlights of our week in Holmes County. A very impressive gem, and to learn it was basically renovated and restored by volunteer teams is just remarkable. The grounds alone are stunning. You're given a brief description of the history of the house when you arrive, but it's a self-guided tour from that point. There were posted descriptions throughout the house, but volunteer staff (two were there the day we visited) are happy to answer additional questions. The interior is stunning and each room is staged to maximum effect. Very little of the furniture or props are original to the home, but that actually works to a benefit. For decades the home was neglected and only a couple rooms even used. It later became a sanitarium for the mentally ill. It wasn't necessarily "view worthy", as you'd imagine. The result is an accumulation of beautiful vintage items in each room that create a kind of regional museum beyond the house itself. They could also then use non-descript rooms to recreate fantasy spaces that reflected the times and local community, such as a doctor's office, mail room, sports/baseball dugout, military room, etc. On the third floor, you can watch a video with "before" and "after" footage and commentary on the home's restoration project. Really phenomenal! We did not see the separate glass museum, but one area of the house did have a couple of samples on display.
I won't post too many pictures because this is definitely something that is even more gorgeous in person! The beauty in the home's architecture is stunning, the history and the amazing objects throughout the entire building is magnificent. I've always had an extreme love for Victorian style homes but this was a true treat. I took my Mom and my 2 youngest teenage daughters with me and they enjoyed it as much as I did. So grateful that this home was rescued by the Holmes County Historical Society! I would definitely recommend checking this out!
The Victorian house museum was beautiful inside and out. So much well thought out detail throughout. The music room was more than amazing. Such cordial and informative staff to guide and greet. Each room greeted you with another amazing display of elegant decor of a time gone by. 🩷
A true delight for the eyes and envy for the soul. It is a stunning piece of history to walk through. I commend the efforts that were taken to preserve and restore all of the beautiful historic aspects. The stationed greeter was very nice and made sure we were informed as we toured. I would love to take a guided one next time! Highly recommended stop alongside the Millersburg Glass Museum!
Amazing home that was featured on HGTV in April 2001. Amazing tour and with the momey
Maybe took us about 1.5 hours to go through this? My elderly parents, husband, and I really enjoyed this Victorian style museum... volunteers restored this and are running it still... so friendly and a unique experience! We enjoy touring old homes, mansions, and this was a very different experience as it didn't seem as polished; more like a true "here's how it was" and experience it in a more intimate, less formal way. While the furniture isn't original, the house has been restored to be in glorious condition. The self guided tour and not too crowded-ness of it also catered towards our preference. ^_^ Thank you for this wonderful experience. So much well-deserved pride displayed in the condition and beauty of this wonderful time capsule.
Beautiful Victorian home, decorated for the holidays. Lots of Holmes County history. A few of the first floor rooms have hand painted ceilings.
Very nice, well kept house. Self guided tour but each room tells you some great information about everything you see. You can do that self guided tour at you own pace. We have been visiting this area for years and this was the first time we stopped here, very much worth the stop.

Sooooo many jewels, gems, lovely furniture, and everything in between!! We spent an hour and probably could have spent more!! Each floor had cool stuff to check out... gentlemen at the store front was friendly and hospitable! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Three floors of exploring. There is even a toy store connected inside. Friendly service, lots to look at and the attic is a fun space as well. Multiple vendors within the space. Some neat, some not so neat. Great finds depending on what you're looking for. Loved the old building!
Very large selection- three stories. Less things on the top floor. It is connected to the Toy Shop. The gentleman who works here is incredibly friendly and a pleasure to talk to.
Big antique mall All kind of stuff
Wonderful antique store multiple floors in Berlin. Went in Holmes County. Definitely visit her line. They’re so much shopping. It’s a multi day event.
When I visited the store the young girl with the bob haircut was rude and unfriendly, kept rolling her eyes at every question we had. As a customer from out of town visiting the area was disappointed with the attitude i was greeted with, made it uncomfortable.
Love this place great finds owner very helpful
Wow! This was one of the best antique stores that I have ever been to. They have basically 2 buildings, 3 stories high filled with blast from the past, unique items from many vendors from around the area. The building in itself was beautiful. I loved looking at the unique furniture pieces, vintage decor and media pieces as well. You can find relatively anything in the store, and I definitely would stop back for any next home pieces.

We stopped here as we were seeing the sites on Ohio. It is very beautiful architecture, and the area around the building is well kept. However, we were not able to go inside as we arrived on a Saturday. I would love to see the inside. Fortunately, we showed up and got to experience a small art festival with a car show. The father in law really likes old cars, so this was a big win. Hope to come back during the week to tour the inside.
Beautiful old courthouse--very well taken care of! Take 15 minutes to stop in and appreciate the beautiful foyer and maybe the courtroom. When we visited the main courtroom was not in use and was locked, but a staff person saw us looking around and offered to unlock it for us too see. Definately worth a few minutes.

The new owners are really trying hard to improve the place and it shows. Looking forward to the next time I can visit!
We went for opening night, and had a good time. The track was well maintained. They packed it in throughout the night. The program was ran with very little downtime. The facility is pretty good. They have a concession stand with lots of different food to choose from. Prices are on par with other tracks. The cheeseburger was good. Towards the end of the night they had all sandwiches and pizza half off. Definitely try the hilltop fries. They were awesome. They ran late models, mods, mod lite, front wheel drive, and a street stock kind of division. They will also have sprint cars and other classes throughout the season. The people at the track were really nice also. Now for the things that need work. The bathrooms need work. Water for the sinks didn't work. Update the bathroom was clean and water worked. The merchandise stand was very limited on what they had to offer and the sizes. The sound system is new and sounds good. They definitely got an upgrade there. I have went back several times and always enjoy myself.
Love coming to hilltop. Been coming for years. Why can’t they put some money back into the facility’s? Parking lot, hillside for camp chairs. The bring your own chair and beer is why we love it here. Surely they can do some fundraisers to raise money for these updates. 50/50 drawlings. Race fans would so put money in a bucket to help update the place. Bathrooms are what they are.
Well bathrooms were plugged up , was a dust bowl, bleachers need fixed nails sticking up. Same as the last time we went there. Will not be going back !!! Please don't put them on Speedweek again !!! 😢🤷‍♀️👋
This past Friday night was my first time ever being at Hilltop Race Track. Driving into the track could use some work it shouldn't beat you up just to park. The racing was amazing and I can't wait to go back.
Best track I've found since I started racing
It's always been a good time. Never had any issues finding a decent seat. Good clean fun for the whole family. Be sure to take ear and eye protection, it's loud and it gets dusty.
Been here a few times but on opening night 4/5/19 everything was amazing! The racing was spectacular and the food was so good I went back for more. They do such a wonderful job at this track!

Although some of the items are rather high-priced, there's something for almost everyone in the store. The best part of shopping here is that the owner will look out for anything that you want if you tell her what you're looking for. I am a railroad antique collector, and I found a rare lantern with a blue globe that I immediately bought to add to my collection.
Oooh my god this place was fabulous. Lots of different things in the store and prices r reasonable. Customer service was also the bomb very friendly and helpful.
What a great place great customer services if you looking for something new or old this is place unbelievable the things you can fine
Great place to find gas and oil related items as well as other things.
Had a great time and people were very nice! Great antique things to see and purchase!!
Museum quality pieces in this store. A great place to look around. Prices are high but the quality is equal with the prices.
Great selection of gas pumps and other nostalgic merchandise.
Very cool stuff and lots to check out $$$
