Great fun for adults and kids! Went for the wildflower train ride and stayed for the train museum tour--maybe 2 hours total. We had an excellent docent and learned so much! Will definitely be going back in October for the pumpkin patch train. They have a great covered picnic and play area that would be great for a birthday party! You can also choose the wine service. I would love to see them develop a full lunch service. They have snacks available. We are thinking about buying an annual membership-- currently (May 2025) being offered at 20 percent off, so about $100 annually for six riders to go (family or friends) but only available in person, not online.
Enjoyed a ride on an inter-urban electric train ride as people did about 100 years ago. Lots of old electric trolleys and equipment on display. Small, yet informative museum. Pretty garden and picnic area with crossing signal displays that can be push-button activated.
Privately owned, very inexpensive tickets, huge selection of old railway engines, passenger cars Old and newer trolly cars, Bart cars and others. Ride on a functional trolly car across the beautiful delta of N. CA. They're adding more track and events all the time. Knowledgeable guides, great gift shop.
So much fun. The train conductors, ticket personnel and everyone was very friendly. Educational, I loved the history shared.
Fun ride in vintage interurban railcars. Pumpkin Patch train is very popular, arrive early. Pumpkin chunkin is a blast! Thanks to all the volunteers for a great outing.
Cute museum and a fun activity with the kids/ for families. Had a petting zoo when we went and it was super sweet 🩷 They do have a mini cafe for snacks and the tickets come with a 50 min train ride 🚂
We went for the wildflower ride, however, there were none to see. Which is no big deal but it was a lackluster attraction. They stop a few times to talk about the area. The views were not great, old junk on the side of the tracks in some areas. It was a 5 mile ride and the cabin had visible spiders and webs. This is definitely better for younger kids, though there were a few on board who cried/screamed their lungs out while the adult paid them no mind. Our party of 4 was definitely expecting more than this attraction offered. One in the group fell asleep for about 20 minutes. I spent the time counting cows lol.
Wonderful place big fan absolutely loved Misses and I really enjoyed the 4 hour's, and can't wait to return. Go there take your time and really enjoy lots to see and the stay are very nice thank you for all of them , if possible Become a Member children and every Age will enjoy and hopefully Appreciate as much as we did

We have ordered Babs forever and always had it delivered to the house. This was the first time eating there in person. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes to get a table, but it was worth it. We sat at a 2 person table right by the back door looking out to the Delta, not the greatest seats, but we wanted whatever came up first, inside or outside. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and her service was great. I got chicken and waffles and waffle was a bit dry, but lots of syrup helped, although I would recommend sugar free syrup if they have it. The other order was the Chicken egg white omelette ( chicken, spinach, onions and cheese)was very delicious, but only dine in.
I stopped by this cozy spot on a whim, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The breakfast was hearty and flavorful, with generous portions that left me satisfied. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which offered a pleasant view and a relaxed atmosphere. However, the wait time was a bit longer than expected, and the coffee could have been hotter. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive, and I would definitely return for another meal
Delicious patty melt, waffle fries, and unlimited coffee refills on a charming patio by the marina! I really couldn't ask for anything better on a summer Saturday. Service was great too. We'll be back!
Bab’s is perfect 👌🏾 for breakfast 🍳, it’s right by the water 💧 & a perfect location to bring family. If you want good food 🥘 with excellent customer service give them a try, you will be happy 😊 you gave them a try. First time customer but it will not be the last.
I've been going to bad for years and it's always great cooked well prepared I've never complained about the food it's great. Today me and my friend who Has only gone to Babs once. We went to eat breakfast after our dialysis session. We were waiting on Lilly Her attitude and her attention to us was amazing we were feeling too good but just her energy enjoy brought us way up and We enjoyed her company her service the food and good conversation it's definitely a place you should go. And hopefully you'll get Lilly. She will definitely brighten your day. 5 stars
I’m a first time customer and I made the trip to Babs because it was highly recommended. Let me tell you this place is amazing . I feel like I just arrived to breakfast heaven and my server Lily is a sweet angel. The Loco Moco was so delicious and biscuit and gravy the best.
Absolutely a wonderful visit, each time we go to eat we are greeted right away and have friendly service throughout the entire meal. I am going to try each item on the menu as there are many! Bill's Omlet and the Spanish Omlet are delicious. The biscuits and gravy are amazing, the rice had me thinking about coming back all week to get more rice! Beautiful location right on the water, can't wait for summer weather to sit and eat outside, during winter there are outdoor heaters in the covered patio.
I harp frequently about "service" Bab's has this down to an art. Kristy was the server, I have no idea how many times she refilled my cup, but it never was lower than an inch. The food was served very fast. So I ordered the French Toast Combo, and this was something new for me, their French Toast is made with sourdough bread. I found it rather unique, and liked it. It doesn't have an over the top flavor, its there and subtle but good. I liked it. The eggs were cooked perfect. The bacon had good flavor but was a little thin. The coffees flavor seemed light, not even medium but after drinking my never draining cup I got use to the light flavor. Overall a good experience. Parking is easy if you arrive early; there is a lot right in front of the building with about 40 slots. Street parking is all over the area as well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Out door has a nice view of the Marina. Indoor has a bar for eating seats about 8 folks. Large groups should make reservations.

I love the dedication and love they put into helping these animals. It's an excellent place for these animals to heal and for people to learn about local wildlife.
This is a nice place to visit on a hot day. The sound of the water and the boats is pleasant. Be sure to take a walk through the wildlife preserve, lots of opportunities to take pictures. The bathroom is open until 4pm so plan accordingly. There are 3 or 4 picnic tables to rest on or enjoy a snack or lunch.
Love! Love! Love! The people and their mission here for all wildlife. They need so much support to keep up what they do. Please consider donating. My kids even had their birthday party there one year and they went out of their way to make it so special for our kids and the guests! Absolute best organization ever!
Great place to see local wildlife around here. Perfect for kids. Small but tidy and staff is excellent for any questions. You can also bring injured birds and animals there. If you go to Babs for brunch take a trip there. Donations are always welcomed or you can even sponsor an animal. When I was there they had 30 baby possums to take care of. I sponsored one myself 😊
I wish I could give this place zero stars. Terrible experience with them today. Found two abandoned barn owl chicks on a busy sidewalk with no cover or signs of a shelter nearby. They were obviously unable to fly. Since there was no clear nest around I tried to take them here. I was told to put them back on the sidewalk and leave them because it was "perfectly normal and their parents will take care of them" and that I was "on my own" helping them. I'm no expert but I know white fluffy owl chicks on the ground is not normal so I called Lindsay Wildlife for a second opinion. Upon seeing the pictures of the owls Lindsay said they were clearly too young to be or of the nest and to bring them in immediately. Suisun refused to even look at the photo of the owl chicks to verify that they were an appropriate age to be left of the ground. For anyone considering bringing an injured or orphaned animal here, go to Lindsay first.
This wild life center is small but has amazing animals, to learn & view. Very clean & maintained property. The employees & volunteers are respectful, helpful, full of information & they all have great customer service. I loved seeing all the animals & hope that this center grows larger, in the future. My friends & myself will be returning. Thank you for all the people who help, with center... I thank, all of the people - involved within, the processes, that help the wildlife at the Suisun center. All people involved, are appreciated, in ur community & in my eyes! Thank you again for what u all do!
Just one of my favorite places
Hidden gem in Suisun City! Housed on the edge of a huge estuary, this rescue group serves with a big heart. Has resident animals and birds, as well as creatures being nurtured until they can be released back to nature. Owls, hawks, coyote and more. Clean and functional, volunteers take great pride in the facility and work. Was able to get a "behind the scenes" tour during open house. Informative signage on displays and cages. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Gift shop full of interesting books, jewelry, decor items helps provide funds for this important work. Slow and quiet environment is friendly to families, elders, and disabled.

Beautiful scenery and great exercise! James was a very accommodating host and provided us with a map, directions, and was very knowledgeable about the area. We did the 4 hour self guided kayak trip and enjoyed it very much.
Had a wonderful time this morning. James instructed both me and a friend. My friend and I are at different levels in our kayaking experiences and James provided instructions for both a beginner and provided new techniques to an intermediate kayaker. James is very knowledgeable and I would recommend anyone who wants to learn how to kayak, or just brush-up on techniques to make an appointment with James.
I went around an area that looks like a big heart on the map. I DUB THEE "Route to Love". Its always dirty water, but also didn't see anyone else for about 2 hours. There are several hidden inlets. It's a fun one to explore. Will be back!
We had a wonderful time at Grizzly Waters Kayaking. The staff was very friendly and Knowledgeable. He gave us everything we needed to know in regards to kayaking in the marsh. He was also kind enough to give us recommendations for local hikes.
I’ve been out with James a handful of times, and it’s been great each time. He’s knowledgeable of the area, a good teacher, and the equipment and location are up to par. It’s worth checking out the area, and Grizzly Waters is the place to go for good rentals and tours.
Love this place to enjoy the beautiful nature, kayaking, hiking, cycling, and fishing.
Excellent kayaking location and service. The owner explained the area and gave us a map. We didn't call or reserve ahead, so we needed to wait about 20 minutes. We spent the time checking out Suisun Bay's quaint downtown. The kayaking area is very dynamic, with tides, channels, and wind, which made it very fun to navigate and explore.
Great and easy rental, call a day or two ahead just to make sure they aren't booked. Discounts for groups of 6+, but v chill. Give you and map and advice if you like. Better rates the longer you rent plus they have a stamp card. Definitely coming back :]
