This Museum is amazing! I didn't want to post too many photos because spoilers are not always welcome! If you like aircrafts or space exploration, you could probably spend half your day here! On the second floor there are flight simulators for a variety of aircraft. There are kids activities all over the place on the main floor. Their collection of aircrafts is impressive! It's definitely worth a visit!
Kids had a blast! (8, 11, 13). Unfortunately, a field trip got in right before us...(See below) Interactive activities inside: - Flight simulator - Legos - many other tables to flex creativity (I even got involved) Downside: BEWARE OF FIELD TRIPS!!!! - Viewing planes: 20-40min to view all - Can you go in planes? NO! I believe only on certain days. But I could be wrong. - Helicopter: You could go in. But at least 80kids lined up, not today... - Flight simulator: 30min experience. Instructor has to be present with you (only 2 instructors out of the 10 simulators. Given a field trip got in before us, 30min for each kid lined up, was NOT realistic.
Want a joy ride on a jet? Or explore the cosmos? Or checkout rocket boosters? Well look no further and join me for an adventure. Let’s begin! The Aerospace Museum of California is a private non-profit aviation museum located on the grounds of the former McClellan Air Force Base. This museum features a 40,000 square foot exhibit hall, over 40 historic aircraft and rockets and flight simulators. Today, I arrived on a warm weekend morning to explore this museum. I am fond of museums especially aviation. This museum is good place to expose and teach kids about STEM programs. Moreover, this museum has great collection of aeronautical artifacts and ww2 history. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Admission prices were reasonable. Gift shop was modest. Parking lot has ample of space. Overall, it’s a good museum. I recommend you visit.
Went here while visiting my father on vacation. It was exciting to see my dad see 4 different aircraft he worked on while in Thailand, Vietnam and later at McClellan AFB. So much too see
We spent a great time on this amazing museum! It was very interesting and fun. It’s a great idea with “find a bear” challenge/game. Also, thanks for the worker in the wheelchair for telling us interesting facts and stories about some planes.
Fan-freaking-tastic. I've always wanted to fly most of these planes in real life, but the most I got was being able to fly them in my homebrew PC set-up with VR and a yoke. Seeing them in person though, along with the fantastic and amazing staff, made it everything I've wanted. Am I a bit autistic? Probably! Extremely thrilled about seeing an A-10 in person and an SR71 air spike? Absofreakinglutely. The ticket price isn't bad at all, and if I didn't have only an hour left in the day I would've tried the Sims if they were open. I'll be back for sure :)
Had an amazing experience. It make take some 20 min but 2 hours for others. The staff was amazing and the guy who gave us an aircraft tour was super friendly and made our time there even better! Place seems to be very kid friendly as well.
Had a blast looking at all the cool airplanes here . They got a Blue Angel plane from the 80s here ! Im a Blue Angels fan so that made my day . Lots of cool looking planes outside too. I had fun looking at all of them !

Really like this range!!! The staff are great!!! I am terrible at names, but would mention the people that have helped me. So far I have been there three times and have improved my aim and have been able to rent some amazing guns. They have a wide variety of weapons to rent or buy. Will be back!!
Normally I shoot with my eyes. But this time — with my hands. Walked into The Gun Range an ordinary guy. Walked out feeling like a retired colonel with stories to tell. This place isn't just a shooting range — it's like a gym, but for your confidence. Heart pounding, hands steady, target shaking… and your smile? Pure .45 caliber happiness. The instructors? Serious pros with a great sense of humor. One told me, “Don’t worry, no rookie ever left here with a wounded ego.” Took a ton of photos — felt like I was in Call of Duty, but with real sweat and real satisfaction. I’ll definitely be back. Because here, you don’t just shoot — you reload your soul.
Cannot recommend this Shop and Range enough. They likely have exactly what you want to rent available, and the staff is super friendly, and extremely professional. I had mistakenly raised concern about my bag being removed from my assign lane when I returned to rent a different firearm. It turned out I had returned to the wrong spot - OOPS! My first time at this range, the sections all look the same, and I should have checked the lane number to be sure. Staff was understanding and didn't treat me poorly even after confirming it was all my mistake. It's an hour drive to get here, but is now my preferred range.
Took my co-workers here for some team building. Good facility that is not overly strict on the range supervision. Ended up doing a shotgun purchase here later as well. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is not political. Much appreciated all I'll be back to pick up my purchase later! PS..... Don't forget to pick up your ID before leaving
Range is solid and staff at the rental counter were friendly, which I appreciated. Only downside: they charged me and my brother full price each, even though we shared one lane. Other places like Sacramento Gun Range only charge $10–$15(25yard-50Yard) for a guest. Would be better if they did the same.
That is a great place to buy a firearm. Also there is a wonderful gun range.
Cheap to shoot. Everyone is friendly and helpful even though they're always busy. I'd like to recognize Russ as very helpful and even understanding when I called back to ask if anyone found my optics plate that apparently fell off while shooting(not enough loctite I guess 😅). Went in the range looking for it even. Thanks The Gun Range!
Thanks to Joe for helping with my recent hand gun purchase. He was very knowledgeable and spent time answering my questions while selecting a new CCW firearm. Pretty solid selection and good prices.
