The beach where the water is very clear and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visiting here at the same time as visiting grandfather in the Jampang kulon area. Highly recommended to visit on holidays.
The beach is seriously gorgeous and super quiet with stunning white sand all around. Please keep it clean and well protected, it’s a real gem!
My favorite beach at West Java, located at the southern part of Sukabumi, after Jampang. 4-5 hours of drive from Sukabumi. It has beautiful white sands beach, and a rather quite surroundings. One of the distinctive traits of this beach is, there's small current over the beach line so you feel like you're being push by the sea. You don't need lots of money to come here. The Hotel are cheap, the local cottage are even cheaper, the food is just okay around here, but they're cheap too. Another activity you can do is to visit the turtle breeding site
Ujung Genteng beach is a beautiful beach. The scenery is very good. White sand, boat, clean sea make the tourist so happy visiting this beach.
This beach has beautiful colors but this place’s so hot at noon. Before 3 pm we can walk to the middle of the beach because the water is in low tide. But after 3 pm the sea began to rise.
This is very good place I've ever been. It is the clean, shinny, and nice beach. I recommend this place for your holiday. It has white sands, shells, and much kinda seafood.
White sand, clean beach, good place for sunset. Also this place used to turtle conservation. Correct Me If I'm Wrong, Thank you
Great short escape, Aug 2017 on first visit. Next visit was on March 2018 and found so many rubbish on the seaside of the beach.. so sad, lack of facilities.

Cikaso Waterfall is absolutely stunning! I visited in December, just before the natural disaster that affected Sukabumi, and the scenery was breathtaking. We took a boat to reach the waterfall, which added to the adventure. The natural beauty and serene atmosphere made it a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
the biggest curug i ever been. its high enough, but we cannot swim there
Another beautiful and easy access waterfal in Sukabumi area. Short boat ride to instagrammable spot, before 2 minutes walk to the waterfall. We came during the dry season, so there is no water on the middle waterfall. But the water is very fresh and a bit cold to swim. They have warung or stalls selling fresh coconut and grilled corn and hot drinks or instant noodles to enjoy after swimming. Will be back!!
I went here during the rain season. There is no ticket price, but you have to rent a boat to get to the waterfall. Costs 70k, you can also share this price with other people, but they need to agree first and you have to essentially go back in the boat with those people who agreed. The people who guided the boat is kind, and you can see the transition between a brown water river to a pure, almost clean water when you get close to the Cikaso Waterfall. Once you're there, if you get closer to the waterfall, and stand on the rocks, the water from the waterfall will soak you bit by bit. And also the rocks are very slippery due to the water coming from the waterfall, so please be careful if you are near the waterfall. 9/10 i almost got heavily soaked. Would love to come back.
Curug Cikaso, located in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia, offers a stunning natural beauty with its high-density waterfall. Visitors are captivated by the powerful flow of water cascading down the rocks, creating a mesmerizing sight. One thing to note about Curug Cikaso is the depth of the water, which makes swimming prohibited for safety reasons. Despite the temptation to take a refreshing dip, the strong currents and deep waters require visitors to admire the waterfall's beauty from a safe distance. We paid Rp 12k per person and Rp 15k per car and also Rp 70k for the boat, we can also add Rp 30k to have another round tour along the river to see hutan lindung. Overall, Curug Cikaso is a must-visit destination for nature lovers seeking a breathtaking waterfall experience while also respecting the safety guidelines in place.
The waterfall is so nice. The air, breeze and scenery is so nice. Price is reasonable per person around Rp.65000. You can get maximum experience at the morning when the sky is clear and not to hot. There is a food stall near the waterfall also. Mushalla and toilet is also available.
Hidden waterfalls yet its so popular. You can reach here by boat or walking. If you came here at raining season i think i recommend to get boats. Because its so slippery and you support local jobs.
The waterfall is beautifull. I found a rainbow there in the morning. Unfortunately the rocks around the waterfall so slippery. You should give extra care for your environment. You can take a boat to this waterfall. You can bring your family too because the track is friendly for newbie. Dont forget to bring umbrella for protection from rain or sun light. Bring your hat too for your photos property.

A heaven you need to visit at least once in a lifetime. Gorgeous. A bit far from Jakarta with good road conditions but once arrived, you won't regret it.
Nice place to visit. Lots of POI to look at and enjoy. Most of transactions must use cash, electronic transaction is uncommon. When we were here, it is weekday, so it is quite empty and quiet.
Ciletuh Beach is the perfect place to pitch a tent and spend the night enjoying the beach atmosphere. But it would be very unlucky if you get very unfriendly weather. I was very disappointed at that time, because I got very bad weather during the trip until I came back.
The view is amazing. In sunset it will be more amazing than sun rise, because the sea is towards the place of the sun set.
Great area with a bunch of tourist places, the road is in good condition everywhere tho a little bit hardcore, and most of food place serve good food with cheap price, the beach not so great but the view from the hill is amazing, there's alfamart nearby so you don't need to worry about forget to bring something.
I love this part of Jawa💕😍 Around is a lot of great waterfalls like Cimarinjung, Awang, Cicaso, Sodong (3 waterfalls on one place) When you want to see Geopark and island 🏝️ you should take small boat ⛵. Price was around 350k rupiah. It's nice 🙂 Snorkeling included 😁 If you want to know more about Indonesia follow my Instagram or TikTok @trip.jakarta
The area is amazing, you'll get complete attraction from geo science, beach, sea, snorkeling, water fall, trekking, and community. Since there is no ATM oleae bring cash before came, suggested in Pelabuhan Ratu or Sukabumi. The road is quite tricky, no clear signe board, otherwise you'll get a long road, pls get the road from pelabuhan ratu. Or you can come from Bandung Via ciwidey rancabali and Sindangbarang. Recommended
Great view of beach, hills anr padi field along the way. Some beatiful water falls value for visit. Those who would like to experince snorkling will also be satisfied. People are nice and warm. Recommended place for short break.

Ma Sya Allah! It is nice to see the creation of Allah SWT. The waterfall is very beautiful. The air is so fresh. It's no mistake we came here on a weekday. It wasn't crowded and there weren't many people so we could enjoy this beautiful view to our heart's content. Alhamdulillah. Hopefully visitors will always maintain cleanliness here, especially in nature. Because if it is always clean and there is no rubbish, then nature will always be beautiful. Salam lestari ☘️☘️☘️
It was a beautiful trekking. Fron the suspension bridge to the waterfall, keranjang sultan and finally the red bridge. The waterfall itself clean and refreshing. Swimming are not allowed but you can splish splash on the stream below. The water is so clear and clean. It’s a refreshing view when the weather is good. Tip: Come early at 8:00am when the weather is sunny. Be the first and the place is yours to capture and enjoy.
The first and the easiest waterfall to reach in Situ Gunung area. Feel the breeze from the water.. It's so calming...
Waterfalls and rivers with soothing views. The clear water and rocks make it easy for visitors to soak or play in the river. There is a view of ancient rocks which adds to the uniqueness. There is bridge in front of the waterfalls, visitor can take photo close to it
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Curug Sawer in the Gunung Gede-Pangrango National Park near Sukabumi, and I must say it was a truly mesmerizing experience. This hidden gem of a waterfall exceeded all my expectations, and I can confidently give it a well-deserved 5-star rating. Curug Sawer boasts a serene natural setting that instantly captivates your senses. As you approach the waterfall, you are greeted by the soothing sound of rushing water, creating a tranquil ambiance that transports you to a world of serenity and beauty. The lush greenery surrounding the area adds to the enchanting atmosphere, making it a perfect escape from the bustling city life. One aspect that impressed me greatly was the excellent facilities provided at Curug Sawer. The pathway leading to the waterfall is well-maintained, with a sturdy and well-defined trail that is suitable for people of all ages. Whether you're visiting with children or elderly family members, rest assured that they will be able to navigate the path comfortably. This accessibility ensures that everyone can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Curug Sawer without any limitations. The facilities available at the waterfall are also commendable. There are clean restroom facilities and designated areas for picnics, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal amidst nature's splendor. The presence of well-maintained seating areas and shaded spots adds to the overall convenience and comfort of the visitors. Additionally, the safety measures in place at Curug Sawer deserve recognition. The authorities have taken great care to ensure that visitors can enjoy their time at the waterfall without compromising their well-being. The clear signposts, safety railings, and trained staff members make for a secure environment, further enhancing the overall experience. Curug Sawer is a place that truly caters to the needs of its visitors. Its well-kept pathways, accessible trails, and excellent facilities make it an ideal destination for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. The beauty and tranquility of this waterfall are truly awe-inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on all who visit. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Curug Sawer in the Gunung Gede-Pangrango National Park as a must-visit destination. Its stunning natural beauty, coupled with the well-maintained facilities and accessible pathways, make it a 5-star attraction. Prepare to be enchanted by the sights and sounds of this remarkable waterfall.
A number of waterfalls in West Java have the name "Curug Sawer". And, this one is located in the Situgunung forest area of the Gede Pangrango National Park. This place is located about 500 meters from the Situgunung suspension bridge. The path to the location of the waterfall is well made by the manager to make it easier for visitors to walk, including the elderly who visit here. The water stream that flows from the waterfall, with high approximately 35 meters, is so rapid that it spurts everywhere when it hits the 10-meter-deep natural pool below. But, the resulting breeze gives freshness. Due to the rapid water stream, visitors can only view the beauty of the waterfall and the natural surroundings from the viewing platform, without being able to swim or play in the water. At certain time maybe you can do rafting. One note is cleanliness issues that need to be maintain by visitors and the management.
The place was great, the water is refreshing, the surroundings are still very natural. The path to the waterfall is well maintained. There are several food sellers along the way and near the waterfall. There are also small food stalls near the park entrance.
Came to here since 1998, this natural tourist attraction offers the charm of the beauty of a waterfall which is still quite natural with such a beautiful atmosphere in Sukabumi. Curug Sawer can be an option for a weekend getaway with friends or close relatives. This attraction can also be for children, but those who are old enough or 5 years and over. If you want to play in the water, you should still be careful because in the waterfall pool there are quite deep parts. Visitors can also play on the rocks that become the flow of the waterfall, but must be careful not to slip.

It is not just one of the best, but the best beach I have ever visited. It surpasses even Bali, with its volcanic sand and incredibly large ocean waves.
It was really beautiful but unfortunately there were still trash on the beach. The journey to Karang Hawu from Jakarta is far and the roads are small with lots of sharp turns round the mountain but it wasn't too bad, other than the angkot and truck drivers who were pretty reckless. We weren't able to swim though because they had the red flag displayed which meant the currents were not safe enough to swim in.
Location: Sukabumi, west java Weather: hot There are many foodstalls and the prices are not crazy overpiced. The rocks are cool and the waves are sometimes real high that it is not recommend to swim here. Overall, great beach to clear your mind
I like this place. On one place you can see rock with coral and beside beach. I love small pool inside the coral 🤩 If you want to know more about Indonesia follow my Instagram: @trip.jakarta
The beach is not crowded but it is quite far for me. It said that swimming is prohibited there because of some accidents before. It is beautiful and good choice for spacing out while looking at the waves and the sky.
The Beach is nice with so many big Coral Reefs, Blue Water, Blue Sky but it's also can be Dangerous since it's the wave is so big here, but you can still swim and play around. There's a lot of Street Vendors, Supermarkets, the Facilities you need such as Bathroom, Toilets, Prayer Room, Hut for Rent. Unfortunately, since it's crowded by the Visitors. There's a lot of Trashes you can see in every side of the beach, it can be comes from the visitors who dumbs it carelessly. The more worse the river that flows into the Coast is full of trashes and it breaks my heart. Please, if you want to visit the place no matter where it is, keep it clean or you can't enjoy it anymore. that's my experience and my impression since i visit this place.
The view here is pretty good. Satisfied enough to enjoy the sunrise and photos 😃 Unfortunately a lot of trash scattered here 😐
Its at Palabuhan Ratu, one of the famous beach in west Java, Indonesia. The local story said these place has 7 shower places for the angels..it will bring fortune if you take shower there.

The Purba Valley Suspension Bridge in Situ Gunung, Sukabumi, West Java, is the longest suspension bridge in Southeast Asia: Length: 535 meters, Width: 1.8 meters, Height: More than 100 meters above ground level
The price for camping is relatively expensive, access from the main entrance gate to the camp ground is also quite far if you go by walking (ojek are available but quite pricey). If you don't bring a private vehicle (i.e. going by train), it might also be difficult to go back to the station as it is quite far and uphill It's recommended to get to the main gate before 5 pm because there are still angkot available. But the camping ground itself is pretty nice, the view is amazing, and the atmosphere at night is also quiet. We went there while it's still raining season so the ground was pretty wet and muddy, but when it rained the vibe felt really peaceful. There's a clean and spacious musholla, the toilet is also quite well maintained. Overall, it's quite worth visiting but there are still many things that can be improved
An amazing experience! I wish we could have stayed longer. The glamping was great, the fire at night was quite enjoyable, amd the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Situ Gunung offers a range of facilities to enhance visitors' comfort and experience. These include parking areas, restrooms, prayer rooms, glamping options, dining establishments, 24-hour reservation services, popular selfie spots, and other attractions. Activities: - Rafting Trip: One of the unique attractions at Situ Gunung is the rafting trip, allowing visitors to explore the picturesque Situ Gunung lake. - Camping: Visitors have the option to camp in designated areas or choose glamping facilities provided by the management, with fire pit facilities available. - Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge: The Suspension Bridge, also known as Jembatan Gantung Situ Gunung, was built in 2017 and officially opened to the public in 2019. It has become a favorite spot for visitors to take selfies.
Love the sight seeing. Hanging bridge journey is very challenging for person with height phobia, but well paid at the end road when seeing beautiful waterfall.
Situ Gunung Park is a place I absolutely adore. Located conveniently near Jakarta, it offers breathtaking views that make it perfect for a weekend getaway. The park provides easily accessible hiking trails, catering to both seasoned hikers and beginners. However, during long weekends, the park tends to get crowded due to its popularity. Nevertheless, the highlight of the park is undoubtedly the magnificent suspension bridge, an experience that shouldn't be missed. Its awe-inspiring presence adds an extra thrill to the visit, making Situ Gunung Park a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
Recreation park in Sukabumi, there is iconic suspension bridge - the long bridge in Southeast Asia. If you go there with a toddler or elder people you can choose green track "Jalur Hijau " The price is worth it... Due to you get the shuttle, snack, including suspension bridge, waterfall sawer, jembatan Merah, keranjang Sultan.
Good place to go. Beautiful scenery with fresh air. Better to go in the morning and go home at noon. Bringing carpet will be great to enjoy time beside the lake. Make sure you are strong enough to walk up and down

A reliable operator. They will consider safety and aspects of your group to make sure best experience result. Team work were very good, we try both shower climbing and vertical caving. Highly recommended for special interest ecotourism.
I've always wanted to explore the depths of the Earth. The first cave I wanted to explore was Luweng Ombo in Pacitan, but only experts are allowed to descend there. Then, I came across an open trip from Bandung that offered a chance to visit a cave in Sukabumi—apparently, the best cave track in all of Asia. My group and I were lucky to explore the cave, witnessing its diverse biota and the stunning beauty of its stalactites and stalagmites.
A really funplace to go if you like outdoor activity. There are 14 waterfalls to climb. BAT the operator is also very professional. They prepare very good equipments and safety is very well managed.
Bumiayu Cave is located in Sukabumi, West Java. It has 3 different kinds of cave - public, semi concentration (2 hours walking underground), full concentration (5 hours walking underground with also walking in river underground). Now managed by PERHUTANI, quite expensive than before that I read on google. Very adventure. So memorable exploration.
Its super recommended, beautiful cave, theres waterfall insude, mud area, river, and the guides are humble. Price for vertical cave + bibijilan waterfall (1day trip) min. 5 person: 435.000 (welcoming drink+helmet, headlamp, boot, wearpacks, gloves+lunch+transport to bibijilan).
The eternal darkness . . The adventure begins by using a rope down the cave 18 meters deep, is a sensation that will not be found in any other adventure . . We will see an underground river, lakes, and waterfalls in the cave, as well as to see the cave with water to form fossil halls and millions ornaments. Really recommended for you who are adventure seeker! . . For more info kindly check my ig account : @angelinaadwi
Amazing place for caving. The location of the cave is in the countryside. There are several lodging services and tour guides, including rental caving clothes.

Went here for a short voluntary event. Great place to learn about wildlife conservation, involve in taking care of rehabilitated animals, and also get to know about organic farming. Dorms, toilets, and bathrooms are in good maintenance. Last but not least, good food!
A great place to learn about wildlife, not many people are realize that the role of humans contributes the greatest effect on environment. The activities was so fun.
I had a wonderful time visiting my friend here. I helped on the farm, I felt very welcome by the staff. The facilities were very nice and located in a rural area. The people here are passionate about their work and I am very thankful for them letting me help.
Good place to have new experience on wildlife as well as lokals
Highly recommend supporting this organization. They are doing such great things for the Indonesian ecosystem by caring for its animals. I took my students here on a school trip. We gained so much experience and learned a lot through it.
They got lot of animal that rehabilitated well
Great people doing great things. If you have the opportunity, get there to volunteer. Wonderful experience.
A place for fauna rescue effort. We can visit and contribute to Cikananga and they run an international internship program.

Went there on weekdays, and I can enjoy the bridge without much disturbance. Went down for short tracking and experienced the Keranjang Sultan. The water fall (Curug Sawer) is small. But you can take a rest and have some fried food or order popmie. Then you can continue and try the infamous Keranjang Sultan. At the end of Keranjang Sultan, you can choose to continue tracking uphill or ride ojeg 🤪 The tracking in basic, simple and not tiring. You can enjoy the quietness of the jungle, enjoy the fresh air and also the fast green, beautiful landscapes. Really want to go back there and stay longer to see the lake and the other tracking.
A refreshing escape into nature! 3km walk through the lush green forest is peaceful and scenic, with plenty of photo spots along the way. The highlight is definitely the suspension bridge — thrilling and beautifully placed amidst the greenery. Kerangen Sultan Basket Ride was also good, offering a unique view of the forest canopy. Well-maintained trail and a calm atmosphere make it perfect for nature lovers and families. Situ Gunung Lake, Sawer waterfall, suspension bridge & sultan basket ride all attractions in one scenic spot!
Nice place to camp at near lake. But the lake little dirty and the people little greedy i think. Maybeee. But they welcoming you very well. If you using car and want to camp near lake, you can park at there. They close the road to get there. So you must show the camp ticket to them so they can open the gate for you. If you dont camp at there, you must park your car at the gate and either walk 500m down hill or using ojek. They don't bother to told you that you can park in there. They want to you to park near gate(5k parking ticket) and over ojek services. Until you at parking area at near lake and told you can park your car at here. They told you the distance is more than 1km. But i have measure it approx 500m. But overall is nice place if you know the rules. At here is not so cold or to hot. Its so perfect condition for me tho
Good experience.. You can choose the route you like, with different rate, from 50k to 300k, based on the length of the trip and facilities. You can see beautiful views of Mount Gede and Pangrango, while you pass the suspension bridges. I suggest you to wear comfortable shoes, 'coz the track really challenging.. Not suitable for them who afraid of heights. However, you can still visit Situ Gunung Lake and enjoying the view. You can find restos with affordable price and beautiful view as a bonus. Spacious parking, clean toilets, they also have mushola (prayers room), street food (Jajanan), and souvenir shops. You can also stay at glamping (glamour camping), it's about 500k-900k/night full package, and feel different sensation of your night in the jungle. Prepare you stamina, and enjoy your challenging exploration! Must visit place in Sukabumi 👍👍👍
Outdoor recreation Place. Good for all ages and extra walking to reach the suspension bridge and water fall place. Cool weather sometimes need jacket if necessary Advantage to walking on the suspension bridge. Located above the river.
As a tourist site, the premise is considered well-managed. It is good knowing that the fee that we pay for the entrance fee and so, being utilized to maintain the site. The track itself is not that difficult to reach the waterfall site at the end. But for the weak heart due to height, be ready when you need to walk on the bridge, because it is the only access to reach to waterfall. Waterfall itself is easily to access with the track already being constructed with more walkable paths. I saw a family that bring their kids here, as long the kid is able to walk it is still fine to bring the whole family members here. The safety measure when passing the bridge also well managed by the staff, so no worry about the bridge will be overloaded or so.
the bridge is shorter, yet higher and seem to be more “nature” than the new one in Bandung because it’s located right in the middle of a dense forest-like place, and literally there are monkeys we spotted hanging around the trees as we walked across the bridge and we spotted them again at the curug sawer too. we bought the green ticket (100k) to get some facilities such as being taken from the ticket counter to the next place and being picked up from the last place to the exit with OJEK or shuttle car (and this saves times and energy!) the green ticket also allowed us to experience the highlight of this trip which was the “Keranjang Sultan” where we crossed the 100m river on some hanging baskets. we also got some welcome drinks and foods; hot tea, black coffee, meatballs and bean soup that also are the facilities of the green ticket! but i hope they add more proper and clear signs and guide lines or simply some ropes for us because there were many times we were confused which way to go because it’s literally in the middle of a forest😅
The parking lot is so crowded. Because we went there during weekend. But still we feel lucky, we reached there almost 3pm so one day traveled visitors were gradually leaving. We paid ticket twice, first the main gate for the Situ Gunung National Park about IDR 18,5k (locals), foreigners have different rates. The second is for the suspension bridge, IDR 50k (adults, local) and IDR 25k (child, local). It is included welcome drinks and snacks. Drinks are coffee and tea, snacks are steamed banana and cassavas. It served in a large platter, and along they put banana leafs in small size. When I was there, I thought people have no idea what it is for. Its better if the banana leaf is pinned at one side to shape a bowl so people understand what it's for. The suspension bridge is a great experience. The views are great, but we cannot stay there for long time. People takes turn to take picture, and number of people aboard is closely counted. I returned to the suspension bridge when the fog is came so it was a stunning experience there. Cool moist air slaps our face while we are walking. And lights from Cafe at the other side is completed the nuances of "cloud fantasy land".

It’s really a must visit place if you’re crafting for nature, trekking, camping, glamping, and other things related to play with and in the heart of the forest. So amazing you can hear bird singing like mocking jay here while trekking up to mountain or waterfall. Really enjoying this place and the located is not so far from jakarta, it takes only about 2 hours with no massive traffic for sure.
Breathtaking views, serene trails, and fresh mountain air make this park a must-visit. Wildlife sightings and well-marked paths enhance the experience. Perfect spot for hiking and relaxing in nature
I’ve stayed in Wildan’s Guest House for one week. My double bedroom is on the second floor with a bathroom and Mountain View. There are two sitting area on 2nd floor with comfortable sofas. I use the one next to the balcony for my morning and evening tea time. In my first morning, when I woke up at 6am, I saw the beautiful sky from my room. I jumped out of bed and walked to the balcony to appreciate the sunrise. That’s the only sunrise I’ve seen since the following mornings are all cloudy. There were thunderstorms almost every afternoon. I love to watch the pouring rain from balcony too. The room rate includes the breakfast which was cook by Wildan”s wife. For my Asian’s appetite it’s quite good. Wildan provides me information about the public transport system. That’s very convenient and low cost. I can meet locals in the minibus and enjoyed the ride always. The buses are in different colors to indicate their destinations. I visited the “Cibodas Botanical Garden””Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park””Cianjur City” by these local buses. For “Grab” it’s more expensive and rare to find one. I also walked around to the villages nearby. Local people are very friendly to foreigners. I was invited to a family and had photos taken. Every day I always find something to do and never get bored. I visited in the first week of July. The temperature is fantastic at H26°-L19°C/ 79°-65°F . Absolutely gorgeous weather for the summer escape location. I am so grateful for the warm hospitality of this family. Their kindness and hospitality made my solo travel much more memorable. I highly recommend this guest house to travelers who want to stay in this area. BTW, I am too old to hike the Mount Gede so I didn’t do it. PS: In Indonesia you need to adapt with the “loud noise “ of 1-the early morning speaker prayer calling. 2- the motorbikes are very loud, they are everywhere at anytime of the day.
One of the most popular mountain sites on the island of Java. Mount Gede - Pangrango is the mountain with the most visitors every month/year. But it's a shame that the increasing popularity of this mountain is not proportional linear to the facilities and cleanliness both at the foot of the mountain and along the way to the peak or summit. in each post 1-5 there aren't provided decent toilets, and at the Suryakencana camping area there are tons of garbage that people leave behind. The officers at the entrance gate were also not careful in checking identity, when I went up with 3 friends, all of our full names were incorrect/didn't match with what stated on our Identity Cards (KTP), this indicated incompetence at work, human error and neglecting the importance of visitors identity. Also they're not strict to the rules to check the logistics each group of hiker brings to the mountain and then check up again the garbage when they're downhill, that's why they cannot control the garbage in the mountain. Gunung Gede has several gates, two of the most popular are via Cibodas (near Cibodas market) and via Gunung Putri. I personally prefer hiking via Gunung Putri because the scene and tropical rain forest ambience is very pretty and greener, but the track is quite advanced and steep (meaning your chest will meet your knees).
We camped in Tanakita and went on adventures.
Protected forest. Good for hiking and camping and trail runners who like steep climbs and knee-busting down hill run. More effort needed to educate visitors not to litter. Very cold during the night on the camp sites on top of the mountain. Bring thick gloves, socks and clothing if you plan to spend the night. Beautiful sunset and sunrise.
We do not have to argue the scenery of Mount Gede has. We only criticize the maintainability and hospitality from the staff.
Beautiful rain forest in West Java. Many activities can be done here. Tracking, adventure, camping, and going to see sunrise from the top of gunung gede or gunung pangrango. The jungle is evergreen. Curug (waterfall or air terjun) cibereum is a wonderful place. It have 2 waterfalls. Normally it takes 7-8 hours from cibodas to get the "roof" of gunung gede. on the trail to the top of the mountain, you will find some beautiful places: - Telaga Biru (30 minutes from cibodas) - Rawa gayonggong (45 minutes) - pos panyangcangan (60-90 minutes) - curug cibereum (90-120 minutes) - air panas (2-3 hours) - kandang Batu - kandang badak - alun-alun suryakencana

Amazing, this place giving me a new experience, good connecting the dots from entrance to waterpark area. I feel like visiting multiple place at the same time, the ambience of the beach, garden, and swimming pool. 3rd visit, getting better for parking area (more friendly)
This is a very beautiful place. We had a nice experience with friends. The staff treated us very nice and good. We had a lot of fun. The food was good and there was safety. We were not harmed by anything. This place is worth a try. We thank you.
I can see clearly now the rain is gone . .
The biggest water park in Kota Sukabumi. (+) A lot of water-theme park variety. From sliding, wave, hot spring, etc. Easy to access from many part of Sukabumi. There is a lot of food and snack stand inside the area. (-) Crowded in holiday season. Entrance and exit gate is quite far from parking lot. Hotspring is very dirty and greenish.
Best water park in sukabumi, west java.
Experience adventure, fun, and thrills at SantaSea Waterpark Sukabumi! This pirate-themed treasure trove in Indonesia boasts impressive water slides, a lively wave pool, a lazy river, and kid-friendly attractions. Unforgettable aquatic fun for the whole family!
SantaSea is a beautiful swimming pool. There are many good places here. There is a pool with a good wave. Children like it very much. Also there is a swimming pool with snow, amazing. This swimming pool is very nice for spending holiday with family. The price of the ticket standard for the swimming pool with playground like Santa Sea. The facilities is very good and the service is nice. Over all, we like swimming here.
I went here yesterday. I was so exited at first because they use pirates for the theme. The price is 70.000 for each person for it is still holiday. When we entered and saw the pool, it was so disappointed. The waters are green. Not like in the pictures we saw. There are so many plastics on the pool. Very...very disappointing.

Ultimate spot to jogging, hit the track before 6.00 am, beyond 7 am there will be a lot of people , jogging will be a challange, near by you have very delocious poridge, nice food hawkers, etc
It’s always feel great to be here.
Quite good place with need improvement in area cleaness
Not much to do in Alun-alun Sukabumi, better go to Taman Merdeka, manyore activities for kids. But the mosque is beautiful.
overall it's full facility, but too many people smoke here, strongly suggest to make it as healthy place
● Under a pale grey sky we shall arise, by SEPULTURA . . .
In my opinion, it will be more better if provide more trees and kids play ground. but it still okay to spent the time in the evening.
