Such a lovely and calm place. Perfect for morning and evening walk 😇😇
Beautiful Natural Place Splash pads for Children BBQ places , Benches, playing area , Trail, Fishing spots, Public Washrooms, Parking Must visit place having most of the one-day picnic spot
Great place to take your bikes. We rode from he end of Mississauga all the way to woodbine beach. Great view of Lake Ontario and exclusive bike lanes. A must do activity all year round.
I started this trail from East (New Castle Marina) to Great Lake (Beechgrove Dr). I take 5.5 hrs to finish it. It is hard to say this is good or bad. If you are riding on waterfront trail, this is very good, road flat, beautiful scenery. There are some bad issue. First, the sign (the waterfront sign) not clear. This trail is not continuing trail, it cut into pieces. Sometime you need to ride on the street but there is no sign to show where I should go. So I lost the correct way a few times. Second, there are a long little up hill (The whole Energy Dr to Megawatt Dr ) this is not good for family ride. After Megawatt Dr it goes back to waterfront trail then it goes to Colonel Sam Dr (to Street again). Then it goes back to the trail again. After you will go to Harbour Rd and Simcoe Street. (Back to street again). Remember some of the places do not have sign, u need to open your google map all the time. I miss the trail entrance on Simcoe St then I need to go back to find the right way. Third, some of the place you can not ride. Ex. Beachfront park and Rouge Beach. There is a lot of sand, you can not ride on the sand. I need to push my bike. Forth, when you pass Lakeside Neighborhood park the trail have more people because a lot of beach and parks, you need to ride slowly and very carefully because a lot of family bbq in parks and beach, some small kids running on the trail. Fifth, do not ride after sunset because a lot of fly objects that will fly into your mouth. Even I keep closing my mouth, the insect still fly into my mouth. You can feel insects hitting your face. My conclusion: If you ride on exactly waterfront trail, the view and feeling is good but no recommend to ride the whole waterfront trail.
Great place for walking cycling
This is such a beautiful place for bike rides, great views, and a really long trail with dedicated lanes which most people respect. Love it.
Beautiful walking trail and views
Beautiful scenery to enjoy by Waterfront trail during nature walk with family.

Petticoat Creek Conservation Park is a lovely spot! The trails are great for walking or biking, and the creek views are beautiful. It’s perfect for a family picnic or a peaceful day outdoors. Highly recommend!
I will not give my full review on this one since we did not explore the whole area. I did not see if there is a playground for kids. but surely it is good place for family gathering and team building since the place is so huge. I like to think that the petticoat creek conservation park is still under renovation since I saw a lot of notice of inaccessible routes. And I hoping they come out an idea to build ladder which is safe going to the lake front. the route going to the beach is a bit stiff for amateur like me it is quite dangerous. I just surprised with the parking fee which is 28 cad dollars. I really hope they improve the conservation so that the fees worth it. I did not see the washroom but they do have. I notice a lot of functioning table and cottage for events.
What an amazing experience!! This is my go to place whenever I am in my high or low spirits. I love to take random walks here. There are lots of existing places to visit here, small treks and sitting areas are amazing. You can come alone or with your family, this place will never let you down. 🙂‍↔️✴️
Petticoat Creek Conservation Park is a spacious, family-friendly destination perched above Lake Ontario, offering panoramic views and plenty of room to roam. It features picnic areas, open fields, a splash pad (seasonal), and paved trails that connect to the Waterfront Trail. The bluff-top lookout is a highlight, especially at sunrise or sunset. Parking is paid, and seasonal washrooms are available. While there’s no beach access, the park excels in scenery, space, and accessibility. Great for group outings, quiet walks, or a full-day picnic with lake breezes.
Petticoat Creek Conservation Park is one of Pickering’s best outdoor getaways. It’s got a mix of trails, open picnic areas, and great views of Lake Ontario from the bluff. The large outdoor pool and splash pad are perfect for summer visits, and there’s plenty of shaded space for families to relax. Parking is paid but usually easy to find, and the park is well-maintained with clean washrooms and picnic shelters. It’s also connected to the Waterfront Trail, so you can keep walking or biking along the lake. Beautiful spot for a day outdoors.
I think it is quite ridiculous that they change so much for entrie with a car when they do not have proper washrooms accessible or running water. In order to access the only washroom you have to walk a far distance which is not practical for all. Furthermore, the washroom is not large and kept well. I'm practically paying for the employees to drive around in golf carts, rather then the actual development of the park. Please invest the funds into reopening the restrooms in the water park area. If I was paying $8-12 then I would be fine, but $25+ is crazy for not even providing a functioning washroom.
So it was the first time my family went there because we’ve just got our TRCA membership back in Feb, we didn’t have to pay for entry fee nor parking fee which was great. There were fewer visitors obviously, and the walk was relaxing. There were many big pieces of green to run around with, some people brought their dogs over. The park is located next to Lake Ontario in Ajax, so visitors can get close to the cliff and take a peek of the lake, although it’s not recommended by the park management. It was a pleasant 20-minutes walk on the park trail from one end to another, and towards the end of the trail is a large steel connecting bridge to a nearby neighborhood. We looked down the bridge to find a young deer fetching for food near the river towards the opening to Lake Ontario. I believe camp booking is available on this site as well. Lots of birds, some squirrels and occasionally a rabbit hopping in and out of the plants.
Great conservation park with many beautiful areas near the waterfront for a picnic. This place is great for a BBQ with family and friends if you live in Toronto as there are not a lot of options for an outdoor BBQ in the city. There is an enterance fee of $20 if you want to park your car inside. Picnic benches are available in all picnic areas and the tall trees provide good shade. Trails are good for cycling and walking near the waterfront. There is a splash pad as well but is currently closed for maintenance. Overall a great park to enjoy a family weekend in the outdoors.

Love this place. Great people running a fun spot. Been going for years. Gone with my kids, now they volunteer there. I have volunteered there as well. From fairies for the wee ones to ghost tours and history-themed escape rooms, there is something for everyone.
A hidden gem just outside the city! Pickering Museum Village is a beautifully preserved collection of heritage buildings that transport you back in time. From the blacksmith shop to the charming log houses, every corner tells a story. The costumed staff are knowledgeable and make history feel alive. Guided tours around 11 am and 130 pm. Always check website especially in summers for kid centric fun activities It's never crowded, ticket prices are very reasonable, and there’s something for all ages, especially during their seasonal events and workshops. A perfect spot for a relaxed and educational family outing without breaking the bank.
Love this place, went for a work team building session and learned a few things I wouldn’t have if not for this visit. I like learning about the past so it was great, I can’t wait to take my daughter here one day.
Certainly a cute museum, with good information and interactive activities. Unfortunately when I went some interactive activities weren't available. Love that there were clean public washrooms available. Would love to see more sessions with the Blacksmith availble to the public....
Celebrated birthday here for the first time . Place was not packed just the day was very hot . Staff was friendly and very nice with the kids
Extremely disappointing experience! When we purchased our tickets at the village desk, we paid the requested amount, but no one mentioned there was an additional fee for the workshop. The workshop area wasn’t clearly marked to indicate which sections required separate payment - some areas were included while others cost extra. My children had already begun participating in the activities when the manager approached me, claiming I hadn’t paid the workshop fee. Despite the minimal cost of the materials (likely under a dollar), she created an unnecessary scene and made it appear as though my family was trying to avoid payment, which was both embarrassing and unfair given the lack of clear communication about additional charges. The poor signage, inadequate information at ticket purchase, and the manager’s unprofessional handling of what should have been a simple misunderstanding made for a very unpleasant visit
On Sunday October 26, I along with Silvana attended the Halloween Fest with our two granddaughters and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We spent about two and a half hours moving throughout the little village and participating in the many activities provided, we did a Halloween scavenger hunt for clues, a beautiful spiderweb craft, a Halloween bean bag toss, we designed and made wizard hats to take home just to name a few. The staff was AMAZING, very friendly and informative, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and creative experince. Many thanks to Pickering Museum Village for an amazing day.
Drove out to the "fairy tour" and was very disappointed. They didn't have people there dressed like fairies for the kids to believe that real fairies were there, activities were all things I could easily have done at home, and they really did the bare minimum set up. I believe they should have had cosplayers as fairies and music at minimum. Museum was boring, not much to see and I'm not convinced that it displayed an accurate understanding of history. For example, they appear to have a 1950s image above an 1800s stove. Why is it even called the Pickering Museum village? It's very far from the heart of Pickering, so we drove very far to see nothing. They advertised this all over Pickering too. Very disappointed.

One of the best well kept flea markets I have been too. Lots of vendors and antiques. I will return there in the near future
Tons of parking, great place to shop. Biggest flea market ever! Lunch at this food court is always packed with the most delicious food. Tons of vendors with cool items and some great finds.
The antique portion of the markets was unbelievable! Really brought back memories. The prices are pretty decent too for what you're buying. The other markets had really good deals as well. Make sure you check out the L'Oréal one, expect to wait in a huge line though as there's that many people. You can get really good deals, bulk prices are provided too. For payment they take debit, cash or credit which is great as most flea markets don't. They're also open 7 days a week.
The Pickering Markets is the local flea market with an abundance of small vendors selling all kinds of goods and services. A few of my Go-To's are the Living Kitchen Sugar Cane Juice, which is a family owned & operated Juicery that provides super fresh sugar cane juice. For $10 you can get a decent sized jug freshly squeezed right in front of you. There's also a very friendly watch repair stall that my family has been going to for years! Their service is fast, friendly and always reliable. Two recent finds for me are the Cozy Candles stall and the Tiny Treats stall. Cozy Candles is run by a lovely lady, who is so passionate about candles, you can really feel it when you meet her. Her hand-made candles have such a strong fragrance, you can't help but sniff every single one of her creations! She has some incredible ones like Rain, Jasmine, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Vanilla Bean, Baby Powder and even some fun fruits ones she calls "Monkey Farts" Tiny Treats is an amazing mini donut stall offering freshly made treats. The staff are so friendly there, it really makes you smile. The donuts are so delicious, it's definitely worth trying!
Not sure why everyone raves about this place. It's okay at best. "Farmer's Market" part is non-existent save for a single produce vendor and a few meat places. Some nice baked goods and homemade sweets tho. There's a British shop with Irn bru slushies! Food stalls are generally bland offerings and nothing caught my eye even though I was starving! Flea market is just a typical flea market with typical junk. The Antique Market is the most interesting part and it's got a lot of neat stuff to browse through.
I've been to this flea market quite a few times. It's good for market items; the antiques are manned by the cashier (tell them the booth number), your typical cell phone repair/cases/techy gear, some leather goods, and a really great 80-90s retro toy shop.
Not a bad place to spend some time. I really enjoy the Antiques side vs the flea market side. The food court is not too bad and that one little Japanese food stand was awesome. The couple that run it are very personable.
Decent sized flea market. It feels more organized than Dr. Fleas or the one at Dixie Outlet Mall. Food Court is pretty good, selection is pretty awesome. Make sure you visit the lady that sells puff pastries, those are really good. Asides from that, the antique part of the market is actually worth taking a look at, they have a very good selection of collectibles and other antiques if you are into that. Worth the visit if you are in the area!

A beautiful place to spend some quality time with your friends and family! It’s not over crowded you can do fishing as well. Parking Is bit expensive easy hour you have to pay 5$ if you park in the street it’s free for 2 hours .overall it’s a good experience highly recommended this place.
Frenchman’s Bay is my ideal choice for morning walks …any day of the year. No matter what the season, the beauty of this Bay is astounding with its beautiful waterfront trail, and marina. You can sit on the rocks or benches and enjoy the sounds of the water splashing or dine at a local restaurant right by the Bay. There is no entrance to visit the Bay but parking right at the Bay is $5 per hour ( as of June 2025)
Such a nice place to get away and spend time with family. We parked on the street with free parking for the first two hours and it's free on Hot spot parking app. Very beautiful view and nice beach. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
This marina has a chill, community vibe with solid amenities for boaters—floating docks, clean washrooms, and even liveaboard options. I like how it’s steps from the beach and surrounded by walking trails and little shops in Nautical Village. It’s a great spot to spend a sunny afternoon. Downsides? It can get crowded in peak season, and the water levels fluctuate, which might be tricky for deeper-draft boats. Still, it’s a lovely place to dock or just hang out by the lake.
Love this marina, have my favorite memories here with loved ones. Beautiful views, community, and beach. Highly recommend :)
Nice place for a stroll. Not too many stores or places to rest. There were lots of birds: ducks, swans, geese, and even a falcon. Some people were fishing for pikes. Some areas are blocked off.
Nice location to enjoy the outdoors. Fishing. Boating. Park. Water. Beach. Shops. Restaurants. Free parking. Many nice people here. Too bad it's so close to the nuclear plant...
Had a wonderful evening there, in one side ocean like Lake Ontario and the otherside beautiful liverpool road, have free parking, lot of fishing spots...i will go again soon

The Cineplex at Pickering City Centre is hands down one of the best theatres I have been too! The space is modern, vibrant, and super impressive. The VIP section is especially impressive; spacious, stylish, and perfect for a more elevated movie night. Every seat in the theatre reclines, which makes for an incredibly comfortable experience no matter where you sit. Food and drink options were excellent quality! Great service too! Looking forward to visiting again!
Best VIP theater, we have been too so far. We went there for our annual Christmas date night. Plenty of parking. Wasn't too busy in the VIP section, which was great. There was a lot of dining space. The bar was empty, and that's where we like to sit, I feel it's more intimate. Then, the dining area. They had a pool table, which was cool. Honestly, it's a good spot to hang out before you watch your movie. Very clean, the service was great. We ordered 2 drinks, hubby had a beer, and I had whiskey business. Aww, it was so good. We also ordered beef loaded nacho, which was delicious. I was impressed. Decent sizes to share. The price was decent as well. I did like the decor of the VIP area Definitely will be back for more movies and some drinks.
One of the best reasons to love this theatre is that is not occupied by roaming, aimless teeens and tweens. If you want to have a sort of grown and mature movie night this is your spot. The VIP area is its own little seperated entrance and spot. The lounge has pool tables, a dedicated bar and plush booths to sit and relax before your movie starts. It also has its own concession stand with very little wait to secure your popcorn, drinks and snacks BUT you can order all of that from the bar or your seat and have them brought to you inside before or at the start of the movie. The seats are incredibly comfortable and recline fully including the foot rest. I absolutely love how spacious the theatre seats are and that they keep the air cool but npt so cold that you need to bring a cardigan.
Vip is a bit expensive but best comfortable chairs in whole GTA hands down. Best for date or night out with your partner, they gave free brownie on bday 🎉 plus there bowl drink menu is great.
VIP Lounge/Restaurant was good. Quick food, made a reservation but you definitely don’t need one. Thai chicken wraps are amazing (I personally upgrade my fries to Truffle Fries) love that you can make the fishbowls into virgins (haven’t tried it yet). Friendly service. P.S. the building is a little cold.
Tryed VIP pretty cool bring food your seat but only crappy thing no butter machine no pop machine so and no water fountain find non vip way better but I went non vip what disaster all pre teens talk trough whole movie ordered popcorn drink worker just standing there took her 2 mins clue in got get my popcorn ordered then she gave it took another min day dreaming then she realized I had pop as well finally gave it too me I say best thing about no vip unlimited pop machine but even that was funny all pre teens buy tiny small drink they runing out refill it every 10 mins lol and most packed theatre seen same movie playing other city’s empty but Pickering full lol definitely won’t come back here stick Scarborough or Oshawa theater 10 times better and parking lot small full tons spots taken lol
Vip experience while expensive was nice. Staff was great with the recos and the VIP section was very well set up
The best seating with full recliner seats, and lots of room between sections. My go to place to watch movies!

What a fun place! Truthfully, this was my second choice for a secondhand market because photos didn't seem to do it justice. We ended up going anyway and the visit proved me wrong! This market is MASSIVE and full of so many treasures. The aisles and booths seem endless. Unfortunately I had to speed myself up to get through the rest in a timely manner. The staff there were very friendly, I had several say hello to me or check in but not overbearing at all. I ended up getting a vintage french evening purse! Would love to revisit.
Although my visit was back in February, prior to the world pandemic, I honestly was so captivated by everything this place had to offer. The prices varied, of course, but some of these awesome objects I found were a pretty decent price considering how old/rare/cool they were! Hope to go back and find some more treasures eventually.
Great place to walk around if you like looking at retro stuff. Maybe they would actually sell something if the sellers would be realistic with their pricing There is a fantastic array of merchandise here but all of it is cheaper at eBay But if you are in the immediate need to drink out of a used sunburned A&W mug Or were looking for “”A fish called Wanda” on laserdisc for movie night tonight, Then this is your place You can even do a drinking game with your friends here... Every time you pass by a booth with an overpriced Coca Cola sign... do a Shot
Very helpful, knowledgeable & friendly workers! They were attentive & carefully wrapped all my purchases. Reasonable prices. Many vendors offering discounts.
I visited for the first time since the Covid lockdown. They were very rigorous in their mask and hand sanitation. They had line directions which were not really useful. There was a long line at the checkouts but I I didn't buy anything so I don't know how fast it moved. Seemed to be the same array of items but it is always an enjoyable visit.
A really great location for antiques and collectibles. The place isn't that big, but it does have a good variety. They accept all method of payments including credit. They also have a few ATM machines. They close a little later than the actual flea market, which is a nice finish to the end of your shopping experience. Some really great deals and the people are very friendly. If the vendors are present, they tend to give you a better deal.
Gorgeous space. Lots of fun. It was my first time there today, there was a wide variety of items from old china, vintage phones/electronics to records and jewelry. Depending on the booth, some of the prices were close to retail, but there were some deals to be found!
Very large scale. Many nice vintage and authentic Chinese antiques. However quite expensive. But if you enjoy watching, you r going to have more fun than St Lawrence Market.

I purchased two Blak Katt stouts at my local LCBO. One of them had a nitro issue and I let the brewery know. The brewery went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Fantastic customer service! Thanks!
You might not want a black cat to cross your path, but this Black Katt, found at C'est What Durham Brewing Co., is welcome to do so. Frequently! All the beers at C'est What are exceptionally smooth, and, due to the blast of nitrogen added to each can, lusciously creamy. Here, the character of the beer is based on traditional English ales, careful experimentation, and the richness of knowledge and experience that comes from a master brewer's decades of experience. Were it solely a mellow, malty red, the Red Dragon would be a very good red indeed. The careful, creative use of hops in the red gives it a zest and burst of flavour that elevates it far above its peers. This is craft! The Hop Addict is a marvelous construct: a being of refined taste -- bold without being brash, with a complex mix of complementary flavours; and, a heady, delicate perfume. C'est What Durham Brewing Co. is where one goes to experience a certain type of magic not easily found; the transformation of a style of beer from ordinary to aspirational by the creative and delicate tuning of a few ingredients...over many decades. C'est parfait!
Great little spot, off the beaten path. A variety of great beers, most are British-style ales, served on nitro tap, and it has a full bottle shop! Patio in the summer months, and dogs are always welcome!
The beer isn't typically what you'd find in north america.
Durham's ESB is the best beer in the world, bar none! It is the most balanced beer when it comes to bitterness and smoothness. The outdoor patio was great, and Jason was an excellent server. Well done!
I went to this brewery yesterday and loved the beer I got to have. The person behind the counter was friendly and told me and my friend the history behind C'est What Durham Brewing.
Fantastic beer in a no nonsense location, don’t expect frills, just great beer! Try the blak katt!
One beer on tap, others in cans. Parking lot patio. A bit lacking in ambiance but there aren't many alternatives in the area.
