This place is closed right now, but such a wonderful area to visit. Lots of green fields, an historic playground for kids, designated pathways and trails, and lots of info on the Fort itself. A great place to exercise your dog AND visit the sheep that are kept for "mowing" the massive grassy areas.
As a teacher or 6 years, I can honestly say this was the best field trip I have ever taken my students on. It is structured in a way that they are constantly experiencing something new, in small guided tours that taught ME things I’d never learned before. They get to do absolutely everything you can think of and leave completely exhausted and happy. My very busy grade 2 class continuously exclaimed “this is the best field trip ever.” — I completely agree with them!
Such a fantastic example of keeping history alive! I'm very glad Fort Saskatchewan has this site. This place is a must visit.
I had no idea of the history in Fort Saskatchewan about the Fort Heritage Precinct. Great place for a walk with the family. The area is open and is like a park although I did not see any picnic benches. There is washroom facilities and are well kept and clean. There are guided tours available. There is a Fort to see and a little village. It’s really cool.
Beautiful facility to walk around and discover some of Alberta’s history. Good price point to go for a couple hours. Beautiful staged rooms. Good for kids and very educational.
Excellent tour including the old court house, turn of the century buildings, and a replica of the original fort built by the North West Mounted Police. If you're visiting, or live in the area, and are interested in the history of the region, I highly recommend it. The tour takes about 2 hours and you're free to enjoy the exhibit in the old Fort stables for longer if you'd like.
Had a lot of fun wandering around the old Fort and the other heritage buildings. Though it was winter and nothing was running, it was still fun to see.
Went down and found so busy with kids, must have been a Halloween thing across the street so we just kept going, lined up around the block.

Lots of great homemade products! Produce from Riverbend farms is great and found some great local unpasteurized honey. Unfortunately this year the stone fruit was hit hard from the frost damage last year. But there was still selection of cherries , peaches, and nectarines.
It's good enough, I can never find anything for myself. A lot of useless items but some good fresh fruit and vegetables; some services as well such as knife sharpening
a well organized Farmer's Market. loads of fresh produce, loads of stuff you won't usually find in a retail store. most stands have really good prices too
Friendly staff and always organize and operate excellent Farmers Market and Canada Day Market. Thanks for all your hard work
Nice park, good for a farmer's market, Thursdays 4-7, Thai food is great
Love the market. Always come away with lots of goods.
Thursdays in the Fort are lit thanks to this place. It's like a fair every week.
Very active and good selections from the vendors.

The Fort Saskatchewan Dog Park is an absolute gem for dog owners and their furry friends! 38 acres!! Plenty of space for dogs to run, play, and socialize. One of the standout features of this park is its four distinct, fully fenced-off areas, each designed to cater to different needs and preferences. Whether you have a small dog that needs a safe space to play, a more energetic pup that loves to run, or a social butterfly that enjoys mingling with other dogs, there’s a perfect spot for every pup. There are numerous poop bag dispensers strategically placed throughout the park. You’ll never have to worry about running out of bags while keeping the park clean and pleasant for everyone. The park is well-maintained, with ample seating and shaded areas for dog owners to relax and enjoy their visit.
My dog and I thoroughly enjoy this wonderful space. It has a large fenced in section with a pond and it has three smaller but still very large fenced in sections with one of those sections specifically for small breed dogs. Most people and dogs are friendly although occasionally you do get a dog or a human who is a bit snarky. The space is very big so, you can just carry about your business in a location away from those types. There is a porta potty though, I have never used it.
Excellent park, lots of poop bag stations. Really clean, nice to have a relatively clean pond as well as smaller separately fenced off dry areas and a small dog area. Very well maintained and friendly park
This is the most AMAZING dog park we have ever been to. The photos don't do it justice, it's HUGE!!! There are three different smaller "paddocks" to go with your dog that have agility equipment and a larger fenced in field that seems to go on forever. Garbage bins, doggy bags, and park benches are situated throughout and for the most part most people do their part in cleaning up their dogs mess. It is always very well maintained and even decorated for Christmas!! One of our favourite spots!
I have heard many dog owners recommend this dog park. Today was my first visit, my dog and I both really enjoyed it. I usually can't keep my dog out of the water so it's nice that this park has a nice water area to play. I've also enjoyed agility for a long time so it's nice that there is a doggy playground to work on his skills. The owners and dogs were friendly. The only complaint I have is that many owners don't seem to pick up after their pets. I had to watch where I was walking.
This is such a great place to take your dog. It has 4 separate enclosed areas for your dog to run around in with one area being the biggest with a pond in the middle. And its close to the river so even if you don't want to be in an enclosed area you can have a long walk on the trail in surrounding area.
Fantastic dog park with multiple fenced-in areas to choose from for various sized dogs. Large pond in the big, open area. Agility features available. Dog poo bags and garbages readily provided, and a port-o-potty available as well. Lots of parking.
Really nice place for dogs to run freely. Just we wish for summertime if there will be a water park with small man- made swimming pool as the pond is really dirty.

Great rink, small town feel. I'm sure the renovation will be good, no problems with construction though, well planned.
decent arena in the fort, but STILL under renovations after a many months and parking is and issue. the heat wasn't turned on either so pretty cold even with a packed playoff crowd.
Good lil rink for lil man hockey
Another great great ice rink for the kids hockey.
It is the best ice surface in Fort Saskatchewan. It has the largest seating there as well. The lights are bright the dressing rooms are alright sized 1 dressing room on each end is a bit smaller but even the smaller dressing room is nicer than the old bomb shelter rinks in Edmonton. A larger rink capacity with some upgrades would be nice so we could see some Junior A hockey return to Fort Saskatchewan.
Nice little small town rink. Has a good snack bar. Fries, burgers, hot dogs alll types of snacks for the kids. Coffee etc for adults. Rink has the feel of grass roots hockey. Lots of NHL stars have come from this arena. Loved the atmosphere.
The JRC is the best rink in Fort Saskatchewan but it needs some updating. The change rooms are on the small side (but I've seen much worse) and the smell of old hockey equipment is everywhere. The stands have very good sight lines and the lobby is big. Good and ample parking.
Great place. Clean and easy to access.

I cannot believe I have been driving into the city for the pool with the kids, when this gem of a pool is right here. The life guards were outstanding and so alert to what was happening in the water. I so appreciate making the kids do a swim test to be in the deep end. I have never felt so safe being in the water with my 2 kiddos knowing the life guards had a close eye. Both my kids said it was the most fun they have ever had at the pool. Also the pool and change areas are sparkling clean. So impressed and will definitely be back.
I do wish the pool was warmer but I get that it’s for the comfort of the lane swimmers. Five stars forever, because this pool is sparkling clean. My family goes to a lot of pools in the Edmonton area and my goodness, they are absolutely filthy. Harbour pool’s change rooms are always meticulously clean with no foul stench.
I am giving the lifeguards a 10/5 for their incredible job saving a young man's life today. You all responded with phenomenal speed and accuracy. Huge respect to your skills and organization. ❤️
I frequent this pool quite often. While I really enjoy the cleanliness of the facility and the friendly staff, the water is on the chilly side. I've been told that it's kept at that temperature for the comfort of the lane swimmers but it's unfortunate for the rest of the patrons wading in the pool with smaller children.
Great pool, really like that they switched to salt water. It is family friendly. Our children love it there.
I and my sister and brother had fun there. No slimy water but, the training instructor was really nice and helpful. Although the hair drying machine hurts. But overall this place is really nice
Amazing pool! Small but don't let that fool you! Diving board, swinging rope, slide both Space for the younger kids and the older kids! Water is warmer water which is always appreciated! Have a warm whirlpool and a hot tub! Clean & well-maintained staff all friendly!
It is such a nice pool!! The boys love the rope swings! The hot tub is nice and hot. The sauna is super nice! The wood it new and clean! Just wish it was warmer! The place is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It’s such a nice community.

The space is amazing! Went to finger eleven tonight and everything sounded amazing! The only thing I would say as a negative is they need to get their shows on ticketmaster! I previously bought finger eleven tickets in red deer and just stumbled on a flyer that they would be in the DOW!
Free public parking available. Big Stage, lighting, sound system and seating arrangements are good.
Our show Throwback Childhood Memories was a big success. The staff and volunteers are amazing. Thanks Fort Saskatchewan for supporting the arts.
Great venue for a concert. Intimate setting and sound is good!
Great theatre in Fort Saskatchewan that is comfortable with excellent sight lines. My wife and I were here years ago to see a comedian and we really enjoyed ourselves. There is lots of parking and easy access to the theatre. This is a great facility and what ever show you would come to see here you will be comfortable.
Theatre is very nice, great sound, and acoustics. Wish the seats were a bit more steep, so when someone tall sits in front of you, you could still see the whole stage. No food or drinks allowed.
Saw the CFCW HONKY TONK SHOW LAST NIGHT it was AWESOME WHAT GREAT TALENT WE HAVE IN ALBERTA CCMA WINERS. NEXT St Albert We want to go again.cast went to Mr Mikes after. Great food and drinks and more playing and singing.we got photos 🥰
It was a cozy theatre and the balcony seating had a great view of the Classified concert. Very friendly staff and decent drink pricing for a concert venue. Also, my husband can't wait to go back to use his reusable adult sippy cup haha.

It was a very clean water splash park when we went in August of 2024. The womens bathroom was clean, you can tell it must be checked regularly. People were nice, other children were nice too! And we were from out of town, thi is not our home in Fort Sask. We will go back for sure.
Awesome place. Kids love running back and forth from the spray park to the play park. Nice on hot day!
it was fun! never been to a spray park before so it was an experience for sure all 3 kids loved it! there's 3 different playgrounds which is nice! overall good experience
Birthday party went off without a hitch! Kids had a blast at the playground and spray park.
Beautiful place to enjoy with the kids. Wasn't too impressed with whomever was flying a drone overhead while there. I figure if it was a news drone or something there should be some type of communication to park goers stating why one might see a drone flying overhead, otherwise it's a bit off-putting not knowing if the drone is there for some nefarious reason - I mean, c"mon, there's children running around in bathing suits, who wants their child being potentially recorded in this setting?
Delicious Pot au feu seafood for two. Fun Fado music to enjoy for a full evening out. Yikes! This was in Portugal, how did it end up in Fort Saskatchewan?
Our children who are five and seven love this park. The spray park is open during the days inn summertime. The outdoor workout zone is more than half out of order. Other than that, the playground is in great shape.
One of the best parks in Fort Sask! Pryce Alderson Park is an amazing park that features a court to shoot hoops, two great playgrounds, one fantastic exercise equipment area, and a spray park all backed with a very large field area, ready for soccer, baseball, kickball, kite flying, or laying on your back and stareing at clouds! Easily accessible by multi-use pathways, it also has a decent size parking lot so parking is usually not an issue. All the play equipment and sprap park is decently close together with lots of grass picnic space between. There's quite a few tables, a few with umbrellas providing some shade aswell. Even a little library sits outside the front of the bathrooms that truely rounds out this fantastic park.

Parks rule because they are outside. I wish it looked like the picture above, if all parks looked like that. I'd probably love outside year round.
Great place. Has a fun zip line for the kids. Lots of slides and climbing structures. Picnic tables and benches. Swings. There is an ice rink by there in the winter.
Nice park with a zip line, not a lot of shady spots so bring a chair so you can stay cool on hotter days.
Good place to walk the dog. Sketchy motel near by but dosent really cause issues
Awesome I had such amazing memories and had so much fun!
Pretty much skated the sticks out of babe and des' hands
Great place to go play hockey
Amazing every one should go there
