Lovely place with a variety of activities for the whole family. Kids had a blast at the giant slide, the maze, tractor drive and picking blueberries. You get so much value for the $3 ticket per person :-). Very lovely and welcoming staff at every point. I particularly loved the 'horse' swings and zipline. Found that quite creative. **You pay extra for the blueberries by weight. It's however still cheaper than buying from the big boy stores.
Amazing little place to pick berries. Quiet and serene. We picked the amount of probably 60$ in the store for 17$.
I drove 6 hours to enjoy the best Blueberries in Ontario. These did not disappoint. I will drive home now i cannot wait to try them in 6 hours. Do the goats eat the blueberries too? That would make them turn blue eventually! Hahahahah. Please install a hot dog stand, brawts will suffice. I am home now. The blueberries are good and i got syrup and a cinamon roll.
First timer, loved at folks very easy friendly , very helpful as I was explaining my "try to grow blueberries " killed them! I can grow most thi gs but they are the only thing so far not a success, anyways shared information, Staff helpful with grand daughter questions, Will be back as little lady got too tired picking to make it to the petting/ ride area, tractor rides was fun! Low ride trailers for a handy cap or wheel chair for Grandparents! Set up for all- Very Large out door sitting area to enjoy treats, drink and cool in the shade!! Going back!! Thanks MAX for helping and sharring information!! ( STAFFER)
Blueberries were awfully small compared to last year but in all fairness last year we came at the end of August and they were huge. Also lack of rain probably didn't help this year
We went with our young Niece and Nephew who had a wonderful time, it was quiet when we visited (possibly as it was a really hot day), plenty of slides, climbing things, pedal go carts all in a lovely picturesque setting. They also have a small collection of animals with one of the highlights being able to hold the baby goats. The icing on the top of the visit was the great ice cream selection and good selection of things in the shop. I would highly recommenda visit if you have young kids, just like animals or want to just stop in for a nice cold snack!
Had a wonderful time with my wife and daughter, and for only $3 per person it's a fun and inexpensive way to enjoy a weekend if you're looking for something to do. Only recommendation would be for the establishment to have a water bottle filling station of some kind in their lobby. Other than that, would recommend to any family and friends!
Loved this place. Can definitely recommend the blueberry cinnamon rolls - absolutely divine!

Some very surprising exhibits. We spent about an hour today with every step filled with interesting pieces to see and read. While living in the area for many years, we had not visited this amazing collection of history until today. Well done!
Took a stroll in the morning, nicely well kept.
My wife, my 3 grandchildren and I went here. We all enjoyed the exhibit inside the welcome building. My grandchildren loved the school house there. The inside tour of the buildings was very nice. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
A fun quiet spot to check out a bit of town history. The kids really enjoyed going into the old buildings.
Nice variety museum. Displays are outside and inside. There is the main building, an old school house, church and outdoor display. Do be aware though to call first and make sure they will be open. They close at random times to accommodate parties and their staff.
Nice museum, very interesting and informative
They have groomer stuff there now. Keep your kids away.

Our go to for drive-in. I'm glad we still have this wonderful gem to go to when we feel like watching a movie at the drive-in, we do over an hour of road to get there but it's definitely worth it. Lovely place, they even got a place for your children to play while they wait for the movie to start. Bug mesh is a must to keep the windows open but they sell them pretty cheap at the lobby, to be fair everything is pretty cheap. 25$ for the car no matter how many people, and the prices for the snacks/drinks are very cheap compared to cinemas. I will continue to recommend it, make the drive if you have to, it's definitely worth it.
Nostalgic drive-in up off the 17 (Pembroke) Big enough screen. Nice management. Hot food is actually pretty good for a drive-in, and reasonably priced. They sell those mosquito nets that fit over your car windows too. Priced right for carloads. Plenty of payment options - and "Yes" you can just pay at the entrance too.
super amazing experience couldn’t recommend the drive in more as a fun summer activity for all ages. 100% will be visiting again this summer
This is a great place for your family to go for movies! The tuck shop has everything you need (popcorn, nachos, coffee, pop, much more). Every row is raised so that each vehicle can see above the next one. It has been family friendly every time we have been. After over 5 years of going here, always a good spot! Review update: after years of going here, still the best family movie spot!
Absolutely amazing!! You cannot beat this price for a set of movies. Very fun atmosphere. Lots of typical movie snacks to make you feel like you're at the theatre. Fun and friendly staff. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Lots of fun and will bring back memories if you've ever been to a Drive-In before.
Absolutely love this place! Super cheap pricing, great snacks and the staff are very friendly. We're so lucky to have this gem! Edit to add: the selection seems to be mostly action or children's movies, which is unfortunate. I'd like to see other genres (horror, romance, thriller, comedy, classics) available more often. I would be going every weekend if that was the case!
Always a good time! I love coming to watch movies here. The staff are all friendly. The double features are fantastic, and the movie selections are up to date. The larger vehicles are supposed to park further back, so I had concerns about people who back in and lift the hatch. The wide screen movies are a little higher up on the screen, so the lifted hatches don't end up blocking views. There is a playground to keep kids occupied before the movies start. But beware, is not the plastic kind with rubber underneath! Classic metal pieces, like a slide and swing set are there. They don't do it like this anymore!
So fun would go again and will next time I'm out here

Melanie was awesome! Friendly, efficient and put me at ease. This was a gift from my daughter in law, and she chose well. Only had a pedicure once years ago somewhere else. Would definitely do this again. Next time I will be sure to try the massage chair while waiting for my nails to dry. But did not know I could. And beautiful, bright view. Be sure to not miss the entrance to this little gem in Pembroke
Just had an amazing massage done by April. She does such a good job. My muscles feel like clouds.
Always a wonderful experience here. Staff are wonderful, view is gorgeous, prices are highly competitive. Perfect for a little personal getaway, or even a birthday present!
I was so very pleased today with the pedicure and eyebrow treatment that I had done at Urban today. My experience was leaps and bounds better than another spot in Pembroke that I had recently been to. Keep up the great work!! Your top notch service is very much appreciated!!
Had the lucky experience of an urban spa pedicure a couple of weeks ago. I was the recipient of a silent auction held at the opp station for a chili luncheon in support of the warming house. Hubby came along for a pedicure as well. Amber did a fabulous job, it's been about 4 weeks and my toes are looking fabulous still. April took care of my husband and they were superb. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much Amber and April.
I was needing to have a pedicure done today because my son is getting married on Saturday. I know I left it till the last minute but I had a hectic schedule up to today. Anyways I gave them a call and they were able to fit me in!! I loved the service I received. Alice did my pedicure and she was amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable and didn't rush through the service. Because of the experience I had today I will be back. I've decided I need to treat myself more and they are the place that will help me with this. ❤️
I went for a waxing service today. The staff were lovely, however I am disappointed in the hygiene of the spa. The bathroom seat was coated in urine, the floors were quite filthy. The waxing room itself looked like a mud room covered in hair. The staff are very kind, but sadly I won’t be going back due to the cleanliness of the spa.
I was so excited to have a massage today since my lower back and hips have been so sore from sitting at a desk all day. The therapist was very inexperienced and didn't even treat the areas I had mentioned although we discussed my hip and lower back was causing the concern. I knew she didn't have any experience as soon as she started, so i didnt even bother to say anything....She didn't apply any pressure, and I seriously think it was her first time. She definitely wasn't registered...It was just a very poor experience which was very disappointing as I was so looking forward to the pain relief.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Owen, one of the city planners for Pembroke I've worked directly with for a project of mine. Owen is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but goes above and beyond to ensure that every question is answered and every concern is addressed. Owen's professionalism and patience has made the entire process smooth and understandable. Thank you once again Owen for all your help!!!
City officials are not interested in beautifying (cleaning up) the streets of Pembroke. Looks run down with weeds and litter; can't even put waste containers along east & west parts of main street. Don't require businesses to maintain tidy frontages. Not appealing. Property standards not important!
I applied for a property tax credit for vacancy rebate. I was told that council removed that. Therefore they are grabbing that from us and not helping local business. What a sad situation in this town that business owners and landlords need to endure with this Council. Time for a clean sweep I would say
A wonderful small town with the amazing high density of murals.
Unsafe, expensive for no reason. Can’t walk my kid down the street without seeing used needles. Rentals cost the same as Ottawa with zero amenities. Nowhere to shop except Walmart, nowhere to get a GOOD coffee employment is a joke. Construction in major roads for the last decade yet nothings ever fixed. 0/10
Town is beautiful and council has been great to work with on multiple fronts. 3 stars due to the excessive property tax rates. We love living here but wouldn’t buy here again just for that reason.
Everyone I deal with at city hall has been kind, engaged, take ownership of my issue or question, thorough in their response and genuinely interested in helping. I have lived in numerous cities (Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Gatineau, Winnipeg) and Pembroke city hall staff stand above the rest!
I know it's the holiday but putting a sign on door would be a courtesy. Hubby Looked on line for hours of operation. Make a special trip 2:25 there to get pet tags to come to a locked door and no reason why. Hope the new year is planned better not just for you, but for all those you serve.

A beautiful park on the bank of Ottawa River, where one can spend quality time with friends and family. There are lots of mature trees giving plenty of shade. And there are also plenty of picnic benches. A point of attraction is the boardwalk going around along the river bank. There are also a few gazebos beside it where one can rest and soak in the sight of the water and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. This park also has a children's play area, which is an added attraction. The restrooms are nice and very well-maintained. And, finally, there is plenty of parking. The only downside, for an angler like, me is the dearth of proper access points to be able to throw in a line. However, that is a minor inconvenience compared to what this park has to offer.
Yhis was my first time in Pembroke. Overall, the city is quiet, nice, clean, and very attractive. The Marina Park was very clean, well maintained, and decorated with natural flowers. A lot of benches to accommodate tiered visitors. I truly loved this city. The shore is clean and scenic.
Absolutely stunning park! Extremely well maintained and stunning views!! Lots if historucal canoe stuff around and info. Highly recommend checking this out!
What a gem! This is a beautiful and well kept park. We stopped on our way through the area and had a nice picnic. The grounds were spotless and well manicured. There was an amphitheater with a bagpipe band playing in the background while we enjoyed our dinner. Thanks for such a great place!
It is so beautiful and peaceful. There is plenty of the city's history on display along the trail and boardwalk. You can launch your boat for a day on the water or spend time fishing from shore. The ice cream shop has amazing flavors and the local live music in the summer months at the amphitheater is so good.
A lovely place to walk along the Millennium Boardwalk and read about the history and way of life of the people of Pembroke and see pictures of Pembroke from the 1800s and early 1900s. There's a 2hr free parking nearer the park (be careful of the paid parking lot ...read the signs). There are a children's playground and giant sundial, a few picnic tables, benches, pagodas, plaques, and lots of shade. There's also a checkers board painted on a tree stump and two wooden seats... Very nice feature if you want to play and bring your game pieces. The Marina and boat launch is on one end where you can get food from the food shop. I visited on the Saturday of Victoria Day and was surprised that the washrooms were locked! There was a building on the other end beyond the Kiwanis Way arch but I didn't go that area due to time. Maybe there's a washroom there? You can also visit the Riverwalk Amphitheatre, the Courtyard and the Woodland Chapel.
Beautiful and well-maintained waterfront trails, walkways and park area. Perfect for a day trip if you’re nearby or a quick picnic. A couple of food trucks nearby to have a quick bite or walk to downtown (5 mins) for more options. Lots of locals frequent this park and are very welcoming and friendly! Stroller-friendly trails (most of it) where you always have a good view of the water. Nice marina area as well.
Wonderful place to spend time by the water. Stopped by the place on the way to Ottawa. Sitting under the gazebo for lunch and watching the water is great. Lots of free parking. A children play area and benches. Water looked great and shallow. Next to the college.

The staff are like family. Fast friendly and not bad at darts. They hold a dart tournament there weekly on Tuesday nights and some weekends. Also there is a Friday and Saturday party that can't be beat.
Always a blast! Many great memories there. P.S Tabitha rocks!
We play darts there once a week
Fantastic staff ! Great venue for live music and DJs in Downtown Pembroke.
Don't go to this bar if you're a visible minority. I just got back from here from what I was hoping would have been a fun night. Instead, another customer made several racial slurs at me, using words such as "habibi" in reference to my skin color. Will never go back here again due to this extremely negative encounter.
Worst band I've ever seen in a bar, DJ was almost worse. Drinks are standard with pretty regular prices. Small place but I guess good for a small town. Have never met such mean girls in a bar in my life, don't expect the usual camaraderie you find at city bars and make sure you have a couple friends (especially if you are female). Seems very age inclusive which was refreshing. The men are pretty chicken as well but it makes sense given how aggressive the girls are, they clearly don't have to do much work. 0/5 will likely go back at some point because there isn't much else to do around here.
Terrible place. Tabatha sucks
Great place for a drink or see a live band and party all night. Great karaoke as well.

Had great time with my son at this awesome course with great views from almost every hole
Not a bad 9 hole. Carts need serious maintenance . Brakes are slow to respond. Course needs work but still very playable. Greens good. Not much direction from hole to hole and some greens hidden from tee blocks. No info on score card. Inexpensive. Plays pretty quick. Great for beginners.
A great fun course ran by an amazing family. Fun to play with challenging golf all the way through. Thanks for everything Dan!!
A nice short nine hole course just across the border from Ontario in Quebec. It's a fun mix of par 3s and 4s, with one par 5. There is some elevation changes that make for added challenges and enjoyment. I usually play it once a year as it is my father's home course, so we often play it when I visit. It's usually in fairly good condition.
Growing up in the area, I've played every local course and this was always my least favorite. I hadn't played it in years and recently gave it another shot, my feelings have NOT changed. Blind shots are kind of the theme on this course, it has the potential for some gorgeous views but the layout kills it. Ie: Lowering the front tees on #4 would make for one of the most beautiful holes in the valley and could be the courses signature hole for all the right reasons. There's literally a 9 foot tall flag pole on the par 3 6th so you can tell where the green is from the tee. The course and the clubhouse haven't changed at all over the years, it looks like exactly zero money has been invested in anything outside of cutting grass. The fairways are inconsistent, wet and soft on one spot while 10 feet away they are dry and hard as a rock. I'm not even sure there is any drainage on this course. Greens were recently aerated unfortunately, so ball bounced all over when putting but an educated guess would see them normally playing on the slow side. It had rained the night before and the bunkers had not been tended to, I'm guessing the only guy working just hadn't got to it yet. Must have been a members night there the night prior as well, because there were beer/cooler bottles on the ground all around the garbage cans less than 50 meters from the clubhouse entrance. If you are just a weekend golfer and want to get out and whack some balls, drink some beers, and have some laughs with buddies then this is potentially the course for you. If you are a more serious golfer looking for a good outing on a decent course, keep driving and take a big pass on this one. **After writing this review it came to my knowledge that the owners of this course apparently own the Pembroke Golf Course, if so I have a good feeling I know where they are investing their money.
Carts are the reason its not a 5, they were a little ripped up. But the golf was something else :) healthy fairways, challenging tee offs, while some easier. Great course, will be back again!
An older course, 9 holes, not the best maintained, but still a fun morning/afternoon for a cheap round of golf. Staff are friendly and you can pop into Pembroke for lunch. Rentals available at the Pro Shop.
Always enjoy playing Island Brae. Course in wonderful condition. Not a difficult layout, but fun and interesting. Still a challenge for my limited golfing abilities.
