Bavin Studios is a hidden gem in Invermere not to be missed..we spotted the sign for the studio whilst in Invermere and given an interest in glass blowing, checked out the place and it was an enthralling experience. Stunning pieces being exhibited and left with a beautiful coloured one of a kind glass bead made by a local artist. Given the heat and temperatures glass blowing demos will happen on a Sunday in October and if in the area sure to stop. Excellent knowledgeable staff readily sharing her expertise along with the history of the studios!
Absolutely LOVE this studio. The art is amazing and the variety is great. Always enjoy coming in to see what's new. 100% recommend visiting.
Gorgeous glass work. The glow in the dark mushroom was a great find.
Do not miss this gem of an experience while in Invermere. A family run shop that's been in business for generations. We've stopped by every time we are in the area. Now, I am sharing the experience with our kids. Check and see if there is a glass blowing demonstration.
Unbelievable artisans. If you're looking for a place to look at glass work that sells trinkets and small souvenirs they do have some of those items. But if you want to be completely floored and mesmerised by true artistic talent you need to stop in here and take a look around because some of the pieces are out of this world. Truly one of Canada's last artistic talents when it comes to glass! Highly recommended.
Really cool & unique glass items for sale. Perhaps a touch on the pricey side in some instances but it's all hand made on site. Really interesting to watch the process.
The artist (Ryan) was very nice and was excellent to observe his art. It was very cool and definitely recommend!
Always a must stop when in invermere. Great little craft gift shop with some amazing blown glass art

We made a quick stop at Ozzie’s Amusements this morning to break up a long drive, and it was such a great decision! The go-karts were a blast for everyone in our group, and the whole place was incredibly clean and well-maintained. You can tell they take pride in keeping things in top shape. Fun, friendly, and a perfect pit stop—highly recommend for families or anyone looking to add some excitement to their day!
Worth every cent! This course reminds me of the mini golf options in the USA we've visited, where they typically are way better then just a green with some rocks. We were impressed!! They've put alot of effort into their establishment. The mini golf course has a little waterfall, church and a waterwheel, and all sorts of fun levels to play. Afterwards, get the tasty gelato with interesting flavors like mojito and unicorn and go sit at their back patio (which is gorgeous). My kids tinkered on the outdoor piano and we enjoyed the pretty flowers and greenery. The go karts were pretty good too, you can go quite fast but essentially in a circle that takes about 40 seconds to get around so you can really do a lot of laps. My only feedback was to have the staff give better instructions for kids. My daughter had never drove before- so she didn't even know where the brake was and ended up hitting another cart in front of her (yes I should have explained to her, but I assumed they would). I will also add the owners are very kind people. Thank you for helping us get our van running after we ended up breaking down. We really appreciated your efforts in helping us even after you had closed.
Little spot for go kart, mini golf and ice cream. We only did the go karting, and it was fun. It's a round track only, but the karts go a decent speed and you get 8 minutes of going around. There wasn't a wait when we came on a Friday around 12, but looks like some people were starting to come in as we were leaving.
Went as a group of 5 and had an awesome time. Super fun 😁. Don't forget to treat yourself to a handmade waffle cone after your round!
My grandsons and I had a very enjoyable time here. Staff were great. The go karts were fun. The mini golf course was well-kept, with creative and unique holes. We loved the paddle wheel the most. Perfect mix of sun and shade. Finishing with ice cream ended it deliciously.
What a neat little mini golf course. We had a lot of fun with this one. And the ice cream and gelato was delicious. 💯 recommend
The mini golf was a lot of fun, and quite easy, it kept people moving. It is really pretty and well maintained. Highly recommend! I dropped one star because the go cart track looked simple, however we did not drive them.
Super friendly staff. Mini golf is a lot of fun with some really great designs, the grounds are super clean and well kept. Go Carts are also a ton of fun. They have single rider and double rider for those with little kids. Carts run great and feel safe to drive. Always a great time and grabbing an ice cream to enjoy on the patio afterward all the fun is always a nice treat.

Great time here, had an excellent 9 holes for $39. It was a fun course, not super technical but well worth the price. I would recommend this course if you are in Invermere and looking for a fun round!
Great value for the course. Fairways were great, greens were fast and fun in the front 9 we played. Quiet Sunday no one in front of us and no one behind. We will be back
Played: August 31, 2025 Windermere Valley Golf Course: Old-School Charm and Great Value Windermere Valley is a refreshing, classic parkland course—easy to walk and a great alternative to the typical, high-dollar, mountainous courses in the area. Playing short at just 5,036 yards, the course is flat and firm, boosting confidence for shorter hitters while still offering enough challenge for any golfer. The fairways roll out nicely, which our wives loved, as the shorter holes allowed for realistic chances at par or even a few birdies. It was in good, attractive condition when we played, benefiting from recent rains, and is ideal for a group outing. The small clubhouse has full food service, a patio, and a picnic area. Amenities include a modest pro shop, a driving range, and a practice putting green. Crucially, it's one of the most affordable options around. Absolutely recommended! It’s an ideal choice for a stress-free family outing or a casual, fun round of golf.
Absolutely amazing course — and the people make it even better. From the moment you arrive, you’re met with genuine hospitality and a crew that clearly takes pride in what they do. The course itself is in fantastic shape this year: greens are smooth, fairways are lush, and every hole offers a great mix of challenge and fun. Honestly, for the condition it’s in and the overall experience, it’s hands-down the best value I’ve ever seen in a golf course
Great course but the older guy who checked us in dampened my groups mood. Talked to us as if we were children and was very impolite. Makes us not want to come back. Everyone else was great and treated us with respect, but for that to be our first interaction kinda sucked.
Great pricing, great people, Great experince , amazing course, great food, 10/10
My favorite course to play in the valley. Great price, and a forgiving course that will still challenge you. The food in the club house is great as well. The chicken burger is the best.
Probably the best value for all the courses in the Radium, Windermere and Fairmont area. The course was in very good condition, with some easy holes and some difficult holes.

Absolutely serene, peaceful and full of wildlife. The new west legacy trail is a must do, a gorgeous nature path that's being built from Fairmont to invermere.
Awesome hike, beautiful scenery, frozen lake, unbelievable mountain views
A beautiful lake with plenty to do. Am excellent way to spend the summer, especially if you have / rent a boat.
I like the fact that the lake is large. In theory plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. 2 stars because of the native guy screaming about calling his tribe to kick me off his land. Would have been 3 stars but the lake fish are full of worms. When i say full... i mean... i thought the fish had swam through some frog eggs. So i rinsed it, started cleaning it and found many more inside, now moving. I live off natural food as much as i can and have never been so disgusted. Great for your skiboatwakecation but probably wont find me on it again.
Great family friendly park with slides and a nice beach.
Fun trail, with with lots of elevation gain and loss. Great views of Invermere, and mountain ranges from the other side of the lake.
A great place to swim in. The water is clean and the surrounding area is neat too.
Beautiful lake but lots of motorized water craft making noise and wake!

Okay, so in all honesty, this cute little bowling alley is a bit old. The lanes and balls are a tad banged up but let me assure you that if you have the right company you are all going to have a blast! The staff at the alley were very pleasant and fun. 13 of us bowled on Boxing Day and we had a great time. One of the lanes ball return thingys were broken, so two of the staff actually went behind the scenes and returned all of the balls promptly (by hand)! The alley staff went above and beyond in the customer service department! We had an amazing time and look forward to the next time we can make it. Great job!! Thank you!
Excellent customer service! They accommodated an impromptu birthday party for us and were prepared with tables, cutlery, plates and a knife! Appreciate the friendly staff and awesome bowling!
Glow bowl for $7 and a nice cold beer was a great pit stop on the way to our campsite. Sahij was so friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him about our trip. Thanks guys! 🥳
The old guy running the place was unpleasant and clearly did not want to be there. He scared the kids and acted like the basics of his job were an inconvenience. That aside, we enjoyed our family bowling night, had a cold beverage and a few laughs.
Sahij!!! You’re the man!!!. We stayed at fairmont for 2 days but the kids didn’t get to use the outdoor pool as the weather turned ugly and rainy. We made the trip to bowl at valley alley and we had the friendliest service ever!! Very good costumer service and the day was saved!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our little boys had a blast and Singh was extremely nice and made it a very fun and exciting experience. Great place to stop for entertainment on a rainy day.
Wow! This place was a godsend! The highway closed unexpextedly and we pulled in. Bowling alley was closed but Sanhj opened it for us and was one of the nicest humans I have ever encountered. We stayed and played and laughed and finished our game just as traffic started moving. Thank you!!!!
Went here with my small children and it was a great time. Fun atmosphere, great staff and good value.
